Gambit Movie Idea

I am high on Sharpie fumes MFS

Movie where Channing Tatum Gambit is popped into the Fox X-Men universe (same universe as Deadpool) and the whole movie is about him finding "who Gambit really is". Very much "Im just Ken" the movie. The main antagonist is the OG Gambit from Wolverine Origins- who (post that fuck up) made a task force (mafia) to properly maintain the balance of New Orleans. On the way he meets Rouge (OG Fox Xmen Rouge- Anna Paquin) who was in the city to meet up with some contacts from the Brotherhood who served as double agents.

Via a misunderstanding, Gambit assumes that these brotherhood members are a part of the gang and he takes them out, leaving Rouge pissed and clueless. Meanwhile, Gambit is smitten even though Cher is flying his way. They fight/ Gambit gets the shit beaten out of him. After admitting that he was after "The Gambit" and that he was "just Gambit" (running joke material right here). Rouge is like "Fucking... F I N E." So they're partners through the whole movie.

Through it, Rouge admits that she and Bobby broke it off after Rouge pushed him away. Gambit admits that he has no idea what he's gonna do after this. We love Lost Souls who are Soulmates here.

When they get to "The Gambit" (Taylor Kitsch) It is revealed that he has been working with the brotherhood bc "mutants are the dominant race" and "Fuck humans"- stemming back to his trauma from Wolverine Origins. In reality, he just wants a shadow of the bond he and Logan had (Que scenes of Logan and "The Gambit" Sleeping on the way to the airport and "The Gambit" looking at him in a very bisexual way. All the while claiming "My adoration for that man is unlike anything else!"

The movie ends with Rouge and "Just Gambit" Kicking ass, finding plans for the Brotherhood, and Rouge telling Gambit her real name. Gambit asks if this is the last he'll see of her and she says, "I thought you wanted a purpose." They then ride off into the sunset, the last thing we hear is Rouge saying "Hey Professor," Roll credits.

Basically Lance moves into this new neighborhood to get away from the past (which is mainly his child’s mother and some other toxic people/environments (not his family or Hunk though)), and is immediately known as the hot, single dad who recently moved to the neighborhood, before he meets Pidge, a former child prodigy now genius software engineer. Pidge and Lance form a close bond with each other and Hunk even meets up with them a few times!!!!

Lance also hears about the young, hot mechanic down the street, and that’s kinda where their rivalry starts (along with other events).

In the mutual pining rivals au they keep getting put in situations where they have to compete, and then they become rivals, but they’re also hopelessly pining over each other and adore the other a lot. Cue Lance’s child accidentally calling Keith “Daddy” and everyone freaking out.

In the fwb au Lance grows a pair and pins Keith to a wall before making out with him almost immediately (like in the first few chapters), which also leads to mutual pining. They’re still “rivals”, though. Rivals who secretly make out and cuddle with each other, but that’s not important (it really is).
