if you ever want to, i would LOVE to know more about maddie and eve! sounds amazing
I've written them more than I've drawn them so I don't really have any super new updated art of them but I've had these OCs since 2019 I think, and I remember the first art of them being like,,,super anime style lmao. (Also if you know where Eve's trench coat inspiration came from....iykyk)
I'm still not entirely satisfied with Eve's design but I think Maddie is okay where she is. Eve has gone through the most character changes.
Also I don't know how to talk about these characters personality or history because I have a habit of keeping most if not a lot of my OC lore and stuff to myself vs fandom stuff. I guess the best way to describe them is that Maddie is an anxiety-riddled girl with a penchant for conspiracy therories and airplanes. Eve is more quiet, observational-type who likes pranks and just so happens to be a vampire. They're best friends and go on ghost and cryptid adventures together, maybe throw some romantic tension in there.

Helping Hands
This is a sequel to my previous story 'A Helping Hand'. I hadn't planned on making a sequel but it seemed to be a hit and there were a lot of votes for who the biggest bitch was so it made sense that the winner would get a story of their own. Enjoy!
It had only been a week since Chad had accidentally turned into Chantelle, a bitchy gorgeous brat, but it had been enough time for her to cement her place as the Queen bee. She had beauty and ambition and was intent on getting what she wanted.
It had helped that the former most popular girl of school, his ex-girlfriend Millie was now a shell of herself. It was bad enough that her beauty had made Chad into Chantelle, but the cherry on top was that she couldn't help but be infatuated with what a bitch Chantelle was thanks to the main person responsible for this whole mess, Maddy.
Maddy had only wanted to become Chad's perfect woman, his equal but instead the magic spell she had gotten had backfired and made Chad into his own perfect woman. Chantelle was a force to be reckoned with.
Every hallway she strutted down felt like a runway, her high heels clicking with an authority that echoed through the school. Her new body, a perfect blend of seductive curves and striking features, drew every eye and silenced every whisper. Chad had used his strength as his weapon but Chantelle used her beauty to get what she wanted.
Millie and Maddy were now Chantelle's loyal simps, dedicated to doing anything she asked. However most of that involved debasing themselves in public for Chantelle's enjoyment. Millie's old friends had at first watched in horror as their former cheerleading head embarrassed herself day after day but they were soon corrupted to Chantelle's side and took pleasure in watching Millie play the fool.
"We can't keep going on like this." Maddy said one day to Millie while Chantelle was off fucking one of the football players.
"Keep it down, you don't want her to hear do you?" Millie replied with a whisper.
"That's the god damn problem! I do want her to hear. I want her to punish me. I want her to call me names and pull my hair! I'm so infatuated with her and I can't help it." Maddy said frustrated.
"I know. Trust me." Millie said, having the same desires. Suddenly the door burst open and Chantelle strutted in. Her hair slightly askew because of the sex she was coming from but still looking like a million dollars.
"Millie, lick the cum out of my pussy at once! I have a hot date tonight with Derek and I want my clit to sparkle." Chantelle commanded and Millie dutifully crawled over to her mistress' open legs and began to lick as Maddy watched on jealously.
"Well don't just stand there loser, come her and rub my tits." Chantelle growled at Maddy who quickly leapt to her feet. Chantelle was in ecstasy.
However, as the weeks passed, the thrill of her absolute power began to wane. The excitement of watching Millie and Maddy do anything she commanded was no longer enough. She had practically fucked every guy in school now and had every other girl in the palm of her hand. Chantelle craved a new challenge, something to stir her jaded heart.
That's when she made Maddy tell her about magic. Maddy after all had bought the spell that had made Chantelle in the first place, surely there could be some magic out there that could fulfil her new needs. Chantelle herself wouldn't bother herself with delving into the dark arts, no that's what a lacky was for.
"I found something. This spell… it's supposed to create a worthy adversary for you." Maddy said coming back days later, with a magic book in hand.
Chantelle raised an eyebrow at Maddy. While this wasn't what she had in mind, a wicked idea began to sprout. Snatching the book from Maddy's hands, she flipped through the pages, making note of certain spells.
"This will do perfectly. Millie! Come here at once!" Chantelle yelled. Millie ran in quickly from another room and stood next to Maddy obediently.
"Girls I have a gift for you two. With this spellbook I will create a link from you to your bitchy selves in another reality. Realities where each of you is the apex predator. It's hard to believe I know, but I am going to siphon their power directly to you, creating formidable adversaries for me at last." Chantelle smirked as the two girls looked at each with a mixture of hope and worry.
Chantelle's fingers traced the ancient symbols on the page as she began chanting the incantation. The room filled with a strange, pulsating energy, and the air crackled with a dark magical force.
A vortex of light and shadow enveloped Maddy and Millie, lifting them off their feet. They felt a surge of power flow through them, a raw, unfiltered strength that was both exhilarating and terrifying. Their eyes glowed with a new intensity, their bodies vibrating with the energy of their alternate selves.
Memories of their alternate selves flooded their minds. They were ruthless and cruel, beautiful and sexy. They were matched by no other, just the way they liked it.
Chantelle watched with satisfaction as the spell took hold, her lips curling into a triumphant smile as the bodies of the two girls began to change. Their breasts heaved out, their lips plumped up. Even though they were floating in the air, their posture took on an undeniable bitchy stance.
As the changes slowed, they lowered back to the ground. They radiated confidence and power, their former meekness replaced by an air of dominance. They were now Madison and Amelia.
"Welcome girls, together we are going to have a lot of fun." Chantelle purred. Madison and Amelia however looked at Chantelle with disdain.
"We don't have to do shit for you anymore bitch. In fact Amelia, how about we teach this slut a few lessons." Madison said with a grin towards her new bitchy bestie.
"Couldn't agree more babe." Amelia replied, stepping forward with an intimidating presence.
Chantelle smirked, unphased by their rebellion. "I expected as much." She said, opening the spellbook once more. Quickly flipping to the earmarked page, she began chanting a new spell, her voice steady and commanding. The air grew heavy with magic, and a strange force began to pull at Madison and Amelia.
"What the hell is this?" Madison exclaimed, struggling against the invisible pull.
"Chantelle what are you doing?!" Amelia cried out, trying to resist the force dragging her towards Chantelle.
Chantelle cackled evilly, her eyes gleaming with malice. "Did you really think I wanted two bitches to challenge me? No, I just wanted two evil bitches to add to my power." She taunted as Madison and Amelia were pulled closer, despite their desperate struggles. The moment they made contact, their bodies were absorbed into Chantelle's with a slurping sound.
Chantelle groaned out in pleasure as she felt herself changing, becoming even more beautiful, strong, and powerful. Her already impressive tits grew into two enormous breasts that were barely being held in my her clothes.
He facial features took on sharper more defined lines, accenting not only her beauty but her intensity. She knew in an instant that she would strike fear into all that looked upon her. Her skin glowed with an ethereal radiance as she felt the combined power of her adversaries enhancing her own abilities.
Chantelle stood tall, her transformation complete. She looked down at her hands, flexing her fingers and feeling the immense power coursing through her veins. She was now an unstoppable force, a true goddess among mortals. With a wicked smile, she whispered to herself. "Let the real fun begin."

Arcane Season 2 - How Bad Pacing Can Ruin Everything
So, Arcane season 2 ended. And I am sorry, I need to vent.
I am honestly not sure whether the rumors are true and this were originally meant to be more seasons. The Riot CEO apparently denies it, but then again, I have seen CEOs confidently go out on stages to talk about a project which they knew was cancelled at that point in time. So, sorry, but I will never ever trust a CEO. Lying is like 50% of their jobs. Being greedy is the other half. Sorry, not sorry.
I am gonna write something about disability in Arcane (overall) during the next few days, but let me just talk a bit about the pacing issues of season 2.
Spoilers for season 2 - all of it - obviously.
Believe me or not, but I know the exact issue of Arcane season 2. It is called: Too many characters. Too many plotlines. It is something that easily happens when writing an ensemble story (no matter what the format is you publish the story in - it happens in books, movies, shows, games). At times it works fine if you manage to weave the entire ensemble into the same main plot. But as soon as you wanna give everyone their own little storyarc with a bit of their own themes, it often goes haywire. Either you will end up dropping some characters to the side and not properly finish up their story, or you will end up rushing everything. Neither is gonna be good.
Here I am mainly thinking... Was the entire Black Rose/LaBlanc stuff planned to be there from the beginning? Was it put in later? I mean, given that the entire story felt like it might set up Mel as a Champion for LoL... How do I put it? Mel was too overdesigned in the show, to not be a future Champion. That was my feeling from the beginning. I don't know if they gonna make her a Champion, but man, it feels like it.
But no, the main issue really is the pacing. There is just too much stuff happening.
I will remain, that the thing that shows this better than anything was the second "arc" of season 2. Episode 4-6. And the general way the entire Caitlyn, Vi, Jinx thing plays out. We have the following things happen in the first six episodes of season 2:
Cait's mother dies
Cait swears revenge and asks Vi to assist her as an enforcer
Vi does not want to. Ends up getting drunk.
Vi decides to do it anyway.
They do a bit of chemical warfare for good measures.
They go down there. Fight Jinx. Vi cannot do it - partly because Isha.
Cait breaks up with Vi and becomes the evil fascist dictator
Vi becomes an alcohol addict.
Except, never mind, Caitlin is already feeling shitty about it next episode.
Jinx gets Vi and Magic Pixie Dreamgirls her out of her new-found addiction.
Jinx and Vi are good again. They go help Vander.
Cait meets Vi for the first time since the break up. They instantly are back on the same page.
Like, there is so many plothooks in this storyline alone that do go completely unexplored.
There are two characters here, that do play a role in the last three episodes too and that felt like they were some proper characters at some point. Those two are Maddie - the Scottish-dialect enforcer girl - and... Frankly, I do not feel like looking up the name. The big burly one, who after the break-up takes care of Vi.
Those two feel like they were at some point meant to be more real characters. But because of the pacing, they are barely ideas. Maddie starts making out with Caitlyn because...? I don't know. Because I literally do not know anything about this character but "she is an enforcer", "she is queer", "she is attracted to power(?)", and thats it.
And the other guy goes with Vi because... Uhm... I don't know. I know literally nothing about this chaaracter other than that he is big and an enforcer. *shrugs*
It most certainly feels like there was some planned version of this show, in which Cait and Vi both had a proper corruption arc. In which we really saw the two of them struggle. In which we actually saw Piltover and Zaun under the control of Commander Caitlyn and Noxus, and saw the horrible things they were doing and what it was doing with Caitlyn. In which we also saw Vi struggling with addiction and stuff.
But that was not the version we got in the end. Instead in this version... things go magically well.
Hooray?
Same with Jinx. Her mental health issues just magically get better when Isha is there, because that is what the story needs to happen now.
Here, too, it also feels like huge chunks of the story are missing. It feels like there was a story going more into the relationship of Sevika and Jinx for a bit. But if that story had been there once, it was most certainly no longer there. It was hinted at, yeah, but that's it.
And then there is the entire magic plot.
Look, I think among the fans of the LoL Lore I am not the first one to say: "Yeah, trying to marry the worldbuilding of Arcane to the established Runeterra worldbuilding does not work, because of the magic." Runeterra so far was always a fairly high magic world - at least that was implied by comics and short stories. Magic was a common thing in this world. Otherwise we could not have that many magic champions and a whole place whose entire thing it had been: "We are anti-magic Nazis building mage concentration camps!"
When Riot said, that Arcane was now the main canon, A LOT of fans of the lore were like: "You get that it is not gonna work." And yeah, Arcane Season 2 clearly shows how it doesn't work.
Because the way they put in the entire "Mel is magic, also the Black Rose is a thing" stuff just... It did not fit in the entire plot around it. Because Arcane had been designed as a world where magic was very rare and strange. But now Mel had to be magic and somehow had to be connected to the Black Rose.
Also... What the fuck even happened there in the end? Why put that in? Why make Mel go against LaBlanc? I am sorry, but that was simply too much for this plot. The entire Black Rose stuff stuck out of this plot like - pardon the pun - a thorn.
Generally there are several relationships that feel, like they had at one point been a whole more explored, but then got dropped to the wayside.
As I said, Sevika and Jinx are definitely an example. Ekko and Heimerdinger as well. I also feel like what was episode 7 of the show was probably originally more than one episodes and slower paced - though it still to me was the one episode in this, that kinda worked in of itself. And that the Ekko and Jinx relationship was better established.
I also feel that Viktor and that echo of Skye was probably at some point supposed to actually have talks. Like: "I will miss talking to you." - "No, you won't." Okay? THEN SHOW ME THEM TALKING PLEASE?!
Which kinda brings me down to the main thing that happened because of the pacing issue. Season 2 of Arcane knew only two extremes in terms of "Show, don't tell". Either it goes full "music video" in whcih indeed it just shows us shit without context or dialogue - or we get the information just via dialogue, in a complete tell.
This also shows in the last episode, with the entire thing of Piltover asking the Zaunites for help, after brutally surpressing them forever. Yeah, I see where they were going with this. About being the bigger people and planting seeds and what not. But frankly, there might have been a time and space for a story like that, if properly told (you know, with giving more of the Zaunites a voice in this story, showing more of the conflict and spacing this plot out over several episodes). But a) it was not properly told, and b) a world in which several genocides happen while Trump somehow won a second term is not that world. Yes, b) is not the fault of anyone working on Arcane. That was simply bad luck on their part. But a) is very much their fault - and even if we did not have a Palestinian Genocide and no second Trump term: Without a) being done properly, it would not have worked. It would have just not felt quite as miserable.
You know, the most frustrating thing about this was, that... While I think that one way or another I would still have hated how the show handles the topic of disability (again, I will write about this during the next few days), I generally might have liked the same plot, if it had been given the needed space to breathe.
Like... Sure, I would have never really been on board with "fascist Caitlyn", or rather with "fascist Caitlyn, who gets then forgiven by everyone". But I could have somewhat swallowed it, if that forgiveness had to be earned. But because of the breakneck speed of this show, it never got earned. I am not even talking about redemption arcs here - those are always a headache - but specifically about the fact that Caitlyn gets instantly forgiven by everyone.
Also, lol. The entire thing with Ekko convincing Jinx to come along off-screen. That was unelegant.
Heck, it feels in the first four episodes, as if there was an arc being set up for Sevika in general. And it feels like that arc needed to happen, given that Sevika ends up on the COUNCIL OF PILTOVER in the epilogue. However, that Arc just does not happen. Then, like... why set it up?
That is general the issue. There is a lot of set-up and very, very little payoff to any of it.
And here is the thing. I have heard people argue about whether or not this was meant to have more seasons. But frankly: I do not think that the writers who wrote season 1 would have written this story this way had they known it would be two seasons.
Mind you, compared to some people I would not rate the writing in season 1 higher than maybe 6 or 7 of 10. It was solid, but not overwhelmingly great. But season 2 in comparison is a 2 of 10, maybe a 3 of 10, if I am being gracious.
And frankly, I do not think any writer, who is in any way worth their salt, would write a story where a main character goes evil, and then do exactly nothing with it. I mean, sorry, us writers, we are a dramatic bunch. And we will not resist the drama being served on a silver platter unless we are forced too. I cannot imagine a single writer, who will go with the end of episode 3 and then not write a bunch of angst with Caitlyn and Vi - unless they were forbidden.
And mind you, CaitVi is by far the ship I am least invested in. But it is simply such a glaring example of where the plot is rushed in a way that it hinders the character arcs.
Oh, and also... Lest. Lest in the first six episodes clearly felt like a character, who was going to play a role. Only to then disappear to not be seen again during the finale. What happened to Lest? Is she dead? Is she alive? I guess we'll never know.
*sighs* I am sorry. I really am. I am just... very disappointed. This has been a mess. And I think it would not have needed to be.
Like, the animation is still the most pretty thing ever made in the world. But man... The plot? The plot sucks balls. And not in the sexy way.

Okay I either just had the best or the worst idea on the topic of Crash That Helicopter and someone else has probably already had the same thought just better but.
What if Tommy regains consciousness and realises he's trapped and his chopper is basically toast, including his comms. But his phone is miraculously okay. So he calls 911.
Meanwhile at dispatch, Maddie is having the Worst Time with morning sickness and runs to the toilet every 10 minutes until Josh decides to force her to go home. But she refuses at first because Kevin and Sarah are both out with the flu and Jessica unexpectedly quit last week to follow her boyfriend of 5 weeks to Australia and now they're short staffed. But Josh tells her it's fine they'll figure it out and pretty much throws her out. He has a small breakdown because they are seriously short staffed but luck just so has it that one of the long term dispatchers walks through the door right then (Debbie perhaps?) with her friend who used to work here but quit years ago and now lives in Phoenix (was it phoenix? I don't quite remember) buy she wanted to see the new dispatch centre and say hi to some people. And in walks no other than Abby Clark.
And Josh is still spiralling a little and she immediately offers to fill in for a few hours it's really no problem she still works in dispatch after all and she knows the systems and she'd love to help. And Josh, stressed but grateful accepts and ushers her towards a free desk. And Abby gets to work right away and she definitely still got it, she does one or two simple calls absolutely flawlessly and then in comes the third call and the voice is familiar.
And that's how Abby takes Tommy's 911 call, and immediately dispatches the best unit she knows because of course.
And of course he also immediately recognises her even though he's kinda dizzy and losing blood. They start talking. Not really about them but light things because Abby needs to keep Tommy awake and he's fading so she tries to keep his attention. So she tells him she's sent the 118, they're his old house right, but lots of new faces, actually she used to date his replacement and then broke his heart by walking away from him. And he laughs kinda pained. Actually, so did he. She pauses for a moment, then demands clarification so Tommy starts talking. And he tells the whole story for the first time since the break up, including the reasons. Some of them he doesn't even mention because it's Abby. Abby who maybe knows him best in the whole world because she's known him at his worst and somehow still loved him.
And Abby listens. And when he's finally done she let's out a long sigh and calls him a dumbass. And then she gets to setting his head straight. She gives him a proper dressing down and gets to the bottom of it. And finally she asks him if he regrets it. Yes. If he loves Buck. If course he does. If he wants him back.... Yeah. So she tells him to work for it, to fight for them. And when she's done giving him a passionate little monologue about love and relationships silence falls.
She calls his name. No answer, only sirens in the distance.
She calls his name again, more frantically and he's still not replying and now she's in tears because they can't both break Buck's heart like that, one of them has to fucking fix it!
Meanwhile the 118 has been racing towards the crash site, Buck antsy but determined and refusing to stay by the rig and let Eddie and Ravi handle it. Tommy needs him.
When they finally arrive it's a complete nightmare, debris and fire everywhere and they're taking far too long to cut Tommy out. Long enough for the TV crews to arrive and start broadcasting the whole thing live.
So Abby, still on the line with an unresponsive Tommy, hoping, praying, is watching Taylor Kelly report live from the crash site where the firefighter have started ripping through the remains of the helicopter. Until Bobby steps in front of the camera and forces them to shut it off because he has no idea what they're going to find there.
Which is also why he eventually makes the decision to pull Buck back after all. Between Eddie, Ravi, Hen and Chim there are enough hands already anyway, they've got him, Buck.
So that's how Taylor Kelly, who's still a bit pissed at Bobby for ruining her news piece, watches Buck disappear between the engine and the ladder truck looking like his world is collapsing and he might be her ex but of course she still cares. It's Buck, how can you not care about him? So she follows him and finds him just as he's breaking down. And she has no idea what's going on, she simply pulls him into a hug and let's him cry it out.
And when he csn breathe again he tells her. That's the love of his life there. His name is Tommy and he dumped him three months ago after he asked him to move in. And they both smile weakly before he continues.
He never told him. He only ever told her, and he didn't lie, he promises but it's never felt like this. And he never told him that he loved him.
Loves him.
And she says that maybe he should do that now then and nods at something behind him.
And there are Chim and Hen and Ravi and Eddie running towards the parked vehicles, pushing a gurney. And there's Bobby yelling for Buck to come get his ass into the ambulance, they have to leave right now.
And Taylor smiles and wipes his tears away and gives him a push. Go. Go and fight and tell him what you told me.
And he does.
#911 abc#tommy kinard#evan buckley#bucktommy#abby clark#taylor kelly#And obviously Tommy probably Codes dramatically on the way to the hospital but they get him back with the power of family and friendship#And buck is making teary love confessions the entire way#And it's touch and go for a bit but Tommy makes it#And they make up and live happily ever after#The end

The Meeting
masterlist
The sun is high over Charleston, casting warm light across the quiet set of Outer Banks. You step onto the lot, squinting at the maze of trailers and tents, a little overwhelmed but grateful Maddie invited you. It feels surreal being here, watching her live her dream.
Just as you're turning the corner to find her trailer, you hear a familiar voice.
“Y/N!”
Madelyn Cline bounds toward you, wrapping you in a tight, sun-soaked hug. "I can’t believe you're finally here!" she exclaims, her excitement infectious. "I’ve been waiting all day!"
You grin, feeling lighter already. "Had to come see you in action, superstar."
She loops her arm through yours, chatting a mile a minute as she drags you deeper into the set, pointing out different areas and crew members. “The cast is around here somewhere. You’re gonna love everyone,” she says with a mischievous twinkle.
Just as you approach a group of actors lounging between takes, Madelyn grins wider. “Oh, here—perfect timing. Drew! Come meet my best friend!"
You glance up, and there he is. Drew Starkey, taller in person, standing with a casual sort of confidence that feels effortless. His blue eyes catch yours, and for a second, the rest of the world seems to fall away.
"Hey," he says, extending a hand, his smile easy. "I'm Drew."
You swallow hard, feeling a little flustered under his gaze but managing to smile back. "Y/N."
He holds your hand a moment longer than necessary, his expression thoughtful—like he’s committing your name to memory.
Madelyn notices the subtle shift in his demeanor and smirks. "You two better behave,” she teases. "Y/N’s only here for a few days, so don't scare her off, Drew."
He chuckles, running a hand through his hair. "Wouldn’t dream of it."
And just like that, the conversation flows easily. Drew makes you laugh with stories from set, and you find yourself more relaxed than you expected.
Later, as Maddie gets called away for a quick shot, Drew leans closer, his voice low. "So, what’s the plan for your visit? Think you'll have time to let me show you around Charleston?"
Your heart skips a beat at the invitation, but you play it cool. "Depends—are you as good a tour guide as you are an actor?"
His grin deepens, the kind of smile that feels like a promise. "Guess you’ll have to find out."

I think I figured out, at least for myself, why the 9-1-1 fandom and part of the Buddie-or-Bust side of it feels so much more toxic than ever before when I know for a fact, those demanding Buddie has to become canon and who are looking for any tiny clue to be able to say it will become canon have always been this toxic. (I mean, with the exception of some people who came into the show because with Buck being bi the show was suddenly not queerbaiting anymore--lol, it hurts even just writing this as if it were really true--and then became die-hard Buddie fans or at least pretend to be to garner enough followers and clicks to make money out of fandom. But I'm not talking about them here.)
Before Bucktommy, there was no real opposition for them in the fandom. Buck and Eddie both had other LI and those had their fans (I know for a fact there are still people now shipping Buck with Taylor or Buck with Marisol or Eddie with Shannon). But those were very few fans and they created their own little spaces in fandom places and were barely noticeable. So the Buddie-or-Bust fans were able to mostly ignore them. And there have of course also been some small fanon ships for Eddie and Buck with other people, but those are barely noticed either.
But Bucktommy? That got huge in practically an instant. Because so many people were excited for bi story line with an established character and one in Buck's circumstances (not even Buck himself). And the Bucktommy fans were loud about their support of this new canon ship. So Buddie-or-Bust fans suddenly felt threatened and became much louder in their hate for anything not Buddie. Because now, for some reason, the fans of the other ship seem to be a threat to them. And also, for the first time for any of the LI of Eddie or Buck, they made an honest effort to set up Tommy and the relationship with him as something long-term. Which the Buddie-or-Bust fans recognize just as much as the Bucktommy fans, and so they try even harder to find fault in every single thing.
And that did change something in the behavior of the die-hard Buddie fans. At times, I've been neck-deep in Ana bashing, in Shannon bashing, in Taylor bashing, in Chimney bashing, in Abby bashing, in Maddie bashing. Because I enjoy a good bashing at times. It can be very cathartic. But you know what I've never seen there? I've never seen any of those characters being called derogatory names. Or their fans being called derogatory names and, in most cases, their fans didn't retaliate to the bashing either. (Though, at least for Chimney fans they sometimes very viciously go against people even just mentioning they don't like him and it came up a couple of times that Chimney fans found derogatory names for those bashing Chimney because that group of fans also seems to be unable to avoid content bashing their fav and instead sought it out deliberately to complaint about it.)
I can't even count anymore how many derogatory names I've seen for Tommy or Bucktommy or Bucktommy fans. They seem to come up with a new name every other day. And they enjoy trumping each other in their creations and using those names to get around the boundaries others try to set for themselves by filtering out the already known names.
And I already see people coming at me with "Oh, but Bucktommy fans started it by calling us BoBs." and just: No. Once more, you get an F in reading comprehension. It's always been made very clear that BoBs stood for Buddie-or-Bust and I personally don't see anything derogatory here but also, it's always been made very clear it's a specific subset of Buddie fans who behave poorly to separate them from the Buddie fans who don't care about Bucktommy. Because those people using that term are very well aware that there are really just a couple of very loud bad apples in the Buddie side of fandom and the rest of the Buddie fans don't deserve to be lumped in with them. While, on the other hand, all Bucktommy fans are always called names as a whole.
And I think their biggest problem is not even necessarily the "threat" they perceive Bucktommy to be to their own ship, though that's clearly a big part still. Otherwise, they wouldn't come after authors and artists and other fans who once shipped and created for Buddie and are now creating for Bucktommy. And otherwise, they wouldn't tag so many Buddie fics as Bucktommy, too, in some kind of strange hope to convince Bucktommy fans to ship Buddie again. (Without noticing that all they are accomplishing is to make everyone annoyed at them. And yes, that includes those Buddie fans who don't care for Bucktommy at all because they need to curate the Buddie tag very carefully now, too.)
I think their biggest problem is this belief that their ship is only valid if it's canon.
Which is so strange. Fandom has always mostly been about ships that are very much not canon. And no one ever expected their ships to become canon in the past, as far as I know. (Except if it was promoted and then didn't happen. Looking at Sterek here.) Canon ships barely get any attention. I mean, look at all the 9-1-1 ships that are canon, including Tarlos, and how little content there is for any of them, and also how little engagement there is for this content compared to Buddie. That's always been a trend in fandom, that's not new with 9-1-1.
It's not only strange, I also think it's honestly sad for these fans. Because they have deliberately set themselves up to be disappointed and dig that hole of disappointment ever deeper. Even if Buddie should ever go canon, which I honestly don't think will happen, it won't be at all what they expect. And they'll either leave the fandom or turn on the ship they were so toxically addicted to before.

I think the salient point about Tommy calling Buck "Evan" is that Buck has not corrected him. Just like Eddie never corrected Ana. In no way an indication that he loves or even likes it. It's an indication of a pattern we've witnessed Buck fall into time and time again. It's very easy to imagine Buck thinking it makes him seem more mature or whatever and just going along with it. I don't think it makes Tommy evil or even a bad guy, just like Ana wasn't evil (to Eddie. her out of pocket ableism about chris is another story) . It's just another indicator of the romantic partner of the moment not being a right fit. There to teach the boys a lesson about themselves and then be gone. This one just also happened to bring along a genuinely revelatory self discovery, for Buck. A good thing! And still...
We — the omnipotent "we" of the audience — know that Buck does not like being called "Evan," for complicated reasons of childhood trauma. And, we know that Maddie and Eddie have used it in very specific contexts, with full awareness of its weight. (Also Chim, purposely to make fun of him/in front of Buck's parents, which proves my point.)
I think Tommy calling Buck "Evan" is a clever shorthand by the writers: telling us both that this is temporary because this person doesn't really understand Buck and that Buck is going to work something out here in his relationship to himself (again, like all the romantic partners, every single one). "Evan" as a callback to his childhood trauma, the origin of his hamster wheel, why he keeps finding himself repeating these patterns, why he feels like he's not enough and needs other people to name and validate his own feelings, how he could have been so oblivious to his own queerness for so long, etc. etc.
My 2 cents (that ended up being more like a dollar sorry!)
NO NO BECAUSE YOU'RE RIGHT. that's my train of thought too. i always end up in the same conclusion.
evan stands for something he is always willing to walk away from ONCE HE GETS THROUGH THE HURDLE OF ACTUALLY KNOWING WHAT THAT SOMETHING ACTUALLY IS. we've seen him time and time again repeating patterns in his relationships.
to me, tommy calling buck evan isn't the cutesy shippy thing it's being made out to be. to me, tommy calling buck evan is a direct result of a love interest coming in and thinking they know who buck is and trying to set themselves apart when in reality nobody knows who evan is and the closest we've come to knowing is when he decides that no, he isn't evan, he's buck.
anyway, YES THANK YOU TO ALL OF THIS! 💖

Sex, Drugs, Etc.
Warnings: Talk of drugs/Drug use. Possible smut in the future. SH. A lot of plot. EXTREME Canon divergence. Before Maddies time. Set in 2021
I got a lot of inspiration and motivation from @whoopsyeahokay series called October Sun if you haven't read it yet I recommend you do its amazing, you can find it on tumblr and Ao3. October Sun
(This is very self indulgent and based on things ive been through and how I could have very easily ended up as a ghost. This is NOT meant to romanticize addiction or mental illness. This is a judgment free zone so I want no bullying or hate on anyone. I'm not the best writer so be nice)
1.9k Words
Enjoy :)
-
Two days, two fucking days you’ve been rotting and no ones come to find you. Well no one alive at least.
It started off normal, nothing out of the ordinary. Just another boring school day with the same washed out boring people. Tired eyes and even more tired souls. So what changed? A little slip up on the same thing that had almost claimed your life many times over the years except this time no one was there to save you.
You were 14 when you first learned the only way for your brain to stop spinning, trying to find a new way to obtain peace was with a very simple little thing. Weed, this wasn't what was deadly, no it was what started the cycle. First it was weed, then it was alcohol, then it was late night parties, until one day it fell into the palm of your hand. A simple little pill, how could it cause so much damage? Things were fine until one pill turned into two then two turned into three and then you ended up on the patio of a stranger's porch foaming out the mouth. 4 days in the hospital and 2 weeks in rehab was enough to scare you for a while, but not enough to make you forget about the relief that came with it.
That's how you ended up here, sitting in a circle sharing stories about life and death, a group of highschool boys who had no idea you were even there, playing basketball behind you. Should have just gone to group like you were told to, at least then you would have been with people who understood addiction. Now judgmental eyes fall upon you because you caused your own death. As much as you wanted to find someone, something to blame you knew you couldn't, this was your fault. The spinning hasn't stopped. At least ghosts couldn't go through withdrawal, doesn’t change the fact that the empty feeling you tried so desperately to fill is more presint than ever.
The sweet voice of Mr.Martin fills the room. Like white nose until you heard him call your name. Head shooting up to look up at him. “Have you started working on your obituary?” Ah yes, ghost homework. you would have never thought that you would have been asked to write your own obituary yet here we are. Not as easy as it sounds.
“I’ve got some ideas” Like when you got so drunk you threw up on your friends cat, or when you were so high that your brother convinced you the plane flying over your house was a UFO, fun memories. Apparently you were supposed to write about the good parts of your life but that's kinda hard when the only good memories you had were caused by what put you in this situation to begin with.
“Take your time, if you need to im sure some of the others wouldn't mind telling you about what they wrote, for motivation.” You give a simple nod, wanting all the prying eyes around you to look away. And they do, except a certain pair that had been watching you since you got here.
Wally Clark, a sweet boy, bright future, died to soon like everyone else in this fucked up version of your own personal hell. He asked too many questions, it wasn't a secret how you died, just something you didn't want to talk about. He respected that, like most of the others, most. Doesn't stop him from prying, staring with curious eyes.
“I think that's all for today, don't forget tomorrow's movie night as always our newest member will be picking the movie.” You give an awkward smile before standing up and turning to leave along with the rest of the group. Heavy footsteps creeping up behind you and the sound of your name being called stops you as the tall boy catches up.
“So um do you need help with your obituary? not to brag but I think I did a pretty good job on mine.” Wally was quite attractive, tall, with big brown eyes, and slick back brown fluffy hair. No doubt having made girls fawn over him during his lifetime. You and him weren't exactly friends but the idea of having a little help writing… well, a self obituary wasn't bad.
“Sure, we could go to the library.” An excited grin grew on Wallys face, not expecting you to say yes.
“Yeah, yeah the library sounds great” It was kinda cute how he acted sometimes. Not like a typical jock, a pure golden retriever.
“Cool” You stand there kinda awkwardly, hands in the pockets of your red zip up hoodie as you gave him an expecting look.
“Oh like now?” He was somehow the most confident yet most awkward person in the world. “Um okay yeah that works”
You tilt your head sideways towards the door leading out the gym, indicating for him to follow you out. Taking the lead and making your way out, opening the door for him. “Ladies first” He let out a small chuckle at your attempt at a joke, considering it was the first time you really talked to anyone since everything happened. It wasn't that you didn't like people, you just didn’t understand the point of friends. It might sound depressing but having a small group of people that you know will stick around is better than hanging around people that barely know you. Yet here you are, stuck with strangers for eternity or until you finally move on, however long that’ll take.
The hallway was filled with loud teens, some rushing to their next class others going out the back door, more than likely skipping. “So how does this work?” You look over at him.
“What? The afterlife?” He looks at you, a little nervous. “I don’t think im the best person to explain it to you, that's more of Charley's thing.” Charley was sweet, the first person you met when you woke up. Some sort of after life guide.
“No, a self obituary.” The words felt weird coming out your mouth. “I know I'm supposed to write about all the great things in life but I don't think huffing nitrous in my uncles bathroom on thanksgiving really counts as a good memory.”
“Nitrous? like the shit in whipped cream?” He gave you a sideways look, a concerned but humored smile on his face.
“Yes, the shit in whipped cream, I don't recommend. I passed out and almost had a seizure.” As we reach the library he opens the door, allowing you to go in first.
“Okay, maybe don’t include that in your obituary, how about” He thought for a second. “Write about your friends and family, I'm sure you have some good memories with them.”
You let out a frustrated sigh as you sat down at a table, Wally sitting down across from you as you take off your backpack, pulling a pencil and the folder Mr.Martin had given you. “That's too much work, do you think Mr.Martin would notice if I just copied yours?” Wally laughs a little, his straight white teeth showing.
“No, he’ll totally believe that you played football and lost your virginity in your moms car.” Now you’re the one laughing, his sentence coming out way too casually.
“You lost your virginity in your moms car?” You take a few seconds to process before you look at him judgmentally. “You included how you lost your virginity?” Though the smiles’ still apparent on your face.
“Happy memories, remember?” And there's the jock attitude you were waiting for, somehow a bit surprising but not unexpected. “You could just write your feelings.” You have a whole journal for that from when you got sober… soberish.
“This may come as a shock to you but I'm not exactly a feelings person.” Not totally true, it was just easier to not feel anything at all, especially with the situation you're in right now.
“Really? I couldn't tell” The sarcastic tone in his voice very apparent. “Alright fine, if you were happiest when you were high then it's worth writing.”
“Great, so high stories, got it” Though it wasn't the best idea, you had to write something so Mr.Martin would get off your ass about it. Reminiscing was a slippery slope, you were holding up decently so far but contrary to what all the others think it hurt deep down. “How about the first time I tried molly?” Probably one of the best ‘happy pills’ you tried in your lifetime.
“What was it like?” He clearly had no intentions of finding out first hand, just curious of the experience.
“It made me really aware but like in a good way.” There was no real way to describe it without going into depth. “And kinda trippy I guess, does that make sense?”
“Yeah, I guess.” He knew he could never truly understand, no one could unless they experienced it themselves. As you begin to jot down the memory Wally peaks over, looking at the page though it's not very useful due to the fact that he doesn't possess the skill to read upside down.
“Nosey” You laugh a little at his attempt to get to know you better. “You know if you want to get to know me, maybe there are better ways to do it then helping me write my own obituary” Yep, still didn't sound right.
“Oh um yeah, this is probably a really weird first hang out.” He laughs awkwardly at the realization that this is still new to you. It wasn't like he had never been around a new ghost before, he knew he was supposed to be slow, supportive, ease them into it but with the way you acted sometimes made him think you were more used to this than he was. In a way you were, death was something that you had imagined so many times so when it actually came the idea of being trapped wasn't one you hadn't thought of before. “How about after we're done with this I could take you down to the pool?”
You smile, the sentiment was sweet. “Thanks, but I don't know how to swim.” You were never taught and it didn't seem important in life so you just never learned. The surprised look on Wallys face was priceless.
“How the hell are you 18 and don’t know how to swim?” It wasn't judgmental, just a little surprised, but the grin on his face indicated that he had an idea.
“Oh god, what are you thinking about?” You knew what was coming, he wouldn't be him if he didn’t jump at the opportunity to help a new friend. Wally was very readable and you didn’t know if that was a good thing yet.
“I could teach you.” And there it was, of course he wanted to teach you. “It could be fun, plus you don't have much else to do.”
“You know what fuck it, you’re right there isnt shit else to do.” Especially with your body still laying cold in the old abandoned locker rooms aka ‘the brain cave’.
“Great, you should keep writing, the faster you get it over with the less weird it feels.” And that's how it started, you were never the friend type but as much as you hated to say it you needed someone. Sure that someone is very attractive and the idea of seeing him in nothing but swim trunks was a nice image but who could blame you? The afterlife is lonely.

Are we still doing this? I'm still doing this.
Have another @bucktommypositivityweek bingo ficlet: cuddling, 118 family scenes, new traditions.
"Tommy." he vaguely heard someone call his name somewhere in the distance but we was too warm and comfortable to pay much attention to it.
"Tommy. Tom."
There was a hand in his hair and someone kissed his temple.
"Thomas. Time to wake up."
He pried his eyes open and looked up into his boyfriend's amused face.
"Hey." he said softly and kissed him again.
"Are we boring you? A familiar voice he couldn't quite place in his sleepy state asked.
"Shut up Eddie, he just came off a shift. He's allowed to be tired." Evan snapped back at the source of the voice, which apparently was Eddie.
Tommy sat up a little and rubbed the sleep from his face, taking in his surroundings.
They were in the garden of Bobby and Athena's new place, Evan's arms around him, and a blanket covering their legs.
"Sorry." he mumbled, feeling his cheeks heat up.
Bobby had invited the entire team over for dinner, the first of many he'd insisted, and had gone out of his way to make sure Tommy knew the invitation extended to him too.
"You're part of the family, Tommy." Bobby had told him and squeezed his shoulder when he'd personally invited him when he'd picked Evan up from work a few weeks ago.
Dinner had been nice, Evan had helped Bobby with the food preparation, and Tommy had made apple pie from a recipe he found online after Evan had told everyone how good it was.
It had made him a little, or a lot, nervous and his crew at Harbor had been delighted to help eat his trial runs.
He'd planned to help set things up, but unfortunately he'd gotten called into work for an emergency medical transport, and hadn't had time to do much more than shower at the station and put on some clean clothes.
Evan, being the absolute godsend he was, had picked him up from work, with his pie in a cooler in the back of his car, so Tommy would still get the praise Evan reckoned he deserved.
"Nonsense." Bobby spoke up. "I've done a lot worse than doze off after a long shift. You have nothing to be sorry for. "
"Still..." Tommy trailed off, not sure what he was going to say. He turned to Evan. "How long was I out for?"
"Not long. Half an hour. Maybe 45 minutes."
Tommy groaned.
"You should have woken me up sooner."
"Hey no worries man, Jee is out like a light too." Howie told him, stroking the hair out of his little girl's face as she slept with her head in his lap, and her feet in Maddie's.
"Yeah well, she's a little younger than I am. "
"Yeah, old people need a lot of sleep, Chim. " Eddie teased.
Tommy glared at him. He was going to pay for that in their next sparring session. Or maybe he'd find out his new girlfriend's name and number and tell her some embarrassing stories about him.
Or maybe both.
Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder and saw Karen standing next to him with her coat on.
"We're going to head out. We left the kids on their own and Hen is worried they're throwing a party and burning the place down." she told him, ignoring her wife's protests. "We'll catch up soon, alright?"
"Yeah... sorry... I'm usually better company."
"Don't worry about it. You're not the first firefighter to fall asleep on me. And I married that one." she smiled at Hen.
"Yeah, you're not really my type though." Tommy joked and she laughed.
"Likewise."
They said their goodbyes and left and Tommy felt the embarrassment from earlier slowly slip away.
"Do you want to get out of here too and sleep in an actual bed at home?" Evan asked softly.
Tommy glanced at his watch and shook his head.
"It's still early. I'm good now, I promise." he said and pressed a small kiss to Evan's lips.
"Yeah grandpa has had his nap, he should be good for at least another hour now." Eddie said and laughed.
He was definitely calling the new girlfriend, Tommy decided.
"I'd watch my mouth if I were you, Diaz, I have a lot of embarrassing stories to tell about you, and Evan even more." he warned Eddie, making the rest of the group laugh.
Conversations around them picked up again, Bobby complimented his pie and told him he hoped he'd make it for every family dinner from then on.
He and Evan had been together almost a year, and every day since then he'd thanked whatever deity was out there for making him answer Howie's call that day in April, and throwing one Evan Buckley into his life.
"What?" Evan asked when he caught him staring at him. "Have I got something on my face?"
Tommy shook his head.
"I just love you."

911 Characters React to "Don't tell anyone"
I want to preface this by saying that I genuinely believe that if you entrusted any of them with a secret, they would take it to their grave. If you're doing something you're not supposed to... that's a different story. Anyways...
Buck: Oh, I swear I won't tell a soul. *10 Minutes Later* Buck: *realizes he's half way through info dumping to Tommy about what he wasn't supposed to tell* Buck: *slaps his hand to his mouth* Tommy: What? Buck: Let's pretend you don't have a soul for a second so I don't feel bad but you can't tell anyone else *proceeds to finish info dumping*
Athena: Oh honey, I won't. *later that evening* Athena: Girl, you ain't gonna believe this. Hen: Oh my god, tell me now. Karen: I wanna know too!
Tommy: Does Evan count as anyone? Person: Uh he's your boyfriend right? Tommy: *proud grin* yup Person: Then yes, he counts. Tommy: Then, I don't wanna hear what you have to say, goodbye. Tommy: *walks the fuck away like a badass*
Eddie: Oh I make no promises. Chris & Carla both love a good sip of tea. Eddie: But go ahead if you wanna risk it.
Bobby: I won't, I promise. Bobby: *has his fingers crossed behind his back & is already planning on calling Athena as soon as person walks away*
Hen: I won't *already itching to tell Karen* *hours later* Hen: *drops her go bag at the front door & races through the house in search of Karen* Karen: *scared shitless when Hen suddenly enters the room yelling her name repeatedly* What? Where's the fire? Hen: *tries to catch her breath* You gotta hear this.
Maddie: *smiles innocently* I won't. *Meanwhile, Chimney has also just been told the same* Chimney: I would neverrrrr. *later that evening* Chimney: *comes home to find Maddie already pouring two glasses of wine* Chimney: Boy do I have a story for you. Maddie: *hands him a glass of wine* Maddie: Oh, oh me first!
Ravi: read 2:41 Person: Ravi this is a face to face conversation, you can't leave me on read. Ravi: Oh I can & I will *walks away*
Karen: Depends on how interesting this conversation is about to get. Person: *yap yap yap* Karen: *in her head* Hen & Athena are gonna eat this up.

STEB X ENFORCER!READER
Summary:just Steb being cute and stuff
Warnings:none
You two surely met like, when you two were cadets,he just graduated from School and you too but whatever lead you there, you ended Up meeting him
He is a man of little to no words as we all saw in the show so,you have to do the first step, you two surely been in the same like besides the other one,so you make a comment to him.
You:i hope (chief/name) doesn't make us clean again the training yard floor, could you believe It? Twice in a day
Steb:...i Hope not
The vastaya Who was besides you was quite tall, with hard, looking skin but soft at the same time and also Big blue eyes. You wanted to talked with him for a while now,but never find the time to do it,now, that your chief was making clear (again) the rules, etc, etc.you thouugh:this is boring, maybe he is bored too, this is a great time to Talk to him...in front of the chief...while he's talking...yay...
You were about to say something, when suddenly, your name was heard in the whole training yard
(chief/name): Y/N L/N ( last name) YOU WILL BE THE ONE CLEANING THIS YARD CORNER TO CORNER IF I HEAR YOU TALKING ONCE MORE!
everyone was quiet, except for you,but...he was laughing, quietly,or at least you heard a chuckle.
You:told ya
Steb:let's talk later and not about cleaning yards ok?
After you two met properly, you two make training together, eat together,do everything together, even if you have to do teams for training guess who's Steb joining with?,i'll give you one chance
At first,i headcanon that he was like cait,a good shooter, but if you are not or need hell with this,he will help! No doubts about it
Just imagine him, steping behind you, holding your hands in postion, telling you how to look through the sight right in your ear,and then...you failling the shoot.
You:i guess i'll need more classes
You do EVERYTHING together, even your roomates (i don't know how you call your partners in the army which you share room) ask you Why you're always with him and even if he is your boyfriend.
On the other hand,Steb has to deal with soooo much teasing in his room "is she a hook up??"," is she your girlfriend??"
For fucks sake,poor steb
After you two clarified their doubts, everyone is dissapointed, they wanted to see you two together who wouldnt is the real question
After you two graduate and get in real missions,Steb makes sure to stay as close as he can next to you,he wants to protect you and doesn't want to see something happening to you.
Even asking cait (when she is Commander) when you have a risky mission,if he can be instead of you (-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩___-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩)
You,Steb,vi,Maddie, cait and loris make the peanut team (if ykyk)
He asks you to take care, but you always say that you are risky, because you have always someone to take care of you, literally and metaphorically. (As far as i know,Steb is a field doctor so,yk)
It's all about you and him, talking care of each other, making sure you know where the other one is all the time and always have the last billete for the other one ;)
When you started dating and you two still were enforcers this wouldn't change,as far as we expect
Just him, being besides you in every mission, taking care of your injuries (if you have any) and viceversa
If you two are living in different houses,he Will definetly Will walk you to your House such a gentleman oh my gosh
You protest sometimes staying that you can take care of yourself or even that you can walk HIM home
But he denies,he just likes the walk, and being with you ;)
If you two live together, that's a different story
You two go together to you shared House/department and finally find peace (i headcanon that he is allergic to animal fur so he wouldn't have any pet)
You two are in home, maybe you reading while he cleans his uniform, meanwhile the fire warms you two, talking about your Life and how do you expect the future,YOUR future together.
He will clean (without telling you) both of your uniforms, and making everything ready to the Next day at work.
I just now that he is so husband material and he wouldn't change you or anything on his life for anything. He thinks it's perfect just the way it is 🫐
YOOOO it's kinda late (what hour it's in your country?) but now i'm so tired, but i wanted to write this (maybe i'll post it tomorrow)
See u 🫰✨ (。・ω・。)ノ♡

Bring Me Home Arc 2 Part 11
God this arc just keeps getting longer and longer. Luckily after this, I should be able to move ahead with the plot? I'm a few more minutes into the episode at least!
Anyway,
Story Summary: Tim and Danny are both neglected by parents who care more about their work than their families. They deal with this by spending too much time online and find each other playing MMORPGs. They keep up their friendship as Tim becomes Robin and Danny becomes Phantom and don't bother keeping secrets from each other.
First, Previous
Word Count: 1.4k
-----
Cassie sat next to him and bumped their shoulders. “We’ll figure this one out just like we have all the ones before.”
Conner sandwiched him on the other side. “Yep. And the Fentons don’t seem like the type to hide information. They’ll tell us everything we want to know.”
“You’re both right. We’ll fix this and be home before we know it.” Tim pulled out his phone. “I wonder if there’s any old news articles we can look up for more information. Danny told me about the first ghost attack. A ghost called Lunch Lady who used meat to attack people and was upset because Sam changed the school lunch menu.”
Bart blinked at him and sat on the coffee table facing him. “You’re making that up. You’ve gotta be.”
Tim laughed and shook his head. “Nope. We’ll have to see if he has a list of his rogues so far. They’ve all been so gimmicky. Kinda like Condiment Man in Gotham.”
At Tim’s direction, Bart and Cassie also began looking into various news articles and posts about the ghosts of Amity. Conner recorded their findings and Tim supplemented with information he’d gotten directly from Danny.
Research kept them busy for the next hour until the Fentons returned.
“Danny’s friends!” boomed Jack when he saw them.
“How are you four doing? Did you find the pantry? Enough things to eat?” asked Maddie.
“Yes, Ma’am,” said Conner. “Cassie and I also left to explore a bit and found a corner shop where we picked up a few things we knew Tim and Bart liked.”
“That’s great! Now, I see you’ve seen the news, and I don’t want you to be afraid. Jack and I are planning on training some of Danny’s classmates in ghost fighting, would you four like to join?”
Everyone looked to Tim who bit his lip in thought. “I— can we sit in on the first lesson? I’d like to see some more of your work. Danny’s told me a little bit about it, but seeing it in person is something else. But I also want to spend more time just with Danny since we haven’t met in person before.”
“Of course, honey!”
Tim had to force his smile to remain neutral at the pet name. His parents didn’t even call him ‘honey,’ let alone anyone else. “Thank you, Dr. Fenton.”
“Call me Maddie, dear.”
“And I’m Jack!”
“Yes, Dr.— er, Maddie, Jack. When will the others be here?”
Jack looked at…something on his wrist that must’ve had a clock feature and boomed, “Not for another three hours! School’s still in session, you know.”
Conner cleared his throat. “Will you need help setting up? Maybe you can tell us a bit about ghosts while we do. I’d never seen one before.”
“Oh, that’s a great idea! Thank you, sweetie!” said Maddie.
“Conner, my boy, the first thing you need to know about ghosts is that they’re evil and only want to hurt you. If you don’t remember anything else, always remember that,” added Jack.
Tim’s stomach sank at those words. Did Danny have to hear things like that every day? “How do you know they’re all evil?” he couldn’t help but ask.
“Well, Tim! It’s because ghosts aren’t people. They’re post human consciousness imprinted on ectoplasm. They’re an echo of what they used to be and that echo wants to become a person again. But it can’t because it’s dead. So it lashes out at anything living around it. Either to steal their life or make the living like it.”
Maddie nodded. “Exactly. A ghost killed my best friend when we were girls. If you’d like, I can send you some papers Jackie-poo and I wrote about how ghosts form so you can have more information.”
Tim forced a smile. “That’d be great, thank you.” Could the portal be destroyed in some way? Would that keep ghosts from coming through and allow Danny to come with him to Gotham?
“Now!” said Jack. “Who wants to help me carry up supplies from the lab?”
Once again, Tim asked for some safety gear before going into the lab and Maddie shoved a white jumpsuit at him with a sticker of Jack’s face on it.
“This is one of Danny’s, dear. But he doesn’t wear them very often. Here’s another for you, Bart. It might be a bit long, but try it on and we’ll see what we can do. Cassie, Conner, you two will be a bit harder, but I think I should be able to coble something together. Hang tight a sec!”
“I guess we’ll go get changed, then,” said Bart as Maddie and Jack disappeared back downstairs to see what they had.
Tim held out the top and poked at the decal of Jack. Going to the edge, he worked a finger under the image and let out a sigh of relief when it came up. “These are removable,” he commented as he pulled it off.
“Fantastic!” said Bart, ripping his own off. “Come on, Rob. Let’s get changed.”
Upstairs in the guest room, Tim allowed himself to comment, “At least it’s not orange.”
“Everyone will know who we’re staying with, though.”
“Better than stepping foot in that lab with no protection.”
They were just finishing up when Cassie and Conner walked in with matching scowls. In their arms were a mix of orange and blue fabrics.
Cassie glared at them. “Not. A. Word.”
Tim smirked and held up his hands. “Who, me?”
Bart mimed zipping his lips.
“We’re just about finished here, though, so we’ll go help the Fentons while you two get changed,” said Tim. He couldn’t help the way his lips quirked as he looked at the clashing jumpsuit pieces as they passed each other.
Conner made sure to trip them with TTK.
Tim just smiled at him as he pushed himself up and left without another word, Bart a step behind him. The door was barely shut before they were laughing so hard they couldn’t walk down the stairs without gripping the railing.
“Good to see you boys are having fun! How do the jumpsuits fit?” asked Jack when he saw them.
Bart held up his hands to show how he’d folded the ends of the sleeves. “Not bad. Just had to roll up the sleeves and pants a little.”
Tim nodded his agreement. “Little tight in places, little loose in others. But I can move well enough.”
“Good, good! Now, want a detailed tour of the lab as we collect weapons to train Dan-o’s classmates?”
Tim didn’t have to hold back his sharp grin at that question. “Absolutely. I want to know everything.”
And Jack and Maddie were willing to share quite a lot. Conner and Cassie joined them ten minutes later, wearing jumpsuits cobbled together from spares of Jack’s and Maddie’s. Now that they weren’t rushed by trying to get out and manage an active and hostile ghost invasion, the tour of the lab was much more thorough.
Jack and Maddie were also happy to answer any questions the four had. As it looked, there was no actual organization to the lab. And in the fridge, food was stored right next to samples. The fudge hissed when Jack took out a piece to eat and Tim shuddered.
“Want one? My snookums made it! Best fudge you’ll ever eat.”
“Aww, thank you dear!” Maddie hugged Jack at his compliment and kissed his cheek.
“I— No. Thank you,” said Tim.
“Why do you have a stockade?” asked Cassie.
Tim gave her a grateful look and she winked at him.
“That’s to hold down ghosts so we can question them,” said Maddie.
“Yup! Restrain them in there and then you can use toys like this one”—Jack brandished a cat-o-nine-tails—“to force ‘em to talk!”
“Or the Fenton Prod,” added Maddie holding out what looked like an electric cattle prod. She pressed a button and the end sparked green.
Tim swallowed hard and clenched his teeth. Did everything these people make have to look so painful?
The rest of the time in the lab passed in much the same way. The four traded off who had to ask a distracting question as they were all more and more horrified by the casual cruelty displayed by Danny’s parents.
Eventually, the doorbell rang and they were able to return upstairs with armfuls of weapons. Maddie opened the door and Dash Baxter and his cronies stood there with sadistic grins.
“Dash, what a pleasant surprise to see you again,” Tim said with his own teeth bared. “I don’t think we got off on the right foot last night. I’m Tim. Danny’s told me so much about you.”
For a moment, the boy’s face showed confusion before it was wiped away with a polite smile. “He’s told us about you, too. I’m sure we’ll become great friends.”
Well fuck. Looks like the ghosts weren’t all gone after all. Tim held a hand behind his back and signaled danger to his friends. They needed to get away from here.

We've got more with Jack and Maddie here! Hope you guys like how I write them. We already know this is going to turn into bad-parents Jack and Maddie based on what's going to happen in Arc 3. (Arc 3 will be the original prompt fill and it's fall out.)
Also, I think I'm going to change some things around in previous parts. I won't edit them on Tumblr, but before they go on AO3 they'll change. Tim is going to lie to Bruce a bit more than he has so far. He'll tell Bruce that Danny is Cassie's friend so he doesn't decide to look Danny up if he gets bored.
Next chapter will have Danny and co again!
I will no longer be managing a tag list for this fic, but please check out the Subscription Post if you want to be notified of updates. I'm also want to get the first chapter transferred over to AO3, but I'm going to transfer the first arc of Ghost!Robin first.
I reblogged an ask game earlier today if anyone's curious about me. Check it out and consider sending something in!
#dpxdc#dead tired#tim feel his homicidal urges stirring#every robin gets them at some point#and bruce isn't here to keep them in check!#the rest of his team arent far behind#if tim goes evil theyll follow#its why they play villain tim bingo#to keep it from happening

Ignoring the interviews here's how things should play out and how they are
Buck and Tommy's story isn't over. Buck is actually heartbroken, and he still clearly misses Tommy. We've never really seen him like this. And maybe part of that is because most of his breakups happened in a season finale or off-screen. And Abby is an exception. But that was a little different because of many things. And he's been referenced multiple times since the breakup. With the promo, there could be a convo between Buck and Chim about life being short, or fighting for people that you love.
This leads to Buck FINALLY calling Tommy. After they rescue Maddie of course. Or him showing up at Tommy's place.
Because at this point Buck doesn't need more endless relationships. He needs to start building a life for himself with someone, which is seemingly what he wants. I'm so sick and tired of Buck's love interests, I want one to last, and the only one that remotely makes sense is Tommy as far as canon is concerned except maybe Josh. But I don't think that would work. Maybe it could have been in season 4. But not now.
So looking at just the show itself, it does look like the door is open for reconciliation. I just don't have any confidence or trust in the writers to do it. What really hurts is all the wasted potential to tell new stories, of ne new and interesting drama. Building on ANY of that stuff about Tommy's loneliness, his acquaintances but lack of serious friendships, lack of family, etc. They build up so much that unless they come back to it in 8b or in season 9 it was just pointless.
Season 7 established that Tommy was different, that he fit into the fabric of Buck's life. Like realistically, they could have had like a generic pilot named John and do the exact same story. But they made us remember, like, and. root for Tommy. Aside from the assholes.
#bucktommy#911 abc#I am still so angry and frustrated by the breakup. They could have easily worked through it#and no matter what you ship I am looking at this from the perspective of canon not a fanon ship

Do you think Buddie would have another kid after getting together? What are your headcanons for that?
Personally, I say yes and see them worrying that Chris would feel some type of way about it and then approaching the conversation very carefully and then Chris is just like “so I get a sibling FINALLY? Awesome”
Oh bestie i absolutely think they would… especially with how much buck wants a kid and how eddie would love the chance to be there for the important things he missed with chris.
(i actually have an ongoing fic series called “Never Grow Up” centered around buddie being baby-girl dads; i will link it below if you want to check it out ☺️☺️)
but one of my headcanons is that they would name their baby girl after maddie- i don’t think she would be maddie diaz, i think they would make her full name Madeline (or any similar spelling) followed by her middle name being Isabel after abuela.
if they had a baby boy, i could 1000000% see them naming him after bobby in some capacity whether that be his first name or not (i also love the idea of him being called robbie instead of bobby so that it’s like the same but different)
i think buck would immediately become the helicopter parent for whatever extracurricular activity they join (im talking coaching the kindergarten soccer team, sewing dance costumes for dance competitions, volunteering as a kid wrangler for school plays, etc.)
i think eddie would sing old lullabies to their children as he rocks them to sleep at night, buck would tell him he has a beautiful voice (he would), and eddie would shake his head and say he doesn’t think so
buck and eddie would both find moments during the day when chris would sneak into the nursery and be telling the baby a story about their family, or saying sweet things like “im slways gonna protect you” or “i will never let anyone hurt you” “if anyone gives you a problem you come to me”
buck would go all out for their birthdays, often bringing out clipboard buck to make sure everything goes exactly the way he planned
their kids would call all of the 118 uncle/aunt/auntie
i think buck would be the one who everyone thinks spoils the kid, but in reality eddie is much worse about it than buck is (although they are both bad about it)
i think they would have at least one baby via surrogate, so that buck would have the chance to he a biological father, but any more, they would look into adoption, getting help from henren through the process
i think they would raise the kids to be bilingual (buck would come home raving about research he did on how beneficial it would be to raise them in a bilingual household, and eddie couldn’t say no to buck)
eddie would get really insecure over messing up again (bonus points if he panics about not knowing how to raise a little girl) while buck reminds him that he is an amazing father and he will be just as amazing with their kids
I am so sorry this took me like over a week to post, anon… I started a draft of these and then life kinda blew up and i only just thought about it… i guess better late than never, right?
If you are interested in reading my baby-girl-dad!buddie fics, i am going to link the series below (there are currently only two one-shots, but i am sure there will be more to come!)
Thank you for the ask, anon! and again, i am so sorry it took me so long to get to it! 😭🙏💕

Look, am I probably going to get myself in trouble making this post? Sure, but I accept that, because I actually do have to say it. Tommy breaking up with Buck is not homophobic what the fuck are you guys talking about??? You know part of asking for queer representation and queer storylines is that you get representation and storylines right??? Queer characters have as much right to be complex and flawed as straight characters. Not to mention that this energy is nowhere to be found for the female love interests of Buck's who haven't worked out. Tommy Kinard is getting fucked over by a prejudiced narrative but Taylor Kelly wasn't? But Abby Clark wasn't????
Tommy broke up with Buck when things got serious for reasons that are beautifully in character, especially when you consider that we don't actually know Tommy that well. He is not a main character. He's not even a supporting character. Still, what we do get to know about him completely supports the behavior we see. We know that his relationship with his father was strained growing up, that he spent his young adult years as a closeted (maybe even to himself) gay man in a homophobic work environment, that all these formative experiences were traumatic enough to push him into a relationship with a woman that was serious enough to lead to getting engaged. Which means it's only been what, seven or eight years, since Tommy's come into himself enough to live his truth? That's just not enough time to be over it.
Tommy Kinard, and the broader purpose his character serves, is to be a mirror to Abby and for his and Buck's relationship to mirror Abby and Buck's relationship, and the 9-1-1 writers are executing that perfectly. Because let's not forget, Tommy is not a real person. Every week, the writers have 43 minutes to tell their stories, and that just does not allow for every character to be at the center of their own narrative. Tommy's character is a tool to explore Buck's character. This is not a unique phenomenon. Karen is a tool to explore Hen's character. Michael was a tool to explore Athena's character.
And it happens to straight characters, too. You think Marisol No Last Name was a character that existed outside of her relationship with Eddie? Did Doug exist outside Maddie? Does Sue exist outside the walls of 9-1-1 dispatch? I mean, in fandom they can. The thing about the transformative power of fandom is that we take the underdeveloped and we expand on it. We pull at threads the writers, in 43 minutes, just can't. And because they can't, they also don't always - or even often - intend to.
We are making more of this than it is. It's in our heads. And that's not wrong. But my god, we cannot be holding the narrative responsible for a thing it's just not doing. Your attachment to this fanon version of Tommy you've created, and to the fanon version of Buck and Tommy's relationship, is on you. And you're allowed to be sad that canon isn't playing out the way you would have chosen if you were the one telling the story. What you don't get to do is call it homophobic because it's just not.
And the thing is, I know this is the trauma talking. To borrow Josh's analogy, this is a question of pre-Glee fans watching a post-Glee story. We remember Sterek, and we remember Destiel, and we remember McDanno, and we remember Rizzisles.
But the reality is, for every queerbaited ship that didn't go canon, the trauma runs deeper. Because we also remember Caroline Forbes' gay father deciding he'd rather die than "be a vampire." We remember Mulan walking away from Aurora and letting her have her prince. We remember Tara dying in Willow's arms, and we remember Lexa dying in Clarke's. So it's hard to watch a queer romance, especially one involving a character that we've spent seven seasons headcanoning as queer before his coming out, end.
The thing is, this is a queer relationship ending on a beautifully queer show. They aren't shoving their gay under the rug. This isn't a brief queer chapter in the book they opened purely to pander and that is now slamming shut. Hen and Karen are right there. Buck is still there. Michael may no longer be on our screens, but while he was, he and David were also treated with care and grace.
Just because we remember how it used to be doesn't mean that's what's happening now. Tommy is a plot device exploring Buck's first queer relationship, but not because it's a queer relationship. Tommy is a character whose purpose is to move Buck's arc forward because sometimes that's all a character has the capacity to be in the confines of a story that gets to be told for 43 minutes 18 times a television season.
And having Tommy be Abby's ex, as a narrative device, is brilliant. Having him walk away from Buck the same way Abby did is brilliant. Seeing those parallels and highlighting them, from a writing standpoint, is brilliant.
Buck's relationship with Abby allowed him to become Buck 2.0. She was a partner who shaped him and helped him grow in a deeply profound way. And just because she left him in a way that was hurtful and driven by her own trauma doesn't negate that. It also doesn't make her a cartoon villain.
For the same reason, Tommy walking away from Buck in a way that's hurtful and driven by his own trauma doesn't make him a cartoon villain. But it is clever writing. It bookends Buck's transformation into Ready For A Relationship Buck with his transformation into Bringing His Whole Self Into A Relationship Buck. And linking Abby and Tommy with a history of their own affirms for the audience that that's what this narrative arc was always about.
And who knows, maybe Buck and Tommy will get their romcom arc. Maybe Tommy does come back. Maybe he grows past his trauma and the defenses he's put up to survive in a world that raised him to hate himself. If he does, I won't be unhappy about it. But I also won't consider it the righting of some profound wrong. Because nothing about Tommy's arc, or the arc of the Bucktommy relationship, has been wrong.
#911#911 abc#911 meta#i hesitate to tag this as any particular ship or with any particular character because i'm really not trying to start a fight#i just think it bears saying#and i know i'm not the only one feeling this way

Fantastic [CaitVi]
Vi works at her sisters Cafe called "Timebomb Cafe". She goes out with her friends Mel and Maddie on Thanksgiving as they don't celebrate and had nothing better to do. She meets Vi, and it goes from there.
This is multi chaptered but I figured I'd post chapter one today. Also posted on AO3!
It was a cold, rainy morning on November 28th, 2024. Vi was working Thanksgiving at her sister's cafe. Not out of force, just for fun. It was a holiday that Vi and Powder chose not to celebrate due to the sad passing of their father. It was his favorite holiday. Although there was an exception of a possible friendgiving involving her sisters boyfriend, Ekko, but that was rare as he was cooped up in his office accompanied by his awfully short professor with a long name she couldn’t remember. The streets were empty with the occasional couple sharing laughs and carrying shopping bags. Vi was tough and independent, or so she thought. She was well known in her local boxing scene for being the toughest out of anybody, yet outside of the ring she felt profoundly lonely and weak. She wanted what those random couples on the street had and wanted it badly.
The store was just as empty as the streets with the exception of an older male with a damaged eye that was testing in the middle of what Vi assumes to be a burn scar. He was sat near a window, fingers clacking away on a small laptop. He looked straight out of a movie, a villain of sorts, but she knows that’s a silly thought. Vi had a terrible habit of people watching and making up stories about the people around her. “Probably just a finance bro.” she mutters to herself, laughing softly at her own joke.
That’s when she hears the soft jingle of the door opening that signals a new customer. She looks up and notices a tall and slim woman with hair such a deep blue her icy eyes could blind you with their brightness, they sat on eye bags that curved her skin beautifully. She was something people write about. She was so amazed at her she couldn’t even notice the two other women beside her, one ginger that resembled that of a bunny and the other being yet another woman with gorgeous dark locs styled in a bun with gold loc rings that complimented her complexion.
Her friends sit down at the table but she only sets her black purse down, waltzing to the register where Vi was standing nervously pretending to do some work by fidgeting with the empty coffee machine. She feels the blue haired woman in front of her immediately without even having to look up, her presence was something you only come by once in a lifetime. It was suffocating, concussive even and the scent of the nameless woman’s vanilla bourbon perfume made her head spin.
“Hello, welcome to the Timebomb Cafe! What can I get you?” She tries her best to sound like a normal person but her voice comes out a bit awkward and shaky, in sharp contrast to the strong personality she puts on to literally anyone else but the unnamed woman smiled upon hearing her speak instead of laughing nervously to ease the awkwardness. “I’ll have a black coffee, and those two will have caramel macchiatos.” she said it with an almost flirty tone, but Vi chalked it up to her imagining things. She asks if that’s everything and the woman nods.
They hold a stare for a bit too long before Vi decides to speak, “That’ll be $7.50. Oh, and a name for the order?” After she finishes her sentence she hears her younger sister laughing behind her and she can only assume it was because you only ask for a name with to-go orders. She knows exactly what she’s up to, but Vi doesn’t care. “Wow, that's awfully cheap. I was expecting to pay more. You’re not giving me a discount, are you?” she says with a playful wink that makes Vi’s heart want to jump out of her chest.
After a short pause she remembers she forgot to say her name, “…And the name is Caitlyn. With a C.” Vi nods and thinks of what to say while she taps at the digital screen. “Of course not, but maybe I could some other time. Nice hair by the way.” she slips the flirtatiousness in as smoothly as she can as to reciprocate her energy. Caitlyn seems shocked by her returning the sentiment. It makes her cheeks flush, a red gradient on her porcelain skin.
A pause was exchanged while Caitlyn figured out what to say and she couldn’t help to admire her face. Who wouldn’t? Vi was beautiful. She stares at her name tag now that reads; ‘Timebomb Cafe: Vi’. “Well thank you uhhh…. Vi. Cute name, is it short for Violet?” she stutters over her words for the first time in years and she knows exactly why, embarrassingly so this woman intrigued her and she needed to know everything about her. She almost forgets to hand Vi her card to which she scrambles to get it out of her pocket, shyly handing it to the black and red haired woman.
“Yeah… I usually go by Vi for whatever reason but you can call me whatever you like best.” she answers as she takes the card from Caitlyn and for a few seconds their hands touch. “I’ll bring your drinks in a second so feel free to sit down, Cait.” she smiles as she taps on the screen some more. Caitlyn looks at her almost mesmerized as she gets handed the receipt for the order and her card. She says a quiet thank you as she walks back to her friends, stuffing her card and receipt in her wallet in a rush.
“Wow, that took a long time, Cait!” Maddie complains. Maddie was a very ‘clingy’ friend. It was weird and everyone noticed it, but Caitlyn tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and say she was like that with everyone. She wasn’t. Mel bumps Maddie on her shoulder gently at her comment with a giggle, “It wasn’t thaaaat long…. But I did notice you talking to that really hot barista for a little too long.” she jabs playfully to which make’s Caitlyn flustered.
“No I, uh, was just having some small ta—“ she was cut off by Vi approaching their table, setting down each drink carefully. Maddie is looking at Vi just as much as she was, which made her annoyed for some random reason. “Your name’s Vi, huh? You kiss girls or what?” Maddie questions her and the air seems to change. Vi chuckled nervously while Caitlyn and Mel told her to not say that, apologizing on her behalf.
“I do. You’re not my type though, sorry.” she answers before walking away. Caitlyn and Mel erupt into a laughter that you encounter when something is so stupidly funny that it makes you laugh until your sides hurt. After the laughing stops Mel turns to Maddie who’s sat beside her. “I figured you knew how to talk to women, that seemed a little desperate.” Her playful comment makes Maddies eyebrows furrow in irritation, but that doesn’t last long as they go on to a different conversation.
Caitlyn fidgets with the lid of her coffee, wanting to talk to Vi again. She’s never been the relationship kind of person, but she could be for her. She was so uniquely beautiful and has something other women she's met don’t seem to have. Her eyes wander down to her cup as she begins to pick it up to take a sip and that's when she sees some writing on the cup. Squinting, it read:
‘U’re cute. Hope to see U around :)’.
Caitlyn almost squeals like a teenager when she sees it but she tries to keep her composure while biting her lip. She didn’t want people to see the softer, more emotional side of her. She wondered why Vi didn’t put her number but shrugged it off as her trying to be respectful and not push too much which is honestly something she appreciated. It was a different behavior she never received from anybody and although it was the bare minimum she is used to people like Maddie so she really isn’t used to it. She makes a mental note to come back tomorrow morning.
After a bit of talking and giggling their drinks were empty and they were all getting a little hungry. Mel had the idea of going to this restaurant across the street and Maddie seconded but Caitlyn wanted to stay and admire her new love interest. “Are you not on call, Maddie? I thought you had to go in today.” Caitlyn asks but barely pays attention as her eyes are fixed on the black and red haired woman wiping down a random table. Maddie replies something like ‘No. I took today off for you… guys.’ but she wasn’t really listening, she was too focused on wondering what this woman's life story was because she looked so happy but when you look deeper, her eyes seem so sad. It was something she compared to a bruised strawberry, so sweet even after being bruised.
Mel notices Caitlyns excessive staring and whips out her phone to send her a message so Maddie doesn’t get all weird and possessive under the guise of being a ‘caring friend’. After some typing and more staring, Caitlyn is grabbed out of her daze by her phone violently buzzing. She takes it out and reads it while chewing her lip.
‘I’ll take her to get some food. Go get your woman ;).’ Caitlyn giggles and types a quick ‘TY!!!’ accompanied by a heart emoji. She says her goodbyes as she walks them to the door, reassuring Maddie that she’ll meet them in 15 minutes. Maddie tries to protest, but is pulled away regardless.
Vi is still cleaning the table as she feels a tap on her shoulder. It’s Caitlyn. She’s nervous because she doesn’t know if she’s gonna get yelled at or asked out. She hopes it’s the second one. “I saw what you wrote on my cup,” she says as she puts a hand on Vi’s bicep. Her eyelashes are long and curled upwards but Vi can tell there’s no makeup on her face. She’s just naturally beautiful and it makes her feel like she’s melting into a puddle. “I’d love to get to know you. Here’s my number if you ever wanna show me how to get that discount.” At first Vi is completely speechless, looking at the card given to her. It’s a business card. It makes sense that she’s a lawyer, beautiful and smart. ‘Caitlyn Kiramman of Medarda Law Firm.’ with a number written in black ballpoint pen. It wasn’t her work phone, it was her personal number.
“Thank yo–, I mean, yes of course. I’ll text you.”
