Yandere Platonic Batfamily x Neglected Regressing GN Reader
In which a sad little child of a Wayne is somehow curse by the fates to live again and again, facing death in the end just to relive their fears, trauma and neglect from their own family.
Will they find away to end this looping nightmare or to live another reset again just to find a good gooddamn ending?.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warning this Fic will contain:
Suicide and Suicidal thoughts, Death [Mainly Y/N's], Violence, Cursing, Drugs and substances, Guns and other weapons, Family Neglect, Talk about traumas or phobias, out of characters from the DC characters, mixed versions of the Batfamily [Will be mentioned if there are changes or implications of specific depictions of comics, games or other media for DC characters], Typos [ I can edit if there are typos but don't expect perfect or poetic English from me cuz I'm not that great in English ] and lastly This is NOT a Jinx!Reader I only had inspo of jinx and Arcane reference for this they are not fully Jinx because if they are then that would be a different fic now.

「The Pale Bat」
❗️Minor BG3 Spoiler Ahead❗️
Summary: Astarion encounters a small creature, and makes a decision.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Part 2
(Edited because I forgot a panel, oops, & also added some refinement)
Astarion finds a bat and saves it, because I said so.
I did it, I did the thing!! I drew the wonderful and wholesome idea that originated from this post made by @miraculan-draws :
I loved this post so much, I had to make it real, and I hope people might find this entertaining as well. There is no way Astarion would not see himself in a little white bat who desperately needed help. This is set after traveling with my Tav for a while, and Astarion has softened his edges enough to be a bit more gentle.
Thank you for posting this lovely concept, I might continue to draw more of this :)

I'm sorry if this ask is coming out of nowhere, but I have been looking for posts that talk about how S2 has declined in quality and there have been virtually NONE. Even tags like 'arcane critical' or 'anti arcane' don't show up even though I know there are posts that are tagged with them. I'm losing my mind. Has nobody else noticed this downgrade? The ideas could have been good, but they were not executed well and the whole thing reads like they wrote it really quickly without any real editing and then rushed to get it out. It feels hollow, like we're seeing a botched or unfinished version of what it was supposed to be. What kind of random ass shit is it that an enforcer comes up to Vi and says, "cait said good things about you," and Vi is just like wow you're right, I'm sold! Even though she already knows Cait has a high opinion of her and that wasn't the issue in the first place! Also who was that random homeless man? Why am I supposed to care about these people? Fans get defensive about the pacing and argue that s1 did a lot in a minimal amount of time too, but I don't think they realize that pacing has to do with making something feel organic. Vi's heel turn into becoming an enforcer was not organic. Viktor's two second goodbye was not organic. Both of these things could have made sense if they'd given these moments even just a little more effort or care. There were so many unnecessary scenes that could have been cut out to give more time to things that desperately needed it (like caitlyn's sad wordless montage about her mom. Why did it drag out so long? Her grief is apparent in every other scene. We did not need an entire abstract slideshow of her making various sad expressions.) There's also the animation. The animation is leagues above a regularly animated show, but if you look closely it is actually not as good as s1. There is less detail, the lighting of the background doesn't always match the characters, and there are moments where the lips don't always sync with their voices. These are minor things that I wouldn't usually care about, but for a multi-million dollar show like Arcane? Riot games recently laid off a whole slew of its creative team, too, and I wonder if they've been making similar cuts before that. It would certainly explain the drop in quality. I wouldn't put it past corporate greed to nerf one of the most groundbreaking animated shows in modern media if they thought they could profit more by cutting corners.
I'm sorry to ramble in your inbox as a random stranger, but it boggles my mind that there are so few people mentioning s2's flaws (not including rage bait, which is annoying because it only delegitamizes real criticisms and discussions.) I feel like I'm screaming in the void like is nobody else seeing this shit??
well hello there! first of all, "arcane critical" is what i was looking for when i was writing that post. gonna put it in tags now before i forget
secondly, i love asks! so no need to apologize. thirdly it's a bummer you went under anonym, i don't believe you get notifs for your anonymous asks, so unless you actually hang out on my blog regularly there's a chance you won't see me appreciating your thoughts and agreeing with you (expect for the animation part, cause for me it was great, i have no questions on that regard. but for each their own. i'm a big fun of the dragon prince first season's animation and still sad they get rid of their 13fps style, so...)
anyway, i got bored at the beginning of my rumbling that time and didn't get into some deep analysis but yes, the first season also had events to go fast and forward, but at the same time they made sense. it wasn't rush or dragged, every scene had a meaning and weight
YES to the burial scene. like i get it, it was drawn pretty and it was sad and grey for cait but my god how many hours can we watch vi going away from 317 different angles? i was actually shocked to see her at cait's, cause after 10 minutes of her hiding in the crowd and leaving before cait saw her i was legit sure the show tried to tell us they broke up for now and won't see each other for a while
and it all feels so odd, as if on the one hand writers had too little allowed episodes to work with their ideas, like they came up with all these important story points but had no more screen time to add actual story development between the points, cause the season is like 10 episodes too short to fit a full coherent story. but on the other hand they have too much unused screen time, like they wrote only 5 episodes but they had to make 9 so now we will just fill the equivalent of 4 episodes of free time with mute repetitive long scenes
who the fuck is that mute lizard cop? is he actually mute? or there were no budget on one more voice actor? what's his problem? why he always looks like he's mad at everyone? should i even care he's always displeased? does he even matter? if no, why he has so much screen time and close-up shots? if yes, why he has no meaning or story or character or name? i swear to god, in the first season that one future-junkie dude had more of a meaning and weight in his two minutes scene than these lizard cop and the new jinx's sister during two episodes
and it all would've been fine, really, if it was the first season, or one of these already bad shows that you don't really expect much of. but arcane was a masterpiece, and also we've been waiting for it for three years. so it's the feeling that we know how GOOD it can be, and the feeling that it just chose not to
w....wait... what if they also tried to do great? and failed to do good in the process
or maybe, as you said, just some internal kitchen shit. i never actually follow media creation stuff and staff so maybe that's just it. still not make it all better for me as a viewer who was too excited to learn at 1 am that the act dropped and stayed up until 7am to make sure to watch it before getting to sleep
HEY THANK YOU for giving me opportunity to rumble about it again

Why I Don't Like Game Theory
Anyone reading should not use the information here to harass either Game Theory or the other person mentioned in it.
So this is a phrase I've heard said a lot the videos made by Game Theory pre and post retirement of the creator, whenever someone would cover a video of theirs for getting stuff wrong. Whether is be the Lorax, Get Out, Arcane, Sonic, Minecraft, Megaman, Undertale, FNAF, or Metroid. Something to the effect of "I don't know much about Game Theory and think they did poor research, and are unintentionally spreading misinformation." Or "I like their other videos and think they do great on them, but this video they did bad in."
But with a full view of things this trend is a not a bug but a feature. If you read my previous post on this subject I have talked about this very problem and how it is very intentional. Where he outright said as advice to a new writer that he brushes aside contradicting information to create a narrative, while purposefully leaving out key bits of information with Mario Is Mental as the example.
However, all I had to go off of was some old screenshots and the written quote without video evidence........ Until now
So I basically have gotten a hold of the original video that was basically lost media at this point. So I clipped together 3 clips from this video titled How I almost worked for Game Theory, with a later addition of "edit now I do. The first one is for context, the second one is for evidence that the creator did work for MatPat eventually, and the third one is the infamous clip in question.

Welcome to the WWE: World Wizard Entertainment
(Somebody get Vince McSam on the phone.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because I am a being of chaos and a chronic waster of time, I have put together a hopefully fun bracket of wizard match-ups! And let's be honest: my entire brand is putting wizards in situations.
For round one, I will be staggering polls throughout the day starting on Sunday, February 19th at 8am PST. Each round will run for a day, and the next round will commence once the final poll of the previous round has finished, at which point I will also post an updated bracket.
You can find all polls on my blog under the tag #world wizard entertainment.
A few notes:
These are wizards, and only wizards, hence why Gilmore is absent. Had I included him, it felt like a slippery slope to having to include a lot of other characters, and I simply did not want to deal.
There are some wizards absent. I do not take criticism on who was left out.
But on that note:
Vecna is absent for being first and foremost a demigod.
Raishan is absent for being first and foremost an ancient fucking dragon.
Vespin Chloras was included despite being a fiend during his time on screen because he is generally known as the most infamous wizard in history, and because I think it's funny.
Jenna Iresor was also included despite never making an on-screen appearance because she is the funniest member of the Cerberus Assembly, and I love her.
Lacrytia Hollow was, to my greatest regret, forgotten—I had decided to add her but failed to notice that I hadn't done so until far too late. But there are some great girlbosses on here already, so we move forward.
Also, on the topic of titles, I did include all current or most recent titles. You will notice that those who are alive but have vacated their positions, willingly or otherwise, are noted as "former."
Any wizards who were killed in the line of duty retain their titles. Lady Briarwood, Madam Archmage DeRogna—I'm not sure what you were working in duty to, but we salute you.
All first round match-ups are as follows; I'll add links to them as I am able, but I will be out or playing my own D&D wizard for most of Sunday. (Tumblr has also tried to eat this post multiple times, so I may discover that the editor refuses to allow me to edit it once it is posted, in which case, rip in pieces, and please check the tag linked above.)
Match 1: Architect Arcane Laerryn Coramar-Seelie vs Speaker of the Fourth Micah Cormorant Match 2: Eadwulf Grieve vs Former Archmage of Civil Influence Trent Ikithon Match 3: Keeper of Scrolls Patia Por'co vs Realmseer Eskil Ryndarien Match 4: Doctor Anna Ripley vs Archmage of Industry Jenna Iresor Match 5: Former Shadowhand Essek Thelyss vs Vera of the Squalleater Match 6: Archmage of Antiquities Vess DeRogna vs Eldamir the Wise Match 7: Arcanist Allura Vysoren vs Loras of the Weaver's Mask Match 8: Archmage of Civil Influence Astrid Becke vs Lythir VaSuun Match 9: Caleb Widogast vs Tuldus of the Ruby Vanguard Match 10: Vespin Chloras vs Halas Lutagran Match 11: Lady Delilah Briarwood vs Lyra of the Slayer's Take Match 12: Martinet Ludinus Da'leth vs Archmage of Cultivation Oremid Hass Match 13: Veth Brenatto vs Archmage of Dysology Doolan Tversky Match 14: Pumat Sol vs Gus of the Green Seekers Match 15: Yussa Errenis vs Archmage of Diplomatic Union Athesias Uludan Match 16: Planerider Ryn vs Lilith Daturai
If you care to see the actual rankings, or if you have no fucking clue who someone is and would like a quick link to their wiki page, I'll include them all below a cut.
May the... best?—smartest? most amoral?—wizard win.

10 Questions for Writers
tagged by @demonzoro - thank you so much for the tag saint!! i really liked reading through your answers <33
How many works do you have on AO3? // 62 now!! that's bonkers
What's your total AO3 word count? // 677,320...... even MORE bonkers. master's degree in yapping
What fandoms do you write for? // i usually just kind of end up writing whatever my brain is shaking around like a chew toy at the moment. im currently neck-deep in arcane, but i've also written for lots of other fandoms over the years, including one piece, mxtx, bnha, and the og percy jackson of course
Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?// i try to!!!!! i want to!!!! i really really do want to!!!!! but then i blink and months have passed and i experience a crippling anxiety akin to forgetting to text your friend back until it becomes too awkward to reply
Have you ever had a fic stolen? // yes lol and i was SO mad because they copy/pasted everything into their new ao3 post except for the title. girl take my title too i left it there right at the beginning for you and everything
Have you ever co-written a fic before? // no i haven't! i'm not sure if i ever could tbh. i think i might be a bit too much of a perfectionist to adjust to another person's style/vision like that
What's your all-time favourite ship? // this question is so hard!! i often go through intense phases where i revisit ships and read through half the ao3 tag before chilling out again. maybe neil/andrew all for the game.... i've carried them with me for like a decade now. my eternal cross to bear
What are your writing strengths? // this is also a hard question omg. i really enjoy writing dialogue and like to think that i'm pretty good at capturing voice and character! i find it hard to recognize my own strengths, everything turns into word salad if i look at it for too long
What are your writing weaknesses? // i definitely have a tendency to over-write. editing me is always like UHGGGGHH GREAT!!!! another run-on sentence i have to cut down or simplify!!
First fandom you wrote for? // the first fandom i consistently posted fic for was pjo, but the VERY first fic i ever wrote was for lotr. it got sent directly to my bestie's dms and nowhere else
tagging: @whatiwouldnotgive & also absolutely anyone else who wants to do this and blame me!! go crazy go wild, please share your thoughts about writing

Just need to make an introduction post rq I’ve literally had this in my drafts and completely forgot about it-
Hi everyone! It’s me, Allie!
• My pronouns are she/her and they/them
• I’m a fic writer on Ao3
• I’m 16 years old and about to be am a Junior in HS
• This blog was originally made by my relative but then she gave it to me when she became too busy to run it and that’s when the blog went downhill lmao (she still comes on sometimes, tho)
• This blog was also supposed to be mostly focused on Six the Musical, specifically incorrect quotes and while I still do them, it’s clear that I’ve expanded my horizons to multiple fandoms lol
Below is a list of movies/shows/musicals I’m into so far in no particular order:
• Ghosts (cbs)
• Six the Musical (obviously lol)
• Hamilton
•Ride the Cyclone
• Hadestown
• Alice by Heart
• The Great Comet of 1812/War and Peace
• The Nanny
• The Addams Family (movies, tv show, and musical)
• Wednesday
• The Umbrella Academy
• The School for Good and Evil
• She-Ra
• Arcane
• Carmen Sandiego
• Inside Job
• Once Upon a Time
• The Good Place
• Harry Potter (don’t support jk rowling I solely believe Daniel wrote all the books)
• Helluva Boss + Hazbin Hotel
• The Owl House
• Gravity Falls
• Marvel
I most likely forgot a bunch so expect to see some edits lol

I am about 1 million years late to this but thank you for the tag @graphitekayla!!!
Rules: without naming them, post 10 gifs of your favorite shows, then tag 10 people. I'm definitely going to break this rule; you can't give me the opportunity to gush about my faves and not expect me to name them all!!
If anyone has followed me for any length of time none of this will be a shock lmao.
Tumblr media
Shadowhunters, and more broadly speaking The Mortal Instruments. My first real fandom!!! I cannot overstate the impact the books and show had on my life. I wouldn't be who I am without it. I have an angelic rune tattoo. Magnus and Alec are some of the first queer characters I remember reading about. I remember where I was when they kissed for the first time in the show. You stupid nephilim lives rent free in my brain. This show (and the books) truly set up the trajectory my life is on now, and I will always always remember it fondly. Even with all the drama and discourse.
Tumblr media
2. Critical Role, specifically C2. My first true obsession after the decade long Shadowhunters debacle. I stumbled into it to learn how to play D&D (which I now know is a controversy in and of itself lmao). But my friend @midnightellis wanted us to start a game, and I needed a way to learn that wasn't reading the books, so I started C2. It took 11 or 12 episodes, but then I fell in love. I spent the next almost year watching the entirety of C2 which culminated in visiting them to watch the finale together. I was extremely jetlagged. It was basically 8 amazing hours of nonstop crying. I have zero regrets. Except for the fact I still need to get the tattoo I had planned rip. One day!! I promise!!
Tumblr media
3. Arcane!!!! A brief interlude between Shadowhunters and CR. There was about 4 months were I was OBSESSED and watched the entire show like 3 times back to back. I have many thoughts and feelings about Jayce. The show is also just so visually stunning. I cannot wait for S2 to drop in November!!!!!! I know nothing about League but I do really love this show.
Tumblr media
4. House. Iconic. What else needs to be said? House is very much a comfort show for me; great to rewatch during the winter. I've watched the entire thing almost three times now, and even got my mom hooked lol. It was fun seeing all her reactions to everything before I moved.
Tumblr media
5. If I had known what fandom was when this was airing, I truly would have been all over that shit. But I was 8 and didn't have access to the internet. Aang/Katara def my first otp lol. I did, however, ignore a friend that was over at my house to watch the finale, I believe. I definitely told them to go play so I could watch the show uninterrupted. Needless to say, they were not thrilled with that. I'm 90% sure it was the finale now, but I could be wrong about the episode. ATLA is also another comfort show that I could watch over and over again.
Tumblr media
6. Shadow and Bone. I am still SICKENED this got canceled. Genya and David are the ultimate romance, and no one will convince me otherwise. I almost stopped reading when I found out his fate. I was devastated. Everyone in this show is also very pretty. I can't believe we won't get a s3.
I'm going to stop here because this is already long enough, and tbh I'm not sure I actually have four more shows. I can only be obsessed with one thing at a time, and the current obsession is Path of Night. And that does not seem to be waning any time soon.
Edit: Lost should 100% be on this list. I think I've watched it at least four times. My family and I watched it live as it was airing when I was a kid. And it still is one of my favorite shows. I know people got beef with the ending but I truly didn't mind it. Even if it's bad or whatever, I think Lost is still 100% worth watching. There are so many little hints and clues that I pick up something different every time, and each character death hits just as hard.
Tumblr media
I'm going to tag: @gelatinouscute, @peppedstep, @midnightellis, @discordkittenterumi, @im-a-vampire-now, @zeena-athena , @syntia13treeman , @sapphicfugue , @dr-thumbs-brand-new-spot
If you want to do this :)

Fics I would like to see for Arcane Ascension, but don't want to have to write myself because I already feel overwhelmed with ideas or unqualified to write them [Edited/Updated as of 10/25/2023]
The Winter Ball Dance Scene from Jin's POV (maybe extended)
Corin actually taking the position as Professor Erzan's TA
Tristan is still a whisper and still part of the Ascension Faction, but he's also not tower-bound bound so he has to keep all his activities secret from his family. Corin and Sera are pretty sure Tristan is trying to run a cult out of the basement, but they hope if they don't say anything he won't get them involved.
A The Joy of Joe like fic where Jin runs an Art YouTube channel and his fans are super interested in the small bits of his personal life that he drops. In the end, it's revealed that he is Dalen Jin, who is a very big deal for several reasons
AA x Addams Family, where Morticia or Gomez are either Magnus or Laura's estranged sibling who, despite not being close with the parents, are very interested and invested in Corin and Sera
Corin gets his Arbiter Attument by helping a disguised visage do something super basic and has to deal with the consequences
That one CorJin idea I posted about here
Kelridge rebellion and liberation
Corin is immune to love and/or lust potions, and can fight off most love spells (they have to be citrine or stronger for him to give have to work to throw them off) He is completely immune to Lust spells (Ace King 👑) Corin learns this the hard way. So do each of his friends/companions.
Vanniv and Researcher are given Mana regenerative items that let them stay summoned for extended periods of time without draining Sera. Shinagines ensue
Corin is kidnapped by Dawn, Reika and Ishyeal, because of the Selys-Lyann having part of Flowbreaker in it. He makes it clear that he had no idea and convinces them to let him tag along on the quest for a little bit. He forgets that Keras, Derek and the others don't know that he is in danger, and it's quite surprised when they crash the party
Corin eventually realizes Tristan isn't all that great and moves on with his life. Tristan has a hard time accepting that, because Corin idolizing him was kind of an important factor of his plan. He's convinced Corin must have been spelled away, and tires multiple times to break it. Obviously it doesn't work because Corian isn't under a spell.
Hartigan Manor becomes infested with Mimics while Keras and the kids are staying there. Shenanigans ensure.
Time Loop. Ara_Mochi has started to do ones with this, and they're great but I kind of want to see one where Corin just keeps getting different attunements every time. Jin isn't affected because he just mesmers himself out of the effect. Slowly they get the rest of the team too.
Attunement swap

【IᑎTᖇOᗪᑌᑕTIOᑎ】 💙🌌
Hey everyone! My name is Rosalind but I also go by Ross or Ros. OR you could call me by my internet names Blue or Bluemoon if you’d like! (It’s a lot of names I know lol sorry. Just pick whatever).
I’m a 20yo artist, writer, and editor who will be mostly focusing on fanart, self ship, furry content, and maybe some cosplay on this blog. I do have a business focused on my published books, OCs, and editing services which you can find here if you’re interested. I’m more active over on those accounts since I work on that stuff almost full time now but I try and post fan/personal content when I can. This blog specifically will be a place for all my self indulgent interests. I may not be super active here but will try to anyway :)
Tumblr media
【ᗪIᔕᑕᒪᗩIᗰEᖇ】
Skip ahead to read more about me, my, interests, and who I ship with, etc. But in the meantime, I need to get this out of the way and say that I really wanna make new friends here but I’m also hesitant to rejoin any sort of self ship and/or fan communities because of how many horrible experiences I’ve had with them before. Perhaps Tumblr is different but I wanted to put this out here for my own peace of mind lol. So please be patient with me. I grew up in fandom and self ship spaces that had constant arguments about literally everything. I didn’t even know what half of these discourses were even about and everything I’ve learned has been against my will. So no, this is not me “taking a side”, I just don’t want to be apart of drama anymore. My morals are this: live and let live unless you’re supporting/romanticizing anything immoral. If you have genuine critiques about how I portray certain things then definitely let me know since I’m always concerned about how I represent stuff, but aside from that, this is just a blog to talk about stuff I like so let’s keep it chill please. 🧍‍♂️
Tumblr media
【ᗩᗷOᑌT ᗰE】
⭐My full name Rosalind B. Sterling (or you can call me by the other names listed above)
⭐I’m 20 (covered that lol)
⭐I’m bi and aroace (I also sometimes use the term procul but I don’t identify with it as a sexuality. Just an add on term for my asexuality to explain how my sexual attraction fades away once my relationship with someone becomes real).
⭐I’m genderfluid and my pronouns are she/he/they
⭐I’m mixed race/Puerto Rican
⭐I’m neurodivergent (OCD, MaDD, and a few other things) so tone tags would be great to use around me but they’re not required
⭐I currently live Ohio (yes I’ve heard all the jokes and they’re honestly pretty accurate lmao)
⭐My favorite colors are aqua, bright purple, hot pink, and neon green
Tumblr media
【ᖴ/O's】
Note: some of these characters might come from controversial media. I just like them for personal/creative/self indulgent reasons so don’t interact if these make you uncomfortable.
“Main” f/o’s
(Putting this in quotes since I hardly ever talk about these characters nowadays. They’ve just been my main for a while and I feel too attached to take them off the list)
⭐Dan {Dan Vs.} (Started shipping 7 years ago)
⭐Gary {Final Space} (Starting shipping 6 years ago).
Current main:
⭐ Alastor {Hazbin Hotel} (Started shipping 4 years ago) And before anyone comes after me with the “but he’s aroace!” comments, I know that and I don’t erase it. I’m aroace too and kind of imagine him and my S/I being in a possible QPR type thing. I still have developing to do. I just like the thought of two aroaces hitting it off and bonding closely. I take a lot of comfort in him as a fellow aroace so leave me be please 😭

Am I comfy sharing any of my f/os and kins?
Yes! I’m fine having doubles. I used to hate it a few years back but now that my mental health is a little more in check and I don’t have to rely on self shipping for major comfort like I used to, I no longer feel bothered by that. It was unhealthy anyway. Not to judge anyone who hates having doubles. I understand folks have pretty valid reasons for it. I just realized the attachment I had to these characters was turning into an unhealthy kind of obsession and was hurting me more than helping. I’m out of that place now luckily. I still self ship for comfort reasons but it’s not as in ease as it was before and mostly just for funsies now. If you're comfy sharing and we have doubles, totally message me so we can gush and ramble together! I love doing that 🫶💖

Putting this here too since I'll probbaly be sharing furry stuff whenever I get the chance. So here is my eyesore of a fursona which is a wolf/fox/bat hybrid with a scene kid aesthetic who looks like every middle school edgelord oc deisgn vomited into one character. But idc honestly. I’m not doing anything serious with her and am just having fun. I also might use her for self shipping if I end up F/Oing any anthro characters but idk.

#RPGCovers Week Thirteen Mage Traditions Books (1994 on) Michael Kaluta
I’m going a little out of order, but yesterday I talked about Christopher’s Shy’s visual reframing of later Mage: the Ascension. The flip side to that is the work of Michael Kaluta on the earliest edition of Mage, in particular the striking and distinctive Tradition Books.
Like Frank Brunner, who did the Stormbringer cover & illustrations I talked about earlier, Kaluta came out of a graphic comics tradition, having worked on The Shadow, Madame Xanadu, and Starstruck. If you’ve ever seen the old music video of The Alan Parsons Project’s “Don’t Answer Me,” he did the illustrations for that (as well as directing it). In particular I love his work on DC’s Books of Magic.
The covers for the tradition books are rich, blackline illustrations. They’re clean, yet wonderfully abstract. They speak to Mage as a setting which combines arcane concepts of the past with futurist impressions of technology. I adore them.
However the problem is that White Wolf decided to print these on reflective paper: silver, metallic green, etc. This makes it more of a challenge to find good quality images of these, as you can tell from the ones I chose to present at the top of the post. Despite that they’re graphically great and striking and set the template for the rest of the line.
There would be a set of images released (in addition to an art portfolio) which took those black & white illustrations and colored them. They’re good and solid, but I think they lose something in the colorizing.
On the other hand images White Wolf had Kaluta do for the Mage 20th Anniversary are dynamite. They show Kaluta at the height of his powers– and maybe more importantly offer us these images in an era of easy high fidelity and resolution. Part of the issue regarding the earlier versions was simply that you couldn’t get good reproductions except by expensive means.

1. My favorite traveler is Temenos! I initially chose him first because of the advertised mystery plot (and I love me a good mystery), but his sassy personality and off the charts bastardom levels were a delight to have as well. His story is also thrilling with captivating twists and turns. I didn't mind the culprit being a bit obvious so long as the story is still engaging.
2. How dare you make me choose just one! I love so many!!! I suppose if I can only choose one, I'll say Clarissa! I think she plays an invaluable part in getting through Osvald's walls and showing the player that his revenge, while justified, is blinding. She's clearly upset with Ethan's fate but she, unlike Osvald, has learned to move on and encourages Osvald to start healing as well.
3. My absolute favorite chapter has got to be Agnea chapter 5. Everything from the setting, the stakes, the characters, and the boss battle all just put a huge smile on my face! Her story is one the last I finished and let me tell you, it was a breath of fresh air after stories like Osvald's, Temenos's, Thronè's, Castti's... you get the idea...
4. My favorite overall path is Temenos's due to my previously stated love for mystery plots.
5. My favorite boss fight is Trousseau's. With Castti's memory restored, the stakes so incredibly high, and the mechanics of the boss putting a time limit on the battle, it all concocted the perfect storm for an unforgettable finale!
6. My favorite optional dungeon is the House Wellows Manor. It's a decrepit haunted mansion with spooky yet mysterious lore. What else can I say to make you fall in love?
7. My favorite default job is the Scholar. Why? Spells. I love me some spells. Some arcane arts. Some witchcraft. Some magics. Hee hee
8. My favorite secret job is the Inventor! (though they are all great and fun)
9. Meta wise, Arcanist Partitio is my favorite because of the Seal of Diffusion + Sidestep combo. But overall, Scholar Temenos is not only a great healer and damage dealer but he also look so dapper! I love his leather peacoat look. I want it. Give it to me.
10. My favorite town is Montwise. An autumnal university town with a giant library and beautiful music? I think I found heaven.
11. My favorite side quest is "A Mysterious Box." It's tied to the House Wellows Manor and despite it's eerie nature, its conclusion is quite heartwarming!
12. My favorite travel banter has got to be "Cleaning Up" with Castti and Thronè.
13. ALL OF IT! ALL OF THE SOUNDTRACK IS GOOD! But some of my favorites are Main Theme (Night), Temenos the Cleric, Doubt Is What I Do, Toto'haha (Night), Empty Memories, Miscreants Melody, Home of Wisdom and Arts, Flamechurch, Sacred Light (Day & Night), every "In Pursuit of (x)" theme and The Journey for (x) Ends theme, Song of Hope, Gil on the Keys, Dark Night, Invitation to Darkness, and Dear Travelers.
14. I chose Mahina but I wish I had picked Akala because it woulf have fit my build better. (sorry Mahaina!) (I still love you <3)
15. I chose the blue paint with the unicorn ornament!
16. Three words: 👏Deal👏More👏Damage👏
17. Temenos and Throné have all of the best friends energy
18. Ochette is NOT 20! She is 12 and NOTHING will convince me otherwise!!!!
19. Crick's death almost brought me to sad tears but Agena's Fin. photo almost brought me to tears of joy!
20. My first "Dark Night" sequence with the creepy music was pretty unsettling. Lostseed was downright bone-chilling. And the reveal of what Harvey did to Rita filled me with indescribable horror.
21. Alrond: Partito... you truly are a charismatic individual. However, my purse strings do not come undone for a smile and a song. Before I invest, I need a closer appraisal of your caliber.
Partitio: Er... do you want me to take my shirt off or somethin'?
22. I can't think of any good anecdotes at the moment, but I'll come back and edit this post if one pops up in my head!
23. I love this game in every way, but there is one thing that sometimes bugs me. The voice acting is absolutely incredible, no doubt about it, but in some scenes, it gave me tonal whiplash. Take Harvey, for example. He is a sinister, conniving monster of a man. He's a liar, an arsonist, a kidnapper, a thief, a plagiarizer, a manipulator, a murderer, and a multitude of other things that I haven't listed. This nutjob is guilty of countless atrocities, yet his voice actor's performance feels so comical. He sounds like a Sunday morning cartoon villain rather than the despicable professor who will kill anyone in his pursuit of power. I just wish he sounded more menacing rather than goofy.
24. I did play Octopath 1, but I never finished the game, unfortunately. But I can say with confidence that Octopath Traveler II has improved on the original in every way possible.
Octopath Traveler II ask game 🧭
Been looking for one of these since I finished the game but I haven't found one, so I made my own :3
Favorite traveler? (And if they were who you started with?)
Favorite NPC?
Favorite single chapter?
Favorite overall path?
Favorite boss fight?
Favorite optional dungeon?
Favorite default job?
Favorite secret job?
Favorite build for [character]?
Favorite town?
Favorite sidequest?
Favorite travel banter?
Favorite soundtrack?
Which companion did you choose for Ochette?
How did you customize your Grand Terry?
Did you have a That One Support Skill that you bought for every traveler?
Best relationship/dynamic between 2 characters (& elaborate!)?
A headcanon for [character]?
A moment that made you cry (or you just found sad)?
A moment that gave you chills (or you just found creepy)?
A moment that made you laugh out loud (or you just found funny)?
An amusing anecdote from your playthrough?
One thing that bugged you / you would change about the game?
Did you play the original Octopath Traveler? (And how does it compare?)

One D&D Guesswork
Now that we’ve had a few playtest documents released, we can begin to see the direction the game designers of One D&D are heading. Using what we’ve seen so far, I have some thoughts and guesses on what we will see for the rest of the classes that will be released: what we will see for the different groups and some potential directions for some of the class without playtest documents.
As a sidenote – I know there’s a lot of discussion going on right now concerning the future of the Open Game License (OGL) and other associated documents. Recent developments point towards a few different directions, and, having been both part of a 3rd-party content project in 2021 and the consumer of 3rd-party content, I’m waiting with the rest of the community on what it will all look like in the end, and how it will affect community content going forward. But, I am not going to go into that discussion as part of this post.
Read on past the line to see my thoughts on what might lie in store. Mayhap they will spark some thoughts of your own.
Tumblr media
Group Abilities
In the Expert document, it was revealed that each class in the Expert group was going to have the Expertise ability, either at 1st or 2nd level. I think there will be a similar ability granted within each group moving forward.
For the Priest group, we already saw that the Cleric’s Channel Divinity ability had received an upgrade. Paladins also have Channel Divinity in 5th Edition, although it differs based on the subclass. I think we will see Paladins gaining Channel Divinity at an earlier level, with Divine Sense being a class-wide Channel Divinity ability. For Druids, I think that Wild Shape will be flavored as their Channel Divinity ability, with the alternate Wild Companion rule from Tasha’s being a second Channel Divinity option.
For the Warrior group, their group feature needs to be about combat. And, other than Extra Attack, the Fighter’s Action Surge ability is a great way to get some extra damage in. My guess is that Action Surge will be extended to all classes in the group and the number of uses will be tied to your character’s proficiency bonus. Monks can sort of do this with Martial Arts, and Barbarians would enjoy the buff that some extra actions would allow.
For the Mage group, their group feature needs to be about spellcasting, and I think it will involve recovering Spell Slots. Wizards have Arcane Recovery, Sorcerers can use Sorcery Points to regain spell slots, and Warlocks recover all of their spell slots during short rests instead of having to wait for a long rest. I could see the One D&D team finding a way to merge these abilities in some way, even if it is just the same ability name with differences noted for each class.
Subclasses
I'm already writing a series of what subclasses I think we'll see for classes that have already been released as playtest material: Bard, Cleric and Ranger (with Rogue coming next week). I give some initial thoughts in some of the sections below, and I plan to continue with each class after they are released.
Fighters
Many would argue that the Battle Master subclass is the best of the Fighter subclasses, and maneuvers really enhance what Fighters are capable of. With the desire to equalize spell casters and non-casters, I could see all Fighters getting access to something like Manuevers to up their tactical advantage. That would be a great differentiator: Monks would have access to Ki, Barbarians would Rage, and Fighters would have “tactics” (using this term to differentiate it from maneuvers gained via the Battle Master subclass). I could see ‘tactics’ giving you bonuses / abilities based in your Strength / Dexterity modifier and having a number of uses equal to your proficiency bonus.
Monks
With Rangers getting some major upgrades in recent updates, I am really hoping that Monks get some love in the same way and become the ultimate unarmed warrior. With the Unarmed Fighting style as a template, I could see a d6 being the base Martial Arts die instead of a d4, making a d12 be the die for high-level monks instead of a d10. The higher average damage from the get-go paired with access to Action Surge would be a major boon already to this class. And then with the right polish on the 4 subclasses that will be included (probably Astral Self, Open Hand, Mercy, and Shadow), we would have a solid option again.
Sorcerers
While I don’t know if it would stick, I could see a future playtest where, instead of being a Charisma-based spellcaster, sorcerers would become Constitution-based. This would better play into the flavor of it being a natural ability, whether inherited from their bloodline or their surroundings or gained from some entity that wasn’t giving their power through a pact (which is Warlock territory).
Wizards
When Jeremy Crawford announced that each class would only have 4 subclasses in the “One D&D Player’s Handbook,” a lot of people got to wondering what that would mean for Wizards, as there are 8 schools of magic and those made up the core subclasses in 5th Edition. My guess is that we won’t see any subclasses in One D&D based around the schools of magic, especially with the move to differentiate between Arcane, Divine, and Primal spells. Instead, we will see something like the Holy Orders from the Cleric playtest document, in which you would have an ‘area of study’ for your wizard. Then, you would say something like “I’m an Order of War Magic Wizard specializing in Evocation and Abjuration magic.” Subclasses would then be modeled after the existing non-school subclasses: Order of Bladesinging, Order of Scribes (which I think will be the “base” wizarding subclass), Order of War Magic, and Order of Runecraft (which is a “live 5E playtest subclass, most likely showing up in Bigby Presents Glory of the Giants).
Warlocks
In all the playtest material currently released, all classes are now getting their subclass at 3rd level. Of all the classes, this goes against the flavor of the warlock (as we currently understand it) the most. You make your deal with your patron, right? But the same could have been said for Clerics, who pick a deity to follow. However, with the handling of Clerics in their playtest document, I could see this pattern still working – you would still pick your patron at first level, but that pact isn’t fully realized until 3rd level, where the patron would then grant unique abilities based on their type (and beginning your true subclass path). This would fit the flavor, as many patrons could be seen as being of multiple types – like a Demonic Archfey or a Fathomless Old One. In addition, I think Eldritch Blast will now be the 1st level Feature of the Warlock class, making it a cantrip no longer. This will be the first way to begin expressing your connection to your patron.
Wrap-Up
Anyways, what do you think we'll see with the future of One D&D? How much of my guesswork will really happen?
@dailyadventureprompts - would be interested to hear your ideas

Total Beginner's Guide to running a tumblr fandom event week
So, you want to run a fandom event, like a week (or a bingo), and you don't know how to get started? Here's a guide to the process. It's not perfect, and the best experience remains to try your hand at it! Anyone has tips to add, please feel free! My credentials are that I've run 4 events across 2 fandoms, and will be using those works as examples along the way. This is a LONG POST.
Collect data
You don't want to run a week that already exists. It's bad etiquette, and you could step on toes. It also could be bad for your event, because people who already follow the well established event blog may not bother with yours.
Beware too of timing clashes! People are busy and might not be able to do multiple weeks at the same time. That being said it's not rare for weeks to run close to each other with parallel topics.
For example, "X/Y Kink Week" will not necessarily appeal to the same creators as "X/Y fluff Week". And some motivated fans may want to do both!
Check your fandoms for blogs like this Star Wars events aggregator!
Another aspect of data collection is more hands on: go and visit the blogs of all the weeks you took part in, and all the ones you find as you browse, type random week ideas, see what pops up. Check fandoms you aren't in as well! Check out their art, their FAQ, their masterposts. Take notes. Better, copy paste all the great turn of phrases to workshop later!
There's no need to reinvent the wheel, if you see a couple of blogs have incredible FAQs and rules, lift healthily and apply to your own event (of course, no one likes plagiarizing, so use your own words). Save the banners and "brand art" from blogs that slap. If it arrested your eye, it probably worked for others.
Having a strong visual identity is important. We'll get back to that later.
Another point of data you want to look into is, well... Is there a demand for your idea? You may have seen these posts floating on your dash before, called "Interest Check". Even blogs running yearly events will set those up, floating date ideas, etc.
It's best to run such checks from your own personal fandom blog or by reblogging a post from your newly created event blog, to reach more people (assuming your followers are into that same fandom). Ask around on discord communities too. If no one wants to do it... You risk spending a lot of time and effort for little return.
But that's fine too! Maybe you're running this week because your 5 fandom buddies all want to do it, and some randos may join!
Don't be afraid if you don't get hundreds of notes. It's all proportional to fandom size, how many people you reach yourself, but also, such blogs get bigger when they're run over time. I ended my first Arcane event with 70 followers. After 3 events it has 216! Obviously any future "interest check" I do will reach far more people.
2. Sit down and think about it
I'm sure you've already been thinking a lot about that fandom week you want to run, but you need to think some more.
Is it around a very popular ship? Is the fandom very young and buzzing with creativity? > You might want to enlist several mods to help you out!
About mods... You can add them by clicking on your blog and going to members
Tumblr media
Be careful whether you want someone to be an admin or a mod. As you can see, I can choose to leave, remove or promote mod 2, but I can't do anything to mod 1. That's because I made them admin, and the blog belongs to them as much as me. No mutiny possible!
Mods can't edit the posts made by admins (only their own). This power distinction is very useful when someone has a popular fandom week blog but no time to run the event, and wants friends or fellow fans to help, without losing final say on their blog. For example, I don't own the Obitine blog, but I ran the 2021 event as a mod since the admin (who I don't know!) had no time for it.
Tumblr media
If you are not doing a specific ship but instead focusing on a character or a place or concept, what sort of ship will you allow to write for/depict?
Even if you don't want to touch the topic or anti vs. proship, people will label you on their own.
Do you want to ban certain ships to avoid expected backlash? Mishandling this can also make you look like an anti yourself and bring its own backlash. Not passing judgement on what the solution is here, after all you do you! Just know that people online will have strong opinions and may not be afraid to slug them at you, no matter how hard you try to stick to your guns. Running an event is stepping out quite publicly.
If your week is a "rarepair" week for example, how will you set the limit? Do you define a rarepair as "a ship under X amount of fics on AO3" or some other measure? Again, will you be allowing controversial pairings?
You'd think running a Gen event would save your ass, but the only time I received death threats was because I was reblogging someone Anon didn't like... On an event about parenting/mentorship!
Once you've decided on such rules, SPELL THEM OUT and stick to them.
Going back to the first bullet point, others have pondered the issue! Once you've decided on the type of event you're running, see how similar events managed setting boundaries.
Don't be afraid to make this a group effort and turn to your friends and server communities. You can also ask them for help deciding on prompts. Some blogs let their followers make suggestions, others don't.
Decide too what sort of medium you want to allow. Some weeks are fanart only. Some are fanfic only. Others encourage anything.
Think about tagging policy and whether you'll deal with NSFW content. You'll want to state clearly if there are things you won't reblog.
All those conclusions will be distilled into the rules of your event and included on your masterpost accordingly.
3. Create your socials
You've made up your mind, and it's time to make a new blog! If you think you'll love this whole fandom event shtick, make a vague URL. "Fandom X Event blog" can be used multiple times, vs. something like "X/Y Shipping Week".
I've seen people run their event from their personal fandom blog. You do you, but I don't recommend it. It makes browsing the event much harder.
This is when you best do an interest check, if you haven't already.
If you expect fics to be made, you can create an AO3 collection (an example). You can copy paste your FAQ and rules directly there. If you want more submissions (especially fanart or cosplay), create a matching twitter account and link the two (it's done in Settings > Blogs (select the fandom blog) > scroll down to "Twitter" > Share on Twitter).
This is exponentially more effort and some blogs never bother. This is all up to you!
On your tumblr, create a FAQ page and enable Asks so people can reach out with questions. If you don't know how to create pages, check this tumblr tutorial. New blogs can't create pages, so better get started early. At worst you can make a post for the FAQ, but a page is easier to find.
4. Decide on the date and stick to it
Just what's on the tin. Don't surprise people with a late date change unless you really can't help it.
5. Time to make some artistic calls
The benefit of having a distinct visual identity is simple enough to understand if you've done any scrolling on the hellsite. Your eyes quickly glaze over, and text posts (especially long ones) get skipped way more easily.
Having a banner for your event makes your posts more arresting and more recognisable. Save this for important posts of course, not every update needs a banner.
It can be very basic stuff, and if you're not good with graphics, ask around. Plenty of creatives in fandom, and I'm sure a friend will be glad to do that work for you, and if they don't work on the event itself you can shoot them an @ in thanks.
The most important piece of visual media is going to be the prompt list. Not everyone bothers making an image, but I recommend you do. You should still pair it with a text post, but many people (such as myself) will download that image and work from it, rather than hunting your blog down each time to check.
Ideally, your prompt image should include the name of the event, the prompts, the dates and potentially your # and socials.
Using my own material for example :
Tumblr media
This post has the dates in the text, but not the image itself. I ended up making a lot of different versions of that prompt post, which allowed people to reblog whatever character they liked best and spread interest for the event, but I wish I'd put dates and socials on there!
Tumblr media
This one is better, with the days being listed a lot more clearly with their date. But the thin white font isn't ideal for readability. And that's important! Don't go overboard with insane graphics, clashing colours, complex fonts and effects. You want people to be able to parse the image easily and without squinting. The pretty effects and dividers here are just a funky free font from the internet called Bergamot Ornament.
Tumblr media
This one is the most inclusive. It also has the tags and socials! But ideally it should be 1 image instead of 2. It also makes good use of ALT description.
See here how the banner style of that last one was kept across the subsequent posts? And then across all the daily prompt art. This makes the event more distinct and identifiable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I've done daily prompt art in other events too. They're definitely on the side of overkill, but if you're having fun preparing art for your event, why not?
5.b. Wait, what about the prompts?
You do you! It should be part of your research. If you're running a month long event, a prompt a day is best. If you're running a week, 2 prompts a day is more common, in case people hate the one prompt. Some people like to do word prompts + AU prompt + image prompt... In our trans event we had 4 prompts a day. In our bingo cards we sometimes had 2 prompts in a square! Multiple prompts can also help having a gen and shippy option in the same day (like "cooking together" and "first kiss" might result in very different dynamics, but people can also have fun doing a piece with a first kiss happening while cooking together!)
Pick what you like best, but less is more for a beginner.
6. The important posts
The main two posts are the one announcing the dates and the rules, aka the "Masterpost", and the one with your prompts.
The Masterpost announces the dates, the # for the event (pick something easy and UNIQUE!!), explains what sort of event you are, includes the basic rules, and links to your FAQ, all your socials and AO3 collections. This post is nice with a banner. See here (a bingo masterpost for a change)
The Prompt post includes the visual prompts, and the complete text version of said prompts, the date, the #, and a link to the masterpost. See the posts linked above. You'll want that pinned to the top of your blog until the start of the event, and arguably throughout.
7. Give yourself time, and now advertise
Don't get a week started too quickly! People need some time to see your blog. Getting started on preparations 2 months ahead is good I think. Not any less than a month, but you can play further ahead of time, especially if you run a lengthy interest check and involve fans in prompt picking.
A good way to be on people's dash a lot as you build to the week is to have posts and banners leading up to the event, as shown above. "Two weeks to go!" and "One week to go!", final countdowns, etc.
Part of your preparatory research should have you browse the archives of popular event blogs, to see what sort of posts they made in the lead up to the event.
Be careful with how you tag your own posts, as they will be appearing in tumblr searches. Make sure your posts show up in the important tags.
Don't neglect discord! Servers can be quite insular, and if some of your friends are on multiple servers, they can help you promote the event more widely. Word of mouth can really do wonders. I've learned about weeks solely because someone mentioned working on some prompts in a discord server!
Opinionated advice : some people like to reblog art ahead of the week to build hype. I have done it myself in the past, and in the end I strongly suggest you don't. Being a blog dedicated to promoting a concept (a ship, a character, etc) is different from running an event. Going back to people having opinions about you... Some artist may resent having their art shared on an event blog, as it makes it look like they contribute to said event. Maybe they don't want their work shared to a greater audience. Maybe they don't like your philosophy, the other ships you sail, etc. Of course you could always reach out for permission! This remains a personal choice and a matter of etiquette, but I think an event blog is more professional when sticking to its event content.
8. Follow your own tag
Type your event tag in the search bar and hit the follow option. This will create a shortcut, whenever you click on the search bar! It works on mobile too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Once the week gets started, you'll discover that people don't follow the rules, no matter how you spell them out and how much you plead.
You might beg people to @ your blog and use #ThisEvent2022, and they'll still go ahead and not @ you and post under #this event.
I tend to also check such adjacent tags to cover all bases. I've caught a few people that way.
9. Running the week itself
This is by far the easiest part, and to make it even easier you should decide how you'll use tags ahead of time. Keeping a pattern is nice. It's tidy and helps navigating the blog long term. It'll help you too if you decide to create a masterlist of all entries for example. Bear in mind that people won't be able to find your reblogs by keyword searching tumblr directly. They'll only see the original posts. So the tags on your own reblogs are only for the purpose of archiving and to help people reblogging from you have basic tags suggested to them.
Character name, character ship (A x B, A/B, or Ship Name), character quality (Like Trans Character or Pirate Character), type of art (gif set, fanart, fanfic), Your event tag, fandom tag, any potential AU or NSFW tag, artist handle.
This is a thorough tagging system that works well for events with multiple characters or ships. Adjust accordingly!
Then it's a mix of checking the tags and your notifications! Kudo, reblog... Up to you to decide if you post all in one go, throughout the day, and how long you'll be checking the tag for late participants.
You'll also have to decide how to juggle cross-posting to twitter or from twitter to tumblr, which is less easy. Brush up on Twitter etiquette. I'm told asian twitter likes Quote Retweets, while the Western side of Twitter sees them as stealing notifications and traffic from the artist. Keep an eye on artists who post on each platform, and reach out to those who don't to ask if they're okay with you crossposting. When going Twitter > Tumblr, make sure to include a very clear link, and the #Artists on Twitter tag.
If you have mods, keep an eye out for mistake-reblogs, as it's a very easy mistake. Try to spread work around too. Maybe someone is in charge of Twitter. Maybe your co-admin is up while you sleep and will keep an eye on the blog, etc.
You don't have to do daily prompt posts, but my personal philosophy is that they can be useful to followers, and if they get passed around it's more advertisement for your event, so it can't ever hurt.
Regarding AO3, people might struggle to find your collection. I don't know why, it's happened to me with my own collections, others' too. Have a clear and easy collection name, and give people the exact word they need to enter. It may not show up in the menu, but the fic will still be added to the collection. Make sure the collection is open too, of course.
10. Wrapping up!
When the week is over, you can make a big old post thanking everyone who participated, mention highlights... This is when you'll want the masterpost to become your pinned post, instead of the prompts one.
And for a very clean blog (or after other events on the same blog) you can create a multi event (or year) masterpost that stays pinned between events. This would contain links to your AO3 collections, event tags, information like whether you're still open to late submissions or not, etc.
11. Okay but what about Bingos? Month long events?
The same rules apply!
Bingos are very similar in practice, except you have to make Bingo cards, either yourself or using free online tools. The easy way is to have 1 card for everyone. The more intensive version is to have more options and randomize cards, handing them out to anyone who asks. Most "free" online tools limit you very quickly, so that's more work.
You share the bingo card like a prompt list. People tend to use your card and "cross off" their entries, so making it look good is also important (and also why randomized cards take more time).
Bingos can be done over a week, but a less hurried pace is better, as the final/most OP version of bingo is to do the entire card, and that amounts to a lot more than 7 entries! You want to give the crazy people dedicated fans more time!
Some events run over a month, with daily prompts, others with weekly prompts, etc. Have fun making your own format, but a week is a good starting point.
That's it! Hope this guide was helpful! Go forth and run fun weeks!

Note
I know this blog hasn't been active in a while but I feel like I have to ask: why are revolutionary girl utena gifs on a stim blog?
that is an excellent question, to which my only answer is that it’s... kind of a historical accident, honestly?
I started noonlight because I thought making gifs was fun. at some point I started gifing things like disney movies and my favorite video game, and, well, the obvious place to put those was on the blog I had established for posting pretty gifs, right? so I put them there.
and then when I acquired the mp4 for howl's moving castle, I thought, well, obviously I should put my studio ghibli gifs there too! they’ll probably have approximately the same audience! and they did indeed have approximately the same audience, but this choice established a precedent. and so when I got into RGU and later PMMM, I went “...well, I still enjoy gifmaking, I still really like making edits of particularly beautiful scenes, and I’ve already got this animation edits tag, I... guess that’ll go on noonlight too?”
so I don’t put edits of the obviously-disturbing-even-out-of-context scenes on this blog, or (for instance) that one scene in episode 33. but, yeah, that’s how we got here.
other things I’ve contemplated putting edits of on this blog, incidentally:
moulin rouge (2001)
moulin rouge (stage show)
velvet goldmine (1998)
arcane league of legends
nbc hannibal (I would like to claim that my friends talked me out of this one, but actually every single one of my friends is a horrible enabler and when I say “I have an idea but it’s bad” they all go “no that’s a great idea do it it’ll be so funny.” such is life.)
