Went to the bookstore today and asked about their mythology section and this frickin guy had the gall to be like "Yeah it's over here, but these are really dense and difficult so let me show you the children's mythology section." I was so baffled I didn't say anything. If there was something she hated more than accidentally injuring herself during cooking, it was when someone else saw and noticed it. With how stubborn she is, she probably would have insisted, if she said something: that he doesn't need to trouble himself, and that she could just tend to her own hand..

It thankfully was not anything too serious, though: just a minor burn mark on her hand, caused by when she accidentally touched a very hot pan with it. It made a very noticeable red mark cover a big part of it... There was absolutely no way she would be able to cook anything else like this.

"Hhhgh...." She tries to hold back the hiss of pain that leaves her. This burn hurt quite a lot... ("Geez...stupid Kaede: how could you make such a careless mistake? And Izuru-senpai having to witness this...!") She grits her teeth in frustration. But she knew beating herself up over it wasn't going to help; that she should just let Izuru tend to her, and not feel so bad about it. And so, she nods her head this time.
