The Rink Where I Found You | psh

pairing: figure skater! sunghoon x reader
genre: strangers to best friend to lovers
wc:9.8k
synopsis: From the moment nine-year-old Y/N threw a tiny penguin plushie onto the rink after Sunghoon’s first skating performance, their story began quietly, sweetly, and on ice. Growing up side by side in the same school and at the rink, their bond deepened through late-night practices, shared sweaters, and unspoken feelings that glided just beneath the surface. As Sunghoon’s figure skating career took off, distance tested them, but love rooted in years of small moments, soft routines, and heartfelt surprises never wavered. Through arguments, long-distance calls, surprise visits, and tearful airport hugs, they learned that some love stories don’t need dramatic confessions just one constant person at the edge of the rink, waiting with a penguin in hand.

At nine years old, Park Sunghoon had just begun his journey in figure skating. He was small but determined, gliding across the ice with a focus far beyond his years. Every practice, every competition, he poured his heart into it, dreaming of becoming the best. But no matter how hard he trained, no matter how nervous he got before a routine, there was always one thing that made him smile a little girl in the audience who never missed a single one of his performances.
You.
You didn’t know much about figure skating, but you knew that Sunghoon was incredible at it. He was fast, graceful, and when he jumped, it looked like he could fly. So, without fail, at every one of his performances, you’d be there, watching with wide, excited eyes. And at the end of each routine, when the audience clapped and cheered, you would carefully pick up your favorite penguin plushie and toss it onto the ice for him.l
It started as a random gesture. You just thought Sunghoon looked really cool, and the penguin was your favorite, so why not give it to him? But when you saw how his eyes would always search for that plushie among the flowers and gifts, something in you knew he noticed.
And then one day, after a local showcase, something unexpected happened.
Instead of just picking up the plushie and skating off, Sunghoon skated straight toward the edge of the rink right where you were standing. You gasped as he bent down, picking up the familiar penguin, then looking up at you with a curious expression.
“You always throw this,” he said, turning the plushie in his hands. His voice was soft, almost shy.
You nodded enthusiastically. “Because you’re really good! And penguins are the best, like you on the ice.”
A small smile tugged at his lips. He didn’t usually talk to people much during competitions, but something about your excitement made him stay a little longer.
“Thank you,” he said after a moment. Then, glancing down at the penguin, he added, “Do you want it back?”
You shook your head quickly. “Nope! That one’s for you. But I have more, so I’ll bring another next time!”
Sunghoon blinked at you in surprise before a soft laugh escaped him. “You have more?”
You grinned. “Lots! I love penguins.”
He looked down at the plushie again, then back at you. “Then… I’ll keep it.”
And from that day on, every time Sunghoon performed, he would secretly look out for you in the crowd. Because no matter what, he knew that when he finished his routine, a little penguin plushie would be waiting for him and so would you.
After that day at the rink, Sunghoon started noticing you more both on and off the ice.
It turned out you went to the same elementary school, though you were in a different class. Before, he had never really paid attention to the other kids outside his skating practice, but now, whenever he saw you in the hallway, you would wave at him excitedly.
“Morning, Sunghoon!” you would greet him, always cheerful, as if the two of you had been best friends forever.
At first, he didn’t know how to respond. He wasn’t used to people outside of skating being so interested in him. But soon enough, he found himself waving back sometimes even waiting in the hallway just to see you before class started.
Your friendship grew naturally. You always had something to say, whether it was about a new penguin plushie you got or how you tried skating once but fell on your butt “at least a hundred times.” Sunghoon, usually quiet with most kids, found himself laughing around you more than he expected.
During recess, you would drag him to play on the swings or challenge him to silly races though, of course, Sunghoon always won.
“That’s not fair! You’re fast because you skate all the time!” you pouted.
Sunghoon just smirked. “You should train more.”
And even though he was serious about skating, he still let you win sometimes not that he’d ever admit it.
At lunch, you would trade snacks, and on the days he had practice after school, you’d wish him luck, always reminding him: “Don’t forget! I’ll be there watching!”
Sure enough, every time he had a performance, you were right there in the crowd. And without fail, a penguin plushie would land on the ice just for him.
One day, as the two of you sat together during lunch, Sunghoon held up the newest penguin you had given him. “Why do you always bring these?” he asked, tilting his head.
You grinned. “Because penguins are cool. And you’re cool.”
His ears turned a little pink, and he quickly looked down at his food. “…They’re cute, I guess.”
You gasped dramatically. “Sunghoon! Did you just admit that you like them?”
He huffed. “I didn’t say that.”
But after that, whenever you gave him a new plushie, he never once complained. And in his room, neatly lined up on his shelf, was every single penguin you had ever thrown onto the ice for him.
As the years passed, your friendship with Sunghoon only grew stronger. You were always there for him—through every competition, every late-night practice, and every win or loss. And in return, Sunghoon became your closest friend, the one who always made sure you didn’t trip over your own feet when running too fast and the one who quietly waited for you after school just so you wouldn’t have to walk home alone.
By the time you were both twelve, you had watched Sunghoon skate so many times that you practically memorized his routines. But there was one thing you had never done—step onto the ice yourself.
“You watch skating all the time, but you’ve never tried it?” Sunghoon asked one afternoon, frowning in disbelief. The two of you were sitting outside the rink after his practice, sipping on hot chocolate.
“I have!” you protested. “That one time in first grade, remember?”
Sunghoon rolled his eyes. “You mean the time you fell on your butt five seconds after stepping onto the ice?”
You huffed. “That still counts.”
He set his drink down and stood up, holding out a hand. “Come on.”
You blinked at him. “Come on where?”
“To the ice.”
Your eyes widened. “What? No way, I’ll just embarrass myself.”
Sunghoon sighed, grabbing your wrist and pulling you up. “I’ll teach you.”
The next thing you knew, you were clumsily stepping onto the ice, gripping the rink’s barrier for dear life. Sunghoon skated backward in front of you, his arms crossed as he watched you struggle.
“You look like a baby penguin,” he snickered.
“I’ll take that as a compliment,” you muttered.
Sunghoon shook his head, skating closer. “Okay, let go.”
You stared at him like he was crazy. “Let go? And do what? Fall?”
He rolled his eyes. “I won’t let you fall. Just trust me.”
Hesitantly, you removed your hands from the barrier, wobbling immediately. Sunghoon grabbed your hands before you could panic, steadying you. “There. Now, just bend your knees a little and push forward.”
With his guidance, you managed to take a few shaky steps. It wasn’t anything impressive, but the fact that you were moving without falling made you grin.
“I’m doing it!” you cheered.
Sunghoon smirked. “Yeah, yeah. Barely.”
You stuck your tongue out at him, and for the first time, you understood why he loved skating so much. It was hard, but with him beside you, it was fun.
From that day on, whenever he had free time, he would teach you little by little. You weren’t great, but you got better—and every time you managed to skate without toppling over, Sunghoon looked just as proud as if he had landed a triple axel himself.
And even though he never said it out loud, he liked that you were learning something that had always been his world because, in the end, he wanted you to be part of it, too.
A few weeks after Sunghoon started teaching you to skate, something unexpected happened.
You were at the rink as usual, clinging to his hands as he guided you across the ice. He had been extra patient with you today, slowing down just enough so you wouldn’t stumble. It was fun until a voice called out from the stands.
“Sunghoon!”
The two of you turned to see a woman standing by the entrance of the rink. She was beautiful, with warm eyes and a kind smile. You had seen her before, always watching Sunghoon’s performances from afar, but you had never actually spoken to her.
“Mom?” Sunghoon blinked, looking slightly surprised.
“I finished work early, so I thought I’d stop by,” his mom said as she walked closer, her gaze flickering to you curiously. “And who’s this?”
You froze. No one had ever asked before. Usually, you were just “that friend who throws penguins onto the ice.” But before you could open your mouth, Sunghoon did something surprising.
He gently let go of your hands and turned to his mom. “This is Y/N,” he said, his voice clear and certain. “She’s my best friend.”
Your eyes widened. Sure, you had been friends for years, but hearing him say it so straightforwardly made your face heat up. His mom’s expression softened, and she smiled warmly at you.
“Oh, so you’re the one who’s always cheering for him,” she said knowingly.
You nodded quickly. “Yep! And I’m learning to skate now, too.”
Sunghoon scoffed. “Barely.”
His mom chuckled. “Well, it’s nice to finally meet you properly, Y/N. I’ve heard a lot about you.”
You looked at Sunghoon in surprise. “You talk about me?”
His ears turned pink, and he looked away. “Not really.”
His mom raised an eyebrow but didn’t say anything, just giving you another warm smile. “It’s good to know Sunghoon has such a supportive friend.”
You grinned. “Of course! Someone has to be there to throw penguins.”
Sunghoon groaned. “Not this again.”
His mom laughed, watching the way Sunghoon nudged your shoulder in fake annoyance—though the small smile tugging at his lips gave him away. And as she observed the way you two interacted, she realized something:
Her son, who usually kept to himself, had found someone he truly cared about.
After that day, something changed.
Sunghoon had always been comfortable around you, but after officially introducing you to his mom, it was like he finally acknowledged out loud how important you were to him. He didn’t just tolerate your presence at the rink anymore he expected it. If you missed a day, he would text you:
Sunghoon🐧: Where are you?
You: I had extra homework today. You miss me already?
Sunghoon🐧: No. You just need more practice.
But the next time you showed up, there was always an extra snack waiting for you beside him.
His mom also started treating you like you belonged there. Whenever she visited the rink, she would ask about your skating progress, sometimes bringing an extra hot chocolate for you. “You’re practically part of the family at this point,” she joked once, making Sunghoon cough awkwardly.
One afternoon, while Sunghoon was packing up after practice, you sat beside his mom in the stands, swinging your legs.
“You know, Sunghoon’s always been a bit reserved,” she said suddenly, watching him from afar. “He’s focused, serious, and doesn’t let a lot of people get close to him.”
You turned to her curiously. “Really? He’s never like that with me.”
She smiled knowingly. “Exactly. That’s why I was surprised when he introduced you as his best friend.” Your cheeks warmed slightly. You had never really thought about it, but Sunghoon did act differently around you compared to others. Even when he teased you about skating, he was patient. Even when he claimed he didn’t care, he always waited for you after school.
Sunghoon skated toward the barrier, giving you a pointed look. “Are you just going to sit there, or are you actually going to practice?” You grinned, hopping to your feet. “I’m coming, I’m coming.”
As you hurried over, his mom watched with fond amusement. Even if Sunghoon hadn’t realized it yet, she could already see it whatever you and her son had, it wasn’t just childhood friendship. It was something deeper, something that would only grow with time.
Sunghoon’s birthday dinner at his house was a little nerve-wracking at first. It wasn’t that you had never been over before you had but this time, it felt more special. His mom had personally invited you, and Sunghoon hadn’t protested, which meant (in his language) that he actually wanted you there.
When you arrived, his mom greeted you warmly. “Y/N! I’m so glad you could make it. Sunghoon’s upstairs in his room if you want to go see him before dinner.”You hesitated for a second. Sunghoon wasn’t the type to let just anyone into his room, but you nodded and made your way up, knocking on his door.
“It’s open,” came his voice from inside.
You pushed the door open and stepped in, only to freeze at what you saw.
Lined up neatly on a shelf above his desk were all the penguin plushies you had ever given him. Some were big, some were small, and some were slightly worn from being hugged or squished over the years. But the fact that they were there displayed so carefully made your heart feel a little funny.
“You kept all of them?” you blurted out.
Sunghoon, who was sitting on his bed scrolling through his phone, glanced up before following your gaze. His eyes widened slightly before he quickly looked away, pretending to be uninterested. “Yeah. So?” You grinned, stepping closer to poke at one of the plushies. “I don’t know, I just thought maybe you threw some of them away or something.”
He scoffed. “Why would I do that?”
Your smile softened. You didn’t say it out loud, but the fact that he had kept everything meant more to you than you expected.“Anyway,” you said, shaking off the warmth creeping up your neck. “I got you a present!”
Sunghoon raised a brow as you pulled out a wrapped package and handed it to him. He tore it open, and when he saw what was inside, his lips parted slightly in surprise.
It was a matching set of sweaters one for you, one for him. Both were navy blue, with a little embroidered penguin on the chest.
“I figured since you secretly love penguins—”
“I don’t,” he muttered.
“—we should have something to match,” you continued, ignoring him. “You don’t have to wear it, but—”
Sunghoon stood up, unfolding the sweater to look at it properly. He didn’t say anything for a few seconds, then, to your surprise, he pulled it over his head, adjusting it before looking at you.
“It’s… nice,” he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. “Thanks.”
Your grin widened. “Nice? Just nice? I spent so long picking this out, you know.”
He rolled his eyes but didn’t argue, which meant he actually liked it.
Before you could tease him more, his mom called from downstairs. “Dinner’s ready!”
Sunghoon glanced at you, then grabbed the second sweater the one meant for you and tossed it at you. “Wear it.”
You blinked. “Huh?”
“If we’re matching, we’re matching now,” he said simply before heading for the door.
Your face burned, but you quickly pulled it on and followed him downstairs, feeling lighter than ever.
Dinner at the Park household was warm and lively. Sunghoon’s parents were kind, asking about school and skating while making sure your plate was always full. His little sister, who had taken a liking to you over the years, kept giggling every time she looked between you and Sunghoon in your matching sweaters.
“You two look like a couple,” she teased, grinning.
You laughed, shaking your head. “We just match because he secretly loves penguins.”
Sunghoon sighed dramatically. “I don’t love penguins.”
His mom chuckled. “Then why do you have a whole collection of them in your room?” His ears turned red, and you couldn’t help but giggle. He looked at you like he wanted to say something sarcastic, but instead, he just sighed in defeat and kept eating.
After dinner, Sunghoon led you back to his room, where the two of you sat on the floor, surrounded by the leftover wrapping paper from his gifts. You leaned back on your hands, watching as he carefully placed your sweater gift in his closet, almost like he wanted to keep it safe.
“You really like it, huh?” you teased.
Sunghoon turned to you, rolling his eyes, but there was something softer in his expression. “Yeah,” he admitted quietly. “I do.”
Your heart did a weird little flip, but before you could process it, he sat beside you, nudging your shoulder. “Thanks for coming today.”
You smiled. “Of course. You know I wouldn’t miss it.”
There was a beat of silence before he cleared his throat, looking away. “…And for the plushies. And the sweater.”
You blinked, surprised at the rare moment of sincerity. Then, grinning, you bumped your shoulder against his. “You’re welcome, Birthday Boy.”
Sunghoon groaned. “Never call me that again.”
You just laughed, and even though he rolled his eyes, he didn’t push you away. Instead, he sat there, comfortable, as if having you beside him was the most natural thing in the world.
A few weeks after Sunghoon’s birthday, something unexpected happened. You were at school, rummaging through your locker when you noticed something sitting on top of your books. It was a small, neatly wrapped box with a tiny note attached.
“For you. Don’t make a big deal out of it. – Sunghoon.”
Your eyebrows shot up. A gift? From Sunghoon? You turned, scanning the hallway until you spotted him leaning casually against his locker, pretending to be focused on his phone.
“Park Sunghoon,” you called out, marching toward him with the box in hand. “What is this?” He glanced up, completely unfazed. “A gift.”
“I can see that, genius.” You waved the box. “But why? It’s not my birthday.” Sunghoon shrugged, slipping his phone into his pocket. “Do I need a reason?”
You stared at him, suspicious. “You hate giving gifts.” “I don’t hate it,” he muttered. “I just… don’t usually do it.”
Now even more curious, you carefully unwrapped the box right there in the middle of the hallway. Inside was a keychain—a tiny plush penguin, the same size as a charm. But what made your heart flip was the fact that it matched one of the plushies you had given him before.
Your fingers brushed over it gently. “Sunghoon…”
He shifted on his feet, looking anywhere but at you. “You’re always giving me stuff, so… I thought I should get you something too.”
For a moment, you didn’t know what to say. Sunghoon wasn’t the type to go out of his way for just anyone. The fact that he had picked something so specific something that reminded you of all the years you’d been by his side meant more than words could say.
Slowly, you smiled. “You’re really soft underneath all that ice, huh?”
Sunghoon groaned. “Forget it. Give it back.”
You laughed, clutching the keychain to your chest. “No way! It’s mine now.” He sighed, but there was the tiniest ghost of a smile on his lips.
Later that day, you attached the penguin keychain to your bag, making sure it was visible. When Sunghoon noticed, he didn’t say anything but you caught the way his lips twitched upward, just for a second.
By the time you and Sunghoon reached middle school, things had changed but at the same time, they hadn’t.
He had grown taller (annoyingly so), his skating had become more intense, and he had started getting more attention from classmates and even strangers at the rink. Meanwhile, you had found your own interests, but no matter what, the two of you always made time for each other.
Sunghoon still waited for you after school, still grumbled whenever you teased him, and still pretended he didn’t care when you cheered the loudest at his competitions.
But then, something unexpected happened.
One afternoon, you were at your locker when you overheard two classmates whispering nearby.
“Did you hear? Some girl from another school confessed to Sunghoon after practice yesterday.”
“Really? What did he say?”
“He rejected her, obviously.”
Your fingers paused over your books as your brain processed the information.
Someone had confessed to Sunghoon? And he had rejected them?
You weren’t sure why, but your chest felt a little weird. You shook it off, shutting your locker just as Sunghoon walked up beside you, hands in his pockets. “Ready to go?”
You glanced at him, wondering if he’d say anything about what you just heard. But, of course, he looked the same as always calm, cool, and completely unbothered.
As the two of you walked outside, you couldn’t hold it in any longer. “So… you got confessed to?” Sunghoon blinked, caught off guard. “How do you know that?”
You shrugged. “People talk. So? What happened?”He exhaled through his nose, looking forward. “Nothing. I just told her I wasn’t interested.”
For some reason, that made your stomach untwist a little. You kicked a rock on the sidewalk. “Why not? She was probably pretty.” Sunghoon shot you a look. “What does that have to do with anything?”You shrugged again. “I don’t know. Don’t guys usually like it when girls confess?”
“I don’t care about stuff like that.” His voice was firm, as if the idea itself was exhausting. Then, quieter, he added, “Besides… she wasn’t you.”
Your breath caught in your throat, and you almost tripped over your own feet. “Huh?” Sunghoon kept walking like he hadn’t just casually said something that made your heart pound.
You stared at him, trying to figure out if he was jokingbut he wasn’t smirking, and his ears were turning pink.
Realization hit you all at once.
Sunghoon didn’t just keep your penguin plushies because he liked them. He didn’t just wear the matching sweater because you told him to. He didn’t just get you a gift because he felt like it.
And suddenly, everything made sense.
Your feet moved before your brain could process what was happening.
“Hey—wait!” You jogged to catch up, grabbing Sunghoon’s sleeve to make him stop. He turned slightly, his expression unreadable, though you didn’t miss the way his jaw tensed.
“What did you just say?” Your voice came out quieter than you intended.
He stared at you for a moment, his lips parting slightly like he was debating whether to brush it off. But then, he sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. “You heard me.”
You had heard him. And it wasn’t like Sunghoon to say things he didn’t mean.
Your heart was hammering, but you managed to swallow down the nervous energy bubbling inside you. “So…” You tried to sound casual. “You rejected her because she wasn’t me?”
Sunghoon exhaled sharply, as if frustrated but not with you. More like with himself. “Yeah.” His voice was quieter now, more uncertain. “Is that weird?”
Weird?
You didn’t know what to say. You had always been close, always shared an unspoken bond, but this was something new. Something different. Slowly, you shook your head. “No. It’s… not weird.” His gaze flickered to yours, searching. “Then what is it?”
You felt warmth creeping up your neck, your fingers still clutching the fabric of his sleeve. The truth was, you didn’t have an answer yet. But what you did know was that Sunghoon had been by your side for years, and somehow, the idea of anyone else standing where you stood felt… wrong.
“I don’t know,” you admitted, voice barely above a whisper. “But I don’t think I want anyone else to be there either.”
Sunghoon’s breath hitched slightly.
For a moment, neither of you moved. The air between you felt different now charged, uncertain, but not uncomfortable.
Then, in true Sunghoon fashion, he scoffed lightly and nudged your forehead with his fingers. “You’re so dramatic.”
You laughed, the tension easing just enough. “Says you!”
But as you both continued walking home, your hand brushed against his just slightly. And this time, neither of you pulled away.
Even without a label, there was something different between you and Sunghoon now something soft, something unspoken, but always there.
Stealing Each Other’s Food
“Yah, that’s mine,” you scolded, swatting at Sunghoon’s hand as he stole a fry from your tray. He popped it into his mouth without remorse, chewing lazily. “You weren’t eating it.”
You narrowed your eyes, then reached over and snatched a piece of his sandwich.Sunghoon blinked. “Did you just—” “You weren’t eating it,” you repeated, grinning. He stared at you for a second, then let out a small, amused scoff. “Okay. So this is how it is now.”
From that day on, it became a habit stealing each other’s food without a second thought.
Sunghoon Carrying Your Stuff Without You Asking
It started with your schoolbag. One day, you complained about how heavy it was, and without saying anything, Sunghoon just took it from you and slung it over his shoulder.
At first, you were too stunned to react. “Uh… you don’t have to—”
“I know,” he said simply. “But it’s annoying watching you struggle.”
You rolled your eyes but secretly smiled.
From then on, Sunghoon always carried your bag when it looked too heavy, held your books when you were organizing your locker, and even grabbed your water bottle at the rink before you could reach for it.
It wasn’t a big deal. Just… something he did.
Late-Night Calls That Lasted Until One of You Fell Asleep
“I should sleep,” you mumbled, your voice thick with drowsiness.
Sunghoon hummed on the other end of the line. “Then sleep.”
“You hang up first.”
“You called me.”
You sighed, too tired to argue. “You’re annoying.”
“Then why are you still talking to me?”
Silence. Then a soft, sleepy giggle from your side. Sunghoon smirked, knowing he won. “Goodnight, dummy,” you murmured before your breathing evened out.
He didn’t hang up immediately. He just listened for a little while longer before whispering, “Goodnight.”
Then, and only then, did he end the call.
Sunghoon Letting You Put Stickers on His Belongings (Even Though He Complained)
“You’re ruining my skates,” Sunghoon deadpanned as you carefully stuck a tiny penguin sticker on the side. “You can barely see it,” you defended. “Besides, it makes them cuter.”
“I don’t want them to be cute.”
You just smiled sweetly. “Then why haven’t you peeled off the stickers I put on your water bottle?”
Sunghoon shut his mouth, ears turning slightly pink.
You grinned
Knowing Each Other’s Schedules Better Than Your Own
You groaned as you shuffled through your bag. “Ugh, I forgot we have a quiz today.”
Sunghoon, sitting beside you, didn’t even look up from his book. “No, that’s tomorrow. Today is the presentation.”
You blinked. “Oh… wait, are you sure?”
Sunghoon sighed, finally glancing at you. “You’d be failing if I wasn’t around.”
You pouted. “That’s not true! I—”
“The English quiz is on Thursday, your club meeting got moved to Friday, and you have to turn in your history project by next Monday.”
You stared at him, stunned. “Do you memorize my schedule?”
Sunghoon rolled his eyes. “You don’t, so someone has to.”
Your heart did a little flip, but you played it cool. “Well… what’s your schedule?”
Sunghoon smirked. “Why? Are you gonna memorize mine now?”
You huffed, cheeks warming. “Forget it.”
But secretly, you did.
Walking Home Together, Even When It Was Out of His Way
Your house was not on the way to Sunghoon’s, but somehow, he always found an excuse to walk you home.
“It’s fine,” you told him once. “You can just go straight home.”Sunghoon shrugged. “Nah. I don’t mind.” And that was that.
Even when it was cold, even when it was late, even when he had practice the next morning—Sunghoon always made sure you got home first.
Because no matter what you were to each other—friends, something more, something undefined—Sunghoon always showed up.
And you never needed a label to know what that meant.
It happened so casually that you almost didn’t register it at first.
“Hey, Y/N,” a classmate—Jisung—called out as you grabbed your books from your locker. “Are you free this weekend?”
You blinked, looking up. “Uh… I think so? Why?”
Jisung smiled, a little nervous but confident. “I was wondering if you’d like to go out with me. You know… like a date?”
Oh.
You stood there, caught off guard, processing his words. It wasn’t like you had never been asked out before, but something about this felt… different.
Before you could answer, a voice way too familiar cut in.
“She’s busy.”
You turned just in time to see Sunghoon walking up beside you, his bag slung over his shoulder and his expression completely unreadable.
Jisung blinked. “Wait, really?”
You opened your mouth to answer, but Sunghoon spoke first. “Yeah,” he said coolly. “She has plans.”
Your brows furrowed. “I do?”
Sunghoon shot you a look one that screamed ‘play along’ before turning back to Jisung. “Sorry, man. Maybe another time.”
Jisung hesitated, clearly confused but not wanting to push. “Oh… okay. No worries.” He gave you a polite nod before walking away, leaving you alone with Sunghoon.
As soon as Jisung was out of earshot, you turned to Sunghoon, arms crossed. “Excuse me?”Sunghoon sighed like he knew this was coming. “What?”
“You just told him I have plans,” you accused. “I don’t.”
“Well, now you do.”
You scoffed. “With who?”
Sunghoon looked at you like you were being dense. “Me.”
Your heart did something weird, but you ignored it. “Oh, really? And what are we doing?”
“I don’t know,” Sunghoon said nonchalantly. “Skating. Eating. Something.” Then, more seriously, “Why? Did you actually want to go out with him?”
You hesitated. Did you?
The truth was, no, not really. Jisung was nice, but… he wasn’t Sunghoon.
You sighed, shaking your head. “That’s not the point. You didn’t even let me answer.”
Sunghoon exhaled, rubbing the back of his neck. “I just—” He stopped, glancing away before muttering, “It would’ve been annoying.”
You stared at him, piecing everything together. “Annoying?” you echoed. Then, with a small smirk, “Sunghoon, were you jealous?”
His jaw clenched slightly, but his ears gave him away a soft shade of pink.
“Shut up,” he grumbled, looking anywhere but at you.
You grinned. “Oh my God. You were jealous.”
“I wasn’t.”
“You totally were.”
Sunghoon sighed heavily, then grabbed your wrist, tugging you forward. “Come on.”
You blinked. “Where are we going?”
He glanced back, his lips twitching slightly. “On our date, obviously.”
Your heart stuttered, but you let him pull you along, the warmth of his hand lingering on your skin.
And just like that, you realized Sunghoon had always been your first choice.
The so-called “date” turned out to be a mix of things you had always done together except this time, it felt different.
Maybe it was because Sunghoon was still acting like his usual self, but now you were aware of every little thing he did.
The way he casually adjusted your scarf when the wind blew. The way he slowed his pace when he noticed your shoelace was untied. The way he kept looking at you when he thought you wouldn’t notice.
It wasn’t like this was new. Sunghoon had always been… Sunghoon. But now, the moments you once brushed off felt intentional.
And the realization made your heart feel so, so full.
— At the Ice Rink
“Let’s make a bet,” Sunghoon said as you laced up your skates.
You raised a brow. “What kind of bet?”
“If you can land a spin without falling, I’ll buy you hot chocolate.”
You scoffed. “That’s easy.”
Sunghoon smirked. “Then do it.”
You pushed off onto the ice, focusing as you gained momentum. The moment you attempted the spin, your balance wavered and before you could fully recover, your skates slipped, sending you straight toward Sunghoon.
“Hoon—!”
He caught you instantly, his arms firm around your waist.
For a second, neither of you moved. You felt his warmth, felt the way his fingers curled slightly into your jacket, felt the way his heartbeat was steady but maybe a little too fast.
Your face was inches from his, close enough to see the flecks of brown in his eyes.
“Guess I won,” he said, voice quieter than before.
You swallowed. “You didn’t say what you’d get if you won.”
Sunghoon tilted his head, the corner of his lips lifting slightly. “You’ll figure it out.”
And just like that, he skated off, leaving you flustered and completely distracted.
— After the Rink
True to his word, Sunghoon still bought you hot chocolate.
You sipped it happily as you walked together, the night air crisp but comfortable.
“By the way,” you started, glancing at him, “are you going to explain why you hijacked my date?”
Sunghoon sighed. “You’re still on that?”
You smirked. “Yes.”
He was quiet for a moment before shrugging. “I didn’t like the idea of you going out with him.”
Your grip tightened around your cup. “Why?”
Sunghoon stopped walking. You turned to face him, heart pounding.
“Do I really have to spell it out?” he asked, his voice softer now.
The air felt different. He felt different.
And suddenly, all the small things the little glances, the stolen touches, the way he always showed up clicked.
Sunghoon was never just your best friend.
He was so much more.
You swallowed, your fingers curling into your sleeves. “No,” you said quietly. “I think I get it.”
Sunghoon let out a breath, almost like he had been holding it.
Then, with a small smirk, he bumped his cup lightly against yours.
“Good,” he said.
And though neither of you said it outright, you both knew this was something real.
— The Day Before Sunghoon’s Competition
The excitement in the air was almost tangible. Sunghoon’s upcoming competition was a big deal, not just for him, but for you too. You had been watching him skate for years, supporting him in every way you could, and tomorrow was no different.
Except… this time, you wanted to do something special.
Which is how you ended up in a toy store, standing in front of the largest penguin plushie you had ever seen.
It was almost half your size, ridiculously soft, and absolutely perfect.
The arena was packed, filled with murmurs of anticipation as competitors warmed up on the ice. You sat in the stands, gripping the giant penguin in your arms, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement.
Sunghoon had been training so hard for this. You had seen him push himself past exhaustion, had heard him mutter routines under his breath in class, had witnessed him skate until his muscles burned.
This was his moment.
When his name was called, the entire arena buzzed and so did your heart.
Sunghoon stepped onto the ice, his movements effortlessly smooth, his expression unreadable but focused.
And then the music started.
You had seen him practice this routine countless times, but watching it now under the lights, in front of a crowd felt different. He moved like he was born for this, each jump, each spin, flawless.
It was impossible not to be captivated.
And when he landed his final jump perfectly, the arena erupted.
You practically launched the giant penguin onto the ice.
Sunghoon, still catching his breath, looked up just in time to see it land near him. His expression faltered for a second before he let out a breathy chuckle, shaking his head in amusement.
But then, when he spotted you in the stands grinning, eyes shining something in his face softened.
A moment later, he skated over to retrieve the plushie, holding it up as if inspecting it. Then, to your absolute horror, he turned toward the cameras and held up the penguin like a trophy.
The audience loved it.
You, on the other hand, hid your face in your hands.
Later, when you met him outside the rink, he was still holding the penguin.
“You really went all out, huh?” Sunghoon teased, tapping the plushie’s beak.
You huffed. “It’s for good luck.”
His smirk softened. “Guess it worked.”
Before you could respond, he surprised you by stepping closer so close you could feel the chill from the ice still lingering on him.
Then, in a voice quieter than before, he said, “Thanks for always believing in me.”
Your chest tightened, warmth blooming in your heart.
“Always,” you murmured.
Sunghoon stared at you for a moment, eyes flickering with something unreadable. Then, without another word, he tugged you into a hug right there, in front of everyone.
And even though the competition was over, you were pretty sure your heart was still doing triple axels.
Sunghoon had never been the most expressive person. He had his ways of showing he cared small things, subtle gestures, unspoken words.
But right now?
Right now, he wasn’t subtle at all.
You noticed it the second you finished laughing at something Jaemin said. Sunghoon, who had been quiet for the past few minutes, suddenly stood up and grabbed his bag.
You frowned. “Where are you going?”
“Home,” he muttered, his jaw tight.
You blinked, confused. “Wait—what? You said you’d walk me back.”
“Find someone else to do it,” he said, pointedly not looking at you.
Jaemin gave you a look like, uh… what just happened? but wisely chose to stay out of it.
You, however, were not letting this slide.
“Sunghoon,” you called, quickly following him out of café. “Hey—stop walking so fast!”
He didn’t stop. If anything, he sped up.
“What is your problem?” you demanded, grabbing his sleeve.
Sunghoon finally turned to face you, his expression unreadable but his eyes? His eyes were burning with something unmistakable.
“Nothing,” he said flatly. “Go back to your little date.”
You reeled back. “Date? What are you talking about?”
He scoffed, looking away. “You and Jaemin. You two looked cozy.”
Realization hit you like a truck.
Oh.
Oh, he was jealous.
You exhaled, half annoyed, half amused. “Sunghoon, Jaemin is just a friend.” “Sure he is,” he muttered, voice laced with irritation. “They’re always just ‘friends,’ right? And yet, every time, I have to sit there and—”
He cut himself off, running a frustrated hand through his hair. Your brows furrowed. “Wait. What do you mean ‘every time’?”
Sunghoon’s jaw tightened. “Forget it.”
“No,” you snapped. “Say it.”
His eyes flashed as he finally met your gaze.
“I mean I’m sick of watching other guys act like they have a chance with you,” he said, voice low, heated. “I’m sick of standing on the sidelines when I—”
He stopped himself again, his expression torn between frustration and something else.
Something vulnerable.
And suddenly, you were tired too.
Tired of dancing around something that was so clearly there.
“Then stop standing on the sidelines,” you said quietly.
Sunghoon tensed. “What?”
You swallowed. “You don’t want other guys to think they have a chance with me? Then give me a reason why they don’t.”
Silence.
The tension between you was thick, the unspoken words finally out in the open.
“Sunghoon,” you whispered, heart pounding. “What are we?”
He exhaled sharply, like he had been waiting for this question but dreading it at the same time.
Then, in a voice so soft you almost didn’t hear it, he said—
“You’re mine.”
Your breath caught.
His hands found your waist, hesitant but firm. “I don’t want to be just ‘whatever this is’ anymore,” he admitted. “I don’t want to be just your best friend, or just the guy who skates, or just—”
He broke off, his eyes locking onto yours. “I just… I want it to be us.”
A shaky exhale left your lips.
And then, with a small, breathless laugh, you said
“Took you long enough.”
Sunghoon blinked before letting out a quiet chuckle, his forehead resting against yours.
“Yeah,” he murmured. “I guess it did.”
And just like that, there were no more sidelines.
The thought of meeting Sunghoon’s family as his actual girlfriend instead of just his childhood best friend was enough to send your nerves through the roof.
You had been to his house countless times before, had sat through family dinners, had even spent entire days hanging out in his room. But now? Now, you weren’t just “Y/N, the girl who always throws penguin plushies at his competitions.”
Now, you were his girlfriend.
And that changed everything.
Sunghoon’s mom immediately pulled you into a warm hug the second she saw you.
“Finally!” she gushed, squeezing you tight. “I was wondering when you two would come to your senses.”
You blinked, surprised. “You… knew?”
She pulled back, raising an eyebrow. “Sweetheart, we’ve all known. Sunghoon’s had ‘I’m in love with my best friend’ written all over his face for years.”
Sunghoon groaned from beside you. “Mom.”
She simply patted his cheek. “Oh, hush. Just be grateful she put up with you long enough to date you.”
You laughed, feeling way more at ease than you expected. Sunghoon’s dad, though much quieter than his mom, gave you an approving nod. “Good to have you officially in the family, Y/N.”
The words made your chest warm.
Then, just when you thought you had survived the introduction, Sunghoon’s sister waltzed into the room.
She took one look at you two standing close together and smirked. “I knew it.”
Sunghoon sighed. “Not you too.”
“Of course me too.” She crossed her arms, looking smug. “You’re the worst at hiding things, Hoon.”
He scoffed. “That’s not true.”
You snorted. “Babe, you held up a giant penguin plushie to the cameras after your last competition. You weren’t exactly subtle.”
His sister cackled. “Oh my god, wait—that was from Y/N? That makes it even funnier.”
Sunghoon groaned, running a hand down his face while you and his family lost it.
Despite your nerves, the night turned out to be easy, warm, and full of laughter.
And when Sunghoon walked you home later, lacing his fingers through yours, he murmured“I told you they’d love you.”
And you smiled, squeezing his hand.
“Yeah. But I kinda love you more.”
Sunghoon flushed, his ears tinged pink. “Yeah, well. I guess that’s fair.”
And then, in the soft glow of the streetlights, he leaned in and kissed you officially yours, officially his.
Senior year was supposed to be stressful, with exams, college applications, and the looming uncertainty of the future.
But with Sunghoon by your side?
It felt easier.
It had been almost a year since he officially introduced you as his girlfriend, and while not much had changed in your day-to-day lives, there was an undeniable shift in the way he looked at you, held you, and treated you.
You weren’t just his best friend anymore.
You were his person.
Despite his packed training schedule, Sunghoon always made time for you—especially during late-night skate sessions when the rink was empty.
“You’re not balancing right,” he murmured, standing behind you with his hands on your waist.
You huffed, wobbling on your skates. “Maybe I’d balance better if someone wasn’t breathing down my neck.”
He chuckled. “Fine, princess. Try it on your own then.”
You regretted it instantly.
The second he let go, you yelped as your feet slipped out from under you- only for Sunghoon to effortlessly catch you before you could hit the ice.
You clung to him, heart racing. “I almost died.”
He rolled his eyes, amusement dancing in his gaze. “Dramatic.”
Then, with a smirk, he scooped you up bridal-style and skated across the rink with ease.
You gasped, laughing as you clung to him. “Put me down, Hoon!”
He only tightened his hold. “Nah. You like being carried, don’t lie.”
You buried your face in his chest, both of you grinning like idiots.
Neither of you were huge on school dances, but somehow, Sunghoon ended up asking you to homecoming in the most Sunghoon way possible.
With a giant penguin plushie and a note that read: Be my date? Or do I need to land a triple axel first?
You had laughed so hard before tackling him into a hug and saying yes.
That night, with his hand resting firmly on your waist as you slow danced under the dim lights, he whispered—
“I think I wanna do this forever, you know? You and me.”
Your heart stuttered.
And when he walked you home, when he pressed you against your front door and kissed you like he never wanted to stop, you believed him.
College acceptances came in. Decisions had to be made. Sunghoon’s skating career was only getting bigger.
One night, as you both lay on the hood of his car, staring at the stars, you whispered—
“What if we end up in different places?”
Sunghoon turned his head toward you, his brows furrowing.
“What do you mean?”
You bit your lip. “You’re getting offers from international skating programs. What if you have to move? What if we—”
He cut you off, lacing his fingers through yours.
“We’ll figure it out.” His voice was steady, certain. “You’re not getting rid of me that easily, princess.”
Tears burned your eyes, but you smiled, squeezing his hand.
“Promise?”
Sunghoon shifted closer, pressing his forehead against yours.
“Promise.”
And in that moment, under the endless sky, you knew—
No matter where life took you, you would always find your way back to each other.
The day of graduation was supposed to be bittersweet.
For years, high school had been your constant. Late-night study sessions, spontaneous dates at the ice rink, stolen kisses in empty hallways it was all about to become a memory.
And the biggest change of all? Sunghoon was leaving.
He had accepted an offer to train overseas, an opportunity he couldn’t pass up. You were unbelievably proud of him, but that didn’t make the idea of being apart any easier.
Yet, when you spotted him standing in his graduation gown, holding a penguin plushie just for you, he still looked at you like you were his entire world.
“Why do you look like you’re gonna cry?” he teased, handing you the plushie.
You sniffed dramatically. “Because my boyfriend is abandoning me.”
Sunghoon rolled his eyes but softened when he saw the real emotion in your gaze.
He reached out, gently tucking a strand of hair behind your ear. “Hey,” he murmured. “I’m not abandoning you.”
Your throat tightened. “Then why does it feel like you are?”
Sunghoon sighed, shifting closer. “Because it sucks,” he admitted. “But you know what sucks more?”
You looked up at him, waiting.
“Not having you in my life at all.”
His voice was quiet, but firm.
“We’re gonna make this work, Y/N. No matter how hard it gets.”
You swallowed, trying to keep your tears at bay. “What if we change? What if—”
Sunghoon cut you off with a kiss, slow and deep, filled with every unspoken promise.
When he pulled back, he rested his forehead against yours.
“Then we change together.”
And right there, in the middle of the chaos of graduation, surrounded by families and friends, you believed him.
Because this wasn’t just a high school romance.
This was you and Sunghoon.
And no amount of distance was going to change that.
The airport was too cold, too loud, too unforgiving.
Sunghoon’s flight was in less than an hour, and no matter how tightly you held onto him, time refused to slow down.
Your fingers curled around the sleeve of his hoodie, the one you had stolen more times than you could count. It smelled like him like fresh laundry and the faintest hint of his cologne.
“You’re really leaving,” you whispered, voice barely audible over the announcements echoing through the terminal.
Sunghoon sighed, his hands tightening around yours. “Not forever, Y/N.”
You tried to smile, but it felt weak. “Feels like it.”
His jaw clenched, and for the first time, you saw the cracks in his usual composure. He was always the steady one, the one who reassured you. But now?
Now, he looked just as lost as you felt.
“You could come with me,” he blurted suddenly.
Your eyes widened. “Hoon—”
“I know you have school, but maybe—maybe you can transfer later, or—” He exhaled sharply, running a frustrated hand through his hair. “I just don’t want to do this without you.”
Tears pricked at your eyes. “I don’t want to do this without you either.”
But you both knew the reality. You had your own dreams, just like he had his.
You reached up, cupping his face. “Hey,” you murmured, brushing your thumb over his cheek. “We’ll figure it out. We always do.”
Sunghoon swallowed hard. “What if you get tired of waiting for me?”
Your heart ached at the vulnerability in his voice.
Instead of answering, you reached into your bag and pulled out a matching penguin keychain the one you had gotten for both of you. You clipped it onto his backpack.
“Every time you see this,” you said softly, “just remember, I’m waiting.”
Something in his expression broke.
And before you could react, he pulled you into him, kissing you like it was the last time he ever would.
Like he needed to memorize the way you felt, the way you tasted, the way your hands trembled against his chest.
When he finally pulled away, his forehead pressed against yours.
“I love you.”
Tears spilled down your cheeks. “I love you too.”
The final boarding call rang overhead.
Sunghoon exhaled shakily before pressing one last lingering kiss to your forehead. Then, with one last look, he picked up his bag and the plushie you had given him all those years ago.
Your breath hitched when you realized. He brought it with him.
“You’re taking it?” your voice cracked.
He glanced at the worn-out penguin plushie, the first one you ever threw onto the rink for him when you were kids. The same one he never let go of.
“Of course,” he said softly, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
And with that, he turned toward the gate.
You watched him go, your heart splitting in two.
But in your pocket, your fingers curled around your own matching keychain.
And you knew—this wasn’t the end.
Being in a long-distance relationship with Sunghoon wasn’t easy.
Some days, it felt like the distance didn’t matter you stayed up late on video calls, watched movies together from different time zones, and sent each other photos of things that reminded you of one another. Other days, it felt unbearable missed calls, canceled plans, and the aching loneliness of not being able to hold him when you needed to.
But through it all, one thing never changed: you loved him.
Falling Asleep on Calls
“You’re tired, Hoon,” you murmured, watching as he struggled to keep his eyes open on your late-night video call.
“M’not,” he slurred, blinking sluggishly. “Just wanna see you a little longer.”
You smiled, heart swelling. “I’ll still be here tomorrow, dummy.”
He hummed, the sound drowsy but content. “Yeah, but I miss you now.”
A few minutes later, his slow breathing filled the call. You stayed for a while, watching his peaceful expression through the screen before whispering, “I miss you too.”
Surprise Deliveries
Sunghoon wasn’t always the best with words, but he had his own way of showing you he cared.
One day, after a particularly rough week, you received a package at your doorstep. Inside was a stuffed penguin (because he knew you missed hugging him), your favorite snacks, and a handwritten letter.
“I know I can’t be there to make things better, but I hope this makes you smile. Keep being strong for us, okay? I love you.” – Hoon.”
You hugged the plushie close, already feeling a little better.
Watching His Competitions Online
You never missed a single one of his competitions, no matter what time zone he was in. You stayed up at ridiculous hours, cheering at your laptop screen and throwing a small plushie at it “for good luck” just like you used to at the rink.
After his performance, you’d always get a call.
“Did you see me land that jump?” he’d ask, breathless and excited.
“Saw it? I screamed so loud I think my neighbors hate me now,” you’d joke, making him laugh.
“I wish you were here,” he’d admit softly.
“Me too,” you’d whisper back.
The Missed Date Night (Virtual)
“You forgot, didn’t you?” your voice was quiet, but Sunghoon could hear the hurt in it.
He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Y/N, I didn’t forget, I just—training ran late, and I was exhausted—”
“You could’ve at least texted,” you cut in, frustration bubbling.
“I know, I’m sorry.”
Silence stretched between you.
“It’s just hard sometimes, Hoon,” you admitted, voice cracking. “I don’t need much, but I need to feel like I still matter.”
His heart sank. “You do. You always do.”
That night, he stayed up with you, making it up to you by talking for hours, promising he’d do better.
The Jealousy Fight
“So who’s that guy always commenting on your posts?” Sunghoon asked one night, his tone sharp despite his effort to sound casual.
You blinked. “What?”
“You know who I’m talking about. That guy from your class. He’s always—”
You scoffed, crossing your arms. “Sunghoon, are you serious? He’s just a friend.”
“Does he know that?”
Your patience snapped. “Are you really doubting me right now?”
He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “No, I just—”
“Just what, Hoon? Because it sounds a lot like you don’t trust me.”
Silence.
He exhaled shakily. “I trust you. I just… Baby I hate not being there with you.”
Your expression softened. “I hate it too.”
After a moment, he sighed. “I’m sorry. I just miss you, that’s all.”
You smiled slightly. “I miss you too, dummy. But next time, talk to me instead of getting jealous over nothing, okay?”
Long-distance wasn’t perfect.
There were lonely nights and frustrating misunderstandings, but there were also love-filled calls, thoughtful surprises, and unwavering promises.
And no matter how hard it got, you both knew one thing
It was worth it.
Sunghoon’s birthday had always been special to you.
For years, you had spent it together whether it was a simple dinner, skating at the rink, or even just staying in and watching movies. But this year was different. This year, he was half a world away, and the only thing you could do was send a video call and a package.
Or so he thought.
Because this year, you had a different plan.
The cold December air bit at your skin as you stepped out of the airport, your heart pounding with excitement and nerves. You clutched the wrapped gift tightly in your hands a present you had picked out months ago, waiting for the perfect moment to give it to him.
With the help of his coach (and a little sneaky planning), you found out where he would be that evening. A small gathering, nothing too big—just his close friends and teammates.
And you were about to be the best surprise of the night.
Sunghoon was mid-conversation, holding a cup of hot chocolate in one hand when he froze.
His sharp eyes landed on the figure standing at the entrance.
His mind stuttered. His grip on the cup slipped.
“No way,” he whispered.
Before he could even process it fully, you grinned and that was all it took for him to come back to life.
“Surprise, birthday boy!” you called out, holding up the gift.
For a second, no one moved. Then, in the next heartbeat
Sunghoon crossed the room in three long strides, grabbed your face, and kissed you.
The cheers and whistles from his friends faded into the background as he pulled you so tightly against him, like he was afraid you’d disappear.
“You’re really here?” he murmured, forehead pressed against yours.
You laughed, cupping his cold cheeks. “I am. Happy birthday, Hoon.”
He exhaled shakily, eyes shining. “Best birthday ever.”
Later that night, after the celebrations settled, the two of you sat by his window, watching the snow fall over the city.
“Okay, now open this,” you said, handing him the gift.
He unwrapped it carefully, his brows furrowing until he finally saw what it was—
A hoodie. A matching one, just like the penguin sweaters you gave him years ago. But this time, it had both your initials embroidered on the sleeve.
“So you don’t forget me while you’re here,” you teased, nudging him.
Sunghoon chuckled, but then his expression softened.
“I could never forget you.”
He set the hoodie aside and instead pulled you into his arms, burying his face in your shoulder.
“You have no idea how much I missed you.”
You smiled, running your fingers through his hair. “I do. Because I missed you just as much.”
And for the first time in months, the distance between you was finally gone.
Sunghoon was still holding onto you like he was afraid you’d vanish when you pulled back slightly, a teasing smile playing on your lips.
“I have one more surprise for you,” you murmured.
He raised an eyebrow, tilting his head. “Another one? What could possibly top you showing up out of nowhere?”
You bit your lip, dragging out the moment for dramatic effect before whispering, “I’m staying for a month.”
Silence.
His brain short-circuited.
“You’re—” he started, but his voice cracked, so he swallowed and tried again. “You’re staying? For a whole month?”
You nodded, beaming. “Merry early Christmas?”
For the first time, Park Sunghoon, the composed and effortlessly cool figure skater, was completely and utterly speechless.
And then—
“You’re dead.”
Before you could react, he tackled you onto the couch, wrapping you up in the tightest hug imaginable. You yelped, laughing as he buried his face into your neck, his arms locked around you like a vice.
“Sunghoon, I can’t breathe—”
“Good. Maybe then you’ll know how I felt all these months.” His voice was muffled, but you could hear the smile in it.
Eventually, he pulled back just enough to cup your face, studying you like he still couldn’t believe you were real. His thumb brushed over your cheek before he whispered, “You’re really staying?”
You nodded again, softer this time. “Yeah. I missed you too much.”
His lips curled into a smirk. “You’re obsessed with me, huh?”
You rolled your eyes, shoving his shoulder. “Shut up.”
But Sunghoon just laughed, happier than he had been in months.
“Best birthday ever.”

hello!! could i request how the sdv bachelors would react to finding out the farmer has a big plushy collection they have to share a bed with? :3
Yeah :3
Thank you for your ask, dear anon! Enjoy 💕
_________________________________________
Alex:
Alex doesn't remember any toys except for his shabby grid ball (thanks to abusive dad who drank all the money). His mom bought this ball and played with him whenever she was free. Good times... He was grateful even for that old ball and mom's care.
So he's a little unaccustomed among all Farmer's plushies. It's so... unusual.
But the way Farmer sweetly hugs their plushie, immediately melted the athlete's heart, though there was a residue of sadness about his childhood.
Which, however, doesn't stop him from teasing his partner/spouse a little.
"Hehehe, honey, are you still sleeping with your toys?" *Sincerely envies them, but won't admit it out loud*
*And won't admit a photo of him snuggled up with some of their plushies* ("Farmer, you betrayed me!" "Heh.." 💕).
Sam:
Oh, Sammy used to sleep with a lot of plushies, too. He grew out of them then, though, and gave many of the toys to Vincent... He still have some plushies.
"Whoa, I remember that bunny! Mom gave me one just like it, only mine was black. And I won an alpaca just like this one at a fair about eight years ago." Memories, aaaaa!
Totally doesn't mind sleeping with Farmer surrounded by plushies. Even uses some as a pillow (Farmer doesn't mind).
Although he accidentally drops half of the plush toys on the floor (headcanon that Sam is active even while asleep).
Farmer doesn't give snuggles? Sam pretends to be offended and hugs their teddy bunny, showing Farmer "what they're missing" (they give in and give Sam more snuggles before farm work).
Sebastian:
The photo of Sebastian, dressed in all black, lying stone-faced among a dozen pink plush bunnies, became an iconic meme all over the Stardew Valley. Heck, this meme became popular throughout the Ferngill Republic. He became an internet star, hee hee...
Sebastian's actually pretty chill about Farmer's plushies, to be honest. Even thinks it's a very cute quirk of his partner.
Especially since Farmer has plush frogs in his collection! 🐸 Sebastian also has a plush frog, don't ask why, but he can show Farmer too if they want to see.
The local emo is now sure of what gift is sure to make Farmer happy.
With one look, he'll scare whoever somehow finds out about Farmer's collection and teases them. Especially if it is a frog plushie.
Elliott:
Oh my, Farmer's got a huge collection of stuffed animals. They must have been collecting for a long time. And the condition of the plushies is very well preserved - you can tell they've been cared for.
Elliott was interested to hear about where and how Farmer got these plushies. Maybe each of plushies has a story behind them.
He's a little dubious about sleeping with plushies, though, because there are a lot of them. Like, a LOT. So much so that the writer didn't see his favourite person under the pile of plush.
So Farmer will only have to take some of it to bed with him (hopefully the others won't take offence).
Elliott is literally that "Ah yes, me, my spouse, and their huge collection of soft toys." meme. As it is, he doesn't mind at all.
Harvey:
That's pretty adorable. Although Harvey wonders to Farmer, do they really sleep with those plushies every day? Because it might not be very comfortable. Plus he's worried about his their uncomfortable sleeping position, and...
Ah, excuse him. Harvey can't take his doctor's hat off, even in a farm house.
He's a little uncomfortable sleeping with Farmer surrounded by all those toys, after all.
One time Harvey nearly had a heart attack because a huge plush bunny's face was staring at him in his sleep (without glasses, the doctor thought it was a monster).
But also sometimes, when he comes back from a hard day's work at the clinic, he's tired and falls right into a pile of toys. Yoba, they're so soft.
Shane:
"Here we go, Shane. These are my plushies." "Our plushies." "Huh?" Shane lay down on the bed, and the stuffed animals plopped down in a slide on top of him. "Our plushies."
Who would have thought Shane would be taken in by such a Farmer's quirk. He'd never looked so relaxed.
Embarrassed? Why would he? Nobody should give a shit that Farmer still has a collection of cuddly plushies. Farmer shouldn't give a shit about other people's opinions either.
Although Shane had virtually no toys as a child (as in, no normal childhood), he was often surrounded by teddy bears, foxes and other animals (because he was a frequent guest at Jas's tea parties).
Chicken man thinks it's sweet that Farmer still sleeps and talks to stuffed toys. So yeah, no problem with that.

DP x DC: Dick's Totally Normal Date?
Inspired by that one juju sanpo where Yuuji thought Megumi was being hit on and he, Nobara, and Gojo pull out their ridiculous Formation B to drive away the potential date. And I thought, 'this, but batfam, but veer wildly to the left, with DP'. So here you go.
Third floor study, Wayne Manor
"Thank you all coming on such short notice", Tim said, eyes serious, one hand on the pile of documents on the table.
His siblings nodded at him, faces grave, except for Duke who just looked confused.
"I'm sure all of you already know why this meeting was called-
"I don't actually know why we are here", Duke interrupted.
He was thoroughly ignored.
-and are just waiting for confirmation. But the wait is now over. I have here the results."
His siblings all leaned forward, except for Cass who was too chill for that, apprehension radiating through their frames. Though Duke was more confused than apprehensive.
Tim sighed. "It's true. Dick is dating."
Gasps ran through the group.
Tim dropped the bigger bomb. "And its not a redhead."
Jason cursed as he leaned back in his chair, face directed at the ceiling exasperatedly. Steph brought a fist down on the table, shaking her head. Cass simply placed an elbow on arm of her chair, chin supported by the back of her hand. Damian just scoffed.
Duke looked at all of them still trying to see what the issue was and why they were even here doing this. Tired of being out of the loop the young man decided to just go ahead and bite the bullet.
"Question!", he began,"Why is Dick dating someone a problem?"
They all stared at him.
Jason raised an eyebrow. "Dude, he dated a witch king that tried to make us all into creepy dolls just a year and a half ago. The bastard almost turned everyone in Gotham into literal hamster plushies when they broke up."
"His immediate rebound after that relationship was the alien that tried to hunt him for sport", Steph contributed helpfully.
Jason waved an arm towards her while looking Duke, as if asking him why he wasn't getting the point.
And Duke...really wasn't getting the point. In fact he seemed to be getting even more confused.
"Dick's a habitual monsterfucker, old news, so what? And it isn't as if every single one of you haven't had some kind of romantic relationship with non-humans before. Even Damian's dated Jon! Besides Heira did not turn us all into hamsters. That was a joke. Aaaand Ga-va'se is a great guy and he definitely wasn't a rebound. Also he and Dick broke up really amicably and they still meet up for boba and he gives us really cool alien shit so I don't know why you guys don't like him."
"Duke, Ga-va'se hunted us for sport", Tim said from the side.
"That was because we were in his hunting grounds! Plus he apologized for that!", Duke defended his alien buddy. The guy was really nice! What was their hang up with him? Sure he was a bit murderous but hey, Duke dared his siblings to find one person from each of their social circles who wasn't a bit murderous and insane. Sure he hunted them for the better part of five days in a terrifying alien jungle a galaxy away from home but that was honestly their fault for intruding on the hunting grounds of his people in the first place. Plus it was all a misunderstanding!
"I agree with Thomas", Damian said as he thumbed through the files Tim had distributed among them. Across from him Cass was doing the same thing, rapidly turning the pages. "Partially at least. The Yautja was a worthy candidate for Grayson's hand-
"You just like him because he got you that sword, Demon Spawn", Jason drawled in that assholish tone of his that never failed to incense Damian.
-Shut it Todd! Ahem. As I was saying Ga-va'se was worthy but Heira was an imbecile. Unfortunately there are more Heiras in Grayson's romantic history than Ga-va'ses so it would be prudent for all of us to remain vigilant", the youngest member of the Wayne family finished, closing the file decidedly. "Especially if his current choice isn't a redhead."
Duke had to ask. "Again whats up with the hair colour thing?"
Tim looked at Steph pointedly. "Officer Stephanie Brown please proceed with orientation."
A truly terrifying grin bloomed on Steph's face. She stood up from her chair and walked to the wall, pulling down a projector screen. A click of a button and it came alive, with what looked like an honest to god power-point presentation on Dick's dating life. Tim slid Duke an brochure of all things.
"Dick's choice of romantic partners can be classified into three categories", she began as if she was a lecturer. She was even wearing glasses. "Redheads, which everyone and their third aunt's weird dog knows about, morally ambiguous older men, and extremely dangerous non-humans. There are outliers of course, and overlaps, but generally he tends to keep his choices confined to these groups. Turn to page 3 please."
Duke dutifully turned to page 3, which looked like it contained profiles of the various people Dick's dated in the past. If it was any other family this would be a gross invasion of privacy.
"Exhibit A- Barbara Gordon, great taste, mostly downhill from here I'm afraid. Exhibit B-Slade Wilson aka The Terminator, no I'm not kidding, the entire thing is weird and toxic. And Exhibit C-the weird eldritch thing Dick dated two years ago who I'm pretty sure is Cthulhu's actual cousin who made us all taste colours for a week straight."
"Deathstroke?", Duke exclaimed, weirded out.
Jason raised an eyebrow. "Thats who bothered you? Not Cthulhu's cousin?"
Duke huffed. "Their name is Umh'uidrritl and I know where to draw the line."
Tim side-eyed him. "On a whiteboard with an old marker maybe."
"Hey!"
"Back to my very important power-point that no one else is going to interrupt-",Steph said as she glowered at them, "-mapping Dick's dating history shows us that the more volatile of his partners tend to cause trouble post-breakup. A deeper investigation would reveal that while his harem of redheads mainly just stir up delicious, juicy drama, hot tea and angst all around baby, bless their souls, his harem of morally ambiguous older men, and harem of extremely dangerous non-human entities tend to lean towards more destructive reactions. While the former is content with kidnapping and threatening and the assorted standard yandere meltdowns-
"Yandere?", Damian murmured.
Jason just snorted.
-the latter likes to cause damage on a larger scale". The blonde gestured with a flourish and a new slide popped up.
"Exhibit A- That time Gotham almost got gobbled up like a light snack by that space whale pet of the Ryagonian emperor. Exhibit B- That time a Fairy Queen tried to spirit Dick away and almost put the entire city into an enchanted coma, which was honestly kinda festive, I'd never been more well rested. Exhibit C- That entire thing with the tentacles that we are all better off without revisiting."
Everybody in the room blanched at that last one. Duke nodded his head at their reactions. The ink really was hard to get off of clothes.
The screen went dark and she pulled the cord at the bottom, the projector screen rolling up. The blonde turned to them with a smug and satisfied expression on her face.
"In conclusion, despite there being no biological connection between them, and the fact that romantic and sexual preferences are not genetically inherited, Dick has managed to acquire Bruce's proclivity for an interesting dating life, which we all did if we're being honest. Its just that while Bruce dates across the law, Dick dates across realms and his romantic entanglements often happen to be so above our pay grade that its ridiculous. Data has shown that redheads cause the least amount of property damage so whenever he dates non-redheads, we have to keep an eye on the tea-I mean an eye on the situation."
She sat back in her chair with a satisfied air. "Questions?"
"Yes", Tim said miserably. "Did you have to bring Bruce into this? Like ew."
"I had to, yeah!", Steph replied cheerily. "You stole my croissant alienfucker!"
"Excuse you the alien fucks me thank you very much!"
Jason almost gagged. "TMI Timbo TMI!"
Duke frantically gestured at Damian. "Damian's right here!"
The boy in question just looked supremely unimpressed. "I was raised by assassins Thomas."
"Where's Cass?", asked Steph, munching on a packet of chips she produced from somewhere.
"Left this clown fest to assist Pennyworth in drugging father so that he can actually rest."
"Ah", said the whole room. Each one individually resolving to go to Bruce's room and get blackmail pics later. Sibling solidarity at its finest.
"Back to the matter at hand", said Tim, "Dick dating a possibly dangerous entity even remotely around the time frame when the Joker turned up dead is a red flag. And that's why our secret society is meeting today."
"Okay one, you think Dick's new boyfriend offed Joker? Two, this is a secret society?", asked Duke, his earlier confusion now fully evolving into resignation.
"I already filled out your documentation."
"What?"
"Don't worry. Everything's in order."
"Thats not...you know what? Thanks Tim."
"You're welcome!"
Steph chortled at the entire exchange and almost choked on her chips. Karma.
Jason leaned back with his hands behind his head.
"You know, if this guy merked the clown, and has no evil plans or something...I'm all for him actually. Guy has my vote. If they get married I might even decide not to embarrass Dickie at the wedding", he said while Steph hacked up a lung in the background.
"Be that as it may Todd, we still need to monitor the situation. If this Daniel did have anything to do with the Joker's death, then he is a dangerous individual who could pose a threat to Grayson", remarked the young Robin, and then as an add-on, "...and Gotham."
Duke sighed. There really was no escaping this was there? "So what do we have on the guy?", he asked Tim.
"Page 4. Name-Daniel Nightingale, prefers to be called Dan. Father, Vladimir Masters. Mother, Daniella Nightingale. Sister, Danielle Nightingale. Brother and sister are apparently vacationing-
"In Gotham?!, Duke asked horrified.
-and Dan met Dick during a Halloween Party in Bludhaven-
"In Bludhaven?!", Steph asked appalled.
"Why was a supposedly vacationing wealthy European in Bludhaven for Halloween?", Jason asked with a frown.
"European?!", Damian asked scandalized.
-And they hit it right off. As of now, they have been dating for five months and the relationship looks to be going strong. While the records seem legitimate, something's off about them. Also the Joker turned up dead on Valentine's Day. So my verdict...sus."
There was a bout of thoughtful silence.
Then.
"Daniella, Daniel, and Danielle? What the fuck? What are they? Clones?" asked an incredulous Jason, aghast at the unoriginality.
Duke scrutinized the provided photos closely. "Whoa, this Master's guy's genes really stood no chance! They all really could be clones for real."
Steph whistled. "He ripped!"
They stared at her. She sipped her boba unrepentantly.
"What? I'm right! He ripped!"
She was indeed right. He was ripped.
Duke put the file down. "So what's the plan? Do we just follow him around till we find out what he is or something?"
"Okay so the next week Gotham's got a week long 'Joker is Dead' carnival planned-
"Another one?", Damian asked surprised.
"We deserve it", both Jason and Steph reply vehemently.
-and Dick said Dan's taking him to the fair every single day of the celebration. If everything goes according to plan, we can sneak our way into the organizers, stall owners, ride operators whatnot and do some tests to figure Daniel Nightingale out. And if he's normal trouble we prepare for the breakup meltdown. If he's a different sort of trouble we deal with it."
"We gotta be careful though". Steph obnoxiously slurped her boba. "Or else Dick will deal with us."
They all shuddered in fear. Dick Grayson could be a mean bitch when it came to revenge.
"We'll just have to execute it well. Thomas will be adequate for the job. The rest of you fools will just have to step up, especially you Drake", Damian said as he crossed his arms across his chest, nose up imperiously.
The two robins, red and regular, sneered at each other.
Jason 'hmpfed'. "Sounds good enough. If that's it I'm gonna go. I got shit to do". He stood up from his chair and stretched, a symphony of cracking sounds coming from his spine. "Shit I'm old."
"You're just gonna re-watch Pride and Prejudice 2005 again". Tim also stood up, even more concerning popping sounds coming from his spine.
"Damn right I am", said the crime lord as he ambled out of the room.
Steph also got out of her chair and started collecting her trash, Alfred would kill he if she didn't. "I'm all in on this plan Timtam! Clown's dead, Gotham's finally calmed down, I went to bed early...No way I'm letting some ripped Adonis mess with my peace and quiet no matter how mouthwateringly swole he is! And he is swole!" With that she also swept out of the room.
"I'll update Cass!", she shouted from the corridor.
Damian had already disappeared. This left Tim and Duke alone in the room. When Tim also made to leave, Duke finally managed to break through the disbelieving fugue this entire meeting had pulled him under.
"So where's the plan Tim?"
"Oh", said the sleep deprived vigilante, already halfway out the door, "I emailed it you already."
And then there was one.
Duke just stood there processing that last sentence for a long two minutes. He sighed.
"So this meeting could've been an email."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dick is rather adventurous in his dating life. Helen of Troy vibes.
The entire operation reveals nothing suspicious. According to all the tests known to man and bat kind, Daniel 'I prefer Dan' Nightingale is a completely normal member of the Homo sapiens species. Not even a metagene. Just generously swole.
Duke being half immortal doesn't really get his siblings' reservations against some of Dick's exes. He doesn't realize that beings like Umh'uidrritl, who was not Cthulhu's cousin but a distant relative by the way, give most people incomprehensible nightmares. He on the other hand thought that Umh'uidrritl and his pet colossal hydrothermal squid were perfectly lovely. Though he and Damian high-key root for their Yautja friend.
There is absolutely no romantic relationship between Vlad and Danny. Dan and Danielle are just little shits who just love the horrified expression that overtakes Danny's face every time he sees their IDs for vacation time. To be clear its the Vlad part that horrifies him, he rocks as Daniella. Vlad, who is reformed here, is also horrified at this. Which is why the two little shits do it. Also the DP characters are all aged up. Could be by a few years, could be by millennia. They haven't deigned to reveal that to me.
Bruce spend the entire week under Alfred's careful supervision, getting rest and relaxation. He had spa days with Clark and Diana. He slept ten hours. He felt energetic in the morning. He hummed a cheerful tune. It was disgusting. He remained blissfully unaware of his eldest son's latest romantic adventure. Good for him.
Alfred thinks Ga-va'se was a splendid young man and that Umh'uidrritl was a lovely partner. He just wishes Master Dick would stop dragging in ruffians like that ill-mannered Heira every now and then. Truly a son of Master Bruce that one. What about that wonderful demon boy from a few years ago Master Dick? Mezarel was it? Oh he was sealed away, was he? Well bat your eyelashes at that man Constantine you and Master Bruce keep around and try to get that boy back will you? Such a well mannered young devil he was!
Alfred becomes that mother-in-law that never truly accepts Dan completely, still holding out hope for Mezarel to make a comeback. I've heard harems are wonderful this time of year Master Dick. A second husband would do you some good!
Dan finds this hilarious. His family does as well. Alfred also likes Dan. They have a weird understanding.
Cass likes most of Dick's exes. Except for Heira. Everybody hates Heira. Although Duke kinda likes him but even sunshine boy has his limits.
Yes the bat-siblings are doing this only for the safety of Gotham, not to also low-key annoy their big brother at all.
Yes Dan and Dick were aware of the hi-jinks.
Yes Cass did think they should just ask Dick.
Yes Dick is aware of who and what Dan is. He met him at a supernatural Samhain gala he literally stumbled into. He just rolled with it, celebrating the end of the harvest with the decidedly non-human revelers, and not only ate the food there but also drunk flirt with Dan.
Dan said, 'You're stupid. I like that in a human' and saved him from being stolen away by some very interested entities. It was the start of a beautiful relationship. Dani sometimes calls them the 'tits and ass duo' and she's right.
Danny is just happy that Dan found someone he loves and could keep up with him. He almost felt like a proud mother at their wedding and then had an existential crisis about it.
The family does find out Dan's real identity. It was after Dick accepted his proposal and it was hilarious. Jason meets Jazz at the wedding. He thinks he got infected with Dick's redhead fetish.
Yes this is all for my Dick/Dan propaganda. I hope you're not immune.

Tumblr media
I'm replying to these two messages, this one took a lot of work Thank you for liking my content, I worked hard on part 2 (3864 Words ) Again remembering that my English is not the best, it is not my original language ;P
Your requests are an order!
(angst, fluff at the end, Gabriel is still the worst person, Félix already knowing things without you needing to say it, Marinete and Adrien dating, season 5 spoiler)

Tumblr media
Once upon a time...
There was an elegant house with noble people They lived rich, rich in black hearts At the top of that mansion, there was a room, a room with a window, a window with a marvelous view, but it belonged to a lifeless room, a room where a person who loved too much was imprisoned, you, Oh, poor girl, she saw from her window everyone else being free, while she stayed and lamented not being good enough for her beloved, who is far away and with whom you can no longer converse, And all because her father is concerned about her status, so concerned that he didn't think twice before imprisoning his daughter, like Rapunzel in her tower.
"—And how is she doing?" Nino asked as he placed his hand on Adrien's shoulder, who was approaching the circle of friends.
—My father still says she's sick, and she doesn't seem to leave her room when I'm around," Adrien said, sighing sadly as he remembered how, after the events and Luka's trip, she was practically "isolated" in her room, which according to her father, claims she's too ill to leave. This raised suspicions among some friends, especially Marinette and Ayla.
"But we haven't seen her in a week!" Rose said, hugging Juleka, causing Adrien to sigh.
"I know, but from what my father told me, she got sick during one of the rehearsals and now needs to rest, especially because he doesn't want me to get sick too."
Now, this seemed even more suspicious to her friends. Marinette looked at her phone, seeing her friend's list of unanswered calls. She then glanced at Adrien, noticing how he seemed a bit down, and approached him. Despite her feelings for him, she placed her hand on his shoulder, making him look at her.
"Don't worry, I'm sure she'll be fine," Adrien smiled at her, while everyone else agreed, not wanting to make the situation sadder."Have you tried calling her?" Ayla suggested, looking at her friend Marinette, who was frantically using her phone as if trying desperately to get in touch with you."No, my father told me she dropped her phone in one of the fountains while landing, and that's why she got sick"Something is definitely wrong.
Meanwhile, you were locked in your room, unable to leave your eternal "punishment," still not understanding why things were this way. You realized that your father was making you feel lonely again as you looked around the messy room. You got up from the bed and looked under it, spotting a decorated and locked box. Pulling it out, you removed a key that was attached to your necklace, along with another one that Luka had given you in the past. You used the key to unlock the box, and you smiled upon seeing the various items it held—a small Viperion plushie that Luka had won and gifted you during one of your encounters, numerous song lyrics, and a few other objects given by your friends, the ones your father hadn't confiscated.
You realized how much you resembled your past self, feeling empty, lonely, and above all, with no one to talk to or confide in. You closed the box and locked it again, tucking the key inside your shirt as you climbed back onto the bed. You clutched your blouse and felt the other necklace Luka had given you, hearing the door open behind you without even looking back.
"Your father told you that you will return to modeling again, and this time he expects you to comply," Nathalie said as she fiddled with her tablet."By the way, your dinner will be delivered to your room again. I hope you eat this time," Nathalie turned to leave without waiting for your response, closing the door behind her, and you could hear the door being locked. You sighed sadly, then walked over to the window, looking out at the landscape that thankfully hadn't been taken from you. You gazed at the distant Eiffel Tower and the starry night that adorned its background, thinking about how beautiful the night was despite being alone in your locked room. You prayed that Luka was okay.
"I've already talked to Luka about the situation," Juleka said as she joined her group of friends. Marinette, being the great planner she was, was trying everything to make things calmer. "He told me to send his regards to her and that as soon as she can, she should call him."
"I still find this very strange!" Marinette said as she got up from the sofa in her room and started pacing in circles. "I mean, after Luka's sudden departure, a few days later, Adrien says that (name) is sick? There's something wrong here."
"Look, this time I even agree, but it could also be true. Don't you guys remember it rained last week? And do you remember the photo in the magazine that day, right? It's clearly (name) in the rain posing, so obviously, she would get sick!" Ayla said as she tried to ease the situation.
"Yes, true, I saw it!" Rose said while standing beside Juleka, making her nod in agreement too.
"But still!" Marinette said before a hand was placed on her shoulder, making her look back to see her friend Ayla.
"Look, that's enough, Marinette. I think you should put this aside, especially since you have a date with Adrien tomorrow."
"Yes, that's true!" the girls said, making their friend Marinette blush, while she tried to speak but gave up.
Meanwhile, (name) put on her fakest smile as she continued to pose at certain locations. "Yes, perfect! Very good!" the photographer exclaimed as he continued taking photos, with you striking every pose and wearing a cute outfit. Finally, the photo shoot was over. "Break time," he said, and you sat down, your smile fading, returning to your sad expression. You spotted Nathalie approaching with her tablet.
"You're doing well, because of that, you can choose what you'd like to eat," she said, looking at her tablet without leaving your side.
"I-I think... I'd like some (your preferred food) from Dupain-Cheng Bakery, please," you said, looking at the ground before turning to Nathalie.
Nathalie gave you a quizzical look before sighing and going to her driver, who then got into the car. Nathalie returned to your side, looking at her tablet and tapping away. You let out a tired sigh, sitting down, swinging your legs and looking around to try to pass the eternal boring time. In the meantime, you glanced up at the blue sky, watching the birds fly by and catching a glimpse of a red and black blur streaking across the sky, heading somewhere. "Here you go, eat while you still have time," Nathalie said as her bodyguard and driver handed her the Dupain-Cheng Bakery bag containing the food you had requested.
"Thank you..." you said in a low tone, almost like a whisper, looking at the school and smelling the sweet scent of the bakery where your friend lived.
"Tomorrow is the Diamond Ball, so after your session today, we'll take you to the studio to order your dress. Your father wants you to look good," you only nodded, listening to Nathalie go over your schedule.
Since you returned to modeling, your father refused to let you be alone, so you were always accompanied by Nathalie, who, although she seemed fine, you couldn't help but glance at the equipment on her legs, wondering if something had happened to her.
"Come on, show me a look of comfort! A look of longing, as if you were reminiscing about seeing these flowers!" the photographer said as he asked you to hold a bouquet of red roses, sitting on a picnic blanket with flowers all around. "Not like that!" he said, looking at your expression. "Show more emotion! A little happiness! See how beautiful these flowers are!" he pointed at the bouquet. Looking at the bouquet, you saw a blue dragonfly land on a rose, and a faint memory of a garden you went to with Luka came back to your mind, making you miss him. You gave a small smile as you buried your face in the roses, inhaling their sweet and fragrant scent, smiling at the memory of the day he asked you out.
"Yes! Perfect! Very good! Keep going!"
"Would you like any roses? A ribbon or some colorful embellishment?" asked the seamstress as she took your measurements. "No need for color, just white will do. The outfit Mr. Agreste designed only requires adjustments elsewhere," Nathalie replied as she tapped on her tablet. You watched as the seamstress took your measurements to add to the dress. And of course, you were also looking at the shoes, which your father had also designed, but for some reason, he wanted everything to be perfect.
"Welcome, Mrs. Agreste," the guard said as he allowed you and your father to pass. Your gaze remained melancholic, though not enough for anyone to notice that you were sad; it simply showed that you didn't want to be there, which clearly you had no choice in. Sitting on a sofa, you waited and watched everyone there enjoy themselves, not letting on as some tried to talk to you or somehow get your attention. All you did was divert your gaze until you reached the soft white couch.
"You look sad, did something happen?" a voice asked, and you looked to see what appeared to be your brother."Hello to you too, Félix," you said as you closed your eyes and leaned back on the couch."You always know how to identify me no matter what," he said, almost laughing if he didn't see your tired expression. He approached and sat beside you."What happened? You're usually more lively," he said as he looked at you, prompting you to release a tired sigh.
"My father..." Félix sighed with his words, but before he could say anything more, looking at Gabriel in the distance, a voice came to your rescue.
"Hello, (name)!" You opened your eyes, seeing Kagami. You blinked as she sat down on your other side, and you straightened up. It had been a while since you talked to any of your friends."You haven't been to school anymore. I heard you were sick. Are you feeling better now?" You looked away, glancing at Gabriel in the distance, almost choking."Yeah, of course, I was kind of, you know, sick... you know, now I'm better!" You said, not wanting to know what kind of lie Gabriel had told Adrien for him to be able to tell the others like this.
Before Kagami could ask another question or say anything else, you suddenly got up.
"You know, I'm going to grab a drink or something to eat, be right back!" you said as you almost ran away. You didn't want to talk about anything, but what could you say? Tell them that your father didn't approve of relationships and that he had put you on indefinite punishment for lying, running away, and breaking the one rule he gave you? How could you talk about this situation?
Near the food area, you grabbed some sweets to try to occupy your thoughts and emotions. As you looked at the dance floor, you saw your cousin, who resembled your brother, dancing with someone. Not wanting to say anything, you simply ignored it.
You entered the bathroom after eating some sweets and looked in the mirror, observing your well-groomed and elegant figure, your perfectly done hair, and your fancy dress. This wasn't you. The only thing you saw that truly belonged to you was your necklace, which you had hidden under the dress. Pulling it out, you looked lovingly at your reflection in the mirror, seeing the necklace that Luka had given you.
"Luka..." You never stopped loving him, even though your father had locked you in your room. You never stopped missing him. Crouching in the bathroom while looking at your necklace, you caressed it, hoping that someday you would find him again.
"Adrien!" you heard someone shout, looking out of the plane window. You saw Marinette running towards the airplane stairs with Adrien following behind.
Ah yes, it seems you weren't the only one with a forbidden affair. You watched Marinette and Adrien kiss before the bodyguards separated them. A wave of déjà vu came over you when you saw this scene, which felt so familiar. You saw Adrien being dragged onto the plane and placed in his seat, looking out the window while crying.
You averted your gaze and saw the plane starting to move to take off. You lay down, holding your blouse and feeling the necklace underneath it. You prayed and wished that you could find Luka.
"This will be your room," Nathalie showed you the hotel room. You saw that the view was nice, but it wasn't anything special. It was just another room where you would be confined. You leaned on the balcony railing, looking at the horizon and feeling the wind tussle your hair.
"It's only for a few days..." you commented, resigning yourself to the situation, holding the necklace that Luka had given you once again. You sighed with sadness.
"Can I stay in the park for a while, please?" you asked your bodyguard, who was currently looking after you while you posed for photos since Nathalie had fallen ill and couldn't make it. You looked at him, waiting for a response, and he saw the sadness and emptiness in your eyes, so he nodded in sympathy. You smiled weakly as you hugged your bodyguard. "Thank you..." He just patted your head and pointed to a bakery nearby, and you nodded. He would be in the bakery while you stayed in the park.
You watched your bodyguard's back disappear as he entered the bakery, and you smiled as you sat on the park bench, feeling a sense of freedom being away from supervision. However, a sad sigh still hung on your face, as if you were feeling trapped.
"A smile suits you better," you choked when you heard someone speaking, a familiar voice. Looking at the owner of the voice, you couldn't believe what you were seeing.
"Luka..." you said softly in a whisper, getting up from the bench. Your hands trembled. The boy with blue-tipped hair smiled as he approached slowly. He was nervous, hoping it wasn't a dream. He hugged you when he was close enough, burying his head in your neck.
"I missed you so much!" he said as you returned the hug, feeling the tears you had held back for so long, also feeling the boy's tears staining your clothes.
"Luka!"
"You didn't call me anymore, I had no sign from you. I thought something had happened. But then Juleka told me you had gotten sick, but that's not true, is it?" Luka looked at you, asking for confirmation, but all you did was bite your lip and turn your face away. "Why are you hiding, love?" Luka asked as he placed his hand on your cheek, caressing it.
"I..." You didn't want to talk. You didn't want to burden Luka. He wasn't at fault. You didn't want to speak; all you wanted was to be with him now.
"Please, (name), you can tell me," he said as he hugged you, stroking your hair.
"It was him, wasn't it?" You lifted your gaze to Luka before turning away again.
"I won't force you if you don't want to..."
"Someone told my father about our relationship. He doesn't accept the fact that I'm dating someone who isn't 'famous' or a friend of my father's. He took away all my technology so I couldn't talk to you or our friends. He thinks me leaving was a terrible idea. I'm sorry..."
"It's not your fault... it never was..." Luka placed his hands on both your shoulders.
"B-but! It was my fault. I didn't follow my responsibilities; I was careless, and I couldn't talk to you either... It's my fault... I just... my father, he just...!" Suddenly, an irritated expression crossed Luka's face.
"It doesn't matter!" You looked shocked at the boy as he wiped away your tears and put on a gentle smile.
"No matter what your father says or what the media wants, you've made me the happiest boy on the planet, and I've missed you so much since we were apart. You keep being the song that plays in my mind. I don't care if others see; I love you, (name)!" With that, Luka put his hand on your cheek, pulling your face closer to his, and finally kissed you. Not a peck or just any kiss—it was a kiss of love, one that showed how much you both loved each other. Amid that romantic moment, several people stopped to look at both of you.
"(Name) Agreste, Adrien Agreste's twin sister and Gabriel Agreste's daughter, kissing a boy in a public park." That's what people thought as they passed through the park, and some took photos.
"I love you, (name)," Luka said as he rested his forehead against yours.
"I love you too, Luka..."
"It seems that it wasn't enough," Mrs. Tsurugi commented as she listened to the latest news report that Gabriel was speaking in.
"Your children are being disobedient, unlike my daughter. Yours are out of control," Gabriel groaned in frustration as he looked at the screen, seeing the photo someone had posted. The photo itself wasn't particularly striking, just a girl taking a selfie with you and Luka kissing in the background. Similar photos like this ended up in some local newspapers, especially in the fashion industry, which only added to Gabriel's irritation. As if it wasn't enough to have to punish you, Adrien followed suit, and now just when it seemed like you were behaving, you go and kiss some random boy...
"It's not working... I think I'll have to proceed with the plan," Gabriel said as he looked at another screen, watching the cameras showing you, Adrien, and Kagami lying in white beds in a room that resembled a sanitarium.
"Let's begin..."
"(Name)!" Luka called out, running to you. You looked at him sadly, and he stopped, now concerned, as you turned.
"(Name), my love, what happened?" He placed a hand on your shoulder, seeing your back.
"Let's break up..." The boy's expression was shocked when he looked at you.
"What do you mean, (name)?" He seemed to want it to be a lie, hoping it was a lie. You had met again just a few days ago, and now you wanted to break up. Didn't you love him?
"(Name)?" You pulled away from the boy.
"Let's break up! I don't want to see you anymore!"
"(Name), if you can explain to me what's wrong, I'm sure we can find a way..." he said, trying to hold onto some hope.
"I don't like you, Luka. Why can't you understand that? I don't want this anymore!" You said angrily to the boy, who looked at you with sadness. He tried to reach out to you, but you simply pulled away until another random boy appeared, taking you away, leaving Luka shocked.
"(Name)....?"
Upon waking up, Luka realized it was just a dream. He brought his hand to his face, wiping away the tears, and sighed, feeling his heart calm down. He reached for his phone, checked the time, and saw his wallpaper—a happy photo of both him and you. He smiled, knowing it was just a nightmare, and that as much as it seemed real, it wasn't. You loved each other too much for something like that to happen.
He held onto the necklace you had given him on his birthday and looked at the ring on his finger—a ring that symbolized your relationship.
That is until...
"Bring back Adrien and Kagami!" Luka didn't know what had happened, but suddenly, everyone started getting akumatized. He knew it had something to do with the nightmare he had because his father and the secretary had reported having extremely heavy nightmares and couldn't stop thinking about them.
"Let's go! We need you!" Bunnix said, opening a portal for them to pass through.
"Thank you, Luka," you said as you leaned against him, watching your friends having fun in the pool at your house. You couldn't remember anything, and all Luka remembered was that suddenly, while fighting to break the akumatized rings, there was an explosion in the sky, and then he woke up, noticing you beside him. He wished it wasn't a dream now, and that you could be together. The look Marinette gave him was enough for him to know that you were now by his side, to stay.
"I should be the one thanking you," you looked at him confused, while he chuckled and gently kissed your lips, leaving both of your faces blushing and happy. "I'm lucky to be dating an amazing girl like you, (name)!"
"I love you, (name)!"
"I love you more, Luka!"
Applause came from some friends who were nearby, watching as you kissed again, but this time, it was to confirm something you both already knew— that you loved each other.
It took me 2 days to finish!!! And I finally finished!!!! Amen! I hope you liked it, if you want I can do another part :)

Izumi Mitsuki: He was a bit nervous about it, but Tamaki told us that you three worked really hard together to get that stuffed plushie, so he was really happy and wanted to stick it everywhere!

Izumi Mitsuki: more exciting lolol thank you!!
Iori smiles when he looks at the picture in the fridge, so I’m truly happy!
Isumi Haruka: Is that so
Isumi Haruka: Yotsuba said he's gonna be fine, but there were times when I wondered if I was pushing him too hard. I'm glad!
Momo: Mitsuki,,,,, I think I'm going to cry,,,,,,
Izumi Mitsuki: Me too,,,,, the big bro in me is so happy,,,,,
Isumi Haruka: p-please don't cry!!

Isumi Haruka: I wanna take a picture with a pose that only three people can pull off! What do you think 😳
Izumi Mitsuki: Sounds good! I think we should pose like we did in Rabbimini, right?
Isumi Haruka: Maybe we could clasp our hands together in front of our chests and strike a kung fu pose? Like what we did at the start of Rabbimini! 🙏
Izumi Mitsuki: That's a good idea! I practiced a lot while watching videos! 😆
Momo: You could doodle something cute like ramen, that’d be adorable!! 😆💕
Isumi Haruka: I'll draw a panda too 🐼

Izumi Mitsuki: I’ll rabbitchat you when we get there! 😆

Isumi Haruka: I'm happy, but I think Izumi and Yotsuba will get jealous lol 🫣 🫣
Momo: I was serious about it, Harukacchi…!!
Izumi Mitsuki: They’ll definitely be jealous, so I’m gonna spoil them by making their favorite things before and after the outing 🥹 I'm sure both of them will understand that it’s to celebrate your hard work at the shooting!
Isumi Harukai: Um, just to be clear, please be careful not to stand out! Yotsuba told me that when Momo-san came the other day, the whole school was talking about it!
Momo: no way...!! I'm gonna park a little further away from the school so I won’t bother anyone.
Izumi Mitsuki: Let's put on a disguise so that we don't stand out!
Momo:
Tumblr media
Izumi Mitsuki:
Tumblr media
Isumi Haruka: I'm getting really excited for some reason..!
Momo: I'm glad! After the shoot, let's go to the arcade together when we’re less busy >u< I like that one game! The one where you kill zombies!
Isumi Haruka: Isn’t it great?
Isumi Haruka: I compete with Yotsuba in the high score board, so I'm good at it!
Momo: Huh that’s cool!! Haruka can really do anything >u<
Isumi Haruka: Hehehe
Mitsuki-san, is there something you’d like to do if we go together?
Izumi Mitsuki: Ah! Then, the crane game! I know a guy who’s gonna be over the moon if he gets a Kokona-chan or something 😆 you'll have to teach me all the tricks!
Isumi Haruka: Yes!! I'll take care of it 🙌
Momo: Then Mitsuki, give me tips on how to draw a colander ;P✨
Izumi Mitsuki: I don’t think there are any tricks to that lololol i’ll think about it lolol
Isumi Haruka: lolololol
In the original text, Haruka sends a casual text to the group chat, then corrects his tone by adding “ですか” (desu ka) in a separate message. Momo and mitsuki tease him about it by sending casual messages then following it up with “ですか”. This kind of polite speech doesn’t exist in English, so this was the closest way to convey the OG conversation’s tone
This is another joke that can’t be properly conveyed in English without further context, Momo and Mitsuki start adding “や” (ya) at the end of their messages which is a form of speech under a style called “yakuwarigo”, used in manga/anime (amongst other forms of media) to indicate age. The “ya” in this case is added to elderly characters’ speech, hence why I chose to add the “ol’ man” so that Haruka’s comment makes sense.

Today's (4/11/2025) Episode: Winterfest Family Fun
When they finally made it to the Winterfest meal at her folks place, Elyse made a beeline for her new baby brother’s bassinet.
“Oh my grim, look at you!” she cried, scooping him into her arms. The doctor will tell us how I can get pregnant and have one just like you she thought as she snuggled the newborn close, breathing in his sweet baby scent and allowing herself to daydream about her own future newborn.
Nearby, Skye was chatting with the “new” mother. “Moses is such a pretty name” xe said, “where’d you come up with it?”
“It was Rhys’s idea actually” Isra gestured to her spouse who was deep in conversation about that week’s university E-Sports upset with Luigi on the other side of the room “our deal was always that I got to name the girls, and he got to name the boys. We’re finally even!”
As Isra led Elyse to the nursery Skye took xir turn, calming xir sibling by singing along to the holiday tune playing softly in the background.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When it came time to start dinner Noemi gently shooed her child away from the fridge “we’ve got this” she promised “go have some fun. You never get the chance to go diving anymore, maybe put that underwater camera you got after you and your dad completed therapy to good use?”
Skye nodded, heading out to enjoy some deep-sea fun with the other young sims while the elders relaxed and prepared the feast inside.
The couple were grateful they’d been tight lipped about their family plans given their struggles, but in xir excitement Skye had spilled the beans to xir mother early on. Noemi knew it would be good for xem to get out of the house and engage in a little fun to take xir mind off their troubles.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“I filmed a promo for the company that makes these nifty holiday crackers just after Harvestfest” Luigi explained as he handed everyone a colorful paper cylinder before dinner. “They’ve been around for ages, but sims tend to forget they exist. They’re pretty cool. Now, let’s get crackin’!”
The group wasted no time busting open their prizes, delighting in the sweet candy and cool plushies they discovered inside.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Skye made sure to grab a photo of the assembled crowd as dinner wound down. Everyone stood, prepared to exchange gifts, when none other than Father Winter himself came climbing up out of the water to join the festivities!
Luigi gave the other sim a hard stare as he emerged onto the patio, but the jolly old elf assured him “Peace, Lawbourne! I came to make amends.”
He proved his good intent by delivering thoughtful gifts to everyone in the household, and Luigi shook his hand warmly. “I appreciate you reaching out like this. It gives an old sim hope for the true meaning of Winterfest. Thanks for visiting us, and a very merry holiday to you, my man.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After their surprise visitor departed, the family opened the gifts that they had brought for each other, enjoying the quality time together immensely.
At the end of a wonderful evening of family fun Skye hugged xir parents, wished xir in-laws the best of luck with xir new bundle of joy, and headed back home for one last tiny celebration of the night, just among the residents of the old homestead.
“Its perfect!” Skye exclaimed after unveiling the bracelet Elyse had made and having the usefulness of the crystal embedded in the metal explained to xem. “I’m so glad you like it” she smiled, heading out back to place it and her engagement ring on the charging grid sitting on the back porch.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As xe got ready for bed Skye smiled recalling all the lovely memories from the festive day surrounded by, and bringing joy to, their loved ones.
That’s what its all about xe thought to xemselves. Xe kissed xir wife gently before sliding under the covers and drifting off to sleep with a smile on xir face and hope in xir heart that after their visit to the fertility specialist their little family would soon be expanding.

Post GBA's Magic of the Heart headcanons.
When Zed told Mirrin the whole thing, that was for Mirrin a green light for teasing for letting the oportunity on a silver plate to kiss the Guardian go. He laughted so much about his own jokes without a care of the pain on his battle injuries.
The Guardian kept the Archangel plushie for the memento of the date with Zed.
Among the baggage the evil couple took with them to their new land of residence, there are all the sharp objects they used and will still use in case any weird visit shows up.
Makkaro and Giene made an honorary grave for Frank on their new backyard.
The Piscis family found a way to use the news of Makkaro's downfall for their political gain. Those statements on the newspaper were received with lots of cursing words in 3 different locations (Mirrin at his place: the f"/$ did you even do you good-for-nothing snobs! Zed somewhere: what is this? that's not how it happened! How could you even use the Guardian's name here in vain you.... you.... uhm... freaks! Gienne: YOU F+#&ING LYING BASTARDS!!! F+·& YOUR FACES! F+#& YOUR STUPID DYNASTY!! Makkaro: (just stares at Gienne with a mix of awe and shock as the swearing goes on for long minutes)).
Zed has now mixed feelings whenever he finds himself close of any graveyard because it reminds him of Makkaro's undead and their master as well. So he is reminded of plenty of traumatic skeleton attacks but also a necromancer he chewed up and then set loose an angry god to.
Gienne has no kill count, but that could change now that she's one of the main deffenses of the house.
Zed takes breaks from traveling either for family visiting or because Mirrin has invited him to watch wingball matches. Mirrin has a break of his duties this way and now he has a friend to go with.
Gienne has threatened her husband with slip a sleeping drug on his food if he ever overworks again, which he secretly is grateful for since those make you sleep with no dreams and the memories start to catch up and now he can't vent those with violence...
Frank would haunt the couple anytime they have a fight. Mak would be trying to sleep in the couch and then he hears echoes of "I told you", "that's rough, buddy" or even laugh is it was something he considers funny. Also would haunt them randomly XD.
Zed accidentally found the Aethewards having a date on a restaurant and since none could pretend they didn't see each other they had to kidnapp Zed since Gienne knows he's awful lying to his memories about their location. It took time because Makkaro had to teach Gienne how to cast the spell, to the point Zed had an akward "visit" at their house for days and they had lots of catch up. (Zed: you know, it's weird, but it's still good to see you again, Kindra. Gienne: thank you, Zed, that is so nice, but we're still erasing your memories. Zed: ow.)

Dear fellow adhders:
It is okay to sleep among the pile of clothes you left on your bed because your brain was done with putting away laundry after you put away everything leading up to that.
The dirty dishes surrounding and resting in the sink are well to be there. You needn't wash any of them until you need a specific dish, at which only wash what you need to use immediately. Or, simply eat off a paper towel or wax paper or drink straight from the container in the fridge. If dishes are developing mold, let them be; they can be cleaned when you are mentally ready to clean them.
If there is an unpleasant smell and you can't clean to attend to it, use a good-smelly to ease your mind, and clean when you are ready (good-smellies i.e. lighting candles or incense to make the room smell nice, spraying fragrances on your clothing or comfort plushies so you are not traipsing or cuddling perturbed).
Caffeine is your friend, and utilize sugar for dopamine.
If autism is comorbid, engage in your special interests liberally to be infused with the joy and energy that dopamine you get from it brings regularly. Playlists of special interest songs/songs pertaining to/reminding you of your special interests are a passive boon that boosts spirits and energy. Place illustrations/pictures/etc. reminders of your special interests around your home so when your distractible mind ganders, you get a boost of dopamine.
Above all other things in life, focus on dopamine maintenance. Our brains have a natural deficiency in dopamine generation compared to neurotypical brains, so we must meet their baseline first before doing the things they do without issue. Truly, dopamine is the key. Getting that need met allows all the rest to fall into place -- not in a neurotypical way, but in an adhd (/audhd) way. Our lives won't be the same as neurotypical lives. Why should we compare our lives to theirs? Why should we feel externally-imposed shame for how we lead our lives? We shouldn't. We should never.
Point of this post is, shame has no place in adhd lives. We can carry out our existences in peace in our messy surroundings. Dishes remaining by the sink, with some washed and others not. Unswept floors, cat hair accumulating in corners. Laundry increasing in height in the basket. Stepping over a paper that is to be thrown away only when we are ready. A zen life in an abode neurotypicals would judge negatively and make demands of.
Our homes are not to be demanded of, realms of peace they are.
Sincerely, an audhd man who is making it on his own and leading a relatively peaceful and stable life, thanks to honoring his brain's natural ways and orchestrating his life within that innate framework rather than one alien constructed and placed before him. Shedding the judgments cast down by others in his past. It's a work in progress, unlearning the forced shame that causes us to feel distressed and useless (when we are not!) but I am close.
Don't try to lead a neurotypical life. Lead a YOU life.
We must all relearn peace for ourselves.
Attain peace, and freedom from neurotypical judgment, and pursue the dopamine like your life depends on it.

What does everyone think of Saves?
Oren: "He's a pretty chill old man, dude. There was this one time, though, where he saw me skating and wanted to try it out. I was like 'yo Grandpa Saves, I don't think you can handle that bro.' And he's all like, 'oh no I'll be fine,'  and then he like...fell off. Like, badly, bro. He had to stay in bed for days. I gotta give him credit for the determination though, man."
Raddy: "He overestimates himself sometimes. He won't listen when we tell him he can't do somethin'. He also calls me Reddy, or whatever kind of other name he comes up with. I tried to correct him before, but then I eventually just gave up."
Clukr: "His deteriorating memory is certainly an issue of concern- in fact, he’s part of the 4% of elderly Sprunkies that have it. Medications that I had professionals prescribe to him have stopped working eventually. It is worrisome to say the least…”
Fun Bot: “I’ve heard from Simon that Mr. Saves used to be able to dance pretty well! I don’t believe he can do it anymore, though. He seems like he forgot the moves.”
Vineria: “I have a bad feeling about him. His aura…feels wrong.”
Gray: "He's nice. I help him at home. He needs the extra paws."
Brud: "Is me friend! He give funny cuppa to me. Me eat! Delicus."
Garnold: “Clukr keeps tryna fix his memory loss. At this point, I don’t think anyone can. Besides, even if he forgets things a lot more often now, he’s still Saves, isn’t he? He’s got a lot of love in him, that’s what matters.”
OWAKCX: "H- H- He is...k- kind! Hoohoo-! And h- he doesn't get mad- e- even if I- aha- e- even if I m-mess up and a- accidentally bump i- into him- AAAAAH!! I'M STILL SORRY!!"
Sky: "He's a cool old man. He gets my name wrong a lot, but that's cause of how old he is. I guess that's a part of growing up. I...don't like the idea of forgetting my friends and family members' names though."
Mr. Sun: "Ah yes, our beloved Collector! Always cherishing the simplest things! Back then, though, he was more of an adventurer, who kept souvenirs from his travels! I suppose he needs his rest now, though."
Durple: "Oh, yes, the antique majesty of this town! He was already here when me and my beloved bestie had just moved in. He's quite a pleasure to be with! We’d look through his old gallery of photos and, well, most of them are rather faded to visual obscurity so I can’t quite tell what they were—but there are some that retain their clarity! I didn’t know until then that he had the most luscious brown hair! Oh, if only I was there during that time period to style it well! His current aged hair is rather thin and hard to work with without damaging. The best I can do is comb it. Oh well.”
Mr. Tree: "We don't speak to each other very much, but we bask in peaceful silence together. It's therapeutic for the both of us. There are also times when I would hear him in his own home, talking to himself…I have made it my duty to keep such self-conversations confidential.”
Simon: "He is the bestest, awesome-est, coolest grandpa in the whole entire Sprunki world!! Boy, I've known him since he still had orange hair on his head instead of lavender! And back when he didn't forget as much! He would tell me cool stories, like how he met all kinds of people and went to all kinds of places! He's so AWESOME!! I'll always love him like he was my actual grandpa!"
Tunner: "We met 'fore I became Sheriff. He was quite the old geezer, even then. High in spirit, findin' the simplest joys in life. That collection of his used to be more vibrant, y'know? But as he aged, so did th' stuff in it. One of 'em's a gift I gave 'im as thanks for supportin' my journey into becomin' th' town sheirff. T'was a star plushie. The small kind that you can hold in yer paw. He loved it. Still does, even if he doesn't remember that I gave it to 'im."
Mr. Fun Computer: “I’ve only met him a couple of times in person. Understandable, since he’s said to live in a small house among the trees. Whenever we do meet in person, he wouldn’t know how to operate me. Which is fine, because I guide him every time! He seems nice.”
Wenda: "Oh! He's pretty nice, y'know. Like, typical nice old man. He likes listening to my tea and like, sometimes he does these really funny reactions. I can see why Gray likes him and all that."
Pinki: "He’s very sweet! Whenever I visit him, he always prepares a cup of tea for me. The sweet kind, too! It’s a weird thing how he forgets my name a lot, and yet still knows how I like my tea. The brain works wonders, as they say! Heehee~! It’s no wonder he’s the town’s grandpa!”
Jevin: "The grandfather clock that ticks quite slow, his memories tend to come and go. Above him looms not a sense of incoming doom; he lets not his day be filled with gloom. His mind is fractured yet his heart remains strong, though I am not certain for how long..."
Black: "Must I be honest...? Sigh. Well. I'll admit it. I like Saves. He's the first Sprunki I remember meeting in Smalltowne. He wasn't afraid of me. We talk often. I might as well live in his house too, since I regularly visit him. He's...a dear friend to me. Actually...when I came to Smalltowne, I didn't remember my name. I only had vague recollections of what my life was like before coming here. Saves was the one who named me. Mr. Black. It stuck, I guess. Even if I knew my birth name, though...I'll always cherish the name Mr. Black. It feels special...he's special. I can't thank him enough for being so...lenient and patient with me. And in turn, I try to be patient to him too. We both have our struggles with fading memories. I'm just glad I don't have to deal with it all alone."
Ciqu: "Law-abiding. I hold no strong opinions against him."
Sprinkles: “I love him so much! I mean, he’s my adoptive grandpapa, how could I not? He might not remember things sometimes, and he does sometimes get my name wrong, but honestly? I can’t complain. I think being his little Sparkle is wonderful! He’s the only parent I’ve ever known, he says he got me when I was a baby. He gave me this star necklace of mine, which is from his collection of super cool stuff! It’s a full-on treasure trove! I wouldn’t trade him for any other parent in the world.”
Calvin: “He’s a pretty nice guy. I mean, he is Sprinkles’ legal guardian and he takes care of her. He forgets stuff a lot though. But I guess he can’t help that. He’s a good guy to talk to if you feel like you need to share something on your mind. And about his collecting habit, I wonder if he has any ninja weapons in that collection of his…”

Jilypad Week 2024 - Day 6
Everyone Assumes (that they're together) (and they are correct)
[AO3]
It's a quiet morning at Potter Manor. Harry sits in his high chair at the kitchen table, his little hands holding onto his stuffed deer plushy as he opens his mouth wide for the spoon full of baby food that James lets zoom around his face before making it land in Harry's mouth like a Quaffle in a Quidditch hoop. Sirius makes coffee at the kitchen counter. Lily yawns and opens the window to let the owl in that delivers their Daily Prophet.
She pays the owl and lets it back out before closing the window again against the morning chill outside. She takes up the Prophet and unrolls it, looks at the title page and pauses. “Oh, come on.”
“Did we make front page again?” James asks, making zoomy noises for the next spoon full of baby food for Harry's entertainment.
“Yes,” Lily sighs and walks over to Sirius who hands her a cup of coffee. She smiles at him gratefully before her eyes go back to the newspaper. “The Secrets of the Hollow Three.”
“Hate that name, by the way,” James mumbles and gets another spoon full of food into Harry's mouth.
“Why no one has seen them in weeks. More on page five.”
“We were page three worthy only last week,” James tells Harry, who giggles as James pulls a face for him. “Remember that, Harry. You can save the entire wizarding world and they will forget about you in seconds. Just not enough to leave you alone. It's strange, really.”
“It's stupid. I wish they would just forget about our existence and not make up shit to fill their pages,” Sirius grumbles as he stirs his coffee.
“Oh, that's our own fault, apparently,” Lily says, who has flipped to page five. “No one has seen the Hollow Three in weeks. Not since the downfall of You-Know-Who on a fateful night we all remember.” Lily frowns at the article. “Yes, thank you, I remember so well I still can't sleep.”
Sirius leans over and presses a kiss into her hair. Lily sighs and continues.
“They can not be reached for any comment - “
“Which just means the wards around the Manor are holding,” James interrupts with a grin.
“ - which makes one wonder if they have something to hide. No one knows what exactly happened that Halloween night in Godric's Hollow, even weeks after the event. What we do know is that all three of our supposed heroes are holed up together in James Potter's former childhood home. All three of them, not just the happily married couple among them, which makes one wonder.”
“Wonder what exactly?” James asks while Harry chomps down on another spoonful of baby food. “If one of us is really Voldemort on Polyjuice? If we're hiding him in the closet?”
“James Potter and Sirius Black have been described by sources to be very close. Inseparable, really. Sharing everything. One wonders if that indeed means everything,” Lily continues on.
Sirius gins around the rim of his mug. “Oh, it's not old Voldemort they wonder about being in the closet.”
“I love how they make this implication and then turn around and run the other way with the story,” Lily says and takes a sip of her coffee. “Even if it's very predictable.” She clears her throat and continues reading.
“No one has seen Harry Potter, James and Lily Potter's small son, in a long time. Is this why they really hide away behind thick walls and wards, now that so many eyes are on them? Would one look at the little boy reveal more about what is going on behind the facade of a happy family than they would like the people to know?”
“Of course it would. He's clearly the spitting image of me,” Sirius deadpans, looking at Harry and his wild hair, so much like James'.
James bursts out laughing, the sound making Harry squeal as well. He spits his baby food halfway cross the little table attached to his high chair, some of it landing on James' shirt.
“Oh, don't worry, in case Harry does look like James they have another theory about why that might be,” Lily says with a shake of her head. “Just listen to this. Let us not forget that Lily Potter is supposedly a gifted witch in potion making. One as her could find ways to cover up a sordid affair with the Heir of the House of Black if needed.”
“A sordid affair, hm?” Sirius grins and bumps his shoulder against Lily's.
“Right under the nose of a celebrated war hero too.” Lily turns her head and with a grin kisses Sirius before returning to her newspaper. “How dare us.”
“And let us please not forget about the whole Heir of the House of Black situation. Important information why it's not surprising I would betray James' trust. So scandalous.” Sirius hums and takes another sip of his coffee. “But can we really be blamed? It's so easy to do things right under his nose with his bad eyesight.”
“Hey,” James protests and leans over to poke Sirius between the rips with the broom-shaped end of Harry's spoon. Sirius catches his hand with a grin and leans over to kiss him too.
“Don't be mad, love. You know it's true.”
James huffs against his lips but pulls him closer for another kiss. Harry squeals and waves his little arms around, making his stuffed deer falls from his high chair onto the floor.
Sirius pulls back from the kiss and bends down to retrieve Harry's favourite toy of the moment.
“Pada!” Harry says happily with a wide grin as he takes the deer back from him and hugs it tight. Sirius smiles at the boy and ruffles his soft baby hair, making Harry giggle. He tries to catch Sirius' fingers with one hand, the other still holding on to the plush toy, and when he finally grabs them he's holding on tight, babbling at Sirius, who listens to the small boy and nods along.
“Yeah, you're absolutely right, Harry.”
James watches them with a fond smile.
Lily takes a sip of her coffee and hides her own smile in the mug. For someone who was so sure he's not good with children and would be a horrible parent he's doing pretty well.
Setting her mug down briefly on the counter Lily flips to the last page of the Daily Prophet and rips out the crossword puzzle for Sirius to do later. She closes the newspaper after that, folds it up tight and tosses it into the bin next to the kitchen counter. Wrapping her fingers back around her mug she walks over to the table and sits down at it with her little family.
There are better ways for her to spend the morning than with a stupid article full of scandalous nonsense written by someone called Rita Skeeter. But she has to say she likes living in a world where things like that makes front page news, wild as they are, rather than one full of death and destruction.
Lily sips her morning coffee as she watches James get the rest of the breakfast into Harry's mouth. She's warm in her dressing gown, she's happy. It's a good morning.
And then a sudden thought occurs to her.
She's more than a week late for her period.

CAN I GET A STAN X FEM!READER JUST LIKE- FLUFF KISSING SCENE??? THANK YOU BYE BYE HAVE A GREAT DAY
Tumblr media Tumblr media
「 bedroom 」
stan x reader older ver.
cw; fluff
note; I said I was gonna do yours when I opened my request so here it is :33
Hand-made heart shaped gum wrappers lay scattered across the untidy bedroom floor. Among them, a nail polish bottle had tipped over, its deep hue bleeding onto the wrappers. The pungent scent of the polish filled the room, saturating the air with its strong aroma.
The distinctive scent wafted outside through the slightly opened window, carried away by the crisp, cool air. As the chilly breeze slipped into the room, it mixed with the lingering fragrance and created a refreshing breeze.
Dirty clothes pilled on a small chair and in some spaces of the room, awaiting to be picked up and set in its rightful place.
Though it never would happen.
Two teens laid on a bed together near close to one another. Obviously to 'busy' to deal with the mess that lay amongst them.
The ravenette teen propped his elbow up on the bed to show more interest in the conversation he was listening to. He stared carefully and with adornment, ever so often his eyes darting elsewhere when you looked back at him.
"That's why I haven't been at school."
"Ohh."
"Yeah." You set your hands on your stomach after you finished, looking up at your blank white ceiling in silence. You sighed softly your hand raising to set aside some loose hair behind your ear. Stan sat up and leaned himself on the wall, looking around your room.
Messy as always.
If you actually cleaned it he would sorta be concerned, he's so used to the various clothing all over the place along with bras covering some of your plushies that laid on the ground.
His eyes traveled to the pictures of you and him at the photo booth, it stuck on the wall with some paper drawn hearts around it.
He found himself smiling at it, reminiscing to that day.
He looked back at you to mess with your hair.
"You know I missed you, stop skipping.. especially cause I'm not there to do it with you." He argued, his tone soft and a bit sad. You slipped out a laugh sitting up.
"Sorry I'll try not to."
"Good."
"Buuuuuut–"
"No" He put a finger to your lips, shaking his head with a serious look. You moved his finger out of your face, sighing dramatically.
"Fineee." You smiled teasingly.
You scooted towards him to peck his cheek. His cheeks redden with a warm love sick smile when you pulled away. He rubbed his cheek, looking at you.
"Can you do that again?" You nodded with a shy blush, leaning in once again to peck his cheek. Though your lips wouldn't be in contact with his cheek but with his own.
He held your chin his way to make you kiss him, he smiled to himself when you hit him playfully kissing back.
The playful kiss soon turned into a sweet passionate slow one, his hand was now on your cheek behind some hair as yours played with his gray old torn shirt feeling the odd texture wrapping around your finger with every twist.
The atmosphere was light and quiet in your messy room, nothing could ruin this moment.
You two crashed on the bed together still kissing and hands all over each another.
Stan couldn't take his lips off yours from missing them to much from your absence.
The smile on his face when he kissed you made your stomach flutter just causing you to smile back, pulling away quickly for a giggle then kissing him back.
"I love you so much." Your lips disconnected from the kiss, blurting out what you were dying to say of course still smiling. Stan's pupils grew wide from love and shock.
He even felt a weird familiar burning sensation in his throat when trying to answer back.
"I.. love you too." He swallowed down the firey liquid in his esophagus, muttering those words to you with a nervous smile. You couldn't help but laugh at him, putting your hand over your mouth.
"Why do you always swallow hard when you-"
"Shut up! It's just I get nervous by you." Stan brought his hand to his face to cover in embarrassment. You snickered some more before it all came to a quiet end, you tugged on the blanket to cover up the two of you some more.
"you're so cute." You hugged his shoulder, closing your eyes.
He sighed, removing his hand away from his flushed face to look at you clinging to his shoulder.
He kissed the top of your head, turning his body.
He held you close to him underneath the blanket.
"You sleepy now?" He whispered, twirling a strain of your hair. You nodded, your eyes getting heavy.
"me too."
"napp timee." You shuffled into him more.
"I have to leave soon though so a quick nap okay babe?"
"awh, no stayy." You complained, hugging tightly. Stan closed his eyes, laughing faintly.
"kyle is my ride and you know how he is.." Stan whispered, his voice starting to go in and out from tiredness.
You just hummed, feeling the same way.
"wish I had a.. car."
"Imagine.."
"You don't even have a car yet you idiot."
"ahh.. sleep now.."

A difficult time calming him down? Sonic thats an understatment. While Kafka isn't exactly in Rito Mode just yet, he is a active danger like this and the officers who came to the scene notice pretty darn quickly that if they made any move to go near Reno and Iharu, they had one very pissed of kaiju himbo ready to tear them limb from limb. Kafka hasn't lost full control yet to Rito Mode, but lets just say his mind is another place thats just making things worse and Tiny is having a hard time calming the himbo down. Tiny is bascially the one who holds the restrians here and makes sure Kafka don't do something he would regret.
Though luckly for them all, specially Reno and Iharu as they badly needs medical attention, both Mina and Jun is here for the rescue and managed to lure Kafka away and calm him down within the next hour or so. Unfortunatly for Kafka, his own combat armour that Okonogi and the members of the Third made for him works against him later on. See, there are cameras build inside so Okonogi can see what happens around Kafka and guide him when it is needed. The cameras are special made too, as Kafka has a smaller but similare effect that 9 use to hide away from the cameras and radars.
Those things got everything. From what 9 did to Reno and Iharu, and almost turned them into Ninth Kaijus, to how Kafka almost got into Riot Mode. Now in some ways this is a good thing, they know now who is responsible for those awful kaijus since they are pretty sure the Mirage Company no longer exsist anymore(very right about that).
Second they also aware of some of 9's abilities and other things they did in canon. On the other hand? Kafka is in deep trouble. This leads us to the Isao vs Kafka fight, as the footage show Kafka needs the proper training to control himself and what nots. Not to mention, and as much as I hate to admit it, Kafka needs help in getting over his fear for the Ninth Kaijus. Among many other things.
So a transfer to the First is in order. After they have had some time refurbished one of their own holding rooms to fit Kafka's needs. Its a good thing that the Third made sure to save and make copies of what they did to make sure Kafka actually had proper living conditions or else the First would experience some very awkward and embarrassing moments later on.
Now, I have not changed much about that fight that happens between the two. Mostly because there is no need aside from some minor adjustments. Thanks to the training from Soshiro, Kafka is a lot more difficult for Isao to fight, not helped that Tiny has also learned a thing or two as well when he takes fully over in Riot Mode. And the older man has to watch out for those blade tails as well, which is not easy given they are very flexible and can pretty much attack from any angle.
Kafka still ends up doing that hand through the chest bit. Which is quite a bit more gory given Kafka also has to use two of his own blades as well to stop himself by impaling his own legs too. But thats about it on what I have to share when it comes to the main events.
So before we start on better and fluffy stuff, what do you think so far? Have I done a good job at getting things so far working right regarding the main events? If theres anything I need to keep in mind for the other events or need to work a bit more on before I continue with the rest do tell me.
Poor Kafka is going through the ringer. Especially with the move as I imagine he won't feel comfortable at all, even moreso from the context. Nevermind the clusterfuck of his fight against Isao.
You're definitely doing great with the sadder and darker aspects to this AU. I swear I want to give Kafka tons of plushies to hug.

ok quick team tour before the E4 because i'm way more attached to these guys than i thought i'd be. and by quick i mean this might be a long post sorry. i will go in order of acquisition of various team members :]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
first up lovebug! named by my friend venty and also who i'd consider my starter :] butterfree's movepool isn't super wide and getting the twisted spoon or silver powder would be more trouble than it's worth at the moment, so aside from teaching Psychic with a TM, i left him with his level up moves and a quick claw for some speedy sleep powders. he has compoundeyes which makes sleep powder nearly 100% accurate and has been incredibly useful this entire run, especially with catching pokemon since sleep is so effective. i love him
Tumblr media Tumblr media
next up QUIVER MY BELOVED... i saved her evolution for level 53 literally in the middle of victory road, was super satisfying. nidoqueen can only learn crunch as a nidorina, once she evolves she can't learn it anymore, and nidorina learns it at level 53 so i played the long game to get that one cool move. she has blackglasses to boost the power of it. earthquake is from a TM and i used her as my strength user during my playthrough, but it's a pretty useful move so i just kept it instead of going out of my way to remove it. and then after evolving her i used the move reminder after farming some tinymushrooms to get superpower to top off her moveset. very proud of her she's come so far from being a level 6 nidoran lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
say hello to TACO (BELL)... thanks for the shitpost name @ my qpp SDJFKDFS the miracle seed is from the celadon game corner! did you know weepinbell learns razor leaf at mfing level 42? and before that it only has vine whip for grass stab? it's awful. i waited that long to evolve him. i wanted to save some of my tms for the postgame so i decided to hold onto giga drain and solar beam and the like, decided to just keep razor leaf. i didn't wanna repeat niches by giving him sleep powder or something so i grinded even more tinymushrooms and taught him spit up and stockpile from the move reminder for the meme LOL who knows if i'll actually get use out of it. but i love taco he has been fun to use since i almost always have bulbasaur as my grass type
Tumblr media Tumblr media
EGG!!!! he's named after my real life jolteon plushie with the same name. bite is exclusive to eevee at level 30 and since all dark moves are special in this game, it is actually useful on jolteon! i went pretty overboard on this guy because i love him. thunderbolt was a tm from the game corner, and uh... well... i found out he has hidden power water, with 70 base power, which while not the literal Best means he can hit ground types for super effective special damage at the maximum power possible for hidden power which is Based. UNFORTUNATELY hidden power can only be obtained through a 5% pickup drop in FRLG, so i caught a team of 6 meowths and spammed pickup until i got one lol. as for his held magnet item, that's exclusively obtained in FRLG by stealing off of wild magneton... a 5% chance. so i caught a level 31 meowth by bond bridge on two island, taught it thief, and used a repel trick with it to get all encounters to be magneton at the power plant... and just kept encountering until finally got the magnet 18 encounters in. pretty epic. nothing on his moveset is jolteon's natural moveset except thunder wave LOL and he has a pretty rare item for before the postgame
Tumblr media Tumblr media
next up is creamsicle who is surprisingly one of my favorites despite being a pretty straightforward pokemon with a limited movepool. icy wind, ice beam, and rest, are all levelup moves, while surf is obviously an HM. mystic water is from the celadon game corner. all of the pokemon on my team are pokemon i've never brought to the endgame before, but dewgong is among the pokemon i've never used before in like... any capacity. so it's been really fun to use her! dewgong is underrated and very cute. but i understand why no one uses it, pretty out of the way in lategame seafoam islands
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and last but not least here's torch! a pokemon i've DEFINITELY never used before as mt ember is optional before the postgame and i sometimes don't even take up bill's offer to go, much less linger on mt ember running around for a 5% encounter that late in the game post-blaine. BUT i wanted variety and this is certainly a fun choice after using ninetales a million times in my life. moveset is just levelup moveset except brick break which i taught by (thankfully renewable) TM, and the charcoal is from the game corner. he's the only mon caught in an ultra ball bc i could not be bothered oops... but the yellow matches! (btw he has a special attack IV of 0. LOOOL i still love him though)
and that's my weird ass leafgreen team where i boxed my starter and went out of my way to get pokemon i've not used before. i am at around 30 hours of gameplay and i'm going to fight the E4 shortlySDFKFSD

God bless you too! Happy Halloween to you too! :)
1: on Halloween in the past, have they ever wear matching outfits?
2: I know that they are scared of horror movies, but what about games? I can see them playing fnaf and maybe poppy’s playtime. Also, been playing the new Alan Wake 2 that just came out and it’s really scary, I can see the duo wearing their pants playing this game.
3: how did they get their teddy bears? Super bear for Chris and batbear for Jake.
4: would they ever get tattoos?
5: is Jake in a sports league at school or outside of school? I can see him in basketball making the winning score by slam dunking the ball last second or throwing it Across the court.
6: what’s Chris relationship with your version of “the flamebird owner?” (Forgot her name)
Thanks so much friend @gothicghost2000 It’s very appreciated :-D
1. Well, actually they have. Primarily once upon a time, they were both blue Crewmates from Among Us that had Mini Crewmates besides them. They won that year’s Costume Contest, barely beating out Lian who was Anna from Frozen
2. It really depends on what type of horror game they’re playing at that moment. While they’re relatively sensitive to jump scares, Chris and Jake own nearly every single FNAF game and on some occasions, tried out the 20/20/20/20 setting on each of them. Key word being ‘tried’ as they haven’t reached Night 5 on that setting. Another game that makes their spines chill but they’ll play nonetheless would be Dead Space I and II as it offers plenty of atmosphere and action to keep them going. As for Alan Wake, that scenario would seem likely but thankfully the two are able still play it (probably the fact the Duo hold it in until the pause button is pressed and then they rush to the bathroom helps)
3. Chris was given SuperBear during his first Birthday after being adopted by the Kents, stitched up together by Grandma Martha. Originally she had in mind that Chris and Jon would share SuperBear together but Jon was okay with Chris having the plushie to himself as he’s got over toys to more than make up for it. As for BatBear, that was made by Alfred originally as a present for Mar’i on e her first birthday, to compliment with her other plushie which was previously owned by Dick before he gave it to her, Peanut the Elephant. Once Jake was born, Mar’i felt it was only right that he can have BatBear while she can keep Peanut in her own then-new Big Sister sort of way. Thus are SuperBear and BatBear with their respective owners ever since then.
4. Nope. Absolutely not, Under NO Circumstances. Chris and Jake even at their most rebellious moments as teenagers have it perfectly down not to do so, less than they face the wraths of Lois and Dick. Lol
5. Jake is no doubt enrolled in Bludhaven Academy’s resident Little League team, the Nighthawks, having been already promoted to second in command of the team, only behind said team’s on court captain and of course the Coach. He’s mainly the team’s best Shooting Guard as his rather uncanny abilities to intercept the ball and score many points for his team are vital assets on the court. Already by the time he enters 5th grade, he has helped the Nighthawks make it to the Regional Championships about two times. The first time they won second place, only due to Jake breaking his ankle mid game and needing to be removed. The second time though was a solid victory, the first one in Bludhaven Academy’s history.
6. Thara and Chris are a pair of very close friends that for reasons even they can’t firmly explain to each other, they have this budding and passionate feeling from inside of them whenever they’re close. They both come to each other’s help in case of any local troublemakers and pranksters targeting them and they’re commonly placed into groups during class projects. These interactions, in sprite of themselves, have brought Chris and Thara closer together and find common grounds with each other on many things from the mundane like their thoughts on their teachers to the interpersonal including Chris being emotionally supportive to Thara during moments of her family history prior to moving to Earth getting to her. The fact the two are also apprentices of Dick and Bette Kane respectively further solidifies it.
