You know what, yes, I have my gripes with the Star Wars special of 'Phineas and Ferb' but I will never shut the fuck up about THIS

DISNEY. I WANT TO TALK, DISNEY.

Why. Why would they go their lengths establishing Phineas as a Luke type, giving them scenes together and similar lives and similar motivations, and then establishing Isabella as a Han type, giving them scenes blah blah, you know the drill (but it's even more apparent with Isabella and Han, because they changed Isabella's maner of carrying herself to be more Han-like) AND THEN HIT US WITH THIS.

What could possibly be the reason for not making Isabella Leia? It would certainly fit her character better. Oh, wait, no, because then we cannot have the romance. Only, we can. We establish that Candace, Phinease's lost sister is a STORMTROOPER, not a Leia type in this story. And it's 'A New Hope' making Isabella Leia would only help the romance. But no. Ohhh no. We have to have this. WE HAVE TO HAVE A LUKE AND HAN KISS. WHO IS RESPONSABLE? WHO WILL GIVE ME ANSWERS?

Today, in something extremely nerdy: I'm pretty sure I have a distant, roundabout cameo in today's Civvie11 about Castlevania. It's not really a cameo but let me have this

At a few points in the video, particularly early on, Civvie uses a VCR font, and I'm 90% sure that's my VCR font, "Kindly Rewind." I made it because the only VCR fonts I could find (at the time) wanted you to pay for them -- we're talking, like, a hundred bucks for a font. That's what you charge a big rich production company, which I am not. So I made my own and released it for free.

And the moment this font came up in Civvie's Castlevania video, I immediately squinted at it. There are differences between the paid VCR fonts and mine, deliberate differences, because I didn't want anyone pointing fingers at me and shouting piracy. So I kind of know my font when I see it.

So I pulled up the font and yeah, I think that's my font.

The square interior of the R, the way the quotation marks are a little bit below the text, the thickness of the letters...

This is mainly notable for me because this is the first time I've ever actually seen anyone use this font in the wild. And here it is in a Civvie video of all places.

That's pretty cool.

#bnha spoilers #mha spoilers #bnha leaks #bnha 419 #rambling followed by a tldr:#I’m sure he’ll get them back #either Eri rewinds him or Shigaraki unlocks the record struction part of his quirk which I saw some people theorizing #but yeah. Deku has faught physically as much as he possibly can. he has transferred all of OFA to Shigaraki and attampted to connect #with his mind. the boy once entrusted with the responsibility to destroy AFO now has to rely on others to finish this battle for him #unless the leaks are fake in which case carry on as usual #bc I also have gripes with him losing his arms #theres a lot of arm/hand imagery and symbolism in bnha #the all night I Am Here fist in the air #Katsuki’s whole hand holding thing #the recent thing about relief in reaching out to someone in need and them taking your hand #ffs the last few chapters Deku literally had to plow through shigaraki’s mutant finger chiton to get to his core.#his early recklessness resulting in permanent scarring and deformity in his hands as a reminder fight smarter not harder #and to adapt and be his own kind of hero and not keep trying to be an all might copy #I’m rambling but yeah. hands. losing them means losing some important symbolism but losing is also its own symbolism yknow?#TLDR #he’s gotta trust his fellow heroes to step in where he can’t but also if he doesn’t get to do a classic all might pose after all this istg #needs to accept he did everything in his power but also if he and Katsuki don’t finally take each others hands after this ISTG
