Well, it only took four rotations, a lot of backseat driving from his recent household additions, and Simularity's Better Herbalism inventory fix, but Dawson has finally maxed Herbalism.

This means that, according to BACC rules, we have officially unlocked contraception for the entire community. Finally.

Dawson received a nice bottle of wine from Cassie, Alicia gave Cora a rather... spartan still life painting, and Alyss presented Rose with one of the many wooden sculptures sitting in their inventory. (All those days spent woodworking at the welcome center, paying off!)

...and Jagger received compost from Mya. (It was all they had in their inventory!)

I wasn't going to make a big deal out of it, but Cora seemed to take it personally...

"Do you know what you're going to wear? What are you going to do with your hair?! Oh! And your makeup? [gasp] You should let me help you!"

It's only right, I think, for Tyler to propose where they first met — now the heart of New Promise — with the home they've built together all around them.

It's a chilly fall morning and Tyler is rough chopping some late season tomatoes prepping salsa fresca to serve with the tamales steaming away (...uncovered?) on the stove top.

"Mom is going to flip that you're messing around with knives again."

Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival and Alicia is preparing some bánh xèo for the evening's full moon potluck.
