The interesting thing about getting into League at this time for me is the ongoing Viktor Incident. Cause for those not in the know, while Arcane Viktor is awesome, he's not really the same as game Viktor. In League, Vik is basically a full blown Dr Doom style supervillain with the intention of saving humanity. He also really earns the title of Machine Herald, since unlike in the show, he straight up cyborgs himself. Basically, his thing is use machines to fix humanity's weakness/destruction. But Vik in the show IS a great adaptation, since they keep his motivations and origin and personality etc. Like every character in the show, the team took what they had and changed/expanded it in order to create a better story.

But now game Viktor is getting reworked in order to properly match show Viktor, what with Arcane being canon and stuff. But unlike with Vi and Ekko, who just got changed origins and mild personality shifts, new Viktor is rather... different. Cause instead of focusing on the core aspects, Riot is trying to mimic what the show changed. But the show was very deliberate in trying to be accurate to the games.

So now we have Guy -> Cool Imitation of Guy -> Cheap Imitation of Cool Imitation of Guy

It's time to go, but of course everyone is burning the midnight oil cramming things in last minute! Knitting through the night, rotating out all our fall crops for winter-hardy types, staying up reading well past bedtime, and of course, reflecting on all we've accomplished as we say goodbye to autumn:

Octavia and Lydia developed a Supportive family dynamic ✅

Tyler and Octavia developed a Wholesome romantic dynamic ✅

In addition to the infant onesie, Octavia has knit heaps of new socks and sweaters for Christmas presents and has maxed her knitting skill! BACC-wise it unlocks, from memory, absolutely nothing! But knitwear for all is pretty important this time of year. ✅

Tyler got SO close to maxing his Gardening skill, but sadly ran out of work to do in the garden and fell just short... If not over the course of community gardening projects in others' rotations, next time for sure! ✅

This rotation has been such a comfort to play and share with you all. I will be back at it soon with what, I assume, promises to be a chaotic week with Dawson, and Jagger, and... Wait, what was that about Rose Rivers having her own room at Dawson's place? Didn't Dawson call it quits with Cora...? 🤔

i haven't played minecraft in years, but with the armadillo winning the vote, i think about how wolves don't really have much going on in terms of their utility. like anytime i tame a wolf, i end up just kinda keeping them sitting at home.

i think if mojang really does feel like wolves are deserving of armour, with the addition of armadillos, they really need to update wolves to be more useful as companion mobs, because personally... i never feel the urge to bring a wolf with me when im going out to do things, especially if it involves combat.

like, what do dogs do best? fetching stuff and digging, right? like i wish that i could just mill about with a wolf and they track a scent or something and start digging into the dirt and then proceed to bring you that item. like it could range from rarely digging up iron nuggets to digging up vegetables or whatever, yknow. combine the fetching stuff with combat and you wouldn't have to manually pick up stray arrows or items from mobs your wolf kills.

the only other thing i wish you could do with wolves is automate their health in some way, like give more utility to the bowl item so you can place it down for them to eat from so you don't have to constantly manage their health by looking at their tail. just minor quality of life stuff i guess.

idk, that's just my thoughts. i do like wolves in minecraft, they just feel rather lacking with the way some new mobs have so much going on, like the sniffer and allay and so on.

@cookieg122 and I finally decided on a name for this story we've been working on together for a few years now!! it had started out as a simple recounting of events that took place within two separate Minecraft servers a few years back, but since then we've come up with a lot of our own content, and we figured it was best to call it by an original title to try to separate that original content from its MC ties so it can stand alone as its own thing, too.

Hence why we're dropping the SMP (i.e., "survival multiplayer") title and giving it a wholly new one!

I'm planning on reorganizing my blog (and other related sites like deviantART and AO3) to accurately reflect this change, so it might take a while until everything is fully sorted out. I'll hopefully make a new post chronicling the different tags that I'll be using to organize everything (since I'm planning on splitting it into three distinct Acts), as well as maybe give an overview of the story itself and its contents/characters if possible, so it'll be less confusing going forward :'0

Really excited about this change, though. it's been a long time coming, for sure ;o;
