Quiero compartirles algo que nos ha estado pasando estos días.
El antisemitismo de los vecinos se empezó a notar más ahora que estamos en Januka...(somos nuevas aquí, y vivimos en un barrio no judío, ya que en nuestra ciudad la comunidad está menos concentrada). Entonces, como dice la halaja, nosotras prendimos las velas cerca de una ventana que da a la calle para que fueran visibles. Hice carteles. Entonces una vecina empezó a decirles a los niños que esas luces son brujería y (otras cosas horrendas que ni siquiera quiero escribir). Imagínen nuestra bronca... Luego las mismas niñas vinieron a preguntarnos qué significan las velas y les contamos de los milagros que Él hizo.
¡Todo esto nos da fuerza, la luz de Hashem está por encima de toda la oscuridad de las malas lenguas y Él lucha por nosotros!

my final from last semester that i made into a zine. cooked this one up in a couple hours before the critique (the ink was still wet!), so it's very raw and kind of sloppy but the sentiment is there. i love you trans people of color. we are the backbone of this community 🌟
