I honestly am kinda in mixed about this. Don’t get me wrong though. I am grateful of Gerard Butler coming back as Stoik.

But I feel an live action remake was unnecessary. Studios are now in the boat as Disney: wanting to o squeeze all the money they can from the animated movies.

Seriously, everyone was praising you after Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. Best not-actual-Disney movie in years. And then you look at their parade of hated remakes failing at the box office, and what? You thought this was an idea worth stealing?

It looks kinda ok, Cinematic wise, but we'll see if stands up to the animated. It could have the same flaws as Disney's remakes of the pacing and how visually compared to the og is dry. But so far seems promising.

I feel really bad for Chris Sanders and Dean Deblois. Together they wrote and directed both Lilo and Stitch as well as How to Train Your Dragon. Now both films are getting live action remakes despite not being that old.
