Who knew that having two hyperfixations at the same time would cause them to merge (DCCHG meets Magical Girl Anime)

basically if metropolis was still metropolis but it was like. structured like tokyo for some reason

plus the token magical anime supporting cast of boys

the fact that dc superhero girls (2019) was cancelled and nobody ever talks about it is a tragedy. this show has everything. its a high school au. the show only has like 4 superheros who are old enough to vote. harley is a teenager so she can be friends with babs and they dont know the others a hero/villain and its super gay. the league of shadows is an alternative rock band and they have the most kickass music sequence in tv history (did i mention theres music in this show sometimes). kara is like a big sister to garth of all people and its really cute. jessica takes in dex-starr because she feels bad for him and dexy hates every second of it. livewire runs a cyberbullying blog. lois tries to dox the superhero girls. bruce waynes "brucie" persona is the most exaggerated here than ive ever seen it. theres an episode where star sapphire and sinestro date so they can make hal jealous bc theyre in love with him and it works. the girls ar working together! the show is actually funny. its made by lauren faust guys she made mlpfim so it definitely has some of that shows blood now go watch it. its peak girly media!! watch it!!!

I'm always flabbergasted when I think about the DC Comics title DIAL H FOR HERO. Not only did DC have it *DECADES* before Ben 10 was ever a thing, but gay Afro-Latino H-Dial wielder Hero Cruz existed 23 years before Miguel Montez (current H-dial wielder, also gay & Latino) & even 15 years before Marvel's own Spider-Man, Miles Morales (also Afro-Latino).

No shade to Miles nor Miguel & I know that social progress isn't, and shouldn't be, a competition.

It's just wild that, if DC folks were thinking (and if people were not hindered by prejudices), the Ben 10 "I can be a one-man team" dynamic could have happened in the mainstream WAY earlier & w/ more diversity to boot!

I'd love to see an H-Dial hero in a DC Comics TV show or movie (animated and/or live-action), but I doubt DC would even attempt it now, with the comparisons fans would inevitably draw between DH4H & the Ben 10 universe (despite there actually being very big story differences).
