i loved that even though he's in battle mode™ elrond stops and kneels in the middle of an active war zone to mourn his dead horse. i'm pretty sure it's the same one he rode to lindon in episode one too like that was his buddy :(((((

Gandalf as requested by @brethilach (thank youu)
You know not how difficult a task you've set me,,, I've always struggled so much with finding a way I like to draw Gandalf. I am mostly content with this. I was thinking he'd keep all sorts of bits and bobbles that he can wear on his person as he travels to remember the friends he's made. Saruman looks down on him for it, sees it as trashy and frivolous.

I keep seeing that post about how modern developers making difficult and obtuse retro games without tutorials are "forgetting that video games used to come with manuals."
Ya'll.
Yes. Video games used to come with manuals.
And our parents and older siblings fucking threw the manuals and the boxes out.
By the time most of us got our hands on The Legend of Zelda: The Adventures of Link, the manual that explained anything had been in the landfill for a year.
I promise promise promise you that the people making these games didn't "only discover them on emulator."
These games were obscure and mysterious to us because as children we had to figure out what was going on by trial and error.

I think there should be some magnificent writing done of the looming moral dilemma of Elspeth Rook Mercar, the Breaker of Bonds, the firm believer in heroic nonsense, falling for a Lucanis Dellamorte, whose calling is death, the First Talon of the Crows. Because no matter how big and soft his heart is, he’s still unavoidably will lead the organization who helped to save Thedas, yes, but also is intertwined with many of the horrors that the Shadow Dragons oppose. And yet, still she will always choose Treviso, instead of Minrathous.

I am plagued by the question....
What do you think Arwen calls Galadriel??
As much as it's probably some Elvish word/title, what if it's some weird specific title with Family Lore, like little kids come up with? Because that would be way more amusing.

I was so confused as to why the oldest plant in my collection was randomly dropping leaves. I've had her for half a decade without any issue, and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong.
Turns out... there's a little baby succulent coming up. Nothing was wrong. I'm just a grandmother now.

I saw your post about trop and just need understanding. I'm so confused by the Fandom. Why is everyone so okay with this terribly written show? I'm not a super Tolkien fan. I know the lore but never read the books (much to my mother's and my bestie's shame) but even I know that Elrond isn't supposed to be frenching his mother in law. And I just see all these replies and posts swooning over it and praising how platonic their relationship is?????? Are people deliberately misunderstanding? Is this a "don't believe your lying eyes" situation? You don't usually make out with platonic friends.
I'm not sure which of my posts you're referring to, but like I'd said in any posts I made about R*P last year, I'm not a huge Tolkien nerd, just someone who saw the movies and knows some vague Silmarillion backstory. So I'm not really tapped into that fandom. And I can't really answer why people still like the show, as I'm not one of them, I'm not even watching season two so I have little to say about it. All that said,
Elrond did what now?????

I made a new meme, in which I think one of the biggest celebrations to date is announced, which is Donald Duck's 90th birthday. Unfortunately, today's Disney does not care about its characters at all, nor does it make quality cartoons as much as before, so the only thing left are comics that we can all enjoy. And yes, there will be issues of comics about it, as well as a book about Donald Duck's birthday.
By the way, below is Théoden, King of Rohan from the movie The Lord of the Rings (otherwise, the movie based on Tolkien's book of the same name) and that he was played by Bernard Hill. Sadly he died three weeks ago, otherwise he was a great actor and starred opposite Théoden and Captain Edward Smith in Titanic as well as other films. By the way, he is from England. Thanks to him for everything and yes, he was a great legend. Peace to his soul and eternal glory to him! Amen.
For the second author of the book, I'm not sure who drew and wrote it, but for the first book I know that maybe Ivan Bigarella did it, or so I think, but I'm not sure. However, he works a lot and draws in similar styles like Freccero and Mazzarello. If anyone knows, please let me know. Thank you!
I certainly declare this month as Donald Duck month, since this year is the 90th anniversary and big surprises are coming!

The more time I spend explaining Tolkien lore to my brother the more I realize that Tolkien was just batshit insane
#yes the world is flat and a globe at the same time#and yes if you go off the edge you fall into the void with Satan 1.0 (assuming the Straight Road doesn't just railroad you)#he calls Valinor “The place under some trees where everyone smokes weed” and honestly I wish they would do that instead#bilbo and frodo bring weed to valinor quick#i tried to explain the miriel-finwe situation and he's so confused#“so they died and they were all sad even though they didn't have to stay dead?? but she couldn't come back because he remarried??”#“but then he dies and says 'yo ill stay dead instead' and she's find now??”#does the big God just keep making elf and human souls or do they just. appear#i told him about Gil-Galad Son of Plothole#he is quickly realizing that yes#the valar are a bit incompetent#its fine#elrond's dad is a star his mom is a bird and his great great grandma is an angel#my sister gave up two seconds in despite sparking this by asking me about elf lore#apparently she actually just wants to know about legolas but not legolas' father because of the hobbit movies#let me rant about feanorian politics it'll be interesting i promise#shut up about your elf backflips you wanna hear about nirnaeth arnoediad and the kinslayings#tolkien#lotr#lord of the rings#silmarillion#the silm#is this a shitpost? idk#he's batshit insane but the world is great i love it#we still don't know where hobbits come from#they appeared one day#like potatoes#i had one tidbit of legolas lore and that was#the guy showed up several years late in a homemade boat with a dwarf#incomprehensible screaming
