they've been potentially changing a lot with the shadow manga, but since maria's final words to shadow were how she loves him and amy's conversation with shadow in the joypolis collab was about how he is loved, i like to think sonic team is still hinting at amy's ability to touch his heart lol

why is it so rare to enjoy vanilla rainworld, downpour, and the watcher???? why does nobody else seem to genuinely love all three

Does anyone have any tips to help stop yourself from comparing your artwork to others, or equating your value as an artist with likes and reblogs?
I've struggled with this for a while and it's getting old, I don't know how to just shrug it off. Any genuine advice would be nice
#its just bygging me bc i know rationally they dont matter i knoe they dont#but i still feel it in my bones that im not good enough because my work doesnt circulate on platforms#i paint for fun and then i post and i get these feelings and theyre so goddamn annoying#i know to just keep posting anyway and try to enjoy the ride but my Depression Brain is such an asshole#i wish it would be quiet#i never used to feel this way either until likes and reposts/reblogs became so integral to social media#on top of needing commissions to get by while looking for work and attending school soon#idk maybe this is just a vent and ik no one can Fix it that simply#i guess im just speaking 2 the void rn and maybe others feel the same#*bugging#and i really am so grateful just to know anyone likes it or comments on it and reading feedback really really means so much#but i feel like unless im pumping out specific fandom stuff that doesnt really happen#but the negative thoughts and feelings can b rly strong sometimes and im just tired#im sure this is a depression thing too#hoping i can get into therapy thru school but it depends on finances as everything else in this world does 🫠#ill keep going tho#and please if you are someone who does comment or reblog and say something about the work please do not ever stop#it means so much to me and others im positive it does#i see you and i appreciate you so so much#thank you and thank you to anyone who reads or comments some ideas

Never having to say goodbye.#I just…heart shackle my beloved they could never make me hate you#It really shows how much Ace truly loves his friends and how he doesn’t WANT to part with them; say goodbye and sever his ties with them#Its actually rlly similar to Malleus’s whole OB thing; both of them fear the imminent parting of their loved ones#I think it’s really noteworthy that Ace’s happiness gets predicated on Yuu’s happiness FIRST#I think in reality deep down he FOESNT want Yuu to go back home; because it’s likely that their way back home is a one way trip.#It’s not like graduating and going back home. In this case Yuu is gone. Period. They existed in TWST in one moment and the next they cease#However he also knows that them staying in TWST would only be painful; they had a life before NRC and to make them say goodbye to that fore#Is something he also doesn’t want to do; the fact that one of the core false memories the dream is built upon is YUU’S HAPPY EXPRESSION at#Crowley finding a way for them back home is…*chef’s kiss* so ofc the ideal solution for him is to let them travel between world’s; that way#The both of them can be happy; Yuu can go back home but still be with Ace and their friends. Dude I’m just so fucking touched—Ace has#Infamously bad emotional communication yet he cares and loves sm. Yes he’s an ass yes he’s a jerk yes he’s a selfish teen boy; but he’s *ou#Asshole. Who will have our back as we do his; who will be happy with as he is with Heartshackle. When you get down to it Ace is sentimental#Whereas Malleus’ solution has involved him selfishly restraining the ppl he loves in an effort not to lose them; and ending up alone i#Ace’s UM defo coming in Book 7 (or 8; him getting his UM during a confrontation with Malleus would be very fitting)#It’s almost poetic how traitor ace theory is simultaneously torn away but also…not with his dream.#The fact remains that he cares for Yuu and doesn’t want them to go; those feelings which are core to the theory ARE there. But at the same#Time he’s not selfish enough to do that to Yuu…sure there IS the question of how he would treat the situation in reality rather than the#Ideal dream but I think that by the end of book 7 any lingering feelings he might have of keeping Yuu in twst; even to their detriment will#Fall in the face of malleus who is emblematic of such desires. Book 7 will end in Ace wholeheartedly working with us to find Yuu a way back#Home. Because if that’s what will bring them happiness; even if it’s a happiness Ace will not have been a part of for long or much longer#Then he will do it. Even if parting is painful having the people he loves be in pain for the rest of their lives (ie Yuu being trapped) is#Far far FAR more painful then parting ever could be. Because for as much as Ace bullies and pursues being a cool kid#He will never be able to stop caring and loving his dear friend#(Also couldn’t fit this in but the fact that he was able to be so rational while delululu when resisting waking up is SO on point

not a chuck hater but honestly I do think there should have been a longer arc acknowledging she can guilt trip other people and be quite selfish

I just want a life where my mom isn't so much of an asshole that on like a bi-monthly basis my eyes hurt by the end of the day from crying so hard cause she's such a fuckin giant dick
#like. I cannot stress enough. no one else in the family wants to deal with her NOT because of her disabilities#but because of how much of an ASSHOLE she is#and like. I can accept that some things are harder with her cause her mental faculties are like. idk#not great#so *sometimes* she maybe doesn't understand something or whatever#that's never been a problem for me. like she doesn't really ever remember how to use her ATM card. whatever. I help her!#it's INFURIATING tho to try to have any conversation with her when she's permanently on the fox news IV drip#like. it's insane. she's SO combative abt a lot of stuff it's to the point where I KNOW#if she went to a therapist they'd have her on new meds like *that*#it also doesn't help that numerous times drs have told her like you definitely have other diagnoses#things I wont list here because it's not my medical history but let's just say YES HOLY SHIT SHE HAS THOSE#but she literally doesn't want to be ~crazy~ so she got a new doc and got them to REMOVE THE DIAGNOSIS#said it was in error she doesn't have those#she 100000% does. and if she were on meds for them and in INTENSIVE therapy#with someone who was REALLY qualified to treat THOSE issues she might do better#I'm just SO tired bro. I'm 36 years old#and I continuously have to drop whatever I'm doing to handle every little thing for her#my internet went out I know its 8:30pm but it's out! I can't log into my hulu!#like. it's so much. and I make like. seriously not enough money. and I don't get enough hours#and this has been my WHOLE LIFE. when I was in high school I wasn't even paid for it! also when it comes to millie and sam what u simply must understand is that sam is pro-millie having a choice in things, sam is happy to be on millie’s side and listen to her contributions and pull her into the conversation. because he does really, truly believe that millie should get a choice in whatever they’re doing, or whatever she’s doing.
just. you know. up to the point where she’s doing something Bad/Wrong/Dangerous. and then he needs to find a way to Save Her From Hurting Herself. millie gets to choose what happens right until sam stops seeing her and starts seeing himself, and then she’s not allowed to make mistakes. like he did. for her own good.

it genuinely makes me so sad that more people didnt watch three body. it was masterfully done beautifully paced and with so many compelling dynamics relationships and character journeys and with a whole dump of realistic scifi that was explained extremely well And a healthy dose of pure existential horror that i still havent managed to shake months and months and months after watching it. please watch three body. it is so good.
