Six Sentence Sunday

Between work and school full time, I have had no time at all to write this semester, so it’s difficult to find something to share for these. However, there is a project that I’ve been wanting to do for a long time now, so I decided to pull it out and finally start working on it. It’s going to take me a while to complete it, but I’m excited about it and wanted to share what I’m doing!

I’m rewriting the farmer!baz fic, including things that I left out the first time, cutting other parts out, and making a few noticeable changes! And I’ll also be redoing the playlist.

Here’s a typed up excerpt:

[Simon’s pov]

“I will have it in a year, and I’m already an outstanding driver. At least I won’t be driving into the sides of any barns,” he adds with a smirk.

“Shut up,” I mumble, remembering the day I drove a tractor through the side of a barn. It was absolutely not my fault, but Baz will never let me live it down.

“It will be fine, so get up. We’re leaving in five minutes.” He’s still not telling me anything about where we’re going.

Bonus: my cat also trying to prevent me from writing (lol)

….BTS. Hands down. Now, don’t me wrong about other groups I’ve written for but I find that they are so much easier to write for because I know their personalities, I find them the most malleable, and I just think that they inspire me a lot even if I am pretty all over the place for who I write for!

IHY,(BOC)ILY was another surprise because some people told me how much it hurt them somehow, and I was only a little confused since the ending was actually happy! HIWYA was my first time publishing a written piece for a non-second person based POV and it was a very lovely surprise to see how well people took to it! NB was my first Wonho story without smut, so seeing how well it took off numerically made me happy ^^” & okay, last one was just a surprise because people told me the ending hurt them and I guess it was just gratifying that I could write an effective, predominantly angst fantasy piece (((:

36. How do you come up with fic titles? What's the one you're most proud of?

It depends, but most of them either come from a line in the fic or a song lyric. Every once in a while, the title will come to me, and I will then work it into the fic, which is what happened with my fav fic title I've come up with: Home Is Wherever You Are

I went through a couple of different wordings of this title before finally landing on this one. I wanted to capture the feeling of Simon and Baz being each other's home because I felt like that was one of the main themes of the fic, so I decided to go with some along the lines of "home is where the heart is" but I wanted something different. A couple ideas came from that such as "running home to you" and "you'll always find your way back home" (both of which are songs and one is a Hannah Montana song lol). Finally, I landed on Home is Wherever You Are, which paved the way for the ending of the fic.

liz had asked Adam to break the news to aiden, and ask him to come the boarding house to see her. She couldn't bring herself to leave the boarding house just yet, plus she needed a daylight ring. She remained on the couch,her knees pulled up to her chest. She was nervous to say the least. She knew that her son was told that she left him- she didn't know if he would even want to see her. Once she heard the door open- she tensed up, not sure what to expect but once her son came into view- a soft smile appeared on her lips. "Hi,sweetheart." She whispered softly,swallowing the lump in her throat.

It had been a long day, and Amelia was mostly away from Harrison for nearly all of it, it seemed like the world just wouldn't let the two of them spend some quality time together. Though they had managed to sit together for lunch, holding hands under the table and poking at their food gingerly as they spoke to each other. It was then Amelia came to the conclusion that that night they were going to spend some quality time together. And that decision came with the responsibility of breaking a few rules, but she wasn't at all fussed when she was doing it for Harrison. So she went around during breaks of the group sessions, only to have found the kind nurse that had cut some slack on her and Harrison, and it was then she arranged for a candle and lighter to be snuck into her room. And Amelia was grateful. 

Soon they were back in their room, both ready and showered to go to bed and they both went to their separate beds to wait for the nurse to come around to call lights off, then as usual Amelia had planned to climb into Harrison's bed. She waited patiently and soon they were greeted by the nurse who turned the lights off, and it was then Amelia reached under her pillow and moved across the darkness, setting the candle on the table beside Harrison. Then with shaky hands she lit it, and was glad that it lit up the part of the room she needed to see. She glanced over at Harrison, chewing down on her bottom lip for a moment, just admiring how he looked in the candle light before she pulled back the covers of his bed, slipping under them.
