The full membership of the Teen Titans, circa 1977, by the late, great George Perez.
This is from when there were two teams - Titans East (Robin, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, Speedy, Aqualad, Guardian, Bumblebee, and Harlequin), and Titans West (Hawk, Dove, Lilith, Gnark, Bat-Girl, Golden Eagle, Beast Boy) - and before Perez and writer Marv Wolfman brought the concept to new heights with The New Teen Titans.

Alright so this is some of my notes after watching
-What are those gray highlights Mantis has now? Is she getting old by the standards of her race? Or is it something like poliosis? Or just a fashion statement? But honestly whatever it is, I like it.
-I fucking love Nebula
-Ah yes, soviet bashing by Cosmo
-Half of the film just gave me second hand embarrassment, it killed me
-Did Kraglin really just said "Kragula" or I'm tripping? That- That sounds like a Kraglin x Nebula ship name lmao
-My dog now has two new nicknames Cosmo & Chip Chip
-The fighting scenes were cool, but I feel like in the first two films they were more epic
-At this point Groot is like a Swiss knife
-Alright so the blad dude really just made a planet of furries
-People really like to underestimate how smart Rocket actually is, it's so annoying
-So we have already seen a lot of arguing between Peter and Rocket, so I'm really glad to actually see their friendship
-I did not expect to almost cry multiple times while watching this
-The Guardians is what I expected wanted the og Avengers to be ;-;
-I miss Peter's red coat
-The fact that Gamora had the blue suit and Nebula had the green suit bothers me so much
-The Rocket & Nebula friendship <3
-Drax kinda reminds me of my dad
-Cosmo's fur looks so soft! What kind of conditioner is she using?
I'm about to watch guardians of the galaxy vol 3 for the first time, wish me luck

Destinytober day 20 ghost
A Destiny fanfiction for @d2artevents event Destinytober day 20 ghost featuring my Destiny ocs and give their origin stories.
While he and his fireteam have some time off from missions, Gen the titan guardian ask his fellow guardians, "I have been curious, guys. When did you first meet your ghost?" The two guardians and their ghosts look at each other as they wouldn't know that they would be asked that question which Gen said, "I understand that your ghosts first come to you when they bring you back to life, but I want to know where you first meet as well give their names? I share mine and Red stories to be fair."
Sarah-08 the Exo guardian tell her tale, "I don't recall my past life like you guys except for some lose memories of me getting some citizens out of a building that were collapsing and I didn't make it out. I don't know how it was since I die, but Salem found me later one and bring me back to life. While he is a good friend, my ghost was a bit of snarker and I did recall a old TV show of a teenage girl living with a talking snarker cat named Salem, so I named my ghost in honor of that Salem. After getting to the city, I painted some lighting bolts on him to symbol my role as a warlock."
Artume the Awakon guardian is the next one to tell her story and she begins, "Remus found me in some battlefield and it was nightmare for me as I don't know if I was dreaming or was really alive. As me and my ghost wander on the battlefield and dodging enemies, I choose to named him after Remus from a legendary figure in one of the few memories I have left along with me growing up poor. Since my name has connection to that age of myth, I guess Remus name is a good fit for him."
Gen the human guardina now tell his origin story to the others, "When Red bring me back to life in the ruins of Old Russia, I found dogtags on me that have the name Gen and it said that I was a soldier, which allow me to remember some parts of my past since as I was a soldier for humanity against the darkness during the fall of the golden age and I did in battle. I guess ghosts like Red was unsure if it would be safe to travel to where that battle took place to find guardians due to the enemies there, but Red told me that some of the other ghosts whose found their guardians were teasing him." and Salem said, "Oh yeah, I remember that. We used to call ghosts whose don't find their guardians sparky as they are just new sparks from the Traveller and didn't prove themselves yet. Finding a guardian is a rite of passage for us ghosts." Gen soon continue his story, "Well, while getting around Old Russia, I found a old flag with the color of red and it feels important to me, so I named my ghost Red before I give him the coat of paint. If we didn't find that ship, we both wouldn't got out of there alive."

ARC REVIEW: The Frostbound Queen by Amy Pennza
Tumblr media
3.75/5. 8/13/24.
Vibes: MMF, elves!!!, guardian/ward, enemies to lovers
Heat Index: 9/10
The Basics:
Elven princess Liria is meant to inherit her father's throne—but when he dies, she's confronted with the realities of her own power, leaving a vacuum open for his friend (and her guardina) Ronan to step in. Fleeing to the human lands, Liria meets the charismatic Prince Sigurn. Torn between her long-simmering feelings for Ronan—unsure of whether she should even trust him—and her new connection with Sigurn, Liria is even more thrown when it turns out the men know each other... and the threats to her throne may be more complex than she realized.
The Review:
It's always lovely to pick up a book thinking it's a love triangle, when in fact... It's MMF! Yes yes, Sigurn and Ronan know each other INDEED, and swords do cross (quite a bit) and everyone is in love with everyone at the end, so... have no fear triangle-haters. This is the whole thing.
I don't hate triangles, so while I was happy that this turned out to be a triad romance (which I love quite a bit) I was honestly more worried about the elf thing. Elves can be really hit or miss for me—but these were ROYAL elves, and therefore I was willing to play ball.
There was really no need to fear. The elf stuff was well done, and not overly... elven. You get some politicking, some fighting for the throne, and some cool ice powers. But it's not Lord of the Rings; I mean, it's VERY far from that, all things considered. So if you're a little worried about how elfy this is going to get, I'd say that you're going to be pleased here.
I'd never read Amy Pennza before, and she has a quick, snappy, engaging writing style that pulled me in from the beginning. Her writing flows, her dialogue is fun, and I'd say that this reads pretty smoothly overall. I can't say that this is a total "one-handed read", because honestly? You get a good chunk of plot here. Like, yeah, the plot ultimately kind of leads to us getting these three into bed together, but like... There's betrayal. There are blood vows. I actually really liked some of the worldbuilding aspects. Basically: if you want your triad books to have actual substance, you'll get that here (if not quite as much as you would with, say, a Sierra Simone book).
Where I do have my quibbles are really in the character dynamics. I love poly romances. I love MMF. It is very difficult to write it without the heat being prioritized over the relationship development, which leads to one or two dynamics being emphasized over the other.
Here's where I think we had some stumbling blocks, to be honest. I was immediately drawn to Liria and Ronan's bond—if you aren't into guardian/ward stuff, then look away, because he has known her since she was a kid, and he is her dad's best friend. The book is very upfront about all of that. The thing is that this gives us a lot of layers to work with. They're conflicted, they're drawn to each other. You can feel the years of tension. To top it off? Liria is now suspicious of Ronan attempting to dethrone her, and he had does have genuine internal conflict about it.
Like, I can't say that Liria has as much depth as Ronan—he's easily the most compelling character of the three. But there's more for her to bounce off of when she's with him. There's a real trajectory the two of them must reach, a dynamic that has to overcome hurdles surrounding trust, duty, and entitlement.
Sigurn... is hot. He's Big. He's a bit rakish, but in a jolly kind of way. He tops. And yes, he has his family drama, and we know that he and Ronan have battled wills in the past. But by the time we see them together, they do have... tension, but a kind of equilibrium and acceptance of an imperfect relationship. Yes, there are a couple more steps to go, and they take them. Their dynamic is intriguing—but you don't get as much emotionally between them as you do between Liria and Ronan, and Liria and Sigurn one-on-one are honestly basically instalove and kind of boring in comparison to the other two dynamics. Ronan and Liria? Lots of conflict. Sigurn and Ronan? Lots of tension. Sigurn and Liria? Kind of just... fine. The sex is hot. There you go.
And for me, this really becomes more apparent as the story goes on. Sirgun just isn't as interesting as Ronan, and his dynamic with Liria isn't as interesting as her dynamic with Ronan, and his dynamic with Ronan is interesting, but a lot of the source of conflict has already HAPPENED.
It's not BAD, but it did kind of stick with me towards the end of the book. I got why Liria and Ronan were tangled up with each other. I sort of got why Ronan and Sigurn were all twisted up, though to be real, I felt like Ronan seemed way more preoccupied with Liria. Sirgun was just... not as important. This being an MMF book, I did have to take issue with that.
However, the story remains really fun. I was always engaged, and I breezed through the audiobook (which has good narrators all around). For a lot of people all my critiques here are not going to matter, because if you want a good time, you'll get a good time. And to be clear: I absolutely plan on reading more Amy Pennza.
The Sex:
I mean. It's really good. Each pairing in the triad gets an individual scene (I gotta say, Liria took quite a... pummeling... for an inexperienced woman in that short amount of time, but I'll chalk it up to elf stuff) plus several trio scenes. I do feel that Sigurn's status as "least interesting person here" continues into the bedroom, as he's very typical "let me tell you what to do", but hey. I'll openly admit that Ronan is probably the worst person at that bar, and boy does that make me like him more.
Overall, this is a really fun, hot romance that's perfect for those who want something high heat, fantastical, and a bit on the lighter side without being too lightweight. Don't let the elves scare you off!
Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for providing me with a copy of this audiobook. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Elemental Guardians
General Information: each of the guardians are very large. They are at least twice if not more larger than the animal they appear as. They are also all capable of shape shifting into other normal animals in appearance or even humans or elves. they are also essentially gods to this world in a way. immortal, powerful, and each has created their own creatures that aligns with their specific element.
Guardian of Fire: Udar / male [ image ] - octupus
Tumblr media
About the Guardian: Formed from the magma under the ocean floor. Quickly formed into the hottest causing this fire octopus to turn into a blue flame. He is able to travel throughout the world using the magma systems underground from the oceans all the way to active volcanoes. It is said if a volcano is about to erupt that a blast of blue flames can be seen. Sometimes the guardian can be appeased through sacrifices for a time and the volcano will not erupt. Udar is the source of warmth of the earth, the source of fire and magma.
Guardina of Water: Broraura / female [ image ] - plesiosaur like
Tumblr media
About the Guardian: This one roams mostly the arctic waters and therefore is really only seen by the ice dragons and elves for the most part. Occasionally it will roam warmer waters bring with it the cold arctic water which can cause an interesting weather as a result. It's color palette can also change depending on the temperature of the water. If it's cold it looks more icy and pale. The warmer it will have darker blues. This can sometimes make it rather difficult to see in the water as well almost as if it blends in completely.
Guardian of Nature: Colios / male [ image ] - deer
Tumblr media
About the Guardian: Said to be the source of all life that is upon each inch of the land. Colios is indeed the most ancient of the guardians and was the first to exist. He also tends to the most isolated allowing the life that was created to flourish and have it's own free will. The other guardians have also had to the creations and even added on to the few that Colios has created. He allowed it causing the various elemental elves and dragons for example. When he does explore outside of his ancient and sacred forest he appears as and elder. An old grandfather who is surprising full of life as well as love for all of his creation.
Guardian of Light: Eesis / male [ image ] - pegasus
Tumblr media
About the Guardian: One of a twin set, one side of the same coin. Eesis carries the sun across the sun with his large wings and meets his sister in the middle as she pulls on the moon. These two rarely touch the surface but are the source of light and dark, healing and pain, life and death. They are opposites in every sense of the word. Occasionally Eesis will land on the the surface of the earth allowing smaller deities to complete the task set upon him. He will appear as a kind healing man traveling from different places allowing miracles that otherwise would not happen. It is said that if great healing happen and there is a stranger that it was actually the light/sun guardian.
Guardian of Darkness: Zidsus / female [ image ] - pegasus
Tumblr media
About the Guardian: The other set of the twins who is the exact opposite of the Light Guardian. Just as her brother pulls the sun she uses her large wings to also pull the moon across the sky. Unlike her brother she can bring fear and death upon the world when she lands on the earth. She rarely touches the ground but when she does people will blame her for war and diseases that spread the the lands. Her appearance is similar to her brother's human form she appears unsuspecting of what she is assumed to be.
Guardian of Weather: Zuvton / male [ tba ] - owl (? still deciding)
Tumblr media
About the Guardian: A creature that is found in the clouds of the sky. The one who determines where each lighting bolt should land, if a tornado should appear, if a blizzard will rain down. This is the most unpredictable of all the guardians as well as the youngest. There isn't nearly as many legends around this guardian but every now and again you can hear a farmer curse Zuvton's name. Either from a lack of rain or too much of it.
*** some of these i'm not completely done with and still want to figure out. but a good basic layout at the very least! idk if anyone is even interested so may make updates as i think on more things i want to add. but they were fun to figure out at the very least.

Yeah like how to tell someone has NOT wtached the spurce material or mischarateriz them severally
They try to make an alteady dark story into a dark story.
Like sleepy boys isnt the C!dsmp standard dynamic. Just the CCs. They also werent really ever the found family trope as much as their credited for, even in other stories on other smps or servers.
Hell, Techno killed Tubbo, Tommys best friend because schlatt said so. Philza hated his son, Wilbur and also hated his canonically grandson.
Like irl theyd be not veyr good people, they killed people, war criminals, and werenr even good guardians to "golden boy" Tommy, let alone their own canonical kids or grand kids. Also actively encouraged Ranboo to betray his husband, Tubbo, who was literally a governemtn leader and had firm ground to be enemies of them and the syndcite. Aka one of many reason why he had nukes???
Like theyre cool characters, but like. My guys you cant really do much to make them evil. They kinda were to the villians inna lot of other peoples stories, and NOT good influences on ranboo or Tommy.
Which is the point of Tommy's overall story: any guardina he seeks out is shit. His found family is Tubbo and Ranboo. Not Philza, not wilbur, not Techno, or quackity or Schlatt. They all suck.
And Tommy is proof of that.
Btw what the fuck is a “dark sbi au” these men are registered war criminals . If anything mafia is a step UP

Estonian teachers: strike at great cost to ourelves (my school was told by the county that we have no option to makeup for lost hours), are overworked, underpaid, often have to fulfill tasks that used to be normal to expect of parents, live in constant noise cause none of these children have selfcontrol nor can sit quietly
The Guardina: let's write a super illinformed article based on ONE brand new school in the capital abbout how the teachers here are the happiest in the world!
I am gonna scream

First / Previous / Next
(Oh boi why did I agree to colours! Well, I hope sort of looks good. experimented with the Hard Light setting for shading. This comic is for improving my art so I guess I just gotta power through it.)
(Finally, Sonic is in this comic (in flash back)! He will appear eventually, along with other movie (and non-movie) characters. Anyway, we have officially ditched Shadow and the RP can get super fun/bum.)

18. THE THANOS IMPERATIVE
It can be convenient at least know the context and a summary of War of Kings event, and, specially, it’s continuation Realm of Kings, because first Thanos’ appearance in The Thanos Imperative takes place as result of this second event. Plus, it is the reason why he is in the next Guardians of the Galaxy chapters.

———  ————    ————
At the end of The Thanos Imperative, it’s clear that no one knew what to do with Thanos, but he had to start becoming an important character in the comics because he was going to be the main villain the in movies. So they decided to reboot the character in a more dark tone, changing basic features of original Thanos, for a more modern view. In particular, they made official the idea of Thanos never getting over his obsession with Death; indeed, she is manipulating him since birth. This was because most of the public never followed the main canon properly, so Thanos was more known because of his sporadic appearances during 20 years as a standard basic villain, his obsession with Death never forgotten (and being she the responsible of that obsession and his acts), as if the development after Infinity Gauntlet never took place.
Thanos and Gamora relationship is going to change too, gradually, and Nebula will become Thanos’ daughter too, both cases adapting the movies canon. Plus, in this new canon, Adam Warlock and Pip aren’t included as Thanos’ related characters.
19. THANOS RISING
Thanos Rising #1
Thanos Rising #2
Thanos Rising #3
Thanos Rising #4
Thanos Rising #5
Based on the reboot, Jonathan Hickman put Thanos as one of the villains of this series Avengers, New Avengers and Avengers World, that taked place at the same time during some years with a unique plot (ok, Avengers World started later in his run). The first turning point of this run was the event Infinity, in which not only Thanos is introduced, but it’s also the most influential work for everything related to his lore at this moment. If you are interested only in Thanos part, you can read his plot understanding the main ideas, and ignore the rest of the event. Problem is that, after Infinity, the series continued to a shared ending in the next event, Secret Wars, and Thanos appears sporadically to the end. My recommendation, if you don’t want to read the three series from the very beginning, is to search for a detailed summary to know what’s happening at any moment. Otherwise, even if his part in Infinity can be understand, the rest to Secret Wars is nearly impossible.

24. The New Infinity Trilogy
Actually, only the first part, The Infinity Revelation, was published at this moment. The rest of the graphic novels and the mini-series were released during the next years. But as this is the end of Starlin canon for Thanos, and has nothin to do with the official Marvel canon, I prefer to put all of it here for a simple reading.

The Infinity Relativity #1
The Infinity Entity #1
The Infinity Entity #2

Stanley (Boss/Shenanigan) has bright yellow eyes! *SWOON*Did you know that the first dog to have yellow eyes in the breed was named Packer (Hugo/Betty Boop) in 1998. A curious puppy was born with clear blue eyes instead of the dark blue of all the other puppies. Lois pondered this curious feature until the pup turned 7 weeks old and his eyes began to shift from blue to yellow, just like wolf puppies' eyes do. Packer went on to breed many litters for the project and now we see yellow-eyed dogs throughout the breed. Find out more fascinating stories surrounding the beginnings of the breed by reading the Dire Wolf Project book:https://www.amazon.com/Dire-Wolf-Project.../dp/B07M6H8YM8

Quill: no I-
Rocket: are you boasting about that Quill?
Quill: nO I was just trying to-
Gamora: that was a very traumatic experience for you why would you say that?
Quill: *sighing, turning to Peter P* this is what I meant when I said the memes wouldn't work on them
