Hey dear,
First I wanted to thank you for all the readings you prepared for us, and for your dedication to our community 💜
I wanted to ask you - if you don't mind sharing - a little bit of your own spiritual journey?
What was the process for you to get so incredibly good at your craft? 🤭
How did you get interested in reading cards?
What was your spiritual awakening?
How do you usually practice? Do you have rituals (meditations or other things)
What is your advice for people who want to start reading cards? (I know some people are interested)
Can you tell us your opinion again about the concept of free will on making readings about celebrities, and your point of view on it? (Many people are turned off to interact with those readings because they feel it's invasive.) What's your own personal stance on it? Can you explain like we are 4?
I know this is a lot of questions. Answer only to what you're comfortable with of course!
Thanks again for everything 💜🥰
Fun stuff!
What was the process for you to get so incredibly good at your craft? - Very annoying answer, but I have no idea. In terms of the more technical side of reading, which is mainly just learning the cards and other various tools, it was just basic study and familiarization. My way of reading, how I actually go about doing readings, I really don't know. It's not something that I learned really, it was something I was always doing since I was a tiny kid (I was one of them "I see dead people" kids).
I mostly just stick to trusting myself, not really looking too far out into things, both in terms of spiritual matters as well as things online, other readers who cover similar topics, just keep things contained and manageable so that I don't look my own lens. I have a lil mantra for myself that I've had since I was little, "those who need to find it will find it, and those who need to understand will understand. Fuck the rest." It was originally applied to art and writing, but it applies greatly to my work here too especially in terms of my bigger intentions in regard to helping people with self-navigation, exploration, and personal development.
How did you get interested in reading cards? - I just randomly decided to buy myself a tarot deck back in 2016. Before that, I used to use standard playing cards or uno cards, as well as books, dice, a magic 8-ball, and chains or bracelets as pendulums. The thing is though, I didn't know what I was doing with any of those other things, like I didn't intend to do readings for people, but that... basically what I was doing in elementary and middle school. Most of the intended readings I did for myself back then were channeled, and handled through very deep meditations without any other tools.
I was living alone in 2016 and was just not having a very good time, so I got the cards so that I could have something to do, to learn, to be interested in.
What was your spiritual awakening? - I think, technically, I've had a few. So, again, "i see dead people" type child I was, however, I was completely unaware of the fact that everyone else couldn't see what I was seeing up until I was about 9 or 10 when I saw the spirit of my grandma's dog that had just passed away. Obviously, I was aware she was dead so, started putting some pieces together there. But even with that, it still wasn't an all-go situation because where I'm from people are all kinds of open-minded when it comes to the paranormal and aliens and all kinds of stuff like that (very closed-minded to everything else of course, small town), and my mom was a practicing wiccan as were most of her friends, my grandpa was way into psychics and there's a bit of an interesting history to part of my family regarding some stuff, so me bringing any of this up didn't really cause a fuss and therefore it just sunk into the background again. It just wasn't a big deal, so I really didn't think about it too much.
Then, through middle school, I was exploring things more on my own, experimenting with quite a lot of stuff while living in an extremely haunted space (in activity not the quantity of spook) with my mother and her then-husband. All kinds of spooks were happening, we were being put THROUGH IT in that house, but I was also going a bit insane due to some mental health stuff at that time that had me coping in very bad ways. Ended up having to go to the hospital and it kind of shocked my system a bit so I did the whole "none of that's real, I was just completely insane" for about 8 or 9 years after that.
Had my 7 years of self-imposed isolation between 13/14 - 20/21. Didn't leave my room for 3 years, then didn't leave the house for an additional 4 until my mom died and then I had to move. Spent one more year alone in hell (literally, the Universe set the fucking plagues to the house I was living in to get me to leave. Worst year.). In that last year on my own, I kind of went SO INSANE that I looped back around to being sane (with just a wee bit of quirk for fun) and was like why the hell have I been raw dogging all of this shit for all of these years, I got contacts, I know how to DO SHIT. And then I just kind of fucked around and found out with this really intense 3 day ritual thing that just so happed to line up with that Leo Eclipse that year (it was on my rising) and I SCREAMED to the universe, as I did most night, but on this one particular night I VOWED that if I could just get one more opportunity, one more chance to get out of that house, then I would just trust everything that I see, feel, hear, and I will not question any of it or deny it ever again. Swore on, did all the shit, two or three days later my gram shows up telling me that I have to move because that house is required by another. Then I moved in with my grandparets, and then two months later I started my first job.
Reminder, 7 years of isolation up to this point, so that first job, working retail, in a mall, in a massive department store... I wasn't doing so good at first. But I really, really enjoyed working there adn there was a lot of bullshit (harrassment, robbery, liquidation sales, someone shot their whole ass up the bathroom wall once, 40 year old bullies) but I literally learned how to be a person again there. AND TO THIS DAY I have never known a feeling more pure and genuinely fulfilling than the day, about 5 months, I was actually working on the cash register, something I thought I would literally never be able to do because of all of my issues.
One day, randomly, one of my gram's co-workers (she worked at the makeup place) asked me to do a reading for her and I was like O.O pardon?? You see, literally no (or so I thought) knew that I did readings or that I even had cards to begin with, and even now I don't know how my gram knew and according to my gram she doesn't know how she knows, she just randomly brought it up and then boom here we go, Spiritual Awakening: Chapter 4.
I end doing a pretty long reading, a reading that would eventually give birth to the first 5 readings I ever had online. Got the reading to her, then two other people in the store wanted them. Then this one day they were all stood together talking about their readings because something that had been mentioned in one of them had already come to fruition, so they were all really excited (and scared omg). Then my gram's friend was just like "you should do readings for other people, like make a website." And then clear as day, everything, vision and sound, just dropped out and heard this DING DING DING type bell go off, followed by "that's it! go!"
I knew this was my sign to quit working, but I was so scared of quitting and rolling backward with everything, ending back up in that house, and so I didn't. Which meant that I just broke a vow with the universe by questioning and denying a very clear checkpoint road marker thing telling me to turn left or die. Exactly like the plague that was unleashed onto my house, a hoard of demons was unleashed onto the mall, and they possessed all my co-workers, had everyone BOTHERING ME in the middle of me managing the HOME DEPARTMENT during a LIQUIDATION SALE on a FRIDAY. It actually is a long story, all the stuff the went wrong the week leading up to my last day, and then that last day itself... that requires a six-part docu-series.
So, long story short, I quit about 2 months or so before the store was to be completely shut down, and I took my last 640$ and bought a bunch of decks, and then started designing readings. I was just kind of going with the flow, like I had been handed a map there, it was clear to me what the next challenge or task was, and it was just this.
I feel like I hit awakenings all the time, little upgrades, most not too noticeable but some completely throwing me on my ass. I don't know if this would make a lot of sense, but I feel like, if I had to put it down to just one experience, there was this time where I had this "outbreak meditation" where things just went way off the rails but it was only in the span of about 5 minutes. I ended up writing down this back-and-forth conversation that was just so bizarre but, in my current standing, so prophetic and affirming. I think when that happened there was one final corner laid flat that let me see things fully with my own eyes again, without so much forceful doubt, shame, or fear.
I could also, giving an opening to my current state, say that when I first wrote "BlueMoonPunch was created in 2018 with the intention to help people broaden their perception of themselves and the world around them by presenting a deeper understanding fo the people they look up to and admire." and put it at the bottom of my original tumblr page, something happened. Some stone was placed, a brick was laid, like there's something more behind that statement that I can feel very strongly, but I can't see it, can't even begin to conceptualize it. There's a tiny part of my that thinks in like 5 years I'm going to look at my little tagline statement the same way I look at that written back-and-forth conversation. Like, I'll just be side-eyeing it for the rest of my life like I don't know how you got here or why but clearly you knew what was up, so sure, you can live in my desk drawer for all of eternity.
How do you usually practice? Do you have rituals (meditations or other things) - I used to be a lot more disciplined with it, but I do occasionally get on a daily meditation kick. At my absolutely best, I'm doing 30 minutes AT LEAST every morning and night, and am doing weekly cleanses, and grounding and centering through out the day. That's more maintenance stuff though. In terms of spiritual matters, I have my alter, I have my own readings, my own way of communing with my Guides, working with cosmic energies. I can only think to describe it as saying I make a great and deliberate attempt to be as within and harmonic with my own nature and the nature around me, and in that effort is my continuous, un-ended, eternal, daily practice or mindfulness and willful inclusion of the reality around me. (PS, so sorry, but I might have taken an edible before I started writing this, and it may have just kicked in, just a fair warning I might get WAAAAAYYYYYYY more rambly.)
What is your advice for people who want to start reading cards? - Oh, goodness, I always say the same thing and I know it can get a bit twisted for some people sometimes, but I like to keep in mind that everyone can read cards for themselves, but not everyone could or should be reading for other people. So, no matter what a person's goal is, it is always best to start reading for yourself exclusively.
Starting with the basic Rider-Waite Tarot deck and the Biddy Tarot website will give you a good foundation. If you're just looking to tap into it for fun and just want to learn about it, just shuffle the deck, pick a handful of cards and just start reading about them. Biddy Tarot has really great and detailed descriptions of the cards (based on Rider-Waite deck) upright, reversed, and the images themselves.
If you're looking to build a deeper connection or are planning to branch out in any way, I would suggest moving just a bit slower, creating a routine, perhaps a lil ritual of sorts to help you open things up and designate a "reading mode" for you body and brain to get used to it. Same with the mind in terms of clearing space and time for yourself that can really be put all on you by retraining your focus. A journal would be very beneficial with this as well.
Every day, either before or after journaling (which is best done after at least 5 minutes of a good guided meditation uwu), shuffle the deck (or shuffle before and just pull a card from the top every day) and select a card. First, really look at that card just as it is on its own, without thinking too much about what it's "supposed to mean," or what you already know about it, or what someone else has said about it. in that moment, you and that card are two people meeting for the first time, but you already know you're gonna become best friends (yes, even Death, The Devil, and The Tower). Look this person over, get to know them. What vibes do you pick up from the environment, the sky? the weather? What's this person's temperment, humor, voice? What's on the ground, at the feet? Growing? Sinking? Is that dirt? Rock? Water? Does this person feel reliable? Could you lean on them? Do they need to lean on you? Would they come to you for advice? Would you go to them? What would you ask? What do you think they'd say? Are there any animals in the image? Plants? A lot of people? No people? Standing? Sitting? Where are we? Why did they invite you here? Why did you invite them here? Does it even matter? Or is it all about your connection? Are certain elements of the card falling away while other pop out? Are some of this person's features shining and grabbing all the attention while others get lost behind their hair or clothing? Why do you think that's happening? Are they trying to hide something? Are you just very focused on those few features? Why would you be? What connects those elements? How do those features work together? What expression is this person making? What is your intuition trying to tell you right now as you hold onto this card and stare into it as if it has only ever been nothing more than a mirror.
Then write about it in your journal. If you did your regular writing before pulling a card - did anything interesting come up that could connect back to what you were already writing or thinking about? If you haven't written anything yet, start with an introduction to the card, your thoughts and feelings on the card, how you saw this "person" form. Write your own notes on what stood out, why you think it did, what it meant if anything in the moment.
Lastly, read the entire entry for that card on Biddy Tarot. Learn about the more technical meanings, elements, and stories of the cards. Do not take any of it in to a point where you are deleting your own thouhgts and feelings of the card in order to make room for the "right answer" that someone else is now giving you. When you "meet" your cards for the first time, you are establishing your personal intuitive foundation, the baseline of your personal language through which your Higher Self, Guides, and the Universe will attempt to converse with you at some point if they're not already. You've just built a foundation interpretation, a personal, unique understanding, and as you read the more technical explanation you are not learning something that is right or wrong, you are simply learning more about your friend. You know what your friends Temperance and Miss. Two-Swords told you about themselves, and now you're just hearing some of their history from our Biddy.
You are building on your own foundations in this way. Do not sacrifice your own personal understanding or experience in order to accommodate someone else. We are a marvelous type of creature, the kind with EYES, and like most EYES, most of us have peripheral vision, yes? To sacrifice your own personal interpretation, understanding, and perspective, would be to rip your own eyes away from that bird flying around in the sky to look at a squirrel that is running around in a tree because someone told you to. With a bit of practice and effort, utilizing your peripheral vision to simply catch a glimpse of one while looking at the other can greatly help you to move away from the more polarizing, based-in-opposition idea of there being a clean cut right and wrong to everything, as if everyone exists on the same exact level, dimension, governmed by the same laws and principles. This is, basicallly, the art of consideration. AND INTERESTINGLY ENOUGH!! The art of consideration, and the effort to bridge a gap between two perspectives rather than percieving one as always being over the other, is nearly identitcal to the art of channeling, reading, or spirit commuication. Boom, two pearls one snowglobe.
TLDR: A big part of being able to read anything is being able to maintain your own perspective while occupying another, and still being able to tell which is which. The issue of not being able to discern which is which is where I tend to find a problem with "anyone can read tarot and start doing readings for people!! :D!!" Like, yes, gold star for inclusivity, but also, shame shame, you get a moldy star too because now that wayward pilgrim is spiritually traumatized and the tarot hobbyist was just arrested with 250 of her closest cult members after getting caught pouring ayahuasca into the town's water supply.
Can you tell us your opinion again about the concept of free will on making readings about celebrities, and your point of view on it? (Many people are turned off to interact with those readings because they feel it's invasive.) What's your own personal stance on it? Can you explain like we are 4? - OMGGGG my favorite thing to talk about. It's a major grey area thing 100%. Like, I certainly couldn't (shouldn't, but I do lol) judge someone else in general for reading for celebrities, because, aside from the hypocrisy, I'd have to judge anyone who's ever written anything about a celebrity too. Reading and writing are very similar. If you can write about them, I can read them, and I can write what I read, and then you can read what I've written and write about what you've read of my reading, and neither of us has committed a crime or caused any more or less damage than what was there and would have been there had neither of us never opened our ears to listen nor our mouths to speak the very same.
Again, grey area. I claim absolutely no moral high ground over anyone who does the exact same thing I do but, perhaps, in a slightly different way. However, people who get on the internet, wave cards around, charge people to hear answers to extremely personal questions that anyone with common sense could tell you the subject of that reading wouldn't want people discussing, constantly play into drama or actively try to insight division or separation in a space that is not their own, communities and fandoms that are not their own. Extra points if they're actually completely full of shit and aren't actually reading at all. Yeah, I'm morally superior to those types of people, for sure.
My personal rules and such have been the same forever and they're not really based on any kind of moral code or what I personally think is right and is what everyone should be doing, it's mainly just what was in my head to begin with, it's just what made sense.
I do not know these people, I do not have permission to do these readings. These people are public figures, they're celebrities. I am not a person screaming into a microphone at a packed stadium, I am a speck of dust floating in space screaming into the void with millions of others who are much louder than me. To speak about them and to share ideas and thoughts about them is fine. In the way of the world as it is now, this is fine. However, when I do readings for them, I am not doing a reading for a "public figure" or a "celebrity," I am doing a reading for my guest. A guest's who's energy I have invited to connect with, with the proper precautions taken, protection, Guides on standby. My intentions are always made clear of what I'm doing and why I'm doing it. I make it clear that I am aware that I am not in charge here, their infomration is not mine, their energy is not mine. If I'm too close, tell me to get back. If I'm seeing something that I shouldn't because you didn't know how or that you had to hide it, that's fine, tell me to stop looking. All is well. I'm not stomping throuhg people's soulscapes ripping flowers out of thier garden and then bringing them out here to throw onto the internet all wilted and dead looking from how detached from the soul it actually is.
I learned in 2013 about Guides, but especially Spirit Guides, stepping in and blocking or warping information in order to protect their person. Certain information can be triggering to the soul or the conscious level mind, but it is still important for me to know as the reader in order to understand other things that I am allowed to share. There is an issue with sharing information, both written and spoken, where this can carry transmissions, sometimes intended sometimes not, which then can, even if they themsleves never actually hear it or know about it at all, travel to them and just kinda... POP! into awareness. It can be troubling on multiple levels, so never ever ever have I ever argued with a Guide about blocked information. I have, once or twice, argued with a Spirit Guide but that was only because it was her past husband and he was trying to help her by making her seem better off than she was at the time and he didn't realize he was kinda making things worse. And that other time where there was a Spirit Guide dressed up like an angel because (first-timer) he thought that's what he was supposed to look like.
UMMMMMMM... but yeah, I don't know if I actually have anything of interest with this one. I'm very in the grey area. I have no issues at all with people who have a problem with it, I only have a problem with people think they need to like kill me and shit over some blog posts that most people probably don't look at too differently from fanfiction or something. I respect the people that I read for - I do nothing different between the celebrity readings and paid personal readings when it comes to how they are perfromed, how I engage, what I look at. The only difference comes with how they are written. Obviously, no filter applied to paid readings becasue that's straight between me and the person who got the reading. Filter obviously yes applied to public readings because that is not my info to give out. Just in general, it's not.
Similar to how if I posted a photo of a celebrity out and about in the world that I was able to capture. That's not my information to give BUT grey area shit. I can share it becasue there is such a social norm to this when it comes to celebrities that this is just a thing we know we can do. Every individual can have a different degree that they fall into. Some will say any and all photos are stalker photos and should be criminalized, others will say as long as they're in a majorly populated place it's fine. If you post it the next day, that's fine, next week, even better. Post it, but blur the location. Post it, but make it black and white so it's harder to identify details. I PERSONALLY would be okay posting a photo, but I would probably block out anything that gives away specific location, and I absolutley would wait a couple of days. This is exactly how I am with how I post readings.
In the same way, if I ran into a celebrity, got a picture, and they specfiically said, please do not post that for like three months, then that picture is not going up for three months?? If they say don't post at all?? THEN IT'S NOT GOING UP AT ALL??? LIKE??????? THERE ARE TWO PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE????? NOT ONE PERSON AND A DECORATION THAT YOU GET TO SHOW OFF I don't know why I'm yelling, I have pizza here now :D
So, yeah, again, grey area, listen to the spiritual chaperones, respect poeple like they're people and always treat them like they're people becasue people like that. I personally say no to posting family, relationship, sexuality, and mental health-related information unless it's been made clear that that person has in fact spoken about it publically before. And even if they haven't but their soul's in there like SPEAK IT SPEAK MY TRUTH, I absolutely will not. Respect and preservation hits the conscious level first. Like lolololol that's kind of how Jungkook is, and I think there was someone else from a long time ago, or maybe a couple of years ago that had that same kind of pushy I NEED YOU TO SAY IT BECAUSE CONSCIOUS ME WONT like lollol NO!!!! We gotta look out for flesh and bone counterparts. Can't be making thier experience strenuous and brittle just because we're getting a bit impatient now, can we?
I'm going to stop talking now, thank you thank you !! :3

wait im sorry. ive never read past the first book of dotc and all my knowledge of it really just comes from your blogs. wh. why did the erins decide to include sexual violence in warriors? like. that seems a little. too much? like all im hearing of dotc is just. terrible shit. i like reading more angst/serious stuff (i wanna say darker but not in the way "dark media" usually means on this site) but this feels like WAYYY to much for a book series meant for kids....... what were they thinking??
I legitimately do not understand what people like about DOTC. You can go back to where I started this re-read, and you can visibly watch my charitability drain as the project goes on.
It feels like literally everything that people say they like about this arc is not there, while they've completely forgotten or misremembered SERIOUSLY awful shit
And now, listen. I'm a huge fan of xenofiction, which is a genre that is full of kid's and teen's media, but I do love more adult fiction. I love nuanced themes, dark subjects, and complicated plots.
DOTC's message is just plain odious. None of what it sets out to say is worth saying, and it's borderline incompetent at even saying it to begin with.
What they want to say with Clear Sky and Slash is that Clear Sky isn't "evil." He's a "fundamentally good person," and all of his intentions were good, so he learned a valuable lesson from all the abuse and murder. To say this, they CONTRAST him to Slash, a REAL evil person, who just loves hurting kids and harassing women. Clear Sky is good because he is not "real evil" like this fake, cartoon caricature we just made up.
There was absolutely zero need for them to write Slash the way they did. They really want you to be distressed for Clear Sky as his wife is assaulted in front of him and hauled off while kicking and screaming, and they decided the best way to do that was pregnant woman pinning face licking. Sexual violence is an easy way to disgust and anger an audience, simple as that.
As a kid you may not realize how messed up it is (though the asks I get on this blog are a testament to how many kids did, but didn't have the words to express their discomfort) but as an adult with your critical thinking on? It hits different.

Ryomen Sukuna x F!Reader - His favourite Obsession
Summary:
"I have many obsessions, but not the finest booze, nor the best fucking drug in this world compares to you, (y/n)"
Ryomen Sukuna. The man who's responsible for many crimes in the heart of Japan along with the other members of his yakuza organization. The man whose heart and eyes are as cold as ice when it comes to killing someone, not feeling the slightest pity for those he sees as a threat. He's the most feared man in Japan for a reason. Everyone knows who he is throughnout the country. His own men are fearing him, yet nobody knows him actually. Not even (y/n), but he knows everything about her. She is oblivious to that fact for a very long time, having no clue that the man of topic is stalking her. His love for her is beyond affection. It's an obsession. The kind of obsession where he would do literally anything for the woman he loves. He takes the phrase 'I would kill for you' rather seriously.

⚠️EXPLICIT CONTENT⚠️
✓ I only own the storyline of the book
× I do not own the characters of Jujutsu kaisen
Disclaimer + Chapter 1
Disclaimer (MUST READ)
Please don't skip this short disclaimer, there are important informations included within this "chapter".  (If you skip, don't blame me that I didn't warn you about a few things, because I always do.)
First of all... NO MINORS! Or at least no minors who are not mature enough for the explicit themes I am going to write in this story.
So if you are a snowflake and can't handle violence, bloody themes, mentions of murder, kissing, lemons/smuts or whatever that can be included in this category, you should stop reading right here. I'm sure you can find a more suiting book for yourself if you can't handle these kind of stuff and prefer rainbows and sunshine when it comes to books.
I'm not a merciful person when it comes to mature content, so don't blame me if you've proceeded to read further. I'm not taking responsibility for causing a shock or you losing your innocence. ✌️
Okay, let's start...
As in my other stories, I would like to thank you for clicking on my book and giving it a chance! It really means a lot to me! ❤️
What I give in exchange for clicking on my story is nice adventure! Something that my crazy mind created...
Those who have read any of my other stories know what kind of writing style I have, but for those who are new, I'm going to tell a few things:
• I usually write 2000 words per chapter. However there are times when I make it a bit longer if there is a lot happening according to the plot. I think 2000 words for a chapter is the most comfortable to both write and read.
• I am a merciless person when it comes to cliffhangers so bear with me.
• Speaking of which... Yes I do write in my free time just like most of the fellow fanfiction writers here. I have a life, a family with two kids, so please be patient and don't ask for an update when I just updated. (Of course badly waiting for it is something else, but I'm not going to force myself to write if I don't have time or if I'm not in the mood)
• I LOVE drama, fluff and dirty minded scenarios. I honestly live for these kind of themes so prepare yourself if you are as rotten as me when it comes to mature content ✨
• Yes the story will contain smut. (How could I not include any in it ತ‿ʖತ) I know that somewhere deep you all seek for quality smuts just like me... Wattpad as well as other platfroms lack quality ones. There are rarely any in my opinion that are actually great. Those chapters will definitely be longer than my usual 2000 words. Yes you read it right 😌 if you don't believe me, peek into one of my latest stories for proof.
• I won't always put a warning before the chapters, sometimes I forget about it. Oh and be sure to get the whole world's holy water for yourself. (Honestly I think it's going to be useless. We are all going to rot in hell for liking these kind of books but if all the hot anime men are waiting for us there who cares 🤷‍♀️)
• Also I am very cruel because I try to describe feelings as detailed as possible. This is both true to happy and sad feelings. Make sure to always have ice cream in your freezer and brewed tea. If you don't have any, come back here, I am giving them away for free. Extra popcorn and tea is free as well. Choose to your liking: 🍧🍨🍦, 🍿🍿, 🍵🫖
• I do love plot twists and make my readers confused or fool them with these twists so be prepared 😈
Things I appreciate:
💟 I love any kinds of feedback. Let it be comments, votes or messages. It makes me want to write more and update more frequently to satisfy your needs. So if you have anything to say, feel free to do it! I always appreciate it!
💟 If you have any fantasies in your mind you want to see throughnout the story tell me! There are no limits. (If you knew how dirty my mind is you would run away I swear)
A few more things that are important:
° My first language is not English so I apologize for any kind of grammar mistakes, I try my best. (Typos don't count)
° I'm not going to follow the anime's timeline. I mean, there will be a few things included to bring life to my book and be close to the world of Jujutsu kaisen, but this is a fanfiction where I am the boss 😎 Besides, this is a Mafia/yakuza AU. No cursed energy etc in this world.
° You may also find me on Archive of our own (Ao3) and Wattpad so you don't have to dm me and tell someone stole my work if you see the story there.
https://archiveofourown.org/users/HungarianShinobi
https://www.wattpad.com/user/Hungarian-Shinobi
But if you perhaps see my work somewhere else, let me know. I never give permission to anyone to post my stuff somewhere else.
Speaking of which. NEVER and I mean it... Never! Ever! rewrite, repost, use my story as a base or steal it. Any kind of form within the meaning of using my work in anything is absolutely unacceptable! I work hard on my books, please respect my effort and don't do this.

Chapter 1
Third person POV:
So beautiful. So... god... damn... beautiful....
He would think to himself whenever he steals a quick glance at the screen of his phone or the monitor back at his home. Yes... He has cameras installed all over the place where she lives and he hacked his way into the security cameras she most frequently visits in order to keep a close eye on her. He wished he had cameras in her home too, because he can't see what she does there inside.
Even from a distance he admires her. He loves her... Or rather, he is beyond obsessed with this woman named (l/n) (y/n).
He only talked to her once in person. In that same moment he fell... he fell so hard in love with her that there's never a moment he doesn't think about the woman he loves so badly.
He didn't even think he's capable of such emotions. That is until he met her on that certain day about half a year ago.
.
.
.
The bustling streets of Tokyo hummed with life, the neon lights reflecting off the damp pavement from the recent drizzle. (Y/n), a petite young woman with warm, doe-like eyes, was hurriedly making her way home, arms laden with groceries.
As she navigated the crowded sidewalk, her mind preoccupied with the mundane tasks ahead, she suddenly collided with a tall, imposing figure. Startled, she stumbled backward, her heavy canvas bag tumbling from her grasp and spilling its contents across the damp concrete.
"Ah-... I'm so sorry!" She exclaimed, quickly crouching down to gather her scattered belongings. Sukuna, a man of sharp features and cold, piercing eyes, knelt down to help her, his long, elegant fingers deftly picking up wayward items.
As they both reached for the same fallen apple, their fingers brushed. (Y/n)'s cheeks flushed at the unexpected contact, her heart fluttering in her chest. She looked up at him, her eyes wide and apologetic. "I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there."
Sukuna's gaze lingered on (y/n)'s face, drinking in the sight of her flushed cheeks and wide, innocent eyes. He felt a strange sensation in his chest, as if something inside him had awakened and was demanding attention. He gently took the apple from her hand, his fingers brushing against hers once more.
"No, no, it was my fault," Sukuna said, his voice smooth and low, like distant thunder. He handed her the apple, his eyes never leaving hers. She took it, her hand shaking slightly. "Thank you." she murmured, her voice barely a whisper.
As Sukuna stood up, he felt a sudden, overwhelming urge to keep her by his side. He felt possessive, territorial, and his mind raced with thoughts of her. He couldn't stop staring at her, drinking in the sight of her delicate features, her soft skin, her innocent eyes. He couldn't explain it, but he felt a sudden, intense connection to this innocent girl. Her pure, untainted beauty was like a siren's call to him, drawing him in and refusing to let him go.
His heart pounded in his chest like a drum, drowning out the cacophony of the city around him. He wanted to reach out, to touch her again, to mark her as his. The primal urge to claim her was overpowering, unlike anything he'd ever experienced.
His heart pounded in his chest as he watched her walk away, her figure small and delicate amidst the sea of strangers. He felt a strong urge to follow her, to ensure her safety, to know every little detail about her.
Sukuna trailed behind (y/n), his eyes never leaving her as she navigated the crowded streets. He followed her all the way to her apartment, noting the address and committing it to memory. As she unlocked the door and stepped inside, he lingered across the street, watching the lights flicker on in her window.
Sukuna's heart raced like a teenager's, his breaths coming in short, shallow gasps. His hands trembled as he ran them through his hair, his mind racing with unanswered questions. Who was this girl? What was it about her that had him so entranced?
A surge of emotions crashed over him. Confusion, curiosity, possessiveness, and a strong, undeniable desire to know more about her. He felt a connection to her that he couldn't explain, like an invisible thread binding their souls.
Was he obsessed? Is it possible in such a short amount of time? Yes...
From that day on, Sukuna's life was no longer his own. His mind was consumed by (Y/n), his every waking moment filled with an insatiable hunger to know everything about her. He found himself questioning his own sanity as he became increasingly obsessed with uncovering every detail of her daily life. Days turned into weeks. He barely slept, his mind constantly wandered to her, imagining her daily life, her habbits, her smile, the sweet scent of her hair. He felt like he was going mad, driven to insanity by his obsession.
He would wake up in the middle of the night, his mind racing with images of her, wondering what she was doing at that very moment. Was she sleeping? Reading? Thinking of someone else?
Someone else...
The mere thought of another man's eyes on her, or their thoughts drifting to her, filled Sukuna with a sickening jealousy. His stomach churned and his fists clenched at his sides. He couldn't bear the idea of sharing her, even just in someone's imagination.
He became obsessive, finding himself outside her apartment building at odd hours, just to see if she was home. He'd watch as other men passed her on the street, their eyes lingering on her innocent beauty. Each glance felt like a physical strike against his chest. "She's mine." He would whisper to himself, his voice low and dangerous. The thought of anyone else claiming her attention, her time, or her affection made him see red. He found himself growing increasingly irritable, snapping at his underlings and strangers alike when they would inadvertently mention a woman's beauty or charm.
Sometimes at night, unable to sleep, he'd stare at her window, imagining her sleeping form. The thought of some unknown man ever laying eyes on her bare skin made him positively murderous. He found himself inventing scenarios in his head... what he'd do if someone dared to touch her, dared to love her...
(Y/n) is his afterall...
Sukuna's obsession grew like a cancer, consuming every waking thought. He began to stalk her more brazenly, unable to keep his distance despite the installed cameras. He'd appear near her workplace, her favorite café, pretending coincidence. Each 'accidental' encounter sent electrical jolts through his body.
"Funny running into you here..." he said smoothly, approaching her table. His heart hammered in his chest at their proximity, at how the sunlight caught in her hair. "Mind if I join you? I have a few minutes before work and..." he trailed off, letting his eyes meet hers.
"Wait... weren't you..." she started, her eyes widening with recognition. "The man who... ? The apple..." she stammered slightly, putting down her coffee cup. He smiled, a slow, knowing smile. "Guilty as charged." he said, sitting down across from her.
"It's a small world, isn't it?" he murmured, eyes locked on hers. He could feel the weight of his obsession in every word, every glance. He wanted to reach across the table, to take her hand, to claim her right then and there.
"How have you been?" he asked, voice softer than usual. He already knew from his stalking she'd been well, her favorite matcha latte order hadn't changed.
Sukuna quickly softened his expression. "You know what, I should apologize." he said gently, leaning back slightly to give her space. "I realize we've only met briefly before, and here I am, invading your personal space."
He offered an apologetic smile, genuinely seeming to regret overstepping. "I hope you don't mind my rude interruption. It's just, after our brief encounter, you left quite the impression. I thought perhaps fate was trying to connect us again, silly of me, isn't it?"
She laughed, finding his self-deprecation surprisingly charming. "Not silly at all," she replied, picking up her coffee cup again. "You're so funny."
Sukuna chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "You really don't think I'm following you, do you?" He teased lightly, watching her reaction closely. She shrugged, oblivious to his ulterior motives.
"No, of course not!" She exclaimed, her eyes widening innocently. "Why would you follow me? I'm not interesting enough for someone to stalk." she said sweetly, completely unaware of the predator sitting across from her.
Sukuna's heart nearly stopped at her innocent naivety. How could she possibly think she wasn't interesting? Every single detail about her captivated him. The way she held her coffee cup, how her eyes sparkled when she laughed, the faint rose color of her lips. Everything...
He felt a primal urge to protect her, to shield her from the world's harsh realities. Even from himself. He was a mafia boss in the dark underworld afterall. And she was so pure, so unspoiled by the darkness that lurked in people's hearts. He wanted to keep her that way, locked away from anything that might tarnish her innocence.
For now, he would bide his time, slowly weaving himself into her life. He'd be patient, meticulous. He'd court her like a gentleman, shower her with affection and attention. He'd make her fall in love with him, blindly, deeply. He'd learn everything about her, from her favorite flowers to her deepest fears. He'd become her rock, her confidant, her everything. And when she was irrevocably his, he'd reveal his true self... slow reveals, designed to keep her hooked, to make her too entangled to leave.
"My name is Ryomen Sukuna. May I ask your full name?" he inquired politely, his voice as smooth as velvet, tilting his head slightly. "I feel like we've had such a pleasant encounter, and I'd like to know the name of the lovely woman I had the fortune of meeting." He finished his coffee in the meantime, placing the cup down gently on the table in front of himself.
"Of course." she replied with a sweet smile. "It's (l/n) (y/n)." She held out her hand politely, as if expecting him to shake it. Sukuna's heart skipped a beat at the chance to touch of her soft hand in his.
Gently, he grasped her hand, lifting it up to his lips. He barely brushed his lips against her knuckles, a subtle, almost imperceptible kiss. But it was enough to send shivers down her spine and make his heart race. "Enchanté, (l/n) (y/n)."
(Enchanté=delighted, overjoyed - french=english)
(Y/n)'s cheeks flushed a delicate pink as Sukuna's lips barely grazed her knuckles. Her heart fluttered wildly, unprepared for the electric spark his gentlemanly gesture ignited. "Oh!" she gasped softly, a startled and pleased sound escaping her parted lips.
He released her hand gently, a charming smile playing on his lips. He could see the effect he had on her, and it only made him want to pursue her more.
He glanced at his rolex which rested neatly on his wrist, hiding the tattoo beneath, part of his façade as a wealthy businessman. "I apologize, but I need to leave now." he said regretfully, standing up. "It was a pleasure running into you again, (y/n)." His voice was warm, his smile sincere... a lie...
Her eyes widened slightly, and she gasped softly, "Oh, you have to leave so soon?" She pouted gently, but her smile remained warm and inviting. Her cheeks still held a soft blush from his kiss on her knuckles. She looked genuinely disappointed that their encounter was ending so abruptly.
Sukuna chuckled lightly, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'm afraid so. The life of a businessman is a busy one." he lied smoothly, his gaze never leaving hers. "But perhaps we'll bump into each other again soon."
She nodded, a wistful smile on her face as she watched Sukuna prepare to leave. "I hope so. I work on the other side of the street, so... I always drink my morning coffee here." she said softly, waving goodbye with a gentle flutter of her fingers.
"Until we meet again, (y/n)." he said softly, his voice laced with sincerity that belied his true intentions.
He'd slowly introduce her to his world, gradually reveal his true nature. By the time she realized the monster he was, she'd be so enmeshed in their love that she'd never consider leaving. He'd keep her locked in his mansion, his queen, his obsession...
The bell above the cafe door jingled melodically as Sukuna stepped out, his eyes lingering on (y/n)'s form until the door swung shut behind him. He took a deep breath, a satisfied smirk curling his lips.
Phase one complete...

So, a friend of mine on Discord said something interesting, and I feel like you might have thoughts on it. So. What do you think of the idea of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as being "The Shaw Brothers for kids", a sort of gateway drug for "the kung fu genre"?
Not the Shaw Brothers, but Golden Harvest. Let me explain:
Tumblr media
I’m going to sound like a conspiracy theorist when I say this, but I believe the New Line Cinema “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” (1990) movie was actually a money laundering scheme by the Chinese Mafia, specifically, the Sun Yee On Triad.
Looking into the role of organized crime in martial arts cinema is a rabbit hole that goes very, very, very deep...and comes out somewhere very shocking at the end.
Tumblr media
You mention the Shaw Brothers, but there was another Hong Kong Producer who was the only credible rival to the Shaw Brothers (and who eventually surpassed the Shaws) in martial arts movies: Golden Harvest’s Raymond Chow….a man who started off as the Shaw Brothers’ talent division, but who eventually founded his own rival studio to the Shaws (with rumored triad financial backing), and who made Bruce Lee, Angela Mao and Jackie Chan stars. Raymond Chow is widely, and extremely credibly, believed to be a middleman for the Hong Kong Triad, the Sun Yee On, who used Golden Harvest as a front facing money laundering scheme, as claimed by Frederic Dannen in "Hong Kong Babylon," and Yiu Kong Chiu in "The Triads as Business," books I recommend if you are at all interested in the topic of organized crime in the Hong Kong film industry.
Raymond Chow was also the producer and primary funder of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies. I mean, what does it mean when your movie is entirely produced and funded by a guy well known for being a triad middleman and money launderer?
Tumblr media
And all of this happened at New Line Cinema, a borderline independent film company…one known for having dodgy financials it’s entire existence, no less, which ultimately doomed it? One of the most extraordinary things about the 1990 Ninja Turtles movie is that it was, essentially, an independent film. New Line would later become a powerhouse as a studio and created Lord of the Rings, but at the time, it was a mainly low rent operation, rather like Cannon films, known for the success of the slasher series “Nightmare on Elm Street.” So yes, I do believe "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (1990) was a money laundering scheme by the Chinese Mafia.
Tumblr media
The triads in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan take enormous interest in financing martial arts movies for the same reason that they take a tremendous interest in financing porn movies: they’re quick, cheap, dirty, and can be used as a mechanism for laundering money, and a way to claim money from illegal sources (say, heroin) comes from a clean and legal source that can be claimed on taxes, like say, a movie studio. In addition, Hong Kong’s strict rating system, the Category III (equivalent to a far stricter R-rating) meant that very violent movies were handled in ways that were outside the law in ways similar to pornography. And according to several Senate investigations in 1991 ("Hearings on Asian Organized Crime"), the triads were actively involved in money laundering as well outside of Hong Kong, including currency trading and real estate, and the idea they could back a studio is entirely possible.
Tumblr media
Everyone working in Hong Kong cinema has a story of dealing with the triads, who are interwoven into the city. Anita Mui's manager was was shot dead by mafiosos. Jimmy Wang Yu, the first Kung Fu star, was a suspected member of the Bamboo Union triad, and once borrowed money from one triad to pay another....and may have used his reported connections with the Triads to get Jackie Chan out of his initial contract with Golden Harvest, a favor Jackie repaid. Golden Harvest studios were actually firebombed in 1984, an event suspected to be due to Triad activity. Raymond Chow’s fellow producer and good friend who discovered Steven Chow, film producer Charles Heung, is well known to be the son of Heung Chin, who founded the Sun Yee On Triad, the largest in Hong Kong with over 25,000 members. And you don’t have to take my word for it; a US Senate Committee in 1991 on Asian Organized Crime identified Cheung as a leader of the Sun Yee On along with his brothers. Because of his association with Charles Heung and the Sun Yee On, Steven Chow, director of Kung Fu Hustle, cannot enter Canada legally.
Tumblr media
Jackie Chan asserted Raymond Chow’s triad connections in his autobiography, and also claimed that he only hired triad members and other people who were mobbed up at Golden Harvest. One example would be producer Ng See Yuen, who produced Once Upon a Time in China for Golden Harvest, and who Jet Li refused to work with ever again after his manager was assassinated by triad gunmen (Jet Li blamed Ng See Yuen for his manager's death).
There's also Lo Wei, a Shaw Brothers director and known “Red Pole” enforcer of the Sun Yee On Triad, who came over to Golden Harvest, where he directed Bruce Lee’s Chinese Connection and Big Boss, and also directed Jackie Chan’s earliest “period” historical movies for GH. Jackie Chan, in his autobiography, stated that the reason he initially left Hong Kong to go to the United States for an American career was because Lo Wei, his director on Laughing Hyena, put a hit out on him for refusing to make Laughing Hyena 2, and Jackie had to flee the city when Lo Wei sent gunmen to his house to abduct him. When arriving in the United States, he had to avoid some men with machine guns at the airport. To this day, whenever possible, Jackie Chan goes out in public armed for fear of gangsters.
Tumblr media
Even Jackie Chan though, never made the assertion that Raymond Chow and the Sun Yee On had Bruce Lee killed. This is important to mention because if you talk to any Chinese person, nearly all of them believe with unshakable, absolute certainty that the Chinese Mafia killed Bruce Lee, which is literally the plot of Game of Death (which, incidentally, Raymond Chow produced). Everyone around Bruce was mobbed up, because everyone in the Hong Kong film industry was mobbed up; in fact, it’s an open question how much it existed for its own sake. It’s notable Bruce Lee died at the home of Betty Lo Ting Pei, Golden Harvest actress, and his known mistress…who was married to a triad gangster. It’s also known that the first person that Betty Lo Ting Pei called when Bruce died was not medical services but Raymond Chow, something that to this day, she has not attempted to explain.
Tumblr media
It can be hard to imagine what the motive is for Raymond Chow and the triads to kill Bruce Lee. After all, wouldn’t Bruce Lee be more useful to Raymond Chow alive than dead? I never saw the angle, here. But then, you consider that in the last few months of his life, Bruce Lee started to set the stage for his transition to behind the scenes roles like producer, and was assembling a lot of stunt talent around him (a lot of productions down the pipeline intended to have Bruce Lee in producer roles, like Circle of Iron). The rumor among the stunt players, as recounted by Sammo Hung, was that Bruce was attempting to form his own stunt and film production company (as Chiba later did successfully in Japan) and that would involve organizing and peeling off half the talent in Hong Kong….in a deeply triad controlled industry, no less. There was also a story recounted by witnesses that Bruce Lee, a temperamental and explosively violent man, physically assaulted Raymond Chow in his office with punches and kicks when he heard Chow had two sets of books in their shared production company, as Bruce was always keen to keep the triads out of his films. Ten days later, Bruce Lee was dead. And for weeks before his death, Lee told his friends "Hong Kong is getting too hot, I have to get out."
And you know something? A Ninja Turtles movie from 1990 is probably the least of it. In 2020, a few documents were declassified by the Taiwanese government that showed that the members of the Bamboo Union Triad had 19 top governmental positions in Taiwan from 1955-1984 (the era when Taiwan was in a complete state of military rule), including the National Security Bureau and all branches of the armed forces. In other words, Taiwan during the military rule era wasn't just corrupted by the triads, the triads were the government.
I never cease to be amazed at the incuriousness of the journalistic professions. Governments don't declassify documents - especially something as damning as triad involvement in government - unless they have to. So why would the Tsai Ing-Wen government reveal this now in 2020, especially when anti-corruption is the driving force of Taiwanese politics, and anti-corruption sentiment pushed the KMT out of power since the 90s? Outsiders believe that the single biggest question in Taiwanese politics is their relationship with the mainland. Kinda...the status quo is more or less a settled question. It's actually anti-corruption and anti-triad infiltration, which is why the DPP are the ruling party now.
The answer, I suspect, is that the triads are no longer working with the Taiwanese government, but with the mainland government. In the 1980s, Wong Man Fong, editor of the Xinhua paper of Hong Kong, said in several interviews he was asked by the People's Republic of China to reach out to the triads to help make a deal: no government interference in their activities, if they pledge to keep order in the city after the handover in 1997. I strongly suspect the mainland now has a similar arrangement with the Bamboo Union, Green Gang, and the Si Hai Bang they did in Hong Kong, especially since so much money is going back and forth with the release of trade to the mainland. In other words, the triads in Taiwan are active agents of the PRC.
Backdoor deals between government and the mob aren't out of the question, just ask the CIA, who used Giancana Crime Family assassins sent to kill Castro as a key plank of the Bay of Pigs Invasion, the role of the mafia in the Kennedy Assassination, or how control of opium was a key under-the-table reason for the invasion of Afghanistan.
Tumblr media
What I suspect happened is, the Taipei government is turning on organized crime now after decades and decades of ludicrous and obvious corruption, because to the triads, the money to be made with the mainland and unification is far more lucrative. It's no coincidence that the largest pro-unification party in Taiwan is led by a triad gangster who spent time in jail for racketeering, Chang An Lo, nicknamed "the White Wolf." Like John Gotti, everyone knows he's a mobster and that's even part of the White Wolf's coolness and appeal (if you could vote for Tony "Scarface" Montana, boy, I bet a lot of guys would), but nobody can touch him. In fact, combined with how the "light world" financial institutions are intertwined along with the underworld, there's an argument to be made that the reason the PRC hasn't tried to take Taiwan is that for all intents and purposes, they already have it.
In other words, the triads have gone from using the Ninja Turtles to money launder to essentially setting global geopolitics.

Springtime Fushiguros♪
Context-: exploring the memories of childhood of fushiguros, marking the spring time of you and satoru gojo.
Dentist :- Gojo suggests going to the dentist to pull out Megumi's loose tooth.
Tumblr media
A lot of things bother Megumi fushiguro. The zenin kid has beef with pretty much everything, such as socializing, loud people, and gojo satoru.
He recently developed a new ick for anything sweet, after gojo's repeated attacks on his candies.
From the past few days, this list of megumi's discommodes has added a new hassle to deal with.
One of his teeth from his upper jaw has been annoying him for quite a while. First of all it was mild, almost not noticeable, thus he shrugged it off. Then, it got slightly inconvenient, the tingly sensation he would feel while eating or having a cold drink was irritating.
Though he still didn't inform anything about it to you, he thought the pain would go away naturally and it's maybe because he ain't brushing that hard.
And as the thought process of a 7 year kid suggests, last night he brushed his teeth extra hard thinking it might help and subsequently this morning he woke up with a pain even more worse.
Megumi came out of his room, which he shares with Tsumiki, he has been in his room for half of the morning pretending to be asleep, debating with himself whether he should go and inform you or maybe wait a bit more for the pain to magically disappear.
And when he finally couldn't handle it anymore, wanting you to get his of his problem he couldn't find you.
'Whatcha doin' kid?' asks gojo, closing the refrigerator, after taking out a bottle of water to sip. He had been noticing megumi for a while, going in and out of your bedroom. He assumes Megumi wants breakfast, opening the refrigerator once again to take out the carton of milk, the loaf of bread and the jar of jam.
'brush your teeth if you haven't, till then I will get your breakfast ready.' he says, winking at the kid proudly, thinking he's such a good guardian, picking up on megumi's necessities. After all he had spent $531 on buying all those parenting books aren't worthless. So what if, he had only read 6 out of those 57 books? He would have scoffed at toji, teasing him how he knows megumi better than him.
'I don't want breakfast.' said Megumi plainly, what? An invisible arrow passes through gojo's heart, how can he be wrong? He turns around with a swift motion, discarding the breads on the counter, which he was about to put in the toaster.
Megumi isn't even looking at him, he's busy staring at the clock. 'why won't you have breakfast? Are you implying that I can't even toast a bread?'
'maybe. Where are y/n san and tsumiki?'
'out for grocery—wait don't change the topic, what do you mean by mayb—' he was about to ramble on when he noticed megumi a little more clearly.
He walked up to him, bending himself to his level, pulling at his blindfold, eyeing him as he removes them completely. Megumi's one hand is cupping his cheek, while the other is curled into a tight fist.
'You've got a teeth problem?'
'how do you kno—ah—hurts...'
'yes! I knew it. My days of reading those books aren't useless.' he felt pleased at himself, wanting to perform a ballet right now. However he calmed himself, taking a look at megumi glowering at him.
'open your mouth wide, lemme see. Which one? This?' megumi nods at him, as he figures out, he has a loose teeth.
The first one.
'you've a loose teeth. It will fall out on its own.'
'HUH?!'
'it's normal. A new one will grow out from the bare spot.' He said pushing a bit at the teeth to see how loose it is.
'ahh hurts!'
'can't do much about that.'
Tumblr media
Megumi tucks at his sleeve, it's only been 15 minutes since gojo announced his teeth will fall out. 'what now?'
He stays quiet for a while, head low, then slowly murmurs, 'it hurts, can't you do something about it?'
'well then, open your mouth, lemme pull it out.'
'what! No!'
'you want it out right? This is the only option then.' gojo shrugs.
'.....'
'or else....'
'or else?'
'we have to go to the dentist. They will take it out with a tool, like an big sized tweezer. Let's go, shall we?'
'Hell no.'
'then lemme pull it out. Won't hurt much i swear. Open your mouth wide.'
'aaa—' Megumi opens his mouth hesitatingly, unsure what his Sensei might do, but he definitely doesn't want to pull it out with a tweezer.
'Megumi, what do you want for lunch?' gojo asks diverting megumi's attention, and before he could answer, gojo slowly pressures his index and thumb on his teeth plucking it out with little effort and a 'ow' from megumi.
'see here you go.' standing up proudly handing up his teeth in the air in victory, when megumi kicks him, 'ahh, what was that for?' he asks.
'you said it wouldn't hurt. Moreover it feels weird and blood is coming out.'
'you will get used to it. There's still a whole set of teeth to fall.'
Megumi's mouth fall wide open, at his sensei's words, he wishes the next time its you getting rid of it gently, like you do for other things. And not gojo coming up with more ideas to pluck his teeth off.
Tumblr media
You came home to a proud gojo, flexing megumi's first loose tooth, he pulled out. He even suggested preserving it with raisin as a memory. You chuckle as Megumi shows you the gap between his teeths and how weird it feels.
'hey babe! You know what, the next time he gets another loose tooth lemme use my cursed energy to get it out.'

THE WAY OF ALL FLESH 《万人の途》
You need not hurry, We've got all the time in the world.
My memory has failed sadly of late.
He is violently pessimistic.
It is wildly unlikely.
There is all the difference in the world between the two.
make an unholy fuss about very little.
Dear me! What a sorry mess everything is in!
The painting is a rank imitation.
a gross mistake.
a crushing bore.
with no earthly reason.
be crass ignorance.
every trick in the book.
They have all the advantages in the world.
go native. go bust.
The proposal came one vote short of unanimous approval.
I can't reach the buttons on the back. Will you do them for me?
So many movies have had this plot that it has been done to death.

It seems he got mixed up on his instructions.
Who is going to take you up on your offer!
He erred grossly on that problem.

He is the sort of man whose personal charm grows on you on acquaintance.
Wherever did you put?
It was a good joke, but fell flat on him.
The mood grew on me.
My mind was not on it.

Shame on you!

It is too late to perform an operation on him.
You ought to be harder on him.
Acids act upon metals.
It is unfair on you.
His voice grates upon my ear.
The drinks are on me.
Do you know you are taking a great deal on yourself?
Don't tell on me.
She seems to have something on him.

The scene was on.
I lay awake thinking over it all last night.
I had to rack my brains over that problem.
She hesitated over her answer.

There is another side to the coin.
There's not enough depth to the story.
There is more to it than that.
There was no jerk to his motions.
That is about all there is to it.
The words had an ironical ring.
Have you any clue to work on?
The brakes refused to work.
The machine was still in fine working order.
The plan worked remarkably well.
It is very well in theory, but will it work?
His reason ceased to work.
Flattery will not work with him
It might work and again it might not work
I'm afraid it won't work so well.
Our plan worked successful.
The trick won't work with him.
The handle doesn't work.
The warning seemed to work most effectively.
Her face worked fiercely.
The screw had worked loose.

They will work you to death.
He worked on a smile that didn't quite come off.
There is no knowing how that will work itself out.
This problem will not work out.
The safe opened to the key.

The medicine worked into the wounded skin.
Oh! I'm inside out!
You are unzipped.
No stopover on this ticket.

The question is who will bell the cat.
The fact that he was sick was not very impressive to her.
You asked for it.

Does he really mean it? I wonder.

Did she agree with you?
Turn your face toward me.
I don't think I can do it,but I'll try.
What is true of them is equally true of you.
They trumped up a charge to put him in jail.
Think it over carefully before you decide.
What are you talking about?
He bothered me with stupid questions.
Can it really be mine?
Don't calculate on me helping you.
No one called my attention to it.
Watch when you talk about religion.
You have the advantage of me.
They shouted to the utmost of their strength.
She never gave utterance to her personal feelings.
There were very few passengers in the train.
How much use did you get out of the machine?
It's not us that tried to upset their plans.
There was a chasm yawning in front of us.
Let me see,where was I?
Where did the plan go wrong?

know what you mean.

Holy crap I haven't looked at your account in a while (idk why but your posts just haven't been popping up on my home page) and I saw your new pfp! IT'S ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! Your art is so good!!
Also I wanted to hear about your personal head cannons for Warriors because I would love to hear them!!
a lot of people have been telling me that actually, that they’re not seeing my posts on their dash anymore, i wonder if something is going on with that :( (and also IVE noticed that my engagement has been down, tho i’d thought that’s just because this is a busy time of year)
HEHE THANK YOU!! :3 i love my blorbo and the voices wanted me to draw him again
god there are. so. so many that i have- but to list off a few:
- middle child (he’s number four of seven), and im so set on this one. he has six sisters (one of which is his twin (Linkle)) because i know in my heart this man was raised by women. also i hc his mom is still alive because he deserves a living mother after everything (and he loves her and shes awesome and she misses him very very much)
- he has the worst vision ever, he cant see more than like 20 feet away from him without things just getting blurry, but he genuinely doesn’t realize that his vision is shit he thinks hes normal
- due to his burn scars its hard for him to regulate his temperature so he overheats easily in hot weather if hes not careful
- i hc after the war he took in two cats that he found abandoned in a destroyed village. he tried to find who they belonged to but couldn’t, and initially he wasn’t going to keep them but then he got attached and now those are his babies and his girls (Rosie and Delilah). He knits them sweaters because they have no fur and knitting is a good productive mindless activity for him to do when he’s stressed
- on a similar note: i hc he has experience as a tailor and is very good at sewing and mending things because while his family does own a small farm and sell some crops (he’s a country boy turned city boy and this is another hill i will die on), they’re tailors and thats the main way they make money
- absolutely terrified of cuccos because Linkle would chase him around with them when they were kids and eventually the cuccos took this to mean any time they saw Warriors they were to chase him, without Linkle even being there
- i hc his eyes are hazel and that his hair is naturally dark brown and very curly, but he started bleaching and straightening it when he ended up in the army and got to Castletown
- hes scared to go home to his family now that the war is over because he’s worried hes changed too much as a person after everything he went through and he can’t mentally handle the idea of being rejected from a place he gets so much comfort from just thinking about, so he keeps his distance and is full of some pretty lame ass excuses as to why he wont go home (it’s been well over a decade. i hc he left at 15-16 and is currently 27 almost 28). Linkle is the only blood relative he’s seen since he left for the war and she tries to convince him to come home whenever she sees him
- i hc he looks just like his mom, which is a blessing and a curse for him because he can never hate his face because he is literally IDENTICAL to his mom and he loves and misses her so much, but it’s painful to look at himself in the mirror sometimes. Linkle, being his TWIN, is can also be hard to look at
- HUGE history nerd, and getting to travel through the eras and learn about them has been the most exciting thing to ever happen to him. he didn’t have access to a formal education as a kid, he would’ve been home schooled basically, and once the war was over and he had access to a library full of knowledge from all over the place on topics he’d never even realized existed he just started reading and didn’t stop. he LOVES to learn and he loves to explore, and half his journal is just all his observations on the eras a little notes and could literally be a history book on its own. he draws diagrams and maps and all sorts of stuff in there, and when he goes home he LOVES getting to tell people the history books are fucking wrong
- the other half of his journal contains more personal things, and also notes on his companions and strategies for battles (he is INCREDIBLY observant and keeps very detailed notes. his journal is basically an extension of his brain because the ADHD can make it hard to keep track of all his thoughts sometimes). none of it is written in ‘hyrulian common’ (english), the entire thing is in his native language (portuguese) written in an alphabet none of the chain are able to read (and no one in War’s Castletown and read it either. should someone take his journals it would take them a good long while to translate them)
- his left hand is a little messed up, sometimes it shakes and sometimes his grip is really weak, so on days his wrist isn’t strong enough to wield his sword in a way that makes him feel safe, he brings out the fire rod. two handed weapon, offers him more stability, and yeah he also does just like watching shit go up in flames
- he’s actually an introvert. the loud obnoxious personality is something that was created from rumors and expectations of him from the kingdom and the whole ‘Captain’ persona is really just like some character he plays. he’s definitely a bit dramatic at his core, but hes a much more quiet and reserved person than he comes off as. he greatly values his privacy and alone time

Rant on sotr (maybe hot take??): One gripe I have with Sunrise on the Reaping (which isn't a bad novel to me) is how it was written in terms of topics. It's that the book should have been marketed as less of a YA novel and gone with more topics adults have a better understanding of.
Suzanne Collins finally got away with using hefty words most people steer clear of (sometimes for understandable reasons). For example; the word 'raped' is used. Which is explicit (and I think it's important because it's calling it exactly what it is) and it's bold for a series advertised to a young audience (not that teens dont know these topics or shouldn’t be allowed to read these topics because I think its important that they do).
If she could get away with such heavy topics out loud instead of implications (such as Finnick in MJ). Why does this book feel... too juvenile. It was almost like it was trying to be melodramatic more than an actual representation of some topics.
Haymitch is a kid, and Suzanne does a great job at writing realistic teens, but that's not what I mean when I say it's a bit juvenile. I mean that the story doesn't feel like it works for the demographic one way or another. It's explicit at points in the sense that it discusses very mature themes for us fans that are now older and have a better grasp on these topics, but it also holds its self back by trying to stay in the box of being a YA novel and not really giving the best nuance with these topics for that reason.
I'm not saying the book had to go into gruesome detail (because that could cause its own issues) or that we need all the information on the fucked up topics. I just wish the book felt like it has the same nuance and handling those topics with more class as the og trilogy had.
But half of the time, I feel like the information we are given for some of these topics is about as nuanced as a speck of dust. And that disappointed me. Because, yes, Haymitch is a kid, and it's in first person, so writing him with some childishness makes sense. But it's more of how things were formatted, when and why they were brought up in the story, as well as the fact that the writing itself, beyond Haymitch, can be super clunky and that there are points where it struggles with the tone.
Idk if this rant made sense, but I still like sotr for many different aspects, and overall, the writing was fine. It's a fine entry in the series, but some ideas and execution fell flat for me (personally). I think the novel would have benefitted itself more had Suzanne Collins wrote it with an older audience in mind and had let the series mature a bit.
Idk, just feels like a regression of what we already got from the og trilogy and tbosas

Goofy personal headcanons about the wessel brothers and their bf's:
-the thing about sharing a braincell, most of the they couldn't be more different from each other but by closer observation u can see how they equally brainrot as siblings
-that Marlon secretly borrowers fruity books and films from the library (like fluffy, cheesy romance stuff), when Leon finds out he demands to make it brother ritual to read and watch these together after a long needed coming out talk
-Leon is bi and never really thought about it, he just is and Marlon homo which he accepted in silence to keep it secret
-they hace the funniest hear me outs like Leon having a thing for 'prince charming guy's' and likes rough vanilla *stuff, while Marlon worships villains, gangstas ect and doesn't seem to know that there is a line between bdsm and straight up torture
-they do some 1 braincell shit together sometimes like Marlon shakes his hips in Shakira to good songs and Leon next to him starts aggressively twerkin, or they have fights over 'tf did u eat my snack, I licked that it was mine' one of there bf's commenting about it, so for fun Marlon trys being cheeky and gives Kong a little lick- Leon sees- Leon licks Deniz half face and a little in mouth soaking him in saliva
-Leon makes Chinese jokes about Kong but no 'gangsta' jokes, because he respects that this is a critical topic for him and Kong is thankful for the fact that his bf's combat-dwarf brother hates him respectfully
-Kong and Deniz got along pretty well but don't do much together
-Marlon had a crush on Markus when he was younger and even a small heartbreak over it
-Neither Deniz nor Kong mind being bottom sometimes
-Leon likes to munch on Deniz, or just have something from him in his mouth (like his arm, strand of hair or ear)
-that Lean has adhd and has cute fidget methods
-they have a small breakdown realizing that there both bottoms
-one a them has a knok up kink
-Kong in corset or a tight Chinese outfit with his hair braided back into a elegant bun 🙏
-bad boy Deniz, or like an metal mabey even emo 👀
-Deniz and Leon grow up to be the soccer power couple
-Marlon becomes a teacher, Kong works as a mechanic and they like to dance and cook together
-the brothers have a resist/sexsist half of family and are outcast for being gay and even worse both dating foreigne
-Kong with lots of tattoos and the brothers having a sibling one
-that Jojo is like there little brother and that he started hanging with Kong since they live so close together
-that Kong and Marlon are naturals handling kids
-Marlon gives Leon tips for stuff and a whole presentation on 'how to guve a blowy'
-Deniz likes sports cars and Kong bikes
-the brothers steal their bf's clothes and brag with each other about it
-they kink and taste shame each other just like good siblings do
-one of Leon's fav nicknames for Kong are monkey or king Kong
-the brothers learn together things to tease or seduce their bf's
-Marlon likes to snap his choker
Well I think I have more but for now that's enough ;p

I’m going to blunt and say I’m not excited for the Dick Grayson and Jason Todd movie.
Why because how James Gunn is handling it but honestly it is more to do with DC pushing Damian way too much in terms of films. Like does no one exactly want to talk about how awful it is that Damian is being push as the ‘true son’ Like hello what are Dick, Jason and Tim then especially Dick are telling me they’re not his kids because they’re not blood related.
God, this type of thinking sends shivers down my spine it’s like how the fandom goes they’re not blood related so it’s fine to ship these characters who literally have familial bond and view each other as siblings and in Bruce case a surrogate father and a guardian. Look I get it is just fiction and all that jazz but maybe reflect to yourself on why you think that it is not to demonising you for your likes in taboo ships but to consider why people get uncomfortable with that mentality. I’m honestly just so sick of this small silly trend going on with DC non-bio children are less valuable then bio children and no amount of hate towards Bruce as a character will change the fact that this is not okay.
Look I get people do not like Bruce but at the end of the day taking Batman out of the picture completely changes Dick and Jason lives wether you like it or not Bruce as a character has a heavy impact on them.
While I have my gripes with how some Nightwing and mainly Redhood comic writers tend to villainise Bruce way too much and even flat out make him go against his character and morals. I’m looking at you Dixon Nightwing year one and probably Robin year one by him as well, sorry forever basis to Dark victory which is my preferred Batman and Robin origin story. (Maybe that will change with the new Batman and Robin year one this year, I’m so excited for that I hope it’s good.)
Like seriously writers I’m sick of this stop having Bruce be the main conflict of the story let Dick and Jason have their own agency as characters. Making it revolve around Bruce makes seem like you have no faith in them as characters to hold their own without anything tied to Batman. Comic book writers I challenge you to make story with Bruce and his children without being him being the main conflict like you can have family conflict without being written in a flat out abusive way and making Bruce even bend out of character for drama and being overly dark and edgey.
Like Jason can be such a fascinating character but you have to be willing to accept he is a morally grey character and while yes he can conflict with Batman it is more about their beliefs on what is justice and how they approach that said justice and how it should be served.
Batman is not a bad father for not wanting to go against his beliefs what Jason is asking from Bruce is honestly selfish ask, just so he prove that he loved his son even though Bruce does care about his son to point it destroyed him mentally that he died. Look I get he is hurting it’s understandable but honestly redhood writers need to accept that he does things that need to face consequences for his actions taking a life even if a criminal has consequences to think about and how it can affect one psyche then you need to think about a even though a criminal death effects people close to them. Aka stop blaming Bruce for every choice and action Jason makes it takes away his agency as character in general writers.
But challenge for Bruce writers mostly male writers stop making him hit his kids for the sake of drama and violence or just being ‘dark’ or for no reason at all. While I don’t mind conflict and Bruce having a rare scuffle with his children, I’m honestly just tired of it which is why world finest is so healing for me as both a Dick Grayson and Bruce Wayne fan.
Opps, I got a bit off topic there. But my point being, I feel trying separating the Robins from Batman is just unfortunate especially given I like the connection between Dick and Bruce and they both learn to become both partners in arms but also a family.
I don’t know maybe I am just upset that I’m denied my original dynamic duo again in a film. Especially I feel sometimes writer are ashamed of Dick origins as Robin which is just disappointing but also forcing Dick and Jason to have a relationship they didn’t have in the film just feels so wrong to me. Like yes they’re brothers but you’re sacrificing apart of Dick character and who he is just so you tell a story about them being in the streets together. Maybe it can work but who knows but I just feel it wasn’t done with the best of intentions behind it, especially given how DC is currently pushing Damian as batman only son in the film media at least.
But those are just my thoughts and I’m happy for those that are excited about the film but from what I heard about it so far it’s just not the Robin film for me.
I see your points.
I personally don't have many expectations for the movie? I mean, I'll probably watch it when it releases, but I'm not particularly excited about it since I'm not really a fan of character's origins being changed. Like, I get it'd be difficult to have two Robins in the same movie and show both their origins separately, but I guess when I heard about it I just thought how amazing it'd be to finally get a good Robin movie that followed the comics only to find out it was more of an alternative universe that might change people's perceptions of the characters for those who don't know anything about the comics.
I'm mostly worried there'll be people now thinking this is the true origin of Dick and Jason—but specially Dick, since Jason gets something more similar to his origin story.
However, perhaps it's possible Dick did have his Circus origin, but instead of ending up with Bruce, he escapes and ends up finding Jason. And I think it's possible Dick will find Batman later and that's how he becomes Nightwing, but that's just me guessing.
All in all, I don't disagree with people who are excited for this film, but I don't necessarily agree either. I suppose I'll just wait and see how it goes without getting my expectations too high or too low. Who knows? Maybe it ends up being better than what I imagine.

The number of neutered creatures in my household now outnumbers unneutered creatures 2 to 1 😎
Over 5 years after deciding I did not want to bear children, and almost 3 years in the Socialized Medicine queue for elective surgery, I finally got my tubes removed yesterday 🎉
I had to bring in a urine sample, and you don't realize how hot the human body is until you have to handle a mason jar full of fresh piss
The vibes of the hospital building itself were fuck-awful, which is approximately what I expect from a brutalist style building built in the 1980s. (Half the buildings at my alma mater were brutalist, I did my time in Concrete Jail.) Strangely dimly lit, beige af. I would have loved a splash of Children's Hospital Red.
The staff were all wonderful. The admissions nurse was like "Do you work in medicine? You sound like you know what you're doing." Which. Is very funny. Because I do not work in medicine, I have just done The Research. for My Fictions.
I randomly read a Reddit thread a couple weeks ago about getting the IV in on the first try, and I jinxed the anesthesiology person (I think she was a med student or a resident) by saying "Gonna get it in on the first try? :)" and she was like "haha of course :/" and then. She blew the vein in my left hand. After I told her and the main doctor that the phlebotomy people at the blood clinic prefer the right side, and after she spent like 2 minutes tapping around on my hand. My bad.
The first and last conversation I had with my mother on this topic was 5 years ago, she told me "don't do something you'll regret". Waking up, and still loopy on anesthesia, one of my first thoughts was a very teary "I'm free". In vino veritas.
The gas they inflated my abdomen with is actually more painful than the incisions themselves. Gum + hot tea + heating pad were my BFFs yesterday. I'm feeling a lot better today already.
I'm booked off work until next Monday and everyone has been very nice about my "minor surgery" and I feel kind of bad cuz it's like. There's not actually anything wrong with me, I'm getting elective surgery to sterilize myself. But regardless, it was nice to know they care. The only people I actually told what I was having done are my boss (who also doesn't have kids at 40+) and my tech (who is also on the fence about having kids). My in-laws also know, by virtue of proximity and my husband having to play chauffeur + chore boy on a long weekend lol.
My period is scheduled for next week so I'm glad I have the whole week off lol. We'll see how well tramadol does for cramps because they gave me 30 capsules and I definitely feel like I won't need that many for the surgical pain. It's actually kind of nuts how much cheaper actual opioids are than my stupid dermatologist-prescribed acne cream. 30 bucks for 30 pills versus like 170 bucks for a little tube of cream (before insurance).
I have a whole whack of YouTube videos and AO3 tabs that have been waiting for attention, so hopefully I can chug through a bunch of that this week 💪
Anyway thanks for reading my rambles, here's a bonus Nurse Scout giving 0 fucks that I have abdominal incisions

Helloooo!!! I HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A LOVELY DAY/NIGHT ❤️💖❤️💖❤️💖
I have a silly question for thee! 😌🪭
In a modern AU, what jobs would your ocs have?
(And dont just say “ahh SMY would still be an assassin! Just a modern one!” YOU SILLY GOOSE 🫵🤨 /silly. I mean like civilian 21 century job! YEAH!)(also feel free to include WQW in on this)
I wrote all of this instead of doing Psychology 🥰🥰
Shui Muyang:
What do you mean "don't say they wouldn't still be an assassin", of course they wouldn't be an assassin they would own and work in a brewery, because Zui Xian is still the alcohol peak and of course they like making wine and alcohol in general so of course they would work in a brewery because that's still a modern job they would work in a brewery and disappear for a week and then just randomly appear after travelling halfway across the world and going on this random action film-esque adventure just to get this random spice for their new experiment wine project because Zui Xian is an alcohol peak with breweries so in the modern era Shui Muyang would own and work in a brewery where alcohol is brewed, you fucking NUMPTY (/silly/silly)
Wei Qingwei (what do you mean 'you can add him' he literally is my OC who told you otherwise):
Wei Qingwei is probably one of those guys who does literally all sorts of hands on jobs; one day you see him working in a garage, fixing up people's cars and the next day he's carving a table out of wood for your new house, and then the day after that he's forging a decorative sword you're gifting someone for their birthday, and then the day after that he's at your best friend's baby shower, excitedly offering a cute blanket that he knitted for them. He's literally everywhere, like the neighbourhood mascot, you want anything done and someone will always give you his number - he's probably got different flyers depending on what you want done, each carefully designed to bring out the best parts of the craft he's offering on the flyer. Everyone has at least one of each. He's appearing at the local library as well, reading to any children that ask him and then showing up at the orphanages in the area with so many cool handmade toys for the children.
Jiang Qingbai:
I like to think that Jiang Qingbai would be tucked away in some small room, surrounded by books and being hired to research things for people (is that a job? Make it one for her <3), delving deep into whatever topic she has been set that day. She rarely leaves her little room, even when the work day is over, and definitely has to be dragged out by her younger sibling if they want her to do anything. She probably has a background in some form of religion (cult??? Eh, maybe), and the lack of control in what she learned probably spurred on her desire to know things, which is why she's so suited for her job. She doesn't even have to talk to people (not that she can)!!! Give her her little room with books piled everywhere and at least two monitors with her PC so she can do two things at once.
Feng Licheng:
When Feng Licheng isn't assisting his mama in the brewery (mainly because they don't trust him not to blow something up some days), he's likely offering different mini ice skating classes to people. That's right, my baby boy is an ice skater (and a skateboarder) because if you don't think that my always-moving little guy wouldn't want to be doing something that relies entirely on movement, do you even know my guy? He's helping both kids and adults stumble their way around the ice rink every other week, and then teaching any newbies he finds in the skate park whenever he's not doing that. Probably teaches dance as well, because my baby boy has RANGE!
Gao Hongxia:
Gao Hongxia is like Wei Qingwei's apprentice, following him to his jobs and helping him out, learning as she goes - she's better at other things than others, however, like better at doing the forging and the plumbing rather than the knitting and woodwork. She also handles the finances because Wei Qingwei is far too generous with what he charges and she took one look at this and just thought “not on my watch”. Her mother or something hired him and she just watched him be completely underpaid for his practically professional work, before chasing him out and practically begging to be taught everything he knows so that she can stop this kind man from getting severely underpaid because he's too kind and generous to have any higher prices.
Li Anran:
Li Anran is both acting as Jiang Qingbai's assistant and working at a bar when he's not doing that. He's in charge of dealing with possible clients and the “social” side of the business - basically, any client of Jiang Qingbai's has something to say about the “scary assistant” that stares ominously and sometimes even glares (*shudders*) if something that he doesn't like is said, or if the hermit researcher is insulted for not showing up. Hiring Jiang Qingbai is not for those whose egos are too big for their bodies, because the bodyguard assistant will crush them instantly with little more than a stare. Similar things are said about a bartender who never seems to want to be there, but makes literally the best cocktails ever and scares away anyone being creepy, so most people greet him with a smile (even if he doesn't smile back).

I don’t think either Remus or Severus were made to be teachers. Remus can’t handle groups of kids responsibly, though he’s somewhat likeable in their eyes, and Severus just feels to me like the type of man to prefer a job that rather requires working alone than dealing with children morning to night. Sirius is probably the guy who obtains the job interview but shows up late and doesn’t treat his work too seriously (not pun intended) and gets fired. We never get to see him to have a job since he’s in Azkaban and pretty much covered up by family inheritance anyway.
What do you think about that? What jobs do you think would suit them?
Of course not—Severus hates kids. Being responsible is one thing, liking your job is another. They’re two different things. Years ago, I worked at a call center and hated it with every fiber of my being, but I was one of the best sales agents on the platform. Doing your job well doesn’t mean you like it. It’s clear Severus didn’t enjoy his job, and it’s equally clear he had zero patience and no social skills. Especially no social skills, let’s not kid ourselves. I think his thing would have been dedicating himself to research, both potions and the Dark Arts—something he was really passionate about. But I can’t even picture him working for the Ministry. I see him more as someone doing independent research and making money by selling articles or books on the topic. I’ve always seen him as the equivalent of a typical scientific researcher who’s at a university because it allows him to continue with his projects. Occasionally, he might teach a class because his contract requires it, but it would be classes for adults—people who aren’t kids, people who wouldn’t get on his nerves. People who are there to learn about the subject and who already have some level of knowledge. That, to me, would be his ideal job, considering his interests and personality.
If the wizarding world weren’t such a mess, Remus would probably dedicate himself to matters involving people affected by his condition and support for kids who are also werewolves. Clearly, he’s good with kids, but he’s an absolute disaster as a person. So, well, what better than working with kids like him who can defend themselves if he forgets the potion, right? Though I still wouldn’t leave him alone with kids, but whatever.
I can’t picture Sirius working at all—it’s just not something I can imagine. I see him more as the typical rich guy who spends his time traveling and "experiencing life," which is basically pretending to do useful things when he’s really just starting absurd projects that won’t go anywhere and abandoning them as soon as he gets bored. He clearly couldn’t work for anyone because he’d be super irresponsible, and I can’t imagine him taking orders from figures of authority. He’d end up fighting with everyone, getting fired, or quitting. I see him more as the typical drifter who’s 50 years old but acts like he’s 20, and everyone keeps reminding him he’s not 20 anymore, but he’ll never stop being 20, not even at 80, you know? Zero material for a functional person in the working world, honestly.

Hi, we are a traumgenic system and we want to get into the field of special ed. However, we find it scary to get a real job as a system. We want to ask how you guys are doing with being a 6th grade teacher (thank you for being a teacher!) And if you have any tips for us. Thanks
Hey there! A new ask today, since I haven’t closed my ask box here :P
Happy to give insight into teaching as a system. It’s genuinely one of my favorite topics. Firstly, bless your soul for going into special ed; that’s something I don’t think I’d be able to do, for a lot of reasons. Take this all with a grain of salt, as I’m not special ed, but from my experience:
SpED has a lot of paperwork. Like. A lot. I can’t stand needless forms and red tape, so that would drive me way more up the wall than the shit I already have to do as a teacher. There’s also a lot of repetition; hot sheets that spell out packets of info from info you got separately and had to skim down twice. Ough.
SpED hits conflicting needs issues for me, primarily with my autism. I can’t handle one-on-one with autistic students without draining myself severely. Now imagine a caseload of 30 students. 🫡 I salute any and all SpED teachers.
SpED is booked. I get 2 planning periods every day, one of which usually has a meeting. My SpED teachers usually are permitted two… but rarely do they actually have those periods, because when they have no direct classes, they’re asked by other teachers to help provide accommodations. That’s so we can legally meet IEP/504 requirements. I already do so much work at home due to a lack of time at school. I can’t imagine how much the SpED teachers do.
None of that is meant to scare you away; it’s just some things I’ve noticed as a 6th grade ELA teacher with frequent co-taught classes. It’s why I’ve leaned further away from SpED since starting my teaching career — but I’m only me, and certainly not you. If you have a passion for it, there is absolutely no harm in diving in and trying.
For me, teaching has been going remarkably well, and my system really doesn’t impact that much. The most impact it has is that I struggle more with my memory. So… if you do too, ask for help! Reminders, calendar invites, etc.
Here’s some of the tips that came to my mind:
Get to know the kids. They are bundles of joy, and I mean that genuinely. They have so much to share and it’s always so good. Plus, if you don’t have a relationship with them, then straight up, they have no reason to listen to you.
Get to class on time. For fucks sakes, that’s what my co-teacher cannot seem to be able to do. Every SpED teacher I know says it’s because they take their planning time in hallway transitions, catching a quick chat — and honestly, that’s fine. The issue arises when it’s 20 minutes into my 47 minute class and I still have no co-teacher. If you have to miss class-time, call the teacher you’re with and let them know there’s going to be a delay — BEFORE the class starts, whenever possible. Just… in general-
Clear communication. Just. Clear communication, with staff and students, is vital.
I’m not really sure what else, SpED specifically. I just… really hope it all goes well for you!! Teaching really is not that scary, even if it is hard. You’ve got this! Let me know if you have anymore questions, I am thrilled to answer.
(And thanks for the compliment :) )

Disney PJO is mellow
post with spoilers, duh. srly I doubt I'm thinking anything new, but I need these thoughts out of my head!
i recently watched Season 1 out of curiosity (i know, so late) and wow! first impression is how they mellowed out almost everything. I'm re-reading book 1 to double check my impressions and coulnd't get past chapter 3 without writing this post, because the changes in tone are so drastic!
HUGE POST BELOW kinda rant-y
First things first: I adore they decided to cast age aproprite actors, make the insanity they go thorugh obviously insane! (im englishing well)
That said: Percy in the books is an angry lil shit! Boy was ready to throw down with anyone and everyone. Series!Percy barely has a funcionting personality. Not dishing on the actor! When the character is supposed to be angry and angst-y, I can see him doing his best <3 My critique is with the writing. It seems they decided to make Percy more approable and relatable as a "good kid" as opposed to a traumatized ADHD student with consistent behavioural issues. It happened in the movies too. Movie!Percy got to be snappy because the actors and audience were older, but not nearly the level of rage and disrespect a 16 year old could have.
Given how mild series!Percy home life is vs book!Percy I don't mind as much as the the series develops because it looks like character development after repeated murder attempts.
Which brings me to point 2 - the reason I can't get past chapter 3: SALLY FUCKING JACKSON! She's a saltless cracker, overgrown teenager still wheeping over her summer romance with "the guy"! I knew the fandom had glorified her, I've seen some posts "hey, did you actually read the book?" And I hadn't since middle school, so my memory was clouded, but fucks sake! I was drinking the emo Kool-Aid to forget that mess of a plot hole. Thank fuck they rebranded series!Sally. She actually has a personality and seems like to know what is what and try to prepare Percy as a demigod who will outgrow her protection.
The diner flashback scene in which she talks to Poseidon helps her "I knew all along" know it all attitude, which doesn't work in the books because as far as she explains it: she and Poseison did the do, she got pregant and they never saw each other again. No reason to be greek mythology geek, definitly not enough to know about camp and the lastest breaking news in the mythic world.
(Poseidon's involvement creates some morality questions for me, some "how are we going to handle some topics later on" issues when episode 3 comes up, but more on that later)
I blinked and missed the reveal that she married Gabe to protect Percy, and the cascading logic of how her different personalities affected that marriage is mindblowing.
It affects the type of Gabe she married, therefore, how much of his abuse was Sally's fault. Series!Sally has agency and talks back, the kind of woman I can see attracting a god. More importantly, if she's making the decision to deliberately put her beloved son in contact with a nasty person whose smell will deter monsters, she won't put up with a monster herself, rather a loser who might as well be stanky trash sitting in the corner for too long. B
ook!Sally just doesn't sell that kind of confidence and since the books are first person POV we have to postulate that over the years Sally fell victim to Gabe's abuse (resulting in her lack of outstanding personality) and justified staying in the relatioship as "protecting Percy", which makes her complicit. Which is not great mom. And I do remember later in the books its resolved off screen and she "marries a nice guy, florishes as a person and has his baby". Errrr.... It's fiction, and I don't care for the mother character abused for the sake of her child to be saved by another marriage and have another child.
3: don't have much to say about Groover, I love him every time. <3 Book!Grover whines more and is a bit of a coward, while series!Groover is more like the sweet resilient pacificist that chooses non-violance. (and a twelve year actor saying "I'm 24" to Ares was hilarious!)
4: WILL ANY INSTALMENT WILL EVER SOLVE THE MYSTERY OF CHIRON AT PERCY'S PRIVATE SCHOOL?
He is the one functioning "trust worthy" adult in the entire camp and he leaves for months at a time to teach at private schools? Leaving behind, I don't know, teenagers and a drunk god to look after the smaller ADHD kids with powers all year round? Does no one see a problem with this? *side eye*
As a plot device it only serves to give Percy A SUPER POWERFUL SWORD WITHOUT HIM EVER HAVING BEING TRAINED FOR IT, and to have Percy trust him before arriving at the crazy camp that regularly send children to their deaths.
(AND THEN THAT PONY HAS THE AUDACITY TO PIKACHU FACE WHEN PERCY IS REAVALED POSEIDON'S KID WHEN ITS IMPLIED THE ONLY REASON HE WAS AT THAT SCHOOL, AWAY FROM HIS OTHER HUNDRED UNDER AGE CHARGES, WAS TO PROTECT PERCY THE BIG THREE KID NO ONE KNEW WAS A BIG THREE KID)
*inhale**exhale* I'm cool I'm cool
I will probably have more thoughts as I reread the book. I think I will write my impressions of series!Annabeth before she turns up in the next chapter so I have a more controled before and after impressions.
so far, overall, I was bored up until episode 3 with Medusa, and boy! that's when you can tell Uncle Rick is involved in the production process. After the first book series being critized for lacking diversity, he did his homework on many polarizing subjects which I appreciate being talked about in middle grade books/ series. And I think that will bite him in the ass when it polarizes the fandom in coming seasons and Disney cuts him out.
See ya!

MOD'S CHOICE POLL
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mod's own propaganda under the cut:
Sasha as Red Riding Hood:
During submissions, I became so absolutely excited when I saw this pop up. I don't know who decided to submit it, but they unlocked some childhood memories for me. Back when I was a child, my family visited Pakistan (my parent's country of origin) for the entire summer. One day I, bored, asked for some movies to watched and my parents and uncle brought back some clearly bootlegged DVDs dubbed in Hindi/Urdu, and Bratz Kids Fairy Tales was one of them. I watched it so many times, you have no idea- I think that I might have wrecked the whole DVD with how much I watched it. (A similar thing happened later on when I obtained a clearly bootlegged copy of Bratz Fashion Pixie too but that's another, non-Red Riding Hood related story.) I wasn't surprised that it was eliminated right off the bat, but my childhood nostalgia dictated I put it here, or else I would be betraying the 7-year-old in me.
Shang, Tao, and Paotze:
Another childhood favorite of mine. This picture book has such beautiful art and I remember being very surprised by the story as a child. I found a PDF of it online to reread when the contest started and honestly it still holds up. The three sisters that are the Red Riding Hood in the story I feel are genuinely very clever. And for nothing else, look this one up solely for it's beautiful art which is just breath-taking whether you're a child or an adult!
Lamb:
Not going to lie I never played this game. My good friend who I adore submitted this to the poll and it immediately got eliminated and I just felt bad lol. But it does look cool & I trust their taste so I do think that this game is great. I want to play it but I am really bad at getting myself to play games.
Aku:
Samurai Jack is a CLASSIC and I dare you to not watch this clip and crack up. Mako was a gift of voice acting and I miss him so much. Also this episode is just pretty amusing.
Amy Lee:
My sister was actually the one to submit this and I will use her own propaganda here: "Evanescence was a voice of a generation." Honestly this song is kind of just okay, there are better Evanescence songs, but got to respect the effort they put into the music video. Who can resist to choose Amy Lee anyway?
The Path sisters:
Like many people who know this game, I know it through Izzzyzzz's two video essays on it. I didn't play the game afterwards, but I did watch some play-throughs since I don't play many games + it seemed mostly like a walking simulator anyway so I felt like I got the same effect. It is AMAZING and has so much story and analysis and I love shit like that... In particular, Scarlet, Ruby, and Rose are my favorites whose stories really resonated with me, even if I haven't exactly gone through their life experiences. Ginger too. And there's some really horrific imagery in Robin's...I would recommend everyone find a way to experience this game-- whether that's playing it, watching Izzzyzzz's videos, or finding a walk-through/analysis of it, it's worth it!
Lisette:
So this manga is sort of obscure but it is also sort of nostalgic to me. Well, nostalgic by proxy. My sister read it when I was younger and told me some details about it and for some reason it stuck with me. Like??? For no reason. It's not even that good lmao. The first chapter right off the bat is pretty edgy & handles sensitive topics very badly. But goddamn if I do not think about random elements of the story for no reason. I don't really remember shit about Lisette but hey this picture of her looks really cool.
Red:
If you notice a theme among these being "nostalgia" you would be right, as this was another nostalgic offering from my childhood that I would watch semi-annually. I was also fond of the sequel, though I thought it felt like a different series than the first one. (Which isn't unusual with animated sequels to popular movies, but the fact that the sequel was set-up by the ending of the first one implies it was planned? Weird). But anyway Red is iconic and funny and voiced by Anne Hathaway and also her sad emo song "Red is Blue" sometimes still gets stuck in my head, so take that as you will.
Chacha:
I know absolutely nothing about this series. But it looks very cute so I like it. I love cute magical girls they deserve the world. Also I looked it up and apparently the Studio who did the Akazukin Chacha anime would later do the Yu-Gi-Oh animes from the 2000s and 2010s, so there's the obligatory mention of nostalgia.
