Because their smart daughter is becoming a little too smart and cunning and always seems to be one step ahead of everyone

And their wild son has grown into a massive tank of a boy who follows his sister’s every order

dont get me wrong. httyd3 is still just a 1hr44m documentary where there are occasionally dragons flying across the screen. but my brain enjoys thinking about these two gumballs and what they might do in all kinds of aus

Hiccup has dad-brain and needs to cycle through a series of names before getting his kids' names right and eventually he just gives up, especially when he's flustered.

Example of him calling Zephyr when she's causing trouble: "Nuffink! Toothless! Ruff-! Snot-! You! Goblin child! Come here please, thank you. I said *no* biting!"

Can we all just agree that Ben from Jurassic World/Park Franchise is the true descendant of our lovely, dorky, handsome Viking Chief who has a Goddess of a Wife and two beautiful children with her. Ben deserves the same love, Hiccstrid has. I hope he will someday find his true love and we will meet his girlfriend if it’s true that he has one.

what if we had something like Hook but it'd be Hiccup and Astrid with Nuffink and Zephyr?

Some old enemy would come back, kidnap Hiccstrid's kids, and they're like, "Mom will save us, but dad? He just likes to tinker."

And then he whips out the Dragon Blade, and he and Astrid are fighting back to back to save their kids and they're just like

Side note: I know Hiccups supposed to have a beard in this time frame, but I didn’t feel like drawing one on him. (And ruin that jawline line-art??? Hell no)! So let’s just pretend he decided to shave, I’m very sure he’s capable of doing that. Also Astrid’s pregnant… um, don’t ask me why I did that it just felt right okie?

I just feel it in my bones that they would have another kid, and really… why wouldn’t they?! 😏
