As a german with grandparents who lived during WW2 i can confirm, this is what happened. And it's precisely what's happening again, it started by giving the public an enemy, someone to fear because the economy is messed up and living isn't easy.

Now, a man of Trump's age should be educated on why WW2 happened and why it left no winners despite germany and its allies surrendering to the US, UK, France and the UDSSR. The issue is, I believe he knows. And he knows that wars are good for the economy. They have the consequences of a redestribution of land because some who fell in the war leave property without an owner or a will. It means that resources used for the public can now be spent otherwise, like making old men with lots of money richer. It means a baby boom because sad people make bad decisions like sleeping around. And it means that the tangerine man with his tiny Richard can get emergency powers to stay in power longer.

The biggest issue? I can see the same happening in Germany too. Like we didn't learn from our mistakes. And I see men in power directing it all. A while ago Elon Musk, you know, the Nazi, met with Alice Weidel, a german politician and probably most hypocritical person i am aware of (she lives in Switzerland, has a wife from I believe Srilanka who wears a hijab, has adopted children, yet claims not to be queer and supports a party against immigrants, queer people, rainbow families, and muslims). Ever since I got notifications on Twitter about what Alice Weidel thinks. I had to block and report her to stop the notifications. I have no interests that she posts about. No, this is manufactured, herding more people into the arms of the extreme right wing.

And you want to know the worst part? The worst part is that the greater population will do nothing to stop this. Even if they don't actively support this change in society, until they are proclaimed the enemy they will stand aside and watch, because until it is them they won't care. And when it is them, there won't be anyone left willing to stand up for them.

Is there any hope left? When it is obvious war is coming given how countries scramble to isolate themselves until they become dependent on resources from others and willing to fight for those? When red buttons, launch codes, are so easily accessible and ready to cause the extinction of life on earth at a moment's notice? We are lucky that we won't have to fear a-weapons immediately, although b and c weapons are definitely going to be used (ABC weapons are Atomic, Biological, Chemical). It will be a war for resources, no need to taint those with radiation. We are lucky, because those who would have to use those weapons are in our generation, millenials and gen-z, people who grew up in a time where a connection to everywhere at once became the norm. People reluctant to fight and kill innocents.

So we can pray. And we can educate ourselves and each other. And we can stand up to protect each other. Because if enough people oppose the ruling class this will not become WW3, the war of resources, it will become a revolution, be it inspired by the french or the americans. Because one thing Germany did very well in the last century. We broke down the wall dividing east and west, parting friends and families. So let the german 80s and 90s inspire you, not the 30s and 40s. Unite.

“I thought we were cooking this together” Tommy laughs as Evan kisses the back of his neck and runs his hands down his sides. 

“We’re together. You’re cooking. It counts.” Evan replies placing more open mouthed kisses to Tommy’s neck, his hands firmly gripping Tommy’s hips and pulling their bodies together.

“I thought you wanted to learn so you could impress Bobby on your next shift.” Tommy smiles at the contact, he’s not really complaining at the attention he is receiving. He loves being close to Evan no matter what they are doing.

“Hmm, you put the ingredients in. You stir. I got it” Evan murmurs distracted by the skin under Tommy’s shirt. That little bit of extra padding on Tommy’s stomach is exciting to Evan. While they were apart Tommy had lost too much weight and stopped taking care of himself. Once they got back together Evan made it his job to cook and bake for Tommy so he would regain what he lost. He doesn’t even miss the definition of his abs like he thought he might. Tommy has always been attractive to him and he had spent many hours kissing and licking those abs but he much prefers Tommy like this. His mother was a more of an ‘add until you think it looks right’ type of cook. He has always been more precise, more controlled just like with his flying. With his life really. He is learning to be more flexible especially now that Evan has given him another chance.

“So if I teach it to our children would I get to put my own spin on it or do I have to teach them your way?” Evan asks resting his chin on Tommy’s shoulder to watch him work. He feels the moment his words register with Tommy, both their bodies tense up. Likely for different reasons, Evan didn’t mean to say that out loud so he is bracing for Tommy to reject him. He breathes deeply when he feels Tommy relax. 

“You, you think about us having children?” Tommy asks trying to look back at Evan, his arms had clenched tight around him. He can feel the worry emanating from Evan.

“I, uh, well. I know. It’s uh” Evan struggles to find the words, burying his head into Tommy’s back to hide the emotions written all over his face. 

 “I think we would have to try your version before I let you teach our children.” Tommy says rubbing a hand over Evan’s arm. Trying to comfort and reassure Evan he isn’t running away from this.

 “Yeah?” Evan asks hope filling his voice. “You, you want kids? With me?” He replaces his chin back on Tommy’s shoulder to watch him prepare their meal.

 “It’s definitely something I’ve thought about. It may be a little early to think seriously about that for us but I would be lying if I said it didn’t make me happy knowing you are thinking about it too.” Tommy answers as honestly as he can. He has a lot of concerns about being a dad especially given his shitty relationship with his own father. It’s something he hasn’t closed the door on now that Evan is back in his life.

 “I know it’s early I didn’t mean to bring it up, I’m not even certain if I want that. My parents weren’t the best role models so I don’t know if I want to pass on that generational trauma. But I’ve never really thought about even the possibility of having my own family before you. Maybe we can just be the fun uncles for Maddie and Chim’s kids. You can be their favourite Guncle, I’ll be their favourite Buncle.” Evan laughs at the thought.

 “What are you even talking about? What is a Guncle? Or a Buncle?” Tommy asks confused. His mind completely off his task of cooking, sometimes he feels every single one of his 40 years.

 “Gay uncle and Bi uncle” Evan grins ridiculously as Tommy shakes his head.

 “You are such a dork. Now pay attention so you can teach our children or our niblings how to make this.” Tommy chides pulling Evan’s arms around him tighter enjoying the feel of Evan’s lips against his cheek as he peers over to watch.

 Future Tommy and future Evan can worry about children, all he wants to do right now is enjoy the feel of his boyfriend against his back. To share with him some of his history and then maybe reassure Evan that he isn’t running away from the scary topics they both seemingly want to talk about. the two of you talked for a bit before vinnie finally got the courage to ask for your number. once you gave it to him, he had mentioned something about a date.

you thought he was just joking around with you, you had gotten the idea he didn’t really want anything serious anyways.

once vinnie had put his son to bed, however, he was up until late hours of the night texting you. getting to know you, what hobbies you’re interested in, what you do for a living, any question he could ask.

he finally brought up the date again, asking if you were free on the upcoming friday night. you were, and even if you weren’t, you’d find a way to go out.

vinnie couldn’t help but smile ear to ear when you had said you were available. he was ecstatic, practically counting down the days until it was time for the date.

once saturday rolled around, he texted you right after he got jj ready for the day. he asked if you were still up for it, which of course you said yes.

he let you know he’d pick you up around seven, not wanting to be too early, but also not wanting to be too late either.

he nods his head, sipping his drink. this date isn’t to talk about his son, it’s to get to you and for him to get to know you.

the night continues with smiles and laughs, getting to know each other more and more as the night goes on.

vinnie learned you were into drawing and dabbling in some creative writing. while as you learned that when vinnie has down time, he loves to play video games and practice guitar.

you put your drink down before answering. “UCLA, coincidentally for creative writing. but i got a few other electives and classes to branch out on.” you explain.

you hum. “love it,” you smile. “in my last year, just have to figure out a career now.”

vinnie chuckles softly. he takes a sip of his drink again. the two of you continue talking, learning more and more about each other and your lifestyles, along with interests and hobbies.

before the two of you know it, it’s nearing ten pm. vinnie checks his phone and sees a few missed texts from his mom and dad.

“it’s already ten?” you chuckle with a smile. “shit, time does fly when you’re having fun.”

vinnie smiles, feeling relieved at the fact you had fun with him tonight. the two of you pack up your things and he pays the bill before you heard back to his car.

Can Xelqua use his powers to avoid Grian’s Eyes? I’m imagining Xelqua getting mad at Grian or Grian getting mad at him and so Xelqua runs away for a bit and Grian panics because he can’t use his Eyes to find his kid

Oooooh ! Thats a funny idea, tho i always imagine the Eyes as like... spectator mode..? So Grian would have to already sorta know where Xelqua is to find him with the Eyes. Weird eyes just zooming around the map, x-raying, night vision....

Xelqua doesn't exactly know what hes doing with his Watcher powers, a lot of it comes just from his emotions since he's so young. If he's upset enough, maybe he can block Grian's eyes with his own ? Maybe ? He definitely has more than him.

Typically when Xelqua is upset with Grian, he'll tattle to Mumbo, or any close Hermit, its usually quite childish !

Grian has gotten really good at not getting mad at Xelqua--at least not showing it. This was different in the beginning of course, before he adjusted. Back in season 9 he'd often get annoyed with him and overwhelmed then. Which... I think could be a fun turning point in their dynamic.. Grian and Xelqua getting mad at each other, Grians exhausted and just not in the mood to go play outside or whatever, he snaps and uses the Good Ole "Because I said so !" argument towards Xelqua. Xelqua stomps his little feet and goes off to pout while Grian sighs heavily in a chair, he does feel way over his head, he really has a kid now ? He's practically still one himself ! Sorta, it feels like it sometimes.

Xelqua would gather courage while he's pouting, Grian doesn't ever let him go out, its not fair, he's always busy and rarely funny. Xelqua quietly goes out the door as soon as he hears Grian go to the bathroom or something.

Xelqua is not quick, he has tiny legs, he doesn't make much of a distant, but he's small, so he disappears quickly behind or under things.

Grian's panic is amplified by his Watcher instincts, losing sight of something--of a child--its a suffocating feeling, no matter how he felt moments ago. His little house in s9 is surrounded by water, he hates using Watcher magic, but theres no choice here, little purple eyes shoot out in every direction as his mind imagines the worst possible outcomes. Xelqua immediately catches the feeling of Eyes and its scary ! So against his own will, his own Eyes block Grian's. (Which doesn't help Grian's panic at all) Xelqua's instincts will always protect him, he's small, he's 5 years old, but the Watcher part of his brain is still watching out for him. Even though Grian is no threat to him, the Eyes feel scary, so they have to be blocked.

When Grian finally spots Xelqua, he uses his wings to propel himself forward to scoop Xelqua up. Xelqua barely has time to react. Grian lands a few steps ahead, still frazzled and holding Xelqua in his hands, his worry pours out mistakenly as anger. Where have you been ? Don't you know how dangerous it is here ? Grian realizes he's accidentally shouting and bites his tongue. He lets go of Xelqua and hugs him instead, which is probably the first time he's held him so tightly before while on the ground. Xelqua doesn't really know how to react to this, he thought he was in trouble, but ..? A little confusing !

Xelqua had probably JUST found a Hermit too, who was patiently and politely trying to get him to stay still while they contacted Grian. They can tell from Grian's reaction that Xelqua was definitely lying and did not get permission to walk around by himself (what a surprise)

Seeing Grian so stressed out probably pushes a few Hermits to ~gently remind Grian that hey.... you know you can always text us when you need help with him... any time !! any ! time !

Its a turning point for their dynamic, and a learning experience for both

I'm a bit surprised you would ask me for this information because I'm not somebody who fixates on things like this. I do follow some of it, but not to the degree where I'm going to be able to give you a definitive, detailed breakdown. This is not my kind of thing.

In my view, people - especially fans - who are breathlessly comparing and competing LOCH with other films are being unrealistic, and actually doing the film a disservice.

Maybe people just aren't aware of what Ne Zha 2 is and don't realize how big of a competitor it is. It is a sequel to the most popular animated film to ever come out of China. It would be like putting Legend of the Condor Heroes up against Shrek during a holiday when families typically go to the movies together.

LOCH is a genre film, and a bit of a nostalgic throwback to a bygone era of wuxia. As such, there was never any chance that it would be as dominant as some of the other blockbusters. Holding it up against mainstream juggernauts and lamenting that it's not doing as well makes no sense.

In its category it has been doing exceptionally well. It has already broken many records, and last I saw it had already become the second highest grossing wuxia film of all time. It might have already broken that record.

In terms of box office for Spring Festival I think it was at 4th place last I saw, which is really strong considering what it has been up against and the amount of showings it's had compared with other films. And it's only been in theatres for a few days.

I see a lot of people freaking out over the number of screenings it has been getting, claiming it's being intentionally held back. While there is definitely some competition there, it's also important to remember that theatres are businesses, and they will screen what is most in demand. The number of screenings is more a reflection of the genre and audience interests than of any other factor. Conspiracy theories are frankly pointless and frustrating.

The film has already made over half a billion, and will make much more in the coming weeks and months. It is exceptionally well reviewed, and even superfans of the novels are singing its praises.

By every measure, it's doing exceptionally well. I urge fans to focus on the film rather than on bean counting.

To me, this film is most valuable for what it offers GG. The relationships he has made, the skills he has learned, the experience he has had, and the opportunity to get in front of mainstream audiences with an IP they understand well, and be able to prove himself as an actor (which he absolutely has done here)... all of these things are more important than box office returns.

he is constantly ready to throw down with frederick chase. he trusts annabeth when she says they're trying to maintain a relationship, but the second freddie steps out of line, magnus is ready to beat his ass. so is alex. and jack.

when annabeth starts learning how to cook, percy makes magnus try everything first because 'he's already dead, it can't hurt him'. alex is surprisingly down to try annabeth's questionable food. turns out that once you've eaten your depressed talking goat friend, fear around food mostly goes away.

when annabeth hears the otis and marvin story, she silently decides it is going to be a very long time before magnus meets grover

this doesn't have anything to do with annabeth, but the first few times he meets sally, it makes him really upset because she reminds him of his mom

magnus is kinda disturbed the first time he's caught up in a monster attack with annabeth and percy because they went from joking and casual to silently communicating plans and taking the monster down in seconds. he is upset that his cousin had to learn to be this way, but he is also afraid that one day that will be him and alex. alex thinks it's hot.

once annabeth introduces him to her other friends, magnus finds out he is not above guilt tripping his cousin's rich friends into funding the chase space or giving to the homeless. when magnus, alex, and leo join forces, rachel nearly maxes out her credit card.

one time one of the gods stopped annabeth mid conversation with magnus for a really stupid quest and magnus is flabbergasted. he's like, "your gods just do that??" and she's like, "yours don't??"

i think percy and alex would be weirdly good friends. not sure if for good or evil. but definitely friends.

frank and alex not getting each other's brand of shape shifting but still bonding over it. like frank's is almost always a manifestation of anxiety while alex's is a way to take control of her/his life, but does that stop them from seeing who can open the most jars as a gorilla? hell no

Tommy is looking at him.

That’s not the surprising part, of course. Tommy looks at him all the time. And vice-versa, because when you have a hot pilot in a plaid shirt with rolled up sleeves roaming around your loft, you look.

No, the unusual part is the way he is looking at him. 

There’s a quirk to his lips, a raised eyebrow and a little sparkle in his eyes. It’s a good look, it always is, but Buck doesn’t know what he did to earn it.

They have been preparing dinner - lasagna this time-, same as they have done for the past month they’ve been dating. They stand side by side as Buck directs him to prepare the meat, to grab this or that ingredient and it thrills him that they can move so effortlessly around his kitchen.

The music playing in the background is quiet and calming, the loft is warm from the preheated oven and having Tommy’s body accidentally bump into him or having to maneuver close to the older man’s body has definitely brought a comfort to his house that he never thought he’d feel.

They laugh, they talk, they exist and in the end, only one thought remains - Tommy just fits.

But this isn’t new, no matter how much the figurative cat purring up a storm inside his chest tells him that it still feels new. They have done this every chance they get since the moment that Tommy agreed to give him another chance over coffee. So, Buck doesn’t really know what he did to deserve (to be blessed with) such a look.

Buck opens a new packet of cheese and the quirk on Tommy’s lips turns into a full-blown smile.

“What?”

Tommy’s smile turns into a smirk and Buck really needs to focus on the conversation and not on how he knows that smirk feels against his lips.

“That’s the fourth pack of cheese you’ve opened, Evan.” It’s not mocking - Tommy doesn’t mock.

Buck looks down at the counter and notes that there are, in fact, four open packs of cheese close to the oven-safe dish he is setting up. There is also another one yet to open and he appreciates that Tommy doesn’t mention that one.

“Oh,” He taps the cheese grater in his hand to loosen the pieces of cheese inside on top of the lasagna before he grabs the last packet of cheese. “T-That’s how Bobby does it.”

Tommy leans against the counter, turning to face him, arms crossed over his chest and an open amused expression on his face. It’s such a good look.

“Does he also use salted butter instead of unsalted? Or grates nutmeg instead of using the powdered kind I know it’s in your cupboard?” 

“Y-you, uh, you noticed that?” Buck is definitely blushing now, especially with the way Tommy looks at him.

“I did,” Tommy smiles and his eyes take on that intensity and his voice turns a tone lower and it all turns Buck’s insides into a rollercoaster. “I always notice what you do, Evan.”

Buck stumbles. While standing still. He stumbles. 

It’s such a good look. 

“Well, hmm, Bobby is a good cook,” Tommy nods, a soft smile on his face that makes Buck want to just…look at. “He’s taught me a lot.”

“The father you never had, right?”

Buck chuckles, finally finished with the cheese. “Yeah, Bobby taught me a lot,” He explains, sliding the lasagna into the oven and setting the timer for 45 minutes. “He took the time to teach me, you know what I mean?”

Tommy smiles at him while putting the cooking utensils in the sink and nods. Without being asked, the older man starts washing up everything. Buck stands beside him to help with the drying, as they’ve done all those times before.

“I didn’t have Bobby as my Captain for long,” Tommy says. “But I did have the chance to tell him about wanting to get back to flying and he was the one who supported my decision to transfer to Harbor. He created a safe space for all of us.”

“Yeah, Hen and Chim mentioned how different it was under Gerrard before,” Buck doesn’t look away from the towel in his hands. “I saw how he acted during the medal ceremony but I-I never thought he would be…you know?”

A warm hand lands on the side of his face, a thumb running over his brow, his birthmark, a soft kiss on the port-wine stain. Buck breathes, his shoulders relax as the hand on his face runs down his back.

“I miss Bobby.” 

Buck’s voice was quiet, almost child-like and he would probably be embarrassed about it if Tommy didn’t place a firmer kiss on his birthmark, arms wrapping around his shoulders and pulling him into a warm hug. His hands grip onto his shirt at his lower back, burying his head in Tommy’s shoulder. 

“I know he’s still around, I just-”

“Evan,” Tommy interrupts softly, his head resting against Buck’s. “It’s okay to miss him as your Captain, even if he’s probably gonna be around in half an hour for dinner.”

Buck’s chuckle is watery and he tightens his grip on Tommy who returns the embrace. 

“I’m sorry you didn’t have a Bobby for longer,” Buck says quietly. “I’m sorry you had Gerrard.”

“Thank you,” Tommy kisses the side of his head and he feels the smile on his lips. “I’m glad you didn’t have him then and that you have a good support system now.”

Buck looks up, his grip loosening on the man’s shirt but placing them on his back, keeping him close. Tommy gives him a soft smile, understanding and affection flooding his blue eyes - it’s a good look. 

“You have us too, Tommy,” Buck says, one of his hands running up Tommy’s back and down his arm, stopping at the forearm. “You are part of our family.”

Tommy’s eyes widen a fraction, his lips parting in controlled surprise, a faint hitch of his breath betraying his composed exterior. It’s a good look. His mouth opens and Buck can hear the protest start, the deflection forming and that just won’t do.

Buck pulls Tommy into a hard kiss, forcing all his emotions into it. Making Tommy believe that he is worth the effort, that he is a part of them, that he doesn’t have to be jealous. Making Tommy believe he is loved. 

When he pulls back, there is a different look on Tommy's face. Not good, better. The look of a man who might just be starting to believe all that Buck didn’t say, all that Buck channeled into his kiss. The look of a man ready to be a part of it. To be loved.

“Yeah?” Buck asks, a smirk threatening to burst through.

“Hmm, yeah,” Tommy clears his throat and nods, dazed, and Buck’s smirk is let out. “Yeah.”

“Good,” Buck nods, pleased, elated. He pulls away from the embrace but takes Tommy’s hand in his. “Now, help me assemble the tart.”

Tommy laughs, that giggle that always brings a grin to Buck’s face. They stand side by side, as they always do, in front of a bowl with a berry mix and the dough he made from scratch.

“Is this also a Nash recipe?” Tommy teases and Buck bumps into him. 

“Yeah, well, who better to impress a Nash than a Nash, right? Bobby is a great cook,” He repeats with a shy smile, focusing his gaze on making sure every inch of the pan is covered by the dough.

Tommy bumps back into him. “If it helps, I’m always impressed with your cooking.”

Buck’s blush grows and he bites his lip. “This is an important dinner.”

“Oh, I’m aware, it’s basically ‘meet the parents’.” Tommy’s tone might be teasing but Buck detects the anxiety in his expression.

“That’s why I wanted to cook with you,” Buck returns the tone, glad to be distracted from his own anxiety by taking care of Tommy’s. “It’ll put you in their good graces.”

Tommy laughs and Buck mentally pats himself for relaxing the man. He takes a small step back for Tommy to carefully pour the mix in the pan, far enough to not be in the way but close enough to feel the warmth that Tommy irradiates.

“Besides,” Buck continues, kissing Tommy’s cheek when he’s done. “They already know you and love you.”

Tommy’s smile is soft as he watches Buck work on the top layer of the pie, and when he looks up, he notes the brightness in those blue eyes and the crinkles around his eyes. 

“Then I think we’re off to a great start.”

DimiClaude gets married and by some magical means or another, they have a child with both of their DNA and whatnot.

What kind of parents would DimiClaude be like with their child/children? I'm sure Dimitri would want to raise their kid(s) the same wat/similar to how Lambert raised him. Though I'm not necessarily sure if Claude would raise their kid(s) the same way his parents raised him. Like, when Claude says one of his punishments was being dragged around by a horse.

Now! Let's address something first and foremost! Mostly concerning Dimitri if we are talking about canon being applied here -- due to his trauma, there is a high possible chance that many of Dimitri's memories of his father probably would have been warped or even suppressed after what Lambert had become to him after the events of the Tragedy, which is a vengeful ghost ( in comparison to the real Lambert, who probably wouldn't want his son to live a life with vengeance as a means to keep going ) -- so Dimitri would not be able to even recall much of what kind of father Lambert was at some point during his own experience with parenthood.

Dimitri had lost his only good example of what a parent should be ( I would argue Rodrigue be counted as well but at the end of the day, he's not Dimitri's father, but I'm sure Dimitri would also draw on him for example all the same.)

Still! With what he could remember, Dimitri knew that he would have to approach parenthood with patience, understanding, and above all; love. Like his own father had to when he had to raise Dimitri alone for those first seven years of Dimitri's life. Even with what little we see of Lambert in canon, you can tell he was a good father -- he loved Dimitri very much and had so much faith in him. He also made sure to emphasize humility in his son, which is why Dimitri himself isn't your typical spoiled prince trope. Dimitri himself is a reflection of his father's love -- he's compassionate and kind and when allowed to, loving, because he had that example from Lambert. Dimitri was loved very much, so it's no surprise he ended up so vengeful and sorrowful because that love was ripped away from him.

In Claude's case -- while he is the only lord to have both parents alive and well -- from what he's said and what we can kinda see -- he's not as close to his parents as Dimitri was to Lambert.

Claude of course, does love his parents and his parents love him, Tiana loved him enough and had faith in him to let Claude go to Fodlan and make his own path in life -- and Claude seemed to be his father's favorite child among his many siblings -- his parents to me kinda felt like that, "tough love" kind of parents, if a bit emotionally neglectful ( given how distant Claude is, trust me, from one Leo to another with an emotionally neglectful parent whom I also love deeply at the same time-- you keep that shit IN )

So I definitely feel like Claude would not want to raise his child the way his parents did but he's going to struggle the most out of the two of them because he didn't learn how to be emotionally available when needed, just like how his parents probably were to him. He keeps a lot of shit in and it takes a lot of trust for Claude to be able to be so open and honest with people -- with a child that's hard to do, because a child learns from example and if he shows them that you have to earn that affection or being disciplined like he was is how a parent should love their child -- the kid is gonna end up presenting him and then they're both just gonna be at odds with each other as the kid grows up.

Which is why Dimitri is a good counterbalance for Claude -- he helps Claude be more emotionally open with their kid and Claude, in turn, helps Dimitri not become too over-bearing and let their child be independent.

Both of them together, learn to show their child love, warmth and understanding -- giving them a childhood that both of them didn't get to have. One who had that childhood innocence ripped from him with tragedy and the other living each day in survival mode. Because above all, their child's happiness is what is important.

I = intimacy (how are they during the moment? romantic aspects) ... although elle takes a no nonsense approach to sex-- as she does with everything--, there are no shortages of romantic aspects to sex. she will always prioritize your pleasure, and her touches are nearly always soft and gentle.

J = jack-off (masturbation headcanon) ... elle doesn't masturbate very often; she prefers to wait until the two of you are together. on the rare occasion when she does masturbate, she always sends you pictures and/or videos just to tease you.

Helloo! I absolutely love your art style and au’s but I have a question. Since Shin was born so different and the amount of pain he went through, was he often prescribed medications and went to the doctors, or did his family make do with what they could afford with such a big family. I’m sorry if you have explained this before, I’m still trying to remember all the characters introduced in your au and lore. But thank you for the amazing art and storytelling you show us!

He actually would be that kid who was constantly going to the doctor. I based it off of myself to be honest.

I wasn’t clinically ill as a child but I always found myself going to the doctors or hospitals. In first grade I was tested for ADHD, and would go to specialist who found out I was a…. Very sad child. When I was in second grade I was hospitalized for pneumonia, then a little after that I got an infection on the back of my thigh that needed stitches. Then in third grade they had me tested for dyslexia and that led to going to the hospital to see reading and learning disability specialist.

I feel like Shin definitely had many different problems that his family tried to help him through, definitely not understanding it as a kid but slowly realizing as he got older.

I also had a lot of experiences with medication. I got ADHD pills prescribed to me back in first grade… and boy was that a rough time. For a while it was just experimenting with different pills or dosages to see what would work on me. Soon enough in highschool I was on 90 milligrams of Concerta… not exactly healthy to be honest. However now as a 22 year old, I’m on 60 mil of Vivance with some anxiety medication to keep me chill.

I know for a fact it was just like that for Shin as well. Honestly I feel like his biggest concern was how people looked at him. He’s genuinely a very normal person and rather talented too! As he’s very good at learning new information on the fly. However that means nothing to most people when he’s constantly bleeding from the neck and struggling to breath properly.

You might’ve gone through this on other post but how can I figure what’s holding me back from shifting? Because I want to shift so bad but I feel like I self sabotage myself like listening to audios when I’m super tired and not when I’m more awake and just ending up sleeping(If that makes sense)🦄🦄🦄

people have shifted with doubts. people have shifted without trying. people have shifted with self confidence & 100% self certainty. some people say “i shifted when i wasn’t trying to & didn’t care about shifting” & “I shifted when i said that i gave up on shifting”. so, there are a lot of ways & different mindsets. many seem to be trial & error. like how there’s different kinds of learning styles & how one may not work for everyone. finding out what works for you isn’t always linear. sometimes you’ll feel like subliminals are your thing & other times you’ll be emotionally attached to reality checking every half hour in hopes of inducing a lucid dream.

& it’s totally okay to listen to audios when tired & feel like you’re not putting in effort. even if you feel that it’s lazy, you’re still taking the time to turn on an audio. a subliminal or guided meditation, i assume ?

while you may not be trying to shift, meditation always helps me. it could help you develop some sort of routine rather then just rolling over & going to bed. if you don’t know how to meditate headspace has some guided meditations that teach you the basics. from a spiritual perspective, you receive so many messages & learn so much from being quiet.

if you’re not in the mood, then you’re not in the mood. I know this might be a little hypocritical since i just said that developing some sort of routine may help you but I think this is important to include. just don’t force it. shifting is supposed to be fun, burn out isn’t.

in simple terms, shadow work is answering questions that allow yourself to explore the parts of you that we have a tendency to burry or suppress. i definitely made a post on shadow work questions somewhere. if i remember to i’ll link it somewhere in this reply. though, there are a lot online that aren’t shifting related that may also benefit you.

everyone comes from different places & experiences. we’re made up of our beliefs — positive or negative. take the time to think on where your (negative) beliefs came from. when i was in inpatient a few summers ago to deal with my anxiety & phobias, this was typically something used to knock fears down a few pegs so they don’t have complete control over us. this primarily works with fears, but determining things as irrational vs irrational helped me a ton.

im sure this has been said before but you can totally just roll over & go to sleep with only the intention to shift if you want. you don’t need some elaborate routine or ritual with candles & and hour long meditation session. shifting — manifesting also— can be even boiled down to “when i go to sleep, i will wake up in my bed” in my opinion.

Dabi and Hawks as fathers. How do you imagine the two of them when you think about the different ages? Baby, child and young adult.

Chaos!

They would be absolute chaotic fathers who would drive their partners, like Rain (my OC) crazy with their behavior. They would do a lot, and I mean a LOT, of stupid things with the child.

Both of them separately would be manageable, but if you had a DabiHawks situation, it would definitely be a jackpot in the chaos lottery. Rain would then literally have two adult children at her side, who would constantly provoke each other and raise the child (in this case Kaji) in the craziest way.

Dabi

Changing diapers, what is that? Dabi grabs the little one by his diaper and holds him at eye level like a packet of chips. "Rain, I think he's leaking. Do we still have the guarantee certificate for the boy?"

Lullabies? No! Instead of sweet lullabies, Dabi plays dark rock ballads from his smartphone or gives baby Kaji dry advice like: "Sleeping is overrated. Get used to it."

Warmth and security? Absolutely YES. Even if Dabi doesn't admit it, he loves lying on the couch while the little one sleeps on his chest. "You're a damn chilblain, no wonder you can only sleep peacefully with me."

Proud father? When Kaji first uses his Quirk (maybe spitting out a mini Frostflame), Dabi would annoy Rain with a grinning, "See? Mine!"

Hawks (foster father)

Play until you drop? Hawks has a lot of energy, so he could play with Kaji for hours without getting tired. But if Kaji screams - then there is a frantic panic reaction: "Rain! I think I broke him!"

Flying lessons at a baby age? As soon as Kaji shows the first signs of wings, Hawks would throw him into the air - just a little bit. Rain panics when she sees this, but Hawks remains completely calm: "Everything is under control! Birds fall out of nests and survive."

What is a cradle? Hawks likes to use his feathers to rock Kaji to sleep. "My feathers are much better than a stupid baby bed, aren't they, my little one?"

Multitasking level: God: With one hand he feeds Kaji while typing messages with the other and changing diapers with his feathers at the same time. Rain watches him in horror: "You can't do EVERYTHING with your feathers, Keigo!" - "Why not? It's efficient!"

DabiHawks

Feathers VS Shopping Bag – Rain comes into the room and sees Kaji either safely wrapped in Hawks' feathers or being held like carry-on luggage by Dabi.

Changing diapers? No thanks. Hawks passes the job on to Dabi, "Hey, flamethrower, you're good with heat, right?", and Dabi counters with, "You do it, bird brain. You have sensitive feathers." Rain ends up doing it himself.

First flying lesson? Double trauma for Rain. Hawks and Dabi argue about how Kaji should learn to fly. Hawks wants to do it gently with feather support, while Dabi just lets him go: "Either he flies or learns how to fall." Rain? She's about to set them both on fire. He's still a damn BABY!

Kaji: Toddler Phase

Dabi

Dabi constantly gives Kaji mean but loving nicknames like Frosty, Bluewing, or Ice Block. The more Kaji gets upset about it, the more fun Dabi has.

Dabi teaches Kaji all sorts of nonsense, like how to steal food or put on a super serious look to unsettle people.

Dabi secretly likes to praise Kaji, but he rarely does so openly. Instead, he gives high-fives and pats on the back.

Has silly competitions with Kaji, like who can eat faster or who can stare at Rain longer without blinking, which always makes her freak out.

Hawks (foster father)

Hawks playfully teaches Kaji to control his powers by playing "catching with feathers" or having small dogfights. “If you hit me with your ice flame, you’ll get an extra dessert!”

Cool upbringing, but with control. Hawks gives Kaji a lot of freedom, but in reality he keeps a discreet eye on everything. If Kaji runs too far away, a feather comes out of nowhere and picks him up to bring him back like a drone. "Did you want to run away? No, little one, not today."

Flying duels in the living room. As soon as Kaji can use his wings, there's no stopping him. Hawks would fly with him through the apartment, knocking over furniture, while Rain yells in the background: "Keigo, this is NOT a race track!"

Super laid back dad. Hawks would never get too worked up about small problems. When Kaji falls, instead of drama there is a "Phew, crazy flight! But next time you'll land better."

DabiHawks

Double chaos, zero control. Dabi is the father who teaches Kaji how to get up to mischief while Hawks teaches him how not to get caught. Rain realizes far too late that her son is being raised by two of the biggest tricksters she knows.

Food problems. Hawks wants Kaji to eat healthy. Dabi? Just give him what he eats. Hawks: “Eat your vegetables, Kaji.” Dabi: “Here, eat a bag of chips. Vegetables are overrated.” Rain comes in: “WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?”

Training - serious VS play. Hawks does exercises that are actually just games, while Dabi tests Kaji in real combat situations. Hawks: "Dodge my feathers, Kaji!" Dabi: "Catch that fireball. Oh yeah, it hurts."

Resistance to Rain: If Rain makes a serious parenting decision, Hawks and Dabi disappear out the door with Kaji. “Ehh, we have to go out for a moment, no, little one?”

Kaji: Teenager Phase

Dabi

The rebel gene comes through - Kaji has Dabi's stubbornness and Rain's strategic cleverness - a bad combination for a teenager. While Rain can't stop preaching, Dabi celebrates when Kaji causes trouble.

Dabi never gives good advice directly, but instead packages it in mockery: "Oh, you're tired? Yes, life is hard when you cry so much."

If Kaji gets into serious trouble, Dabi is the first to arrive. Anyone who gets too close to Kaji will receive a very unhealthy burst of flames.

Is incredibly proud, but rarely shows it openly. Instead, he says things like: "Not bad, kid. Maybe you are my son after all."

Hawks (foster father)

Hawks would tease Kaji, but always with a hint of wisdom. "Oh, you want to be a tough guy? Cool. But tough guys also think before they rush into stupid situations."

If Kaji wants to keep secrets from him, forget it. Hawks knows everything. "Oh, you were out with someone? Don't worry, I know your friends' entire family history.

​​When Kaji is really down, Hawks gets serious. No sarcasm, no games. Just an honest "Hey, I know how it feels to think you're on your own. But you're not."

Hawks would never openly admit that he is worried, but he is constantly near Kaji without him noticing. And if someone threatens Kaji – Hawks is there in a flash.

DabiHawks

Dabi as bad influence, Hawks as damage control – Dabi: "Okay, so if you want to intimidate someone, all you have to do is look threatening and speak slowly." Hawks: "Or you can just use charm and get what you want without people being afraid of you." Kaji? Uses both – and Rain just wants to get away.

Training is a declaration of war - Hawks relies on speed, Dabi on raw power, so Kaji is constantly caught in the crossfire of both. Dabi: "Attack me with full force." Hawks: "Just kick him between the legs."Rain: “I SWEAR YOU TWO WILL BREAK HIM!”

School problems? Nope.Thanks to Hawks, Kaji always knows how to talk his way out of trouble. Thanks to Dabi, he is not afraid to talk his way out of trouble if necessary. Teacher: "Kaji, have you done your homework?" Kaji (grins): "Did you like doing homework when you were a student?" Hawks in the background: "Oh, I'm so proud." Dabi: "He wasn't aggressive enough, but it's OK."
