as for your second question, if we take a look at the body that was left behind after fyodor had “died” we see that he looks relatively similar to fyodor although there are some alterations.

side note: dazai’s expression here is so good agh i love harukawa’a art so much

and when we look at fyodor’s new body, he takes some resemblance to bram. though this may just be an outfit thing.

since the corpse still resembles a mutilated fyodor, i would assume the corpses all take a similar form to how he looks regularly. it’s as if the visual identity of whoever he took over disappears entirely after he takes over their body. very fucked up, an easy way to make someone disappear without a trace would be to have them kill fyodor.

and for your final question, it’s unclear. since for example the guy in the helicopter didn’t get taken over due to the fact that he was being controlled by bram, it seems that if someone is controlling another they will be the one taken over. for example, if fyodor was assassinated by someone who didn’t want to do the act, it would have been the person who ordered the hit that would be taken over.

it’s unclear as to what would happen if all events were accidental, but i would assume it would go to whoever was at the most fault. i assume he will be incapable of dying and will always take over bodies. (with the exception of dazai)

Rubin said that even though the Taliban are not directly funded by international humanitarian groups, it has found ways to siphon off funding for its own gains. 

The Taliban marked the three-year anniversary of the takeover of Kabul in a parade on Wednesday at Bagram Air Base – formally the largest U.S. military base in Afghanistan – while showing off U.S. military hardware that had been abandoned following the withdrawal.

While neglecting any mention of the hardship Afghans face, speeches championing Taliban efforts to squash opposition to the extremist group were flaunted, along with a reference to Afghanistan’s continued isolation from the international community.

"The Islamic Emirate eliminated internal differences and expanded the scope of unity and cooperation in the country," Deputy Prime Minister Maulvi Abdul Kabir said in reference to a term the Taliban uses to describe its government, according to an AP News report. "No one will be allowed to interfere in internal affairs and Afghan soil will not be used against any country."

Former U.S. military machinery abandoned at the airbase like helicopters, tanks and vehicles were displayed alongside soldiers holding light and heavy machine guns.

"The Taliban holds these parades yearly to rub their victory and our defeat in our face," Bill Roggio, senior fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and founding editor of "The Long War Journal," told Fox News Digital.

Afghanistan has largely remained an international pariah over its human rights violations. But even as some countries have begun to allow for diplomatic engagement with the insurgent group, Western nations remain highly concerned over how Afghanistan has once again become a haven for terrorist organizations.

"Afghanistan is far more dangerous today than it was prior to 9/11," Roggio said. "The Taliban is in full control of the country, and it is sheltering and supporting al Qaeda and allied terror groups."

Roggio said al Qaeda is once again running training camps in at least 12 provinces across the country with very little internal resistance.

Naturally, this led to a rather pleasant conversation about our shared sexuality.

Near the end of our conversation, she noticed my use of past tense whenever I would reference my preferences and politely inquired about my phrasing. When I informed her that all biological processes related to sexual desire were removed from my body during my various surgeries, she fell into a pensive silence for the rest of the evening and for the remainder of the following day.

Her silence, as I would come to find out, was as a result of her scheming up a way to restore my body to the state it was in pre-augmentation. Abel Ferrara's version of Jack Finney's novel The Body Snatchers is nothing if not economical. The economy extends to the title: Don Siegel's 1956 version and Philip Kaufman's 1978 one were called Invasion of the Body Snatchers; Ferrara even drops the definite article. The story, too, has been pared down. Ferrara's version sets the story on a military base in Alabama instead of the urban California of the previous films. It also shifts the focus to a teenage girl, Marti Malone (Gabrielle Anwar), who comes with her family to the base when her father (Terry Kinney) is sent there by the EPA to investigate chemical pollution. The dynamic of a rebellious adolescent in a military culture is perfect for the conflict between individualism and conformity, the theme that unites all of the versions of Finney's story. In addition to her father, Marti's dysfunctional family consists of her stepmother, Carol (Meg Tilly), whom she dislikes, and her young half-brother, Andy (Reilly Muphy), who annoys her. Andy is the first to sense that something is seriously wrong in their new home when, during an art class at day care, all the other kids produce identical finger paintings. As they hold up their paintings, the teacher murmurs approvingly at each one until she comes to a halt at Andy's, which is unique. She clearly disapproves. One by one, the fact that people are being somehow replaced by identical but emotionless beings becomes clear. Ferrara is not particularly interested in the mechanics of invasion and transformation that took up more narrative space in the previous films. We get some nicely disgusting body horror scenes, but the response of Marti to the alien takeover is what drives the plot as she teams up with a handsome young helicopter pilot named Tim (Billy Wirth) to fight off the invaders. Tim's stoic military manner keeps us unsure whether he's not already one of the pod people, an ambiguity that persists until the end of the movie. Body Snatchers is a good rethinking of material whose previous versions are now considered classics. The source material was mined again for a fourth version, The invasion (Oliver Hirschbiegel, 2007), which starred Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig but bombed with the critics.

Hey sorry! I was busy when I got this ask lmao.

As for thoughts on Sovime!Mexico, I've got a few.

He's pretty active in the fight to get America back, having had feelings for him for a while before the takeover happened. Unfortunately, America was too busy with the whole cold war and assassinations thing going on that he never really paid much attention to Mex unless he was having a mental breakdown.

Secretly, he hopes to be the first and only one to actually get America out of his situation: hoping that will get Ame to care for him in return. But anyone with eyes can tell how close America and Russia are, and Mexico hates it.

Outside of that situation, Mexico's become just a little bit paranoid. He's always worried he's going to be next once Soviet can amass a big enough army, and so his defenses are way up. He's even hesitant to get help from Britain because of said paranoia.

If I include my oc Tigal (Mexico's son), he's become an absolute helicopter parent and won't allow Tigal to go anywhere alone

The gameplay trailer teases some of the new gameplay mechanics in development, including:

Two days after the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops, Russian forces have completed their takeover of Avdiivka. According to Russia’s Defense Ministry, its soldiers took “full control” of Avdiivka’s coke plant on February 19, eliminating the town’s last pocket of resistance. Located near the city of Donetsk, Avdiivka has been a frontline town since 2014 — and it continued to serve as a Ukrainian stronghold long after Russia began its full-scale invasion in February 2022. The Russian army began an all-out assault on Avdiivka last October and the push to encircle the town dragged on for months, reportedly costing Russia tens of thousands of casualties and major equipment losses. Meduza shares scenes from the final days of the battle for Avdiivka, in photos.

According to The Washington Post, Ukrainian forces began to withdraw from Avdiivka on February 15 — six months after Russian troops began a full-scale assault on the town. That same day, Russian forces captured the main road leading to Avdiivka, cutting off the main supply line for Ukrainian soldiers defending the embattled city.

The Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi announced the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Avdiivka on February 17. That same day, pro-war Russian Telegram channels began posting grainy photos and videos that appeared to show Russian troops planting flags in different parts of the town, including on the grounds of the Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Plant. 

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference on February 17, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the decision to withdraw troops from Avdiivka aimed to save Ukrainian soldiers’ lives. “We are preserving our people, our warriors, because this is what defense is all about,” he said.

“The decision to protect people is right,” Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said in a post amid the withdrawal. “We will return to Avdiivka.”
