Just a quick 20 minute adventure into the feywild Morty Initial post!

Mortarions time spent with his brothers was as one could assume, him being a stick in the mud and an asshole. Forced to actually bond and enjoy their company. (how awful)

Also the fact that Mortarion despises magic/psykers and suddenly he was in a land drenched in magic. Even the lowest person could somehow conjour... call upon a god... become a mighty hero... even the most melee focused combatants somehow could pull magic out of their willpower. Somehow gaining a second wind mid battle sometimes healing their wounds too. Imbibing some sort of magical potion... he hated it all so much

His notable part of the AU is what happened after he left their company... he fucking fell into the feywild

Mortarion could not escape extraplanar hellscapes

And this one was made of pure magic

He was in literal hell

But he met his wife not long after he started wandering the hellscape

A princess of the Spring court a majestic dryad

Well he met the source... his dryad wife was a "clipping", she calls herself honeysuckle but Mortarion calls her honey.

Basically the main body had rooted herself and would occasionally clip off hyper-emotive portions of herself and its how honeysuckle came into being. She was a compassionate and loving clipping and was moved by Mortarions plight

His plight being him hissing like a pissed off cat caught in a vine net that was threatening to strangle him

The great princess of spring allowed a portion of herself to travel with Mortarion but at some point during their travels he ran out of toxins and he felt like he couldn't breathe. When honeysuckle tried to help him he tried killing her as he was scared. He was in some xenos infested warp soaked hellscape all alone.

She could shapeshift into vines and solidified around his arms and kissed him forcing air into his lungs, thorns pricked him and she sucked up the poisons of his home. Out of his collar where the poison flowed from bloomed flowers that emitted the same toxic air but just less.

Mortarion sat there with a convulsing and twitching honeysuckle as she removed most of the poison from his system but made it so he could breathe a bit.

She was fine afterward and the two traveled more. It felt like he was in the feywilds for years and yet by the time he would leave it had only been a couple of days.

He grew closer to honeysuckle during the years

in fact for Mortarion 100 years passed in the feywilds when in reality only 100 days had passed in the rest of the world

When he left he was married to honeysuckle by that time and had done a great deed to make him an unofficial prince though the unseelie court has expressed their interest in him.

Both the Seelie and Unseelie court deal with the minor corruption of nurgle that trickles into the realm and both rulers of the courts found it hilariously funny that the once demon prince of Nurgle was capable of true love.

Yeah Mortarion was stuck in the feywilds until he could feel true love. Its how he go his therapy. But Honeysuckle helps him with his daddy issues.

But he was finally able to leave the feywilds and boy was he pissed that his 100 years away turned out to be 100 days and he forced his brothers to all come back together to meet his (Trad) Dryad wife and let him rant about the past 100 years.

They fey blessed him with magic and powers; he was less pissed about the magic; and so Mortarion was something more. Though his new powers were insect and life focused though the more he used the powers in quick succession the more he would temporarily look like an elf.

He and Honeysuckle have a daughter named Lily.

The biggest thing for Mortarion in this AU is he is free from the toxic "love" of nurgle and the utterly toxic idea of family. Having a healthier one abet slightly twisted fey wise but still better than nurgle.

Due to his exposure to the feywilds he can slightly shapeshift its more so he can grow wings when he wants and when he's pissed he takes on more of a wasp like appearance with loud buzzing.

When he is playful he gets a more bumblebee appearance with body fuzz included

When he does shift it's normally a moth, his wings are a mixture of an Hercules moth in just body size to wing size and a lunar moth in coloration and shape. And yes he does sprout fuzzy antennae

Sukuna is Peak Gap Moe. I’ll never be over this. This bastard talks tough, eats people, and kills like a woodchipper and yet…he is a poetic little sap. Getting mad over an improper haikus, the misidentification of flowers…and confessing his feelings to Gojo Satoru under several layers of wordplay no one except those well-versed in ancient Japanese would catch.

I've been over this in greater detail in Sukuna's Negative Rizz, but @tangsakura added more context in the replies to that post, making Sukuna's use of 凡夫 (bonpu) for Gojo even gayer.

In summary, 凡夫 (bonpu) can be translated as painfully ordinary or unenlightened. But in the individual kanji readings, 凡 is mediocre and 夫 is husband. You could read this as Sukuna calling Gojo his mediocre husband. And that's just the modern readings! The ancient readings...

So you can read this line from Sukuna as the following:

“You were born in an era without me and hailed as 'The Strongest'

1) And yet you turned out to be…painfully ordinary.”

2) And yet you turned out to be…unenlightened.”

3) And yet you turned out to be…a mediocre husband/wife/spouse.”

4) And yet you turned out to be…the ordinary one who could stand by my side.”

Sukuna seems to be saying these things all at once. (It’s no different than the Megumi Activities wordplay he uses with Enchain. Alt. link if the Twitter dies.) Gojo apparently makes him feel very conflicted. He’s boring, he can do better, he shouldn’t even call himself the Honored One, he’s his equal, they’re married. The irony here is that no one except Sukuna can understand this.

this year as a lando fan while it’s had its highs (it been great to witness everything he’s achieved) it’s been an absolute struggle more so than any other year, i’ve feel myself becoming less and less attached to the sport and to do so in the year he got his maiden win and was “fighting” for wdc feels so shitty. and the fact is it’s got absolutely nothing to do with lando himself, i will continue to support him no matter what, but the discourse surrounding him, people trying to minimise every achievement he got, the bombardment of hate towards him has been nothing less than disgusting, psychotic and heartbreaking. i used to come on this site and go through landos tag to see if id missed anything he’d been up to and it was something that brought joy to my day, however now i can’t scroll through the lando tag without seeing hate directed his way by people, (who are not only losing a few braincells with their inability to correctly anti tag), who just think it’s fun to wish injury and death on people and dont seem to understand the irony in a lot of their posts. not forgetting the insane lando hate anon, while yes i enjoyed laughing at, would flood lando fans inbox’s with hate anytime he so much as breathed. anytime i go on twitter i see more hate for lando from other drivers fan accounts than i see positive things about their drivers. the anti lando hate train that some people think is cool to be on isn’t. and it just shows how rotten of a person you are if no matter what your supposed favourite driver does the first words out of your mouth are about lando norris and reason 626174 of why you hate him. it’s very telling when people who claim they aren’t fans are more obsessed with talking about him than those who are, i beg you all seek help and get a hobby because this type of behaviour isn’t healthy both for yourself and for others around you to witness.

Suspicious Toxic Waste

Danny wouldn't say that the ghosts were cheating to visit the human world because technically they weren't, they were just hiding in plain sight, using the portals near or within the sea.

None of them needed to breathe and hardly anyone questioned the glowing things that appeared in the sea anyway. Of course, he didn't think he'd find a whole underwater city down there, with a government and a king, but thanks to invisibility he was sure they hadn't noticed them.

Well, he was almost sure, because a bat-shaped yacht was cruising the docks and the Atlanteans were strangely on guard. Danny wondered what was wrong with them.

Of course, Bruce and Arthur were investigating the sudden increase of toxins in the sea. Many locals (Atlanteans and Gothamites) had claimed to see something constantly glowing green floating near the shore, too far away to confirm what it was, and both feared it was Kryptonite.

Genuinely so curious who Mike thinks is gonna be buying The Cage or the new DCTL GN bc with the way he tweets as far as he's concerned, it's not gonna be:

The queer people he has actively admitted he will never show any representation of in the games.

2. The POC he has actively fought against representing in his franchise. [Who he also mocked for thinking they would be represented in his franchise]

3. The Bendy fandom which has always been concerned with topics of diversity esp in the sense of queer people since its creation. Who he has responded to really poorly esp in regards to the GN.

4. The fans who critique him. [He blocked me for doing so lol]

5. His fans in general who he tweets about like this currently. [He's being vague about why people were mad at him or sent him 'nasty messages' because if you actually looked into why you'd see he was in the wrong. Either way, a very hateful way to speak abt ur own fanbase.]

Reminder while Mike is trash talking his fans he has always treated them rather poorly. The fans who won the fanart contest for Chapter 5 never got their posters actually in game due to it being rushed. Not only was chapter 5 a big slap to the face story wise, but it was literally so rushed he couldn't be bothered to add in the art his fans gave him for his game FOR FREE. [Meatly blames this on a crazy timeline, reminder him and Mike are the literal ceos of this company. The proposal of future updates here is also pretty cruel considering Mike nowadays happily admits he corrupted Chapter 5's source code and therefore literally can't update it At All currently. Because he is a moron]

At least they got to be in Boris and the dark survival, and by that I mean that was the Only game they got to be in so far, isn't that just treating your fans like you love them? Shoving their hard work into a spin off game almost nobody has played or addresses much. [Hell, who knows if with the Lone Wolf rebrand they'll even stay there. In which case they'll be in None of the games, only in the credits of BATIM]

6. The Bendy fans who just generally disagree with him on stuff. Like the new ink demon design where there is literally a public poll showing people generally prefer the old one.

7. The Bendy fans who can see he is actively lying to them. To their fucking faces.

He says this has always been the case, but screenshots and links to tweets regarding the books being canon prove it was not. Does he really think bendy fans are stupid or something? [Unless he's admitting here he lied to Kress when he told her the books were canon which sounds worse!]

8. Anyone who doesn't like the idea of giving money to a guy who laid off tons of employees then afterwards thought it was a great idea to express his anti-union views! Also brag about how good of an employer he was, according to his employees, he was not!

So in summary; Mike is an awful person who has not learned anything from the awful things he did. I will not be purchasing The Cage because, combined with this and his absolute refusal to take any kind of critique or see any differing interpretation of his franchise, I have no reason to think my problems with the franchise will ever be addressed or fixed. I probably will pirate The Cage along with any future Bendy Products [Including the movie] and will do my best to avoid giving it any kind of monetary support. Unless this changes any time soon, I can't see myself making anymore positive Bendy posts soon.

Mike has just managed to make it so hard to speak positively or optimistically of this franchise when he's so willing to broadcast how little he cares about it or its fans. I'm at the point where I refuse to pull any of my punches with my problems with it. What's the point of trying to play nice with my critique when either way the people creating it don't care?

So with this post, I want to invite anyone who feels similarly about the franchise to tell me, make a post or send an ask talking about how all of this makes you feel. It may not change how things are, but genuinely seeing other people share my feelings of anger makes me feel better. It feels nice to see when other people share our same concerns and worries. I'd also love to know if anyone else thinks they'll be avoiding purchasing Bendy products over this.

I'm not forcing anyone to participate in it nor trying to say anyone who doesn't supports mike but genuinely maybe if we can collectively decide to boycott things like the movie, graphic novel and The Cage... It might at least make the bendy devs acknowledge how much they have destroyed their own fandom's faith and trust in them.

The way Mike tweets about his actions like he had no control over why people were mad at him at least proves to me he takes NONE of it back nor regrets it. If you didn't know about his actions and only went off his tweets, you would be led to believe Mike has been needlessly picked apart by fans over things he couldn't control [or in his own words, had his words twisted and taken out of context]. That is not how you speak about your actions if you have actually learned better from them.

anyway, that has been my bendy dev callout post. This is an open invitation to anyone feeling similarly upset about the way the franchise is going to talk about it. It's genuinely nice to see how people feel about this and the more we talk about the more it's likely the bendy devs are forced to address our concerns. I don't think they will but hey, that's why I'm not gonna support them with my money anymore nor am I gonna be nice to them in any content I make critiquing Bendy. I mean I'm also basically making this post just in case anyone asks me Why I feel this way towards to bendy devs/as a way to respond to anyone who thinks I am too harsh in my critique in the future.

As always, it seems the best part of Bendy isn't actually anything about canon but about what the fan's are creating with the ideas Bendy failed to do anything interesting with.

Also the books, the books slap.

Rin itoshi is beautiful, thats a fact. He’s admirable in his discipline and combined with his natural talent, it’s hard for anyone to even compete with him.

But he’s also cold, some days you can’t even speak a word to him, the distance between you far too long.

Some days you see the insanity in his eyes, the discipline turning into obsession. He stays hours late out and forces his body to its limits. It’s hard to spend time together when your boyfriend is constantly out trying to reach a new peak.

Sure the ego he has in the field may help him rise to the top but it’s hard to see that in a good light when the only reflection from it to you is constant criticism.

Rin itoshi is beautiful, but only when you’re watching from afar. The closer you are to him, the uglier he becomes.

And you resent him, you really do, for letting you come inside the walls he built around himself when you’d be perfectly content admiring him from afar.

But most importantly, you resent yourself not only for being such a fool but also for still loving him, despite all he had done. for believing that the kindness he showed you in the early stages of your relationship wasn’t so much of a illusion after all.

And that’s why you need to leave, and not look back. Because you know that if your eyes met the teal hues of his even for a second, you’d return back to his side once again no matter the things he made you go through.

Maybe, just maybe, one day you will be able to look back into those eyes and see him in the same light you once saw him, beautiful as ever.

As idk I kind of imagine him being around 20-21 while most of the other Achaean Kings are late 20s to mid/late-30s

He's young and incredibly experienced in war and that's basically where he feels the most comfortable. He is one of the youngest kings there, who VERY much looks up to his elders and respects them while also wanting to "be a proud king" as well. He's just a child soldier among these actual warlords. As, let's be real, Diomedes would probably suck at Diplomacy. Because he never really got to DO it. Even when he told off that messenger from Troy about how Paris was willing to give back the treasure he stole, that wasn't...very tactful. lol) I love that he has this almost "Notice me, Senpai" energy around the older guys lol

I love that he's basically the embodiment of Athena's "war" side. He follows orders very well (basically too well (Yes he mouths off and that time Zeus had to yell at him. I know. but he was in a battle frenzy)) He's very respectful of Athena despite already being favored by her. There's a lot to unpack for this poor guy with being a child soldier ;~;

AND I FUCKING ADORE HIM AND STHENELUS. THEY ARE SUCH FUCKING BROS. STHENELUS IS BASICALLY HIS LIL CHEERLEADER AND I LOVE IT. They're like a Traumatized bonded pair. Epigoni guys!!!

Listen I understand why some people disagree bc I love them as characters but personally I don’t particularly want another full season with the Bad Kids. I will watch it if they do one, but I feel like not only have the characters reached the natural conclusions of their arcs, the Intrepid Heroes have all grown so much as players from when Fantasy High came out like 5 years ago that I think it would feel a bit disingenuous. Like Ally had never played D&D before Fantasy High, and Kristen was played accordingly. Ally even said in Starstruck “no more bumbling Kristen shit”

All that being said I wouldn’t mind a short season (up to 10 eps) for junior/senior year or for the IH to do live shows of the characters. I would love a cross over season between Fantasy High and the Seven or even PirOL, I think that could be fun.

Queen of Tears Ep3 reminds me of an Episode in Smallville where Lois' dad came to visit her and Clark and he put Clark through so much hell until Lois got annoyed and called him out. That was when he opened up and said that he always gave her boyfriends a hard time as a test for HER not for them. He was waiting to see which one she would eventually stand up for.

It feels the same with Haein and her father. He never complimented Hyunwoo in all three years of their marriage. Some might say it's because Hyunwoo finally shot something worthwhile and proved to be competent, but everyone in that family has always known Hyunwoo was competent. Even her father has been taking him to important meetings because Hyunwoo gets shit done. Hyunwoo's competence was never in question.

The only thing that's changed is that Haein is defending him. Not just that day, but in recent times. Her behavior towards her husband is what her father has been mirroring all this time. Her contempt and distrust has been evident and her father isn't going to compliment a competent man that he thought his daughter is unhappy with.
