This restaurant offers a fantastic experience combining delicious food and lively entertainment, making it perfect for celebrations, especially birthdays. The chefs are not only skilled but also playful, particularly engaging with younger guests, making it a hit with children. The menu offers a great selection of proteins for the main dishes, and the fried rice is a recommended upgrade.
The overall dining experience is enhanced by attentive service, with servers ensuring that all needs are promptly met. The food, including dishes like Chicken Yakisoba, sushi, steak, and various tempura items, is well-prepared and flavorful. The restaurant also accommodates special requests, such as providing halal meat with advance notice.
For those looking to save, purchasing gift cards from Costco can offer significant savings. Additionally, taking advantage of deals like the WagJag can provide great value, such as a seven-course meal featuring filet mignon, scallops, chicken, and lobster tail.
It's important to note that this is not a place for a quiet, intimate dinner, as the atmosphere is lively with a lot of interaction among guests and staff. However, for an engaging and entertaining dining experience, this restaurant is highly recommended.

[ID 1: screenshot of a tweet that reads:
almost one year ago when i went to a fancy restaurant in okinawa got drunk and asked our chef if i could wear his hat and pretend to cook for him
attached is a blurry picture of a person in a blue dress holding a spatula, wearing a tall black chef's hat, and leaning over a hibachi grill. Another person, in a black chef jacket, is sitting down and smiling at them.
ID 2: screenshot of a tumblr reply that reads:
The spudged long exposure-esque blurs in the photo make it so much more evocative. Like the camera itself is drunk and wearing a hibachi hat. /end ID]

discussing with friends and apparently no one outside my state has ever even heard of the Peepee Boy, meanwhile I've seen the Onion Volcano put out by Peepee Boy routine at probably every Hibachi restaurant I've been to, out of SEVERAL. Maybe even put whether you're in/out of the US and what general region you're from in the tags as I'm curious if it's a regional thing. Don't have to though. I'm not a cop. If it wasn't for the fact that you can buy your very own Pee Pee Boy online they would've accused me of making up the legendary piss child.

might i get some facts about our lovely lady counselors? the lads are neato but i wanna know more about all the queens at the camp
Some love for the WAMEN
Sophie:
She sings in the shower, but would be mortified if anyone caught her
Her favorite fruit is oranges
She fuckin loves both Teppanyaki and Hibachi style places
She sleeps like a rock, good luck waking her before she's ready to get up
She can sew really well, if you have a tear in your clothes or a ripped plush, shes the one to go to
She's spooked by thunder
But ironically loves rainy weather
She has a massive sweet tooth
She's afraid of needles
If she takes a bath instead of a shower it has to be a bubble bath... with scented candles
Cammi:
She has anxiety, but swallows it down and drowns it out by keeping herself busy
She hates hot weather
She'd 100% tell them you asked for no pickles
She hates olives
She could drink a whole gallon of apple juice on her own if you let her
She gets competitive with board games
She was on the track team in highschool
She's allergic to wasps
She's the only one in camp you wanna go to for first aid, she knows even more than Jazz
She's surprisingly tough, she says its from growing up with two brothers who liked to roughhouse
Jazz:
She's very athletic, her favorite sport is volleyball
She's also stupid good at swimming, she would have taken the role of lifeguard at the camp during swim time
She loves sour candy, if you wanna get on her good side bring her anything from sour patch kids to straight up citric acid
She knows she can be intimidating, but it's not on purpose, she promises.
She dyes her hair herself
She never finished highschool, but got her GED and some college
She runs on about 3-4 hours of sleep a day
She loves her job as head counselor, but is planning on stepping down to continue college
She's very straight and to the point, she doesn't like tiptoeing around things
Her biggest fear is going back to old habits

//Salt & Pepper//
Twinbrook needed a restaurant so I built one. Replaces the original bistro. The green arrows in the back is the rabbithole that I will make transparent during gameplay. I wanted my sims to go on a hibachi date but that isn't possible with the Teppanyaki Grill from the store so this'll have to do. More photos on my Twitter here.
I've got like 3 other videos to edit so this speed build + download link won't be posted for a while. Soz.

Getting Started with Your Blackstone Griddle: A Beginner’s Guide
The Blackstone griddle is a game-changer for outdoor cooking lovers. With its versatility, excellent heat control, and large cooking surface, it’s ideal for creating meals from sizzling breakfasts to savory dinners. Whether you own a Blackstone 17 Griddle or the larger Blackstone 36 Griddle, this guide will help you unlock the potential of your griddle and step up your outdoor cooking game.
Why a Blackstone Griddle is Essential for Your Outdoor Kitchen
Blackstone griddles bring unique benefits that make them a valuable addition to any outdoor setup:
Consistent Heat Distribution: The griddle surface ensures even heat, allowing you to cook meals without worrying about hot spots.
Large Cooking Space: With models like the Blackstone 36 Griddle, you get a spacious surface ideal for preparing large meals or cooking multiple items simultaneously.
Cooking Versatility: From breakfast to dinner, the Blackstone griddle is versatile enough for a wide range of cuisines and cooking methods.
1. Selecting the Right Blackstone Griddle for Your Needs
Blackstone offers griddles in different sizes to suit various cooking situations. If you’re new to griddling, the compact and portable Blackstone 17 Griddle is a great starting point, perfect for smaller gatherings or taking on the road. For larger groups, the Blackstone 36 Griddle provides a vast cooking area, making it ideal for families or bigger events.
Explore the Blackstone 36 Griddle for more extensive cooking sessions or the Blackstone 17 Griddle for easy portability.
2. Setting Up Your Blackstone Griddle
Setting up your griddle is quick and straightforward. Here’s how to get started:
Place on a Flat Surface: Set up your griddle on a stable, level area for consistent cooking.
Season the Griddle: Seasoning is crucial for creating a non-stick surface and preventing rust. Apply a thin layer of vegetable oil, heat the griddle for 15-20 minutes, and repeat this process 2-3 times for best results.
3. Tips for First-Time Blackstone Griddle Users
Using a Blackstone griddle is easy, but a few key tips can help you maximize your cooking experience:
Preheat Properly: Preheating the griddle for 5-10 minutes ensures it reaches an ideal cooking temperature.
Use Different Heat Zones: Take advantage of the griddle’s varying heat zones to cook multiple foods at different temperatures. This feature is especially beneficial on the Blackstone 36 Griddle, where you can have a high-heat area and a cooler zone simultaneously.
Maintain a Clean Surface: After each use, scrape off any remaining food and wipe down the surface with a damp cloth to keep it in great shape.
4. Creative Ways to Use Your Blackstone Griddle
The Blackstone griddle goes beyond basic cooking, opening up possibilities for a variety of culinary creations:
Outdoor Teppanyaki: Bring the teppanyaki experience to your backyard by preparing hibachi-style meals. The flat surface allows you to easily grill meats, vegetables, and even fried rice.
Breakfast Feasts: Take advantage of the wide surface to prepare large, hearty breakfasts with eggs, bacon, pancakes, and hash browns all at once.
Family-Style Tacos: Use the griddle for a taco night by grilling up different proteins and veggies together, allowing guests to build their own tacos from a fresh assortment.
5. Maintenance Tips for Your Blackstone Griddle
To ensure your griddle stays in top condition for years to come, follow these maintenance tips:
Regular Cleaning: After cooking, let the griddle cool, then scrape off food remnants and wipe it down with a cloth.
Protect with Oil: Apply a light coat of oil after cleaning to prevent rust and maintain the griddle surface.
Store Properly: Cover your griddle when not in use, especially if it’s kept outdoors. This will protect it from the elements and extend its lifespan.
Conclusion
Whether you have the Blackstone 36 Griddle or Blackstone 17 Griddle, adding a griddle to your outdoor kitchen setup opens up endless cooking possibilities. With proper setup, smart cooking techniques, and consistent maintenance, your Blackstone griddle will become a favorite tool for creating memorable outdoor meals. Overview of Hibachi and Teppenyaki Cuisines
Tumblr media
Hibachi and teppanyaki food are unique journeys into the world of Japanese cuisine. The word "hibachi" translates to "fire bowl" in Japanese, reflecting the origins of this versatile cooking tool, a round or rectangular open container initially used for heating. While hibachi focuses on the direct grilling experience, teppanyaki offers a different approach. This post-World War II Japanese cooking style utilizes a flat iron griddle called a "teppan" for cooking.
Over time, the hibachi evolved into a versatile cooking tool for grilling, stir-frying, and pan-frying. Hibachi chefs wield the grill with impressive skill, searing meats and vegetables over high flames fueled by charcoal or gas. This technique imbues the food with a unique smoky flavor, a hibachi cuisine hallmark.
Hibachi dishes contain multiple flavors and textures. Rich proteins like steak, chicken, shrimp, and scallops take center stage. Chefs expertly season and grill them to deepen their flavor. They also stir-fry a mix of vegetables, such as carrots, broccoli, and zucchini, to complement the proteins.
In Japan, hibachi is traditionally paired with steamed rice, known as "gohan." This short-grain rice variety boasts a slightly sticky texture that harmonizes with the grilled ingredients. However, in the United States, hibachi restaurants often offer a different twist regarding fried rice. This dish, featuring cooked rice stir-fried with vegetables and protein bits, adds a depth of flavor and a textural contrast.
Teppanyaki chefs perform culinary artistry right in front of guests, grilling various ingredients like steak, seafood, vegetables, and rice on the broad surface of the teppan. This theatrical display, often featuring intricate knife work and impressive flaming presentations, elevates the dining experience into a performance.
Although hibachi and teppanyaki offer a glimpse into Japanese culinary traditions, they have distinct characteristics. Hibachi chefs use an open-grate grill, whereas teppanyaki chefs rely on a flat, iron griddle. Traditional hibachi relies on charcoal for its heat source, while teppanyaki grills typically utilize propane, making them suitable for indoor settings.
Regarding presentation, teppanyaki chefs prioritize an interactive dining experience through elaborate cooking shows. Hibachi is all about the direct grilling technique. Additionally, teppanyaki menus showcase various ingredients cooked on the grill. While offering a similar selection, Hibachi menus often emphasize the smoky flavor of charcoal grilling.
Recognizing the growing demand for vegetarian options, teppanyaki and hibachi restaurants are diversifying their menus. These restaurants now offer a variety of vegetarian dishes that are as delicious and satisfying as their meat-based counterparts. Teppanyaki chefs can prepare an array of grilled vegetables, tofu, and rice or noodle dishes directly on the grill, using separate utensils and dedicated areas to avoid cross-contamination with meat.
The interactive nature of teppanyaki also allows vegetarians to customize their meals to their preferences. Hibachi grills, focusing on direct grilling over charcoal, are also well-suited for vegetarians. The grilling process infuses vegetables with a rich, smoky flavor that enhances their natural taste. Many hibachi restaurants now include vegetarian options such as grilled vegetables, tofu, and vegetarian sushi rolls.
Teppanyaki and hibachi are more than just cooking styles; they are cultural expressions. The emphasis on fresh ingredients, meticulous preparation, and the communal aspect of dining reflects the Japanese philosophy of food as an art form and a shared experience. In the United States, teppanyaki and hibachi have developed from dining options into cultural exchanges, enriching the American culinary scene and making every meal a journey for the senses.
