one of my favorite things in teen titans is robin wearing his own mask underneath the red x mask
#i mean he obviously has an identical mask underneath his own mask lets not pretend#theres a scene where cyborg pulls him back hy the cape or something and they have like#that effect where the mask kind of stays floating in the air for a second and i pausit and he just had those#like round whites with a black outline#which is how they draw him comically sometimes#i literally don't remember if there's a moment where the mask is even mentioned in tt sorry#don't tell me I'm rewatching i barely remember anything so this is very fun#i di remember my favorite bits tho#so the red x and the apprentice episodes but that's all i think lmao#also i used to be so focused on robin when i was watching this as a kid#but rn im also appreciating the other characters as well though i hate all the#romance teasing this show has uh I don't see it i like robin and star as friends so much tho#i REALLY like robin and cyborg here tho they're awesome here for some reason hehehehee :]

Honestly if I didn't know myself better I'd make a... Uh I forgot how they're called
But anyway a quiz, question whatever
Of what thing I should revisit first from my old things (not fandoms specifically)
Like idk re-watch Gravity Falls, Tangled the Series or just enjoy My Little Pony's g4 while dealing with irl stuff finally
But I know myself! So I won't, bc I usually lose ideas like that next morning if I don't actively start watching RIGHT NOW and stuff and I know I still remember them all as well pfff
#I wonder how many people even remember my tts fandom era#Or how many remember the levels of obsession I had with GF YEARS ago#Like sure Undertale is old too but that's a cool indie game everyone knows it and I never stopped drawing it every year#Anyway my all fandoms at once multifandom era is at full force now ig! What a time to be alive!#Or more like “I'm not bound to one fandom” thing but less angry and provocative than before#More like “I'm not bound to one fandom! :D” amd then just ever so casually checking on whatever I want#Bc sadly every time I join one fully I become so obsessed with people around me being happy from stuff I make it's insane#I hate losing myself like that! Sure it's making me happy! But I'm not so happy after a while#Like the “will they stop talking to me if I stop doing this?” every time if a bit... Annoying??? REALLY annoying???#Like sure anxiety and fear of whatever I know that but like. The 'WELL FINE" and then I go the 180° and enjoy whatever I like#The horrible mix is when both co-exist so you'll have me be pleasant and yet talk a LOT about this absurd silly guy#While ignoring that I'm speaking to a wall at that point#Anyway#What I wanted to say is!#This thing is still real like I know some people like reading ramblings like these for the fandoms#So idk you can't force a ramble... You can trigger it though!#Like I usually start rambling seeing same things over and over amd specific scenes make me go 'hm' and ramble#A LOT. Like at this point my bio should include “rambles a lot”

I got this idea from tt ❤️
Scene from the titanic with Rafayel 🐡.
Enjoy!
TW: Smut

Rafayel carefully lifted the glittering necklace, the diamonds catching the moonlight spilling in through the balcony doors. He held it up, watching the gems refract the light into a dazzling display of color.
"Whew, that's nice! What is it a sapphire? It's stunning," he murmured, admiring the way the deep blue stones seemed to hold the vast expanse of the night sky within their depths. "Your grandmother had impeccable taste."
"It's a diamond, a very rare diamond" you say licking your lips nervously.
Rafayel's brow furrowed slightly as he examined the necklace more closely, he leaned in, bringing the glittering pendant closer to his eyes.
"Rafayel, I want you to draw me wearing this." He was still examining the necklace intently "alright" he said, then you added, "wearing only this." At those words, Rafayel's head snapped up and he turned to look at you, his cheeks flushed slightly at the bold suggestion, not quite expecting such forwardness but the idea sent a thrill through him nonetheless.
He swallowed thickly, his gaze roaming over you as he tried to picture it, the way the diamond necklace would sparkle against your bare skin, drawing the eye to all the right places. The sheer audacity of the image made his heart race. He licked his lips, a flicker of desire sparking in his eyes as he met your gaze.
"I...I suppose I could draw you like that. If you're certain that's what you want," he breathed, anticipation warring in his expression. The cool night air seemed to crackle with a sudden charge of tension. "Shall I...shall I start setting up my easel?"
Minutes felt like hours as he waited, heart pounding in his chest. Rafayel busied himself with setting up his easel and sketching supplies. Finally, he heard the soft patter of your footsteps on the plush carpet, drawing closer. Rafayel gripped his charcoal pencil tighter, palms suddenly clammy with a mix of nerves and excitement.
Then, there you were. Standing before him in nothing but that sinful black robe, the sheer fabric clinging to your curves and leaving little to the imagination. The diamond necklace glimmered brilliantly against your skin, drawing his gaze to the elegant column of your throat and the swell of your...
Rafayel swallowed hard, eyes widening as he took in the glorious sight. His pencil trembled slightly in his fingertips. Rafayel's eyes flicked down to your fingers as they played with the belt of your robe, the silky black fabric swishing and swaying with the motion. He smiled, a playful glint entering his gaze.
You take a few steps closer to Rafayel, clutching the black robe tightly around you. "The last thing I need is another picture of me looking like a porcelain doll" you say with a wry smile, holding out your free hand to dangle a quarter between your fingers. You toss the quarter towards Rafayel, the small coin glinting as it spins through the air. It lands in his palm with a soft clink. "As a paying customer," you say, your voice taking on a playful yet commanding tone, "I expect to get what I want." Rafayel catches the coin deftly, a slow grin spreading across his face as he pockets it.
You take a few steps back, heart pounding as you meet Rafayel's gaze. With a deep breath, you slowly untie your robe, the fabric falling open. A fierce blush spreads across your cheeks as you shrug the robe off your shoulders completely, letting it slip down to pool at your feet. You stand before him now, bare and exposed, the glittering necklace the only thing adorning your body. Your eyes shine with a mix of nerves and anticipation as you await Rafayel's reaction, your skin tingling under his heated gaze.
His gaze moves over your newly bared skin, his eyes widening as they drink in every curve and contour. His breathing grows heavier, lips parting slightly as if to speak, but no words come. Instead, he simply stares, utterly transfixed by the breathtaking sight before him. Slowly, almost reverently, he raises his hands, pencil poised over the paper. His fingers tremble slightly, a mix of nerves and barely restrained desire. His eyes meet yours, and in their dark purple pink depths, you see the flames of his desire burning bright. He swallows hard, his voice slightly strained as he points a shaking hand towards the couch. His words come out in a stutter "O-over the bed...the couch" he manages to say, Adam's apple bobbing as he tries to regain his composure.
You walk towards the couch, the plush carpet soft beneath your bare feet. As you approach, Rafayel watches your every step, his gaze lingering on the sway of your hips and the graceful line of your back. You can feel the weight of his stare, the intensity of his focus.
Reaching the couch, you hesitate for a moment before lying down on the supple leather, the cool material a shock against your heated skin. You settle your weight onto the cushions, trying to find a comfortable position.
Rafayel sits in his chair across from you, sketchbook and pencil at the ready. He looks up at you, a nervous smile playing at the corners of his mouth. "Go ahead and lie down" he instructs softly, his voice slightly husky.
As you settle onto your side on the couch, Rafayel watches intently, he notices your arm moving above your head before lowering, and he quickly corrects you. "Put your arm back the way it was," Rafayel instructs, his voice gentle yet firm. His eyes remain fixed on your naked form, drinking in every detail. "and lift your other arm, place your hand by your face. Like this" he demonstrates with his own hand, bringing it up to cradle his cheek, mirroring the pose he wants you to take.
His eyes follow the line of your body, taking in the graceful curve of your neck as you lower your head and meet his gaze. "Head down, eyes to me", he murmurs, his voice low and focused. "Keep them on me and try to stay still". You can't keep the smile off your face, but you clear your throat to try, the sound is soft and playful.
The pose accentuates your curves in a way that makes Rafayel's heart race. He takes a deep breath, trying to steady his hand as he begins to sketch. his brow furrows in concentration, tongue poking slightly out the side of his mouth. He is utterly focused, the very picture of an artist lost in his craft.
Despite his intensity, a grin remains plastered on your face, amused by his serious demeanor. After a few moments, you can't help but tease him.
"So serious" you pout playfully, trying to keep your voice light.
"Not a word" there is a hint of a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. He sets down his pencil for a moment, crossing his arms over his chest. "I'm trying to work here"
He mimics your grin, but his expression quickly returns to one of stone-cold focus. "I'll have you know, art requires a great deal of...concentration." He draws out the last word, eyes glinting with a mix of intensity and playfulness.
"Now, hold still" Rafayel commands, picking his pencil back up and returning to his artwork. His gaze drops back to the paper, but you can see the faint blush coloring his cheeks, betraying his attempt to maintain his serious facade.
"I believe you are blushing Mr Big Artiste, I can't imagine Monsieur Monet blushing".
Rafayel chuckles softly, a genuine smile breaking through his serious facade at your playful jab. He shakes his head, a wry grin playing on his lips.
"No, I believe Monet preferred landscapes" he responds, a note of amusement in his voice. "I, on the other hand, have a more...specialized interest." His gaze drags over your naked form appreciatively "Just relax your face," he instructs, his voice low and calm. "No laughing"
"Sorry"
Rafayel watches as you take a deep breath, trying to compose yourself and still the playful grin that threatens to spread across your face. He nods approvingly as he sees your expression smooth out, the laughter fading from your eyes.
"That's better," his voice low and serious. "Just like that. Stay relaxed and keep your eyes on me."
Rafayel continues drawing, his hand moving with practiced ease across the paper. Strands of his dark hair slip down his forehead as he leans over the sketchbook. He absently swipes at them with the back of his smudged hand, not wanting anything to distract from his intense focus on capturing your form. His eyes remain fixed on you, gaze roaming over every curve and contour, committing each detail to memory. The only sounds in the room are the soft scratching of the pencil against the paper and the occasional rustle of fabric as Rafayel shifts slightly in his seat.
He works diligently, pouring his concentration and skill into the portrait, determined to do justice to the breathtaking subject before him. The air between you feels charged, heavy with a mix of artistic intensity and unspoken desire. He leans back in his chair, squinting at the portrait as he makes a few final adjustments with his pencil. "Almost...done" he murmurs to himself, a hint of satisfaction in his voice. "Just a few more..."
Lost in his artistic work, Rafayel doesn't immediately notice as you sit up and swing your legs over the side of the couch. Standing up, you wrap the robe around your waist and tie it tightly, the cool material a soothing contrast against your skin. Your hair falls in waves around your face and shoulders. He remains oblivious to the changes, still hunched over his sketchbook, his world narrowed down to the delicate shading and line work before him.
As you step behind Rafayel, you lean over his shoulder to peek at the sketchbook. Your eyes widen as you take in the breathtaking sight of your naked form captured in bold charcoal strokes. The portrait is incredibly lifelike, from the curve of your hip to the swell of your breast, every detail meticulously rendered. You can't help but feel a thrill of excitement and a hint of embarrassment at seeing yourself laid bare in this way. The portrait is intensely intimate, a testament to the connection and desire that exists between you and Rafayel. Your breasts press softly against his back, the warmth of your skin seeping through the thin silk of his shirt. The scent of your perfume fills his nostrils, a heady mix of your natural fragrance and the faint aroma of the robe. He sets down his pencil with a soft clink, finally done. With a satisfied nod, he closes the leather folder containing your portrait. As you reach out to take the sketchbook from his hands, your fingers brush against his, a spark of electricity passing between you at the contact. Rafayel's eyes meet yours as he passes you the artwork, his gaze intense and filled with a swirling mix of emotions.
You find yourself drawn in by the depth of his eyes, unable to resist any longer, you lean in, closing the distance between you. Your lips meet in a soft, tender kiss.
The moment your lips connect, it's as if a dam bursts open inside you. Rafayel's lips are soft and warm against yours, moving with a desperate hunger that mirrors your own. His hands come up to cup your face, long fingers threading through your hair as he pulls you closer, deepening the kiss. Your own hands grip the leather folder tightly, the sketchbook a forgotten afterthought as you lose yourself in the sensation of Rafayel's lips on yours. His eyes never leave yours as he takes the sketchbook from your hands. He sets it down carefully on the small table nearby.
As Rafayel straightens up, his gaze remains locked with yours, the heat and intensity in his eyes growing with each passing second. Mustering up the courage, you reach up with trembling fingers and slowly untie the sash of your robe. The black silk slips from your fingers, falling open to reveal the creamy skin beneath. With deliberate slowness, you shrug the robe off your shoulders.
He just saw you naked, captured every curve. But seeing, and feeling, are two very different things. His hands twitch at his sides, aching to touch your body with his fingers and explore the textures he has only imagined until now. As the robe falls away, Rafayel's eyes drink in the sight of you, he takes a step closer to you, reaching out a tentative hand, fingers hovering just above the swell of your breast. The heat of his touch is palpable, though he has not yet made contact.
His breath catches in his throat as you take his hand and press it firmly against the soft, warm skin of your breast. Your skin is incredibly soft and pliant beneath his fingertips. "Touch me, Rafayel" you whisper. Your eyes blaze into his, a silent plea for him to explore, to claim, to take what he so desperately wants.
Rafayel's hand molds around the supple flesh, fingers sinking into the giving softness as he squeezes gently. His thumb finds your nipple, brushing over the sensitive peak and feeling it pebble beneath his touch, he swallows hard, his heart pounding in his chest as he savors the feel of you beneath his palm. His other hand comes up to cup your face, tilting your chin up as he leans in to capture your lips in a kiss. His lips move over yours with a newfound sense of urgency, a desperate hunger that threatens to consume you both. He walks you backwards until your back hits the wall, the cool surface a shock against your heated skin. Breaking the kiss, Rafayel's lips trail down the column of your throat, his tongue flicking out to taste the salt on your skin. He nips and sucks at the tender flesh, marking you as his own as his hands map the curves of your body. You pull Rafayel towards the couch, your fingers entwined with his as you guide him to sit down. Straddling his lap, you drape your naked form over him, the heat of your bare skin seeping through his shirt.
His hands settle on your hips, gripping you firmly as he gazes up at you with a mix of awe and desire. His eyes roam over your naked breasts, taking in the tantalizing sight of them mere inches from his face. "Cutie" he breathes, his voice rough with desire. "You're...beautiful and I want to touch every inch of you" His hands slide up your sides, skimming over your ribs and over the soft swell of your breasts. His thumbs brush over your nipples, teasing the sensitive peaks until they strain towards his touch. He leans in, his lips trailing over the valley between your breasts. He presses open-mouthed kisses along the soft skin, his tongue flicking out to taste you. As he kisses, he takes your nipple into his mouth, suckling gently as his hand kneads the pliant flesh. You gasp at the sensation, your fingers threading through Rafayel's hair as you hold him to your breast. The feeling of his mouth on your sensitive skin is exquisite, sending jolts of pleasure straight to your core.
Your fingers find his belt, quickly unbuckling it with deft movements. He lifts his hips slightly, helping you tug his pants and underwear down over his muscular thighs, freeing his hard, aching cock. It springs up, long and thick and already leaking at the tip. Rafayel's breath catches as your fingers wrap around his shaft, stroking him slowly from base to tip. The skin is silky soft and hot to the touch, throbbing with a life of its own. His hands grip your hips tighter, fingers digging into the flesh of your ass as you work your hand over his cock. He watches, enraptured, as you pump him slowly, his eyes darkening with lust.
"Miss bodyguard," he grits out, his voice strained with pleasure. "If...if you keep touching me like that...I won't last long." His hips twitch upwards, seeking more of your touch, more of your heat.
Slowly, torturously so, you begin to lower yourself onto his shaft. The head of his cock pushes against your entrance, the thick tip parting your folds as you sink down inch by inch. Rafayel's eyes flutter closed, a low groan escaping his lips as your tight heat envelops him. He is so big, stretching you in a way that is almost too much to bear. But you don't stop, don't relent, until you are fully seated on his lap, his cock buried to the hilt inside you. You can feel every throbbing inch of him pulsing deep within your core, filling and completing you in a way that makes your heart ache with a fierce, primal joy.
His eyes snap open, his gaze immediately drawn to the mesmerizing sight of your breasts bouncing gently as you begin to ride him. The delicate necklace you wear catches the light, the gem glinting brilliantly against your flushed skin with each roll of your hips. You can feel the heat of his gaze burning into you, the intensity of his desire a palpable force that makes your skin prickle with goosebumps.
The room fills with the sounds of skin against skin, the creaking of the couch beneath you, and the harsh pants and moans of your shared pleasure. Rafayel guides your movements, urging you to take more of him with each thrust.
"Beautiful, God, you're so fucking beautiful. The way you move, the way you feel...it's incredible." His hips surge upwards to meet your downward movements, driving his hard cock deeper into you. The pleasure is overwhelming, the feeling of your walls gripping him is almost too much to bear.
"You're perfect, the way you take me, the way your body accepts mine...it's like you were made for this, made for me."
Rafayel leans in, capturing one of your bouncing nipples in his mouth. He suckles hard, his tongue swirling around the sensitive peak as his hand kneads your other breast roughly. His other hand slides down to rub at your clit, his fingers circling the swollen nub and sending jolts of pleasure shooting through your veins. As he looks down, his eyes widen at the erotic sight of your pussy swallowing his cock whole, a milky ring of your arousal clinging to the base of his shaft with each thrust. The intimate image sends a surge of lust coursing through his veins, pushing him closer to the edge.
"Oh fuck, y/n!" he cries out, his voice echoing off the walls as he throws his head back in pleasure. "I...I'm almost cumming. Your pussy feels too fucking good, it's...ungh...it's incredible."
His hands move, fingers dig into the soft flesh just below your bouncing breasts as he grips your waist tightly. His hips surge upwards, driving into you with a newfound urgency as he feels his climax approaching rapidly. As your fingers find your clit and rub the sensitive nub hard and fast, Rafayel lets out a moan, his body tensing beneath you. The sight of you touching yourself, lost in your own pleasure, pushes him over the edge.
"Ah, fuck!!" he moans, his cock pulsing and throbbing inside you as he begins to cum. Thick ropes of hot seed erupt from his shaft, painting your inner walls white. The feeling of Rafayel's release, combined with your own frantic rubbing, sends you hurtling towards your own peak. Your body stiffens, back arching as a wave of ecstasy crashes over you. "Yes, Raf! Yes! I'm cumming, I'm cumming!" you scream, your voice joining with his in a symphony of shared bliss. Your pussy clenches around him rhythmically, milking his cock for every last drop as your climax consumes you both.
Rafayel looks up at you with a satisfied, almost lazy grin. His eyes are still clouded with bliss, but there's a mischievous glint in their depths that speaks to the depraved thoughts already swirling in his mind.
"Next time..," he murmurs, his voice low and rough from the intensity of his release. "Next time, I'm going to draw you just like this, your naked body splayed out before me, my cum dripping from your well fucked pussy. I want to capture the way your skin glistens with a sheen of sweat, the way your breasts heave with each ragged breath. And I'll make sure to emphasize every delicious detail , the way your thighs tremble from the force of your climax, the way your pussy lips are swollen and sensitive from the thorough fucking I've just given you. I want you to be able to feel the ghost of my touch on the paper, to trace the lines of the drawing with your fingers and remember the way I felt inside you"

Sleepover, part 2. (Fragment)
- What do you need to have a sleepover?-
Grayson blinked a few times at the question. Diverting his attention from the television, he fixed it on the 10 years old girl, who was looking at him with the greatest seriousness in the world.
- What did you say, Dami?-
Annoyed by how distracted her older brother was, Damiana crossed her arms and pouted.
- What do you need to have a sleepover?- She asked again, drawing the attention of the other two boys in the room.
- Woah, woah, woah.- Jason muted the television.- Is the demon princess going to have a sleepover?-
- Ha!- Tim laughed, pointing a finger at her.- To have a sleepover you need friends!-
- Tt, that's covered.- She said, looking disinterestedly at Drake.
The three brothers stared at the news for a moment and reacted differently.
- Since when are you able to socialize with someone without breaking their face?-
- You blackmailed someone, right? Or possibly you threatened them, right? Oh, oh! Surely they are part of a gang, right? That, or they have a possible mental disability.-
- Oh, Dami!- Dick, unlike the other two, took the infant in his arms and hugged her tightly.- You're finally going to bring girl friends home! I am so happy!-
- Enough.- No matter how much time had passed, she still couldn't stand being hugged and having her cheeks rubbed against those of others.- They're not girls.-
- WHAT!?- They yelled at the same time, so stunned that even Richard let go of her.
And immediately the scolding, lectures and threats began.
- YOU CAN'T BRING BOYS IN THE HOUSE!- Jason yelled at her.- BOYS AND GIRLS DON'T HAVE SLEEPOVERS TOGETHER!-
- Drake has sleepovers with Brown, Cain and his stupid boyfriend Konnor!- The girl replied.- So your aphorism has no foundation.-
- HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT CONNER IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND, AND THAT HE IS NOT CALLED THAT?-
The little girl rolled her eyes, she had her suspicions but she wasn't going to waste time arguing with Tim.
- Whatever.-

~*~DELETED SCENE~*~
Taking advantage of the fact that the Demon Princess wasn't there, the three plotted their evil plans.
- All right, guys. First things first: No bottles.- Dick warned them.
- That will be difficult, remember that soft drinks come in bottles.-
- Well, we drink them, what a problem.- Jason answered.
- Don't be silly, we can make Alfred empty the sodas in jars, or buy canned ones. It's that simple.-
- What if someone wants juice, Replacement? That also comes in bottles.-
- So buy those that are in tetrapack.-
- More than a sleepover, it looks like a preschool meeting. The Demon Princess is going to get very angry.-
- I don't care.- Grayson said very seriously, making the other two see him.- I don't care if Dami doesn't speak to me again for the rest of my life, I won't allow a brat to take her by the hand and give her her first kiss. NOBODY!-

Sarah Christ Lore
Sarah Christ, ex detective, where were you Novemeber 16th 1996!?
Totally my most favorite Smosh character, if not her then Mr. Grub.
I just keep her lore in the back of my mind, like how she has a son who drew the creek side killer for her, a daughter who never sees her because she's always busy (although, they recently made up in Bit City) who's close to her dad who's a conspiracy theorist, named (Redacted), whom we met in the couple therapy video and Noah's funeral. But it seems she also has an ex husband? Coz she says she's been divorced multiple times. The ex husband can't possibly be (Redacted) coz she seemed to want to be sexually involved with him when she said "eat my ass. FOR ONCE!" in a funeral of one of her suspects, there's also the couple therapy where she seemed to care about him a lot. Oh, she also had a thing with the Chosen. I would love to interview this ex detective at some point to get some news on her progress in finding the Creekside Killer. I heard she recently got a clue on who it could be in one of her jobs helping Angela find her workmates in a hide and seek video. But it just turned out to be Marcus, and Angela said it couldn't be canon that Marcus is the Creekside Killer. Bummer. Please call the tipline if you ever have information on the Creekside Killer
Took a while to finish and it's funny how this was supposed to be a redraw of one of my traditional sketches but I end up not using any of it because there were better scenes in the recent videos that I wanted to draw lol I love smosh so much TT please give us more Dread videoss

i am FERAL for the royal au and i am curious, what is neil and andrew's first kiss like in this au? all the art you drew is giving me thinky thoughts
[The thinky thoughts art in question] and THANK YOU for this ask!! (sorry about making u feral pls take care 🙏)
I don’t even remember how the scene idea came to me but I do remember thinking that royal au andreil first kiss would in fact be pretty different than canon only because Andrew, knowing Abram’s had bad experiences with touch beyond violence (I believe unlike canon), would somehow be even more careful about how he approached it (coming from the one “I want to see you lose control” is directed at. Impressive)
And also we’re in the middle of these two’s fun game of “is he trying to court me or am I making inappropriate assumptions” so that’s super cool and fun TT
Anyway read it here and have a little taster (but first go look at @astridsbirdskulls drawing of their kiss bc it’s SO sweet omg)

Find the royal au masterpost here 💕
#mmm there’s a high possibility of lots of misunderstandings here#in the whole courting business#we’ll get it ironed out eventually#both what exactly the courting looks like and how the boys handle misunderstandings#gonna get them their happy ending stg#for now. they can be soft with each other regardless of courting status#but what’s this#an excuse to draw more kisses?#don’t mind if I do#anyway#my art#fan art#my writing#aftg#all for the game#neil josten#andrew minyard#andreil#asks#royal au

You’re scenarios for parent Pigsy were really fun 🤩
If you take requests could you make something similar for ShadowJadePeach (Macaque, Wukong, and Nüwa) being parents (or at least awkward step-parent in Macaque’s case) to MK (and maybe Bai He (LBD’s host)).
Please 🙏😊
I would love to! Lets go!
Macaque, Wukong, and Nuwa trying to be parents to MK( plus Bai He)
List:
Macaque and Wukong deal with all their issues, while trying to MK from going Apeshit.
Nuwa thinks she understand humans, because she made them, she doesent
"Nuwa, Wukong and Macaque babysitting Bai He and MK"
The scenarios are mostly silly little stories of them trying to be good parental figures or scenarios that could possibly happen in season 5.
Also, if anyone wanna draw or use any of the scenarios in any way, im completly happy with that! Just tag me, so i can reblog it and love it forever :)
Scenario 1: "Macaque and Wukong deal with all their issues, while trying to stop MK from going Apeshit"
This is acutally something, i think, could happen in the show.
So, Macaque and Wukong are trying to deal with all their past issues(which there is a lot of). And tts not going great though, and they end up having an argument again.
Suddenly MK steps into the room. He is really struggling with all the "mystic monkey busniess" going on in his life, so he thinks talking with the "mystic monkeys" would help.
Problem is, Wukong and Macaque are too mad eachother to do anthing to help, other than making it worse soooo. MK just leaves, now having it even worse with his "monkey fate", since earlier he had a small fight with Mei. Nothing big, but with Macaque and Wukong fighting, and them being an awfully lot like him and Mei, he is starting to get scared that they will end up like them. And that he will end up hurting Mei.
So in the middle of MK having this chrisis, a sort of Steven Universe future panic(if you know the refernce), Wukong and Macaque finally come to their senses and reailise something very important. To help MK, they have to understand what went wrong with them, so MK and Mei dont end up on the same road.
And in that way, we get the "Macaque and Wukong backstory" :D
Scenario 2: " Nuwa thinks she understand humans, because she made them, she doesent"
One day, MK goes to pick up Bai He from school(big brother and little sister vibes). Sadly it starts raining(a lot), so they cant get home. (Kinda like this scene from my neighbor Tortoro).
Nuwa sees this and picks them up, where she is then thanked and told that they quickly have to get Bai He home, before her parents get too worried.
But instead of just driving a little bit faster Nuwa goes almost full GOD MODE, and drives faster than fucking Wukong on his cloud. They almost drive several people over, several cars crash into eachother because of it, and a lot of people have gained new trauma because of it.
The kids are screaming, yet Nuwa just interepts this as to go FASTER.
They make it to Bai He's home, safe and sound, but lets just say that MK and Bai He are just gonna wait next time it rains that much.
(The reason MK didnt use his staff? He forgot)
Scenario 3: "Nuwa, Wukong and Macaque babysitting Bai He and MK"
Pigsy was supposed to take care of Bai He, because her parents were doing something that day, but something came up. And MK cant do it, because he accdently broke one of his legs, and Pigsy doesent wanna push him too much because of it.
And since neither Mei, Tang, Sandy or any resbonibly adult he knows, can help, he calls Nuwa, Wukong and Macaque.
The little trio sees this as a great possibilty to get closer to the kids, but its gets a biiiit chaotic with the following things happening:
Macaque gets a bit jelaous, and tries to train MK a bit, yet this ends in MK breaking his arm too(dont ask, neither of them dont know how it happend)
Bai He asks Nuwa if she can help her with her homework. This though ends up in Nuwa crying over Math homework.
Wukong tries to cook some food, but gets too cocky, and ends up making litteral poison, that could kill a god.
Dont worry, they order some Pizza, put on a show and they actually have quite a nice time after that.
Pigsy just finds them sleeping together on the couch, and suspects nothing. (though he was surprised the house wasnt burned down)

What do we know, or can infer from the text, about the involvement of Háma, Elfhelm, or maybe even Erkenbrand from afar in the West, in the resistance to Gríma's influence at the court?
I think this requires a lot more “inferring” than “knowing,” but there is some info to go on that lets me draw 3 big conclusions, which are below along with some textual evidence for each. Most of it is about Háma because he’s the most prominent of these 3 in the story, but I’ve got something for everyone!
They understood that Gríma was a piece of shit, and they didn’t like the influence he had over Théoden. It says that (in nicer words) in an appendix of UT, where Tolkien notes that Gríma’s practice of issuing orders in Théoden’s name to Háma and Elfhelm “was resented.” We also see several instances in TT where Háma’s poor opinion of Gríma seems evident. He has Gríma hauled out of Meduseld “cringing between two other men” at nearly his first chance after Théoden’s healing, and he minces no words in telling Théoden that Gríma has been a thief and a sneak. It gives me a big sense of “FINALLY, I get to speak the truth about this guy and see him get what he deserves.” He also subtly disparages Gríma on the way to Helm’s Deep when another soldier tells him that Gríma would have an explanation for Gandalf’s seemingly odd behavior, and Háma responds by essentially saying, “True, but I don’t care what Gríma thinks. I trust Gandalf.”
Despite the fact that they didn’t like Gríma and viewed his influence as highly suspect, as long as Gríma operated through the authority of the king himself then no one felt empowered to directly defy him. That same quote in UT about Háma and Elfhelm resenting receiving Théoden’s orders through Gríma also says that the orders “were obeyed, within Edoras.” And this does make sense. Théoden wasn’t absent from the scene — he gave authority to Gríma, and that makes Gríma’s authority an extension of Théoden’s own. Directly defying an order from your king is a Big Deal. No one wants to do it, both from inherent loyalty to Théoden and because, obviously, it’s super risky. In TT, Háma gets demoted for walking too close to that line, and Éomer describes breaking a king’s order as something that might cost him his life (and he does, in fact, get jailed after doing it). So that’s an absolute last resort.
The fact that they wouldn’t directly contravene the word of Théoden/Gríma doesn’t mean that they did nothing. Instead, they worked AROUND Gríma when possible, undertaking things on their own initiative that were contrary to his intentions but that they could argue hadn’t been expressly forbidden. Examples of that include:
—Per UT: In light of the harrowing situation in Edoras, Théodred “assumed without orders” the general command of the defense of Rohan and, in this role, issued orders to Elfhelm to bring men to the Fords and resist the invasion of Isengard. Not only is Théodred acting without orders here, but so is Elfhelm because Théodred is not his boss. Elfhelm’s men are the KING’S OWN MEN, attached to the role of First Marshal, and Théodred, as Second Marshal, has no inherent right to command them. But Elfhelm CHOOSES to follow the order because he knows that it’s a good one and that a defense of the western border is needed even if Théoden and Gríma have taken no steps to accomplish it.
—Also on the I’m Taking Control Because It Needs To Be Done train is Erkenbrand, who UT notes took over military command in the West after Théodred’s death, “again without orders from Edoras,” so that Théoden and Gríma’s lack of action didn’t lead to even further disaster for Rohan.
—Most famously, we see Háma’s parsing of words around the directive not to permit weapons into Meduseld. He clearly acknowledges the alleged danger posed by Gandalf’s staff and so he clearly knows that he SHOULD deny Gandalf entry as long as he has the staff with him. But he also clearly wants to let him in with it and knows that Gandalf will only use the staff for good purposes, and so he decides to rely on the idea of the staff as a “prop for age” to muddy the waters enough that he can make his own judgment to let it in — the legendary “in doubt a man of worth will trust to his own wisdom” moment. He also chooses to rearm Éomer even though no one has ordered him to do that. It surprises Théoden (“how comes this?”), but Háma did it because he knows Éomer will further help get them out this bad situation.
So those are my big conclusions, with a bit of my sourcing for where/how I reached them. These guys were all in a really difficult situation, with a king who was clearly off the rails and a counselor who they knew to be corruptive but they couldn’t PROVE that. So if they couldn’t get rid of Gríma, the choices were to go full Treason Mode and defy Théoden’s direct orders or instead resist in more subtle ways by stretching roles and definitions and practices to fit what they knew needed to be done but without blatant insubordination. And so that’s what they did.
How does that sound to you? Plausible? Are there things anyone thinks that I missed? I’m always happy to hear the views of others! And thanks for the question and the opportunity to think more about 3 very cool dudes!

Day 8! How are we a week in already? Today we're back in Birds Make the Best Friends
@maribatserver
“Hey Dami, have you seen my sweater? I could've sworn I had it last night,” Marinette asked, frowning as she looked under the cushions and sofas. The kid snorted and Marinette glanced up at him from where she was crouching. “Is that a yes?”
“Tt, Drake has it, I believe,” Damian said gleefully, twirling the sword he had been practicing with expertly. Marinette frowned harder and squinted suspiciously at the door she had just come through. It was true that she hadn't seen Tim in a couple of hours but she had been pretty clear about how that sweater was hers and she would punish him severely if he took it.
“Right…thanks,” she muttered, making her way to Tim's room. When she didn't find him there, she mentally ran through the rooms she had already been in and headed to the closest drawing room that Tim enjoyed spending his downtime in.
She slipped into the room and stopped dead because- yep! There the little rat was, snuggled up in her Multimouse sweater. He had commented on liking it several times but she had made him one with his own superhero persona on it so she had assumed it was safe.
“Tim, why are you wearing my sweater?” Marinette shrieked, tackling him onto the floor. He gave a muffled yelp and tried to scoot away from her, hands scrambling as she yanked on his legs. “I made you your own Red Robin one! Why do you need to steal mine?”
“Mine got coffee on it, I didn't think you'd mind,” he whined, still trying to get away. Marinette sat on his feet and glowered at him.
“You absolutely knew I'd mind,” she said, smacking him in the stomach. “You can't just take my stuff! Especially the stuff I make for me! God, Tim, you have other clothes-”
“But nothing as comfy as what you make,” he said petulantly, trying to shove her off of him. “You weren't using it!”
“And now I can't because you're wearing it,” she snarked, reaching up to try pull at his hair. He yelped again and tried to swat her away but had to settle on grabbing her wrists instead.
They continued to wrestle for dominance, Marinette with a clear advantage as she was spitting mad, until someone lifted her up and away. She gave a mouse-like squeak and twisted in the grip to try and free herself. She gave a growl when Tim cackled victoriously but she still wasn't dropped so she was stuck.
“What is going on in here?” Bruce demanded, immediately making Marinette feel guilty. She opened her mouth to blame Tim but he was quicker at the draw.
“Marinette went crazy and jumped on me! I was just trying to stop her pulling my hair,” he said, bottom lip jutting out. Marinette screeched and tried harder to get loose and start hitting him again but Bruce sighed and moved her behind him.
“You're both practically adults, I shouldn't be breaking up fistfights in my home,” he said, disappointment thick in his voice. “Alright, so that's Tim's side of things. Mari?”
“He stole my clothes!” She blurted, trying to think of a way to get Bruce on her side. He gave her a look of disbelief, like he couldn't see how a stolen sweater would lead to the scene he'd walked in on. “I made it for me, not to mention he has his own!”
“Marinette, it really isn't quite the same thing-”
“Of course you would take his side,” she said in an injured voice, pouting. Bruce sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, putting her down in the process. A rookie mistake as she took the opportunity to throw herself at Tim again, fists flying.
_ _ _
Several hours later, Marinette had her sweater back and Tim felt nettled. It had taken longer than he would ever admit to get her off of him when she had managed to attack again, even with Bruce's help.
They still hadn't said anything else to each other and Marinette was scribbling in one of her sketchbooks. He refused to be the first one to speak because then she would win. So they continued to sit in annoyed silence, her with her pencil and sketchbook and him with his tablet.
“Have you two sorted out your differences yet?” Bruce said from the doorway, frowning at them. Tim glanced at Marinette and they came to a silent agreement that this was between the two of them, so they nodded. He was visibly relieved and nodded back at them. “Good, don't let me catch you fighting like that again, please.”
He left and they returned to their silent working, although Tim did glance up at her to gauge her mood. She was snuggled down in her sweater, moving the sketchbook around occasionally and adding seemingly random lines every now and then.
“I see you retrieved your clothes. And without drawing blood, I am highly disappointed,” Damian said, coming into the room and sitting next to Marinette.
“You didn't give me the sword when you sent me after him,” she replied absently, grinning at Tim when he made an affronted noise. “You can't tell me you're surprised that Damian ratted you out.”
“No, but I can be upset that you would have brought a weapon into it!” He exclaimed, glaring at his little brother when he smirked. “See if I help you any time soon, gremlin. You're my brother, not hers.”
“Tt, that is probably why I prefer her to you,” Damian sniffed, peering over Marinette's shoulder. “You are designing something new? Does that mean my new jacket is complete already?”
“Mostly, I'm just waiting for the kevlar infused fabric to arrive,” she agreed, grabbing her phone and showing Damian something on it. He nodded in approval at whatever he saw and Tim scowled at having to share his best friend.
“Are you making yourself a new sweater then? I agree, once the pretender has worn something of yours it is best to burn and replace it as soon as possible.”
“Hey-”
“No, I'm making him a matching one since he's such a crybaby about it,” she said, laughing when Tim jumped up and grabbed the book from her hands. And if he knocked Damian slightly as he did so, well that was just a bonus. “It'll be slightly different, mind you, so I can tell them apart. Yours will have a robin on the sleeve so you have no excuse for stealing mine again.”
Damian shouted in outrage as Tim hugged Marinette in excitement, the only warning he got before the little beast pulled a knife and pricked him with it. He yelped and jumped away, scowling at Marinette as she laughed at the pair of them.

A View for a Kill
- Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x Bucky Barnes
- Summary: The Black Widow is going on a mission with... a partner?
- Trigger warning: none in this
"You ever failed a mission before?"
He was a rookie, questions are common with them but this one caught Natalia by surprise.
"What do you mean?"
She gave him a cold stare, the one you never knew could be true until it sets his sight on you.
"I mean, you're a legend and everyone knows that but-"
"But?" she stops him mid sentence, her stare getting colder, sign that her patience was up.
"You know what forget it. I'm going in."
The kid was annoying but good, Natalia knew that from the get go.
Joined the male trial of the Black Widow program at age 17, ready for field duty at 20 and now partner to the legendary Black Widow at 22.
If operatives could make mistakes that wasn't the case of Department X, if they thought the kid was good then he was.
"Widow I? Wolf Echo is on position, what are you waiting for?"
The voice woke her up from her thoughts, she was still in the elevator and the kid was already close to the target.
"Roger that, I'm joining him", she said.
Nothing special about this mission except her having a partner.
The target was an American diplomat by the name Frank Hudson suspected of exploiting his position to extract information on Soviet soil.
A trivial mission for someone like her but everything happened so fast.
"Widow, I might steal you the spotlight on this one."
The target had a meeting at the Cosmos Hotel, in Moscow.
With 1,777 rooms, the hotel was a perfect location for almost everything.
Three persons in room 54, second floor, including Hudson, no need for more than one of the Red Room operative for that but the instructions were clear:
"We need to see if he's ready".
As soon as she got closer to the door she could see in the kid' eyes an unusual excitment, like a child knowing he's about to enter a candy store.
"Did you checked everything?" Widow said.
"Yes. Our three men had enter the room an hour ago, I took the time to check their reservations, they had an order 20 minutes ago and two cameras were placed yesterday, no sign of any firearms or weapons of any kind.
Just a meeting."
"He was good." she thought
Both drew their TT-30 and got ready to enter but Widow got a feeling that something was off.
Too easy.
"я иду!" exclamed the boy
Natalia's reflexes weren't enough to stop the kid from pushing the door.
"WAIT-"
The door cracked, he entered, weapon in hands, ready to unload.
But then. Nothing.
The room was empty.
Just as Natalia process what was happening she saw two large shadows behind.
No time to think.
She lowered her head and launched a body strike at one of the assailants.
He collapsed as she heard the second, the movement of his arms indicating the positioning of his weapon on her.
She shot him in the knee, and as he clutched it, writhing in pain, he suddenly collapsed under the impact of a bullet to the head fired from the entrance corridor of the room.
"Back!"
The second man, still numb from the initial blow, tried to draw his weapon.
Natalia took his left arm and turned his hand with disconcerting ease.
The man fell to his knees, doubled over in pain. "Who sent you?" Natalia shouted.
The boy was good, but his impulsive shot probably deprived her of more information.
"You... You shouldn't be here..."
He probably was in his mid 40's, tall and muscular, former soldier, a v-shaped scar appeared on his left cheek and his brown eyes easily reflected the fear he felt at the moment.
"What? What do you mean here?" the Widow asked
"It's not about here, that's about him, that's a-"
Another gunshot deprived the floor of silence.
Once in her arm, the man's body feel to the floor.
Lifeless.
The scene happened in seconds but in her head it looked like hours.
"It can't be" she thought
Just as she looked to her right she saw him.
Once smiling and annoying to her, his face was now as cold as the Widow's stare.
"Could he be a double agent?", this was the only question she could think of
But physically, she couldn't move.
His stare, he didn't look himself anymore.
"I guess there's a time for anything and anyone, Widow."
His eyes...
"NATASHA!"
No bang. No hotel room. No blood. No boy.
The voice was James Buchanan Barnes.
He was already sitting in the bed, his hand holding Nat's, his eyes showing nothing but concern.
"James..."
She was sweating and shaking, she never felt that before.
"Was it the Red Room? Did you had these nightmares again ?" James asked.
"I... I'm not sure... James..." she took herself up, still holding his hand as strongly as possible just to feel something warm.
"Can I ask you a question?" Nat said
"Sure, everything you want"
She wasn't sure about it but that's the only thing she had in mind.
*His* eyes still glowing.
"Have you ever failed a mission before?"

Let's talk numbers, shall we?
Thesis: Sydcarmy draws in more viewers. Period.
We can all agree on the fact that The Bear S2 was the most Sydcarmy-friendly of the 2, even with Claire's addition, right? I mean, we can have different interpretations about certain scenes, but we can't deny they happened, i.e.: "I'm saying goodnight" storming out, the panic attack, and the under-the-table scene... etc.
@belassima got me thinking about numbers. I already had the feeling this was the case, but never really did the actual research till now and this is what I found:
Source: Collider.com via Nielsen / June 2023
And those were just preliminary figures in June last year from a week after S2's premiere.
The numbers obviously went up since. Astronomically so.
So it's undeniable, Sydcarmy brought in way more viewers last year than whatever viewers were already watching the show in 2022, because S2 was the most streamed one out of the 2 and it was inarguably the one with more Sydcarmy content out of the two. Full stop.
And that's not even taking into account SM activity. We all know that the #Sydcarmy movement is strong here on Tumblr, it's taking over TT, whereas Reddit and X seem to be 50%/50%, leaning more towards Sydcarmy on X, but only slightly. And YT is full-on Sydcarmy stand territory, although it doesn't really count because the anties do not create video edits of their Anti content, Sydcamy truthers do. So, it's like winning a 1 army war. Unfortunately, I don't have the actual figures, but they are quite easy to get, we just have to track the respective tags and keywords on each platform, I will not be performing such a time-consuming analytics assessment for free, of course. But feel free to jump into it, if you want to, I'd love to have those numbers too.
Conclusion: What's factual is that the Sydcarmy numbers on every platform and on streaming have only gone consistently up year after year since the show premiered in 2022.
IMO: I find it very hard to believe that Storer and/or the network/s don't care about this hard evidence, which is obviously equivalent to REVENUE.
All the major news outlets unanimously back this data up:
Deadline
Variety
IMDb
THR
Source: THR via Nielsen/June 2023
So, I'm tired of arguing from a merely subjective standpoint, whenever you come to me to tell me Sydcarmy is not a thing, etc... SHOW ME THE MONEY!

Unlocked! The Nancy Drew Podcast
Bob Heath | Episode 002
Nov 18, 2016
We've been making transcripts of the various videos on the Her Interactive YouTube channel, and one that will be a continued series is for the official Nancy Drew Podcast up on their channel. They regularly interviewed people involved with the making of these games.
Click on the link above for the podcast itself.
Some notes on the episode:
Bob Heath was the voice actor for Ralph Gardino, Dwayne Powers (STFD), and Joseph Hughes (FIN)
There are spoilers for those games respectively and also Ransom of the Seven Ships
Both Scott Carty (previous episode) and Bob Heath have noted that the voice actors weren't really shown images/drawings/renders/anything in the development of the characters that they voiced.
As voice actors, they also wouldn't get to read the full script.
(Without diving into spoilers for STFD and FIN) it also seems like voice actors wouldn't be given a ton of detail about the characters themselves? Just enough information to build the character from).
Bob also offers some advice to aspiring voice actors.
Tammy Tuckey: Hello, fellow detectives, welcome to Unlocked, the official podcast for all things Nancy Drew. Heads up, there will be spoilers in this episode. I'm your host Tammy Tuckey, and this week we welcome voice over artist Bob Heath to the show. Welcome, Bob.
Bob Heath: Thanks for having me. Hi, everybody. It is a pleasure. So exciting.
TT: As I stated in the beginning of every episode, there are spoilers, and with Bob we have plenty of them because of the characters he has played. So if you have not played Stay Tuned for Danger or The Final Scene, I would just pause the interview right now and go ahead and play those games if you can, and come on right back because we're going to talk a little bit more about the character description and detail from here.
But Bob, it's really exciting. You got to play two different villains in two different games. Did you know this coming in when you were when you first came in? Did they just say, oh, we just want to make you the villain all the time?
BH: Actually, I wish they had said that. They didn't say that. I think when I booked the first one, it was many years ago. [They told me] these are the characters you're gonna play, and I think it was two primary characters and a few characters off on the side if my memory serves correctly, and it was just a lot of fun. Great group of people to work with. And, that's what I liked about it. Then they had me back for the second game. Again, I didn't know going in that I was going to be the villain in that game either. But, it was always a lot of fun to do.
TT: Now let's talk about your beginnings in the entertainment industry. What was one of your first acting jobs or voice over jobs?
BH: Well, that's a great question because I came to this as a second career. I was in the Army for 22 years prior to that. I had done a little bit of broadcast work while I was in the Army as a broadcast officer. And you know, [I did] more TV and radio as opposed to voice-over work. But when I retired and moved to Seattle, I had done some theater, and somebody (I forget who it was) but someone had mentioned to me that I had a “great voice for radio.”
At that time I was doing a lot of industrial work, more in front of the camera work. And I said, well, I'd be interested in giving it a shot. So I took some voice over classes with a woman by the name of Veronica Weikel who I really enjoyed working with, just to see if I had the chops to do it.
They helped develop my voice over demo reel, they produced it, and did a phenomenal job. In fact, I still use it today. I started booking voice over gigs, for Microsoft, Visa, Hewlett, Packard. Then I got offered the chance to audition for this gig. And I guess the rest of the time I was in Seattle, I did, as you know, two of these games plus several others for different companies.
TT: And the first game you worked on with Nancy Drew is Stay Tuned for Danger.
That was their first game in which the characters weren't drawn in an animation style. The first game was Secrets Can Kill, and this was Stay Tuned for Danger. It was the first game where they were digitally animated characters, which was very exciting. And it was, I think, a great feel to it because it's based on a fake soap opera, and the main star, as most of us know, is getting death threats.
TT: And two of the characters you got to play are Dwayne Powers and Ralph Gardino with Stay Tuned for Danger. So you're saying when you came into these roles for Nancy Drew, they would never tell you who it was until the very, very end of the recording sessions?
BH: Well, as I recall. Now, having said that I'm going back 15 or so years. As I recall when I first got booked, they said "you're going to play this character and this character and some of these additional characters," Alright. And I don't remember being told that, "Ohh, by the way, this is the villain of the piece or this is the good guy of the piece." [It's more like] here are these characters. Here's their background. Develop a voice, go for it.
TT: Did they show you images of the characters at all to help you with the development of the voice?
BH: You know, Tammy, that's a great question. I don't remember if they did or not. I don't. I don't recall seeing pictures of the characters. They may have had some, I just don't remember.
TT: Who was your favorite to voice between the two?
BH: Oh, that's an excellent question. Probably Dwayne. Only because once I found out he was the villain, I was able to play with it a little bit more, you know, add a little.
And I'm not doing the voice justice because it's been like I said, many years since I've heard it, but just adding a certain little sinister sense to it, if you will.
So those are always fun to play because [it's a 180 from] my real personality. Well, that's one of the things I like about this business.
When you're doing voice-over in particular you can bring out a lot in a lot of ways, it's a lot like acting in front of the camera. You can bring out different aspects of your personality or you can go with types of personalities that aren't necessarily yours. Embellish upon them and try to bring that character to life.
TT: Did you get to meet any of the cast members during the recording sessions or afterward?
BH: I don't think so. Not that I remember because I think I share with you that it was one of the first animation projects I did and it always has stayed with me as a very special time.
TT: And before we talked, I kind of explained that Dwayne does make a reappearance in Ransom of the Seven Seas. You said that you relocated and you were not in Seattle anymore, which is where they mostly hire the actors to voice these characters.
They cast another individual [Jonah von Spreecken] who I think did a very good job too. So if Dwayne were to come back (there's always been hints and rumors about it) would you be interested in reprising your role?
BH: I'd be interested in working with these folks anytime. I really like it. I said I had a great experience working with them and they were always good to me. And I mean I've got a studio, I don't have an in-home studio because I'm not that technically proficient. If they wanted me to voice Dwayne or Ralph or whoever, I'd be more than happy to.
TT: We also have the final scene, which is another really different, exciting game. I was kind of watching it last night. There are a lot of players who post their own versions of playing the game. You voice Joseph Hughes and Sergeant Ramsey, and that's a character via phone, so you're never going to get a physical representation of him.
BH: So again, it all relies on the voice. It relies on the process of how you develop the character with your voice. And then we have Joseph. And I think Joseph is probably one of the saddest villains in the Nancy Drew series. Because we come to find out at the end, he has found out that his brother has died. So their whole plan of starting their own theater or their own business is gone. And he doesn't have anybody else in his life. And so he really stoops to the lowest of the lows and kidnaps Nancy's friend.
TT: When did you find out about that specific part while doing the recordings?
BH: Well, as I recall when we did the second game, I think it was like a year to a year and a half after the first, they just called and said, would you like to come in and work with us? Said sure, in a New York minute. So I came into their studio and went from there.
He's slowly going crazy, but it's not evident in his tone, in his voice. And I thought that that was so subtle and enjoyable as a player because it really creeps you out. Well, I think what we were trying to do there was to show that the character was maintaining control outwardly, but inside falling apart, he's such a great character. I really, I really enjoyed Joseph.
TT: And do you have any particular favorite character between both games now that you really enjoyed voicing?
BH: Well, that's an excellent question because I enjoyed voicing all of them. I guess if I had to pick one.It would probably be the Joseph Hughes. I'm gonna say had the most going form in terms of from a character perspective.
He gave me more to work with and if an actor has a good foundation to work from, he can really do a lot more with that character. The strength of these games back when I first did them was the writing, you know. The writing to me was very sound. But also at the same token, they would give me the liberty that I felt I wanted to phrase something a little differently, and keeping it in the same context, I could do that.
The biggest problem that an actor has with a written script if the script has not been written to be spoken. It makes it very difficult. In these scripts, they were written to be spoken.
And what I mean by that is a lot of folks write scripts thinking they sound great. But they never read them out loud. So if they don't read them out loud, they don't know if they're, if there's, if they're, if they sound real or not. You need to get a good pacing and be able to use, phrases and terminology that the actors are more comfortable with with the spoken word. And that makes it more real.
TT: There's been plenty that has happened since the final scene. And stay tuned for danger. Can you talk a little bit about, you know, what you've been up to since then, I'm sure since moving back to the Philadelphia area?
BH: I've still been active in film and stage and voice-over work, I worked in a couple of different TV series, a show called Political Animals which was on the USA network with Sigourney Weaver, where I played Admiral Taft, commander of the Pacific Fleet in a couple of episodes. Had an episode of Veep. Where I played the MC of the Vic Allen dinner. House of Cards. A couple of voiceover projects. More voiceover industrials than animation, although I am doing voices on a TV series that airs every Saturday on the Fox Business Channel called The Sensibles, which is a small cartoon that teaches young kids about money.
TT: Is any of your material online on a website that our listeners can go ahead and feature?
BH: All three of my voice over demos are online. They can go to a site called dragonukconnects.com and that's DRAGONUKCONN.CTS dragging up connects.com. And they can put a I think a back slash and then my name. And it should go right to the website. Perfect. I'll put it in the show notes below as well, so our listeners can go ahead and just click and they can listen to some of your current voiceover tracks before we end our interview.
[Editor's note: I haven't verified if the website is still up and running since this video was released, but the website generally seems to be for searching up various acting talent. The youtube description had this link www.dragonukconnects.com/262].
TT: Do you have any advice? I know there's a lot of individuals out there who would really like to take a shot at being in the voice over business. Do you have any advice?
Sure.
BH: One thing everybody needs to keep in mind is voice-over work. It's great work if you can get it. It's not an easy field to break into. You gotta continue to plug, but the key is having a solid voice-over demo. And I have three. I have a voice-over demo for narration, for commercials, and for character voices. You've gotta be able to show your range. And.If you can't put one of those together, you're not going to get into voiceover work because that is the calling card for voiceovers. Having a good solid demo.
Once you get that demo made, submit it. Find some recording studios that are doing a lot of work. Submit your voice-over demo to them. Or if you have an agent, have your agent submitted but keep plugging away.
Keep practicing. Read a cold copy. You know, Read commercial copy. Read character voice copy. And you can download that offline. Keep working on your instrument and staying current. I mean, I've booked some jobs. Just meeting somebody at a party. You know, the guy said, oh, you do voiceover work. I said, yeah. I said, what are you doing? I told him. He said, you know, we're putting a project together. Would you be interested in it? I said, yeah, sure.
TT: Well, thank you so much for coming on the show, Bob. You know, we love you in these games. And in the nicest way, like I said, I'm very flattered that you called. So I cannot thank you enough for coming on the show. And if we can close out our interview with one more question, if you could sum up your experience working for Her Interactive and being a part of these Nancy Drew games in one specific word, what would it be?
BH: Phenomenal.

Still pissed that TT missed the perfect—and I do mean PERFECT—opportunity to use, "Hey, Rube!" in the flashback scene where John Grayson started fighting Tony Zucco. Look at these instances where Dick used or mentioned the term "rube." Raaah!! It would've been such an amazing callback!! Such a good way to draw a connection between Dick and John, and the circus culture they lived in!!
Instead we just got John and Mary trying to handle the situation themselves. But if they had just used, "Hey, Rube!" to call for backup, I would've been thrilled. I would've been like, wow, TT has actually done some intensive research into Dick's history—but nooo 😒. Instead, we just got this:

Nightwing (Vol. 4) #82
#tt was like i'll show that john is brave and a fighter just like dick is but BOOOOO ''hey rube!'' and a brawl w the other performers#involved would've been cooler!!#ughhh i was soooo disappointed#Dick Grayson#John Grayson#hey rube#circus slang

One of the things I didn't like about TLOK the first time I watched it is the way it treats (or doesn't treat) the members of the Gaang.
Today in ✨things that have come to me while reading other people's posts✨
I compress most of my ideas into a drawing to give them some validation. I don't trust my words if they don't have visual support, but I'm a slave to the system. I don't have much free time anymore TT
I had this recurring thought of everything we missed about the old cast, I will always understand the need to implement the new characters and leave aside kids like Katara or Toph but... Honestly, neither one nor the other was done well, leaving aside the limitations that Nickelodeon imposed and the complexity of introducing certain themes at the time, there are things that have no excuse beyond bad writing.
The Fire Nation is kind of sidelined, I can understand that in the first two seasons and all but... I honestly would have liked to see more of it. What happened to the great nation that ravaged the other kingdoms for over a century? What is that society like now? Izumi looks like an excellent Fire Lady and Zuko, well, he's Zuko. Why didn't they use that backdrop perhaps for Korra's solo arc? Let her have her transition in a land that had never been there, that had to change because of the war and that adapts to offer a better version of itself.
Korra can't really draw on her past lives for advice, but why not the veterans? Keep the whole scenario of Katata giving her support and contrast it with a different point of view Zuko could offer, at least a scene of the two of them having friendly tension because "What the hell advice do you give my student, you old jerk?" "Don't get so cocky, you bitter hag" or whatever, those two were great at throwing insults around in their younger days, show me they can still crush someone's self-esteem with two sentences 😭
Or Toph herself... I have a strange relationship with her, she has a lot more camera work than the others and she is explored but it's like she puts a lot of fabric on the table and doesn't even cut half of it, don't give me this intricate and complex family relationship where Toph pushed an upbringing opposite to hers that ended up destroying the relationship with her daughters and then completely isolated herself from the world without fixing anything and magically an improvised rescue fixed more than thirty years of problems.
Even in terms of comics, could we ever expect something from the old Gaang? Maybe Zuko seeking help from Toph for something that only the swamp dwarf could solve or Toph getting an unexpected visit from Katara because she was bored and wants to go on an adventure (Zuko and Toph seem calm but I know Katara keeps slipping into trouble when they lose sight of her).
(I was also going to talk about Team Korra but this is too long and I've completely lost the main thread)
My point is, man, take that plot out of the Varrick movies and make me have the old folks argue over who has the healthier spine (spoiler: Zuko wins)
