Fredrick is the oldest of the three, known for hanging out with PlushTrap and getting into trouble with him.

Fred is the middle child. He doesn't really like hanging out with PlushTrap as much as Fredrick does, knowing that he'll just get himself in trouble.

Fredly is the youngest. He's literally "the" iPad kid of the three brothers. He quotes all the "funny" and or "memes" he sees. Take away his iPad if you dare.

when making backgrounds- like Zelda and Wilds house or Lofts home with Zelda and Groose- did you base the backgrounds on your own ideas of what the characters would live in? Like if they’d have clutter or silly little notes in the background. I love how your backgrounds are just- chefs kiss- so simple but shows us a glimpse into the characters mental state (as all good rooms do *stares at my messy one*)

And I guess the answer to that first question is all of them above? Bonus Links is, of course, an extremely derivative work. LU was my first introduction to the links-meet-au format, so I’d be remiss not to give credit where credit is due! Probably many ideas I’ve absorbed from fics I’ve read, and headcanons I vibe with that come from the wider fandom. The idea for Bonus Link’s actual plot though originally started from my fascination with Skyward Sword’s lore. I know not everyone’s a huge fan of how much that game retconned, Demise’s “curse” in particular, but there’s a lot of ideas in that game that I find REALLY interesting, especially in ways that the game doesn’t really acknowledge at all. How would Skyward Sword Link feel, if he found out he truly didn’t finish the job? That the cycle continues on and on beyond him? That was the jumping off point.

Because it’s a cycle, I get a lot of ideas from like, which Links have experienced similar events, and how their experiences compare and contrast. What becomes history, and what actually happened? And I also use a lot of my own experiences playing the games as inspiration! I’d played as many as I had access to when I started the au in 2021, but I’ve made it my mission to play every single game a Link is featured in before they get introduced in the comic lol. Still got a few more to go, but I’m almost there!

As for the second question, absolutely! If I’m showing someone’s home in the comic, I try really hard to add details that tell you something about them. At the very least, I want them to look lived in lol

like, Slate still having the champion’s weapons on display in his house. Zelda’s mostly taken over the first floor as her workshop, even adding a Sheikah tech furnace somehow. She’s filled her room with pictures she’s taken on the walls. She’s got a sand seal plush from Riju, a Sheikah jacket from Impa. Her workspace is a little cluttered!

On the other hand, Slate’s room upstairs looks a little less personal. He’s got some pictures on the wall, and some plants growing from around hyrule (that Zelda has kind of commandeered for research lol) but otherwise he’s left it how Bolson and co furnished it. If anything, it’s mostly just for storage. He doesn’t actually spend much time sleeping here, but Zelda still doesn’t want to take it from him.

Loft, Groose and Zelda’s room is very cozy ( I should have added more blankets. Imagine like 4 times the amount of pillows and blankets) and tidy, but there’s still a little mess— shoes left out, basket of poorly folded clothes, etc. Cute knickknacks, mostly made by loft and groose! It’s not in this sc but groose’s comb is somewhere I think lol

Idk if iced shared this detail before, but Loft put a lot of effort into designing and carving (probably with some assistance) these columns for the house! Even though carving’s hard for him these days. It was his biggest contribution.

Wow you guys really seemed to like the steampunk AU, that post got way more attention than I was expecting, so here's some more information and stuff:

-The world is still like a videogame that they got trapped in but now it’s a steampunk adventure-y type game with circus elements 

-The adventures are probably a bit different

-They’re probably more like, fantasy adventure video game style things with like puzzles and fighting? Idk I'm not a big gamer I've never actually played any steampunk video games. What are those like?

-Instead of circus tent, there is a big wagon thingy that I'll draw eventually

-there's still not much of a story and I'm not sure If there'll ever be

-I'd also kinda want to make some mini comics for this au but I suck at coming up with ideas :/

Pomni:  

-She likes to craft things

-friends with Gangle and Ragatha

-still very anxious but less anxious then normal Pomni?

-has a very logical mind and is good at puzzling things together but also doesn’t do well under pressure and typically panics in stressful moments where these skills might be useful

-She can play the flute because flutes are good, they are the best instrument. (I am totally not biased just because I play the flute in marching band)

-My headcanon for regular Pomni is that she’s less anxious than she initially is in the pilot after getting used to things, like, beyond the anxiety, her actual personality is very cheery and friendly, also very logical, because idk it just fits her somehow? So yea, that headcanon also applies to this au 

-but of course she is still an absolute nervous wreck because yes

-How else is she supposed to react in this situation

-also look at those fingerless gloves I want those

-the gears in her eyes turn when she is thinking

Gangle:

-Also likes crafting things

-friends with Pomni, Zooble, and Kinger

-she often borrows  sewing needles from Ragatha to sew her comedy mask back together when it’s torn, and also constantly tries to craft new ones

-My main headcannon for normal Ragatha is that her button eye is a parallel to an eye injury she had in real life before joining the circus, but in this AU she probably acquired the injury in this universe.

-she’s good at using tools and weapons but not in like, a mechanic sorta way like Zooble but in a defense sorta way

-like, she’s very kind and caring but also sorta tough and even though her body is good at falling apart, she knows how to use strategy to fight and um wait what would they even be fighting-

-idk I haven’t thought about that yet

-Gloinks?????

-do those exist in this au???

-overall she is very, “tries to help everyone else and seems very tough on the outside but is prone to falling apart both physically and mentally but just gets good at quickly patching it up and ignoring it until it become too much for her to bear”

Hello tumblr, i give you this Stranger Things x Percy Jackson Au because i love both and with the show coming out i had to finally draw it

After the thingy there will be my headcanons/how i imagine the Au plus some closeups ^^

So i separrated the seasons as years, yes i did it so every season gets its own bead (also will make it easier to navigate the timeline lol) For now just byler in this au, but if y'all like it i'll talk more about it, so, ekhem:

• In this Au both Wheelers and Byers still live in Hawkins, i wanted to highlight that these two have been friends longer than others and overall just spent more time together (Yes, this will make the California move way more painfull than if they had never lived close, yes i do love my angst)

• Both Will and Jonathan are sons of Poseidon (it just makes sense to me idk why, i will not elaborate further rn)

•Mike and Nancy are actually children of Nike (You can't look me straight in the eyes and tell me that Karen had never been with a woman) but because its the 80s and PJO plot is like semi canon in this Au, the minor gods still weren't claiming their children, and both of them will stay unclaimed until i feel like writing an arc. But it will 100% give them a feeling like they're lesser than others and the need to prove themselves. Which i feel like is pretty close to the way they act in the canon

•In the Au The Upside Down is just Tartarus, so yeah, basically hell

•The story itself is similiar (almost the same) as the show just happening in the PJO universe

•Since Mike is unclaimed and has to sleep in the Hermes Cabin (for context Steve, Carol and Tommy are all kids of Hermes, so its kind of a nightmare to stay there, especially in the first few years) he often sneaks into the Poseidon Cabin and has sleepovers with Will

• '83 is actually their second or third (i didn't think this through yet ) year at camp, cause thats when they meet El, and the Party knows each other for some time now

•Hopper is a horse ( a centaur technically but it sounds funnier), this has nothing to do with Byler but i just find that really funny

After all that reading have some nice closeups as a reward

Also prepare yourselves for absolutely horrendous low quallity horses

AU setup: all the boys are neuro-spicy except Angeal, who has depression/anxiety. I HC that GZ are more ADHD-leaning and SC are more Autism (ASD)-leaning

Fidgets

Everyone has a fondness for really dense, tiny objects. Cloud has a heavy, cold wolf charm that has tiny shards of ice-type materia for eyes. It's always cold and reminds him of home.

Zack definitely has a slap bracelet that doubles as one of those reversible sequin thingies. It has a frog head. He either violently slaps it on things when he's wound up, or meticulously makes all the sequins go the same direction when he's hyper focusing on it, or roughly pets it up and down to change colors rapidly, or digs the sequins under his fingernails. He also fiddles with the felt tongue and makes it go floopfloopfloop and lick his friends.

Sephiroth doesn't understand at first, and Zack's the one who buys him a plethora of toys. Some of them he hates, some he loves, and most of them he keeps in a basket for his friends at his flat. There are a couple noisy ones he hides from Zack, or "accidentally" lets Zack steal. I think his favorite would have to be something that goes with his uniform, probably the ornate belt buckle he has in canon. He can trace the design with his fingers or fiddle with the tassels. I'm mostly thinking of the round one, but it could be other parts of his uniform too.

Genesis has puzzles of all sorts around him at all times. He prefers quieter ones made of wood and string that he can carry around, but has loud metal ones, large boxes, etc. He sadly broke the water ring puzzle Zack gave him in a fit of rage and never solved it. It's just as well, the thing was tacky. (It is not just as well, he still gets angry thinking about it and wants to beat it SO BADLY, feels guilty for breaking it, and feels ashamed for letting it best him).

Angeal enjoys solving Gen's puzzles from time to time.

Angeal: is bewildered, but bought extra to keep on hand

Genesis: LOVES THEM, and won't say so in those exact words; rather, he has a myriad of scientific evidence to back his opinion up

Sephiroth: every spoon is a tiny spoon to the lorg boi

Zack: likes them, but also needs normal and big spoons to shovel food in

Cloud: secretly really likes them, but also likes comically large, inappropriate spoons, like wooden stirring spoons

Stims

One of Seph's subtle stims is swishing his hair. Idk if you've ever done that with like a high ponytail or something, but you just very subtly move your body and all the hair goes whoosh whoosh.

Zack starts squatting subconsciously.

Cloud likes ducking his head into his shirt/scarf.

Genesis is very rhythmic, he likes tapping, humming, whistling, and reciting certain poems.

Angeal will find himself tapping along to Gen sometimes.

Food

Angeal makes an absurd amount of buttered noodles with milk for Cloud when he's suffering with mako, and figures out how to make bland enough noodles from scratch because he's a legend.

(yeah, this is a bit of a stereotype, but have you HAD buttered noodles when you can't eat anything else?!)

Meanwhile, sensory-seeking Genesis and Zack bring home the weirdest, most flavorful things they can find.

Zack: Cloud! Look at this! I have crawdad claw fingers now!!! RAWWRRR!!!!

Cloud: ...enjoy your creek bug.

Not that Cloud can't eat almost anything; growing up poor forced him into many sensory experiences with food he Did Not Enjoy, but now that he has more of a choice, he saves the DEMON SPAWN FIRE SAUCE HOT WINGS foods for Zack.

Genesis pretends to be a snob, so his weird food has fancy names and costs a pretty penny, like escargot.

Sephiroth, much like Cloud, can choke down almost anything in the name of ingesting calories, but he likes simple, tasty things that aren't mushy.

Angeal will try most things and is a member of the clean plate club.

Deep Pressure

All the boys love hugs from their partners, and these 5 gentlemen give the best deep pressure hugs ever. The strength in their arms makes the pressure so strong, satisfying, and secure. They can also be found laying on each other just to get smooshed and feel grounded.

Zack wanders around meowing, setting off Cloud and Sephiroth.

Angeal joins in because he thinks he hears a cat, and he's a good sport.

Genesis: Angeal. Why are you meowing.

Angeal: just talking to the cat, don't mind me 🙂

Genesis: ....YOU DON'T HAVE A CAT

Angeal: ...I don't have a cat, what the heck?

Zack, Cloud, Sephiroth: meow

Sephiroth is very good at imitating sounds; it makes sense though with his alien shapeshifter genes. He also chirps, like, a LOT, like a cat luring in his prey

With your language AU, I remember watching a video about a guy speaking angrily nonesense in an Indian accent and people thinking he was very angry. Imagine this as the Creator speaks angry gibberish to people and they just assume that the Creator is cursing them or something. (Or like when they speak gibberish to babies and everyone's like, "Aw the Creator is teaching that baby their divine language")

this hurts to think about but I’ve thought about it a lot. especially considering that 2/3 of my main men are probably going to die — Dain is very likely going to sacrifice himself for the greater good at some point, and Brennan… idk. but nobody is safe here, as RY has told us many times 🥺😭

and it’s complicated. using Liam as an example:

I’m still writing one-shots for him, that take place during the time he’s alive in canon.

he’s still going to be included in my little two-sentence thingies like “that time of the month”, “study season”, etc.

I’m continuing Liam & Spark through Resson and on her own through the end of Iron Flame as she processes her grief (and interacts with Sloane). that will probably be the end for her, unless I go back and fill in the gaps with more. for Onyx Storm, she might make cameos in other gf’s stories, as an unnamed water-wielder or “your friend” etc, or she might just stop showing up entirely. we’ll see.

the same would be true of any of our other seven boyfriends if they were to pass, but also as of right now, I have “happy endings” planned for them: everyone’s getting married, I’ve already named their kids if they’ll have them, Tyrrendor is given sovereignty and Xaden and Duchess are in charge now, Aaric becomes king of Navarre, standard stuff. probably going to be one chapter each (~3k). I’ll also take requests for the happy-ending AUs once they’re posted, like… “can we see more of Sawyer with his girls, or Garrick and Angel picking baby names”, idk, I’m just throwing things out here.

so to synthesize:

if any of our seven living boyfriends pass, I’ll still take requests for them within their time in canon, they’ll get the above things I outlined for Liam (one-shots, blurbs, headcanons, the GF’s pov through their death and possibly for a while after, and then the happy ending as a bonus chapter of “what could have been”.)

if any of the girls or other side characters pass, I’ll also do the above, minus the GF stuff and the happy ending au. though they may make appearances in the happy ending AUs for the GFs, since it’s a “everybody-but-Liam-lives” AU. so sorry Liam. but somebody needs to be the namesake for [redacted]’s son… (any guesses?)

maybe I’ll write a happy ending for Liam and Spark and have it be a dream of hers after he dies. that would be cruel. but I’d do it anyway.

It's still a work in progress but meh- Les go:

Helly headcanons!

- He has tons of blankets lmao

- He probably has like a million scratches or marks from missions

- He does, in fact, know how to work a gun (poli thought it was a good idea to teach him)

- He has ADHD (def not projecting myself onto him there-)

- If there's a version of cartoons in the Rcp world, Helly would watch them

- Goes by They/Them/He/Him/She/her (doesn't care what you use)

- Asexual and maybe trans?

Time for Poli

- From time to time he overworks himself to the point of just, fucking passing out

- He can use a gun (hence teaching Helly) but rarely does, cuz there's really no need to

- Can be a bit "hostile" when dealing with certain people. (I'll leave it up to y'all to figure out who or what I'm talking about)

- Honestly, he still fears caterpillars but not as much as he used to

- Nearly fucking froze outside before

- Goes by He/It

- Still figuring out his sexuality but identifies as Non-binary for now

Ight Time for Roy!

- Hug

- Will not hesitate to beat a bitch (only if they deserve it)

- Tends to lock himself in his room when he's sick or too tired

- tries to get everyone calmed down when something is going on with one of the RT members (take that thing with Helly for example)

- Has burn marks on his body, kinda like how Helly has scars from missions and/or rescues (I call them missions for some reason-)

- Goes by He/Him

- Bi

Amber time!

- She can perfectly throw a syringe right at someone's head, don't test her.

- Helly sees her as a big sister!

- She rarely gets mad, but when she does it's best to wait it out or just hide-

- She for some reason, has axe throwing skills

- Also will not hesitate to beat a bitch up

- Is probably the most trustworthy with secrets

- Goes by She/They

- Lesbian and Still figuring out gender

And time for Jin!

- Mother of the team

- Gets annoyed easily and tends to lash out at Helly but immediately apologizes for it

- Whenever she's bored, she'll go for a walk around the test track/lap thingy (idfk what it's called-) or the forest

- Sees some of the people in broomstown annoying af (and wishes they'd give the team a break from time to time)

- Personally likes tea more then coffee, but will drink coffee from time to time

- If any of the RT gets into a very sad state (Helly), she'll tell them to take a break and if they don't, she'll force em to

- Probably also has ADHD

- Goes by She/Her

- Also asexual

April as a dad headcanon

April always wanted to be a dad, he always wanted to be the father he never had. He likes the ideal of dedicating his life to a mini version of him and his loved one, to give them unconditional love and watch then grow.

Ideally, he wants 2 kids, nothing more. As cheesy as it is, he wants to name his children after his name..

May and June. Because after April is May..And after May is June.

Yes hes the type of man to look at mom hack videos and use them for reference.

Yes, he's the type of guy to look up pinterest cute baby picture ideas as a reference and then proceed to frame them everywhere he can. Showing everyone "look how cute my babies are!!" To any poor guest that walks in..

April is the type of dad to have MULTIPLE photos of his kids in his wallet. You know the cartoon thing where someone opens their wallet and just a bunch of photos of a loved one are attached to a plastic thingy and dangling? That's literally him.

April is the type of guy to freak out over any little thing with his kids. May fell down and their knees are bruised? He's the one panicking more than them.

June is crying from being dropped off at daycare? He's also crying the moment he gets inside the car to drive to work.

Additionally, based on au where he's a step dad - when it comes to other people's kids- he treats them like his own and gets attached.

He'll spoil them more than anything in order to be the 'fun dad', but also to reassure them that he really does love them.

But mostly because he gets insecure about if the kid likes him and if he's doing a good as a step parent.

(Which for the au where he takes care of -yan ceo- Vincent's daughter Marceline, it gets depressing real fast..Spoilers, watching the father of your step daughter murder someone in the basement of your shared home isn't so cash money..And going to court for custody sadly doesn't do anything either ☹️)

When it comes to disciplining his kids, he isn't strict or harsh, hes a gentle parent- but not where he lets them get away with everything.

He'll do the basic punishments like taking away the phone, sitting in the corner, and scolding depending on what happened.

The only time he'll ever yell at his kids is if they harm others or do something repeatedly that's bad (tease or harass others, get in trouble, or idk drugs?? It really REALLY depends)

One funny scenario I did write in the drafts about him yelling at his child was about May bringing in a feral raccoon into the house that had rabies. Literally:

"May Sunset drop it NOW." "But dad it's--" "I DON'T CARE. Put it down and come to me" "okay..I'll put it- -AHHHHH!!!!" "AAAAAHH!?? OH MY FUCKING GOD RUN, MAY COME HERE GET IN"

He never swears in front of children.. But that was the exception.

If he ever makes his child cry, perhaps because he had to discipline them or they got into a fight- he's the type of parent to take a step back and reflect.

And when before he talks to them, he's the type of parent to knock on the door, bringing a bowl of fruit or a snack before talking and hugging it out. And if it doesn't work at that moment, he'll try again - never go to bed angry after all!

He's all about open communication and understanding. He never felt like he was able to open up to his parents, so he wants his child to trust in him.

Overall, as a parent, even though April has anxiety and emotional regulation issues. He'd be a 9/10 parent. If he was perfect, he'd be a 10/10, but there's no such thing to perfection y'know?

Now I may or may not be the one behind the term "poliamroy", now known to show Poli, Roy and Amber in a polyamorous relationshio, but I just adore these gals.

Although I do like Polroy, whatever ship name will Mark × Bucky have, and Sandber, although Sanber is so far the only one not canon in most of my AUs so far (maybe in (In)Security? And yes, that parenthesis is important)

My crack ships, however, are Carry/Keaton, Truck X/C4L4M17Y (aka a psychopatic and monstrous vehicle...thing...she'll be seen soon on WTPB/P.O.L.I.), and Poli/Amnesia (WTPB/P.O.L.I. is not the only AU of mine that have that ship...shhhh)

For kiddos (mostly Daily Life, but I'm comin' to get the ones shown in the main show like Annie and Jessie...I'm coming to yeet angst and lore at Mach 88 at those who I find >:) /j) I got something going on for the Modfall versions. But so far, the only thing I can tell you is Jenny/Mary because it's both obvious in my designs of them and any interaction I'll show about the AU. Don't worry, none of the ships are sexual, just crushes that can work it out, and the Modfall kids are also teens.

Now don't get me started on this one, especially for Helly. Bro will get all the bitches because of his personality but instead of starting a harem, he just starts a breakfast club that may or may not be plotting the end of the world. /hj

Mostly, it's just gotta be Jin&that gas station girl (using the & and / system of AO3 identifying ships, &=familial/platonic and /=romantic/sexual), the rest of the Rescue Teams unmentioned, also Helly & anyone from outside of RCP, most of the Daily Life kids, and I haven't got into this part well yet.

(Familial)

Oh boy, this is where the lore fuck-ups happen. Depending on AU, it varies A FUCKING LOT, but what is consistent are 1) Helly treating the older RTs as his parents, 2) Poli getting uncle status on any young RT member, 3) and Roy always vibing with any Jin AU's mother.

For WTPB/P.O.L.I., there are a lot of adoptions, and even there will be a future plot point surrounding it. This one is highly confidential, but as I can say here...Jin knows Poli more than Poli knows himself, Helly still have connections to someone in the military he calls bro, and Roy is adopted by a WW2 veteran when he was a juvenile.

For (In)Security, Amber is Helly's foster mother, Helly's bro is...dead, Poli/Price's parents are fucking homophobic cray-cray, and Roy/Rhode got a bad relationship with his father. Jin has a similar role to Tessa, but her parent is still Steve Harrison (also WTPB!Jin's dad).

As for Modfall...shh......

And for that new AU, "Poli"/Mr. Robinson is Harley/Helly's godfather.
