Camp Choas Harry goes from being the loveable but easily dismissed Professor at Hogwarts to the one man who held the Western Wixen Line by himself and somehow liberated two border villages from Grindelwald's power

It was an accident. Harry had only meant to visit the area for a very important and rare potion ingredient. One of the Campers had fallen ill to DragonPox- a death sentence. The other campers were ordered to quarantine from her but not before saying their final goodbyes. She would be dead, alone in a locked room in three months - and Harry had dispatched to find a cure after a vision at once.

No one believed he had seen a cure. How could they? DragonPox was one of the deadliest illnesses out there, and most thought the man was making a desperate sad attempt. But his campers did not wavier in thier faith of the camp leader.

If Harry claimed he could save Stephanie, then she would make it. He was delayed a bit fighting off a literal army, but he came back and brewed the potion.

Stephanie lived, two villages were free, England wasn't invaded, and DragonPox for the first time in history was defeated.

Tom greatly enjoys watching the Slytherins who mocked Professor Potter pale when the man walks by. They fear him now. They should fear him. They missed out their chance to gain his favor but Tom has been with Professor Potter from the very first camp.

He has the carvings knives to prove it and now it's Poor Oprhan Muggle-born Tom that they grovel to, hoping to gain even the slightest chance to impress Professor Potter. Then they realized that Tom is very much like said camp leader because they dismissed him too. They didn't know how powerful Tom is either.

And they pale just as white when they realize that Tom putting down his carvings is as scary as Harry's smile slipping.

Tom could get used to this.

Alright this is the last tomarrymort post au for now but — imagine a world divided by heroes and villains. Imagine an empire where a man named Grindelwald rules with his partner, Dumbledore.

Imagine a story where Tom and Harry grew up in the streets; where they had to scavange food in the trashcans. Hide in the alleyways. A world where no one cared about the poor, dirty children. A story where they grew up hating the very land they were born in. The world that hated them just because of their bloodline.

But even through the hardships they dream. Dream of having a bed and a roof over their head. Dreams of a house with just the two of them. They dream of the day they will finally be free.

But then — Harry disappears.

And when they meet again? It's in the battlefield. But not side by side or hand in hand — no. They stand, facing each other; against each other.

Imagine two estranged childhood friends. Imagine, Tom becoming Voldemort and leading an army of rebels, planing a revolution. Imagine a missing Harry, who returns as the dog of the very empire he hated. Imagine friends turned enemies turned enemies and maybe something more. Something carnal. Maybe it's love, who knows.

Unpopular opinion

Ron and/or Hermione should have died in the deathly hallows. And I say this as someone who loves these characters (probably Hermione more than Ron), but here me out

Now let's be fucking real, I really like ron, but he really wasn't skilled or prepared enough to fight in a war against voldemort, be it magically or mentally. And that's ok! He's still 17, he's not meant to be fighting a war. And to some degree he probably knew that the chances of him actually making it were pretty slim too. But he still stuck with Harry anyways coz there's no way he was going to let his best friend go through with this alone. Because that's who ron is, he'd rather die fighting beside his best friend, for his family, his muggleborn gf and for the cause than play it safe and hide.

Now coming to Hermione, things get a tad trickier here. Yes, she is very skilled and powerful and quick on her feet. But is she powerful enough to take on an army of adult DEs who've trained for years and have experience from the first wizarding war? To win against the darkest wizard who ever lived, who's said to be worse than Grindelwald, who's the most powerful wizard in the whole world after Dumbledore? No, I'd say she isn't. Because she's also fucking 17, she's not even done with school yet. But I think she'd live longer than Ron, or that there's a better chance of her making it out alive. But if she did die it would be extra heartbreaking coz a) Harry (and the readers) just lost 2 of the people who had been there from the very beginning, b) Hermione's parents would live on in Australia, not remembering that they had a daughter, not knowing that their daughter gave her life in hopes of saving her friend and creating a better world.

I majorly have 2 specific reasons for being this sadistic. The first one is the fact that the plot dumbs down it's main villain and his followers just to make the kids win. Voldemort (during Harry's time) is probably the dumbest villain ever written, he doesn't live up to his hype. People have already discussed how stupid his gof plan was. In ootp, during the DoM fight Lucius says that voldemort can't come get the prophecy himself coz the ministry is filled with ppl and he would risk revealing himself. But it's possible for 6 mostly dumb teenagers and an army of DEs, (who hv just escaped azkaban and are sought after by the ministry) to enter in undetected? Doesn't 👏 make 👏 any 👏 sense. The supposedly feared DEs who were trained by voldemort himself can't win against a group of teenagers. It's surprising how long it takes them to take the kids down in the DoM battle. The thing is though, this is out of character for ALL of them. It seems like they were dumbed down just so the MCs could make it out alive. Voldemort during the first WW started out as absolutely no one to having the highest class of the wizarding society obeying his every command. The whole wizarding world was so afraid of him that they wouldn't even say his name. The DEs picked out member after member of the original ootp, mostly coz they were outnumbered but also coz they're fucking death eaters. And ur telling me these guys can't fight kids? Pathetic. Also it doesn't make sense that most of the adults from the first war are dead but all the kids live. Like did the war become safer or sm shit? Instead i would have loved it if the trio got away with things in the first few books, but then realised what a war against voldemort actually means later on. But they won't back down, and they'll still stick with their friend and fight for each other and the cause anyways, and that vil have real, legitimate consequences

Now, the second reason is that it would have been an amazing but heartbreaking callback to book 1. Ron sacrifices himself in a game of chess and Hermione says that there are more important things than books and cleverness, like friendship and bravery. Ron's line of "It's you who has to go on Harry, I know it! Not me, not Hermione, you!" would have also come full circle. Back then they were still 11, so they could still get their happy ending. Now they're in a real war and the stakes are higher, but they'll stick to what they started anyways. Ron sacrifices himself so the other 2 can move forwards, Hermione's intelligence gets her further but she still needs to part with Harry. Harry needs to leave them behind and face voldemort alone because that's how it was always meant to be

And finally, it would have given us a more bittersweet ending to the series instead of that vanilla 'all is well' epilogue. Harry has lost almost every one he loved. But there's still life, there's still hope, and he lives by cherishing their memories and making their sacrifice have meaning. Kinda like the ending of the hunger games. Ik this is a kids book, but Harry Potter as a series is incredibly deep and deals with a lot of fucked up shit, so I think it could handle it if it was written well.

Voldemort Vs Grindelwald

I often see fans wondering who is more powerful between Voldemort and Grindelwald. Honestly, I have never asked myself this question because the answer seems too obvious to me. First of all, Voldemort is defined as the greatest dark wizard of all time, which would be enough to close the question but I will try to address it in points:

1 Magical Abilities: We know Grindelwald was a great wizard, sure, but could he have created 7 horcruxes? Would he be able to create an Inferi army? Would he be able to create a killing curse for Dumbledore too or a potion that he couldn't counteract? Would he have been able to fly without support? The point goes to Voldemort.

2 Confrontation with Dumbledore: Grindelwald faces Dumbledore in 1945, in a duel that remains in history, where he loses. Then he had the allegiance of the Elder Wand, and was up against an experienced but relatively young wizard. Voldemort duels with Dumbledore years later, when the latter had the allegiance of the wand. Dumbledore fails to defeat him. I've heard many say it's because Dumbledore was older, but magic doesn't work like that, you gain experience over time, so Dumbledore was even stronger than when he fought Grindelwald. Another point for Voldemort.

3 School: It may seem superfluous but Grindelwald was expelled from school, so he had less time to learn magic from professionals. Tom, as we know, was a model student, whose value was recognized by all. He again defeats Voldemort.

Bonus, Charisma: I've heard a lot of people define Grindelwald as more charismatic after seeing Fantastic Beasts. I'm not saying it's not true, just that they shouldn't be so quick to judge Grindelwald as more charismatic. First of all because we did not see Voldemort in the recruitment period, but only in the post Harry Potter period. In any case, we have addresses. First he gets the support of most pureblood families, despite being a halfblood himself, then he gets followed by various notoriously dangerous magical creatures such as giants and dementors. In his youth, when he chose to focus on his charm, he had the whole of Hogwarts at his feet and when he worked at Borgin and Burkes all the most particular clients were entrusted to him. He managed to approach Helena Ravenclaw, who was certainly known for her open character. And, finally, even when she was in Albania without a body he managed to get Raptor on her side. If this isn't charisma!

So, to conclude, for me Voldemort is undoubtedly more powerful and in an equal duel he would certainly win against Grindelwald.

His objective is incapacitating members of the terrorist organization TOWER. Ares is distantly related to Elian and Theo Goldcrest through their mother Kerina.

In the post you're replying to, I talk about the significance of the Shofar - a Jewish ceremonial instrument - to me personally. There's no way you can miss that I'm Jewish. That's how speculative fiction works.

SciFi robot rebellions? They have their roots in the idea of workers or enslaved people revolting against those that exploit them. I think a book of this kind is how we even got the word robot.

The Aristocats - not even speculative fiction, just a story about cats - is about people, and it has issues of racism. I'm not calling people cats if I point out "there's a racist stereotype in those cats."

If you can't see something like this unless it's named - if it can't be antisemitic unless the character is Jewish in canon - you have an issue of media literacy.

I literally collected the antisemitic stereotypes I noticed in the goblins TWICE and it's linked in the post you commented on. Shoving harmful stereotypes onto a fictional race is a very common thing in storytelling, and it's often discussed by the communities affected. Jewish people aren't the first to have a conversation like this. It doesn't become harmless just because they took all the stereotypes about us and put them on a fictional fantasy race.

I don't care if she wasn't part of the development. That means MORE PEOPLE are at fault, it doesn't absolve her. She had 25 years to acknowledge the antisemitism in her works and she didn't. One apology, one "I didn't know I was writing antisemitic stereotypes, it's good that people are talking about it so others can avoid this pitfall." And she didn't even do that. No, she added "preventing the holocaust" as one of GRINDELWALD'S stated goals. Now she's approving of a game that doubles down and even expands on those antisemitic stereotypes. She exploited the memory of the holocaust in the creation of her Death Eaters and then proceeded to disrespect it with the antisemitism she put into her work without acknowledging it.

An army of trans characters won't undo the harm she does in real life, and the people who created a game that perpetuates her cultural revelance can't say they don't support her - as individuals they might not approve of her opinions, but their actions support her.

Fuck off with "battling hate with hate." I won't embrace people who are indifferent to trans genocide.

He lost his best soldier, the only person who loved him for who he was (even if he didn't reciprocate her love), his only student, his long term paramour, his right hand, his army commander, the mother of his infant heiress, his strategist, his most loyal devotee.

He would seek revenge first and foremost. He would have it too. He'd slaughter Molly Weasley and then he would destroy all of his enemies in a blind rage and rule amongst a pile of corpses. He would shatter his own armies and rule with absolute terror.

When the battle is done I think he'd become engrossed with some extremely dark magic, toying with the balances of nature to find a way to bring her back. After all his resources in dark and light magic were far beyond even some of the greatest to have lived wizards and witches in history like Albus Dumbledore, Gellert Grindelwald, Merlin, Salazar Slytherin. He's also terrified of death, it's his only fear, so if he did bring her back he'd once again believe he is her savour and the person responsible for releasing her from her shackles.

The main reason I believe he'd want her back and would stop at nothing to have her back - is because he's selfish. Death took his mother, death tried to claim him too. I think it would take him a while to realise that he won't get the kind of loyalty from anyone else that he got from Bellatrix, nor anyone who can stand to look him in the eye, nor anyone (after the battle) who is still truly devoted to him.

Then again he says himself 'only I can live forever'. I think it's definitely a conversation he and Bella have had though, probably bought up very nonchalantly by her where she asks him who he'd like to consider his next right hand and he's utterly furious at the question. She suggests Delphini but he immediately shuts that conversation, she will solidify his reign, not command his armies.

I think if he couldn't find a way of bringing her back, which is highly unlikely, he'd be ruling with fear even amongst his death eaters, and while he's fine with that, I believe even he knows that having Bellatrix really fuels his fight because of how passionately she believes in him. He'd have no charm left to offer, no false kindness, no diplomacy.

He'd be ruling as a vengeful dictator, furious and pure unfiltered rage all the time.

What does Danny do in the future?

After he graduates Hogwarts, Danny becomes an auror! He works for the British Ministry of Magic and MACUSA. Later on, he returns to Hogwarts to teach Defense the Dark Arts while being an informant and collaborator in the resistance against Grindelwald, one of his primary contacts being Mara Ambrose @boxdstars, who Danny has known since their third year when she transferred from Ilvermorny, which his brother Isaac also attended.

He retires after the end of the 1944-1945 term - He had a feeling that keeping the job would end up being the death of him. Danny couldn't be sure, he felt something not right about Tom Riddle, one of his students. There was some kind of evil in the young man that unnerved Danny somewhat. Not to say he harbored something against Hogwarts, it was his home and alma mater. Just whatever it was going with Riddle made Danny feel it was the right time to move on.

Furthermore he had lost friends in the fight against Grindelwald and his army. Danny was willing to put himself in danger working with the resistance so that his friends and loved ones could be safe. He had done that for years. However, even him could only could handle it for so long. Late into the war, he resolved that once Grindelwald was no longer a threat, he would lay down his sword for the final time.

Although history would prove that wasn't the case. Danny was around during both of the wars against Voldemort. His duty to Hogwarts, his friends and family brought him back into the fight to aid his allies however he could, in spite of that he was getting older. Daniel "Danny" Roy Gibson peacefully passed away in the summer of 1999.
