For the past 100 days, Israel has been waging a genocide campaign in Gaza without any sort of reprieve from western countries. Palestinians are suffering from a human-made famine, surpassing the scale and speed of any other famine enforced in the past 75 years. Healthcare professionals are being cornered into Rafah by constant airstrikes, sniper attacks and bombardments at hospitals, forced to leave patients and medical supplies behind. Unmaned quadcopters opened fire on the maternity and ICU unities of Al Aqsa Martyrs hospital and killed 8 civilians. Yesterday, the hospital ran out of fuel and the babies in incubators might die anytime soon. Only 127 aid trucks are being allowed into Gaza of the 500 allowed before the war, under "normal" blockade conditions. The distribution of food and water is made basically impossible by the destruction of communications and the looming threat of executions against people gathered to receive it. Just today snipers killed 3 people in line to receive food in Gaza City and Israel officials have the gall to say the problem is that humanitarian organizations, whose volunteers are being executed at unprecedent rates, aren't putting in enough effort. The IDF drops leaflets telling desperate refugees to flee and then station tanks on the roads or bombs the safe zones.
Ever since I read South Africa's submission to the ICJ I can't stop thinking about how they label it as the demication of Gaza and its people. On every sphere of the government, there are statements calling for the anihilation of the people of Gaza (pages 59 to 67). The Prime Minister has directly adressed the army telling them to wipe off the amalekites (page 60), and South Africa showed tiktoks of the soldiers repeating his speech word for word before committing massacres. And yet they have the gall to come to the world and say they haven't targeted hospitals, they haven't withheld aid and that the statements are "random assertions." To prove that Netanyahu isn't a blood thirsty pig, they pasted a statement he made ONE DAY before the hearing started, which is frankly ridiculous we're supposed to believe isn't a PR stunt (page 34).
No western outlet streamed the highest stake court hearing in the 21st century, but you can rest assured they streamed Israel's pathetic defense. And Canada, Germany, the UK and the US, countries which have in no way reckoned with their own genocidal pasts, have come forward in defense of Israel like they have any moral high ground to patronize the world about genocide.
Take action, for their sake. Motaz has said "Don't call yourself a free person if you can't make changes. If you can't stop a genocide that is still ongoing". We need to fight in any way we can to stop their massacre.
Keep yourself updated and share Palestinian voices. Muna El-Kurd said every tweet is like a treasure to them, because their voices are repressed on social media and even on this very app. Make it your action item to share something about the Palestinian plight everyday. Here are some resources:
Al Jazeera, Anadolu Agency, Mondoweiss
Boycott Divest Sanction Movement
Palestinian Youth Movement is organizing protests and direct action against weapons factories across the US
Mohammed El-Kurd (twitter / instagram)
Muhammad Shehada (twitter)
Motaz Azaiza (instagram) - reporting directly from Gaza.
Hind Khudary - reporting directly from Gaza. Her husband and daughter moved South to run from the tanks but she stayed behind to record the genocide. The least we can do is not let her calls fall on deaf ears.
You can participate in boycotts wherever you are in the world, through BDS guidelines. Don't be overwhelmed by gigantic boycott lists. BDS explicitly targets only a few brands which have bigger impact. Right now, they are focusing on boycotting the following:
Carrefour, HP, Puma, Sabra, Sodastream, Ahava cosmetics, McDonalds, Disney and Israeli fruits and vegetables
Push for a cultural boycott - pressure your favorite artist to speak out on Palestine and cancel any upcoming performances on occupied territory (Lorde cancelled her gig in Israel because of this. It works.)
If you can, participate in direct action or donate.
Palestine Action works to shut down Israeli weapons factories in the UK and USA, and have successfully shut down one of their firms in London. Some of the activists are going on trial and are calling for mobilizing on court.
Palestinian Youth Movement is organizing direct actions to stop the shipping of wars to Israel. Follow them.
Educate yourself. Read into Palestinian history and the occupation. You can't common sense people out of decades of propaganda. If your arguments crumble when a zionist brings up the "disengagement of Gaza", you have to learn more.
Read Decolonize Palestine. They have 15 minute reads that concisely explain the occupation (and its colonial roots) and debunk popular myths, including pinkwashing.
Read on Palestine. Here's an amazing masterpost.
Verso Book Club is giving out free books on Palestine (I personally downloaded Ten Myths about Israel by Ilan Pappe. If you still believe in the two states solution, this book by an Israeli professor debunks it).
Call your representatives. The Labour Party in the UK had an emergency meeting after several councilors threatened to resign if they didn't condemn Israeli war crimes. Calling to show your complaints works, even more if you live in a country that funds genocide.
FOR PEOPLE IN THE USA: USCPR has developed this toolkit for calls, here's a document that autosends emails to your representatives and here's a toolkit by Ceasefire in Gaza NOW!
FOR PEOPLE IN EUROPE: Here's a toolkit by Voices in Europe for Peace targeting the European Parliament and one specific for almost all countries in Europe, including Germany, Ireland, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Greece, Norway, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Finland, Austria, Belgium Romania and Ukraine
FOR PEOPLE IN THE UK: Friends of Al-Aqsa UK and Palestine Solidarity UK have made toolkits for calls and emails

"Hey baby," Y/N speaks into her phone as she's greeted by her boyfriend's voicemail for the third time. When he doesn't answer his phone, she becomes concerned and decides to leave a message this time. It wasn't normal for Chan miss her calls, and if he did, he would call her as soon as he could. "Call me as soon as you get this, okay? I'm beginning to worry."Â Â
After ending the call, she checks her text messages before sending a text to Changbin and Han asking if Chan was still with them. They are the two who were likely to be know of what was going on since he spends most of the day with them. They both reply to the text right away, stating they haven't seen him since they took a lunch break. Â
Y/N circles back and begins walking towards Chan's apartment building. She is more worried than ever. Being a bit of a workaholic, Chan wouldn't just leave the studio without notifying anybody, especially those who are closest to him.  Â
Her worry quickly turns to terror as she reaches his apartment and sees that the door is wide open and barely hanging on its hinges. A wolf's cry can be heard out in the distance, sending a shiver down her spine. Â
As she goes Chan's apartment, the sky openâs and it starts pouring rain, far in the distance the rumbling of thunder could be heard, adding to the fear sheâs already experiencing. Gripping the strap of her shoulder bag tightly, her heart pounding against her chest, she steps through the doorway, crossing the threshold into his apartment. Â
"Channie?" She calls out to him in the pitch-darkness, but her voice comes out weaker and quieter than she expected. Â
She finds the light switch and flicks it on. She gasps and jumps as the bulb momentarily flickers before shattering into a million pieces, leaving her once again in darkness. The only light came from the full moon faintly illuminating the living area. Her heart is pounding against her chest so loudly that she can hear it with her own ears. While remaining in place, she clumsily pulls her phone from her bag and drops it on the ground. She picks it up with trembling hands and hastily makes another call to Chan. Â
The sound of Chan's phone ringing causes her to look around in fear. It's another strange element of the situation. In the same way that his laptop is an extension of him, Chan never leaves his home without his phone.   Â
She drops her phone and screams aloud as a huge bang comes from behind her. She turns on her heal and sees Bang Chan, half naked, covered in blood, with enormous, jagged wounds that look like claws larger than a bear have torn through his flesh and appearing to be on the cusp of death's door. Her fear turns to panic as he slumps to the ground and passes out. Â
âChan!â she shouts as she rushes towards him and tries to get him to wake up. âChris! Christopher!â Â
When he doesnât budge or stir, she moves to check his wounds. Seeing how deep they are, she hurries into the bathroom to find the first aid kit he keeps in there. Finding it under the sink, she grabs it hurries back to the kitchen.  Â
Arriving back in the kitchen, sheâs startled to find Chan missing. Fear creeping back into her veins, she looks around to see where he could have gone. In the dark room it was hard to see where he could be. Â
âBang Chan?â she questions, her voice meek. Â
âWhat are you doing here?â She hears him ask, voice raspy and weak. The pain heâs in is evident in his tone. Â
âIâm worried about you,â she answers, looking in the direction his voice came from, but she canât see a thing until a flash of lightening illuminates the apartment for less than a second. She finds his form leaning against the wall in the living room, slightly hunched over and shivering. âYou never came for dinner, you werenât answering your calls, and no one has seen you since midday.â Â
âSomething came up,â he tells her. âYou need to leave, now.â Â
âLet me help you,â she says going to take a step forward only for him to yell at her to stop. Â
âGo home, Y/N,â He continues to shout at her, his tone loud and booming over the pouring rain, shocking her. Heâs never raised his voice like that at her before.  Â
âIâm not leaving until I know youâre okay,â she tells him, her voice calm and assertive.  Â
âIâm fine.â Â
âNo, you're not.â she argues, and moves towards him.  Â
Giving in, he allows her to help him into his bedroom. She switches on the light as the enter the room and places him on the bed. After getting a better look at his wounds and ignoring all of Chanâs protests, she heads back into the kitchen to grab the first aid kit she dropped.  Â
Walking back into the bedroom, she finds Chan missing again. Hearing the running water coming from the bathroom, she walks into the room finding Chan with a damp cloth, wiping the blood from his skin. There are no more wounds littering his perfect body. The only sign of there any, is the blood that now stained the cloth heâs using and the pink water in the sink. Â
âWhen were you going to tell me that youâre a werewolf?â she asks leaning on the bathroom door frame, watching him.  Â
âI was hoping, never,â he answers honestly. âBut that would be impossible. How did you figure it out?â  Â
âI got suspicious when you would only spend the whole night at the studios when there was a full moon,â she tells him. âLeading up to the full moon, youâre always on edge and a lot snappier and more aggressive. Itâs also like you're in heat leading up to it as well.â  Â
âIâm sorry I didnât tell you and you had to figure it out on your own,â he apologizes unplugging the sink, letting the pink stained water swirl down the drain. Â
âPromise me, youâll let me help you from now on and that weâre in this together,â she asks. âI love you and donât want to lose you.â Â
âI promise,â he answers, moving closer to her, bringing her into his arms. âBut as soon as I tell you to leave, you leave. I donât want to hurt her or worse.â Â
She nods and pulls him into a kiss.Â

As someone who is partly deaf, I love that deaf Tim stuff. But hear me out for something that could work for either of them. What if on complete accident when both the Bats and Rouges hear about Tim's disability, the Rouges are the ones who do a better job with not looking down on Tim. Yes they add things to help him, like for Deaf Tim Joker would also use ASL as he monologs to make sure that Tim can understand him or with Blind Tim Riddler makes puzzle rooms themed around telling the difference in textures or he reads all the riddles out loud.
Meanwhile the Bats are. They *tried* ok? But they keep over compensating because they worry about Tim. Unlike the Rouges who don't pull their punches, during training the Bats do start pulling punches and going a little easier on Tim. Dick keeps trying to do things for Tim that Tim knows he can do. Bruce keeps taking him off cases that involve in person investigation. Damian keeps saying things about how all tasks should be left to him because clearly he's the superior one (if it's early Damian, later on when they're on better terms he wouldn't be as assholish about it but also keeps trying to take over tasks for Tim)
I'm really really glad that you vibed with the AU.
As far as your additions, I 100% agree. Having "good intentions" for people can still be harmful and frustrating. That's why, in these AUs, Tim tries to hide his disability until he's able to prove his efficiency. It's dealer's choice whether the Bats choose to acknowledge the evidence or are still doubting his capabilities.
I think the fic from the OG post has a scene where Babs, Cass, and Tim meet up to discuss the microaggressions they face from the Bats due to their respective disabilities. The sequel definitely has cute interactions between Damian and Tim. Damian refuses for anyone to treat his "rival" as weak or incapable. Peak siblings energy.
The funny part I find about this would be the Rogues accommodating Tim's disabilities just so they can defeat him. If Joker learned ASL for Tim, he'd probably research the hell out of how to look intimidating and scary while doing it (since, depending on Tim's hearing loss, Joker can't effectively utilize the vocal tone skills he's trained to be terrifying). Riddler would treat it as another puzzle and mental exercise (his Riddles would likely increase in accessibility for multiple disabilities as time progresses. He wants to challenge folks by their thinking abilities, not by their ability to test within the constraints placed on them. Perhaps, after his research and new implementations, he even starts targeting schools that unfairly places confines on their students [from both a socioeconomic standpoint and from improper accommodations]).
Anyways, I would love a fic that highlights some of the Bats' treatment of Tim and how not to interact with folks of different disabilities. Stuff like infantilizing, doing tasks for the person without permission, assuming what someone can handle, and disregarding them. It'd be cool to watch Tim try open communication (asking boundaries and what level of assistance the person desires) with all of them. For some, that's all that's needed. They have a clear guideline of "that shit was not okay" and the lines of communication are open for them to ask clarification in the future. For others, they listen to Tim, agree to change, and still pull that shit. I personally vote for Tim getting petty.
I feel like Babs and Cass would be the ones to understand the most that Tim can do anything he sets his mind to (he's so incredibly stubborn that he'd probably even be able to steal LexCorp from Luthor if he was motivated enough. He most likely even has plans already drawn for it ready to implement at any point). Duke would probably understand how others' perceptions of Tim affect him.
I also kill for Tim utilizing WE resources to bring aid and accommodations based on more specific audiences (such as how kids in the foster system, LGBT youth, and those with disabilities [both mental and physical] disportionately make up the homeless population).
I'm rambling a bit because sociology is a passion of mine. I'd get a higher education on the subject if I had the money.
Anyways, I love considering such perspectives in fanfiction. Let me know if there's other stuff I should add to this AU!

Ok fine! Youâve convinced me! Iâll learn how to draw specifically so I can draw codywan kissing, youâve spread your gospel successfully
âŠ
How do you draw tho fr cuz I can doodle like, funky lookin birds but people is fully out of my depth send help
AAAA HELL YEAHHHH!!!!! LET'S GOOOO!!!!!
You've opened a can of worms asking me for art advice so *cracks knuckles* buckle up.
I sort of (only a little bit) use the Loomis method for easy head drawing. Here is a playlist of YouTube videos by Proko. Highly, highly recommend that channel for your art tutorial needs!
I start with a circle. For side profiles, I draw a line down the side of the circle to determine where the features will sit upon. I draw a triangular shape to mark where the orbital socket is. Around the middle point of the circle is where the jawline ends and the ear begins so draw a line there. There are proportion rules which are good guidelines when starting out in art but since I've been doing this my entire life, I have a feel for things and just wing it. That's to say, I put in a line implying the jaw based on vibes.
Next, I draw the eyebrows and brow ridge. Then the nose. I find I majorly base my proportions on this area so if anything is off, it throws the rest of the face off.
Then I draw the lips and chin... or in Obi-Wan's case, his beard. I will mark in his sideburns and hairline as well. Now, about ears: generally the top of the ear begins right around the top of the eyebrow and stops at the base of the nose. At this point I like to draw his eye, define the cheekbone, and refine the eyebrow. I'll finish scribbling in hair and that's it!
(Cody is much the same but I forgot to take useful progress pics đ)
Extended Art Advice đ
Tip #1: Draw lightly. Do not ever grip your pencil tight. This only leads to pain. You will notice I didn't erase at all. This is partly because I know what marks to make because I've done it a million times before and also because my lines are soft enough I can make lots of them and choose to deepen the ones that work.
Tip #2: Practice, practice, practice. Artistic skill is just loads and loads of accumulated knowledge and muscle memory from practice. This sounds boring but, in reality, you should make it fun.
Tip #3: Draw from observation/USE REFERENCE! The only reason I can get away without using reference when I'm feeling lazy is because I've drawn the same things over and over enough times it stuck. Aka I did lots of practice.
Now, to combine all these tips together, let's talk about how to use reference and how to make practice fun.
Reference is a huge aid when drawing at any point in your art journey. But I've found that in order to learn from what you're looking at, you need to think critically.
You obviously have something you want to draw. Reference helps you with that. You'll start out trying to draw what you see. Eventually you will run into an obstacle where you've messed up and things aren't looking good. This is to be expected. Every time this happens, think about what isn't working and find solutions with your reference. Analyze your subject to find your answers. Draw it again. Do not be afraid of failure. Each time you fail, you must look for a solution and this will lead you closer to your goal. This is how you grow as an artist.
I know, it sounds dreadfully boring and like a shit ton of work. It is a lot of work but you can make it fun! You love Obi-Wan and Cody so make Pinterest boards of Ewan McGregor and Temuera Morrison. Whatever you want to practice (may that be eyes, mouths, hands, hair, the face as a whole, etc) draw them. Ever hear tracing is bad? Fuck that. It's a perfectly valid tool to help you learn. If you're drawing digitally, pull up your reference in the art program of your choice, lower the opacity a little, make a new layer and trace what you see. I honestly find tracing to be very hard so when I've done this, I prefer to try to find shapes that will aid me when I'm actually drawing. If you're drawing traditionally, you can print out the photo and trace over it with a tracing paper or use a lightbox. You can also up the brightness on your computer screen and tape a piece of paper and trace that way.
Photos aren't the only references you can use! You can always look to your favorite artists' work and try to figure out how they do it. Often artists will break things down into more easily digestible shapes that will help you better understand how things work. Remember, if you ever copy or trace someone's art, it is for learning purposes only and you shouldn't post it. Feel free to take elements of people's art that you like and put your own spin on it though. For instance: I really love how this one artist draws men's tits so I studied a bunch of their art and now I'm much better at drawing them.
Oh and did you think you only get practice in while studying? Wrong! There's no reason you should shy away from trying to make the art you really want just because your skills aren't the most refined. Spoiler alert: you will grow the most when you push yourself out of your comfort zone. Draw codywan kissing. Draw it really enthusiastically and through profuse swearing and gritted teeth... but never a clenched hand. Don't hold back from the fun stuff just because it's hard. Aim high, land low, and shoot even higher next time.
In the beginning it will be especially frustrating. You'll feel like everything you make is a failure and nothing works out. You'll feel like you're not making any progress. Trust me, you are making progress and I believe in you.
If something really isn't working out and you find yourself growing distressed, take a break. It might last an hour or a week. Just take the break. Don't push it. Come back with fresh eyes and less stress. We all have days where nothing comes out right. Sometimes I can't even draw anything resembling a human face. It's okay. Whisper-yell expletives at your artwork and take the break. It will be okay.
With all that said, happy drawing and even happier codywan kissing!! đ§Ąđđ©”
#hope this helps!!!#(yes i did put my teaching hat on and break out my sketchbook to draw examples the moment i saw this in my inbox đ)#ask box#lasagna rambles#my art#codywan

Truth or Dare?
âź navigation | st masterlist | guidelines | drop a request âŻ
Summary: "What's something you would do if you knew that there were no consequences for it?" "Kiss you."
Word Count: 632
Pairing: Eddie Munson x Black!Reader
Warnings: mentions alcohol and drinking, but everyone is legal. Nothing but fluff, fluff, fluff!
AO3: here
âThis is why I never play truth or dare with you, you always take things too far!â You say as you dab an alcohol-soaked cotton ball on Eddieâs knuckles.
âWell, I wouldnât be hurt if someone hadnât egged me on-ow, ow!â He yelps as you press an alcohol-soaked cotton over a bloodied spot on his fingers. âCareful with the merchandise, sweetheart, these things are designer.â He flashes a roguish grin at you as he wiggles his free hand.
âEd, anything with a designer label slapped on it is stupid shit made for rich people with no taste. And I wouldnât have egged you on, if you didnât convince me to play.â You wrap a band-aid tightly around his finger.
âExcuse you, you can insult my taste in music all you want, but do not call me rich!â He cried in mock-insult. You rolled your eyes, but it couldnât hide the grin growing on your lips. The buzz of the cheap whiskey you swiped from your parentâs room was running through both your systems and the whole room seemed to be filled with a warm haze.
âYou know...â Eddieâs voice trailed off as he looked at you expectantly.
âKnow what?â You narrowed your eyes.
âWe technically havenât finished the game yet...â
âEddie-â
âJust one more! I can handle it!â
âNo you canât, in case you forget about the serious case of carpet burn you just got.â
âWell, Iâll just do truth this time.â
âEddie.â
âSweetheart.â The combination of the sugared nickname and his wide doe eyes made your heart flutter but you masked it behind an irritated glare. Knowing Eddie, he probably wouldnât let up until you caved.
âFine,â You gave in. âWhatâs your... Favorite color?â
âItâs red and you already know that. Câmon, you can do better than that!â
Maybe itâs the liquid courage running through your body, but you end up blurting out a daring question before you can even think about what youâre saying: âWhatâs something you would do if you knew that there were no consequences?â
A tiny part of you is screaming, but before you can even think about taking your question back, Eddie responds: âKiss you.â
Everything comes to a screeching halt. All you can hear is the faint sounds of your X-Ray Spex record playing in the background, and the blood rushing through your ears. Your face grows warm â you send a silent prayer thanking the heavens for the dark skin hiding your blush.
âI...â You canât even come up with a response. Does he actually want to kiss you? Has he been pining for you the same way you have for him, when you saw him ranting about the state of the music industry in the record store?
Something snaps: maybe it's the atmosphere, maybe it's the way your dark eyes stare into Eddieâs, maybe heâs just gotten tired of waiting for you to reply. Eddie surges forward and presses his oh-so-pretty peach lips to your full ones.
Itâs clumsy and inexperienced, and maybe just a little bit sloppy. But this kiss is all youâve ever wanted wrapped up in a little bow and served on a silver platter.Â
When you finally pull away from each other, you ask breathlessly, âHow long you been waiting to do that?â
âSince the day I met you at the Hideout,â he says, equally breathless.
âFor real?â
âReally.â You press your forehead to Eddieâs, reveling in the comfortable silence.
âYou wanna do it again, sweetheart?â
You donât wait for an answer, instead hungrily capturing his lips in another kiss.
âHow long have you been waiting to do that?â
âSince the day I saw you in the record store.â
âReally?â
âFor real.â
The two of you spend the rest of the night talking and laughing and kissing some more.

Hey, not too long ago. There was a prompt about bot crash landing on to earth and getting adopted by ten year old buddy. If requests are open, might I suggest the same prompt with Rodimus and Drift (separately).
The concept for these two interactions has been stuck in my brain for days.
Rodimus- I'm a dad now, this is my kid.
Magnus- you can barely take care of yourself, how do you expect to take care of a human child.
&
Drift- heeeeyyyyyy Ratchet... how do you feel about kids.
Wow! First request! I haven't put up a message for that yet...BUT consider this the first of many to come. I will be posting when the request will be open and some guidelines as soon after this posted.
Hope you enjoy this and feel free to request!
Rodimus and Drift (separately) accidentally crash lands and is slightly injured on Earth and meets a 10-year-old Human Buddy
SFW, Familial, platonic, mention of injury, Human reader
MTMTE/LL
Rodimus
Rodimus groaned as he sat up feeling slight pain in his struts. He looked around him and nearly did a double take. He was on Earth. It had to be, He recognize those pine trees and fuzzy moss anywhere. Unless he was on some weird simulation, or Swearth again.
He hears a small sneeze and attempts to reach for his blaster before his wrist began to hurt. He prepares for whatever is coming his way.
A small human with a bucket filled with water waddles into his clearing. They take one look at him and waddle their way to his acheing pede and proceed to dump the water on it.
âCold! That was cold! Why did you do that for?â--Rodimus
âYou were overheating. I had to cool you down. The names Buddy by the way Mr. McQueen.ââBuddy
âMcQueen? Whoânevermind. My name is Rodimus, rodimus Prime.â--Rodimus
He goes to shake Buddyâs hand but his wrist shot in pain causing him to hiss. Buddy dropped their bucket and reached into their pocket and pulled out 3 Hot Wheel bandaids and with a concentrated face began sticking them all over his servo.
âUhhh⊠What are you doing?â--Rodimus
âIâm helping obviously.â--Buddy
âWhile I appreciateââ--Rodimus
âShhh! Let the band aids do their thing Mr. Prime.â--Buddy
âRodimus. Just Rodimus. Anyways whereâs your parents? They should be too far.ââRodimus
âNever met them Rodimus.â--Buddy
âWait what?ââRodimus
Rodimus pauses taking in that information in
He tries to lighten the mood a bit and asks Buddy some basic questions he heard that little kids liked answering.
âSo, whatâs your favorite color?â--Rodimus
âI like orange. Like the one on you, itâs a pretty color.â--Buddy
âIt is! I always tell my friends itâs a cool color!â--Rodimus
âOh! Do you like cheetahâs? They are like, super-duper-fast!â--Buddy
âDonât know what that is but if its fast then it has to be awsome!â--Rodimus
âRight!ââBuddy
The two eventually fall into a nice conversation until Rodimus notices the sun fall across the horizon. He asks Buddy if they know a place where they could lie low for a bit. Buddy nods and begins walking further into the thick wood.
Rodimus slowly followed in tow.
Buddy eventually comes to an old, abandoned gas station. Good for Rodimus. No other humans to know of his existence. Buddy goes to the back and opens the back garage door. A place for Rodimus, sure a little cramped but still better than sleeping in the thick wood.
Buddy went back in the store and retrieved dozens of trash bags and a sleeping bag for their improv sleepover.
âAt a sleep over, you have to tell stories before we go to sleep.â--Buddy
âAny story?â--Rodimus
âAny story.â--Buddy
âWell, I have one. Let me tell you about the time I single handedly wrestled a Sparkeater.â--Rodimus
âI donât know what that is, but it sounds cool and creepy. Tell me!â--Buddy
To his surprise Buddy was fully interested in his stories. And it was cute to see Buddy fighting to stay awake to hear the rest of the story. They ended up falling asleep, curling next to Rodimusâs leg.
That sound? Thatâs definitely not Rodimusâs spark screaming at the cuteness before him. Nope, definitely not that.
Rodimus is confident that his team will find him so most of his time is spent with Buddy.
Between telling stories to one another, admitting one to the other of some loneliness before meeting the other. Rodimus defiantly pulls Buddy into a hug after one of those heavy emotion sessions about the past. Itâs good for the pair.
Itâs now been two weeks since Rodimus had come back to Earth. Buddy decided to take him to their favorite place to look at the stars. A little field not too far from their âhomeâ.
Approaching the clearing, they werenât expecting Lost Light to appear over the horizon. Rodimus was so happy to see his ship he almost forgot that Buddy was on his shoulder.
âTheyâre here! Theyâre here! Oh, I canât wait to get back to my Captainâs chair!â--Rodimus
âOhâŠâ--Buddy
âAnd I canât wait for you to get a mini chair next to mines!â--Rodimus
âWaitâŠâ
âYeah, we can have it with orange designs and all. Iâm pretty sure Ten wonât have much problem doing the details on the chair.â--Rodimus
Buddy just looks at him in disbelief and in happy tears hugs the side of Rodimusâs helm.
Rodimus finally catching to the reality for Buddy pauses a bit and does his best to hug them back telling them that he wouldnât leave them even if it made all of his reports disappear.
The Rod Pod touches down and Rodimus wastes no time in running to it with Buddy holding to his chassis.
Magnus was not prepared for Rodimus to show up with a little human.
âRodimusâââUltra Magnus
âBehold the newest addition to the Lost Light!â--Rodimus
âHi.â--Buddy
â⊠Iâll get the supplies ready thenâŠââUltra Magnus
Rodimus explains the whole story to everyone on the Rod Pod and does the same when he gets back to the ship. Buddy is having the time of their life meeting new friends. Rodimus is glad that he managed to help his friend and hopes to give them a better life than the one they had on Earth.
Drift
Drift wakes up to a cold shudder.
He looks around at his surroundings. It looked like he was in an old barn. A cold old barn with the paint falling off just like the snow outside. He then feels a sharp pain near his pede.
It not his room or the medbay. It wasnât even a part of the ship. He remembers⊠the crash⊠He remembered trying to send one last message to ratchet about his coordinates before he blacked out.
He goes to examine the wound when he hears little footsteps. Drift reaches for one of his swords when a little human came out of one of the barns shadows. They looked like one of the children in Swerveâs human movie night films.
The child had some protective layers on, but clearly not enough for the snow falling. They had a bunch of old miss matched blankets in their hands.
âHiâŠMy name is Buddy.â--Buddy
âHello? My name is Drift.ââDrift
Drift ever dumbfounded waved back before clutching his pede in pain again. Buddy carefully puts down the blankets and slowly moves towards his pede. Drift curious slowly releases his pede and watched the human pull out some sort of wrappings and began wrapping his pede the best they could.
âBuddy, as much as I appreciate the help, that isnâtââ--Drift
âShh!â--Buddy
âDid- did you just shush me?â--Drift
âYes, and Iâll do it again. Shh!â--Buddy
They then grabbed the blankets and attempted to⊠tuck him in?
He thanked them shivering a bit feeling the cold seep in.
The human smiled and left him alone in the barn before falling into a much-needed recharge.
The next morning, Buddy returned to check back and pulled a chair to sit right next to him. The two ended up talking about how Drift had gotten to Earth and how to get him back home. Drift was surprised to see Buddy eager to help him get back home.
âCâmon Drift. Letâs help you get home. And donât worry I wonât let any evil corrupt government spy take you.â--Buddy
âThat sounded oddly specific but thanks?â--Drift
Together the two end up borrowing some tech from a nearby scrap yard to help create a distress beacon. Sure, Drift was by no means an engineer, but he hopes that his time with Perceptor will help him now.
During the next 3 weeks it goes by, Drift learns a bit about Buddyâs life. About them being an orphan and finding haven in the old crumbly barn.
Buddy learns a bit about Drift too. They learn about how he used to be a bad guy before turning good, how he made some new friends on the Lost light, and his misadventures with a medic named Ratchet.
âYou really chopped the bad guyâs hands?â--Buddy
âYeah, the were going to hurt Ratchet. I had to protect him.â--Drift
âHe sounds like a nice guy. Wish I could meet him.â--Buddy
It was early dawn when Buddy woke up from a nightmare and came to Drift for comfort.
âYou- you just left! You didnât even say goodbye!â--Buddy
âBuddy, it was all a dream. A bad one. Anyways I could never leave you even if I tried to.â--Drift
âWhat? What about the Lost Light? What about Ratchet?â--Buddy
â⊠Would you like to come with me? Mean, You can say no and allââ--Drift
âYES!â--Buddy
Buddy attempts to hug Drift nodding furiously. A tearful confirmation that made the pair happy.
A sudden crackle is heard from outside the barn.
Drift is immediately up, holding Buddy close to his spark and sword in the other servo. Buddy is completely dwarfed in his servo and shakes a bit in the suspense in the air. Drift is prepared to fight whatever is outside of the barn.
Multiple footsteps are heard which only makes Driftâs grip on the sword tighten.
Then the door swings open and Drift kicks down the intruder straight in the chassis pointing the sword at them. Rodimus, on the ground groaning at the sudden attack.
âGeez Drift I know we had our differences but that was a bit harsh donât you think?â--Rodimus
âRodimus?â--Drift
âDrift!â--Ratchet
âRatchet!â--Drift
âOh thankâis that a human?â--Ratchet
âHi⊠Iâm Buddy. You must be Ratchet. Drift tells some of the best stories about you.â--Buddy
âDoes he now?â--Ratchet
âUh⊠Buddyââ--Drift
âShh!ââBuddy and Ratchet
âI like this kid.â--Ratchet
âAre you guys my parents now?â--Buddy
âWhat?ââDrift and Ratchet
âWhat?ââBuddy
And that is how Buddy ended up joining the Lost light and how Drift and Ratchet ended up being their guardians. Never leaving Buddy alone in danger and never feeling cold again.

Summary:Â You get a job at a bakery but your new boss only adds to your work
Character: chubby!baker!Thor
Please comment and reblog if it's not too much. I always love getting to chat about these stories and hearing all your ideas! You all are wonderful and loved.
The tea shop hasnât called back. Or the grocery store. Not even the cafe around the corner.Â
Youâre tired. Youâve been sending out resumes for months. Reviewing and editing and sending again. You donât get it. You have the proper credential and you have a decent amount of experience. Itâs just been a while. Â
You want to assume that people just arenât hiring but that wouldnât explain the postings and re-postings. They are still looking but somehow youâre just not good enough on paper. Disappointment knots in your throat as your inbox reveals no new emails. You need something. Even a job at the burger joint will do.Â
You grab your phone and sigh. You stand and shut the laptop lid as you tuck your cell into your back pocket. You go down the short hall and knock on the bedroom door.Â
âDelaney? You up?â You call through.Â
You get a groan in return. Sometimes thatâs all you get.Â
âAlright, Iâm gonna open the door,â you warn as you twist the knob slowly.Â
You push inside and reach to flip on the light switch. Your sister grumbles against and covers her face with her arm. The windows are covered with dark curtains that give a blue hue even when the space is lit. She hids behind her forearm as you near the bottom of her bed.Â
âAre you hungry?â You ask.Â
âIâd love some coffee,â the croaks.Â
âHow ya feeling?â You grab her walker and move it parallel with the side of the bed.Â
âItâs a rough one,â she warns and drags her arm away from her face. âI donât wanna get up.âÂ
You nod and trail your fingers along the top of the walker, âif you donât wanna...âÂ
âNo, I should,â she insists.Â
She braces herself visibly, closing her eyes as her cheeks strain and she sits up with a grunt. He arms shake and she kicks the blankets of her legs. Her movement is awkward and stiff. You hate seeing her struggle like this. You know sheâs just as unhappy about you seeing it. Thatâs why sheâs so stubborn.Â
âShould be enough left for another cup but I can make a new pot?â You offer as you hold the walker steady and she grips it, pulling herself to her feet. She hunches slightly and tries to stretch out her legs.Â
âMy feet are numb,â she stomps one foot then the other. âAnnoying.â She scowls and shakes her head as you let go of the walker and step back. She turns it sharply and lumbers forward with the aid of the wheels, âI can have the leftovers.âÂ
Patiently, you follow her to the door and into the hall. She wheels her way to the table and angles herself into the chair with her special cushion on it. Sheâs out of breath.Â
You go into the kitchen to give her some time to recover. You try your best to give her space, even in the one-bedroom. You sleep on the couch while she gets the bedroom. It makes sense, especially since lately her stipend has been covering most of your expenses.Â
You fill a mug for her and grab her pill box. You bring both to her and set them on the table. She takes the coffee first and swigs. She sighs as she sets it down heavily then snatches the box. She pops open the lid for that day of the week and scoops out the tablets. She sneers before she gulps them down with another mouthful of coffee.Â
âSo, you were up early?â She prompts.Â
âYou know Iâm a morning bird.âÂ
âEh, yeah, wish I had that problem,â she mutters. Some days, she sleeps more than sheâs awake. You tell her itâs part of her diagnosis but she wonât accept that. You can understand that but you know you canât really understand. Youâre not her.Â
âYeah, well, the birds wake me up,â you shrug. Â
A sudden buzzing ripple in your pocket. You pull your phone out of the loose sweatpants and look at the screen. Itâs a number you donât know. You doubt itâs important but you canât risk missing any calls.Â
âGimme a sec,â you hold up a finger and turn away. âProbably the building or something.â You tap the screen and put the phone to your ear, âhello?âÂ
âHello,â a deep voice rumbles over a calamity of noises, some metallic, others humming, âoh, apologies, give me a moment.â You wait as you hear movement on the other end and the cacophony finally subsides, âah, much better. Is this...âÂ
You blink and confirm that he has the right number.Â
âWonderful, I apologise for the early call but I tend to get started with the sun,â he explains, âanyhow, I was only just reviewing CVs and you are on my list of candidates. When would be a good day for an interview?âÂ
You turn back and glance at Delaney. She sips her coffee as she pulls the laptop close. She opens it and squints at it before she clicks. She scrolls as you watch her.Â
âUm, well, I could um, any day,â you answer, trying not to seem to desperate.Â
âToday?â He asks, âitâs a bit ridiculous but I wouldnât mind getting it over with.âÂ
âS-sure,â you answer, surprised by the suddenness. It's as if the universe had sensed you were about to give up. âIâm sorry, I donât think I... got your name.âÂ
âOh, yes, I did dive in head first. Thor Odinson, at Golden Crust bakery. You applied as a decorator?âÂ
âY-yeah, I remember,â you assure him, âjust wanna make sure I get to the right place. Uh, thanks, um, what time should I be there?âÂ
âIs noon doable?â He asks.Â
âNoon it is,â you say, barely containing your excitement. You try not to let it overflow, you donât want to get all worked up for another rejection.Â
âExcellent, I will see you then,â he confirms, ânow, excuse me, I think my sourdough has burnt.âÂ
The line clicks and you lower the phone, staring at it. The tapping of Delaneyâs fingers on the keyboard are the only noise amidst the the stunned silence. Itâs great you got an interview but what do you wear?Â
âHm, job hunt not going so well?â Delaney suggests as she leans into the screen.Â
âActually, just got a call for one,â you go to the table and put your phone down. âI have an interview.âÂ
âYou do?â Her eyes flash as she looks up, a rare glimmer of happiness. âThatâs awesome!âÂ
âUh, yeah, but itâs at noon so... Iâll have to leave for a bit.âÂ
âSounds good to me,â she scoffs, âperfect time to party.âÂ
You roll your eyes, âyouâre silly.âÂ
âWell, you know, if you get the job, Iâll have to figure out how to entertain myself,â she says, âand Iâll get to binge all the TV shows you hate.âÂ
âYouâre such an optimist,â you chide playfully.Â

Five mums have died after family courts allowed fathers accused of abuse to apply for contact with their children, a BBC investigation has found.
Some took their own lives, another had a heart attack outside court.Â
One mother, whose child was ordered to live with a convicted child rapist, would no longer eat and drink and "gave up living", friends say.
A separate study has found 75 children forced into contact with fathers who had been previously reported for abuse.
In some cases, in the England-wide study carried out by the University of Manchester and revealed for the first time by the BBC, the fathers were convicted paedophiles.Â
All the fathers in the study had responded in court to allegations of abuse with a disputed concept known as "parental alienation", in which they claimed the mothers had turned the child against them without good reason.Â
Dr Elizabeth Dalgarno, who led the research, says the concept is a "handy tool for abusers" and its acceptance by courts is a "national scandal".
Family law barrister, Lucy Reed KC, says the term is deployed "increasingly frequently" - but doesn't always mean the same thing. "It's quite often used by fathers to mean pretty much anything that is in opposition to their demand for a certain amount of contact."
The 45 mothers of the children in the University of Manchester study all reported serious health problems which they believed were linked to the stress of family court proceedings - including miscarriages, heart attacks and suicidal thoughts.
For months, the BBC has also been examining stories of traumatised women as part of a wider investigation into the way the family courts handle domestic violence claims in disputes between parents.Â
Because of the laws surrounding reporting of the court proceedings, intended to protect children, the women's names and some identifying details have been changed.
Dr Elizabeth Dalgarno says parental alienation is a "handy tool for abusers" in the family courts
Domestic abuse commissioner Nicole Jacobs says the "harrowing" cases uncovered by the BBC show there is a need for "urgent and wide-reaching reform" of family courts. Abusers aided by unregulated experts were using "so-called parental alienation" to "deflect from their own abusive behaviour", she says.
The BBC has learned the government is investigating whether further action is needed on "alienation" and - since we made the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) aware of our investigation - the judiciary has issued new draft guidelines for consultation on handling parental alienation claims in domestic abuse cases. But some experts say they don't go far enough.
Grace and the child rapist
Grace was madly in love with her partner at first - friends told the BBC - but later she discovered he had previously been jailed for raping a child. The friends said she was also abused by him.
After Grace and her partner separated, he refused to return their child and accused her of being mentally unwell. He said there was a risk she would "alienate" them from him.
In one message Grace wrote: "It's really bad. He kept my child"
The family court was aware of his conviction but believed the risk to the child could be managed.
One friend said Grace felt disbelieved throughout the court proceedings and "her soul just completely disappeared".
In one of her last messages to her group of friends, seen by the BBC, Grace wrote: "I'm unable to eat or sleep, it's a mess, I hate the family court. Dead dead dead."
Her health declined and she died after the final court hearing, in which her child was ordered to live with her abusive partner.
Another friend told the BBC: "When you emotionally and mentally give up, I suppose her body followed. It was almost like they signed the death warrant. It was 100% the family court."
Speaking anonymously, friends of Grace said her health declined after her child was ordered to live with a convicted abuser
Sarah's story
The case of another mother - who took her own life after two years of family court proceedings - highlights what a drawn-out legal process can do to the mental health of a vulnerable person.Â
A published judgement of the case - of the woman we are calling Sarah - details extreme abuse. Before her death, the judge determined in a fact-finding hearing that she had been raped by her partner, who drank excessively and became aggressive. Her partner punched her in the chest, slapped her in the face and threw her against the bannister.
He put CCTV in the house to monitor Sarah and their two children and would not even allow them to use the bathroom without keeping the door open. He also threatened Sarah, saying he would reveal footage of her inside the bedroom.
After she left him, he also placed trackers in her car, the judge concluded.Â
Parental alienation was brought up in proceedings, with the father saying he wanted contact with his children. Eventually the father was denied contact, but by then Sarah had killed herself.Â
The judge said she had "huge regret" that the proceedings had taken so long and had "evidently been so difficult for the mother to cope with".
Medical emergencies
When another mother died waiting outside the family court, a doctor told the inquest into her death that her cardiac arrest could have been linked to "broken heart syndrome" and the emotional distress of proceedings.Â
According to coroner's documents, seen by the BBC, the mother had alleged she was a victim of domestic violence. We understand parental alienation was not a feature of the case, and the woman's children had been removed from her care.Â
In another case, friends of a mother who had spent time in a refuge for domestic abuse victims told the BBC she had been so traumatised by her medical records being discussed in the case that she later refused to visit a doctor, even when she had a serious illness.
One friend said the mother had felt like "her ex, an abuser, was in control" in the court - because her former partner had labelled her as mentally ill and accused her of parental alienation, turning their child against him.Â
After her child was ordered to live with her former partner, the mother was afraid of being taken back to the family court and losing what little contact she had, another friend said.
The mother became unwell with a treatable illness but sought medical attention too late - and eventually died of sepsis.
Sheila: 'She never recovered'
Parental alienation was brought up by a family court judge in Sheila's first hearing, as a warning to her.
People close to her say she had suffered coercive and controlling behaviour for years from an abusive partner, and had been bombarded with emails, calls and messages at all hours - even after they split.
When her former partner applied for greater access to their child, loved ones urged her to see the family court as a friend - but they now say they bitterly regret that advice.
Before any expert reports had been commissioned, the judge said in their opinion the case involved parental alienation and the court took it extremely seriously.
People who knew her well said she was traumatised by the hearing - which went in favour of the father.
"She felt like she'd go to prison if she did anything wrong," the BBC was told. "She never recovered, she was now controlled by the family courts and her abuser."
Over a year later, she took her own life.
Suicide prevention charity the Samaritans says the causes of suicide are often complex and there may not be a single identifiable cause. But the judiciary in England and Wales has commissioned a report to examine the "potentially heightened risk of suicide" after involvement in family court proceedings.
Researchers studying the family court say they are concerned that claims of parental alienation appear to be increasing in private law cases like these - where one parent takes another to court, rather than an intervention by social services.
The University of Manchester found accusations of parental alienation were the common factor among the 45 women and their 75 children in its peer-reviewed study.
Carried out with the domestic abuse research group SHERA, and soon to be published in the Journal of Family Trauma, Child Custody and Child Development, the research examined the health impacts on abused women facing family court proceedings.
Dr Dalgarno, the lead researcher, says the mothers in these private law cases were not supported in the court. "Credible evidence of abuse was diminished or ignored completely - and when I say credible evidence, I'm talking about criminal convictions," she says.
Labour's shadow minister for domestic violence and safeguarding, Jess Phillips, says women's struggles with family courts are the "biggest issue" in her inbox
Dr Dalgarno says that based on self-reported surveys, it is estimated about 70% of the 55,000 private law family court cases each year involve allegations of abuse - but there is a shortage of reliable data on the overall prevalence of cases where parental alienation has been claimed.
There should be "emergency measures" to tackle the use of parental alienation claims in court, she says. "There are catastrophic health impacts with children and adult victims of abuse considering or attempting suicide."
Labour's shadow minister for domestic violence and safeguarding, Jess Phillips, says she has been contacted by thousands of women who have struggled with similar experiences inside family courts. "It's the biggest issue in my inbox," she says.Â
She compares it to abuse scandals such as those in Rotherham or the Catholic Church.
"This isn't a bad judge. This isn't a rogue court in one part of the country. This is a tactic of abusers that is being used across every part of our country."Â
The secrecy and power the courts could wield over a person is "delicious to domestic abuse perpetrators", she adds.
In cases where domestic abuse, sexual violence or any form of child abuse is alleged, the presumption of contact should be earned, not given automatically, Ms Phillips says.
She says the use of unregulated experts testifying about parental alienation need to be banned and there should be more data collected on the outcomes of family court cases.
'Complicated jargon'
The term parental alienation was first coined by the controversial US psychiatrist Richard Gardner as "parental alienation syndrome". He claimed mothers in acrimonious divorces brainwashed their children to believe they had been abused by their fathers and recommended completely severing contact to "re-programme" them.
This concept has been criticised for a lack of evidence - but there are those who say it has now been rebranded simply as "parental alienation" and, supported by some psychologists, it has frequently been used by family courts.
Lucy Reed KC, who promotes transparency about the workings of family courts, thinks processes should not be diverted by "complicated psychological jargon" - including the term parental alienation.
She says there needs to be better oversight of how courts are handling such allegations. "If there is domestic abuse, that could explain why the child rejects contact," she says.
Sir Andrew McFarlane, the most senior family court judge, has said the label of parental alienation is "unhelpful"
The President of the Family Court in England and Wales, Sir Andrew McFarlane, has warned the parental alienation label is "unhelpful" - and the Family Justice Council has recently issued new draft guidance for consultation on how to deal with "allegations of alienating behaviour".
It provides a step-by-step guide for family courts hearing parental alienation claims, especially in cases of domestic abuse. It focuses on dealing with evidence and finding facts first before judgements are made.Â
But some believe more needs to be done. Earlier this year, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on violence against women and girls called for the use of parental alienation to be prohibited globally.Â
The Domestic Abuse Commissioner for England and Wales, Nicole Jacobs, says too often courts consider claims of domestic violence and parental alienation simultaneously - which, she believes, is an "unsafe approach" and can put women and children at risk.Â
England's Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (Cafcass), which advises courts about children's best interests, referred to "parental alienation" in guidance as recently as 2021, but now adopts the term "alienating behaviours". But it told the BBC its advisers should first consider if factors, such as domestic abuse, mean the child's refusal to see a parent is justified.Â
In a statement, the Ministry of Justice described the cases of the women as "deeply tragic" and said that its thoughts were with those who had lost loved ones. It added that improvements had also been made to the family court system to protect domestic abuse victims, such as preventing cross-examination by abusers, expanding legal aid and allowing them to give evidence behind protective screens or by video-link.

Making a separate post for this post:
From the top down, command clones handle the punishment and oversight necessary to maintain unit/battalion cohesion. Their authority means their praise and critiques weigh more in general than that coming from a lower ranked clone (doesn't mean that your buddy calling you a good soldier is totally useless, obviously).
They can mandate interventions and reconciliations, and they approve/deny transfer requests. Command clones are just as much a brother of the battalion as every other clone, but in the way that a parent is part of a family.
Command clones also lead many of the chants, marching, mourning, and victory songs clones sing before, during, and after battle. Morale starts with the commanders the same way (most) orders start with them.
In this sense, they're keepers of the culture and cohesion because they lead the battalions. There's a general (unspoken) guideline about the standard practices of a clone battalion, and each commander might have their own take on it. The ones who win a lot will sing more victory and march songs. Battalions focused more on relief might sing less mourning songs. Some might follow the commander's lead/lack thereof regarding interacting with civilians.
The medics take a fundamentally similar position to the commanders in regards to keepers of the culture. However, in many ways theirs is a more narrowly-focused, intimate series of interactions due to the nature of their job. Medics are the first witnesses of death, culturally. They can determine who lives or dies, and they have to do so with a keen sense of practicality and impartiality. They have to be level headed, fast, and efficient the same way a command clone must be.
But also, the medics are sworn to secrecy (another unspoken understanding of their job). They hear the ramblings of delirious, injured, semi-conscious, and sleep-walking clones. Troopers confess fears to their squads and then their medics, if need be. Even if a clone doesn't explicitly say what's bothering them, it can be inferred: jitteriness, seeking pain medication for long-healed injuries, seeking sleep aids, avoiding certain qusetions about certain injuries, etc.
So medics maintain cohesion on a more physical, but also more emotional level than command clones. Both roles are equally important! But they're different. Clones will go to their squadmates, their sergeants, and the medic before they resort to a command clone, who necessarily has to take a formal and more clinical (for lack of a better word) approach to conflict resolution since they need to keep everyone in line.

PAC: Messages from Your Deceased Queer Loved One
Hello beautiful people! Happy Pride Month! This month has come to an end quickly, but we live on forever! I wanted to dedicate this reading to the people we have lost in the LGBTQ+ community to violence, suicide, illnesses and more. They deserve to live long lives without disruption. As the small pieces of progress rise, there comes more regression which is why it is important to emphasize the safety of queer people everywhere. Any queer person you have felt a personal connection to will be sought out for insight through my True Heart Tarot Deck. Rest in peace to the beautiful angels that have suffered on this Earth. Letâs hope that they have a peaceful afterlife.Â
Before I make my temporary departure from this community, I feel that it is important for me to give you guys a proper goodbye. I will drop a couple more PACs before this month ends. But I want to remind you all that I have a Five Dollar Friday Sale coming on this Friday! If you are interested in my sale, please refer to my guidelines. Remember, if you have more than one question, that is an additional $5. I will get to you in a timely manner. But without further ado, please choose the iconic queer film still that you feel most connected to. đ«¶đ«¶đ«¶
Top Left-to-Bottom Right: (1-4)
TW// mentions of familial abuse, violence, suicide, addiction, illness.
Pile One: Hello, Pile One. Your loved one wants you to know that you do not need to be living the fast life. I feel like I am talking to people who feel like they need to grow up fast. Something significant could have happened to you when you were sixteen or to your deceased loved one. You still have time, there is no need to rush the process. I feel like your loved one passed due to an overdose or because they succumbed to HIV/AIDS. They want you to learn from what they have been through. You do not have to fit in with what the crowd is doing. Be careful when you are out with certain people this weekend. Everyone does not have the best intentions for you. It feels like you need to clean house. Your circle does not seem mature enough to understand the transformation you are about to undergo. You are being protected, specifically by a younger person on the other side. This person passed away about 10-15 years ago. Maybe even longer. They want you to start acting like you care about your life. Letâs change our ways for the better, shall we? This may go unheard until a later time, when you really need to hear it but you will get the message.Â
Cards Used: King of Swords, 8 of Wands, The Empress, The Moon, 2 of Discs.
Pile Two: This pile feels very heavy in comparison to the last pile. Pile Two, this death feels very recent, like within the last year or so. This also has some romantic undertones. This could have been your partner, or a friend that you never confessed your true feelings for. This person could have expressed suicidal ideations to you. They admire the way that you took care of them while they were depressed. You took them out of their comfort zone and introduced them to a new life. I am channeling the movie âPerks of Being a Wallflowerâ. I think this person left you with a lot of questions when you died. But they want you to know that you did all that you could. There is nothing that you could have done to turn back the hands of time. Whatâs done is done. They donât want you to become obsessive over their spirit, but celebrate all that theyâve done and accomplished thus far. Donât try to save everyone because everyone doesnât need to be saved. You will never fully heal from this trauma but you will get closure. It feels like you need to move far away from where you are. It brings up too much drama and bad memories. You deserve to be in a place where you feel safe and grounded, even if it means making the move alone. Focus on moving forward from now. They will always have love for you, even in the afterlife. Even if you move on. In fact, when you start dating someone, they will pull the strings behind the scenes for the union to form.Â
Cards Used: The Hermit, 3 of Cups, Ace of Discs, The Empress, The World, 2 of Wands.Â
Pile Three: Hello, Pile Three! This is exactly who you think it is. If you have been smelling certain scents or have seen things randomly fall, then this is definitely for you. This feels like a cousin or a sibling. I feel like you found out some stuff about this person after they died and it shocked you. âWell, what now?â, they ask. Are you going to look at them differently? I feel like they had a bit of a reputation, but theyâre highly misunderstood. They want you to focus on making peace with who they were. Donât try to justify their mistakes/choices. It is what it is. Instead, focus on more important things like attaining your goals in the physical realm. Some of you may be in the gym using it as a coping mechanism. Make a goal so that you can beat your PR. Something about your childhood is significant here. Unfortunately, I feel like some of you were victimized as a child by this person and because of that, you donât know how to view this person through an objective lens. It makes you feel guilty because you feel like you should be focused on the good stuff. You have a complicated relationship with this person, even after death. I am channeling this book called âAll Boys Arenât Blueâ. The author opens up about an inappropriate relationship he had with his cousin and he addresses his cousin with respect, but still holds him accountable for taking advantage of him. For others of you, I feel like this person is sorry for exposing you to the wrong crowd. I heard âthe secret is outâ. At some point in their life, they stopped caring about themselves and in return, this affected those around them. They want you to find room in your heart to forgive them. It will be a long and complicated journey, but they have hope.Â
Cards Used: 6 of Cups (RX), Temperance, The Moon (RX), 7 of Swords, The High Priestess, Justice, The Star.Â
Pile Four: Pile Four, your loved one does not want you to keep up with appearances. Be as true to yourself as you should be. Not all of us have the privilege of being able to come out and be ourselves. Some of us have to blend in and be like everyone else because thatâs what we have to do to keep ourselves safe. If you suspect that anyone was in the closet in your family (immediate family to be exact), then you were right. This person was family oriented, so they chose to stay silent about their identity. Plus, itâs no oneâs business. But once again, this was not a choice. They feared being exposed or treated as an outsider. But they see what you are doing and they want you to keep doing it. Keep making friends with other queer folks. Go to pride events. You may find members of your chosen family there. You are a bit naive right now, so you might not understand the full complexities of what theyâve gone through. They understand that you could be upset with them but keep the family close. Do not isolate yourself; even if it means talking to two family members, please keep in contact. It feels like this person was a bit of a mystery. So, you should ask about their history. Get in contact with people who were close with them and get to the bottom of their story. They want you to make an altar for them, so you can connect with them. It will make all the difference in the world, love.Â
Cards Used: 10 of Cups, Judgment, The Hierophant, The High Priestess, 10 of Discs, 7 of Wands (RX)

It's disability pride month! Let's check out some ttrpg content from disabled creators, shall we?
This Game Takes Place in Dracula's Castle by Jack Blair
Jack has created several very cool block tower games, but this one is my favourite. I don't know if it's the clever premise, the art, or just the fact it's about vampires that got me, but this duet game of tensions between Dracula and Jonathan Harker is simply fantastic.
Homebrew Disability Systems for 5E by harpoon_gun
D&D 5E is still one of the most popular games out there, and this homebrew system is invaluable when creating disabled characters. Using these comprehensive guidelines you can create characters with impaired vision, movement or hearing; chronic fatigue, chronic pain, limb differences, or even a panic disorder. Also included are a variety of assistive aids for your characters.
GRIM by EfanGamez
An FPS inspired game where skills are divided into Combat Skills and Roleplaying skills. There's some really intriguing worldbuilding here too! On the planet GRIM, the only structure is an ancient obelisk. Countless explorers have set out to explore the area, but none have returned. Now it's your turn!
Eureka by Agency of Narrative Intrigue and Mystery
Supernatural urban investigations! This game recently had a successful Kickstarter, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of it in the future. You can play a Normal Person, or a monster who is stronger in combat but has some monstery weaknesses (which may or may not involve needing to eat people.) I'm all about playing monsters any chance I can get, and this one might have gorgons in the full release, so I'm sold.
Blades in the Dark: Mobility Equipment by Aurelia
Aurelia sells a lot of cool accessibility related content (including accessibility cantrips for Pathfinder and D&D), but I have a weakness for Blades in the Dark and so this is the one I'm linking too. The idea of a Hound with a clockwork animal companion is just too cool! Our group's Hound has a ghost cat. Maybe they would be friends.
Feel free to reblog with additional content!

Loving your D&D stuff.
thank you! however you are going to get a long answer because you have opened an opportunity for me to list things, which is my favorite
very few of the campaigns I'm in / have latched on to that my friends play are actually in D&D any more, for various reasons (primarily 1. WOTC sucks, 2. the system is not really designed for the kind of thing we like the most, which is "impactful character choices," and 3. "why play skyrim as a farming sim"). The games I've been a full player in are, aside from 5e:
Eberron / An Airship Is A Horse That Loves You is in Pathfinder 2e! We started in D&D 5e, which is why there are some semi-homebrewed imports, but it's a very similar system to 5e in gameplay PLUS Pathbuilder is a desktop and app program that will automatically put together character sheets for you, which is arguably the worst part of 5e. It's great, and I highly recommend considering it as an alternative to 5e if you're wanting something that still has the combat rolls and everything but also has more innate design for doing shit as a character. ALSO also there's a ton of included assistive devices, which range from normal stuff like wheelchairs and hearing aids to specifically magical stuff like my favorite: a wheelchair that has legs and can kill. Derien is my PC in this one, fresh out of the oven.
The only other actually active PC status I have had in this group was in an Eyes On The Prize oneshot! EOTP is a fake-marriage game (made by @iraprince !) with flexible setting / character guidelines that's played with a deck of cards, and I highly recommend it for shenanigans. My character was Moonlight Saidluck, a bug centaur fae who accidentally let a human into the fairy world and was pretending this newcomer was their partner and definitely not a human who had accidentally entered the fairy world. I played the one shot with two other couples, which did make it run overtime, but it was a delight. We also had very little trouble playing remotely, with one person in charge of cards and points tracking on an online draw-party style page.
The other games I'm more a spectator in, and then occasionally contribute ideas like fucked up boats or extended debates about magical darkness and the water cycle. That big list of alternative systems is ~
Persona: The Tabletop RPG (PersonaBS)
Quest (Luxknights)
Kids on Bikes (Streams of Consciousness)
Lancer
Beam Saber (AFI, but we haven't been calling it that)
Girl by Moonlight (MMM / Magical Girls)
Cyberpunk TTRPG
Numenera
Monster of the Week
aaand probably more that I'm forgetting because we're. Quite prolific about our play pretend time (and I've got a few concepts brewing that I still really want to nail down - Tanglethorn, the unnamed one about the sinkhole and Bad Hand may grace this list someday if I really buckle down to iron out the wrinkles)
I'm glad you're enjoying my little guys though! I just love a chance to get people into other TTRPG systems, especially when most of them are easier to learn and play than D&D and there's such a wide range of options.
Here's a little Moonlight png, as a reward for reading

So you want to write a deaf/HoH character
Photo © Durgesh Kumar, all rights reserved
Admittedly, this isnât something Iâve done myself. Iâve never written a deaf or hard of hearing character, but Iâve had people ask in a Discord server Iâm in âhey, does anyone have any resources on how to write a character that is deaf or hard of hearing?â and I took the chance to find some resources for them â ones that turned out to be pretty valuable, and that I want to share here.Â
I love when people include disabilities in their writing, whether visible or invisible. To me, it makes the characters feel more alive and adds another layer of depth to who they are as a person, even though theyâre⊠not real. Adding that aspect to characters gives something for a group of readers to relate to, and can help them feel seen where they might not be seen otherwise.Â
It can be difficult to write about a disability that you yourself have never experienced, and with the fact that you havenât experienced said disability is something that can lead to stigmas and stereotypes that arenât necessarily accurate, especially if youâve only viewed what outside media has shown you, or what youâve observed in public settings. Research is so important for topics like this, especially to find resources from people who do experience it on a daily basis, whether itâs something that has developed over time, or something that they were born with.
Without further ado, the resources Iâve discovered.
https://www.tfrohock.com/blog/2016/9/12/writing-deaf-characters - this blog by T. Frohock is very to the point. She begins by saying she doesnât normally write âhow-toâsâ, but this one is an exception, and works to provide her own experiences, open about the fact she uses a cochlear implant to hear those around her â or not hear, if she chooses to âturn you offâ in her âaboutâ on her blog. She gives a short overview of types of hearing loss, and communication, and also recommends reaching out to an audiologist to learn more about the types of hearing loss. She also gives two links to .org websites if youâre looking for sources. Sheâs also written two companion pieces to this initial post. The first one is for hearing authors, and the second is about sensitivity readers. Iâve linked both of these in this section, so check them out as well if youâd like a more in-depth look at T. Frohockâs advice.
https://www.sfwa.org/2021/03/23/how-to-write-deaf-or-hard-of-hearing-characters/ - this post by Melanie Ashford on the sfwa website gives a good guide on how to approach deaf/hoh characters. Melanie herself is a hard of hearing author, so her advice is profound and solid, as she is a primary source on how to approach writing these characters. She makes a point in her introduction to say sheâs been using hearing aids for 4 years (at the time of posting the article in 2021) and reminds the reader that everyone experiences hearing loss differently, and has different feelings about auditory assistance devices, such as the cochlear implants and how many people in the Deaf community believe them to be controversial and unwanted. She references the social stigma surrounding the Deaf community, and also reminds the reader that deaf characters should be just as well rounded as hearing ones. Though her article isnât in depth, itâs a great guideline to follow.
https://www.tumblr.com/concerningwolves/168567651639/writing-deaf-characters-speech-is-speech - tumblr user concerningwolves posted this in 2017, and with more than 19,000 likes and nearly 14,000 reblogs, itâs a valuable resource for those who want to write HoH characters. Though a tad aggressive, concerningwolves makes it a point to be, well, to the point and separates their post into two separate posts. Iâve yet to find the second one, and honestly, digging through 7 years of blog posts to find the second one is a little overwhelming, but even this one post is a goldmine of doâs and donâtâs for this particular community.
https://deafaq.tumblr.com/post/190549529559/comprehensive-guide-to-writing-deaf-characters - deafaq on tumblr has a comprehensive guide to writing deaf/HoH characters. This blog in itself is not meant to be for writing help, but they had gotten enough questions about it to make this post back in 2020. Compared to concerningwolvesâs tumblr post, this one has less than 2,000 likes but is still full of good and valuable information for the reader.

hiiiiii
as a pre top surgery transmasc i adore your art so much. it makes me so happy and gives me hope that someday i too will be able to get top surgery!
okay so i like asking peoples personal experiences, so what were the most interesting things about getting ready for top surgery, the surgery itself or the recovery process in your eyes?
also how long did it take to get off of the binder after the surgery? thats the part i worry about the most bc i cant wear a binder bc my lungs are inept (affectionate) so i worry how thatll go but i mean itll be worth it obviously.
anyway whatever you are comfortable sharing about the surgery process, id love to hear it!!! have a great rest of your day
Thanks so much :) I'm answering this publicly in case other people find this information useful, but let me know if it's a problem and I'll take it down right away. Also feel free to message me with any follow-up questions.
I should let you know a lot of my comics are a bit dramatized for comedic purposes. I don't lie at all but sometimes I phrase things to be funny, not accurate ;)
Let's get into it - first of all, speaking as someone who needed top surgery but felt it was a pipe dream for soso long, I'll say a) it was well worth the wait and b) it wasn't nearly as hard as I expected it to be, both logistically and physically. I had the advantage that I live in a pretty liberal state in transgender law and financial aid, but the disadvantage of having a few medical conditions that I expected to make the surgery pretty hard on me (and that blocked me a little in terms of getting medical permission). If you live in the USA, I may have more specific legal guidelines for you if you want it.
In terms of the binder! I actually have a chest deformity that made wearing a binder extremely painful and probably damaging. I usually had to opt for sports bras etc., and this was a big concern for me, too, in terms of the binder that you have to wear after surgery. The vest the hospital gave me was problematic because it didn't fit me right and was causing a lot of pain. I'm not sure if my deformity had to do with it or not. But the point is: I told them the problem, and they gave me the option of just going out and buying Under Armour compression sportswear. This SAVED me, and it was FAR less painful than any binder or binder substitute I've ever worn. I could wear it 24/7 and barely even notice the pain, and it was only about $20 online. This is definitely worth asking about ahead of time to any potential surgeon. Even if this particular solution doesn't work for your case, they probably have others. There are a lot of us with bad lungs/ribs!
I was required to wear the compression shirt for 6 weeks. After that, I've chosen to continue wearing it on and off because I still have a little swelling. They expect that to be done by 6 months.
The worst parts were the vest (before I replaced it with the sportswear) and the drains. The worst part about the drains is they do hurt, and if the tubes shift at all you can feel it inside your body (BAD feeling). Unlike everything else, they were gradually hurting more the longer I had them. I got them out after a week, and after that recovery was no problemo at all. The drains are the hard part - I think most people agree with me on this one. Some people experience pain getting them removed, too, but for me it just felt a little weird.
The most interesting thing to me was the result itself. The wound, the bruising, the stitches, the glue, and the scars. Watching my own skin heal itself into a new shape was fascinating! I was allowed to change the dressing on day 2 and it was a pretty gruesome sight, but it also felt RIGHT. I was expecting a difficult adjustment. Even with the gender euphoria, a lot of trans people say they felt woozy or strange when they first saw the results. It can take a long time for your brain to adjust to your new shape. But for some reason, for me, it just immediately felt right. It's already hard to imagine my chest having ever been different.
