I think what people misunderstand when somebody says XYZ animal can smell at thousand times better than humans is that they think that just increases the intensity to the level of pain, and not that it increases the precision.

There's a lot of werewolf media in particular that says you get better ability of smell when you become a werewolf and then this means people can't stand in rooms with sweaty people or something like that but like dogs don't give a crap about that neither would wolves it's not just increasing the potency it's increasing the ability to differentiate things you'd still be able to stand in a room a locker room or whatever with sweaty people you would just now be able to tell every single person's sweat apart or something.

Also it it it's really freaking annoying when people do this but then they just neglect to mention that this would mean the werewolf can now smell people menstruating because everybody wants to never admit that menstruation exists and it's really irritating. They'll go on and on and on and on about all these things that the person can now smell including arousal because people can't stop being horny for 5 seconds, but menstruation? No that's crossing a line we can't admit that exists.

That part gets especially irritating when the werewolf person will be like oh I smell blood and the implication is that somebody is self-harming themselves? And menstruation is never even a possibilily. And if somebody had healing scratches or cuts, the thing you would be smelling would be clotted blood or scabs or disinfectant or something unless they are actively bleeding right now like come on.

Another Sibling Danny and Jason idea!!

"Are you Jason Peter Todd?!" demanded a deep and commanding tone from the strange glowing being in front of them.

All the Bats stiffened and tensed, no doubt gearing up for a fight against the being that somehow knew Red Hood's full name.

Jason, Red Hood, decided to put on a brave front despite no doubt cursing in his head and wondering how the heck did this thing know his full freaking name.

"Whose asking." he snarled out, his hands twitching for his gun when the huge glowing knight with purple flames coming out of his helmet and cape, who was riding on a nightmare looking horse while they all had been in the cave going over tonight's patrol.

The Knight didn't seemed bothered by his response nor did he even seem to care or flinch when Batman made his own demand on 'Why was he there and who was he' or when Damian unsheathed his sword and pointed it towards him. Instead the strange glowing Knight reached to it side and pulled out... A glowing scroll? Huh. (Also he completely unnerved everyone in the room when the Knight didn't even react when Batman had tossed a Baterang when he reached for his side)

The Knight opened the scroll and spoke clearly with purpose.

"Jason Peter Todd,

You are hereby invited as a special guest of honor to the crowning of our future King of the Infinite Realms.

Daniel Phantom, once Daniel Jackson Fenton, and once Daniel Austen Todd.

Prince of the Infinite Realms, the Keeper of Balance, The Peacekeeping Halfa, the Defeater of the Tyrant King Pariah Dark, The Great One, Youngest of the Ancients, Ancient of Space, The Bridge between Life and Death.

Lloyd: So people use you to justify hate towards queer people, but uncle Wu's chill with queer people, so does that mean you're okay with queer people too?

FSM: I don't what that means.

Lloyd: Uhhh, queer people are people who aren't exclusively attracted to the opposite gender as them, and/or don't identify as their birth gender.

FSM: You have words for that now? Well then yes, I am fine with queer people. And I don't appreciate others using me as an excuse to hate people because of the way they were born. I've had enough of that in my lifetime.

Lloyd, lying on his back: Hey, do you have wifi here?

Little Grayson and his Talon Knights

Got a new idea cooking in my head.

Another DPxDC idea.

A reborn into DCverse Toddler!Danny but also Dad!Dick and Talons.

Danny is reborn into the DCverse (either he's a clone of Dick, a created test tube baby, OR a kid Dick unknowingly had during his amnesia year) and wakes up in the Court of Owls who finally have their Gray Son and will turn him into the greatest Talon ever.

Thing is, Danny still has his ghost powers (King Danny? Idk leaving it open, either that or just able to control clean ectoplasm) and knows whatever fruitloops have him, this will not be fun. So, when none of the Owls are watching him, he uses his abilities to influence a few Talons and they all book it out of the place.

Danny later finds himself walking the dirty Gotham streets with a few Talons, one holding his hand while the others hide in the shadows in case they need to protect the baby Talon they all care for.

Of course, the sighting of a Talon holding a toddler's hand catches the camera's and Oracles attention very very fast.

One of the Batboys is sent out, not Dick he's on a space mission right now, and whoever it is, is shocked to see a toddler that has a LOT of similarities to Dick.

Leo’s love for magicians and magic shows isn’t brought up enough tbh, because it directly ties into the idea of a persona and fooling the audience’s eyes to see something that’s not actually there. This connects to his love of performance in general but also ties into why he struggled so much with his mystic powers.

Magic tricks are exactly that, tricks, a performance, masked actions hiding the truth. Meanwhile mysticism is intrinsically linked to the self and so Leo’s difficulty in even unmasking to himself is a big part of his journey that he continues to struggle with and in this essay I will-

my pet peeve is those "historians thought they were very good friends" jokes, like obviously for sure there are homophobic historians, but the study of same-sex desire and relationships of the past is also quite complex and you can't often go and simply label people's relationships or identities of time gone by, and sometimes it's more complicated and elusive than "they were a couple" or even "they were in love"
