Here I am, ready to break down Lesson 39! The end draws nigh...
As always, spoilers for the lesson, including the locked and hard lessons, below the read more!
Um. So. Okay? I have mixed feelings about this lesson, to be honest.
The last couple of lessons were completely insane. So much lore, so much random emotional stuff, I know we were all in our feels about Lesson 38 trotting out Father's love and all that.
But then this lesson was just like... okay, time for fluff!
And I appreciate the break, but it feels like we just had a ton of drama and now suddenly everybody is just back to their usual shenanigans.
But I have to consider that this is Lesson 39. We only have one more. And before a season ends, they always do the thing where MC gets to have a moment with each brother where they can kiss them if they so choose.
And that was this lesson (well every brother except Lucifer but we'll get to him).
MC and Solomon are currently living at the House of Lamentation since Cocytus Hall was destroyed. Simeon is tasked with being the one to tell Solomon that he doesn't have to worry about being on cooking duty. (I wish they had shown us that conversation because it would have been both cute and painful lol.)
Lucifer and Satan have an argument about Satan wanting a cat. Lucifer is of course refusing to allow it. Then Lucifer decides to challenge Satan. He says if Satan can summon a white dragon that he'll let Satan get a cat.
It's quickly revealed that summoning such a beast is going to require a lot of power. Solomon himself suggests that MC channel the power of all seven brothers to do it.
And then MC goes around to each brother to ask them for help. When they do, that brother talks about how much they're going to miss MC and MC can kiss or hug them.
There were certainly a lot of cute moments. But it feels like such a weird transition after everything that happened in the last lesson. Lucifer is back to his usual self. No mention of Father or the Celestial Realm or being trapped in ice. It's like they all just forgot that even happened.
Don't get me wrong, this was a cute lesson and I enjoyed most of it, but the timing feels off.
I took a lot less screenshots because there just wasn't a whole lot happening.
There were a couple things that I thought were interesting, but for the most part this was just saying goodbye to all the bros before having to leave in the next lesson.
I don't wanna say this is them giving us a respite from drama because the next lesson is gonna be where we finally go back to our own timeline. Or the timelines merge. Or whatever they're gonna do. I'm trying not to hope for too much lol.
Anyway, Lucifer was over the top this lesson. Acting all strict as usual, being kind of a jerk, and then being exposed at the end for being a big softie for MC. Like why didn't he just summon that dragon himself? Because he didn't want to be so blatant about wanting to "bless" MC and so on.
Because in the end, MC uses all seven brothers' power to help Satan summon the white dragon. At which point, Lucifer launches into a whole explanation about how white dragons are seen as blessings before a journey.
Lucifer starts to deny it and gets cut off by MC either throwing themself at him to hug him in thanks or saying they love everybody lol. It's actually really cute, but why does he have to be so annoying about it? I have such a weird relationship with him... like he's annoying but I also love him?
But two things of note: we didn't kiss Lucifer, and Solomon very clearly said this was a good way for MC to practice using all the bros' power before doing it to go home. So I think those two things are gonna happen in the next lesson. And I think we are at the very least going to attempt to return to our timeline. Because while the bros and everybody else believe MC will be using that power to go to the human world, we know that it's actually to go back to their own timeline.
You're making everyone sad, Solomon. It's okay, I still love you. I was glad to see you at all this lesson, brief though it was.
However, I will say there were some interesting character points in each of the brothers' talks with MC.
First we have Satan, who says this after you spot a picture of him with his brothers in his room:
Uh huh. Sure you did. He also talks about how MC made it possible for him to find a way forward and so on, but I really thought this was the important part. In the beginning he was always talking about how irritating his brothers were. Now he's keeping pictures of them in his room.
And okay I loved Asmo's part?!?! He takes us out shopping for matching things because we lost all our stuff when Cocytus Hall collapsed. He's all let's get matching toothbrushes! Okay, you cutie. And then we stop at a bookstore to look for a book for Satan's summoning challenge and a stack of books falls on us?? And Asmo swoops in to save us from being crushed!!! Then after we kiss him, a book falls on his head and it's the exact one we were looking for!! It was so cute I was squealing the whole time.
Being completely honest with his feelings, as usual.
And then we have Beel being unsure of himself because of what his Lil D said to him:
I was glad I was able to tell him that I like him just the way he is. Because I do. :(
And oh Levi...
Here he is being all strong, even smiling, look at him! And then the second you hug him, it's all
It's more like I think it's adorable you dork.
And then we go for a lil ride with Mammon in his car and while I was hoping for an actual car scene of course that didn't happen. I have thoughts about car conversations and I also have thoughts about how I think that'd go with Mammon. But anyway...
He's so funny. Trying to protect himself by pretending he doesn't care, but doing a really bad job of it.
Then after we kiss him:
He gives up his act and tells us how he really feels. Classic Mammon.
And then we go up to the attic with Belphie. I have to say here that I don't understand why they had Asmo tell us in a hard lesson that the HoL didn't have an attic. Was it just so when Belphie went yandere on us it'd be more dramatic? 'Cause... I don't think it would've mattered either way. Who knows anymore.
Belphie being surprisingly chill about everything. Like more than anyone else, I think.
Of course they've saved Lucifer for the next lesson. We'll see how that goes!
Just a couple extra things:
I'm kinda with Mammon on this one lol.
OG reference!!! Does it mean anything?! Probably not lol.
He's talking about the guest room, not the attic. And I have to say I found this odd because weren't they always keeping the room open? Nobody was actually using it, they were all just hanging around in there. Like they always do, even when MC is using it. Like thanks I guess?!
Locked Lesson: Satan then attempts to summon a cat, but because he can't make up his mind about which kind of cat, he ends up summoning a multitude of cats. I fear this likely results in him having to get rid of all the cats, but they didn't show us that part. I suspect this is also the origin of the infamous cat ban. Lucifer said yes once, but it resulted in the house getting overrun. Can't they just let that guy have a cat?! I swear on my life, I want Satan to finally get a pet cat so bad.
Hard Lesson: Truly the highlight other than Asmo's cute part. Mephisto and Thirteen come hang out in MC's room. They're there for only a short time where we learn Mephisto doesn't like bugs before all the brothers show up and they have a Devil Kart competition.
But I found this part very interesting. Thirteen says the room seems really nice or comfortable or something like that and...
... Is this the first time anyone has mentioned the tree? Because I can't for the life of me remember anyone else ever pointing out the tree. And here's our boy Mephisto like okay but there's a tree.
After this we find out he doesn't like bugs. That's why he's concerned about the tree. BUT STILL.
I loved this whole part. I'm actually really enjoying the Mephisto and Thirteen dynamic. Like they give me potential BFF vibes.
They also say goodbye to MC, with a promise that they'll all play Devil Kart again. It was actually pretty cute.
I love them both so much. Is it just me or do these two have better characterization than some of the brothers? I love it and I hate it lol.
Anyway, we'll see what happens next. I'm hoping for some conclusion to all the nonsense that took place last lesson. For instance, we never found out what happened when Diavolo went to the House of Lords all pissed off. Did they ever figure out which demons agreed to imprison Lucifer? Is anybody even bothering to look into which humans agreed? Does anybody even care that Michael won't tell anyone which angels did it??
And what about Father? Does Lucifer really just accept his love again so easily?
Is it really just back to business as usual???
This game really needs to stop creating more questions and start giving us some answers before I do something insane.
You know what? They should fire all their writers and hire me instead. LET ME FIX YOUR MESS.
*cough* Okay, no, that would be a bad idea. And like what makes me think I'd do a better job, really? But they should do something 'cause I'm getting tired lol.
Lastly, I would like to leave you with this horrifying thought I had:
At the end of the season in OG, we would return to the human world, separated from our demons until the next season began at which point we would return to the Devildom. If we return to our timeline in the next lesson, do you think they'd send us back in time at the start of the next season? Instead of moving between worlds, we're moving between timelines? I think I'd rage quit if that happened.
Don't mind me, just speculating about worst case scenarios.
#one more lesson and then the season is over#and we get a break#though the last one wasn't very long so#honestly I'd wait a lot longer between seasons and lessons if it meant the writing improved#obey me#obey me nightbringer#obey me nightbringer spoilers#obey me nightbringer lesson 39#obey me brothers#obey me lucifer#obey me mammon#obey me leviathan#obey me satan#obey me asmodeus#obey me beelzebub#obey me belphegor#obey me mephistopheles#obey me thirteen#misc lesson recap#misc rambles

Hi, I just came across your au where Sam and Dream are like demons and Punz is an angel and they end up together and I was wondering if you have like some more lore for it? I liked the idea so like if you have more ideas I'd love to hear it. Especially if there's anything about Dream's and Sam's relationship before Sam got therapy?
Hi friend! :o) sorry this took so long to answer. I do not have a good excuse. I kept staring at my inbox and saying Yes I Will Answer This And Be Very Productive. And then I did not. Fuck.
While I don't have anything in my pile of notes for it from back when I wrote it, I do think Dream and Sam were more friends than dating each other before Sam went a bit off the deep end and put Dream in a cage. Sam has a huge jealousy kink, but before therapy he didn't think of it as a kink, was kind of ashamed of being turned on by his friend being fucked by other people (and then Sam fucking him and showing off how much better he was.) He tried very hard to adjust it to his more black and white worldview and his need to be righteous and just. Other men were touching Dream, being touched by him, when Sam could take far better care of him.
And it was Dream's job, of course, so it wasn't his fault that other people wanted him. Especially when his friend was just so! So-!!!! (Pretty wonderful perfect made to be held made to be loved.)
So obviously the solution is to lock him away and make him Only for a Sam.
On Dreams end, he enjoyed teasing Sam about how possessive he got when Dream came home with bite marks or with the faint scent marks of one of his clients. It was a bit funny to him, but if Sam wanted to fuck him until he forgot anyone else, it felt good to have that kind of intimacy with someone he really enjoyed being with- not even just sexually, but as a close friend. As someone who cared about him.
So he went out to his job, had fun with his friends, came home to his roommate/friend/big teddy bear who hoarded the covers and always managed to get peanut butter on his nose.
Dream didn't really have a residence up until this point, notably. He never saw the need for one. Didn't do a lot of sleeping either, because Sleep Is For People Who Can't Stay Awake, You See. When Sam got worried and coaxed Dream into maybe having a sleepover, Dream slept for a week, only waking up every once and a while because he was hungry. Since inccubi/succubi feed off of affection, whether platonic, romantic, or sexual, Dream's solution to needing to feed was to crawl into Sam's lap and cling onto him like a backpack until he was sated. Sam was, of course, very normal about his dearest friend relying on him to be safe and taken care of and loved.
Sam was earnest about Dream being So Good at his job and taking care of people, so it was kind of abrupt to be locked inside a gilded cage with his normally very silly Sam guarding the entrance.
I honestly haven't thought much about the Abuse and Bad Things That Happened, and I remember very distinctly thinking about how I didn't really want to think all that much about it, because we already have so much canon stuff to work with, and I am a very tired clown who just wants 30000 increasingly outlandish AUs where Sam and Dream kiss.
If I needed to have an idea, it'd be a thing where Dream, locked away as he was, wasn't able to feed from anyone that wasn't Sam, and Sam, in his weird, distressed mindset, wasn't always the best food. Pure Affection, untainted by negative emotions, is usually whats most filling and what tastes best.
(Self-love isn't sustainable long term, but its considered a good backup reserve when you're starving and in need. Dream... never really had all that much self-love in the first place. Confidence, assurance, but never love. Being locked away and hungry is not the best time to be having this realization.)
#ask boxed#I can potentially write more definitely for sure. I just need to make my brain actually start rotating again#I have more asks I need to answer and I apologize for the length of time this is all taking#i'm still being insane about my little guys I'm just. having trouble writing??? Its weird and I dont like it#I'm passing out now but if you would like something more specific just let me know. thumbs up. Collapsing into the mattress

I ended up playing more SoTE after a break of several days, actually some interesting progress but also two-parter!
1) Went to Scorpion River catacoms on accident while trying to explore that interesting area with RED Kindred of Rot, and was lowkey disappointed.. because it is a repetitive one. :/ I believed the previous catacomb featuring Godwyn lore was unique! But this one's purpose is to give you another Knight of Death weapon and another variant of talisman by Godwyn @ his Knights! 🙄
^....and also another Messmer's Knight Spirit Ash variant, when Andreas is the hammer-wielder variant! Though the bit about personal attachment by Messmer is a cool one! Same unique ash energy as Ogha or Finlay I suppose
2) Okay MAYBE this catacomb wasn't THAT repetitive since it featured unique mechanics of goddamn Basylisk statues shooting THESE GODDAMN STUPID EYES
3) Also if a second person in this world exists who has weird fixation of collecting everything even if they will never use it.. do not grind the Lion-mask Imps for the helmet. They do drop their swords, but not their helmets. Their head piece is FOUND in this catacomb!
Basically it is exactly what you think - it is on one of the platforms accessed by jumping on the spikey plate as soon as it got down and then getting down fast enough when it moves! Just boost your death resistance here since it is in the room with the rocky bridge!
4) Okay so after that I finally decided to go to the Finger Ruins now that I've learned it was accessible by normal means!!! That was so cool! Really large place with many nooks though;;
5) At first I thought these were snakes with arms and legs, but no! They're lampreys!
(Really liked how I could get this angle gfjyhf)
6) Whereas most of these enemies sorcerer (?) variants used the spell I wasn't familiar with, one of them was using exactly the same purple spell as ringed Fingercreepers use! I took screenshots of it and usually when I have to screenshot something too fast for the phone I just then take a picture of THE screenshot on my phone gfghvv This time I forgot, but yes I still got it on PS! This is really interesting though? I wonder whether lamprey people adopted it from Fingercreepers, or, since only ringed Fingercreepers can use that spell it were lampreys that taught them and gave them a catalyst!
7) I was running around the area for a while instead of getting straight to the point, staring at these formations wondering whether they are cracked eggs (of lamprey?) or the fingers:
I assume that they are the latter by now! They in many places look like they are digging out of the earth, they vary in sizes and often look multilayered more than cracked! Also since these giant fingers are also rocky and are shown broken sometimes!
8) This is actually really funny how there are canonically characters that were obsessed with researching Fingercreepers to the point of insanity, considering how I kept breaking my mind trying to figure them out at least four times gfhbbbgfb
And there is a ghost near which you pick it that does state these ruins are their place of origin! Damn my pre-DLC thoughts on Fingercreepers aged like MILK, granted today I finally nuked the post. XD
I am definitely writing it in the list of the times ER's lore transcended the narrative and effected the reality x) *looks at people who were brainwashed to think Shabriri's solution was good* look who is talking
9) Who wish to become fucking WHAT??
Just another normal day in the Elden Ring universe I suppose hfhtgghjh
10) Got this talisman after ringing that big bell:
I thought it was an odd choice of the reward, but I guess not really? Okay so, I returned to Ymir about it and,
11) Well I saw this 🌛
So he gave me a map and the talisman, and then had new dialogue about Marika and Miquella, further explaining how Erdtree thing was corrupt / doomed to rot from the start to explain why Miquella had to remove all of it from himself to actually get anywhere! That makes drop of that talisman from the rock less random.. They've connected the dots, they've connected them.
12) I start to understand why the girls like him so much from what I've seen, this guy really thinks on some other plane x)
13) The talisman that he gave also reminded me of Sellen's monologue about primeval current and how everyone were children of the stars after all and needed to return to them!
Honestly that stuff was one of my favourite niches to think about, and what I did not expect from the DLC was returning to these themes! Feels very comfy! Like, I got something I did not even ask for only because I didn't even hope for elaboration :')
14) He also could teach two new spells after this, that are basically just variants of one another:
I haven't tested them yet, but sorcerer lamprey in the Finger Ruins were using these sorceries I believe! They were also pale blue and ricochetting!
15) After that I of course wanted to get to the next Finger Ruins already, so I asked @val-of-the-north how do I get to that spot on the map without passing the Shadow's Keep.. Turned out that I don't. 🤡 That is pretty much the area I've been avoiding, but yeah, I had to make my way to it now! That's on the next post though I am out of screenshot spots 🌛
#elden ring#elden ring dlc#sote spoilers#gameplay log#screenshots#I think it is also fun to record my thoughts process as sort of live reaction gfbhjj#like it is fun to look back on it later!

"Harrow the Ninth"
13/02/2024
Reading progress: 100/507 (20%) Read through since last update: 100
*in the singing voice of Mariah Carey* It's tiiiimeeeee~!!!! I've got my hands on Harrow a few weeks ago and now I finally have the time to start reading it! I've been looking forward to this book ever since I read through Gideon and all my friends are already anxious for me to continue with the series! :D For those of you who stumble upon this little reading journal and have not seen me do it before, I just want to highlight that this is a public expression of my own thoughts while I read through the book. I like to speculate over the text. Since Muir loves to hide bits and pieces of information throughout her books, I like to try piecing them together on my own. It's fun and I feel like I'm conversing with her work in a way, like I'm a participant in the story. I know some people might find that annoying, but just let me do my thing. ^u^' (Just skip this post if you don't like it.)
----------------------------Spoiler warning!!!----------------------------
And now, without further ado, my thoughts and notes:
Who else needed an embarrassing amount of time to realize Ianthe was referring to Harrow when she said Harry? (Hate hate hate that nickname)
Yer a bone wizard, Harry.
The Noniad? Really? Really?
Well Harrow just took body dismorphia to another level. Painting a skull on her face with her own blood to feel some comfort? To regain just a little bit of control? Love her. Love love love her! She's such a mess. 🖤
Hold on. The Emperor says he hasn't resurrected anyone in 10 000 years. Didn't he... Become Emperor 10 000 years ago? Hm hm hm.
I'm managing to follow up on the time changes and the POV changes. As best as I can, of course. Obviously, I'm still a little confused at some times, but I'm glad some questions are slowly getting answered. Well... There's even more questions being asked, but I'm glad we get further insight to the lore.
I really missed Muir's writing. There's such a profound poetry in her style. I love it so much. 🖤
UGHHH!!! THE WRITING IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
The way Muir writes about Harrow and her life, especially about her childhood, feels so gritty, so powerful, and so incredibly raw. There's no possible way to connect to Harrow's experience. She went through so much. But the grief, the responsibility, the connection she has to her culture, to her planet, to her family and to her duty is just so masterfully written, I can't help but feel so drawn to her character. And her story. Man, I missed this series and it's only been 3 months since I've read Gideon.
It's way to early on to know who's the person narrating behind Harrow in "the future", but after the scene with Ianthe and the letters, I wouldn't be surprised if it was Harrow herself. Just from the past. I can't remember whether or not Harrow wrote letters to herself and I just forgot about them... Maybe she did. I don't know. In any case, I'm just speculating, but the way the narrator talks and offers up part of their own personality and parts of their own knowledge, I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out it's Harrow. (Well, she did write letters to herself as is revealed in some later chapter, but I think she did the same in Gt9.)
There's so much that is not said yet, but my go to reaction is to just accept it, not fight it. I am wondering where Gideon is, but at the same time I don't currently care about her whereabouts because it's obviously none of my concern. I am also a bit confused over why Ortus is being mentioned so much when he wasn't even involved at the whole Lyctor thing. Again, just speculating and throwing my 2 cents out there. I have full trust in Muir. Everything she writes is with a good reason. I'm presented with all of this information and tangled up timelines and conversations because I need to be. They'll add up to something more. I know it.
Speaking of weird timelines, I wonder where we're at this point in time. I feel like we're actually somewhere unspecified, that these chapters I went through were just a collection of memories, from the past and the future. So I'm wondering what is actually happening right now, but then again, as I already said, this doesn't matter yet and will be revealed later.
Excuse my philosophy. I might be entirely wrong. Don't take it personally, I just like to ramble in these little reading journals of mine, mostly because I like to look back at them and see how much I was wrong/right about my speculations. 😊 What I'll say is that I find Muir very clever as a writer. I like how she plays around with the narrative and makes the reader keep guessing. And I love to guess. I love to participate in her writing. It's very fun! It makes me feel like I'm a part of the story, not just an observer. If that makes any sense. 😅
OKAY! SCRAP EVERYTHING I SAID!!! The part about traveling through the River, the part where Mercy says that something can get inside the Lyctors body when their soul is separated from their physical form, that's the one!! I'm not saying anything more about my speculation, but I hope I have the right hunch about this.
(It will be SO fucking funny if I'm wrong about this, but I don't care.)
(Oh, on another note. That's such a super cool concept!!!! Love the idea. Love how much there's at stake!!!!!)
They're already in the River??? Nah, I'd die instantly. From stress alone.
Also, a little detail I liked is how The Emperor's eyes are described in detail. They're mostly black, but then there's a line where Harrow notices a little silver circle around them. I'm wouldn't outright say he's probably a Lyctor, but I'd say he might have also sacrificed/killed someone he cares about or his cavalier. I don't know, I just found it really interesting that his eyes are often mentioned as something strange.
BTW I love the heterochromia part. Such a beautiful way to portray the cavaliers have become a part of the Lyctors.

FSR Rambles 10 fingers in the aaaaa-
I don't let up on the fucking Vidow. The entire fandom has to just cope with the fact I'm a disastrous weirdo stinking up their perfect pure fandom, they cry themselves to sleep at the cryptid that stalks at the edges their fandom.
Weep you disgusting filthy bastards.
I bet you salivate at the idea of Vio's breast milk in your slutty coffee.
Lol I guess he fell asleep reading.
Shadow makes a very sinister face considering the goofy ass thing he decides to do with the sleeping Vio.
Hah. Vio screaming his lungs out got a kick out of me while drawing.
Shadow forgot Hylian's sleep for a reason.
He's just waiting for Vio to call him a moron, which we know again is because of Vaati and Gannon abusing this poor man.
Shadow's utterly shocked Vio doesn't have a single thing to berate him over hah.
Vio's so tired he just wants to sleep.
Shadow's feeling nervous to actually like, get cozy with Vio in this context.
Despite his seeming confidence the dude is insecure.
He is HESITANT to trust Vio to some degree, he's having second thoughts about his actions.
Vio didn't even SAY anything about the kiss lmfao. I'd be worried too.
This page is so sad to me.
Vio's feeling some regret while Shadow gets comfortable next to him.
HAHAHAHA.
Transition from being next to someone to being completely alone agh-
Shadow Link is in MISSERY-
Oof. Shit hurts.
The sword blast compiled with his emotional pain is just too much for this dude to handle rn.
Reflecting on his time with his "friend"
Guess that kiss in the library wasn't the last one...Vio seems reluctant to keep going back for more, pushing shadow off. We can assume why he shouldn't be doing that oops.
Shadow's not satisfied with that though and keeps giving our man kisses. Vio's really shitty attempts to bat him away aren't working.
It's safe to say: Vio lost the plot at some point.
It's obvious they're drunk as fuck, but the exact timing of this scene is up for interpretation as far as I'm concerned.
I do find it funny Shadow whines Vio is "So mean to him" just cause he won't let him shower him with kisses lmfao. Like Shadow he's about to do smth to you that's way meaner let's be real-
Shadow Link brings up the all to important LORE of the golden goddesses.
Okay but everything about this becomes ironic later lmfao I will not say how.
Cause the Triforce is like, non existent in FS I can do whatever the hell I want sooo I'mma cook. I like where I took it a lot.
Shadow's desires to touch the Triforce are uh...VERY EXPLAINED LATER to say the least.
Art wise in this page: Oh it was so fun.
1st panel: Shadow continuing to kiss Vio's cheeks as he talks. It's sweet in it's own weird way that he clearly cares about Vio a lot
2nd panel: Obviously comparing Vio with a goddess and the Triforce shows how much Shadow values this man in his life, cupping his cheeks while doing so.
3rd panel: They both just look cute. XD
4rth panel: Vio's visibly hesitant to return the kiss that time. and in the last panel we don't see his face, but rather get Shadow hugging him deeply.
Vio's still grappling with his actions are gonna catch up to both of them pretty soon.
Vio's utter heartlessness in the words he spoke to Shadow in the Fire temple must have HURT.
Shadow knows that he bold faced lied to everyone in that room.
Also to note: They CLEARLY spent some TIME together, as there's the scene of Vio and Shadow laughing together on some grass somewhere...
Shadow KNOWS Vio at least a little and he can't comprehend why he acted the way he did.
The last panel was so much fun I love how it turned out.
Okay but like: THIS LTIERALLY ALWAYS BOTHERED ME.
The idea Shadow betrayed Vaati being a fault of SHADOW'S character is such bullshit which just adds to the "Vio pulled this out of his ass" nature of his speech.
In every way: SHADOW BETRAYING VAATI IS A GOOD THING.
In WHAT WORLD is him turning his back on the EVIL GUY a bad thing???
His motives were 100% selfish but HOLY BALLS HE WAS WILLING TO GO NUCULAR ON GANON AND VATTI AND SAVE ZELDA FOR SOME VIUSSY. THAT'S DEDICATION.
Also, literally everyone's motivations for everything they do is selfish in nature, so the idea Shadow's the dick here is just, hysterical.
Vio was 100% projecting his own insecurities onto Shadow not trusting and being apart of his own team cause Vio's awful, cause let's be real: their situations are just NOT COMPARABLE.
Shadow's misstep no matter how you look at it, was trusting VIO. NOT betraying Vaati. HIS LITERAL POSITIVE CHARACTER ARC WAS STILL BETRAYING VAATI BY SHATTERING THE DARK MIRROR.
...SO WTF IS VIO'S SPEECH ABOUT EXACTLY??? IT LITERALLY MAKES NO SENSE PROBEBLY BECAUSE HE'S LYING HIS ASS OFF AND PROJECTING LMFAO.
Because his point wasn't "Find a team you CAN and DO trust and work with them." it was "You betrayed Vaati and you suck for that."
IT WAS PURE PROJECTION.
Idk if this is a translation oopsie or what. It was never brought UP so idk if it was even intentional or a genuine attempt at a moral going to shit and getting botched. X'DDDD (If it was intentional, that's funny but it was never expanded upon in any meaningful way so...IDK)
It gives weird as fuck mixed messages about what Shadow was MEANT to do here and what he ACTUALLY did wrong from Vio's chastising. Cause the reason Vio gives for his downfall is REALLY BULLSHIT. (In FSR, Intentionally so.)
Because
"Your downfall was that you were selfish and still wanted to rule the world and were willing to use used people like me and Zelda to do it, you just repeated the mistakes of Vaati" or smth would even be more accurate.
STILL HYPOCRITCAL ON VIO'S END CAUSE HE USED SHADOW BUT WOULD MAKE MORE FUCKING SENSE.
Giving massive rebound AU vibes here lmfao.
Audience is intentionally left in the dark about wtf Vio and Green were talking about...For no reason I'm sure. Authors don't think that hard about stuff-
Also left out on why they're sharing a bed. Bet that will NEVER get touched on. In ANY meaningful way.
The point of this scene is pretty obvious: Vio IS getting along with his team now. Which mega hurts Shadow to see ouch.
It's the equivalent of that Squidward meme of him in his house while Spongebob and Patrick run outside-
Green essentially has taken his place. Pain. We all know nothing but PAIN.
Shadow can't bare to watch Vio thrive without him cause he's selfish as fuck. X'D Just hurts too much. He wanted Vio to fill the gaps in his life and it just DIDN'T happen.
Haha you read the manga you recognize this. I don't gotta elaborate much.
I always just, am in love with Shadow turning into VIO of all people during this part in the story because, holy BALLS I can't even really describe the kind of itch that scratches in my brain but I will try.
So in FS, we KNOW Shadow can shapeshift into ANY of the Links, but he chose Vio. Dude has been Green/Link before so...WHY NOT GREEN? Uh simple: Bro adores Vio and looks up to him, that's the reasoning I came to anyway, as explained in these pages.
This is why in FSR in the library Shadow Link specifically describes Vio as "his hero". Vio's the one out of the four he looks up to most, because after reflecting Vio is the one that did the most "Heroic" things in his eyes.
He realized the betrayal wasn't out of malice or to hurt him, but to save Zelda.
The reasons Vio gives in the library for why he's utterly awful as a person are the same things that made Shadow respect his ass for what he put himself through lmfao.
This is also why in FSR dude isn't MAD at Vio for it anymore. He just wants to repair what they DID have there between them because bro adores Vio.
So if yall didn't know Shadow uses the mirror to see Vio.
Like, you can see him in the shattered mirror lmfao.
At least I THINK it's meant to be Vio. When I first read the manga I thought it was Shadow Link. XDDDD But now I'm fairly certain it is Vio. If we ever get a full color manga I'd love to know who it's actually meant to be.
Shadow's sad he won't know if Zelda's okay. Which is sad. And wishes he could see Vio, which is why the mirror SHOWS Vio. Lol.
Sad pathetic Vaati being hilarious aside, Vio being so distraught he drops his sword is kinda funny. And here's the retcon of "Vaati didn't die actually.
I already went on the rant in the actual thing that YES Shadow's death still meant smth despite Vaati living, because they wouldn't be able to beat Gannon without the gems Vaati gave up from this, so I won't repeat myself here.
Blue's "HOLD UR HORSES BITCH" is so funny to me because like, he HAS no emotional attachment to Shadow and the last they saw of HIM was him ya know, trying to kills their friend lmfao.
Vio pulling a very dying Shadow into his arms, because we deserved that. Green picks up Vio's sword cause he's cool like that.
Vio is OBVIOUSLY trying very hard to keep it together here, kept the dialogue MOSTLY the same from the OG because the dialogue wasn't the issue to me it was the freaking SHOT LAYOUTS AND THE ART. The art was well drawn but the actual like, things happening were kinda silly imo.
I particularly like the return of the "Shadow pets Vio's face/hair" motif.
It pops up in page 40
and page 77
And in terms of flashbacks in 169 Yes haha funny number He strokes Vio's cheek before going in for the kiss.
And many others but I'll avoid too many cause of image limits.
Shadow usually does this when Vio's upset which is funny. We know Shadow does stuff to others he wishes people did for him so maybe Shadow just wants his cheek stroked and to be told nice things lmfao.
Another thing: I mentioned it before but I don't really like when people make Vio cry too easily. Just not for me.
But Shadow dying makes sense for him to cry. Especially in FSR where we saw WAAAAY MORE of their relationship and how involved Vio really was with Shadow.
Vio, reluctantly did really like Shadow Link and is heart broken he is dead.
*I SUPER wanna show/talk about the "After they think they killed him in the fire temple" but there's a reason I did not show wtf Green and Vio were talking about when Shadow saw them in the dark mirror hehehehe. Vio's perspective on RIGHT after they blasted him with the sword is smth you can just speculate on for now.
He is obviously DISTRAUGHT Shadow is dying now.
So, its' implied Shadow saw some of the things Link was up to before he made himself known. So in my silly FSR comic he could see through Link's Shadow at what he was doing.
Art details:
Red crying at somebody dying just made sense to me it was actually WEIRD to me he didn't cry Shadow died. Not because he's emotionally attached, but dude's just an emotional person he cried at less hah.
Green STEPS UP and says his lines from the manga
I said in the OG post of the comic my thoughts on these particular panels but like
Green having just a TIIIIINY bit more agency in him holding Shadow's hand, a VERY simple gesture makes all the difference to me in this scene.
Shadow reasonably asks what we were ALL thinking: WHAT ABOUT ZELDA?!
Which OUCH, he didn't feel like he did enough-
To which Green comforts him they WILL save her.
I may ship Vidow to hell and back but Shadow's caring for Zelda and her affect on him is not ignored in this comic lmfao.
It's actually knowing Zelda's in safe hands that makes him comfortable enough to truly pass.
He knows Vio will be okay as he has his team but Zelda is someone he couldn't be sure about.
So panel 1
I just wanted to add the true level of "Yeah he dead".
Despite his hand passing through Shadow Link, Vio still tries to reach out to him. Which hehe reflects a scene from the very start of this comic huh?
He has unfinished business around Shadow.
He never got to truly say he was sorry.
If you've noticed, Vio STILL hasn't apologized yet.
Okay thumbnailing this scene genuinely gave me the big sad lmfao.
He missed him by a hair, Shadow's gone and Vio couldn't say all the things that were on his mind.
And since you totally asked:
Page 12 is put into a new perspective huh?
He reached him this time...
Green continues to be the goodest of good boys comforting his team mate.
There's an underlying sense of Green knowing more about Vio and Shadow's relationship than the other two...Which makes sense considering Green's the one Vio went to for comfort over the situation.
So some of the dialogue around Shadow's "good boy" status was changed because I just, straight disagree with some of the wording in the manga...
He did AWFUL things but he wasn't exactly a 100% bad person. Ironically, given a chance he could have been a great person. (The opposite of what he tried to do to Vio.)
His nature of being Link's Shadow, the HERO's shadow being on full display with his final moments (Or, what COULD have been his final moments...)
Blue's shocked Shadow would do anything to help them, reasonably so. His experiences with Shadow have been:
He tried to seduce their team mate to the dark side, almost KILLED said team mate, put them through hell and back and generally was awful to them.
Red sympathizes with BLUE (At least somewhat) so I imagine he's a lot more forgiving from this angle to Shadow. XD
Green's feelings about Shadow are a bit more OPEN to interpretation here but he did make an effort for the man to die without regrets. Later in FSR he seems to have a positive outlook on Shadow so whatever Vio told him might have made him more comfortable with him in these moments and the future.
I'mma cut it off here, which sucks because this transition is PERFECT into the next scene but I don't wanna hit image limits halfway through a rant.
Green continues to be a chad. What's new.
Him being in front of his team protectively is just...Yum. I love protective Green. XD
GANNON APEARS. Big piggy boy. I had no idea I could draw pig before drawing this and I'm happy with how he turned out.
His rant in the OG manga of speaking how Vaati and Shadow Link failed him leads directly into the next scene which was, delicious. But we'll pick this up later.
I'm sure you've noticed: As a time saving technique I only use shading when it SUPER matters in FSR. It helps save time and makes them have huge impacts. XD
The intense dark shading on Ganon makes him look threatening as HELL compared to what he'd look like without it.
For reference: This is what he'd look like without it.
He looks silly. XD
His color palette was based on the game btw. Because, what else did I have to go on? The intense shading also hides that he looks kinda out of place color wise haha.

"Deconstructing" the Dark Lord
There's a lot of things to be said about this character.
The most i usually say is "it's a mix of things that could have been seperate" and there's a good reason: He's a character almost made special by the ingredients combined that define him.
And each idea that represents him lead to fans expect anything but the final result and i believe even id themselves have second thoughts about this character (You've probably heard the idea that he was supposed to have a dragon phase).
So this post of mine is both me explaining why some fans didn't like the Dark Lord, while also thinking out ideas that could've worked or appealed more to fans.
Even if some of these ideas don't make a lot of sense or "contradict lore", it's more about Doom "being epic" and how some concepts rank in a "cool factor" for a series like Doom (At least considering some fans).
MAJOR SPOILERS, even if this is Doom.
"EVIL DOOMGUY"
People expected a 1v1 style duel where you fight a "mirror/copy" of Doomguy and not a "retouched Marauder" (This specifically feels wrong in the era of the series where lore matters a bit more and there's a special focus around Doomguy's current state as the ultimate demon killer).
The explenation of him looking like Doomguy may not help: I forgot but i think it's a weird context that means Doomguy IS the actual copy even if not intentional (To fans, Doomguy's appeal is that he was a random guy that got into a whole mess and wasn't always special).
And i guess how Doomguy's face isn't faithfull enough in 3D yet, but i mentioned that in a previous post of mine.
Ideally, "Evil Doomguy" could be like this:
Make the armor like the Immora/Skullface/Cultist skins where it's a demonic version of the Praetor suit.
Give him an arsenal of different weapons that are bound to phases.
The phase weapon system means he could start with a weak pistol and shotgun, like he's growing his arsenal by phases.
His weapons (Shotguns, chaingun, rifle, rocket launcher, plasma rifle, Gauss/Ballista equivalent etc) would have somewhat unique/different alt fires/mods even if their primary fires are the same as the player's.
At the last phase, he'd obviously have a BFG9000 and a Crucible with its own melee attacks.
Even his Chainsaw has melee attacks.
He can also double jump and dash, while also having his own equipment launcher cannon.
He can glory kill nearby fodder enemies for resources: THIS right here is his weakness, because he can run out of resources and has to fight for them like Doomguy does, so it's like a window of opportunity to hit him back.
His health bar has his own animated face on the HUD, just to show how much of a Doomguy clone he is.
At some point, his helmet falls during combat and he shows his face.
Lore: Make him a creation by Hell that exists as a mix of both fear and hatred Hell has toward Doomguy.
Alt lore idea: Remember Doomguy's boss that was mentioned in the D1 manual? Maybe he ended up going through his own journey through Hell and became an "Anti-Slayer" (And then his shoulder equip launcher is like a snake creature).
Stage? Maybe something like a "deathmatch arena" you'd expect out of Quake 3 or something, since a simple large circular area won't be good enough.
The idea of a rival for Doomguy seems special when you consider factors like how the Marauder still had a limited arsenal, when D3 has a boss that was Doomguy's boss turned into a monster with the BFG9000, zombie soldiers always carrying familiar/ingame weapons etc.
Plus, "evil version of the protagonist" is popular in some other games as well, so it's like Doom lied about its own version of it.
(Scythe 2 screenshot taken from Doomwiki, since the wad includes an "evil marine" that the player faces; Speaking of which, Colorfull Hell had a boss called "Player 9" that replaces the Zombieman and it's a fake deathmatch player invading your game)
Also, remember “voodoo dolls” from the Doom engine? Imagine if Doomguy saw these strange copies of him before facing an “anti-Doomguy” and the player even had to avoid shooting these Doomguy clones because they’d cost Doomguy’s health as well (Because that’s technically why they’re called “voodoo dolls” to begin with and are how some WADs get to do weird things not even id themselves considered).
THE "DEVIL" OF DOOM
Because if it's not the Icon of Sin, maybe "the Devil" could have been a bigger creature, almost like planet size or even "Hell itself" if you assume that an infinite, reality defying, evil dimension can be its own living entity.
A “planet sized demon” could easily be Doom’s version of Junji Ito’s Remina, like something as a follow up to “Doomguy shoots the BFG10K on Mars to make a hole” and even a nod to TNT Revilution’s first skybox, but with for example an Icon of Sin head attached to Jupiter or something.
So depending on how "eldritch" and giant the "CEO of Hell" would be implied to be, i thought of a boss fight where you're "inside the beast" and combines level puzzle elements with combat.
Visually, it has a weird surreal aesthetic like all the weirdest parts of Hell combined and some new weird elements.
But there's a variety of weak points (Some shootable, others punchable, even some where you jump on top of them like that "Jumpable" enemy idea i wrote before) where the Player fights the beast they're inside in, while avoiding hazards and traps to stay alive.
Maybe there's special artifacts or items (Some unique to this fight) to keep the player closer to their goal.
In general, this idea is inspired by stuff like the classic IOS and Quake's Chthon and Shub fights where the level design is part of defeating the boss (Along with D2RPG having the VIOS or something).
Then there's the seemingly unused "6 archdemons".
Maybe we could even go with the idea that Hell has a lot more "dark lords" because humans will never truly comprehend who rules Hell, as if it was meant to confuse humans.
Meanwhile, John Romero's SIGIL ending text had the phrase "Baphomet was only doing Satan's bidding" and the episode made use of Christopher Lovell's pre-existing "Satanic" artwork.
Also, the “real Devil of Doom” could involve a “ultimate endgame” style level where reality is falling apart and you see different assets of Hell/Earth/Mars/Sentinel Prime/Urdak/etc fused and mixed, while the level has non-euclidean geometry and gravity attached to different surfaces and even the skybox shows different backgrounds fused, to indicate Hell messing up with reality.
ALSO GOD
I think people were already fine with The Father, even if not with the twist of him also being VEGA.
But to think Doomguy technically "kills God" because him and "Satan" were the same thing seems odd.
Maybe this also depends on how people feel about Urdak and whether or not Doom is getting "less Christian" even if the series never tapped that much into "accurate" Biblical references.
THE MECH SUIT
It's something that could have been a super heavy enemy at best, like if Immora's army had mech guys or even if 2016's Hell Guard made a comeback with a tech aesthetic (Yet again, something i wrote in a previous post).
Davoth wearing this armor doesn't really give the idea of being "on pair" with Doomguy.
It's weird because the mech itself makes him bigger than Doomguy but he only has few attacks.
THE NAME "DAVOTH"
The use of the name “Davoth” and one of the concept art knight designs of the Dark Lord could inspire a tall humanoid Immoran knight that references Goliath; So imagine if Immora had a 12 feet tall knight named Davoth and he could be a miniboss or something.
The name itself isn't bad and neither is that "metal heart" thing on his chest, even if it sounds like i'm talking about reusing them for something else.
CHARACTER AND MOTIVATION
Might be getting it wrong, but wasn't he mad that he didn't found immortality or something and that lead to him being betrayed by his own servants?
Because when you think of the idea of Hell, you'd think he could have been "Evil for the sake of it".
May seem weird for a series whose appeal is "badass space marine destroys the ultimate place of evil".
IMMORA
Also something i talked about before but:
The idea of "Hell's heart" being a city with humans seems weird for, again, the place of evil where bad people go where they die.
And the sci-fi aesthetic seems weird, not just because "they painted Urdak red" but because the original games already had an idea of "Hell tech".
(Again, flesh walls with stabbing metal pipes and giant skull with computers inside the sockets)
When you think about it, it's as if Hell only ever had technology just to mock humans; Something in a "God creates, Satan imitates" way.
Even the Cultist Base aesthetic could've worked to suit the "evil technology" idea.
It's part of why i thought 2016 making it that the UAC created cybernetic demons is weird: It might weaken Hell a bit and take away the weirdness that the classic games already presented.
Because even if Hell had armies and stuff that almost put them on the same level as UAC/Sentinel soldiers, it should still have a touch of "evil magic" or as if something was created from a spiteful nature.
Indicating that Hell has a 100% evil "personality" that cannot be reasoned with.
And also, like i said: D2016's multiplayer had cooler demonic armor sets and the Reaper weapon was done dirty when used by the Demonic Troopers.
I thought Immora would work more if it was a "paradise for sinners" where its soldiers were sinners and evil former humans that were more competent than other former humans because they were "rewarded".
Maybe a legit Satanic cult paradise, where its humans are those that betrayed mankind?
And the fact that there's "humans" in Immora could justify them as "evil copies/parodies", so you could make demons that look "humanoid" but are still weird.
WHAT ELSE
It's easy to see that The Ancient Gods shouldn't have been made under a year one season pass release contract.
But i wonder if even without those limitations, things would change that much.
Because Doom was never a "lore bound" series, which is why i think there's an "easy" solution to "bad lore ideas": Just having a new game do things differently, even if they "break lore".
Perhaps the fact we even think of "how to fix the Dark Lord" means there's a somewhat positive impact on the DL existing in general: A reminder that Doom is fun to reinterpret.
Whether it's for fun or because some fans weren't happy with certain things.
One can also see thing as "fans making Doom more epic than it actually is", even if it's not new/caused by new fans when older fans were always doing that too.
"What about the dragon idea?" Maybe make that a seperate monster/boss, even with some homage to the D3 Maledict or even Quake and Hexen or something.
FooSarr did an interesting video about a demonic Wintherin, but i already posted it before.
And semi-related but Bethesda artist Jonah Lobe drew a "demonic" version of the Doomslayer.
Perhaps a criticism is that it factors too much into certain D2016 aspects that made the demons "even more alien than in D3", though this is a prespective worth mentioning in a different post.
Honestly, it feels like there's a lot of ways you can go with "evil Doomguy"; Again, me talking about Doom's "true versatility" even if it's too easy to talk about it than anything actually being made.
At least the idea of Doomguy being put to rest after defeating the main bad guy isn't so bad and i guess his theme song wasn't bad either.
Could have said something about the "final fight" starring the Sentinel army and how Doomguy needed to go to Earth to use the gate to Divum or something but maybe for another post.

Colostle - new fic, but not quite original
Two links, and an explanation
Colostle website, for an overview of the world. It's not really a fandom as such, but also kind of is. It's more lore than anything - it would be like writing Star Wars fic based in the PT/OT/ST era, using nothing more than the KOTOR/TOR info. Or HP-era based on nothing more than the Founders, Hogwarts, and spells (and I mean the canon knowledge of the Founders, not @deadcatwithaflamethrower's OALC, although that could be interesting too).
Squidge link for the current campaign. I say current - the story as it stands is complete even though the campaign is not yet done. You genuinely don’t need to know anything about Colostle, although a quick shufti at the first section of The World of Colostle page might help a little bit.
Explanation under the cut, because it's kind of long
For Christmas, I got what was at first a very confusing set of gifts from my brother and SIL.
(My early Christmas present was Covid, so I was in isolation. I find myself very fortunate I wasn't actually ill, although hello long Covid. But it meant they couldn't tell me an order in which to open things.)
The first was a beautiful notebook
Nice, but not an ideal size to carry around like I used to do with notebooks (and really need to start doing again) - it’s 1½” thick!
The second I opened was this deck of cards
Bit weird. I wondered if they’d made a mistake and thought these were the game, rather than actual, useable playing cards.
And the third made sense of it all: this book
Last week, I was out with my SIL and told her that I’d opened them in the wrong order, with increasing levels of confusion. Bless her - she apologised for not adding tags with numbers, especially once she realised we wouldn’t be together for Christmas. Hey, it all worked out.
And, I have to say, they've done exceptionally well with this. As a very general gist, it's kind of like D&D, except you're both the player and the DM, and you adventure alone.
The book gives the outline of the world - everyone lives inside a giant castle (a Colossal Castle, you might say), and there is magic that animates certain structures. (The website will tell you a bit, but obviously not everything since they do actually want you to buy the book(s).)
The playing cards are used in place of dice to determine certain events that happen, but how you interpret what actually happens during those events is entirely up to you.
It took me a little while to realise that essentially, it's a collection of prompts for chapters of a fic. And fic is what it now is - 13.5k and counting. The bones of the world of Colostle might not be original, but the characters and the fleshing out of said world are.
I have very much enjoyed my campaign, which has lasted a lot longer than I anticipated, and I now regret not using the lovely notebook, but I can keep it for next time.
(It’s also lasted longer than it actually should have done - I forgot Aces are low in this and based on Aces high I won a battle I actually should have lost. By the time I had realised, I was halfway through my notebook, transcribing to Squidge, and was absolutely not abandoning everything by then.)
Bro & SIL have also just given me the (first) expansion book for my birthday. I’ve actually been playing out parts of it without even realising as I’ve built my world! As for the rest, under normal circumstances, I would wait until my next campaign before adding in new material, but there’s two reasons why I’m considering adding it in now:
- as I said, the initial quest, and thus the story, is complete. The next part of the campaign is being treated as a new story in the series on Squidge, so introducing the new material as a potential new quest isn’t unreasonable.
- I stopped writing for a bit because in the latest round, I need to make a decision and I’m really not sure at all what to do. The new material gives me some scope that I might otherwise not have had, the impetus to move onwards. And it definitely has. I don’t know how yet, but there’s places to go and things to do.
ANYWAY - check out the story, check out the website. If the idea appeals to you, you can buy directly from the website, and they have both the hardback books and PDF formats available. I’m honestly half tempted to buy the PDF copies too, just for portability: they are not small - 12″ × 8½” × ½” each.
There’s nothing mentioned on the website about translations, but Nich Angell, the writer is very active on the Discord server, and back in September he said:
I'm negotiating with various European translation/publication companies at the moment for various different language versions of Colostle - I can't confirm anything yet, and its a slow process but I can tell you that I am working on it!
So, watch this space. Or, rather, that space if you’re thinking of it for a non-English-speaking friend.
(I seem to recall reading that English isn’t Nich’s first language, so I’m surprised it’s taken this long, to be honest!)
#colostle#fiction#my fic#yay i'm writing again#even if it's not any of the unfinished works#because why would my brain want to focus on those?

You can pick whichever or all of them, if you want <3 I just love your work, as it is known. Also, I wasn't sure if I had to pick one of the AUs but you can pick any of them or just share your workflow in general! 🌈 Rainbow - What do you think makes your story unique / stand out?
🌬 Wind - What was the easiest part of your WIP to write?
🌫 Fog - What was the hardest part of your WIP to write?
☀️ Sun - What's your favorite part of your WIP?
🌈 Rainbow - What do you think makes your story unique / stand out?
This one is hard for me to answer because I feel like I'm bragging, but in general I think it's worldbuilding + plot. Even for a modern AU like LLG, I put a ridiculous amount of thought into the ghost lore, and it's really hard for me to write a fic that isn't plot-driven. So a fic with lots of worldbuilding + abundant plot twists is probably my trademark.
🌬 Wind - What was the easiest part of your WIP to write?
I really love a flashback, and Enough to Go By has a lot of those. I really enjoy trying to fit the small ones into the larger scenes. There are a few bigger ones coming up, though, so I'm looking forward to what response (if any) there is to them.
🌫 Fog - What was the hardest part of your WIP to write?
SMUT. Oh my god. It takes me about five times as long to write my anemic version of smut as it does to write any other part of the story. The scene in Chapter 3 of Haunting for Beginners was especially tough, for a lot of reasons. I brought it on myself, but still.
☀️ Sun - What's your favorite part of your WIP?
I'm going to be garbage and put one for all my Shigaraki WIPs:
Enough to Go By - the scenes which occur in the gap between Seasons 5 and 6 of the anime. We're a ways away from them but I loved writing them.
Skin Hunger - my favorite so far is probably the last scene and a half of Chapter 3. It was not a happy chapter but I felt like it packed a punch.
Bloody Valentine - I like the scene snippet I posted, but my actual favorite part so far is the first chapter when Shigaraki and the reader get kicked out of chem lab.
Opposites Attract - the next official meeting between Shigaraki and the reader cracked me up while I was writing it.
Expiation - my favorite scene is the entire next chapter, featuring the duel between Sir Tomura and Sir Katsuki and all its aftermath. I'm excited to post that one.
Blind Date - the post-date post-op featuring the League, which will be in the next chapter.
Tam Lin - ...all of it? This one is weird and probably will be my least popular, but I'm so excited to add more of the legend into part II and III of the fic.
I have a feeling I forgot one. Why do I have so many WIPs.
Thank you for the ask!

The FNAF Movie
So, I finally just saw it in theaters. And I want to mention my theater experience was to me, pretty good. Interestingly there were four girls there that had Freddy, Bonnie and Foxy ears and they were dressed as their colors. I think the other girl was meant to be Chica but she wore yellow and something brown. And there was some blond kid in a green shirt who started dancing on one of the stands as the credits rolled...
Anyway, moving on.
I'll talk about my experience with the franchise and no spoilers here. FNAF was one of my "Special interests" but overtime I wasn't big on it anymore due to personal reasons. But I still wanted to see the film. And despite sadly seeing spoilers on Twitter. That's what happens when you like certain tweets and you only block FNAF movie spoilers.
I'll get this out of the way. The negatives. To be honest, I wasn't really that scared. Maybe because of some spoilers, and knowing these characters I didn't feel much. Yet I tried to think about it more. The film is more of a "Slow burn" in a weird sense. This comparison may seem horrible. It's more akin to how John Carpenter's Halloween was more like. A film that took its time setting the mood with its characters and not relying on things like gore and certain things.
But in all seriousness, the movie was good. Guess I'll just go into the positives.
Everyone gives a good/great performance. There's character development which is always great. The characters are pretty fine. The score is excellent. But also, the animatronics.
I love em. The puppetry and what they did with them. They were great. And the film was surprisingly wholesome at times. Yeah, I'm not kidding despite I saw and read stuff about that. It really builds upon the more tragic nature concerning the lore of the series if you are familiar with it.
Honestly, that's what I've heard and it's great it focuses more on I guess the "Loss of innocence" and how a certain event/tragedy may impact us and we may lose sight of what's really important. There's some powerful stuff in there.
Maybe because of sadly seeing spoilers and the film didn't feel as good as it could be. But in all seriousness, if you're a die hard fan, you're going to love it. It's respectful to the source material while being its own thing. And I like certain changes and whatever else. It's a fine film and again, it's only my first time seeing it. I may like it later on.
Overall, I liked the film. Even though I had some issues with it. It's a pretty fine film.
I'll admit, I forgot The Nightmare Before Christmas is playing in theaters for its 30th anniversary. I thought of seeing a showing soon. But I don't know if I want to force myself to see another film today. Especially the line was long and again, I don't want to force myself even though I love the film.
Anyway, I wonder if Filmento will make a video on this film. Wonder if he will consider it a success or failure. I'm just wondering about that because again, I felt like some things could've been dealt with better. But hey, 8 years of waiting. The film is finally here. You know what? Fuck it because I was thinking of a certain tweet. This is better than the Uncharted and Mortal Kombat live action films we got recently.
And also, I stayed for the entire credits.

apparently i wrote this in november i assume i never posted it because 1. it was stupid 2. drafts temporarily ate it thus 3. i forgot. it's probably an unfinished list of half-formed thoughts i dont remember what most of it says anyway end preface start post:
in the approximate month since i first played it ive apparently spent around 218 hours blocking out the horrors with dragon age inquisition at the time of starting to write this post. so heres my review but not really these are just #thoughts about an 8-year-old video game. this got out of control i need it out of my drafts but at this point i dont want to just delete it. longest fucking post ive ever written anywhere under the cut
initial + overall thoughts: i had low expectations and when i started out and the character creator sliders were different and the combat was different and the skill trees were sideways and you couldnt manually distribute your attributes and everything was hd realistic shiny raytrace 4k particle physics like youve never seent hem before and so on and so forth my kneejerk reaction having just played dao: awakening was "this feels weird, i'm gonna hate this." and there were a lot of things i didn't like about it but there were things i thought i wouldn't like that i ended up enjoying. the former was mainly plot and lore stuff and some gameplay mechanics and the latter was individual writing of many characters and level design and, most surprisingly, crafting (i liked the masterwork material stuff)
THOUGHTS ON PLOT: as stated above i thought it was some silly shit but i'm gonna keep it vague because zeroing in on each point i had issues with or just thought was lame would make this post even longer than it's going to be. so like the thing is i thought the game before this one was also fucking stupid however da2 got a pass from me because, in addition to it being produced in a time frame far too narrow for what it was supposed to be, it's all SO melodramatic and half-baked and so many things go nightmarishly wrong for hawke and pals that it loops around to being fun. inquisition i assume is also supposed to be an emotional rollercoaster but nothing really hit for me like some parts of da2 did. obviously that in itself isn't a bad thing, and it could partly be a me problem. hold that thought and peruse two paragraphs of rambling that i don't want to cut out but would fit even worse if tacked them on the end of this section.
one big thing i noticed is that inquisition feels less concerned with your character's background and their personal journey over the course of the game. i realize i'm not alone in this sentiment but that's the consequence of playing a game 8 years late. at times it was hard to pin down exactly why my inquisitor felt so flat compared to to my wardens and hawkes, but—when it wasn't a majority of the voice lines being read in almost the exact same cadence—i think it had something to do with the fact that the game starts with its focus on introducing the first big universal threat rather than introducing you to your character. your background is a short paragraph on the character creation screen and it gets referenced a few times for light flavor and if/when people are being racist towards you (i played as an elf) (i have thoughts on how odd playing this game as a dalish elf felt but nothing that hasn't been said before by pretty much every other person who's played as an elf)
in contrast origins has its backgrounds that each set a distinct tone and serve as introductions to various aspects of the da universe as well as giving context for how your character became a grey warden while leaving enough blanks for you to feel in control of your character's personality; similarly, da2's entire first two acts detail how a guy with nothing but a magnetic personality and the power of These Hands* became so respected by the freak shits running the city he fled to from his plague-ridden homeland that they turned to him to resolve their nuclear slapfight. in inquisition you're a pariah for the first like five minutes and then everyone realizes your special hand makes you the only person capable of fixing everything and after passing out from the power of your own earthshattering swag you awake to find yourself effectively in charge of an organization devoted to being heroic. life hack i guess
*not to be confused with inquisition's The Hand
inquisition's main theme, i think, was the past; looking at the past and its inhabitants for what they really were, even when the truth challenges one's beliefs. it's a clash between the past and the present for control of the future. the inquisition unwaveringly pushes towards the future even if it means discarding the past; the main villain, literally one of the guys whose foolery and fuckery spawned the chantry's canticle about evil mages walking into god's house and trashing it, is a walking relic of the past and he clings to it even as he's losing, crying out for The Old Gods to save him as you strike the final blow. you wage war on his supporters, you find the cracks in his armor, you kill his lame ass dragon because that's the only way to ensure he's dead for real this time or some shit, you kill him, you kill the past. it's a fitting theme for a game that strays so far from its prequels in almost every aspect to have woven into it.
near the end i took a break to finally play origins' witch hunt dlc and realized that that was where the concepts of fade rifts and eluvians and morrigan having mysterious motives were first established which provided context for parts of inquisition that i previously thought had been pulled out of someone's ass. 99% my bad for assuming a dlc wouldn't contain seeds of main plot points given that inquisition's main villain is the jokester from da2's legacy dlc but arguably 1% not my bad because my assumption was based on the amount of shit from origins that either didn't matter later in the series or underwent changes so drastic they bordered on retcon.
i thought it was funny that the mage-templar conflict that was built up over the course of the first two games escalated off-screen to a war that you personally ended in main story mission 3 of 10 (11 counting the trespasser dlc) and then the chodester whose shit you kicked in in legacy shows up and yoinks the spotlight. sure legacy ends with the implication that you haven't seen the last of his funny ass but if i hadn't already spoiled his role in inquisition for myself i would've been like no way it's this guy again you are shitting me. there's another bigger villain after this one right? but no it's just him and his pet dragon and then your shiftiest companion who is definitely a mortal being steals morrigan's "i have...... plans. goodbye my friend" bit except with more of a lore dump because he physically can't shut the fuck up. also objectively funny that you can have your character become convinced that they have indeed been sent by god to build a paramilitary force so powerful it starts freaking people out. the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a cult is a good guy with a cult
OTHER WRITING THOUGHTS jesus fucking christ this post is long: i liked a lot of the writing on an individual character basis. i had warmed up to pretty much every companion i wasn't big on by the end of the game, i think because i took the time to chat with them when given the option to and did everyone's personal quests. they all have at least one moment where it becomes clear why they are the way they are, what experiences have shaped their values and worldview and personality. i did not like that the wardens were fully turned into another dumb asshole brigade which is another thing that started in legacy that i wouldn't have expected to continue in a main installment, in this case because iirc the wardens trying to summon a darkspawnimation whatever the fuck in legacy were just some fringe weirdos in the desert? maybe i'm remembering wrong. anyway yeah remember when the wardens were scapegoats in origins well this time they're bad for real* to fuckin uhhh make a point about how anyone can become corrupted or something idk you can still collect grey warden decorations for your nice guys inc. headquarters though and nobody gives a shit
*"what about the time those fereldan wardens tried to overthrow king arland in 7:5 storm" not my prablem
THOUGHTS ON LEVEL DESIGN AND VISUALS: uh i wasn't expecting this game to be so big for some reason and by the time i finished i was a little over it but initially i was pleasantly surprised that there was still more to see wherever i was and excited to explore it all. aside from one cave in the storm coast where my party would get stuck in a corner and some rare (completely optional) pure platforming that was placed in the game by devils to taunt completionist dickheads like me every area is laid out really well
#final editors note what is it about this series that makes people physically incapable of shutting the fuck up about it#ive never willingly had this much to say on paper about anything else ever genuinely unrecognizable behavior

YIPPEEE
Ok, so this is a world with a different pantheon of gods, a pantheon I made up called the planetary pantheon, named after the planets but not in a roman mythology way. Their attributes were part inspired by actual things, but mostly just my brain doing. associations. This is jsut the gods and their lore
I am not well about the gods in this au and you will be able to tell.
Here are the main gods:
Mercury: sea, stars, mischief
Venus: sun, leadership, education
Mars: electricity, fire, mechanics
Jupiter: human brain, joy, mischief
Saturn: healing, kindness, flowers
Uranus: anger, war, protection
Neptune: music, beauty/romance, deception
Pluto: home,love, family, death
Venus is the queen, and they are born in order of the planets, so Mercury, Venus, Earth (we'll get to her), etc. Pluto is a planet bc I said so. They are all siblings.
These gods don't exactly match the pjo gods, but here are the kids who end up in which cabin
Mercury: Poseiden
Venus: Athena and Zeus
Mars: Hephèastus
Jupiter: Diyonous+Hermes
Saturn: Apollo and Demeter
Uranus: ares
Neptune: aphrodite (and sometimes apollo)
Pluto: hades
The stars in this universe (including the sun) are considered not sentient, but books or signs that can give knowledge and know a lot (can u tell I'm an astrology person yet)
So, to understand gow this world came to be and how these gods were formed, you gotta know the lore. So here's a condensed version of the planet au lore. (Future clem, I could not condese it)
Tw: themes of parental abandonment, ridicule toxic family environment, and murder
Two beings emerge from space, Genge first and a little after his wife Dawe. They fall in love and basically spend their time travelling around space and asking the stars for wisdom. Boring, but who am I to judge. So they're doing their thing and then they ask the stars: heyy what should we do. The stars say have a baby. And so they have twins, and they name them Mercury and Venus. They weren't really gods yet. They didn't rule over anything. In essence, they were children who played and enjoyed each others company and, in general, had fun (im unwell about the gods in this au, btw). So they wandered with their parents, until the stars entreated the parents "have another baby!!". So they did, and that child was weird. Mecore. Earth was a child who didn't seem content to roam around and seek knowledge. She was ever shifting, ever changing, she was too strange. She knew both too much and too little, she was too attached and not attached to much at all. She had things that her siblings lacked. And they tried, to put up with her, but eventually the parents simply decided she was too much trouble and let her stay on her own planet to be strange alone forever. Gods are...quite human in this au, as they are in a lot of pantheons. So she is forever tainted by a deep loneliness and bitterness that defines and permeates her. That'll come in handy for later. So, after doing child abandonment (beryl grace core) Genge and Dawe let their two children, who did still miss their sister walk away from her, and eventually forget her. We'll, sometimes they'd visit, when they got older, but they'd get bored of her very quick, and it wasn't like the parents approved. Genge and Dawe had more children after earth, and none were as strange as Earth was. While they all had attributes, strange ones, they weren't as strange as earth was, she pulsed and buzzed and changed. And struggled. And soon everyone forgot about Earth, and they grew, well in the way a god can grow. And everything was fine. Or WAS IT??
It was not fine when (ok, so this bit isn't very well thought out yet, so bear with me) evil spirits from space attack earth. If earth's siblings or parents had been there to help her, she would have made it, no doubt about it. But her siblings didn't come until it threatened them, and by then, she was weak, in pain. Her parents admonished her and said that she might have to live with them if she wouldn't bother them. Earth was devasted that a lot of the life there, that she adored, held dear. The life she found to be hers, that she stood alongside and danced with and smiled with and revealed herself too. A lot of it had gone. All of the humans, who she adored, gone without a trace of anyone to remember they were alive for that. At least her beloved dinosaurs, among other creatures, had left bones... but who would find them. All of the things she held dear had been broken. No one came to help her. Many of them scoffed at her fpr caring about them so much. And that pushed her over the edge.
And so, in her weak, feeble, embarrassed moments she took her final stand, and killed the two in the crowd who were laughing the most, sneering the most. She did some PARENTICIDE BABY LETS GO. After basically murdering both of her parents in front of her entire family, to avoid the wrath of her siblings and to be at home in the palce that she loved, she took one final breath and gently absorbed herself into the earth. So the earth isn't a god, but she is. Her love, pure love for her planet, led her to become her planet, and every time someone in this au loves being on earth, they love her, they give her the love she never received in life. She is in every ecosystem, essentially the building blocks of the planet, and she became what she loved and killed the people who could not love her, and her strangeness is everywhere. And everyone.
Anyways, all of her siblings, after essentially seeing HORRIBLE TRAGEDY unfold before their eyes, really wanted to blow up earth. Destroy it, or at least LEAVE IT ALONE and never see it again. But the stars said no. The stars knew the earth was important and that each God would have to accept an attribute, nurture it, and watch it grow. And so now the gods watch over and interact with the world, in their respective personalities.
God I love telling that story. The urge to turn that story in the style of like a children's folktales is real.
I meant to condense that. I failed
Anyways that's really long and I need to get on my jammies. I have a tag #planet au which explains more stuff. That's jsut the god stuff
Do u wanna hear about my pjo worldbuilding au
YES PLEASE!! YAP TO ME I LOVE READING YOUR POSTS
#planet au#ugh this STORY#the gods. in this au#have ME ILL#also some does PATRICIDE#you know its a clemetine official when someone kills their dad#and their mom but ALSO DAD GO EARTH#percy jackson#tw abandonment#tw murder#tw ridicule

I got my second rabies shot today. James says I have to stop joking about the rabiosexual Tumblr lore. But besides that microagresion today was a good day. My hand is moving better. I felt mostly good. It was a good day.
I slept alright last night. I had weird dreams and getting up was hard. But I got up and things were alright. My hand was able to flex more. And the wound on my palm wasn't looking as scary.
James walked me out to the car. And they biked to work. I went to get breakfast. And then drove out to camp.
It wasn't a bad ride. People keep driving crazy but no accidents were seen today. I just enjoyed my music and tried my best to wake up.
I got to camp and it was already hot. I am surprised we didn't hit the 100s because it was not comfortable. I was just sweaty all day. The air felt oppressive. Even up at arts where it is usually comfortable. But I tried to stay positive.
I was feeling better, despite the heat. I would get pretty nauseous for a while after taking the antibiotics, but I was in a good mood. I spent the first part of the day just getting set up. And sitting in my hammock until my first group.
All my groups were great today. I had two in the morning and two in the afternoon. And I have no real complaints. Though one child got really uspset when he didn't finish his art and was about to start scream crying when I said hey you can finish it at home and he was like. But I don't have this color pencil!!!! And I was like oh bet, you can just keep that. And instantly he stopped crying. His councilors acted like I was a wizard.
I wasn't in a rush to do anything today. I did catch up on my knitting. And worked on some bracelets. Did some prep for my classes. I enjoyed just watching the kids work, and it made me feel nice that they were all so into the project.
Candela, one of the international counselors, made me feel nice when she said she couldn't be a specialty counselor because it was just to much. And I was like. I feel like everyone thinks I'm lazy so it makes me feel nice to be recognized for all the prep and planing and stuff that goes into my groups. Cause even if it looks like I'm just chilling, I can do that because I have done so much work.
I had an extra hour break this morning so even though I was to hot I did walk to the office to get a new power strip for the sewing machine we are using next week. And checked in about a few other things before heading to the dining hall.
I used the wifi to get theme stuff ready for next week. And at this point in the day I was feeling pretty nauseous and not great. Just wanted to lay my head down. But I still helped a little getting lunch ready. And enjoyed eating with Laura. I also got to give her and Ibti their pottery and they seemed really excited about them so that was nice.
I went back to arts for my last two programs. And it was a nice afternoon. I had an older girl group at the end of the day and I brought my birthday book and we read some people's zodiacs and horoscopes and it was just a really nice time. They were so goofy and it made me feel happy.
I was excited to get to go home though. I had to get back home to wait for James so we could go get my next vaccine.
I was pretty tired driving home. I had made my little caffeine drink and it helped but I was struggling. I made it home safely but it was hard.
James wasn't home yet so I laid in bed until they got back and after they changed their shirt we went to the ER.
We had to wait a little longer but we were only there for an hour and a half total. We got a parking space right out front and they were very kind. We did not get to be in the fancy room but that was alright.
The staff thought we were funny. James forgot their phone and so they were just telling me facts about ancient Rome. When the nurse was getting the shot ready she was laughing at us because we were being so silly. Saying I could tough any raccoon I want now. And she also said we were very cool when we said we work in musuem. But James had questions about how the medication worked and why it was named something and we were just having to much fun.
The doctor also looked at my hand and she said the reason it has been curling is probably because the tendon was punctured! That was probably the sound/feeling I experienced and so now I have to keep an eye on that because that could be a highway for infection. Wild. But she said it looked like it was healing well right now. Made me feel a lot more secure.
Turns out I don't have to go back until Sunday and then again the following Sunday. So that is nice I guess. More time to get my wound checked on will make me feel good about how it's doing. But in the meantime they said soaking it in the saline water solution was a good plan and that we were doing a good job. I said we are first aid certified!
We had to wait 15 minutes after the shot. I set a timer. And we sat on the end scrolling through James's Twitter feed on my phone. And then we were free.
We went and got groceries. I got James to buy a plant. Everything was so expensive but we got snacks and things to try. I got the last peanut butter on the shelf. We did our best.
We got home and James made me a cheese plate with watermelon. And we worked on making posters for the wedding. A timeline poster (instead of a program), and started designing the seating chart. We have decided we needed mascots for the posters. They are only slightly silly. It was the most excited I have felt though so I'm holding onto it.
I would sort out my camp clothes. I brought all of my clothes home and decided on what I haven't worn yet and put that away. I refolded everything I would be bringing back and I feel good about the choices. Won't feel as overwhelmed anymore I hope.
Eventually, after laying down for a bit, I got a shower. And put medicine on my psoriasis and my hand and now we are in bed.
I hope tomorrow isn't as hot. I hope you all sleep great and have a fun day tomorrow. Take care of each other. Goodnight!!

Psst, how did you like Impostor Factory? 👀(asking as one of those 5 people that like the game lololol).
hey hey!! (spoilers ahead obviously) overall, i loved it! there's just something about these games' writing and the music(!!) that i adore, and the art is simply wonderful, you can tell more people worked on this one. i did find it relatively short (to the moon and finding paradise took me like 5-6 hours and this one i was done with in less than 4 hours), but i believe in quality over quantity so that's not really a problem.
(the rest under read more because i typed so much more than i expected to lmao)
i did not expect it to end so soon if that makes sense, like it's not often that i play a game and i'm like 'oh, so what's next?' and then i see the credits roll lmao. i liked the story overall (i called it so early that quincy and lynfri were you-know-who's parents which made me feel really good during the reveal lol... but maybe it was just really obvious), and it provided some nice backstory for them, which genuinely got me emotional multiple times!! itheir story felt really.. human, with their happy but also sad moments, and it made me think about the decisions they had to make, how there simply wasn't always a correct answer - i love when a good story makes me think! the thing is, the game to me felt like a good setup to a next game, now that we know more about neil, but sadly it seems there won't be anything new, at least for a while which i'm kind of sad about (there was a nice comic that you could buy with the game which provided some cute extra content, which will have to do i suppose!). i'd just love to have another game with neil and eva! it just kinda felt weird we actually got their wedding but... it wasn't real... relatively to the real world at least, y'know? so i couldn't really be that happy about it 😂 i really hope we'll get at least one more game even if it's just to wrap up their story.. but if that even happens, it might be another like 6+ years again before it happens (still huge respect to the team for making multiple pretty big game experiences like this, god i love indie games!!) i feel like i'm sounding a bit negative though which is really not how i feel about impostor factory as a whole because i had such a blast playing it! such fun characters and reveals, emotional lows and highs (yes mr kan gao congratulations i cried at one of your games again), and the inception-like stuff going on with the simulations was... a lot, but really interesting to think about even if it was a bit over the top sometimes (it was so cool to see faye again!). and then of course neil, whom we love for the idiot but also genius he is.. i don't know what's going on in his mind or his machine or even in what reality/simulation everything is happening but damn i do love the mystery! i just wish there was more neil (and eva) in this game, but that probably also has to do with me expecting that a lot more before the game came out. to be honest i gotta play through all the main games and the minisodes/a bird story again to get a better overview of the lore because it's been a while since i played through everything, so there may be some clues i'm missing because i forgot about some stuff 😂 so in conclusion? absolutely loved it, not as much as the other main games but i still enjoyed it a lot, and i will be listening to the soundtrack for a loooong time to come, they did such a good job! god i'm sorry this got so long, i hope it doesn't sound like too much nonsense lmao! please let me know your thoughts if you want to!

Butterflies Pt.2 (Final)
youtube
Description: Conclusion of Butterflies (which Butterflies part 1 was the first thing i have ever written).
KEY: (Y/N) - your name, (N/N) - nickname, (Y/F/D) your fave drink.
(Y/N's) POV:
After Cas told me how he felt about me, i left the bunker to get my thoughts in order. "Cas has feelings for me, since when?" i asked myself, while deep in thought. I made it to the bar in town where all of us usually go to get a drink, because i wanted to be alone for awhile with my thoughts.
When I sat at the bar I ordered a (Y/F/D), to drown out the emotional state i'm in.
"Uh i'm sorry to ask, but are you alright?" said this guy who sat next to me at the bar.
"I'm fine just going through some stuff at the moment." I said to him.
"Oh ok, want to tell me about it?" he asked me.
I was hesitant to talk about my personal matters with a stranger I just met at a bar; but I decided to tell him everything. "Um, well you see, my best friend used to never keep secrets from me." I tell him.
"Oh, what secrets did he keep from you? If you don't mind me asking." he said to me.
"Oh I don't mind you asking at all." I said to him. "You see my best friend has feelings for me, and he just now told me about it now, and he's had these feelings for awhile now." I tell him while getting a little frustrated.
" Oh wow, you know what's interesting?" he asks.
"What is it?" I ask him out of curiosity.
"I'm going through the same thing with my best friend as well." he says.
"Oh wow, we are in the same boat right now, that so weird." I said smiling.
"Yeah I know right." he said while smiling as well.
"I'm sure the both of us can get through our situations." I said to him.
"Yeah for sure." He agreed with me.
"I'm sorry, but didn't ask you what your name was." he says a little embarrassed.
"Oh that's right, I just got so caught up in our conversation, I forgot to ask you what your name was to." I also say a little embarrassed. "My name's (Y/N) by the way what's yours?" I asked.
"My name's Josh (Sorry if your name's Josh)." he tells me.
"Well it was nice to meet you Josh, and thank you for talking to me, I really appreciated it." I tell him.
"It was nice to meet you and talk to you to (Y/N), and it's no problem i'm glad we talked." he says to me.
It was great talking to him, considering we're in the same situation, so he understands what i'm going through.
"Well i'm glad we met, and I got to talk to someone in the same situation as me, i'm glad someone understands what i'm going through." I said to him.
"Same here (Y/N), i'm glad we met to." He says to me.
After we talked for a little while longer, I decided to head back to the bunker. I waved bye to Josh before I left and he waved bye back at me and then i left the bar. Then I headed back to the bunker.
On my way back to the bunker I started to think about what Cas told me. 'I love Cas to, as more than a friend, I am in love with him too. I need to tell him how I feel, I will tell him as soon as I get back to the bunker.' I thought to myself, then I headed back to the bunker.
Back at the Bunker:
Cas's POV:
It's been about 3 hours since (Y/N) left the bunker and I got worried. I didn't know where he went after leaving, so I went to talk to Sam and Dean. They were sitting in the library reading some of the lore books, for when they come up against some other monsters.
"Sam and Dean." I say concerned. They looked at me with worry i there eyes.
"What's up Cas?" Dean says.
"(Y/N) left awhile ago and hasn't come back i'm worried about him." I tell them with worry lacing my voice.
"He probably just went to the bar in town Cas." Sam says in a calm voice.
"But he's been gone for like 3 hours!" I shouted at Sam and Dean, not meaning to.
"Cas calm Down, he's usually at the bar all night when he needs to think about things." Dean says to me trying to calm me down, which helps me calm down a bit.
"I'm sure he's fine Cas, let's all go to bed, and you'll see (N/N) will be back in the morning." Sam said to me also trying to calm me down, which also helped me out a little bit.
"Um Sam, you know I don't sleep, because i'm an angel remember?" I say to Sam.
"Yeah I know Cas." Sam says smiling sleepily, I could tell he was tired.
Back With (Y/N):
(Y/N)'s POV:
I was on my way back to the bunker after my trip to the bar. I was really drunk, so I was trying to get back home safely. It was around 3:00 in the morning when i got back to the bunker, I was just about to open the door to go inside and go to bed; but I passed out right outside the entrance to the bunker, and slept there on the ground.
The Next Morning:
Cas's POV:
It's the next morning, so i decided to go check and see if (Y/N) was back, like Sam and Dean told me. When I went into his room to see if he was there, he wasn't so I got really worried about him.
"Sam! Dean!" I yelled waking them up.
"What Cas?" Sam and Dean said simultaneously.
"(Y/N) is not in his room, I don't think he came back last night." I tell them with worry in my voice.
They both looked at me with worry in their eyes as well.
A Few minutes later:
Sam's POV:
"What do you mean by (Y/N) is not in his room?" I asked Cas, who seemed to be really worried about (Y/N), now i see that Cas truly does love him, because of how worried he is.
"Exactly what I said Sam, he's not in his room and he's not in the bunker either, i looked everywhere in the bunker and I can't find him." Cas said to me, frustration and worry laced his words.
"Ok Cas, sorry for not understanding what you were saying about (Y/N)." I told him. He seemed to calm down a little bit after that, his facial expression changed, realizing how rude he sounded.
"We will find him Cas, i promise." Dean said helping Cas calm down even more.
"Ok, thanks Dean, you are a true friend to me and (N/N), thanks for being there for me, and him when i'm not around to help him through something." Cas said with a small smile forming on his face, his worry going away.
"It's not a problem Cas, I love (Y/N) as much as I love Sammy here, he may not be blood, but we are family, and family doesn't end in blood." Dean says with a big smile on his face.
Cas seemed to fully calm down after Dean said what he said to him about (Y/N), because Cas can tell Dean genuinely means what he said just by the way he said it and by the facial expressions he showed.
Outside the Bunker:
(Y/N)'s POV:
I woke up to a pounding headache, then I realized i was on the ground in front of the bunker. "What happened last night" I ask myself out loud, then i remember the events of last night and how the night played out.
'I can't believe I just walked out like I did last night, after Cas told me how he felt. I hope Cas doesn't hate me after what I did. If he does then I would understand.' I thought to myself, right before i walked into the bunker.
As soon as I walked into the bunker and down the stairs, I didn't see Sam, Dean or Cas anywhere, then I heard them talking in the library, so I decided to go into the library, where they were sitting at the table.
"Come on Cas, we will find him, (Y/N) can take care of himself and you know he can, because he's one of the best hunters we know." I heard Sam say to Cas.
"I know Sam, but even if he is the best hunter I know, other than you and Dean, it still worries me when I don't know how he's doing. I love him with all of my heart you guys and I would give up my grace and become human again, just for him, if I could." Cas told them, not noticing me walking into the library.
"Yeah we know Cas, and now he knows just how much you love him." Dean said smirking after noticing me waking into the room. Cas looked at him tilting his head in confusion, which I find absolutely adorable.
"What do you mean Dean?" Cas asked Dean with the same adorable expression as before, still on his cute face. Then he turns around and sees me.
"Hey Cas I have to te-" my sentence was cut short when Cas came up to me and hugged me as tight as he could, thinking he would loose me again if he let go.
"(Y/N), i'm so glad to see that you are fine!" he says to me, I can tell he's happy that i'm ok. He's still hugging me really tight.
"Uh, Cas I can't breathe, can you please let go of me?" I ask him, hardly being able to breathe, then he let's go and apologizes to me.
"Sorry (N/N), I was just so worried about you, after I told you how I felt and you just left without saying anything, I assumed the worst, like maybe you didn't want to be friends with me anymore or you don't share the same feelings as me, i was so worried tha-" I cut his rambling short by kissing him sweetly on his lips. He was shocked but kissed me back immediately.
"I love you to Cas." I told him after our kiss ended. Sam and Dean cleared their throats, at the scene in front of them, which left me kind of embarrassed.
A few minutes later after the kiss with Cas:
Cas's POV:
After (Y/N) told me, he loved me to, i was so happy to know, that he felt the same romantic feelings I had for him, shortly after that he went to his room, so I decided to follow him to his room and ask him a question, while we were alone.
In (Y/N)'s Room:
I walked into his room and sat on his bed next to him and asked him the question i've wanted to ask him since last night. "(N/N) why did you leave without saying another word to me last night, after I told you how i felt?" I asked him out of curiosity. He looked at me and sighed.
"The reason I left without saying anything is because it was unexpected, I never thought you would feel the same way as I do for you, with you being an angel and all that, because when we first met you never knew what human emotions were. Then you lost your grace and found out what human emotions are, but I didn't think you would like me the way i like you; because some people in society don't take to kindly to people like me." he says to me.
"What do you mean, people like you?" I asked him, because I was a little confused.
"I mean being gay, Cas, me being in a relationship with another man, is not looked upon to kindly where i was from." He tells me. "The first people I ever met who didn't mind who i wanted to be in a relationship with were Sam and Dean, they accepted me for who I was, and i will always cherish them for it, because they are my family now and i wouldn't change that for the world." (Y/N) told me, after he started tearing up. So i hugged him, but not as tight as earlier.
"(N/N) you know no matter what I love you, forever and always." I tell him trying to comfort him, but it's not working as i planned. So I decided to comfort him in a different way, which was to sing to him.
(Y/N)'s POV:
I was starting to cry again, but then i heard Cas start singing, I never expected him to sing. So he tries his best to sing, which I really appreciate of him.
(Listen to song above or right here.)
Cas sang to me in his gruff voice, making me smile, and I laugh a little at his singing.
He looks at me confused and asks me. "What did I do? Is my singing that bad?"He asks a little embarrassed, but I tell him otherwise.
"No Cas that's not it, uh, I mean your singing isn't the best, but I love how you sing to me Cas it makes me love you more." I tell him with a smile on my face. He smiles back at me with just as much affection.
After Cas sang for me i felt sleepy and started to lay down in my bed, starting to get under the covers, Cas got up and tucked me in like the caring angel he is.
"Hey Cas." I called his name, when he was about to leave the room, but i grabbed his arm and i stopped him from leaving.
He turned around to me and asked. "What is it (N/N)?"
"Will you stay with me for the night?" I asked.
"(Y/N) you know i don't sleep right?" he asked me.
"Yeah I know, but I want to cuddle with my angel boyfriend." I tell him. He looks at me with a blush on his face and gets under the covers with me and starts cuddling me for the rest of the night.
"I will always love you (N/N)." Cas tells me right before I fall asleep, with my head laying on his chest, while he lays next to me wrappig his arms around my torso.
"I will always love you to Cas" I tell him before I fall asleep with his arms wrapped securely around me, then I fall into a blissful sleep.
In the Morning:
(Y/N)'s POV:
When I woke up the next morning, I was still wrapped in Cas's arms.
"Morning Cas." I tell him looking into his bright blue eyes, that I get lost in everytime i look into them.
"Morning (N/N), did you sleep well?" he asked me looking into my (E/C) eyes.
"Yes I did baby, all because you were with me all night, I love you so much." I tell him with a small smile on my face.
"That's good to hear babe." Cas says to me smiling at me.
"Are you ready to get out of bed?" Cas asks me.
"No I want to cuddle with you a little while longer with you." I say to him.
"That's fine with me." Cas says back to me. So we just lay in my bed and cuddle together for the rest of the morning.
This is just the beginning of our wonderful life together, just Cas and I with Sam and Dean along for the ride.

after Wilburs last lore stream i have rounded out my character fully and completed her story as well (ps , i don't write romance . i write HEAVY ANGST and this is only a snippet of my oc's full story , btw my oc is fairly young shes somewhat apart of the crimeboys duo..... you'll see what i mean~)
laughing and chattering consumed the air whilst birds chirped in the background.
.
.
.
"WILBUR!"..
"WILBUR!"..
"WILBUR!!!!!" Tommy yelled enthusiastically
"YESS??!" Wilbur returned , full of his shit whilst breaking concrete.
"yES! i understand ittt!" Tommy simply returned not a care in the world
" okay,,what do we say when we encounter a police officer ?"wilbur questioned with a playful smile .
" when we see a police officer we sayy....."
" A CRAB!!" both //Name// and tommy said in unison
while wilbur started quietly giggling to himself ....
" ACAB !" Wilbur corrected
"ohh" //Name// said in realization
"Acab?..thats ehhh" tommy tailed off
"Yes! yes ! thats it " wilburr said in a cheerful tone
"Wilbur your like my big big big brother wilbur I'll follow /jesus// you! ill follow look!" Tommy said
"yes yes i know" Wilbur said picking up the concrete
" and im just here" said //name// in a singsong voice trying to dry her long hair in the sun
"unfortunately I've gathered that look- by the way tommy I've been thinking.."
"MMMMMHHH OOHOHO me too about girls big girls-"
"Oh ive been thinking about our hotdog business."
"Is it.. hey hey come with me , should we rename it to the hot woman business , and we got lots of women !//no//and we get them //no// and we put the in a van! //TOMMY!//"
"I just really like the idea you said earlier !"
"Oh the blaze rod shitting one?! where we shit out blaze rods!!"
"okay i liked ..look tommy!TOMMY TOMMY!"
"Yes?"
" i liked the idea, but its was more about naming this place , and making it into a country!'
"Wait! REALLY?" //name// said enthusiastically
"oh the l'manburg one?"
"yeah! the L'mangburg one, jt has a really good ring to it man!"
"do you really think so i? i thought it might of been a little bit weird"
"i liked it it sounds nice!"
"no i ..yeah.. i think we go ahead with it"
.
.
.
"this isn't a silly river tale to me anymore it's got a name its got a story!.. it's.. it's L'mangburg and to me it's you two "
"do you really mean that?"
"aye wills gone soft!"//pffttt-//
"Mhm" willbur starred down at //name// in mock disappointment
"NO ONE ELSE CAN TAKE THIS PLACE FROM US NO ONE YOU KNOW WHAT? I'LL BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THEM!!"
"Hey NO ONE, no one! i will not let anyone ruin this even if it kills me"
"i swear to God if i let it get ruined ill die on purpose even if i could stop it."
"okay! let's make official , next time i see dream im gonna go hard on him im gonna demand independence!im gonna fuck him up!
what do you say?"
"You know what i say wilbur ! i say L'manburg for ever !"
"L'mangburg for ever!"
"an extension of you! " "an extension of my big willy" "PFFTTT-"
"OH MY GOD- pffttt- im in as long as you don't forget about me "
//names// young voice fading into the distance..
.
.
.
" hello Tommy //SHUT UP//, what are you doing out here its freezing?" //ghost!names// ghostly form moved closer to tommy but kept distance still.
"oh im waiting for Wilbur , he's uh talking with phill"
" i see."
as if on cue the door opened , after some bickering and confusioned expressions //g!name// knew how to read on the spot they left after apologizing to technoblade. . .
" why is he apologizing phill?"
"he wants too , make up for what he's done as far as he told me , he's apologizing to everyone here that he's hurt"
.
.
"i see"... the red painted smile on they're ghostly porcelain face as a substitute for a mouth to give some expression to apathetic appearance done by they're more angered counterpart, driped a single drop , which if the painting was resent would not be odd , except it wasn't.
" guess they forgot about me."
.
.
.
revival . . .
such a rush after 50 years in limbo.
the butterflies that act apon me as second eyes and whisper theories and facts about the lives others tell me about alot I've missed,
the ghostly version of myself is permanently gone .
just as i was revived during dreams escape my limbo was collapsing into eternal nothingness...melting away and it took them with it
I've been planning , really more day dreaming .. about killing said dream.
it would be easy if im being honest , the only thing thats been keeping me down is empathy , now thats been long removed from me .
i plan to kill him the same way he killed me , ane i plan on doing it as slowly as possible.
i don't care if he comes back or not . all i need is a life for a life.
after all you take and then give right?
as for will
i already knew he forgot about me. same with tom.
he said he wanted to apologize to everyone .... but he completely and utterly forgot me ..
thats okay . im used to it .
it's happened more times than you realize
name off anyone from this godforsaken server and I'll tell ya7
.
.
.
i always tried to make them happy, to make them scream in joy !
but nothing was enough
so why not make them scream in agony.
and if they say its not fair.
i simply thank them for being the best teachers !
and I'll give them something to remember.
how did i do this idk its 2 in the morning.
LITERALLY QUAKING IN MY BOOTS ONGKGKCC THIS IS SO COOLLLKJJBNNN
