His eyes always surprise me with how big they can be even in httyd 1

Often they seem smaller cause he has his eyelids closed a bit, but look how hyuuuge they are

I was talking about some of the animation changes in HTTYD to my dad, and ended up trying to doodle Toothless as an example nsjnzjjaunsi (and then kinda colored it too to grab a little more detail)

Is it exact? Definitely not. I probably could have used references

But I think it gets the gist enough, and helps me a bit in trying to doodle HTTYD1 Toothless more

Even tried to add Toothless’s patterns… I really need to learn those too
