character design test for Vex, the god of chaos!! y'all kind of already know him as Eggs Benedict; though this is what he looked like before he got turned into a cat (as punishment for breaking the rules and bringing people from another dimension into Atria just to mess with the other gods).

we completely rewrote his entire story as well and now he's kind of a major character in HIWYA ^^; he ends up sticking around Aya in his cat form because she's just as chaotic as he is and they basically end up being partners in crime, haha!

but here he is in god form! he ended up looking a lot younger than I initially imagined him to be, but I feel like it kinda fits his rebellious and chaotic neutral personality lol xD

Six Sentence Sunday

Between work and school full time, I have had no time at all to write this semester, so it’s difficult to find something to share for these. However, there is a project that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time now, so I decided to pull it out and finally start working on it. It’s going to take me a while to complete it, but I’m excited about it and wanted to share what I’m doing!

I’m rewriting the farmer!baz fic, including things that I left out the first time, cutting other parts out, and making a few noticeable changes! And I’ll also be redoing the playlist.

Here’s a typed up excerpt:

[Simon’s pov]

“I will have it in a year, and I’m already an outstanding driver. At least I won’t be driving into the sides of any barns,” he adds with a smirk.

“Shut up,” I mumble, remembering the day I drove a tractor through the side of a barn. It was absolutely not my fault, but Baz will never let me live it down.

“It will be fine, so get up. We’re leaving in five minutes.” He’s still not telling me anything about where we’re going.

Bonus: my cat also trying to prevent me from writing (lol)

36. How do you come up with fic titles? What's the one you're most proud of?

It depends, but most of them either come from a line in the fic or a song lyric. Every once in a while, the title will come to me, and I will then work it into the fic, which is what happened with my fav fic title I've come up with: Home Is Wherever You Are

I went through a couple of different wordings of this title before finally landing on this one. I wanted to capture the feeling of Simon and Baz being each other's home because I felt like that was one of the main themes of the fic, so I decided to go with some along the lines of "home is where the heart is" but I wanted something different. A couple ideas came from that such as "running home to you" and "you'll always find your way back home" (both of which are songs and one is a Hannah Montana song lol). Finally, I landed on Home is Wherever You Are, which paved the way for the ending of the fic.

….BTS. Hands down. Now, don’t me wrong about other groups I’ve written for but I find that they are so much easier to write for because I know their personalities, I find them the most malleable, and I just think that they inspire me a lot even if I am pretty all over the place for who I write for!

IHY,(BOC)ILY was another surprise because some people told me how much it hurt them somehow, and I was only a little confused since the ending was actually happy! HIWYA was my first time publishing a written piece for a non-second person based POV and it was a very lovely surprise to see how well people took to it! NB was my first Wonho story without smut, so seeing how well it took off numerically made me happy ^^” & okay, last one was just a surprise because people told me the ending hurt them and I guess it was just gratifying that I could write an effective, predominantly angst fantasy piece (((:

Nine pm wasn't your favorite hour to drive at, yet if your boyfriend needed you, you would do anything for him—again and again. A simple "can you come to the studio?" was enough to have you driving your way to him. You packed some fresh food for the two of you, knowing that he was probably buried in musical notes and unsaid words. You parked your car and took your stuff, smiling wide at the thought of seeing your two-tone haired boyfriend, grinning at you as you would open the door; and you were right. There he was, glasses on his face as he munched on the pen's tip, continuously spinning along with his chair until he saw you. The concentration on his face turned into a blooming smile, eyes lighting up the second you flashed him your own lovely one.

"You brought food too? Your presence would have been enough." He said and took your hand, dragging you into his lap as he stared at you lovingly.

"Just in case, baby." You answered.

Moments like this one were your favorite—you on his lap, while he hid his whole face into the crook of your neck, playing with your hair and whispering how happy he was to have you there.

"What were you working on?" You asked curiously, giving him comforting pats on the head.

"Remember that song I began writing for you? It's done, but I just can't find the right title…" he sighed, eyes darting over his notebook as he stared at the soulful lyrics, grabbing your attention.

The fact that he spent his time writing an oh-so-beautiful song dedicated to you, his lover, made your heart swell with happiness and adoration for the tiny boy in front of you. He didn't want to show you the lyrics just yet as he wanted to put on a show for you and perform it beautifully, but his gesture already made tears gather at the corner of your eyes—tears which he kissed softly, not letting any of it slip on your beautiful face.

"What did I do to deserve you?" You asked, leaning into his touch as his lips were pressing on your cheek.

Hongjoong used to be a bit hesitant when it came to PDA and stuff, yet, when he saw how patient and attentive you were, he started to love every bit of it, craving it the most in moments like this one.

"I'm asking myself the same thing, love." He answered, lips brushing softly against yours, pecking them.

You smiled and put your head on his shoulder, playing with his fingers, tracing every shadow of his rings.

"Do you want to go home?"

"Home is where you are, sweetheart." he smiled, then jolted almost immediately, making a worried look appear on your face. "Home is where you are! This is perfect, darling, for the title!"

You looked at him proudly, clapping your hands softly as he turned his producing program on, ready to show you your long-awaited song.

"Ready to hear it, baby?"

"Always, my love."

Seconds later, the silent studio was filled with his beautiful voice, putting his whole soul into the song he was singing for you. For the whole night, you watched and made him play it for you again and again, proving your love for each other as the dark blanket of the night witnessed it all.
