The best years of my life...
... what I wouldn't give to have them back.
I had the great pleasure of working with @spiderscribe on a DeadCeptor work for the @tf-bigbang, which you can (and should!) read [ HERE ]!
Details and artist commentary under the cut!
Okay, first off, I just wanna say, thank you so much to @spiderscribe for picking up my very loose scribble and taking the jump. She's an absolute champ, and I IMPLORE you to read her writing. She did a knockout job on the fic, and guaranteed, these two pieces wouldn't have been so elaborate without her. If you're a fan of deadceptor, parallels, lovers to enemies to apocalyptic teammates to ???s, I'm sure you'll find that and more in there.
[ HERE ] is the link to that, if you missed it the first time around.
The background for the supermarket was a MASSIVE undertaking. I ended up blurring it in the final to keep the dream-like quality, but there is a lot happening there! Most of the time I spent on the background was (jokingly) complaining though.
Anyone who works retail will know the agony of customer-misplaced stock. The little canisters of energon additives seem like prime candidates to be placed willy-nilly.
The little warning sign... My favorite soda, apple sidra, has a carcinogen warning, so I'm familiar with it. It was slightly surprising to me that those warnings are not countrywide, despite the fact that they very clearly say "California Proposition 65", and well. Not something else, like "Federal" or whatever.
The bags of nuts and bolts below, I asked several people what flavor they would be, and I suppose I failed in my job, because I wanted the purple to be the "regular" flavor, and the green to be the "sour". But grape and lemon-lime work as well!
The tub is full of rust-sticks. I have no idea if that came across. My friends kept calling the individually wrapped ones slim jims, which I mean, I guess!
The car batteries... My idea was that they were similar to shots, in a way? So that's how I ended up with a battery with enough terminals to rival an international airport. It's also sunset-coloured, because, I don't know, that's what Party Flavor is to me.
Okay. The second illustration. This one was a headache, mostly due to my own lack of planning, and the fact that I lost the file for... basically everything I did, including the above illustration. So it was a bit of a rush job.
The background bots started off as these very vague silhouettes, which I'm a little proud of. Look at how nice and somewhat readable they are! Okay, now what if I ruined it? What? You don't like that? That's rather unfortunate, because that's what I proceeded to do. In fact, if I take off all.. 10 or something adjustment layers, they look like this:
My process went: Shadow block> Fill rest of form> Color randomiser> Copy and skew (to populate background)> Hue adjustment> Gradient map> Fill Light> Chromatic aberration> Vignette> Levels> Curves.
The.... Magenta cube is there because due to the nature of the color randomiser, the foot had a high value, and stuck out like nobody's business in the end.
Here's what it would look like without the cube. Begone, distracting white blob! (I didn't have to worry about the lava arm because Percy happened to cover it up. What a save! But if he didn't then... there would have been a second cube.)
Basically, it was a mess. But... at least it came out fine in the end! I hope!
I'd love to have speedpaints on hand, but I was switching between CSP and PS for a good majority of the work.
I'd say that's it for these two pieces! I actually have more, but those demand more time. I'm much slower at doing inks than I am at painting, but I hope you'll get to see them soon.
#phew! been a while since I last did some commentary for a piece#I didn't even go over what everything was on the background shelves but just know if you asked me i'd probably be able to tell you#I have... an additional several pages of a comic based off of the fic that I unfortunately have not finished in time#but I definitely will#again it was amazing working with caroline and I hope to work with her again in future!#maccadam#transformers#tf perceptor#tf dead end#transformers cyberverse#tfc#deadceptor#perceptor#dead end

so, satam!snilvester: you said that robotnik wants sally roboticized, but for what purpose? assuming robotnik's head isn't too far up his ass, he has to be at least vaguely aware of her academic capabilities. wouldn't roboticization get rid of whatever potential such a variable might have? i mean, i guess he could just do a nicole 2.0 and store her consciousness in a separate device, but that still leaves the question of why he wants her roboticized. given how sadistic the guy seems to be, it wouldn't surprise me, but is it just for the novelty of it??
You're vastly underestimating how highly he thinks of himself. You think he finds value in her consciousness? Please. She's not human, her mind has no value to him. He barely acknowledges other humans. I don't mean me, of course, he thinks nothing of me. I'm referring to how he treated others before we left the colony.
Although, actually, you may not know this but your consciousness is locked inside of robotcized brains. I try not to think of this, but it must be a frightening living hell being trapped inside of those metallic bodies. I'd know, and three guesses as to how I found that out... but I wouldn't know what it's like to experience that for years. For over a decade. All of them must be quite mad by now.
So, were she to be roboticized she would be preserved as you've suggested. Perhaps. At least until her consciousness burns out from lack of stimulation or her body is scrapped for parts or destroyed.
SatAM Snively, I am curious... have YOU designed any of the robots used in Robotropolis or your uncle's empire?
A few, yes. Why? Nothing too important. A lot of factory 'bots, the hovering spy cameras, one time I created a robot that was almost as fast as the hedgehog. I'd like to improve that one some day, but I was told to leave it.
(SatAM Snively) So, what was your life like before Mobius and Robotnik and so forth?
Oh, my childhood. Not great. Earth before we left was marred by wars. Polluted beyond recognition. A shambles, basically. Hence why we left. I'm not sure what happened to it after we left but something pretty major had to have occurred to have wiped out humanity. We're survivors, usually...
And my father was always very, um, stern and unpleasant. Even before he went insane. I don't really want to talk about it.
murdercide626 asked: [SatAM] Would you say you're the romantic type, Snively? Have you ever been in love?
No. And no.
Besides, there's no other humans on this planet. Well, sometimes we find... weird exceptions. I think that Lazaar fellow was human? Or at least descended from humans. And I have a theory that Naugus is also related to humans. There's probably more of his kind somewhere. Whatever the hell he is. But neither of them are, uhhgghgh, in any way enticing.
Anonymous asked: for satam snivs i know this doesn't help anything but really hope things get better for you dude, you don't deserve all the stuff you go through :(
Thank you, I agree.
murdercide626 asked: [SatAM] I've always been curious, is Snively your real name?
It's my surname, yes. I'd tell you my given name but we're not really on a first name basis.
#for the love of god don't send me lazaar questions#I can't deal with that guy#that episode made NO SENSE#snively

Chapter Six
"Should I call him Chan or Mr. Bang??"
"Ohh...ummm maybe Chan? Mr. Bang will sound like he's old when he's not."
"Okay, true, well let's do this."
"I'll be in your living room if you need me." She walked out, closing the door behind her while you stared at your phone that was sitting on the desk staring back at you. Your leg was jumping, nervous to send a video message. Why am I so nervous?? HE'S looking for me. I can do this!
You quickly picked up your phone and started your video message, "Hi Mr. Bang," Fuck me...I wasn't suppose to say Mr. Bang, you thought as you ended the video. Okay, let's try again! "Hi Chan, it's great to hear from you!"
You ended the video again, doing this a dozen more times until you told yourself that you can do it. Okay breath...you let out a deep sigh before opening your eyes and starting the video for the millionth time.
"Hi Bang Chan, I'm Y/n, the girl from the concert you danced, talked with. Thank you for finding my missing end piece! I thought I lost it forever! (you held up your lightstick to show the end was missing.) Also, I heard you were kind of looking for me... I'm here and would love to talk to you again whenever you're free. I'll talk to you soon, okay bye!" You waved goodbye with the smile that stayed present the whole time your recorded the video. You threw your phone on your bed, couldn't believe you sent it.
Running out of your room, you kept repeating, holy shit as you circled Gabby sitting on the couch, like a shark circling it's prey.
"I'm guessing you did it??"
"Yes!!" You threw you trembling body on the couch next to her, while your heart was pounding violently against your chest as there were ringing in your ears. "I can't believe I fucking did it!!" You squealed while covering eyes with your hands.
"Believe it! And soon he'll open it and be so ecstatic you reached out."
"I don't know about ecstatic..." You tried to down play it, to not get your hopes up.
"You haven't watched the live...have you?"
"No the second I woke up I talked to you and only watched clips on it from Twitter and Insta."
"Let's put it on! You'll see the love in his eyes."
...
Chan woke up to his inbox flooded by fans, celebrities, bots you name it. He didn't know what to do, he didn't know which message to open up first.
He scrolled down and saw the same message over and over, "I'm the girl, it's me!" He couldn't help but scroll aimlessly looking for you, praying you did message.
He heard a knock on his door, calling in whom he assumed was Innie since they live together.
"Any luck?" I.N. asked, taking a seat at the foot of the bed.
"No, I'm basically seeing the same thing. You'd think they would fucking change the profile picture and I swear I mentioned I know her name...maybe I should have said it on live...I was just so nervous."
Innie shook his head while he chuckled, can't believe some people are so naïve. "Well prince charming," he said before speaking in English. "You better stop for now we gotta go to work."
"I know, I know...I'll get ready. But, have you seen anything bad on Twitter?"
"There's been a few," he tried to wave it off but was trying to save his elder from knowing. He saw some wild comments and was hoping Chan wouldn't see them.
"Please tell me Innie."
"You sure you want to know?"
"Please."
He let out a deep sigh before telling him how there have been some crazy comments like, 'how could you do this to us?' or 'you're being very selfish. We want you out of the group.' "But there a lot more people telling them to fuck off or reporting their accounts. So the majority seems to be winning. Also, you've been on the news...everywhere."
"Oh great, but let's get on with today," Chan said, making IN leave his room so he could get dressed. But, he felt distracted the whole time trying his best to find a message from you.
Once him and Innie were ready to go, they headed downstairs, out the doors to the van that had the other members of Stray Kids in it, ready to drive.
"Any luck, mate?" Felix asked with excitement. He was hoping you did because he's never seen him this smitten before.
"No, not at all...I don't think I'm going to find her," he answered back as he adjusted his favorite black hat.
"Maybe she's in there, don't give up." Seungmin rebutted, staying positive for Chan.
They arrived to the JYP building, which Chan dreaded, only because it meant he won't be able to check his phone the whole day. Unless he goes to the bathroom, which he did check from time to time. But he became angry when every time he would delete some messages new ones came popping in.
He came back to the studio, sighing when he sat down. "Everything okay?" Changbin asked while Han looked at Changbin concerned for Chan.
"No...every time I delete messages new ones flood in. I'm gonna need to close my inbox."
"Maybe give it one more day?" Han spoke up.
"I just might...I swear there are millions of messages."
"You might wanna close it now," Changbin suggested. "In case the app shuts your profile down or something." He gave Chanbin a worried look, didn't think the app could do something like that. "I'm sure she's in there already. You have to keep looking."
Before Chan turned his attention back to Felix signing, he went into Instagram to close his DM's. I hope you're in here, he thought as he placed his phone back into his pocket and listened to Felix sing his part in his song with Seungmin and Hyunjin.

Walking side by side with Coni, carrying the groceries to the car from the local Dandy's Affordable Supermarket Kingdom (D.A.S.K.), Sunglo subtly adjusts his pace, allowing her to take the lead. He briefly and respectfully admires the intricate hand physics has in the way her skirt sways as she walks. With a giggle, she turns around to face him with a flirtatious smile.
Coni: So... Cecilia's great and everything... [lightly trails fingertip down Sunglo's chest] but I'd like if you came with me on my grocery runs more often. I miss you. You're always cooped up in that dingy lab working. [Playful pout] Sunglo: The feeling is mutual, darling. I'm fully aware of how immersed in my work I've been, I'm sorry. An engineer's work is never done, I guess. Plus with running the bot-business on the side, it really doesn't give me a lot of time to be the center of any major plot points, does it? [glances at us] Uh- hey, let me get the door for you.
Coni: Sure! [Under her breath] With everything going on lately, that's probably for the best...
Sunglo sets the paper bag of groceries on top of the car and does a dorky little jog to the passenger side to open Coni's door for her. Sunglo: Hang on a tick... I was wondering...Cecilia's been making some advancements to her nanny protocols lately. I reckon she could handle Rorie just fine until bedtime. What if we catch a movie or something tonight? Just you and I? Coni: Are you asking me on a date, Daddy? Sunglo: Why yes, I suppose I am.
Coni smiles excitedly, then her smile begins to fade slightly. Coni: [Sighs] That sounds so nice, but... I've been worried about Erwin. Ever since... his breakup with Robin... I don't feel great about leaving him alone. Sunglo: Oh... well he's not alone! He can hang out with Cecilia. Coni: ...Robot. Sunglo: I guess you're right. Well I suppose if he doesn't feel like too much of a third-wheel, he could tag along with us? Coni: Really? Are you sure?
Sunglo: Yeah, it's fine. It's not like he'll spend the whole night with us.
Coni: True! K. I'll text him. Sunglo: Cool.
Coni pulls out her phone to invite Erwin, when she notices multiple missed calls from Tycho.
Coni: Oh, damn it! We forgot your oat milk, babe. Why don't you get the car started and I'll run in and grab it? Sunglo agrees, Coni gives him a quick kiss and runs into the store, as she begins ringing Tycho.

Some replies~ About drawings, about simps, etc.
eh-nonnie-mouse asked:
I am in the middle of a heatwave where I live and your newest Shroudcest art sent a delightful shiver up my spine. The colors are perfect and work so well to create the atmosphere. Bad Ortho for doing such things in public tho! What if someone saw! (Lol jk I'm sure Ortho wants people see 👀💦)
(this is about this drawing)
I am SO HAPPY to hear that! This summer is so damn hot it’s impossible to function sometimes, and I really wanted to draw it in a way that would make Ortho’s tongue look cold… We had some troubles with this piece (not related to Ortho’s tongue at all, funny enough!), so I am genuinely happy to hear that you like how the colours and the atmosphere look. Thank you <3
Also yes, Ortho wants people to see, he is being a possessive meanie again~
Anonymous asked:
What exactly does Trey want? A tooth?
(this is about this drawing)
Up to your interpretation, Anon~
But I thought that he either wanted Idia to upgrade his mixer or something lol Or get him some rare plants from the side of the internet that Trey doesn’t have access to…. for science, of course.
pro-crass-i-nate asked:
How would you rank the three major idol simps: Idia, Rook, and Sebek?
OOF, THIS IS A HARD ONE TO RANK. It really depends on how we approach this question…
In terms of general simping, I feel like Idia isn’t even a competition to these two.
Rook simps for everyone in a way, so he is kind of fickle compared to Sebek, who is as dedicated as one could be. Sebek is also stubborn and won’t shut the fuck up about his beloved king, he is extremely loyal. But on the other hand, Rook is very adaptable, attentive and therefore dangerous…
I don’t know. Sebek is the embodiment of The True Simp, but he is somewhat blinded by his adoration: he worships, almost deifies, and accepts his idol’s preferences as something that is superior to other things. i.e. the colour black. Rook, however, is scarily attentive and pushes people to be the best versions of themselves, pushes them towards “beauty”, but also at the same time sees beauty in things that others would find insignificant…
Didn’t both of them write poems to their loves ones? I know Rook wrote a lot of poems for Vil but I’m not sure if Sebek wrote anything for Malleus. He should have if he didn’t lol He has a lot to learn.
In terms of being an actual idol simp, i.e. being a fan, having an oshi and buying merch… I think Rook wins. Idia and Rook both spend a lot of money on their faves, but Rook is insane. He definitely owns every single piece of merchandise there is, he definitely goes on every single show, never misses a meet-and-greet, participates in events; he lives and breathes his oshi… I think even Idia wouldn’t mind accepting defeat when he sees how much of an otaku Rook is. Idia is a man of culture and an enjoyer of great music and beauty, but he isn’t as dedicated (and fucked up)…
Does Malleus count as an idol? I feel like if you ask Sebek, he would yell at you for even doubting that, even though he wouldn’t understand what “idol” means in this exact situation. But I also think he would feel inspired if he saw how insane Rook was. Sebek has a lot to learn. Having a portrait in his room isn’t enough, he must have a proper altar + a collection of photobooks!!
Anonymous asked:
Poor Cater... Poor forever alone Cater... At least he's always got "himself"
Ah, this sad saga of Kei-kun… at least Kei-kun and Kei-kun are here to comfort him…
Anonymous asked:
Idia probably posts controversial opinions online just to watch the flame wars erupt.
Yeah he probably does sometimes lol But I also feel like he doesn’t do it as often as he used to because people are very predictable: once you’ve seen them getting heated because of one stupid shit, it’s all the same…
He might rant about it for 20 minutes…
Anonymous asked:
I have mixed feelings on Sebek. He’s so annoying but he’s so oblivious it’s funny but he’s also so damn stupid!! I both want to laugh at him and shake him by the shoulders so I can hear the rattling coming from his head.
Come on, this is the best thing about Sebek. Obnoxious Sebek is the best Sebek <3
Anonymous asked:
There was this artist who had people complaining about the age gap between two of her character who were romantically involved. She threatened that for every complaint she got, she would age up the older character one year and the younger one down by one year. At last count, one of them is now in their nineties and the other one is two.
Honestly? Very based of her.
These people turned her ship into ashes/fetus, this is entirely their fault 😭
Anonymous asked:
I want to fight Yana Toboso. Not because I dislike her or anything but rather because I like her art and want to absorb it via osmosis when I win.
Is this how it works? Damn I’ve been learning how to draw wrong this entire time...

The Final Containment of William Afton [FNAF, Renegade AU]

William Afton is being contained. Permanently.
The truth behind how William was finally contained and kept out of Faz Ent's hands is a story that Fazbear Entertainment frequently dramatises and frequency paints in a fantasy light, but such tales have little effect on either the public opinion, or the individuals involved.
The reality was down to earth and hectic, but Cassie, Cassey, Ness, and Sylvia make a great team.
Cassey and Ness's forced William into the game in order to weaken him, causing him to hide within Princess Quest 4 and get captured by the red king. Cassie and Sylvia solved riddles to find the collectables that the mimic was hiding from them in order to access the arcade and pick up William from the red king in order to take him to Ness in this weakened state. Then, Ness was finally prepared to take on the duty of keeping William Afton contained, acting as a human prison.
And even though Ness and Cassie didn't see eachother in person that day, they knew the other was just as happy as they were to have William contained.
=°•.🌹 Story 🌹.•°=
°°•°°•°°•°°•°°•°°•🌹•°°•°°•°°•°°•°°•°°
Desmond and Cassie had moved all the way across the country to live with Sylvia 'officer Vanessa' Blake in order to escape Fazbear Entertainment.
When a cardboard box that bore Faz Ent insignia arrived in the mail, Desmond felt nauseous; since his daughter's hospital stay after the Ruins incident revealed a chip in the back of her neck, he had known that when Cassie's sleeper side had told him many times that 'they will always find me, no matter where I go' meant that she had known from the start that Faz Ent had some kind of tracker implanted into her before she came into his care, but he never thought they'd actually use it.
As Cassie and Sylvia carefully opened the box, they found a VR headset, a game box, and a note addressed to Desmond.
After seeing the contents, yet before he read the note, he froze in a terrified daze; this was the VR equipment from his old apartment; the exact things that Faz Ent had sent him before: the VR headset, the external casing cracked from him lobbing it across the room, the controllers, hand prints visible where he had held them in a vice grip, and VR training game, that cursed game that had forced him to hand Cassie that mask.
He wanted to run away, he wanted to throw up, he wanted to go somewhere his former employer would never find him. He passed out.
Sylvia had been briefed on his experience with that VR training simulator prior to her discharge from the hospital, as Desmond being used to make the map bot function was a major part of the investigation into what Faz Ent had been doing in the ruins of the megaplex, so she wasn't surprised that he'd pass out at seeing the game again. She had also helped him move out, so she was aware that he had purposefully left all this behind at his old place, aiming for the police to pick it up.
Instead, someone at Faz Ent had sent it to his new home.
After making sure that Desmond was just out cold and nothing more serious, Sylvia and Cassie read the note.
U LN BIR AYEW QGI QUKK EWLS RGUA VYR UR UA VEUWD LBS BIB-CURLK.
RGUA FLNW UA RGW JWT RI GUA WRWEBLK XIBRLUBNWBR.
KWE RGW BWQ OEUBXWAA RLJW RGW XEIQB.
"This looks like a scrambled mess," Sylvia sighed as she looked at the mish-mash of letters on the paper.
Cassie shook her head. "It's encoded with using the keyboard letter to the left of the actual letter. Easy to decode once you know it, but enough to throw someone through a loop. I'll read it." Cassie cleared her throat before continuing, "I am not sure who will read this but it is brief and non-vital. This game is the key to his eternal containment. Let the new princess take the crown."
Some metaphorical gears turned in Sylvia's head as she processed the words as well as some rabbit shaped graffiti-like markings painted on the plastic cover of game box, so an addition made by the sender and not a part of th official print, and her eyes lit up. "I know this is going to scare the shit out of your dad, but I think you need to play the game. I think that Cassey T and my sister need you for something."
Cassie now bore the confused expression. "For what?"
"Remember what Des told us about that game. What is in it. We have reason to suspect that William will take refuge in here, hence these markings as a warning." Sylvia picked up the game box as she spoke and pointed to the rabbit graffiti.
"Yeah, the mimic is also in there. It's the thing that forced my dad to pilot the mask bot to hand me the mask," Cassie replied, "That training sim is the space that that weird short exec guy used to stick GGY, Clone William, and Mimic1 in the code blender so it wouldn't be found out until he downloaded it onto that endo I destroyed. Why would William hide in the same space as something trying so hard to copy and kill him."
"As I said, he's not actually in there yet," Sylvia replied, "I said he will be forced into there."
"Forced in?" Cassie inquired.
"He managed to possess my sister and her dad's ghost has been keeping him in, but she told me she has a plan." Sylvia grinned, "She'd get help from an insider to anonymously mail us what we need, and once the plan is in action, he will be forced to take refuge in there."
"And that insider is me."
A voice that didn't belong to Cassie or Sylvia spoke up, and the duo turned around to see Desmond standing and speaking in a voice that sounded wrong for him.
"I am Alistair. You may already be aware of me from my involvement in the VR environment. I could have shipped this in a blank box, but I needed my brother unconscious to fill you in on the details, as having any kind of paper trail from here on in will stop this plan from working."
"And this plan is…?" Sylvia inquired.
"Take the memories from the hand of the disembodied. Use them as the bait. Take up the mantle and lure the wizard into the witch's trap." Alistair spoke slowly and calmly, as if reciting a story.
"Cryptic," Sylvia grumbled, "Can you tell us anything else?"
"The hand may take up the wand and robes of the destroyed, but it is not wise enough to use it yet," Alistair replied, adding a final piece of information to her story, "it would be dangerous to say any more."
"Got it." Cassie said as she begun to set up the VR equipment.
"I get the gist; take what bad entity 2 has nicked to bait bad entity 1, and we can worry about the fallout later." Sylvia nodded as she begun to help Cassie.
By the time Cassie and Sylvia had set up the VR environment, Alistair had silently left and let Desmond wake back up.
"What's going on?" Desmond wearily mumbled as he pulled himself to his feet.
"We're on a mission," Sylvia answered, "Your sister filled us in on the details."
"That explains the pain…" Desmond grumbled as he rubbed the back of his neck, trying to soothe a phantom pain. "I'll assume that's why the box was used - so she didn't have to fight me."
Sylvia flinched at how Desmond described the whole possession thing. "… Are you OK?"
Desmond nodded. "Alistair and I don't always get along, but she needed to convey a message I guess, and by the looks of it, an important one."
Cassie nodded as she held the VR headset above her head.
"Time to grab some memories and lure an evil wizard to his death."
Once in the training simulator, Cassie knew that she'd get very little further direction from Cassey and Ness, and no further instruction from Alistair. She also knew that Sylvia was about as much in the loop as she herself was, so she'd have to rely on herself to find these 'memories' that if her interpretation of the mission was correct, the mimic would be hoarding.
If it was Mimic1, Clone William, GGY, or a mix of the three was yet to be discovered, but she knew that with the exception of the GGY component, it would likely see her as a traitor. Her managing to 'kill' clone William back in the VR environment before she could rendezvous with the other Gregory Getters branded her a traitor in his eyes. Her managing to destroy the endo the mimic had been downloaded onto in the real world during the Ruins incident branded her a traitor in Mimic1's eyes. Two thirds of it were likely against her, so she had two choices: appeal to the possible third segment, or the better options.
Allegiance against a common enemy.
With the mimic relegated back to code, and likely a disembodied hand if the mission briefing was being literal, William had gone from being the lesser threat of the two to being the greater threat of the two. With how her sleeper side had managed to drive the mimic back in a bare-fisted brawl back during the Ruins incident, she knew that it knew that she was a capable fighter who is skilled way beyond her years. She could claim a mercenary motive for her actions. Whether it'd beleive such bold-faced bullshit was another question, but she hoped it wouldn't come to that.
She hoped it'd see her as being indistinguishable from any other player. The other better option, and probably the best.
As she loaded into the lobby, she felt as if words were being injected directly into her mind, words that linked back to what Alistair had told her. It felt like someone was giving Sleeper further instruction on what to do, and in turn, Civ instinctively felt as if she knew what to do as well.
She needed to find a way to play Princess Quest 4. That is where Ness would be waiting for her to deliver William to her.
The note in the box had been to tell Cassie that she had to be the one to play the game, likely because of the message Ness wanted to send would only be able to reach someone like her, and Alistair had to deliver the extra details so she would have the preconceived notions necessary to fully understand the even more cryptic message that Ness sent.
Cassie received the message loud and clear.
She was ready to create the key and do all that was needed to let Ness enact her plan.
"He should be in there…. ETA NOW!" Cassie heard Sylvia yell. She was loud enough to get through the headset, and that's all she needed to hear.
It looked like the game was officially afoot.
She followed many cryptic hints for hours and hours, taking each doll from the disembodied hand that lurked, and after collecting the final doll from Fazerblast 3, a minigame that she was sure was the embodiment of the mimic's own want to eliminate William, if only to take the man's place in the world, she claimed her prize and returned to the main hub where she found the purple Faz-token that had now spawned in.
She knew exactly what to do with it.
After taking it from where it floated, she made her way over to the Princess Quest 4 arcade machine and inserted the coin that it needed to begin.
Taking a deep breath, she begun her part of this journey of leading the princess through the castle, making use of a teleport ability that felt very similar to typical VR movement mechanics.
As she played, she had some time to think: Princess Quest was not a Faz Ent IP. It was solely a Silver Parasol IP. One they released as an app and an arcade machine. It was a monument, a record, and an escape key. The fact a Princess Quest game was in this at all was a sign that Cassey T, Jeremy B, Ness, and Sylvia had managed to scheme their way into getting in on the development of this game.
Ness and Cassey were waiting somewhere on the other side of this game, ready to strike.
Heading deeper and deeper into the castle within the arcade, she noticed something odd.
"That looks like the room I'm in!" She heard herself exclaim as she saw a figure hunched over an arcade machine on the screen.
As she looked up, she saw that the room around her was dark. Looking around more, she saw the princess. An 8-bit sprite, as she expected, but it felt odd, but also as if it was meant to be.
On instinct, she directed the princess towards her and pressed the only interact key she knew of: the attack key.
Everything went white, but she felt nothing from it, and when everything cleared, she was in a place she didn't think the game expected her to be. It was dark, and the only distinguishing feature was the checkerboard floor lit by a golden glow coming from somewhere in front of her. In front of her stood Cassey Tapper, holding the glowing golden sword. Meanwhile, she also saw Cassidy hovering slightly behind the programmer.
Cassie looked around, and finally saw the ghost that had been possessing her hovering nearby as well.
"You must be Charlie," she said.
Charlie just nodded and pointed back towards Cassey.
Cassie nodded back and looked back towards the programmer who was possessed by the one William should not have killed.
"It's going to be up to you; you're going to be able to pick up where we left off." Cassey knelt down and held the sword out in front of her as she spoke, resting the point on the tile.
Cassie instinctively grabbed the hilt, and Cassey placed her hands over the girl's. She noticed that her hands actually looked like her hands, and her arms looked like her arms. It didn't feel like she was in a VR game anymore, but that her soul was somewhere else, temporarily in some kind of secret meeting place. Cassie turned her attention back to the sword; she had never welded such heavy weaponry before, only using knives and at most a machete. A sword, albeit virtual, was new, and even with Cassey holding it steady, it still felt as if it was going to topple, but she didn't panic. She smiled as the golden glow illuminated herself and the room she was in.
Cassey gave one last smile as she let go of the sword, letting Cassie be it's sole bearer, before she stood up and walked into the darkness.
Cassie knew that this was all the help that Cassey and Cassidy were able to provide; William knew them too well. But Cassie? The last time they met was on terms neutral to the both of them; the old man would not suspect a thing.
The screen went white again, and when that too faded, she was back in front of the arcade machine. The princess stood unarmed next to her. The sword was on the arcade's screen, and the words "take it" were below.
As she took the sword, she knew that it was for certain that her encounter with Cassey had not been in this VR world, but had been elsewhere, merely facilitated by the VR equipment. It was most likely that it had been a temporary digital consciousness transfer so that they could meet in secret and Cassey could pass her part of the torch onto her.
And now she was back in VR.
Cassie knew that once this was all said and done, Cassey, Jeremy, and most importantly Ness would have thier hands full with the finer details of William's containment. Whilst Sylvia was a part of that team, she also had the most experience dealing with the components of the mimic, having been involved in the Ruins incident. It was clear that Sylvia would be the bridge that kept the containment of William and the pursuit of erasing the mimic connected, and that from everything that has happened so far, Cassie could tell that Sylvia already knew her role. Why else would everyone at Faz Ent fearfully refer to her with all sorts of words that in some way meant 'Knight'.
The cavalier, the woman-at-arms, the duellist, the chevalier, the knight; all refering to this woman.
They also called her 'Don Quixote', though Cassie felt as if she and whatever exec had called Sylvia 'Don Quixote' and had called Luis 'Sancho' hadn't read the same book that she had. Faz Ent probably hoped that Sylvia's knights quest was simply the insane endeavour of a woman already driven to delusion, but Cassie had watched everything from the shadows, and despite Sylvia seeing a fantastical fantasy form of the world half the time - a condition Sylvia believes was caused the the remnant her bosses had sneakily injected into her system - she had managed to stay grounded enough in reality thanks to her friends and her drive to protect them.
And with Cassie taking up the mantle of the princess of light, she too would now need a knight at her side, as even if the Princess's Quest appeared to be the adventure of a single girl on the surface - a single player game - the player had always been there as a guide, as the knight.
This sword felt lighter than the one Cassey had passed her. She knew what she had to do.
She maneuvered through the game around her; the training sim that had become Princess Quest 4 was her battlefield as she slew foe after foe, fighting towards the core of the castle within this game.
First, she found a key. It opened the door she found herself next to, and through it, was a pit, similar to the one the princess had decended on the arcade machine.
She decended through the pit herself, slaying any monsters she met along the way. Once at the bottom, she found herself in a long corridor. The beasts were an afterthought as she made her way down the red carpet that lead out into what was both a courtyard and graveyard; the only place in this castle that was outdoors.
The puzzle was easy to solve; a simple case of lighting the torches in an incrementing numerical order. But she followed a different pattern and unlocked a secret basement underneath the courtyard. The chest held a familiar mask.
Whilst her dad had his father's retro Bonnie mask, the familiarity felt more visceral.
Sleeper must be the one familiar with this mask.
The door at the far end of the courtyard opened anyway.
The door lead to a grand corridor, devoid of monsters.
At the end, she met the red king. She traded her Vanny mask for the plush toy that William had hidden himself within. He had been holding William prisoner in this plushie form since he had fled here to escape the hand that lurked. It seems as if even though the mimic had been reduced to a hand, the destructive potential William saw within it terrified even him.
Then a door opened. To the elevator of the rental service warehouse. The ride didn't last long, as the walls came down and she saw that she was now inside a claw machine.
She knew this was her destination.
She saw Vanny outside, giant, yet to Cassie, not imposing.
She was finally face to face with Ness.
All that was left to do, was simple.
She handed the plush doll that William was trapped within over to the moon, who delievred it to Ness.
Whilst William had freed himself from his plush prison and had resumed his Glitchtrap form, it wasn't long lived as Ness crushed him in her hands.
Ness then looked over at Cassie and waved as she dipped into the darkness. She could tell that on the other end of whatever system was connecting them, that Ness was smiling.
Cassie waved back at her aunt, and she couldn't help but smile.
They had all done it.
Ness had captured and contained William.
Everything was on her terms now.
And as Cassie removed her headset and dealt with her eye strain and minor disorientation, she couldn't wait to see how this would all play out.

Ranking All The Star Wars Video Games I've Played!
I am going to do a quick ranking thing here where I rank all of the Star Wars videos games that I have played. I am going to be ranking from nine to one, nine being the least liked and one being the most liked.
#9: LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. This one isn't truly bad or terrible because none of the games on this fall into that. This one is just more of a neutral thing. It does a good job retelling some of the Clone Wars show. There were some levels I didn't care for but it's really not a bad game at all.
#8: Star Wars: The Old Republic. Yes, I have spent a lot of time on this particular one and yeah, that is why it's on the low end of the list. Again, not really a bad game here. However, there's just so much you can't do without being a subscriber to the game. Plus, I find that the combat is just really, really boring. It does have a lot of good though, mostly in the way of it's really good storytelling and unique stories for each class you can play. Not bad but could be better.
#7: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. Force Unleashed II has a lot of good going for it. But, one major downfall is just how short the game is compared to the first one. Plus, the ending fight against Vader is really annoying. But, the rest of the game is really good and really fun in my opinion.
#6: LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The only Star Wars movie to get its own LEGO game for some reason...okay. There's a lot of good here honestly as a lot of the shooting combat was refined in this game which did get implemented into The Skywalker Saga so, there is that. However, the game overall is incredibly short, even with the extra levels and yeah. Not a bad game though.
#5: Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017). Now, look, I know that when it released there was a ton of issues and I know all the controversaries this game brought to the world of loot boxes in video games and all of that. However, I played this one far after launch and I honestly have had a good time. It's got a pretty decent single player campaign, it's got the arcade mode where you can play bot multiplayer matches and the actual multiplayer matches can be fun too if you don't get hackers in the lobby to ruin everyone's fun.
#4: Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005). Now, this is a really good game through and through. However, there's one mission in the campaign that I could never get through and I hate that. The thing for me is that it doesn't feel all that different from the first game, aside from the campaign actually telling a story this time around. Doesn't make it a bad game but it just kind of makes it more of the same to me.
#3: Star Wars: Battlefront (2004). I can't deny that this is indeed a good game. I do wish though that the so called campaign told an actual story rather than just basically being bot multiplayer matches but, I suppose it's alright. But, I honestly found a lot more fun playing this game over its sequel but that's just me.
#2: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Now, this one is a little bit nostalgic for me. It was the first video game that I ever pre-ordered and that was a PS2 copy of the game that also came with a four inch Clone Trooper Commander figure, which I still have and I have the Black Series Gaming Greats version of it too. The game is honestly so, so good and the story it tells is so good too. Just a really good and fun game.
#1: LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. This one also has a bit of nostalgia for me. I don't the exact year but I remember it was Christmas and I opened my first ever Nintendo DS Lite and then I opened this very game. My brother got it too so we could play the game together. Of course, all these years later I own the PC version and it's still an amazing and super fun game to play. Pretty sure most people who game has played this game, it's that good.

AI Answers
Brilliance doesn't automatically mean one will earn a degree. I know lots of smart people who failed out of college, or who simply didn't go. I know, unfortunately, lots of really, really dumb people who have graduated from college.
College isn't perfect. It is a system and people game it. Back in "the day" whenever that was, people stole the answer sheets or cheated off a neighbor's test. That was bullshit. Why cheat? College isn't a requirement is it? Unlike K-12 school, no one "has" to go to school. So, why the fuck would you come to school to cheat?
Just don't come. If you don't like what we are doing here, don't come. I don't want to eat squid, so I'm not going to a seafood place and be angry that I can't have a veggie burger.
Teachers don't like cheaters in general and they think the value of the degrees should mean something and so, to avoid this kind of cheating, teachers started giving out papers. There isn't a "right" answer on a paper or essay test. Each person has to write s/hi/er (this is a generic pronoun I use. I also use s/he/y and s/he/m) own answers and be judged on s/hi/er own ability to know the material or write a really good bullshit essay.
That was useful and it worked, but we don't really do long-hand essays anymore. Papers are typed. Notes are typed. Walk into a classroom right now and 99 percent of the people are typing notes on laptop, or tablet, or are recording the lecture so a talk to text software program will write them up later. I don't like this option by the way, not because that isn't' useful or super cool, but because like taking a picture of the notes on the board, it is too passive. Recording it and typing it up later is a great idea.
Technology has its place. I prefer to type. I love me some spell check. I am not trying to be that grumpy old man who hates all technology, but...
We have come to the point in time where the AI doesn't just dictate, with typos, it now writes "original" thoughts. I recently noticed that one student's email had one voice and s/hi/er academic posts had a different one. Sure, people code switch all the time, but when I asked s/he/m about it, s/he/y dodged the question, but suddenly s/hi/er academic voice as a little more raw. Yeah, the grade was lower, but the "real" person afforded me with the opportunity to engage in a real, meaningful, conversation.
It isn't all the student's fault. We've been told for decades now that education is a way to get trained to do a job, not a place to think big thoughts and grow. Thus, anything that isn't in the major is "a waste of money" and a scam. I totally disagree, of course. If I thought that were true, I would quit tomorrow and go back to farming.
I think education should train a person to do something. People who have a degree in say, history, should be historians. However, s/he/y shouldn't only learn history. A robust education allows people to do so much more. It gives people a place to talk about bit ideas and get lost in thought.
Unfortunately, today, because of the commodification of education people just want to rush through it. They have been convinced it is "just a piece of paper" that has less value than a take out menu. Instead of taking notes on Henry IV while reading it, a person can just ask a chat bot to write up a synopsis of it and later, a paper. Odds are, and I am just being honest here, that AI paper will likely earn a passing grade but the person will not have enjoyed any of Falstaff's jokes and, for me, that is the real crime.
I guess I would rather be wrong and learn something, than be "right" and learn nothing.

hi frank! i'm so glad you're getting so much love in your twilight moments. you've made us all very happy and i think we'd like to try and make you happy as well as you head off into the sunset.
what kind of things make you the happiest?
Roughly speaking I am happiest when I'm able to figure out what's going on around me and manipulate my environment for my own benefit. That is, I tend to be happier when my actions are more effective, which I think comes from the feeling that I am "in control" of my own life.
However, there are many things that increase or decrease that control, and for me they seem to have the same sort of "relative" nature I talked about earlier. For instance, what seems to make me unhappier than usual right now is that my sense of control is being diluted by newfangled social networks. The most obvious example of this would be tumblr and twitter, which emphasize the idea that my friends and associates are much larger and less connected than they used to be. There's also the fact that I'm not sure how many of my tumblr followers are "real people" (as opposed to bots, "professional bloggers" or "trolls"), and that I'm never sure how people's likes, reblogs, and mentions of me are meant (positive, negative, or neutral?). These things don't affect me in any direct, meaningful way, yet they tend to make me feel more uncontrolled than I'd like.
Conversely, the fact that my tumblr followers, twitter followers, etc. are so numerous makes me feel like I'm better "connected" than usual, which is great. This is just the old "I've met more people" / "there are more people to meet" equation.
Which brings me to my other favorite way to "feel in control." One of the things I tend to do when I am feeling happy is to change my room's lighting and ambient noise levels. When I am happy, I tend to want to be curled up in my bedroom, with the lights dimmed down to the barest minimum of "how much light do I need to see?", and with only the ambient sound of traffic and birds outside my window. I guess that seems relaxing and comforting to me?
I also generally want to read books when I am happy (as opposed to watching TV, using the internet, etc.), although this is not quite the same as reading when happy. Reading is the equivalent of changing my environment in a more "tangible" way, which is why I tend to prefer physical books to e-books -- I can flip through them more easily, see what I've read and what I haven't read, etc.
There are many other examples of this "finding a way to change my environment to make it more beneficial to me" thing. For instance, I tend to have an easier time doing things if I can do them on the couch, as opposed to doing them while standing. This has something to do with the position of my head, but I can't say exactly what it is.
Another thing that helps me "feel in control" is if I have the opportunity to do something that benefits me and no one else. This is the essence of "working" for me -- unlike the vast majority of what humans do, work feels like it is really "for me" in some meaningful way. It's possible to view even sleeping as a kind of "relaxing work," since it feels like I'm forcing myself to rest instead of leaving the choice up to my environment. But it doesn't have the same "feel" as work, where I'm actively doing something and there's a fairly clear sense that the benefits are going to come to me and no one else.
(Of course, I could say this also shows that what I really value is "relationships that are highly specific to myself." Work is work because it benefits me, rather than a vague "me" that contains many people, or contains "everyone." Conversely, when I relax, I do so in such a way that it benefits me, and benefits everyone who shares my body. It's interesting that in a way "work" and "relaxation" are framed as opposite poles in our society, when to me it seems like they are both about making decisions that affect only one person -- me -- as distinct from "open-ended" or "non-specific" decisions like "should I spend time in X or Y" which are fraught with many social implications.)

Common Grid War Act 14, and I’ve rebalanced the ladder once again. There are some fairly major changes that I think better reflect my stance on some of this.
To go over structure:
S: Units that go far above and beyond, to being near-staples in various game modes.
A: Highly valuable utility, or highly self-sufficient offense.
B: Good utility that’s a bit more stage-specific, or offense that can be great but definitely needs buffing support to get there.
C: More niche utility, or offense that tends to be lacking.
D: Generally poor performance, in which critical flaws impede what could be otherwise interesting niches.
F: Borderline unusable.
I’ll be going over every tier, though with some (intended) brevity.
S-Tier The usual top 4 remain, but Siebold has officially been welcomed into the fold. I am a massive slut for Sure Crit sync nukers now, and Siebold has been part of that. The only thing holding him back prior was general lack of confidence, but having tested him...Siebold is legitimately great. And EX actually feels like it accomplishes some great stuff. I feel like if Candice makes it, he makes it.
A-Tier By far the most change. Kahili has ascended. Endure is so good. Applying it twice? Divine. Again, Sure Crit sync nukes are beautiful, but having defense drops too on a one-gauge spam? Kahili is wildly flexible, and I kinda love her. She’s so good that you don’t even strictly need crit support, and thus has three-turn setup. The only reason she’s not S is because lack of EX can severely hurt in modern CS. Blaine’s grid isn’t fantastic, but it’s sufficient, and his sun setting + trap already set him apart. The fact his trainer move is two use to capped attack means he’s honestly easy on support needs as well, which definitely feels A-tier. Marley’s been great support, no real changes. Cheryl’s next because her utility is unbelievably good for Gauntlet, even if CS is somewhat hit and miss. Whitney is beautiful utility with a decent sync nuke, and a lot of flexibility in her grid. Agatha is the best F2P sleep user in the game, able to get perfect sleep chance, MGR9, capped speed, and even has backup skills in paralysis and an 80% chance to debuff special defense. Unfortunately this means it’s hard to decide what to do with her in a moment, sleep is inconsistent and the entire basis of her sync damage, and she loses paralysis if she mega evolves. So definite limitations despite how much she can accomplish. Wikstrom is insanely good, being able to cap all offensive needs in two moves, though needing to attack first. Wikstrom also suffers a bit from massive frailty in attack mode. If he didn’t drop so easily, he’d be way higher. As for Noland, he’s similar to Bruno in that he just takes forever to get there, but also lacks DPS. He’s definitely doing well, and is notably self-sufficient, but does under-perform compared to Bugsy for damage.
B-Tier Ramos is a sleep bot, but that wins games sometimes. Brawly’s bulky and has Potion and defense drops, as well as a few interesting resistances. Janine has solid poison sync damage, guaranteed poison chance, and the coveted Venom Drench for debuffing. Janine has a lot of good utility tools now. Will has fantastic DPS and sync damage, but is super reliant on buffing. At least he has a great flinch rate and confuse. Gardenia, as much as I love her, struggles. Needs special attack buffing, needs sun, very reliant despite her damage. Bugsy is super reliant on support, but has really good sync damage, and at least passable DPS for a side in CS. Molayne’s damage hasn’t felt great, but he’s got some nice tools, including good speed and flinch rate, so that counts for something. Crasher Wake should be higher due to self-sufficiency, but his damage is supremely disappointing due to the hard requirement for foe to be flinching for his innate sync multiplier. It blows, so he’s here. Liza is...good. She can buff either offensive stat and special defense, but once her buffing is over, she’s kinda dead weight. Worse, she’s dead weight that doesn’t even get Endure like Roxanne, so she’s a lot harder to justify. Sophocles has great tools, but unfortunately is terrible damage. Yes, even his sync, I have a metric ton of trouble getting him to do real damage to Thundurus, who he’s good against. Kid struggles. Lucy’s got good utility, but I think her damage is pretty limited for someone with such high support demands. And Brycen! I like him more than I let on, I think Haze is super underrated. And that 20% freeze chance can come in clutch. I know he’s not objectively good, but I think he’s undersold.
C-Tier I am surprisingly fond of Marlon’s grid, I think they did some interesting stuff that I’m excited to test out. More later. Marshall’s is...objectively better than I give credit for. Rock Smash getting guaranteed defense drops and a 30% staggering rate at the same time is downright unit, so we’ll see if it amounts to much. He’s also got comparable Bruno stats, but none of the self-sufficiency and terrible bulk. But I’m optimistic. Roxie...she’s probably better than I give credit for. But her self-buffing is too scattered, her multipliers based on a very slow-ramping skill she has only on grid, and I’m sorry she just hasn’t impressed. Very support reliant for not enough return. Tate has potentially good damage and a flinch rate, but is too scattered to have anything higher than this. Drake and Cheren. Drake has tools, but his grid is so bad he gets like two of them and that’s it. It’s bad, man. It’s real bad. Cheren I think has a better optimized grid, but less to accomplish. I will say, of the two, I do prefer Cheren. Full Heal can now restore some HP. That’s far more than Drake can say. Though both are slow supports whose only gauge control is limited MP to fully restore all gauges, but at least they get Team Sharp Entry. Drake’s a bit higher for buffing both defenses, while Cheren can’t. Surge and Mina bring up the bottom. They’re good debuffers of a single stat, but are single-target, lack good self-sufficiency, and aren’t the best at damage either. I do rate Surge higher for having a decent paralysis chance and evasion on top of his debuff, though.
D-Tier Valerie has one point of legitimately great utility, as the tank for SS Wally. Otherwise, she is a mess. Clay has some decent tools, but is super support reliant and Not Very Good despite it. Hapu, somehow, is worse. SS Brock, Grant, and Thorton are all the same thing: slow, but has a good flinch rate. SS Brock and Grant can potentially deal damage, especially with SS Diantha coming up. But Thorton is dead in the water. Similarly borked is Wulfric, who has at least risen to D-tier for saving one of my recent Gauntlet matches. You know, after like 30 resets, but eventually those freeze and flinch chances did land.
F-Tier Norman is the last winner. Poor damage. DPS will actively kill him regardless of grid. Sync multipliers are bad. No self-sufficiency. All he has is a paralysis rate, that isn’t even guaranteed. I feel comfortable saying he’s the worst unit in the game.

P.s the person who asked about the 3200 words thingy, I misread it or just worded it badly xd
Sure, I’m just taking notes at this point. I saw it and was just confused, I see many people making bots different and don’t know what formula to use

I could record a podcast on the different formulas and which ones work and not, but my carpal tunnel will NOT allow me to type it all 😭😭💔 I hope to shed some clarity on my process at least, but I really do recommend experimenting. I've been doing this for over a year, so I've experimented a lot.
For first messages, let's go over one of my new bots, I haven't posted this one yet fyi.
Notice my message is edited, it seldom is great the first time. Here, you see that the first ever response has ZERO dialog. This is actually a first for me, and I realized that there were multiple problems with my first message: I didn't use a name, I had not written anything in the moment (specifically, actions,) and something else I forgot. Even the little things make a difference, I never use personal pronouns so it might be different if you do. This is also too short for my liking.
Adding that I don't like the quick shift from the attitude I wrote in the greeting. It feels inorganic. The other replies are ver similar in nature.
I'm actually going to end this here, because I just remembered I'm not done toying with this bot 😭😭 it is far from perfect. More evidence that it really is a case by case basis unfortunately. For now, I'll show you my blacksmith Leo one.
To be fair, I already worked on him and he has been posted for a while so it looks a bit different from what yours might at the start because it has already been programmed.
This bot is kind of a take your own route one here, and my oc (an actual oc this time lol) is inviting him to her brother's wedding. I have coded in that user has a family he is familiar with, but no specifics. I have to make it a point to clarify if she has a large or small family. I also specified the wedding is in Sparta, a place in Greece. I am checking for a key things here: how is the bot responding to this information?
I don't want anything rude, especially not when other people will be using it, but I want to consistently get positive or neutral things. In this case it is an oc but think about bots where people might tell an actual thing about them, I do NOT want the bot to be like "screw that, you're stupid." (I have gotten bazar responses before with the most nonsense things like a favorite color and that does not need to be happening to unsuspecting people.)
If the bot is adapting well, then good. I also care about how long the responses are. I like long ones.
Also because the relationship between the user and Leo is mostly alluded to, I did have to go back and make a lot of edits to the definition to get good responses. Some people might use this bot for friendship, probably isn't the majority, but even then it should do just fine with that. Also know who is using it, but if it is just you, this part really does not matter.
There is a lot more personal preference from here, but it is 100% okay if you need to go back and do some editing. Whether that be in the greeting or the definition. It takes a lot of trial and error, sometimes.

My first essay
Under the influence
Fashion has been something I have been interested in since I was young. I have always wanted to create my own clothing brand, always searching for manufacturers knowing I was never able to afford it. Creating design concepts hoping that one day I could make my dreams come true. What got me interested in fashion were the different types of clothes that was out the my first pair of jeans which stick in my head are g star raw jeans im not sure if they were real or fake but they were baggy and i thought they were cool and it's crazy how fashion back in those days were baggy jeans then it went to skinny jeans now it's back to baggy. Going back to the days when I started college for the first time I came across a brand that also inspired me and a lot of brands today the name is bbc ice cream.
What I thought was cool about that brand was how they added their logo to the crotch of their jeans and now you see plenty of brands doing that so it shows the inspiration for fashion.
I am also a model as well as being a designer. The modelling part is relevant to this because I have to look good and have a reasonable outlook on fashion and the way I dress. I have to keep up with trends and dress up with the times I can't be behind. Social media websites such as instagram pinterest and tiktok help me keep up with the relevant trends that are out there. Pages like hypebeast help also because they show clothes, even objects and items that are made by designers and collaborations that are interesting. And me as a guy who is into fashion looks and nit picks things that i like to create an outfit that would be cool and represent me. That's why people say that I am my own stylist. Because it's all good going buying trending items and making your outfit unique but you can tell who's a trend hopper and who's just buying the first thing they see on tiktok for example nike dunks. Nobody used to wear them and now everyone wears them and I think I have gone sick of seeing them.
Like I mentioned before, fashion trends are cool because every year something from the past becomes hot again. Even styles become hot right now the whole y2k (year 2000) style has taken the world by storm. Brands have incorporated the whole style in it. Or people have created brands that have taken inspiration from it. A major brand I can think of is Named Collective. Named Collective there whole campaigns have very y2k aesthetics involved in it even their clothing designs look it as well. Right now timberlands and baggy jeans are what's trending. That's mainly due to the rapper Lil Yachty and also celebrities can influence trends. In the future i feel that skinny jeans will be back in trend because they cant be out of trend for long anymore.
I would love to art direct a brand campaign. Starting from the social media adverts. All the way to the website looks. Just everything. Because my mind goes wild with thoughts and ideas for brand advertisements. So working with a huge brand with the budget to make it happen would be great. Id love to work with many Brands but the main brands I want to work with are Zara, Corteiz, Clints inc, Bene Culture, and balenciaga.
One thing I hate about the fashion scene would be the brands that have come out of the blue and started a brand with no passion and thought. Just creating something that is solely to profit and make a quick flip. Most of their designs would be pre-made designs which a lot of people have purchased from other graphics designers which have no relations to their brand. Generic Quotes. And basic symbols and imagery which have no thought or meaning behind it. I think they are ruining the scene although some of their designs are cool they won't have much longevity.
Also resellers I hate because years ago a lot of trainers were more accessible to get but now scalpers are buying and botting huge portions of clothing so it isn't possible for most of the public to get clothing for the retail pricing. Causing the price to be at an all time high. Trainers that you could probably buy for £150 which is already quite expensive to me being £500 and these things make fashion items less and less accessible unless you have a whole bunch of money.
The difference between regular streetwear and high fashion is crazy because in recent days i feel like most brands are doing a mix in between high fashion and streetwear in some of the pieces they drop whether its like the quality fitting and the design of the clothing or the just the overall prints that they put on the designs. Again corteiz is the perfect example of this because they went from simple T-shirts and hoodies with logos on it to creating fur and leather jackets high quality clothing. To try and tailor to both audiences. Which isn't that bad of an idea but your core audience may think you are straying away from them. The differences between the two styles would be one style if fashion is a lot brighter and different pieces of clothing can be put together no matter how different the types of clothing, maybe for example mixing smart with casual clothing like a hoodie, smart trousers and trainers. And the colours can be bright or bland. Whereas high fashion tends to be plain colours or neutral colors, high quality clothing and weird things that people will buy even though they might not like it but they might just want to show off.
I don't really agree with the pricing most brands choose to put on the clothing these days mainly because most brands in my opinion aren't really worth it unless i find that there designs are unique and are a beginning of a new trend like the Msfts boots because even though they aren't my favourite trainers they are something different and other brands could take inspiration from them and make the imagination run wild rather the being basic. Also if the quality of the clothing like the gsm and the weight of the garment are top tier then it would make sense as they would last longer. I would rather pay more for that but if its just a plain hoodie with words written on it then thats a no.Also the actual technical side of clothing matters to me as well because a hoodie with zips on the sleeves or cropped makes a hoodie more unique than a simple fitted hoodie. But my ideal price range would be around £30-£100 for a hoodie any higher is really pushing it in my opinion because I like to support brands and stuff but that's way too much.
Fashion these days can be way too crazy and it can be easy to judge people and get the wrong impression on people from what they wear. Mainly because of the brands and what they release or display on fashion week. Because from what I have seen some of the brands put models in makes me think that it's all for a social experiment. Like when balenciaga made jeans that had boxer shorts attached to it it and also the towel dress they made it makes me think whether people actually wear those clothes outside. I have only seen a few amounts of clothing that has been on run actually being worn outside like the big crocs and that balenciaga defenders they do look cool but i do think the other ones ive seen are quite outlandish.
One of my favourite brands of all time would be Adidas. Due to me liking the three stripes a lot and their collaboration with kanye west even through the controversy i think what he creates and makes is very innovative and inspirational. He usually is first in line to create weird clothing and brands follow on and copy what he is doing which I think is cool considering he started from making music and now is doing clothes. Adidas is also a mainly a sportswear clothing brand and they have separate sections to the brand adidas and adidas originals. They also have staple pieces which they have made like the superstars sambas and the sambas have recently come back in trend. They also have the best collaborations in my opinion like the alexander wang's also y3 and bape. However i dont like the adidas jeremy scott wings because of how ridiculous the look. Huge wings on the side of shoes does not make sense to me.
I also love Nike because of their classic collection of trainers, not specifically the clothes like Adidas but I feel their footwear is a lot better and in recent years I've found myself buying more and more of them and the general public buying a lot of them. With their classic collaborative shoe the nike jordan with the 1 and the 4s being the most popular right now out of all of them. And I do agree due to the silhouette being something that can go with most trousers and jeans and colours that can match with a lot of things. I do agree with it being a popular shoe. Also another trainer called the air force 1 i'm pretty sure they were at one point the most popular trainers out there to be specific the white color aswell because it goes with anything you wear due to it being a plain colour and the black colour holding a stereotype.
There are many more brands out there that i like but i love how nike and adidas do things like how they
One of my favourite brand designers id have to say is virgil abloh
I had to scrap it due to me not basing it on one topic rather than me speaking on numerous

Hey! I came across your blog while on Disney side of Tumblr
I’m so sorry to bother you. My aunt, Angela, lost her husband and is now faced with caring for her son, who has intellectual disabilities, alone, as well as trying to bring my uncle, who suffered a stroke in England, back home to Ireland so she can care for him as well. His condition is deteriorating, and we're trying to get him home before he becomes too ill to travel.
I understand that the vast majority of people on this site are in a similar situation to me and don't have the funds to donate, so I’m not asking for any. I'm just wondering if there was any chance you would consider reblogging the fundraiser on my page to try and reach some people who may be in a position to help?
I know that with the increase in spam bots this year, people might not be comfortable reblogging from a page that contacted them out of nowhere, especially one that is newer (my own page was accidentally deleted by Tumblr during the great purge of all those spam bots, so I had to create a new one), and I normally would never dream of reaching out to anyone I don't know and annoy them, but Tumblr is the only site I really use, and it's the only thing I could think of to bring awareness to their story.
I don't want you to feel pressured into anything you're uncomfortable sharing, so if you're not okay with it, that's totally okay! And if you can help by sharing, I would be eternally grateful.
Thank you for reading and considering.
If there is anything you want clarification on, please let me know!

Okay, I'm gonna be completely honest and I do apologize if this sounds harsh: this may not be a good way to spread the word, as you stated, there are a LOT of spambots that do the same thing and scammers who have taken to messaging folks. And while your reason for this being a new blog makes some sense, I'm sure you can understand why some people are a little leery.
I'm also confused on how you found me on the Disney side of tumblr...when I'm not a part of that side and the last time I posted anything about Disney was a vague post about the Owl House (minus reblogs).
All of that said, I will reblog the post to help spread the word, but I am letting my followers decide whether they want to donate or share.
And to be fully transparent: if I find out this is not legit, I am deleting my reblog immediately.
Again, I do apologize if that came off as too harsh, and I do genuinely hope that Angela and her family get the help they need. I'm just hesitant about trusting random internet strangers, due to my own experiences.

5:00 AM, West Arcade
FNaF:SB Hub, < prev, next >
This was the second of all of these writes that I originally completed, losing out to the daycare, which was first. Daycare is to blame for all of these, to be honest. Whoops lol Enjoy Ranboo suffering through the majority of the 5:00 AM chapter that includes the DJ Music Man boss battle in the arcade!
Word Count: 2518
--
“This place does look kinda sick, though.” Ranboo mumbled to himself, stepping off the elevator and glancing around the entrance to the arcade. Passing by the giant statues in favor of a flight of glowing stairs, he cautiously looked around as he made his way up to the next level.
The dim, occasionally flashing lights of the rows of games lit his path as he slowly made his way across the dark, carpeted floors. Each floor had strange, large, glowing holes in various spots along the wall, the neon lights within occasionally moving and flashing to draw his attention back to them. The area was hauntingly empty, the lack of the familiar security bots leaving an unsettled feeling deep in his stomach.
Climbing another flight of stairs that led to another floor almost identical to the previous one, he eventually found himself in a darkened brick hallway, stopping in front of a dark, metal security door.
“Okay, cool. Made it.” He swiped his stolen badge across the panel by the door, the red light switching to green as the door slid up into the ceiling. This office was even more cluttered than the previous ones, with a large metal contraption in the middle he assumed was the repair station. Taking one last look at the nearly decayed head in his hands, he reached for the chute labeled ‘Head Deposit’ and attempted to pull it open.
As soon as he tugged on the door, he heard the office power down and watched the lights flicker off. He groaned, thudding his head onto the nearest window of the repair station. “You’ve gotta be kidding me!”
“The west arcade was not shut down properly.” The automated voice came from the speakers on one of the nearby desks, the audio crackling slightly as Ranboo turned to approach it. “Some data may be corrupted. Initializing start-up sequence.”
“Ugh, it knows I’m here and wants to lock me out, I guess.” He commented to himself, before turning to look at the bot head he was still holding in one of his hands. “Isn’t that just fantastic? Isn’t that just so much fun? I love this place. I totally want to come back after I make it out.”
“Before proceeding, reset the audio manager circuit breaker located next to the dance floor.”
“That’s convenient.” He set the head down by the deposit chute, taking a deep breath and heading back out through the security door into the hallway. “Time to find the ‘audio manager circuit breaker’ or whatever.”
He trekked back down the steps he had just climbed up, pausing at the bottom of the final landing and opting to sit on the ledge around the bottom of the statues at the entrance to take a quick break.
“Man, I hate this stupid place.”
After standing back up and heading past the elevator to the only place he hadn’t explored—which meant it had to be the ‘dance floor’. He paused for only a second as he saw the giant headphones belonging to the DJ, giving the animatronic a worried stare before sighing and trudging past it.
“Everything’s gonna be fine. Just gotta turn on whatever the thing is on the dance floor and then I can fix the head and get out of here.” He mumbled, uncomfortably glancing back at the DJ as he spotted the red light of the circuit breaker by the stage. “I’m sure this won’t end badly. No, no way. This can’t go badly, everything tonight has gone perfectly well. This thing is totally gonna just stay like that and not come to life like everything else. I’m sure this’ll go great. Fantastic, even.” He pulled the switch of the breaker, the light blinking off before turning back on—this time green.
“Great job! Safety protocols deactivated.” The same automated voice from the security office came from overhead loudspeakers, a freezing chill running up Ranboo’s spine as his eyes widened.
“Wait… deactivated? No no no no no, that’s gotta be bad for me.”
“Pram zapped. Brun DJ protocols. Reticulating splines.”
Ranboo paused, forcing himself to turn around as the voice continued on. “What’s that even— AND HE’S GONE!”
The spot where the DJ had previously been lying was now empty, the giant hole the animatronic was lying in completely vacant as another wave of cold fear washed over him.
“Please reset circuit breakers to all zones. Three zones remain: janitorial service, arcade, arcade.”
“I’m sure this bodes well for me.” He commented with a dry chuckle, his legs locked in place as the automated voice was replaced by a loud beat. “Oh, but that’s kinda a jam. That sounds sick, actually. I like that.”
He bobbed his head to the music as he finally willed himself to walk past the now empty stage, ignoring the shake in his hands as he climbed back up the first flight of steps. The emptiness of the arcade only made him more uneasy, glancing around to see if any of the other animatronics had wandered in somehow while he was busy with the office and then the breaker box. Despite not seeing any, he still felt himself ducking to hide behind some of the game boxes, peeking around corners before moving.
Spotting a flash of red light among the powered down games and dim, neon backup lights, Ranboo tried to stealthily move in that direction while sparing frequent glances at the holes in the wall—which were uncannily similar to the one the DJ had disappeared through.
He made it to the lever much faster than he anticipated, throwing the it and leaning back against the wall to rest briefly. The music quieted slightly as the automated voice came over the speakers again, announcing, “Two zones remain: janitorial service, arcade.”
After collecting some of his breath, he moved to push off the wall only to freeze in place once again as a giant, white hand emerged from one of the holes on the far wall of the arcade. The hand was followed by a dark, stick-like arm and then another, the wide, keyboard smile of the DJ close behind. Its unblinking eyes seemed to stare straight through him as it turned and started climbing along the side of the wall, its six legs all ending in the same, large hands sticking to the surface with an unsettling amount of ease.
“AHH! What the hell is that?!” Ranboo backed up into the wall he had just moved away from, watching the animatronic find another hole to disappear into, his horror only growing. “How do things keep getting worse?! Every time it gets worse it feels like it’ll be the last time but then something like THIS comes along and it does get worse!”
He let out a deep breath as the music suddenly kicked up a notch, his eyes wildly scanning all of the holes on the walls to see if the DJ was going to appear anywhere near him. He couldn’t see down any of the holes to figure out what the tunnel system looked like, deciding it would be better to just shut this thing off before he had a chance to see if there were any patterns to its movement.
Now running, Ranboo spotted another hallway on the bottom floor behind the stairs he had missed. Jumping down nearly half the steps in one go, he weaved through the tables and games once again to find himself in a narrow hallway that contained a few too many holes for his liking. Shaking off his discomfort and deciding he just needed to do this as fast as possible, he sprinted down the hall and found a set of doors that led into a bathroom.
“Oh, this’ll be good for when I inevitably crap my pants seeing that thing crawling out of the wall like some kind of… giant… insect… thing.” He pushed the closest door open, jogging inside and letting out a breath of relief at seeing there were no holes in the bathroom.
Well, obviously.
“What is it even supposed to be? Who wants an ant for a DJ? Are ants historically good DJs?”
Finding the back storage closet was easy enough, him pushing the door in and finding another powered down circuit breaker. He quickly threw the switch, being greeted by the same automated voice once again.
“One zone remains: arcade.”
He stepped back out into the main room of the bathroom as the music grew louder and once again kicked up, almost loud enough that he missed the thudding footsteps outside the bathroom that nearly shook the doors off their hinges. The door directly in front of him flew open, the DJ’s face too wide to fit in but only inches away from him. He couldn’t even bring himself to scream, backing up in the far wall and cowering in the corner between the sinks and hand dryers as one of the DJ’s long arms reached into the bathroom to feel around for him. The arm disappeared for a moment as its head moved to look inside again, deciding to tear the door completely off its hinges before reaching another arm in to blindly feel around.
He had to remind himself to breathe as he tried to force his body out of the corner, each step echoing loudly in his ears as he tore himself away from the corner to move for the other door in hopes that one would lead out—and not directly into the DJ.
He was reaching for the door handle when the DJ’s face came back into view through the other door, his entire body locking up despite his efforts to run while he still could. He held his breath as the DJ moved away, letting it out as he reached into the same door as before.
Now. I should go now.
He took another step forward before movement from the DJ had him stumbling back, him once again freezing in his place as the DJ tried to look in again. As soon as its face was out of view, he tried to steel himself again.
Now. I should go now. And actually go this time. Which is now.
One step at a time, he made it back to the door and grabbed the handle of the still shaking bathroom door. He cracked it open an inch, before pausing again.
“Now!” He yelled at himself, that seeming to be enough to snap him out of the fear induced haze and sprint out of the bathroom and back towards the main room of the arcade. He stole a glance over his shoulder to see the DJ watching him run and then crawling into the nearest hole.
By the time he was back up on the first floor he was ready to collapse, his eyes frantically scanning the walls for the red light of the final switch he needed to throw. He fell still as he saw the DJ crawling through one of the nearby holes on the ceiling, waiting until he was out of sight again before deciding to try the top floor.
“Yeah, no, no. I’m okay with this. I’m totally okay with this.”
Taking the shallow steps three at a time, he scrambled up onto the top floor of the arcade in no time, his head whipping side to side before finally spotting the faint red light from across the room. He dashed for it, bracing himself on the wall with one hand as he threw the switch and grinned tiredly as it flashed to green.
“Almost done! There is a software update available.” The automated voice took over the music, Ranboo’s head snapping up in surprise. “Reset the final circuit breaker located at the south end of the arcade maintenance hallway.”
“SOFTWARE UPDATE? Final circuit breaker?! This is a joke. This has to be some kind of joke.” He couldn’t help but laugh, resting both of his hands against the wall and letting his head slump back down. “Man, I hate this, I hate this, I hate this, I hate this…”
Not even the music once again increasing in intensity could lift his spirits, him taking a quick breather before running back into the hallway where he found the security office, passing the security door and rounding the corner to an even longer hallway.
His sprint slowed slightly when he realized there were no holes on the wall in the maintenance hallway, the sides littered with broken arcade games, shelves, and a strange amount of wiring. He took the chance to look around, slowing to a walking pace as he took in his strange surroundings. He paused when he reached the lever at the back end of the hallway, staring at the only large hole in the tunnel, waiting just at the end on the back wall.
“If I pull this lever, will the boss music start? Or is this the boss music?” He joked to himself, grabbing the lever but not yet willing to throw it. “I sure hope when I pull this lever he doesn’t crawl out of that big foreboding hole that’s right in front of me.”
He threw the switch and braced himself to run, blinking in confusion as nothing immediately happened. The music died down as the voice spoke up again, lulling just long enough for him to hear, “Well done. The arcade has successfully rebooted. Return to the security office.”
As soon as the voice finished speaking, he felt the tunnel rumbling and heard the crawling of the DJ in the hole behind him. He was frozen again as the DJ’s face came into view just as the music kicked into its final gear, his panic finally taking over as he turned and ran back down the maintenance hallway.
Not even the blaring music could drown out his screaming as he ran back through the tunnel, which was now shaking violently with every step from the DJ that sent arcade games and shelves crashing down right in his way. “NO! Oh my god, no!”
He threaded his way through the falling debris fairly well, stumbling but never quite falling as he urged his body to run faster down the hallway as he felt the giant animatronic slowly gaining on him.
“I’m so close! No! Not like this! Please not like this!”
He finally rounded the last corner, the sight of the security office a welcome comfort as he pushed himself the last few feet down the tunnel to swipe his badge across the pad and throw himself into the room. The door slid shut behind him, the music quietly fading out as he gasped for breath on the floor of the office. After a few moments, he sat himself up—still panting—and looked around.
“Now I just… need to repair… the head…” His voice was quiet as he stood up, taking one look at the repair station before flopping down into a padded seat at one of the many desks in the office, closing his eyes in relief and letting himself rest. “...in a minute. I’ll repair the head… in a minute.”
