⋆。𖦹°‧ PUSHIN’ N PULLIN’ kim minji x reader
౨ৎ warnings: idol!au, 6th member reader, minji and yn argue like it’s their 9-6 job, yn is lost and minji is confused, swearing
from the moment minji and yn crossed paths during training, their connection was more like a collision. there was an instant clash of personalities that made it clear they weren't destined to be friends.
yn just didn’t like minji, there was no specific reason, there was just something about the older girl the worked her up, she was a person who never let people get to her but there was just something about minji that made her want to pull her hair down
minji didn’t like yn for the way she held herself, she was a witch dressed like cher horowitz, she was mean but somehow could manipulate her words into sounding so sweet and caring while she’s practically tearing someone apart.
but even with her sickly personality, she was still the most popular member, it was like everyone was just blinded by her face, including the other girls that they couldn’t see her for what she really is, or at least in minji’s eyes what she really is a-
“bitch,” minji said angrily to the girl who stood in front of mirror adjusting her pink polo shirt with the matching tennis skirt, “you’re such a bitch.”
“how many times do we have to do through this minji,” the younger girl states and she looks at the older through the mirror who scrunches up her face at the girl’s informality, “I know I’m a bitch, that doesn’t insult me.”
minji groaned and threw her head back at the girls words, it was like yn lived to annoy her, “can you just hurry up so I can use the washroom before we leave?”
“just one second,” yn whined before turning to face minji, “how do I look?”
minji gave her a deadpanned expression, “horrible.”
“I guess that means I look good because you have zero taste,” yn smiled at minji, “I would immediately go change if you said I looked good.” and like that she walks out the washroom leaving a raged minji.
as minji finished up in the washroom she headed out, the only thing on her mind being a good comeback for what yn said a couple minutes ago, she turns the corner to see the rest of the girls at the door.
“finally!” yn says as she links her arm with haerin, they were pretty close, something minji could never understand, it was like yn talked haerin’s ear off and haerin just entertained the girls useless thoughts, “you took forever!” minji looks at yn like she said the most diabolical thing in the word, “you were the one who took the longest!”
“was I? I don’t remember that.”
just as minji was about the launch herself at yn danielle cut in, “let’s not argue right now please, our managers are waiting for us in the car.”
minji gave yn a glare before pushing through them to open the door, “let’s go.”
as they made their way to the van, hanni, hyein, and danielle darted ahead, eagerly claiming their favorite seats in the back leaving the last three seats for yn, haerin and minji.
minji took the window seat, yn took the middle and haerin took the other window seat, minji couldn’t help but roll her eyes at the fact that the van had barely driven off and she was already talking about herself.
“so, he said that I was his ideal type on a variety show right? he said that it was because I fit his standards, that’s a compliment right?” yn immediately started rambling to haerin who raised her brows at the information yn just told her.
“it depends on what his standard is.” the cat like girl responds going on her phone to search up the male idols name, “it could be a bad thing…”
“but if I fit his standards and I am me that means that it has to be a compliment,” yn says, “I mean hello?! it’s me.”
this felt like the a hundredth time minji had rolled her eyes today because of any, she will never understand why yn entertains these male idols they never come to her for good intention, as soon as they realize how intelligent yn is they bail.
did she just call yn intelligent?
she did the mistake of telling yn her opinion on yn’s relationships, but it only led to yn saying this.
“you’re just jealous, that I get attention from cute boys.”
her jealous?! that was the most insane thing she’s ever heard come out of the mouth since she met the girl.
she tried to tune out yn’s boys problems and looked at the time, just a couple more minutes until they get to the shoot.
minji watched as yn had her phone stuck in her face as the stylist touched up her pink nike outfit for the shoot, “you’ve had your face in the phone all day, is this boy that you’re so interested that important?”
yn quietly thanked the stylist before walking past minji down the hall to get to the set, minji following closely behind her, “you do know that he’s just gonna end up like every other one right?”
yn stopped in her tracks at minji’s words at turned to face the girl, “can you not be up my ass for one second.” she snapped, walking closer to the older girl until she hit the wall.
“you don’t even know him,” she adds flashing minji a cold glare and stepping back.
“I know what he wants,” minji responds immediately, “and it’s not you, it’s your looks.” she says giving yn and even cooler glare, pushing her self off the wall and closer to yn.
“you’re just-”
“jealous?” minji cuts yn, stepping closer if that was been possible, “why would I be jealous of a boy that knows nothing about you and only wants one thing, are they really right about you not being smart?”
yn stared at minji’s face for a good second, it was like she was getting lost in the girls closeness before gently pushing minji away from her, “fuck off.”
“I’ll fuck off when you stop entertaining those idiotic boys, I already have to deal with all your other flaws.”
“so me liking boys is idiotic?” yn said defensively causing minji to look at the girl confused.
“when did I ever say you liking boys is idiotic?”
yn tried to stutter out a response, before just turning away from minji and walking down the hallway, “just don’t talk to me for the rest of week!”
minji’s confused expression melted into an annoyed one, “that’s the best thing you’ve said all day!” she yells back.
she huffs watching yn walk to the set, as much as she loved to cuss the girl off in her head, she couldn’t help but think about how weird yn acted towards the end of their argument.
it’s probably nothing.

─ Javier Peña x fem! reader || WC: 693
CW: MDNI/18+. Slightly NSFW. Post DEA/Retired! Javier Peña. Javi & reader are married. Setting is at some family celebration idk lmao. Sexual innuendos. Sexual tension & teasing. Sex flashbacks and daydreaming. They are down bad for one another.
This has been in my drafts for a couple of days, figured I'd just share it now instead of letting it dust away in the notes lolz. Javi deserves some love from me, I miss him. This is also me writing after a couple of days of sadness so be nice pleak!
You’ve been through it all with the one and only Javier Peña. All the stressors and toxicity of his government job leaving Colombia, the nightmares, the self-loathing. Being and growing with him took time, and learning him as a human being taught you the patience you never thought you’d gain. He was an enigma you had to figure out, and miraculously, when he realized you were the puzzle piece he’d been missing all along, everything else followed through. After a few years together and an exchange of vows, things in your life have been more abundant than you thought possible, and now you’ve both reaped the benefits of going through those trials and tribulations together.
Sitting on his left side, the sounds of the banquet hall tuned out as you merely stared at your husband in awe. Dressed in a suit and his hair slicked back, you couldn’t help but let your mind wander as you admired him from afar. The invitation to a family celebration landed in your mail a few weeks ago, something a bit more formal for your taste, but neither of you could turn it down, nor did you want to.
You especially weren’t complaining when you saw how Javi dressed for the event, donning a black blazer, crisp white button-down, sleek black slacks, and dark leather shoes. He even changed his hairstyle, brushing his hair back after getting a haircut and his jaw clear of facial hair after his close shave. When he kissed you on the cheek as you did your makeup, you could still smell the aftershave he used and his musky cologne, overwhelming your senses in the best way.
Your mind drifted as you daydreamed about his hands and how he used them. His plush lips, the way they caress you, map you out without having to ask. That mouth of his that spews the most diabolical and erotic things as he pleases you with no end in sight, the thought alone heated your cheeks and sent an electric pulse through your body.
You didn’t realize you were fidgeting in your seat until a hand grasped your thigh. Blinking and looking down to spot Javi’s left hand covering the length of your upper leg, he offered an affectionate squeeze, the golden wedding band on his ring finger gleaming under the hall’s light.
“What are you thinking up there, cariño?” He asked you, brown eyes reverently taking in your face as his thumb stroked your leg.
“Nothing much. Promise.” You couldn’t even look him straight in the eye, noticing how he leaned forward to whisper in your ear.
“Mentirosa,” he muttered with a smirk, the dimples you loved making an appearance as he sunk his teeth into his bottom lip.
“If you stay on your best behavior for the rest of the night, I’ll give you something sweet when we get home. Deal?”
It was a proposition you couldn’t ignore. You knew what to expect, and the shiver rolling down your spine gave enough leeway that you understood the intent of his message.
“Deal,” you replied confidently, accepting the kiss he placed on your lips, a momentary tease of what the rest of the night would entail.
“Good. I don’t want everybody in here to know how dirty-minded my wife is.” You chuckled, glancing at him with a slightly raised eyebrow.
“That’s all you, baby. Don’t get it twisted.”
“Touché. But can you blame me? Not when you look this good in black.” He squeezed your thigh a bit harder this time, making his possession known the way you liked. “You aren’t the only one daydreaming right now, but a couple more hours, and we’ll make it a reality.”
You mimicked his grin, placing your left hand over his to clasp around his fingers. He instinctively took your hand, rubbing his thumbs over your knuckles and grazing over the diamond ring that sat prettily on your finger. As you both talked to other relatives to pass the time, you kept his offer in the back of your mind, remembering to ticket it in once you’re away from prying eyes and in the comforts of your home.

the perfect heir and the lord's realization of love.
(sukuna x fem!reader)
summary: with him being your lord, you couldn't just refuse such an honorable ask from him now, could you?
content warning: smut, p in v, nsfw, porn with plot, explicit content, breeding kink, pregnancy kink, yandere tendencies, sukuna being obsessive, jealousy, reader being devoted to him, god complex, toxic behavior, heian era, true form sukuna, dark romance. (english is not my first language)
you couldn't understand him. he was a god, after all, and you were nothing but his most devoted and dedicated servant. the one he always chose to dance for him. nothing past it.
he was the closest thing these people had to an god, even though he knew he was way closer to a diabolical thing than to a god. this didn't matter now, he was their king, their ruler. he could ask for anything and they would give it. hand it. but then, why is it that those disgraceful men seemed to be so devoted to making him mad?
he marked you as his. you were his property and you accepted that happily, always smiling at the marks he gave you after a sleepless night, the bites of his teeth marking your skin through weeks. they never seemed to heal. and even if those men saw it, they didn't really care- something about "sharing", as they called it.
god, he hated those humans.
"you," he called the old lady by the lady's room.
"yes, my lord?"
"who is that man?" he asked sternely.
the old lady looked at the direction he was pointing to, her eyes blinking calmly before she closed them shut. "nobody important, my king. he is one of your entertainers."
"kill him." and she widened her eyes again. "not you, you old thing." he scoffed, angrily. "send someone to kill him. i don't want to ruin my clothes with his dirty blood. i want him dead first thing in the night. make it public."
and she gulped, nodding quietly as she slowly backed herself away from his throne.
then again, you were doing your daily duties since today was another girl's day to be with him. your attention got caught by the screaming in front of the area and, since your eyesight wasn't that good, you had to approach and pass your way through the lots of people that were in front of his palace to have the eyesight that made everyone so frightened.
it seems like the singer boy whom always sang his heart out for you was found gagging in his own blood, his tongue had been cut and by the look of his clothes, someone beat him to a pulp before cutting his tongue.
with your hands covering your mouth, you fell to your knees before trying to get closer to him, only to feel a hand on your shoulder and, for everyone's surprise, to see sukuna himself getting down to get you on his arms, not saying anything and just bringing you to his room.
and, for fuck's sake, you cried your heart out! was he really that important? what did he do for you to be so touched by this white haired boy death? he wasn't even as important or magnificent as sukuna!
"stop crying." he demanded, all arms crossed as he looked down on you, his eyes all focusing on you and on what you would do, say, how you would act.
"i'm sorry, master- my lord, i am so sorry" you begged, hands on the ground as you reverenced him and tried to stop the tears from falling.
"i don't care for your apologies if you don't stop crying." he growled.
you needed a bit more than five minutes to stop crying, but finally it had come to an end and you stopped your sobbing and crying session, hands pawing on your knees as you now looked up at him, your teary stained face making him smirk.
"i brought you here because i had something more important to talk to you." he said, eyes looking down on you like you were nothing but a bug even if he did everything for you — without your acknowledge.
"yes, sir. what do you need me to do?" you asked, breathing heavily.
"i want you to have my heir." he said, making your eyes go wide as you looked at him, stuck between being terrified and being the happiest you could ever be. "well? this is the part where you take your clothes off, dear."
and you nodded, submissively taking off your clothes and folding them like you were always told to.
"i'll be more than happy to give you an heir, my lord" you said, bowing your head to him as your hair cascated and covered your face from his hungry eyes.
"good to know." he smiled, pulling you closer to his still dressed body before putting your boob on his mouth. "i'll be more than happy to give you my heirs."
you frowned, heart beating fast as you felt your body react oh so quickly to his mouth on your nipple and his words against it.
"plural, my lord?" you gagged.
"you think i would've stop after one son? no, dear. you'll give me at least five sons. i don't care for their gender, i just want you to be their mother." and he nipped on your nipple, pulling you to straddle his lap.
you panted, nodding quietly in your devotion. "yes, my lord."
he smiled, biting your neck without any care if it would hurt or not, he wanted it to be clear. you were his.
his fingers travelled all the way down to your inner thighs, gripping at them before delving your pussy with his fingers. "don't you think you're too wet for someone who just lost a friend?" he asked, mockingly.
"h-he wasn't my friend, he was just someone i knew from afar" you panted, your cunt gripping his fingers.
"well, i'm pretty sure you weren't just someone he knew" he smiled, kissing and nipping at your neck "it seems to me that he wanted me to share you, you know?"
"n-no.. t-that couldn't be..." you panted, gripping at his shoulders.
"are you telling me i'm wrong, dear?" he arched his brow.
"n-no, my lord! i'm sorry!" you begged, panicking as his arms undressed his body. he smiled, laying you down on the bed and placing one hand over your belly.
"you'll look so pretty when you're all round and full of my seed" he smiled, thrusting his member into you before you could even answer something, a loud moan coming out instead. "i bet you're gonna look even prettier when you're nurturing"
he smiled, fondling your boobs and sucking them both together without even caring if you'd like it or not, well, lucky for you, you liked it. enough for you to be a moaning mess under him.
"what do you think, dear?" he groaned, grabbing your hips and thrusting into you in a quicker pace, god, he loved your hips so much. how could it be that they always seemed so round? you were always so perfect for him, so tight and such a good girl for him.
maybe he loved you. maybe that's why he wanted you to have his children and this might be the reason for him to kill any man that wanted to have a way with you.
...
nah, it was just possessiveness. love is something that humans reach for in a sick need of validation.
"my lord..!" you called, breathing heavily as he thrusted into your womb, warming your entire body up as you cried your pleasure out "p-please, can you kiss the future mother of your heirs?" you begged, crying lovable eyes staring into his like you were seeing a shooting star.
well, he might love you. enough for him to be holding back from cumming inside you right away when you asked for that kiss. of course, he couldn't keep that up for much longer and just like that, his tongue was inside your mouth, tangled in your tongue as he came inside you and made sure to pump his cum inside you, not allowing you to have it running down your legs.
"again," he said, breathing heavily, his dick still twitching inside you "i'll fuck you again" he said. "until i'm certain that you're gonna get pregnant, i'll be fucking you day and night." he said, looking into your eyes as he held your nape.
you blinked your eyes at him with clear surprise, as a human, hearing him say that was supposed to cause you to be preoccupied, but in other words, he just admited to have a sickeningly obsessive love for you to the point that he wouldn’t be inside anyone else but you.
"i'll keep giving you my seed," he breathed out, kissing you again "so have my child."
you were the only one that he wanted to have children with.
and you did! soon enough, there were a pair of three four-eyed and four-arms twins running around and making everyone's life (except yours and sukuna's) miserable.
and then, there was another one, and another one. god, you really loved those children, and him. life was perfect!
i mean, you didn't even care if he killed another man because of you, it was... common, at this point. of course, the blood cleaning task was not yours, so it didn't really mattered.
that's just his way to say he loves you.

Astarion plays with your tail (Tiefling Tav)
BASED ON THIS ADORABLE FANART
Warnings: Tickling, Fluffy-fluff, tiny bit of angst, mention of Cazador and Astarion’s life as his spawn, Astarion can’t live without Tav, Tav uses she/her pronouns
Astarion gazed at his beautiful Tiefling lover as she slept soundly beside him.
His fingers playfully pet her tail. Almost instinctively, she swiped it away. His fingers danced along the blankets before barely brushing it this time Tav swiped it away again.
He did it again, teasing his fingers against the spade of her tail. She wrapped her tail around his arms and pulled him towards her. The elf covered his face is mock shame
“ASTARION!” she shrieked
“I didn't realize you were so sensitive, sweetheart.” failing to contain the laugh he held behind his fingers
“I'm not! It's just a little…”
“What?”
“Ticklish.”
“Oh”
“Astarion.” She warned, a smile on her lips.
“Oh, this is going to be fun.”
“Astarion!!”
She giggle-screamed, tucking her tail under herself. He climbed on top of her, kissing her as he went. His arms pinned her to the ground. He bit her ear. His hands ran down her sides, she sighed as he bit her neck, his fingers slipped behind her to fondle her tail.
She squealed under him, laughing until tears pricked at the edges of her eyes. He gave the end of her tail a gentle kiss once he was satisfied with teasing her.
She pulled him into her chest, his chin rested on her breasts as he looked up at her, mischievously.
“That was cruel.” She pouted.
“Diabolical.” He continued.
“Downright sadistic.”
“Well, you knew that about me already.”
Tav threw her head back with a giggle. She pet Astarion’s hair with gentle care and ease. Her fingers traced every wave and tousel, careful not to pull at any knots.
Astarion sighed, his eyes fluttered closed as he cuddled further into Tav’s chest. His arms wrapped tighter around her, and Tav could feel their breathing synchronize.
Sleep came quickly for them, but neither could ever stay asleep for long.
Normally one of them would wake up from a nightmare, or hunger. For Astarion it was usually a combination of both. In the early hours before dawn, Tav rose from her slumber. It was still dark enough to feel the chill of night, but early enough that she could smell the morning dew.
Astarion was still at her side, book in hand. His eyes were heavy, but his presence pulsed with lucidity. Tav wondered if he ever actually fell asleep.
He smiled at her, with warmth and a shadow of sadness.
“Go back to sleep, love. We still have a few hours.”
“Then you should come too.” Her arms opened in invitation, beckoning him back to their shared bedroll.
“I’m already wide awake. Don’t worry about me.”
“What’s wrong?”
“I’m fine. Go back to bed.”
“You seem upset. I’m not going back to sleep until you tell me.”
He shut the book, slightly annoyed and curled beside her. His arms pulled her into his chest this time, and he began petting her hair like she did to him the night before.
“I’ve never had anything like… this before.” Tav lifted her head to meet his glassy eyes. “Cuddling, tender touches, gods forbid tickling.”
“Really? No one special ever stayed the night?”
“Hardly. Most of my encounters were brief, flitting, because Cazador fed on them that night.” Astarion’s gaze drifted. “I was just pretty meat tasked with bringing back more meat, by whatever means necessary.” His face fell again. Tav ran her fingers up his chin with gentle care. Their eyes finally met again. “So no, I didn’t have many cuddle buddies.”
“And how do you feel about it now?”
“I love it.” Astarion admitted, a shy blush creeped up his cheeks and neck. “Gods, I love it so much, it’s sickening.” As a sneer curled on his lips. He kissed the top of her head. Tav giggled. “I know that if anything were to ever happen to you, it would utterly destroy me. I need you alive, my love. Promise me you’ll stay alive.”
Tav sat at eye level with him now.
“I promise, my star.”
Astarion held her impossibly close, comforted by the gentle beat of her heart. A heart that would keep beating for him.
ALWAYS LOOKING FOR COMMENTS/CRITIQUE ON WRITING. I whipped this up pretty quick bc I couldn't get that fanart out of my head. I would love to add this to a bigger fic, definitely need some more descriptive language. Would love to hear thoughts. Thank you :)

"𝒩𝑜 𝓌𝒶𝓎 𝐼 𝒸𝒶𝓃 𝑒𝒶𝓉 𝓉𝒽𝒶𝓉"
💫𝒞𝒽𝒶𝓇𝒶𝒸𝓉𝑒𝓇𝓈: Jiaoqiu x Gender-Neutral reader
💫𝒮𝓎𝓃𝑜𝓅𝓈𝒾𝓈: You've got Jiaoqiu so mad at you, because of a mistake, you're injured pretty badly. yet Jiaoqiu doesn't seem happy about this predicament and it's obvious by the red liquid he's thrown in a bowl for you to eat.
💫𝒲𝒶𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓃𝑔𝓈: Fluff, & Spelling mistakes
💫𝒥𝒾𝒶𝑜𝓆𝒾𝓊 "𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝐻𝑒𝒶𝓁𝑒𝓇 𝒻𝓇𝑜𝓂 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝒳𝒾𝒶𝓃𝓏𝒽𝑜𝓊 𝒴𝒶𝑜𝓆𝒾𝓃𝑔"
Injuries weren’t uncommon when it came to Jiaoqiu field, he’s seen many come to him or him coming to them, all with the hope he may be able to help them.
Of course, he was able to help. (some but not all). Cooking was a critical variable for the healing, don’t get shocked just because his medicine is food instead of the traditional meds, syrups, and bodily creams people usually use.
Yet he seems to have a habit…to add a lot of spice. For you he might have just added a way more than necessary, is it because he’s mad at you because you got injured like a completely incompetent fool? Maybe.
“No way…I can’t do it!”
Just looking at the bowl presented to you made you sick from just the smell of it, you could feel your nostrils just burning that diabolical smell of spice to it, it was bright red, did it even have anything beneath the liquid? Meat? Vegetables? Who knows? The red liquid is too thick, making you think he mixed chilly powder with water.
Yet Jiaoqiu doesn’t even have a chance to glance at you, his eyes focusing on his cooking, the swift sounds of him chopping chillies echoing throughout the room, the knife hitting the wooden cutting board. The air around him darkened, even you can feel it from where you’re sitting.
“You’re going to have to eat if you want your injury to heal faster.”
No sing-songy the tone he usually has when talking to you, but right now it came out dry and died. He even throws more chillies into the bat of ‘acid’ that was already boiling on the stove. None of this was helping.
You just give up since he wasn’t going to give you a new dish or let you leave. taking a large spoon of the thick liquid. ‘No way, no way!’ You can’t do it, you can’t! Sticking out your tongue just to take one drop.
It was nasty! Your tongue just burns, completely dropping the spoon back into the bowl, and jumping to get some water down your throat. Even after two cups that burn is still on your tongue, it might be burning your taste buds.
“You're an evil and sick man, Jiaoqiu!”
He just sighs at you, leaving the pot he was stirring. Seriously, he just caused you some emotional and physical damage, now HE'S the one sighing. Pulling out the sit in front of you, pouring in a packet of something unknown before mixing it in; taking the spoon and putting it right in your view, asking, no, forcing you to eat with that malice look on his face.
He can’t be serious! Looking at it with suspicion, as if it wasn’t spicy before.
“No way I’m eating that—“ shoving your mouth into your mouth the second he gets an opening.
It wasn’t…spicy anymore? He had a way to fix it but chose not to! “You gave it extra spicy on purpose!”
“It was your punishment for being so reckless.”
if you liked this, consider tipping me on ko-fi! it'd mean a lot!

Stand Up (Homelander)
Description: Y/N is the only one to stand up to Homelander
Warning: Smut
Word Count: 1,174k
Y/N watched as John gave his input on every little thing someone else said in the seven during the meeting. Deep was speaking and had a really stupid movie idea that would never work and like always John had something to say about it. Y/N groaned as the man went on and on about how the Deep’s idea was stupid and said shit that the rest of them already knew. Homelander looked over at Y/N and shut his mouth, “is there a problem?” He asked.
She sat up and chuckled, “John you’ve been going on and on about how stupid that idea was like the rest of us don’t already know. Just shut up!” He raised his eyebrows at the girl shocked by her words. That was the first time Y/N had ever said that to him or anything like that. “It’s Homelander and I’m the boss you don’t get to talk to me like that.” He said. She stood up, “actually Stan is the boss and you’re his puppet. You’re the face of the seven that’s it.” Jaws were dropped after she said and Homelander had the look of murder in his eyes. Y/N waited for a comeback but all that came was, “Ok then Y/N. What’s your idea?”
Homelander glared at Y/N as she waved to the crowd. It was Homelander’s birthday and Starlight and her were hosting it. Y/N didn’t want to do it but it was Stan’s demand. The whole thing was going okay until Homelander decided to pull a narcissistic stunt and say that he was better than everyone else and what not. Y/N laughed after his little speech while the crowd was silent.
He looked over at her and she stopped, “So the narcissistic attention seeking whore wants to say he makes no mistakes and he’s better than everyone else? Diabolical.” She said to him not caring about the crowd of people. “Excuse me?” “I didn’t stutter. You can put on this act like you don’t care about anything and you’re better bullshit but the sad truth is you need validation and love or else you crumble.” That was the first time anyone’s ever embarrassed him in public. Stan watched with a smirk as the two argued in front of the crowd.
Y/N entered the seven’s headquarters first and sighed. The week had been crazy especially after Homie’s birthday. The internet was tore between the two. Y/N got maybe 5 minutes alone before someone else entered the room. It was Homelander. He closed the door, “ah good you’re here. I need to talk to you.” He said. She looked up at him without a word. “You need to be careful how you speak to me.” He said. She scoffed, “is that a threat?” She asked. He shrugged. “You’re not the boss of me okay? You need to be put in your place.” She stood up as she talked. “No. You’re done running your little mouth.” He said and she laughed. “Or what? You’ll kill me? Do it.” She said and got in his face. “Laser me Milk Boy.” She challenged. He stared at her with hate and something else she couldn’t place.
“What got nothing to say?” Before she could say another word his lips were on hers. She didn’t kiss back but tried to shove him away. “You drive me fucking crazy.” He growled and she let out a breath she was holding. “Oh so now you have nothing to say?” He asked. It was her turn to kiss him and he pulled her body closer to him. Her hands laced themselves through his hair as she deepened the kiss. His hands gripped her ass, making her gasp. He took this as an opportunity to slide his tongue in her mouth. She felt sick to her stomach at what she was doing but it felt so good. He was a pretty good kisser that she almost forgot she needed air. She pulled away breathing hard, “Make this worth my while and fuck me.” She said. He smirked and picked her up.
She wrapped her legs around his waist. He carried her to the table and laid her on it. Her suit was revealing enough that his lips could almost touch her nipples. She let out a moan as he sucked her boobs and left hickies all over them. “Just so everyone knows you’re mine.” He mumbles against them. He moves down to her covered pussy. “I can practically smell your arousal.” He said and he ripped open her suit. She looked up at him in shock but he shrugged. “It was in the way.” Vought was gonna kill her. She wasn’t wearing panties so he leaned down and took a big sniff of her wet pussy. He basically moaned at the smell and chuckled. “Fuck.” He said and licked her pussy.
She gasped out feeling his tongue. He chuckled and decided to suck on her clit. Her body shook as the man put his awful mouth to good use. Her head was thrown back on the table as soft moans fell from her lips. His gloved hands were placed on her thighs as he ate her like she was his last meal. When she was about to cum he pulled away and she looked up at him with a glare. It softened when she saw her pussy juice on his face. He wore it proudly too, not daring to wipe it off. He pulled down his suit pants and boxers to reveal with long and hard cock. Y/N’s eyes widen at the sight.
The man was already cocky but this made it worse. She sat up and was face to face with him. He leaned in and kissed her but this time it wasn’t heavy. She took his dick in her hand as they kissed causing him to moan into the kiss. Her hand positioned him at her entrance and she pulled his hips so he entered her. They both gasped as he stretched her out. Her walls were tight but it felt so good. They kissed for a few more seconds until he pulled away and began thrusting. She whined and her head fell back giving him access to her neck. He leaned down and kissed her throat.
He felt her swallow and decided to suck. She gripped the table that began to make noise as his thrust got faster. Her other hand was laced through his hair. “John.” She moaned and his eyes nearly rolled back. “I fucking love it when you call me that.” He groans out. The sound of his hips slapping into hers was heard throughout the room along with their moans. He pulled away from her throat and pushed her back on the table. She gasped and look up to see him staring at her with dark eyes. “I plan to fuck you on every seat every thing in this room.” He told her and groaned loudly as he came inside of her with no protection or care in the world.

Hello Sunny!! I adore your writings so much, I read (well re-read) all of them during my study breaks and it is such a good pick me after an exhausting day 🥹❤️
Congratulations on your milestone ❤️❤️❤️
One of my favourite works of yours is Archnemesis with Osamu Miya (I love ONE Onigiri Man 😞❤️)
For the event, I take Menu A with strawberry milk and dorayaki and sit next to Osamu Miya ❤️❤️
Have a great day/night ❤️❤️
Archnemesis [part 2]
word count: 771 || avg. reading time: 3 mins.
pairing: 3rd year rival!Osamu x chubby!Reader (feat. The Inferior Twin ™ (affectionate))
genre: fluff, pining, rivals to lovers
warnings: none
request: fluffy, jealous rival Osamu
[part 1] for context
Osamu was pouting.
Had he or had he not carried you to the infirmary?
Had he or had he not avenged you with those jerks who dared to insult you?
And had he or had he not brought you food in the hospital after his match the next day?!
And now what? It was the semifinals and he was about to go up against Karasuno again and you came to cheer them on?
School allegiances aside, why didn’t you even say Hello to him?
Cheeks stuffed with rice he angrily munched on the onigiri, drawing mildly concerned looks from his team as they sat in a corner of the gym, waiting for their turn to warm up.
Past Suna’s wild hair he had a clear view of you and the rest of the girl’s team sitting and chatting idly with the Karasuno crows. Your arm was in a sling but there was more color in your soft cheeks. He cringed visibly when he heard you laugh loudly. Whatever that libero had just said couldn’t have been that funny.
Another annoyed bite of onigiri followed, finishing the rice ball off.
“I‘m gonna get some water.“, he grumbled as he watched you poke the short guy‘s shoulder.
“We have water here, idiot.“, Atsumu said.
“Going to the bathroom, then. I‘ll be right back.“
Since the upcoming match was highly anticipated, the corridors were fairly empty. Only a few people waited in line at the concession stand or talked to a coach in the lobby. Osamu went over to a water fountain and took a few gulps of cold water, using the back of his hand to dry his mouth. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
“Hey, Osamu-san.“
His heart set out for a moment before he turned to see you standing a couple of steps behind him. He only now realized that he had never seen you in anything other than volleyball clothes. Your audacity to look this beautiful in a simple shirt and jeans made his blood boil.
“Oh, so yer talkin‘ to me now?“, he sneered, raising a brow and immediately regretting it when you looked down at your shoes.
“Sorry, I didn’t know how to… uhm. I wanted to thank you. For… for what you did.“
“Don‘t mention it.“, he said dismissively, “People might get the wrong idea.“
When you dared to tilt your head in a way that made his heart pound he added, “Can‘t have my team thinkin‘ I‘m fraternizin‘ with the enemy.“
You giggled and a small smile sneaked on his face, too.
The corridors were empty now. It was probably about time to warm up.
“Well…“, you said, your free hand fiddling with a belt loop, “Thank you again and…“
Osamu was fully convinced he was hallucinating when you closed the gap between you and, standing on your tiptoes, gave him a kiss on the cheek.
He was one hundred percent sure that he must have dreamed it until you said, “good luck in the game. I hope you win.“ You looked away and hid a small laugh, “Just don‘t tell the boys I said that.“
Osamu was still too stunned to say anything at all. Bold of you to assume that he would have enough mental capacity left to form any kind of thought, let alone words after what you just did. It was truly diabolical to mess with his head like that - a worthy opponent even when too injured to play.
You turned on your heel and were about to jog off when he gently grabbed your wrist to hold you back. The surprised look in your eyes told him his ambush was successful but… now what? You were so close and - and why did you come closer?! Alarm bells went off in his mind but without meaning to he leaned down, meeting you halfway. Nothing had ever tasted as good as your kiss. His brain completely shut down and he scrunched his eyes shut, cupping your face with one while pulling you further into him by your hip with the other hand.
Your plan was working. There was no way he would be able to concentrate on the game when this was so much more important. You could most likely smell the fry of his brain when you parted your lips to let him slip his tongue between them.
“Samu! Didya get lost on the crapper?“
His brother‘s voice rang loudly through the hallway and Osamu reluctantly let you out of his embrace.
Whatever happened during the match, he’d make sure his rival wouldn‘t get away so easily afterwards.
a/n: thank you so much for your request and your kind words! I’m so grateful that my silly little stories seem to brighten your day a bit and woah, I didn’t think anyone really liked “Archnemesis” 😅 thank you so much! It was one of my favorites to write!
I really hope you enjoy this one, too 🌟

LAYOUT OF JOEL'S HOUSE PREVIOUS
III. Path to the Future
CH 11 (7.3k) Slowly opening your eyes, you see warm sunlight pouring in through the high windows in a familiar room, although a room you didn’t expect to see ever again. You blink a few times, already knowing you’re in the same clinic room you woke up in last fall. Your mind does a few somersaults, trying to recall where you’ve been and how you could be here again. It doesn’t take long for you to figure it out.
You sit up slightly and the first thing you see is Joel, sitting in his old chair at the foot of your bed, watching you. You see him break eye contact and look at your head, so you reach your hand towards your head but a clamping sensation on your wrist stops your hand’s upward movement. You throw the blanket off your arm and see that your right arm is handcuffed to the bedrail. The transition to being Joel’s prisoner is complete.
“Really?” you huff.
You look back at Joel and he gives you a shy smile, looking almost repentant. Almost.
You suppose if you’re being truly honest with yourself, you didn’t think he would actually let you go, even though you practically begged him to. He’d told you more than once that he wouldn’t let you get away and seeing as how he’d marched across the state to catch up to you after you left the farm, going back empty-handed probably wasn’t on his agenda. You knew this, but it didn’t make you any less annoyed to find yourself shackled to your hospital bed under his watchful eye.
“Is this the part where you take a sledgehammer to my legs?” you ask, straight-faced.
The doctor walks in just then and gives you a surprised look, then smiles.
“Glad to see you woke up so quickly,” she says as she takes out a flashlight and checks your eyes. “Joel said you hit your head pretty hard.”
You grab her with your uncuffed hand, she jumps slightly.
“You have to help me,” you plead. She looks towards Joel and you squeeze her arm to draw her attention back to you. “Joel is the one who hit me on the head, you have to help me get out of here, you have to get Tess. Please get Tess.”
“Stop that, now,” Joel hums, then turns to the doc and whispers. “See, doc? She hit her head and she’s just been sayin’ all sorts ‘a crazy stuff. I’m just worried about her safety.”
Shit. While you were unconscious Joel apparently got in front of the situation and already laid the groundwork for his gaslighting, spinning a tale about the wound on your head and justifying the need to handcuff you to the bed. He thinks he can win this game? Maybe he thinks that because you haven’t even been playing it, you’ve been blacked out from a head wound he gave you.
"You are such a fuckin-” you sneer at him.
“See what I mean? She’s been so mean, not like herself at all,” Joel continues in response.
“I’ll show you how mean I can get, Joel… Uncuff me from this bed.”
“We don’t want a repeat of last time, now do we?” Joel says to the doctor, then turns to you.
Oh, now you get it. You’d threatened these people with scissors all those months ago - when you woke up in an unknown place - and Joel is playing on that fear they apparently still have of you. He’s playing like you’ve lost your mind, like you’d be a danger to all of them if they don’t listen to him. Oh, he’s good. He’s downright diabolical.
“Joel,” you huff. “Don’t fuckin’ do that shit. I know exactly who is the threat here and it’s not me.” The doctor begins to slowly back out of the room, the growing tension making her visibly uncomfortable. You turn to her, pointing your finger at her face and screech, “You have to get Tess!”
The doctor keeps moving slowly towards the door, not giving much merit to your shrill ramblings. You move your outstretched finger back and forth between Joel and the doctor, muttering curses under your breath and trying to figure out how the fuck to get out of this. You sound kind of crazy now, thanks to Joel for pushing your buttons. You wish this was easier, that he was dumb like those kids at the summer camp, but unfortunately you’re dealing with someone who knows all your tricks, who can see through your deceptions. Maybe he had a point when he said you two were alike.
You’re going to have to play to the doctor, to get her to help you despite Joel’s planted lies. Convinced there’s few alternative options, you decide to try and fake a medical episode. You’ve had a knock on the head, it’s completely within the realm of possibility. You throw your body backwards on the bed and begin to convulse, shaking your limbs and rolling your eyes back in your head. You clench your hands and teeth, trying to mimic a seizure as best you can.
It works. The doctor is back at your side immediately, calling for help down the hall, lifting your eyelids to shine a flashlight back in your eyes, yelling for Joel to hold your legs.
“That’s not real,” Joel calmly says.
The doc continues to shout orders at two nurses now in the room, one of them shoving something in your mouth to bite down on and the other holding your legs. The doctor is yelling at Joel, who continues to stand back in silence and refuses to help. You decide to up the ante and stop holding the full bladder that probably woke you up in the first place, letting yourself pee the bed while continuing to shudder and shake.
“Oh Fuck,” one of the nurses says.
“She’s faking it,” Joel says from behind them.
“That’s not fake piss,” the other nurse says.
“Go get Tess,” you hear the Doctor whisper to one of them.
---
You hear Tess’ voice in the hallway, and her steps pause just near the doorway of your room.
“What happened? Is she okay?” you hear her ask.
“She’s fuckin’ fine,” Joel mutters.
“The doc said-”
“She’s fakin’ it,” he hisses.
You can’t even stop the giggle that escapes your lips, as you lie there, having pretended to be unconscious after your incident.
“I thought you said you guys worked your shit out,” Tess says to Joel.
“Well he’s a fucking liar,” you answer, sitting up in bed and yanking your wrist up to clank the metal handcuffs on the metal bedrail.
She looks back at you and then back to Joel. You can’t see her face but he shrugs and looks away from whatever look she’s giving him.
“It’s a work in progress,” he growls.
She asks him for the handcuff key and when he gives it she comes over to the bed and unlocks your wrist from the restraint. She looks you over, touching what you now know is a bandage on your head from whatever Joel hit you with, and sees that besides being covered in your own piss you’re otherwise unharmed.
“Can you give us a minute?” she says, facing you.
“I don’t think she should get up,” Joel answers.
“I was talking to you, Joel,” Tess says, turning to look at him. “I’m asking you to leave the room so we can have a conversation without you in here.”
A long pause goes by while her words work their way past his thick skull.
“Yeah, okay…” he trails off, looking dejected as he shuffles out of the room.
She turns back to you.
“You gave us all quite the scare there, ya know?”
“I’d had enough,” you shrug. “I couldn’t be near him anymore.”
“But you weren’t near him, I sent you pretty far away.”
“And yet, he still had a way of gettin’ under my skin… Also, and I know this is gonna sound crazy, but I had shit go missing and it just seemed like-'' Tess' face twists at your words and stops you mid-sentence. Realization washes over you. “Oh… so not crazy then.”
“I’m sorry,” she whispers, reaching out to touch your hand. “When I found out I made him stop.”
“I think you need a shorter leash on your dog, Tess.”
“What do you want me to do? Do you want to leave again? I’ll help you.” She asks earnestly.
“You think he’d let me?” You both exchange a look that says you both know the answer is no. “Then what am I supposed to do? What do you think I should do?”
“It doesn’t matter what I think, we can do whatever you want to do.”
“It matters to me what you think, Tess.”
“I- I know it seems like this is a deeply toxic relationship. But I think you’re both at war with each other, firing everything you’ve got over the walls you’ve both put up. I think - and you can tell me to fuck off - but I think that if you both put down your weapons and let each other past the armor, that you’d actually be really fucking good for each other.”
A long pause stretches between the two of you and then you scoff.
“Fuck off, Tess.”
“You don’t think so?”
“You’re just saying what he wants you to, obviously,” you snide, even if you don’t really believe it.
“So none of your feelings for him were real?”
“How could they be? That wasn’t who he really is.”
“Sure it was. That was part of him. And this- this is also part of him.”
“Yeah, a fucking asshole,” you spit.
“So now you have the whole picture, right?”
“Yeah, I do.”
“So you definitely don’t feel anything for him now.”
You open your mouth to immediately answer but your stupid fucking brain reminds you of the way you felt when he told you that he loved you and you choke on your words. Fuck. He said he loved you. He said that Bianca’s baby wasn’t his. He said you were all he wanted. You hated him. You hated the way his words made your flesh shiver, made your insides flip. You hate the effect he had on you, the way he’s making you doubt yourself now.
You turn your head to hide the tears that have come to your eyes unbidden and spill down your cheek. Tess sees it, your whole reaction is so fucking obvious, but she’s gracious enough not to say anything. She squeezes the hand she’s been holding.
“Maybe just give it a little time. Then we can figure out what to do, okay?” she says.
---
After your little stunt the doctor insisted on observing you overnight and you didn’t have the heart to reveal your lie to her, so you stayed in the musty old hospital bed with Joel sleeping sitting-up in the chair that he moved in front of the doorway. The next afternoon Joel walks you from the clinic back to the house - his house - as if you don’t remember how to get there. Obviously he just doesn’t want to let you out of his sight. The first time he sent Tess to bring you there but he apparently doesn’t even trust her anymore.
You see people watching you walk together, tending to their yards and pretending not to stare. It hasn’t been a week since you walked down the gravel drive of the farm but people have obviously heard about your little disappearing act. When you get to the porch you see a box filled with your clothes and trinkets you left behind at the farm sitting outside the door. When you step inside the house is eerily still, Joel’s footsteps coming in behind you loud in the unusual quiet. He comes up beside you, the box in his arms, and nods his head up the stairs.
“Where do you want your stuff?” he asks.
Your brows knit. What does that mean? “Which room is free?”
“You can have any room you want.”
You take a moment and then point to the door at the top of the stairs to the right.
“My room?” he asks.
“My room,” you answer.
You don’t actually expect him to give you his room, you were just fucking with him, but he walks up the stairs and brings the box into his room as you follow on his heels. He sets the box down on a chair and you watch in silence with a curious expression as he grabs his clothes out of the closet and lays them down on the bed. He goes to the dresser and grabs more clothes, placing them on top of the others and then gathering them in the blanket that was atop the bed like a fuzzy parcel.
“There’s another blanket in the closet for ya,” he says as he heads out of the room.
You follow him to the doorway but don’t leave the room, watching him turn and bring his armful of shit into Tess’ room. That’s gonna be a shock for her when she gets home, you think to yourself. Shit, maybe fucking with Joel isn’t a good idea if it’s gonna screw over Tess, the only person who seems to be in your corner. He comes back out of the room and your eyes meet in the hallway. You jump back and slam the door closed, locking the handle. You’re not sure what his limits for being messed with are going to be and the bump on your head reminds you of his not-so-gentle nature. Probably for the best to keep away from him for a while.
---
A light knock on the door wakes you from your afternoon nap, the room now cast in a dim evening glow. You sit up in Joel’s bed and look towards the door - still shut and locked.
“Dinner’s ready,” he says through the wood, then you hear his footsteps retreat down the stairs.
You didn’t mean to stay asleep so long. How did you not wake up while dinner was being made? You unlock the door and head downstairs, the creaking stairs under your bare feet echoing off the walls. You turn into the dining room and see the long table empty, save for a plate of food set in front of each chair at the head and foot of the table. What the hell?
“Where is everyone?” you ask.
“Just us,” he says.
You eat dinner in silence, the silverware scraping the plates is the only sounds outside your own jaw chewing the food. He takes your plate when you’re done eating and washes the dishes alone in the kitchen. This is creeping you out, the quiet, the calm. What is he doing? Where is everyone? You think he must be waiting for you to let your guard down so he can pounce, so while his back is turned to the dining room you tiptoe out of the room and run up the stairs, diving in his room and locking the door behind you.
It occurs to you that he probably has a key for his own room so you grab the chair from the corner and place it in front of the door, wedging it under the handle. You used to see this in movies and never thought it would work but you remember Tess doing it the night he bit you, so you think maybe there’s some truth to it after all. You hear him walk past the door a while later and a closing door echoes from down the hall.
He’s just there, on the other side of the wall, in Tess’ room. You wonder if he put something outside this room, maybe hung bells on the door, so he can hear if you try to escape. God, you think he’d probably put a leash on you if he had one. Shit, does he have one? You look over to the doorknob again, double-checking it’s still locked. You think you’re safe. At least for tonight.
You’re suddenly regretting trying to fuck with him, maybe it’s best you just act pleasant, maybe he’ll treat you best if you go along with whatever the fuck this is. Maybe you’ll check with Tess tomorrow at breakfast and see about switching rooms. You don’t actually want his room, the room he most definitely has a key to. You’d rather share Tess’ room with her, and be safely locked away from him with someone. Just one night alone and then tomorrow you’ll fix it.
---
You’re awoken by a loud knocking, and it sounds like it’s coming from downstairs. You wait to see if anyone else is going to answer it but when there are repeated knocks you get out of bed and move the chair blocking the bedroom door. When you make it downstairs and throw the large front door open you see Tess standing on the porch.
“What, did you forget your key?” you laugh.
This is a joke, because there is no key. The front door is never locked. You were told your first week here that everyone within this town could be trusted so no one bothered to lock their doors anymore. It gave you a warm fuzzy feeling inside and made you feel like after nearly a decade of fear, maybe you were somewhere that you could feel safe. Even after being harassed and kidnapped by Joel, you suppose that this is somewhere you still feel safe.
Tess gives you a strange look, but smiles.
“Is Joel around?” she asks.
“I dunno,” you shrug.
“Well when did you see him last?” she looks past you, around the house.
“At dinner, then he went into your room for the night. He wasn’t there when you woke up?” Your brows knit to match the confused expression on her face. “Oh, you didn’t come home last night?”
“What do you mean my room?”
“He didn’t tell you?” You blush a little and bite your cheek to keep from smirking. Don’t be an asshole, it’s not funny to fuck with your captor. “I took his room so he moved into your room. But it’s just temporary, I don’t want you to be put out, it was just a joke-”
“That- that’s not my room anymore though,” she says slowly and then repeats your words. “He didn’t tell you?”
Your smug expression melts away. “What?”
“I don’t live here anymore,” she says.
Just then you both hear a scuffle of boots behind her and look to see Joel walking up the steps, hair slicked back fresh from the baths. He looks between you and Tess, both of your faces marked with confusion.
“Everythin’ okay?” he questions.
“Why does Tess think she doesn’t live here anymore?” you blurt out, acrimony lacing your words.
“Because she doesn’t?” He continues looking back and forth.
“Why would you kick her out? She had nothing to do with me leavin’, she didn’t know-”
“She didn’t move out as a punishment,” he clarifies. “Everyone found a new place to live, it’s just you and I here now.”
“Wh- What?” you stutter. Is that why you haven’t seen anyone else since you got back? You and Joel have been alone here and you barely even questioned it. A million questions race through your mind. You land on the simplest. “Why?”
“Why? Because you told me you thought we were meant to be together but you couldn’t watch me be with anyone else,” Joel says, moving past Tess and closer to you in the doorway as he speaks. “So there’s no one else now. It’s just me and you.”
Your cheeks heat. You don’t dare risk a glance at Tess to measure her reaction to Joel’s recounting of your humiliating confession. Joel moves to take your hand but you pull back, worried that you would melt into his touch and your armor would shatter, floating away like dust on the wind only to leave you naked and exposed right there at the front door for everyone to see.
Instead, Joel says he’ll be right back and moves past you and into the house. You see him head towards his office as you keep your gaze unfocused on the bustling square behind Tess. He comes back moments later and steps past you again, Tess turning to join him in bouncing down the stairs.
“Hey! Where are you going?” you call out to their retreating figures.
They stop and Joel turns around. “Got work to do,” he replies.
“You’re just gonna leave me here? Don’t you wanna chain me to the radiator or somethin’?” you shout loud enough that you’re sure some of the neighbors can hear.
“Do I need to?” he shouts back.
Tess elbows him, looking around and smiling an awkward grin. They both turn back towards the square and continue walking away, leaving you at the threshold.
Since you apparently have an empty house and nothing else to do, you heat up several pots of water, carrying them upstairs to take a bath in the tub. You've been wearing the same thing for nearly a week, so you discard your smelly clothes on the bathroom floor and sink into the hot water. You let yourself soak until the water grows tepid, thinking over Joel’s words as he left earlier. It’s just me and you. He’d sent everyone away, even Tess, because you told the idiot you were foolishly in love with him once. Now you’re in this house all alone with him. God, it sounds like a nightmare, you whisper to yourself, even as a thrilling feeling zips down your spine and makes your pussy clench.
Fuck, you hate him, why do you react like this? He’s a fucking maniac, a controlling narcissist who has hurt you to keep you from leaving him. Once out of the bath you plod around the house, naked and dripping, confirming what Joel told you this morning. Every bedroom, aside from the two claimed by you and Joel, is unoccupied. The beds are stripped bare, the dressers are empty of clothing, the shelves devoid of books, and any personal belongings that once adorned the walls or tops of nightstands have been cleared away.
You pass by the front door, checking the lock as you go, seeing it unlocked and thinking how crazy it is that he just left you here. He seems pretty confident you’re not going to set fire to all his flannel shirts, grab his gun from the locked case that he irresponsibly leaves the key on top of, and raid his pantry before you take off up the mountain. Then you realize that’d probably be a lot of wasted energy since you’re fairly certain you’d end up right back here within a week, Joel clearly unwilling to lose the game of cat and mouse you’re engaged in.
You utilize your time alone by snooping further, letting yourself into Joel’s unlocked office and walking around the sun-filled room. There’s so many windows in here but you don’t even care if anyone sees you snooping around in the nude. You run your fingers along the spines of the paperbacks on his bookcases, recalling afternoons spent with him in this room, alone. You’d practically sit on his lap, watching his mouth curl around the words while he read to you about doctors or dinosaurs, courtroom dramas or enchanted forests. The way you wanted him… could you ever feel that again? He seems to think so.
You sit down at his desk and start rummaging through all his drawers. He’s got pens and notebooks, patrol schedules and calendars, and several photographs of him with people you don’t recognize, taken on polaroid cameras in what looks like a Fedra QZ. You find several maps drawn out of the Valley, both the town and the larger community outside its crude walls. You move to put the maps back and a piece of cloth catches your eye.
You pull it out to find that it’s your pillowcase from the dairy farm. You’d come back from your bath one day this past spring and had noticed it missing. Inside the pillowcase are two books; the one he gifted you for Christmas and the one you’d lost at the farm. Tess confirmed your suspicions the other day but you’re still pissed off at this evidence that he couldn’t leave you alone, wouldn’t let you just move on. The last thing inside the pillowcase is a pair of your underwear and you stop to think, unable to remember any of those going missing at the farm.
Then it dawns on you when he’d taken these underwear. Unlike his other ill-gotten keepsakes these were something that you let him take off you. These were from the night you let him in completely, let him have every last piece of your mind and soul, let him devour you completely. The night you knew you loved him. Your body reacts again, a heat spreading across your chest and up your neck to your cheeks. You feel your core start to tingle and uninvited images of him between your legs plague your mind. That memory shouldn’t make you feel like this. He shouldn’t make you feel like this.
He’s a liar. He’s a manipulator. He’s a bad fuckin’ guy.
Joel comes home late in the afternoon just as you’re getting hungry, having only eaten some canned vegetables from the basement all day, with dinner in his hands. He sets the containers down at opposite ends of the table again as you take your seat, awaiting his reaction to the sight of you dressed in nothing but a t-shirt and the reclaimed underwear that he’d kept hidden away. You see his eyes dart down your legs as he moves towards his own chair, but he doesn't react. You notice the meal is packaged up the way that Kerri used to do it, when she would bring meals out to valley residents.
“Still got Kerri making all your meals for you, your majesty?” you mock.
“Making food for everyone is Kerri’s job now, so yeah, I stopped and got us some,” he says calmly, not taking your bait for a fight. “I didn’t think you’d feel up to making dinner for us yourself just yet.”
The realization of his words hits you like a slap in the face. “You expect me to make your dinner?” you balk. Before he can respond you stand and throw your food across the room, watching the hot steaming meal splatter against the wall behind him. “I’m not gonna cook and clean and let you breed me like I’m your little wife.” You tip your chair over as an added flair in your little tantrum and turn to march up the stairs, shouting as you go. “I’m not playing fucking house with you, Joel.”
Joel didn’t think it was going to be easy, you adjusting to being back home. He knew you were still upset with him - rightfully so - and that it’d take time for you to adjust, to find your rightful place here. He thinks maybe you never found your footing before and that’s part of why you used to be so meek and adrift. Now he sees a confidence in you that he never saw before. He knows what you’re capable of, he knows how meticulous and calculated you can be when you want something.
So he’ll just wait. He’ll wait until you figure out what you want. If you don’t want to cook that’s fine, he knows you’re not very skilled in the kitchen anyways. He doesn’t care what you do, he just wants you to find something to make you happy, to make you want to be here in this life with him. There are so many jobs here you could do but you never seemed interested in the garden, or the household chores, or fishing, or apparently even milking cows.
So what are you interested in? He'll leave you to sort it out on your own and when you’re ready you can let him know, and he'll give it to you. He’ll give you anything you ask for, you just haven’t realized it yet.
---
Every day after that follows a similar script. Joel leaves with Tess in the mornings and you spend the day lazing about, making messes, and snacking on anything you can find. Several days in you worry that Joel will get on your back about the dent you’re putting in the preserved food stored in the root cellar. You head across the square to Georgia’s house, who used to love boring you with stories about her six kids - all adopted here in the valley - and is now happy to feed yet another welcome face. You only have to endure her talking your ear off and you get a hot meal. It’s almost too easy.
As you walk around the square in the afternoons, you greet the residents, coming out of their houses to give you hugs and handshakes, hand you flowers and treats to give to Joel. You’re not even sure you’re supposed to be out of the house so how are you supposed to pass on these gifts? Does he know you leave the house, does he have people watching you and reporting back to him?
You wonder sometimes why you haven’t just skipped town. Part of you is pretty sure that he’d come after you and drag you back again. You’re good at surviving but you’re not an escape artist and he easily followed your clumsy trail halfway across the state last time. But the rest of you, in a bewildering state of honesty, can admit that you don’t want to go. You felt wrapped up in grief before and thought you had no chance but to run away, but you were sad to leave the safety and comfort of the Valley.
The community here provides a good, comfortable life, the people here are friendly and kind, they protect what’s theirs and look out for each other. You have a warm, soft place to rest your head and are never short on things to fill your belly. There’s a wall between you and the outside world and people who patrol that wall to keep danger on the other side. You’re safe. Things are good here, and what’s more, you are seemingly under the protection of the Alpha dog.
God, how pathetic are you that the thought of Joel being feral and insane for you is giving you comfort right now? The way people look up to him, the way they talk about him like he’s divine… you used to think it was inspiring. Then you thought it was just fodder for Joel’s ego, so self-obsessed that he raised himself up on a pedestal like a golden idol. Now, you’re ashamed to find yourself getting a contact-high off the power, dizzy with the masculine energy that radiates off him, under the spell of the dominant strength that everyone else also responds to.
In the passing weeks Joel comes back every evening with food that you know is made by Kerri and you both eat it in near-silence. You’re not foolish enough to toss it around the room and go hungry again, but you still pepper in attempts to pick a fight with him at every opportunity.
This isn’t as good as she used to make it. She must be losing her touch.
This is so salty. You’d better be careful, what with your blood pressure and all.
The rice is undercooked and the meat is overcooked. Ugh, this is barely edible.
You’re not even sure why you’re doing it, really, and you’ve definitely given it thought, since you’re left alone with nothing but your thoughts all day every day. Everytime you open your mouth and something rude comes out you wait with bated breath, wondering if that will be the thing that sets him off. Are you trying to piss him off? Are you trying to make him toss his meal at the wall? Are you trying to get him to throw you over the table again?
No, you don’t want to see that monstrous version of him show its fangs, but you’d still be entertained to get a rise out of him. He’s been like a neutered dog since he dragged you back here, letting you berate and disrespect him daily. You’d like to see him show some backbone, to have a reaction to what you’re doing. With each passing day there’s a nagging feeling at the back of your mind that tells you he doesn’t care, that he’s getting tired of your attitude, that he’s losing interest. No matter how many times you tell yourself you don’t care - the thoughts still make your mind swirl with disappointment.
Worse than that though, is the sour feeling in your stomach when you sit across from him every night and watch him eat Kerri’s food. You know it shouldn’t bother you and you know that you never even actually saw them together, but it doesn’t stop the image of their two bodies entwined from inserting itself into the forefront of your mind. Kerri cooking for your man, touching your man, fucking your man.
No, not your man. Fuck. He’s not yours, he’s anyone’s who has open, willing legs and you don’t even want him anyways. You hate him.
And yet, you can’t stop the jealousy percolating in your gut as you sit across the table and watch him shovel her cooking into his face. Finally, on the eighteenth dinner you eat together, Joel has had enough. You’re still wearing a snarky smile from the comment you’ve just made about the gravy being lumpy when he slams his palm down on the table, rattling the plates. Finally. You bite your cheek to stop your smile from growing.
“Can you stop being such a b-” he stops before he calls you the name on the tip of his tongue.
He watches your face as you react to his outburst. Your eyes go wide, your teeth peek out from your ghoulish grin. He stops himself before he can hurl the insult at you. You’re trying to get to him - you have been for weeks - and he’s been up till now able to resist your provocation. He doesn’t want to fight with you, he’s trying to be a good man and show you only the best parts of him. He’s trying to earn your love back. But goddamnit, he’s had a fucking shit day and your constant complaining isn’t making it any better.
He looks back down at his dinner and resumes eating, ignoring your comment. The gravy isn’t lumpy so you’re full of shit, you’re just being miserable because that’s your new normal. You shit all over him from the moment he gets home with dinner every night and then march upstairs and lock yourself away in his old room. Does he deserve to be punished for every shitty thing he’s done to you? Of course he does, but he was hoping you’d be willing to forgive him too. He thought he saw it in your eyes at one point that night at the summer camp, when you were remembering how you loved him once.
Why didn’t you just shoot him when you had the chance? You had the rifle aimed at his heart, all you had to do was pull the trigger. But you didn’t. Maybe you thought death would be too much of a kindness, too easy of a way out. Maybe you knew he’d come back here and face one of the most difficult springs leading this place and that having to figure out a way to slog through it would be a punishment worse than death.
That’s probably an over exaggeration - Joel knows - but sometimes he thinks he’s not cut out for this shit, for leading a community with so many moving parts. He’s the one who collects everyone’s grievances and is relied upon to find the solution for every problem, big or small. Today he got a report from the Mansfield's dairy farm - the same place you temporarily called home - that the milk output would be down this year. Joel cursed at the note sent in Hank’s own hand. The community had grown by just over ten percent from this time last year and more milk was needed, not less.
He had an afternoon meeting that gave him more bad news; one of his trusted advisors, Peter, had taken stock of his personal supplies after the long winter and found that he was running short on food to feed his large family. He and his wife had taken in 6 kids - between the ages of 7 and 17 - and he half-jokingly told Joel that they were eating him out of house and home. Peter confided that he wasn’t the only one around town who was feeling the pressure of needing this growing season to be bountiful while also acknowledging that the shorter spring was going to hinder the yields.
After the bloody night at the lakeside camp Joel got to thinking about the safety and security of the community. He’d been distracted from his priorities for far too long, and he began implementing new rules as soon as he got back. He ordered that everyone start taking inventory of their stocks and sending him reports, in addition to letting him know what their upcoming seasons looked to yield and what was needed to ensure success. He did away completely with the evening meetings, declaring it safer to have everyone back home before darkness fell. Instead, he spends all his days meeting with people at an office he set up at the town-square, or traveling all around the valley to meet with people at their homes.
Joel had the idea to set up a cafeteria-style system utilizing two old restaurants - which Kerri and Tess staffed - that works to feed residents in place of the meals everyone used to meet up for on certain evenings during the week. Most families prefer to keep their own food stocks and prepare their own meals but everyone donates to the community as a whole, and so there is the ability for anyone who doesn’t want to or doesn’t know how to cook, to get a hot meal any day of the week. The only payments accepted are - as it always is in the Valley - an exchange of goods or services.
These changes have been in effect for over two weeks but Joel is still plagued by worries for the safety of his flock, including you. He doesn’t want to have brought you back here just to put you in more danger. So it was the cherry on top of a bad day when, just as he was about to head to the cafeteria and grab food, Tess stopped by to let him know that they’d just done inventory at the armory and found less guns and ammo than they’d had at last count.
Joel remembers the promise of help you’d made to the skinny travelers you’d come across like a knife piercing his stomach. He knows they aren’t the ones raiding his armory - thanks to you - but that there are others like them out there. People desperate and willing to go to extreme lengths for survival. People who have perhaps already found their way past the Valley’s defenses.
So to say Joel is stressed today might be an understatement. Still, he doesn’t want to fight with you. He wants you to be his comfort, his shelter in the storm. He wants you to be his rock. But lately it seems as though all you want to be is the rocky coastline his ship wrecks itself against.
He stays silent the rest of the meal, not wanting to sink to your depths and get involved in another fight that ends in food all over the floor, cursing, and slamming doors. He stands to take your plate and when he sees that you’ve scraped all the perfectly good gravy off the food you ate - leaving behind a congealed puddle in the middle of your dish - he feels a twitch behind his eyeball. He’s trying to be a good man. God, he wishes he were a good man.
“If you think you could do better, I’m sure I could find you an apron around here somewhere,” he says.
He sees your smug face turn to his, lips forming a snarl just as he turns away to walk into the kitchen, and hears the scrape of your chair on the floor as you stand up. There’s a long pause and he walks slowly through the archway, waiting to see what your comeback could be, hoping since he took your plate that he left you with nothing to throw.
You feel it, the incandescent heat filling up the empty spaces inside you, alight at the way that you finally coaxed a reaction out of him. His snarky remark, his attention, his ire, focused on you. You hate how much you love it, don’t want to face how fulfilling it is that weeks of a calculated, spiteful attitude is finally paying off. And then a thought grips your heart like ice-cold claws; you still love his attention because you still love him. Then, your fists clench and your stomach coils at his repeated insinuation that you could be his dutiful little housewife, and spend your time in this house cooking and cleaning for him.
You push away the thoughts that you might hold any affection for him. You don’t love him, you hate him. He’s seen what you’re capable of, he knows who you are. You laid yourself bare to him and yet here you are, stuck in his house with no real purpose, the expectation that you’ll replace the duties of all the women he sent away. You’ll cook, you’ll clean, you’ll get on your knees. Except apparently you don’t have to cook, since Kerri’s still doing that for him. Jealousy burns you from head to toe at the thought of what else she could still be doing for him.
“You said it was just gonna be you and me,” you shout.
He turns and looks into your face, red and scowling, before looking around the room just for good measure.
“I don’t see anyone else here, do you?”
He wishes he could be a smart-ass about it but he’s genuinely confused. No one but him has even stepped foot in this house since you came back, he even makes Tess wait on the porch in the mornings. You raise your arm and point violently to the plates in his hands. He looks down. The dinner plates?
“Dinner?” he questions.
You nod your head, yes.
“But that’s just-”
You fold your arms across your chest, pouting further.
“So you don’t want another woman making me dinner?”
You shake your head, no.
“But you don’t want to make me dinner.” It’s not a question, you made the answer pretty clear already.
You answer anyways, shaking your head, no, again.
He opens his mouth to argue and then immediately shuts it. He looks down at the dinner plates, then back up at you. A moment passes as he easily realizes why your anger would be directed at Kerri. She’s not just another woman, she’s the other woman, for all intents and purposes. The one you caught him with when you thought - when he let you think - that he only had eyes for you. He did, he only wanted you, but he was also an asshole accustomed to getting what he wanted when he wanted it.
He fucked up. He broke your trust - one of the most precious things you’d ever given him - and he acted like it didn’t matter to him. If this is what you want, no more meals from Kerri, he’ll do it. He’s already told himself he’ll give you anything you want. Whatever it takes to get you back.
“Okay,” he says.

Mha headcanon to drabble
Shoji has meeannn tickle nibbles.
(Headcanons to Dabbles: OFFICIALLY CLOSED)
I am but a simple woman; I see Shoji- I scream. I see opportunity for Lee!Tokoyami- I scream some more. I see opportunity for some TokoSho and think to myself: what the fuck-what a wonderful HC this is! Friend- I've gotcha covered! :D
“I’m hungry for some chicken.”
“What-” Tokoyami blinked, starting to turn towards the other, but a small nip to the back of his neck made him jerk and squeak. “Shoji!”
“What? It’s not me- it’s them.” The other boy grinned behind his mask, darting his eyes at the tentacles growing out of his left side. “I don’t know what they’re thinking. It’s like you and Dark Shadow.”
“It’s absolutely not th-Ahahaht! Cehahhahse this beehheheahvior!” Tokoyami squirmed as more tentacles surrounded him, gently nipping at his neck and sides. They weren’t painful- he knew no bruises would come from them. They were just so tickly! “Shohohoohji!”
“Like I said, I can’t. Though chicken does sound good right now.” He creeped forward, gently gathering Tokoyami from behind to hold him in place, his limbs carrying on their tickles. “Or perhaps…raven?”
“Yohohohou’re so strahhahange! Gehahahaha, lehehehet me goohoohoho! Chiiiiirp chiiirp! Gehahaha nohoho! Nohohoh thehehehehehre!” Soft clicking sounds radiated from the bird student as he kicked and wiggled, blushing fiercely beneath his feathery face. “Shohohohohji, pelahaahahse! Chiiiiiiiirp!”
“Wow- your musical today. It must really tickle.” One of the tentacle mouths said with a snicker, nuzzling Tokoyami’s chin.
“He’s so cute! Check this out!” One by his side called, taking a breath and blowing a massive raspberry against the cloth, making him squawk and cackle. “Tickle tickle, Fum!”
“Shoohohoohji! Chiiirp Cahhahahall thehehehem oohohohoff! Aheahahhaha chiiirp Mehehhehrcy!” The smaller boy cackled out, feeling his lungs pinching from the lack of oxygen. “Pleahahhahahse!”
“Hmm..okay.” Shoji stopped, pulling his limbs back but keeping the other trapped in his webbed embrace. “Thank you for the meal.”
“Eheheh..hehehehe..yohohou’re indehhshsescriably devious.” The smaller boy groaned, fussy as Shoji gave him a gentle squeeze. “Truly diabolical.”
“And yet you let me do it.” Shoji pointed out, feeling Tokoyami ruffle.
“Yes..yes I did. You know- I’m suddenly peckish. Dark Shadow- how about some Takoyaki for lunch?”
“Oo!”
“Huh- oh no, don’t you da-AHhahahhahhahahhare!” Shoji squeaked and flopped back as he was attacked, dark shadow and Tokoyami pinning him with ease as they scratched and prodded at his ticklish spots. “Iihihihm sohohoohrry, I’m sahahhhhaharry!”
“So glad to hear it. Now- let me enjoy my feast.”

Not so tough now huh?
I really wasnt expecting the poll to get so many votes!! Heres what you guys have voted on <3
Lee!Jax Ler!Ragatha
Summary: Jax finally pushed Ragatha over the edge causeing her to find something out about the annyoing rabbit.
Jax smirked to himself, setting up the most diabolical prank on his dear ol’ friend.
He’d been planning on getting Ragatha for weeks. He had completely transformed the rag dolls room into something you’d seen out of home alone.
String and marbles practically covered her room. Foam balls, feathers, water buckets and paint set up to hit her as she walked in.
“3…2…1” Jax counted down watching Ragatha close her door behind her. He could hear a muffled, ‘What the?’ Come from the doll herself. The marble rolled into a small hole triggering scissors to cut string sending the bucket of water over her bed, the water spilled everywhere and into a lower placed bucket below activating the foam balls to sore through the air hitting targets around the room. Finally it ended with a bucket of paint spattering on her head with another balloon filled with feather to pop.
“…..JAX!!!” Ragatha screamed causing Jax to chuckle to himself already booking it down the hall.
Ragatha, surprisingly, cleaned herself off quickly and darted after him
“JAX YOU JERK!!”
“THAT WAS SO WORTH IT!!” Jax yelled back
After 5 minutes of Ragatha chasing Jax, he started to get tired. He felt like it was the longest game of tag, where Ragatha was it and he was playing for his life.
Jax, now starting to panic, realizing that Ragatha was not slowing down. Regatha was so determined to catch him. Every time Jax would fumble over himself he would scream. Scared to what would happen if he did fall with the doll hot on his trail.
eventually he backed himself into a corner. He spun around to try to run but Ragatha was already there.
“Raggs…. Please… it was…. Just a joke!” Jax panted, catching his breath
“Oh that was no joke, that was a prank! A prank you fully thought out!” Ragatha pointed out
“Look, let’s… talk about it! How about we make a deal?” Jax suggested
“I’m listening”
“Okay, how about this! You let me go….” Jax inched his way slowly trying to get past Ragatha, “and I promise…. TO RUN- EuGH!” Jax ran full speed thinking he was getting away, only for a plushy hand to stop him.
“Not a chance” Ragatha said holding Jax by his upper arm.
“Let go!” Jax tried to pull away
“No!” Ragatha squeezed his arm causing Jax to let out a yelp
“…..”
“…Jax?”
“..what….” Jax face got hot, he didn’t know he could still be ticklish after entering the digital world!!
“Jax what was that?”
“.. a cry for help?” Jax tried to excuse. Ragatha squeezed again causing Jax to yelp again
“Are you-?”
“No…”
“Because you sound like your-”
“I’m not..”
Ragatha smirked, "You're not what?"
"uhhh.." Jax blanked, too embarssed to say anything just in case it wasnt that. Ragatha spun Jax grabbing both arms pinning them both above his head. Jax gave her the most panicked look he could give, seeing as Ragatha didnt give him the 'you ok?' look, Jax was doomed.
“So if I do this” Ragatha pinched at Jax’s sides “you’re sure you're not..?”
“gAH- Rahahags!!” Jax nearly jumped out of his skin. He started to squirm and giggle as Ragatha continued to tease and tickle him
“Oh so you are ticklish?” Ragatha smiled moving her way up and spidering across the poor bunny’s ribs
“NohOHO! WAIHAhaeheHAT!!” Jax complained and groaned through his giggles, he shook his head frantically as Ragatha moved up.
“Somebody’s sensitive!!” The doll teased, tickling right below where his ribs meet his armpits. The anticipation was literally eating at Jax.
“RAhaHags!! PLEheEase!!” Jax panted, trying to make himself sound as tired as possible.
“Shouldn’t have set that prank up, this would have never happened!” Ragatha growled, remembering the mess she gonna have to clean up when she gets back.
Jax shut his eyes as the rag doll massaged into his armpits. Jax nearly screeched, he turned his head into his pined up arms to try to muffle anything. He’d hate it if somebody came looking for them to find the predicament he was in.
“RAHFAHFAHGS!!” He stomped his feet below himself to try to diffract himself from the tickling
“Sorry, am I in a bad spot?” Ragatha teased
Jax sighed as Ragatha slowed down her torturous hand. Jax’s cheeks turned pink straight out of embarrassment. Just as Jax thought Ragatha was done, she put her hand on the side of his neck. Crap
“Wha- what are you doing?” Jax asked nervously
“Take a wild guess rabbit!” Ragatha stated as she tickled into his neck
Jax squealed scrunching up his neck and throwing his head back. Ragatha immediately noticed how Jax no longer wanted to muffle his laugh. Jax just chucked freely as Ragatha moved her hand to his ears.
“AH- Waitwaitwaitwait!! Ragatha!! Ihavetowarnyounowpleaseimgoingtoscream WAIT!!” Ragatha held his two ears in place and slowly blew air onto them. Jax screamed followed by loud laughter, he squirmed and shook his head but he couldn’t shake her off
“RAGAHATHAHA!! *Squeal* GAHAHA!!” Jax, now more embarrassed than ever, sat there laughing seeing as there was nothing else he could do. Ragatha tickled the tops of Jax’s ears, still blowing onto the bottom part.
Jax was in practically in pieces giggling and taking deep breaths when Ragatha would inhale giving him time to breathe before she would exhale again. Ragatha stoped once Jax started to get wheezy
“You ok?” Ragatha asked as Jax sat on the floor
“I uhh, *HIC* ohmygod” Jax completely shut down covering his face with his hands while his embarrassment covered his face
“Did I go to far?” Ragatha giggled, she never saw Jax like this. She laid her hand over his shoulder causing Jax to jump as the sudden contact
“No uh *HIC* you’re good it’s just- *HIC* these damn hiccups.” Jax explained, his frustration only getting worse as he continued to hiccup
“Stay here, I’ll get you some water” Ragatha smiled. She was back to her old self again, Jax didn’t complain and watched her run off.
He rubbed his ears free of the ghost tickles, bringing one down to his vision. ‘Weird’ he thought. He leaned up against once of the walls and eventually fell asleep.
Jax shot up, expecting to still be sat up on a wall, instead he was in his bed. He looked around confused, until spotting a glass of water and a note on his night stand. He sipped the water and opened the note
“Hey Jax,
I saw you were passed out so I brought you back to your room. I also brought you the water I said I was going to get. You might have been confused how you got back in your room, that’s why I’m writing this. I’ll be in my room tidying up YOUR mess.
-Doll Face”
Well, that solves that mystery…Jax grabbed a pen and paper.
He opened his door carefully looking to see anybody, but nobody was there, good. He found Ragathas door and crouched down. He slid the note under her door with a knock and booked it back to his room.
———————
Ragatha heard a knock on her door while cleaning up the mess Jax’s prank caused. ‘Probably just a dig dong ditch’ she thought hearing the sound of feet running away. She looked over to the door anyways, ‘a note?’ Ragatha walked over picking up the note and opening it up.
“Hi Rags,
Thanks for not leaving me in that corner and I guess thanks for the water. You better not mention this to anybody. I mean it. It was already embararsing enough,
-Jax”
‘he missed spelled embarrassing’ Ragatha giggled. I guess he was right, he did look really embarrassed. But this is the first time he’d thank Rags for something, this was once in a life time.
Ragatha looked at her trash can, then her storage box. She thought for a minute, then put the note in her box.

the plot where Raphael hides / saves us from the ascended Astarion is already classic, but what about the plot where we find ourselves between the devil Raphael and the god Gale?
The ending of the game is with Gale's novel, where he ascends and we signed a contract with Raphael. A dialogue with the two of them, but Raphael snaps his fingers and takes his debtor to the house of hope, as befits the devil.
So Gale, I have your sweetheart, and I will gladly exchange her for the crown she promised me.
Raphael, of course, could torment us in a sophisticated way, but it is also possible to leave us in the painful expectation of our beloved, who will not come.
(I love Gale, but I really doubt that he would give up the desired divinity and first of all I'm Raphael's girl so I need this development heh)
We settled in the archive, dutifully waiting for our savior, and being completely sure that he would come. Raphael rarely comes to us, and we ignore him with our nose in the air, because in our head we are already free from this captivity.
Raphael smiles rapaciously, watching the changes in our behavior. A bored lady first hides behind books, then throws them aside and looks more tense, her hair and clothes are in more and more disarray. She starts wandering around the archive and does not notice the rest of its inhabitants, she mumbles non-stop, "He will come back. He'll be back. He will definitely come back for me."
The mouse's strength in the cage is running out and she gets discouraged. He's just sitting on the floor hugging his legs.
Raphael gives orders to the archivist and approaches the little prisoner. There is triumph on his face.
"You know, you're the first guest I've had who gives me so much pleasure just by being there, little mouse." The girl continues to stare into the void, not reacting to him. Raphael's emotions deteriorate, he frowns.
"But you're not being funny anymore, honey. I don't think your lover is getting discouraged right now. He has admirers and confidants. He follows the destinies of people and supports their wildest desires. To some extent, it's like me." Raphael praises himself and looks dreamily around.
"I can help fulfill any ambitions. The only question is, do you still have them?" He looks down at the girl, who finally raises her haggard gaze to him.
"I don't think so. All of them remained in your dizzying journey to my crown. You gave up everything for him, didn't you? He promised to share divinity with you. You paved his way to Celestia, but he chose to go up there alone."
"Is that fair, little mouse?" He tries to find the answer, peering into her pale eyes, but does not find it.
"Well, no, you're not funny at all." Raphael gently claps his hands, awakening her attention and obedience.
"Follow me"
The way to the boudoir is not long, the debtor quietly drags her feet behind him. And she remains standing by the pool while Raphael walks to the back of the room.
Haarlep perks up on the red sheets noticing the guest. But he is somewhat upset to distinguish a battered debtor in her.
"Take care of our guest." Raphael gives a brief command.
"Um, it's not for me to lecture you, I thought you liked more... sensible specimens."
"I assure you, her brilliant mind will quickly return to normal. Make her look decent, talk to her, refresh the dying embers of her soul. I'm sure you'll like her."
"Well, if you think so."
Raphael leaves, and Haarlep remains to bring the mouse back to normal. The incubus washes her body and hair, asks questions and, without receiving answers, criticizes her apathetic state.
Later, the little mouse, clean and smelling good, sits on the bed while Haarlep smears her roughened elbows with cream, simultaneously lamenting to Raphael.
"Of course I'm thrilled with what a wreck you've turned God's beloved into, but it's up to me to put her in order."
We are definitely fine, we accept all their words, but we are silent out of resentment until Raphael uses his diabolical conviction.
"Tell me, little mouse, who's to blame for you being here?"
It's my fault, because I made a deal with the devil."
"Wow, she's really talking," Haarlep comments,
"Wrong answer, mouse, you can get out of here, but someone just doesn't want to get you out of here."
Raphael will use us to set up our resentment against Gale, whitewashing himself and forcing us to work for the good of his future kingdom.
• How do you like the moment that Gale lovingly taught us the magic of a wizard, so when we now return this knowledge, his image also returns: his face, his soft voice, his hands guiding ours. This depresses the soul of the captive and awakens unnecessary emotions, therefore, on the part of Raphael's strategy, it is worth changing the nature of our magic and making us his warlock, thus getting under the skin of the most intimate memories and replacing Gale with himself.
Well... I guess his final goal is to take the crown with our hands. It's quite beautiful. yes

Basically though, I binge-read ALL of A Legacy will Be Crowned Like, ALLLLL that was there so far and my gosh am I hating myself for not reading it sooner! I was a fool! A looooser!!! No joke, I was just hooked, enthralled. Also, since I am far too excited to put my thoughts into a coherent structure, some other disjointed thoughts are the following: 1. Kijo Togami. Even without the fic note at the end of his introduction chapter mentioning how he was fun to write for you, I could just sense it OOZING all over his dialogue and actions. Really like this interpretation of his character. He sucks yet he fascinates me. Makes me wish I had a consistent design for him so I can just draw him. 2. Byakuya is really fun to follower here. Even with knowing the end result of the competition, the fun lies in his decisions, how he solves problems and the said problems he faces. Also, it helps that, due to his age, one is already bound to route for him as the underdog of the family, even with the trajectory of how he preforms in the competition being clear to the reader. Like, even though we KNOW he's not going to fail due to the nature of the canon as this is a prequal, one can still worry about him and his wellbeing. I like that a lot! You fond a good balance with that since a pitfall that can occur is that the reader isn't invested with the main character because they already know what will become of them. Also, one other thing I wanna add is that I like how he's not written in a belittling way or as an over-competent super genius. He's still a kid but it's also apparent he has exceptional qualities that make him different from the others but not annoyingly different 3. The siblings. Though there isn't too much to say, I like just their being. There isn't much info on all of them but it fits since we're following Byakuya. We get small details though. Do wish I knew what they'd look like cus I am just at a loss still. Also, I liked Byakuya's dynamic with a "certain character" I don't wanna spoil btw for those who are just seeing this, so I will just say "that one prick" and those who know will know B] 4. I know I already mentioned Kijo but I just LOVE the staging of those intermission chapters where he's talking with Aloysius all sinister with a glass of wine. Like, he's giving diabolical energy with just a hint of camp that makes him so fun to read. And, I just adore his remarks to Aloysius, very cold, uncaring. How he clearly tears the butler down with his sharp words and the showcase of Aloysius's character with how he handles this. Cus, he's been around as Kijo's main butler for ages and it shows! Also, I swear. If I didn't have art block at the time I'm writing this, and could draw some backgrounds, I'd SO draw a detailed, colored piece of Kijo sitting in his fancy chair, turned away from Aloysius as he monologues, eyes intent on the screens watching the contestants. Like MMM I LOVE IT!!! It's so moody and I can just feel the atmosphere oozing off the page!! AAAAH!! Also, mentioning it now, while reading, to set the mood, I listened to some Pokemon music. And, since why not, here's what I listened to Here is Number 1 - listened at the beginning before it got epic. basically the first chapter only AND here is Number 2 - was a general listen. something eery but not horror like AND, my favorite Number 3 - THIS GAVE ME THE SHIVERS WHEN I READ CHAPTER 9 MY GOOOOOSH! WHY DOES THIS FIT SO WELL FOR KIJO?! Or at least, I fits for me at least! I could be wrong though! You can decide for yourself if it does!! Dunno if it's just be but my gosh and I just aaah! I can't even word it right cus I'm too busy being so hyped for this! Got the metaphorical chills!! Will totally draw art of this like, sometime. Might take me ages and I totally have to get better at backgrounds in order to draw these set pieces but like, yes!!!!!!
AHHHH. Got so excited while reading this!!! Thank you SO much.
But lemme go into what u said.
1. Kijo- he really does just suck. Guy couldn't care less about his children unless they're his heir. But also, he's entertaining. The stupid dude is just like that.
2. Byakuya- He really is the underdog, though he refuses to believe that. The thing is, he does think he is better than his siblings- he is destined to become heir- yet he can't exactly show it to them. He knows that they're physically stronger- he's a scrawny 11 year old.
But since he isn't heir just yet, he is not that overconfident. He knows that he needs to work hard to become heir. Plus, his siblings aren't idiots (for the most part) They're Togami's, and just cuz he is gonna be the heir, doesn't mean that they couldn't prose a problem, like a certain somebody.
3. The siblings- Yeah, there isn't much known about them since Byakuya simply... doesn't care. He sees them as his competitors, nothing more. Unless they become a thorn in his path to become hei, he just doesn't think about them unless the situation calls for it.
Like I said, he doesn't (fully) underestimate them but that doesn't mean he ever focuses on them. Their looks aren't really described since Byakuya couldn't care less about that for the most part.
I do have small descriptions for all of them tho if you're interested! Have a little page in a document with just a wee bit of info about each sibling. That also includes which THH character they represent.
4. The intermissions were also some of my fav things to write. Just seeing Kijo's thoughts on everything and how his... behaviour towards Byakuya changes a wee bit with every chapter is just very fun to write. And Aloysius goes perfectly with this since there is just such a big power gap between them which leads to Kijo being much more open.
And Kijo does trust Aloysius- in his eyes, he's the best servant possible. Doesn't change the fact he just sees Aloysius as a servant though... Poor dude.
But glad you liked it so much!!! For some reason, people really like it, despite it being such a small fic in my eyes. Can't wait to see what amazing art you come with once your artblock is gone! Be sure to take your time :D

Disturbing the black-furred monkey 😵💫😵💫
Where you spam Macaque with cute cat videos and more at four in the morning 💀
Tons of fluff and crack! No warnings. Only time where there isn’t fluff/crack is when macaque overthinks. Nicknames used: darlin’/darling, sweetheart n cutie (macaque to reader, reader calls macaque “Mac”). Reader was consumed by isolation in the past. Reader is close friends w Macaque, flirts w him, is a demon like him, and has an extroverted n lewd personality, Macaque has a crush on reader 💘
Recommendation: Listen to this song on repeat while reading!!
Macaque is starting to regret giving you his number. You pleaded with those puppy eyes that he desperately tried to resist, but ended up giving in and giving you his number for “work”.
Yeah, no. The messages were far from just work and business, but it was mainly you spamming Macaque with videos of cats, sending silly two cats together with the caption, “us”. Plus, dumb voice messages of you giggling, laughing, gossiping or even saying the most diabolical thing ever!
Stupid, so damn stupid, but oh, all these little quirks of yours only made Macaque more smitten with you. Not like he’d ever admit it!
The dark-furred monkey groans, waking up at night again for the third time this week. He’s been having nightmares recently, hearing muffled screams from the future with his six-ears. As cool as it might sound, sometimes, Macaque wished he didn’t have the ability to hear the past and future.
But the screams… They sounded awfully like your voice. Macaque quickly shakes it off, it’s a terrifying thought. He’s scared, scared of losing you more than he’ll admit.
He sighs, leaning back against his pillow and taking his phone from the nightstand, half-lidded eyes widened to see over twenty messages from you. It’s literally four in the morning, what are you still doing awake?
He decides to check each and every single one anyway, responding to each of them too. But he sighs in mock-exasperation listening to your voice recordings of you giggling to that video you sent him earlier. “For the Jade Emperor’s sake, it’s four in the morning. Darlin’, go to sleep.” Macaque texts, pressing the send button.
“But I ain’t tired, Mac! And I miss you, like a lot. You’re the only one that tolerates me, and you have such a sexy voice. Don’t worry, I’ll be fine. But I could ask the same, why are you awake?” You replied, and he could still practically hear your giggling through the phone screen.
“Please lemme come over, I’m suuper bored here! Anyway, that video was so funny, did you see the kid fall?! I mean, I feel bad, but I still can’t stop laughing.” Your text reads, and you send a cute picture of a white and black cat cuddling with the caption, “us?”
Come to think of it, Macaque kinda missed your face. Just a little… Or maybe more. That stupid grin of yours, your lewd jokes, and the way you make him smile like no other. You send another voicemail, and Macaque hesitates before playing it, “Would you consider jacking off to be a sport?”
Nope, Macaque immediately pauses the voicemail, flinching at the sudden loud voice of the emphasis on “jacking off”. He lets out another sigh when you sends another voicemail of yourself giggling. You’d always been one for these dirty and lewd jokes, but that made things all the more interesting.
Plus, the opponents’ faces were always priceless whenever you gave a show of your inappropriate humour. However, perhaps even a little surprising, you don’t have any other friend besides Macaque, consumed by loneliness. Your previous friends have all found you annoying and dropped you, and you haven’t had a chance to interact with the Monkey King, MK and his friends. That’s why you’re so clingy towards Macaque, because you feel that he’s the only one you can truly be yourself around.
Macaque listens to your messages, and a fond smirk creeps onto his face. As much as he pretends to be annoyed by your antics, the truth is that he finds them endearing. He can’t help but feel a warmth in his chest, especially when you mention missing him.
“Sweetheart, you know you’re lucky I tolerate you, right?” He texts back, his fingers dancing on the screen. “And I can’t help but be awake because of those pesky nightmares. You should know better than to ask me to come over at this hour. What if someone sees you sneaking into my place? I have a reputation to uphold.” His grin widens.
He can’t help but chuckle at the image of the kid falling in that video. “Yeah, I saw it. Classic. But don’t go around showing those videos to everyone, cutie. They’ll think you’re a bit too… eccentric.” Macaque teases, sending a playful wink emoji, even if he knows that you’d wear that title like a badge of honor.
Macaque rolls his eyes at your audacity in asking if jacking off is a sport. “You really have no boundaries, do you? Not that I’m complaining. It’s entertaining, I’ll give you that.” He chuckles again, shaking his head in disbelief. You’re a whirlwind of chaos, and he’s learned to love it.
Then, with a moment of hesitation, Macaque thinks about your request to come over. “Alright, fine. Just this once. But if you wake me up again with your shenanigans, I’m throwing a pillow at you. Deal?” He sends the message, feeling a mix of excitement and trepidation. Having you over at this hour might just be the highlight of his night.
Macaque glances at the photo of the cats you sent, a soft smile gracing his lips. “You know, maybe we could be like those cats. Just don’t hog all the blankets, or I’ll have to find a way to evict you from my space, sweetheart.”
“Okay, deal! And don’t worry, I’m gonna bring tons of snacks. We can eat and eat till our stomachs explode!” Your message reads, another joke that never fails to amuse Macaque. He turns off his phone and places it on the nightstand, leaning back against his pillow and staring blankly at the ceiling while waiting for you.
He can’t text anyone, not at this ungodly hour where they’re probably asleep. Sitting up, Macaque grabs the remote controller from his nightstand and turns on the television, browsing through Netflix for any new shows, or maybe to check if either his or your favourite show has continued their episodes. Unfortunately, nope, nothing for both of you yet.
He decides to watch a short horror film, about 25 minutes long. Macaque’s too lazy to get out of bed and prepare something to eat, so he just continues to relax on his bed. Besides, you’re bringing snacks anyway. Huh, speaking of you… The film has already ended, but you still aren’t here. You don’t live very far, about a 15 minute walk would have you arrive at Macaque’s place. He sends a few texts, asking you where you’re at, but receives nothing back. And it’s weird, you always respond immediately to him.
Worry gnawed at his heart, and he hoped those screams he heard in the future didn’t actually come true. Was it a warning, a curse that he’s able to hear the future? He paces around the room, mind coming up with scenarios of what could possibly happen. But you’re a literal demon, and he’s seen you in combat with your weapons. You can definitely stand your ground in a fight… But what if your opponent was stronger without your knowledge? No, he refuses to think negatively about you.
Just when he was thinking of looking for you himself, Macaque hears something at his balcony. He slides the curtains, only to see you blinking at him awkwardly, trying to walk through the balcony door. But your stomach’s grown large? Any average or normal person would come through the door, but nooo, you decide to make a grand entrance through the balcony instead.
You waddle like a penguin sideways, managing to fit through the door. You then lift up the jacket you’re wearing and packets of different snacks fall out, but half of them were Macaque’s favourites. You remembered, but you really were being for real about bringing tons of snacks. “Told ya I’d bring snacks-” You giggle, then cut yourself off.
Macaque can’t help but burst into laughter at the sight of you, waddling through the balcony door like a penguin. “You’ve got to be kidding me, darling! You look like you’re about to pop!” he teases, shaking his head in disbelief. “I thought you were bringing snacks, not a whole buffet!”
“No, wait. Mac, I’m carrying your child.” You add dramatically, then leap into his arms for a hug. You love and adore whenever Macaque catches you and twirls you like a princess. “I finally get to see you in person again. I missed you so much, Mac!” You smile, your grin widening even further when he reminds that you’ve just seen each other just yesterday.
“Exactly, that’s way too long to be apart from you! I was dying without you! You know no one adores you as much as I do.” Another giggle. “Okay, jokes aside, did you text me? Sorry for making you worry, I was busy tryna stuff all these snacks into my big belly, and it’s hard to text with it blocking my sight a little too. That’s why I took so long to come here.” You give an awkward smile, and Macaque feels relief wash over him.
He catches you effortlessly as you leap into his arms, twirling you around with ease. “You missed me, huh? You really are dramatic, cutie. But I have to admit, seeing you like this, it’s hard not to smile.” He puts you down gently, his heart feeling a little lighter now that you’re here.
“Ah, don’t worry about the texts. I was just… being a worrywart,” he admits, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. “You know me, always thinking the worst. But now that you’re here with your treasure trove of snacks, I think I can breathe a little easier.”
He eyes the snacks that spilled out from your jacket, both amused and impressed. “Alright, show me what you’ve got, darling! But remember, I’m not sharing my favorite ones!” He playfully narrows his eyes at you, knowing full well you’d probably try to snag them anyway. “And what do you mean you’re carrying my child? If that’s the case, we’d better start planning for a monkey army!” He adds with a wink, leaning against the door frame, feeling that familiar warmth spreading through him just being in your presence.
“Now, come on! Let’s feast like the royalty we are.” Macaque gestures for you to follow him to the living room, an excited grin on his face. He’s more than ready to spend the rest of the night indulging in snacks and sharing laughter with you.
“Okay!” You nod, joining Macaque with a bright smile. When you reach the living room, both of you sit comfortably on the cozy couch, dim lighting setting a warm ambiance as you watch the horror movie together. You’re wrapped in a soft blanket, leaning slightly towards Macaque, his eyes fixed on the screen. He holds a big bowl of chips, which you both reach into occasionally, savoring each bite.
Nearby, other snacks you brought are scattered on the coffee table—some candy, a bag of popcorn, and a couple of drinks within easy reach. You and Macaque’s expressions shift with the scenes—sometimes laughing at lewd jokes, sometimes gasping whenever a plot twist occurs, other times dramatically acting scared. But one thing is for sure—both Macaque and you are totally immersed in the movie and each other’s company, and you wouldn’t trade this moment for anything.
As the movie ends, Macaque finds you resting against his shoulder, finally wore out. After all, even a hyperactive demon needs rest occasionally. He’ll clean up the bowls, drinks, and the empty packets tomorrow. For now, he lifts you into his arms and heads to his bedroom, gently placing you down on his bed. He joins in, arms wrapped around you, and your body instinctively moves closer to him, your face nuzzling into the crook of his neck. Macaque finds himself closing his eyes too, and you both drift off into a deep slumber…
The next morning, Macaque was woken up by the sunlight, and he turns to see the clock that shows afternoon. It’s lunchtime, but because the two of you stayed up so late, he figured he’d just stay in bed a little more. The cozy atmosphere made it difficult for him to get out of bed.
Macaque stirs awake, the sunlight streaming through the curtains illuminating the room in a soft glow. He blinks a few times, trying to fully comprehend where he is. Then, he feels the warmth of your body pressed against him, and a wave of calm washes over him.
He gazes down at you, a fond smile on his face as he takes in the adorable sight. Your messy hair, the drool pooling at the corner of your mouth, and the way you cling to him so tightly—it’s all charming in a way that makes his heart flutter. “You really are something else, aren't you, sweetheart?” he whispers, brushing a stray hair from your face gently.
Getting out of bed with an adorable view like this? Nah. And besides, you looked pretty charming wrapped in his blanket, even with the drool pooling in the corner of your mouth, even with your soft snoring, and yes, even with your messy hair. You still cling onto him, arms wrapped around his chest. Then, Macaque’s came to realise that he slept throughout the night without any nightmares at all. As long as you’re here with him, he feels his worries wash away. If you just continue to stay by him, you’ll be safe, right?
“Everyone thinks I’m crazy…” You murmur in your sleep, a sign of your habit in sleep-talking. Whether you mean the stuff you say or not, well, it remains a mystery for now. “Crazy for you, oh boy…” Perhaps you’re dreaming about him?
When he hears your sleep-talking, his smile grows wider. “Crazy for me, huh? That’s what I like to hear,” he chuckles softly to himself. Macaque can’t help but feel a warmth settle in his chest at the thought of being in your dreams, even if he knows you might not remember it when you wake up.
He relaxes back into the pillows, wrapping his arms around you a little tighter, savoring the moment. The world outside can wait; right now, he cherishes this peacefulness. Thoughts of nightmares and worries linger in the back of his mind, but they seem to fade away with you beside him.
“Guess we’re both a little crazy, aren’t we?” he murmurs, pressing a light kiss to the top of your head. “But I wouldn’t change it for anything, darlin’.” He closes his eyes again, allowing himself to drift back into a light doze, content just to be here with you. The chaos of the outside world can stay at bay for just a little while longer.

Hi! Can you do a jj x reader with kids and someone get overwhelmed? Maybe like trip to the park and it’s kinda stressful with a toddler and baby?
Outnumbered
pairing: jennifer jareau x fem reader
category: fluff, hurt/comfort
warnings: none
word count: 698
summary: you get overwhelmed at the park with your two kids
"JJ where did Henry go?" I asked as I gave Michael his pacifier. This was the first time we were going to the park as a family of 4 and I was stressed out of my mind, I didn't understand how JJ was keeping a calm facade.
"He's on the swings."
"Oh."
"Baby you need to calm down." She said with a small laugh. "He's not gonna run away and no one is gonna take him. I promise." I nodded and smiled as Michael squeezed my finger.
"Baby, look! He just squeezed my finger." JJ laughed and moved closer to me, watching as Michael giggled and squeezed my finger.
"He loves you."
"He should love me. I'm great." I looked up and saw that Henry wasn't on the swings anymore. "Jayje where did Henry go?"
"Um...he's on the slide." As soon as JJ said that Michael started crying. My heart beat faster and I froze. If I paid attention to Michael and calmed him down then I would lose sight of Henry but if I kept watching Henry then Michael would keep screaming and crying. "Honey?"
"What?" I turned to face her, my face tense with anxiety.
"Can you take a few breaths for me?"
"I don't need to take a few breaths I need to keep track of Henry and take care of Michael all at the same time-"
"Baby breathe."
"I am breathing I just need to-"
"Hey. Look at me." Her voice was a bit more stern now. I turned to look at her with a frown, rubbing Michael's tiny belly. "Do you need to go to the car to take a break?"
"No I'm fine." She raised her brows, knowing I was lying. "Ok fine I...I need a break but I don't need to go to the car."
"Give me Michael." I rolled his stroller over to her. "Now can you keep an eye on Henry?" I nodded. I could do that. I could definitely do that. He was still on the slide but this time he was going to the swings again. He had a big smile on his face as he ran around.
"He's adorable." I whispered.
"He is, isn't he?" JJ looked up at me after she got the pacifier into Michael's mouth. "It's weird to think we used to be that little."
"Mhm."
"How are you feeling?"
"A bit better."
"It's ok to feel that way, you know? Having two kids can be overwhelming at times." I nodded in agreement.
"I just wish it didn't show in public." She sighed and nodded.
"Yeah but you can't turn it off, you know?"
"When it was just Henry it was easier cause we outnumbered him." I pointed out. "But now there's two and we have to divide our attention between both of them. What happened when they're older and they come up with some diabolical plan and we don't have the ability to stop it?" JJ laughed loudly.
"We're two FBI Agents. I'm pretty sure we'll have the ability to stop it." I nodded and leaned against her. "If you ever just need to take a breather, let me know. I'll be here for you, ok?"
"Ok. Thanks. That means a lot."
"Of course."
"Look, Henry's coming back."
"Mama!" He jumped onto my lap and wrapped his arms around my neck, getting himself comfortable.
"Hey buddy." I kissed the side of his face a few times. "Did you have fun?"
"Yeah! Did you see how high I was going on the swings?"
"I did, I thought you were gonna touch the moon!" He giggled as I started to tickle his sides.
"I'm hungry."
"Well what do you want for lunch?" I asked him. I could see JJ smiling at me out of the corner of my eye.
"Ice cream!"
"Buddy we can't have ice cream for lunch. But we can have ice cream after lunch, how does that sound?"
"Good!" I laughed and picked him up, holding him against my side as we walked back to the car. JJ was pushing Michael's stroller and I leaned over, giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Thank you." I told her sincerely.
"Anytime love."
