With the one and only hydro dragon sovereign stuck to your side at all times, it was no surprise to anyone that the two of you had gotten close. But the creator falling in love with him?? That’s different.

Of course, the people of Teyvat had all wished to have a chance with you. And of course, everyone knew it was impossible… but hope is a good thing right? They knew the day would come though, just not so soon..

When the people found out that the Creator had someone they loved more than the usual “I love all of Teyvat equally and platonically.” EVERYONE WENT CRAZY. What do you mean the creator has a LOVER? What do you mean they’ve probably kissed. WHAT DO YOU MEAN ITS THE IUDEX OF FONTAINE????

Nevertheless, no one was actually disappointed. They had heard you talk about him through the screen even before you descended to Teyvat. They were glad you were happy… I guess (though they wish it was with them.) Fontaine obviously took pride in having the creator spend a lot of their time residing there, even more pride in the fact that you were romantically involved with a citizen of Fontaine.

Neuvillette wasn’t quite sure how to react to all of the publicity the news had gotten. Every time the two of you go out together he feels the stares coming from the people around you. The stares weren’t the usual stares he got when he was doing a court trial.. they felt new to him. He was glad that he was at least able to say more affectionate words to you out in public though!

“Monsieur Neuvillette! I’ve heard the recent news.. haha.. so, how’s it being with the Creator? Bet you feel real lucky, huh.“

Well, now that the news is out at least you can comfortably hold his hand outside of the Parlor! Not everyone is completely happy with this though.. Who might that be? The other archons of course! They all took pride in being among some of the closest beings in Teyvat to you, but now that they weren’t all equally close to you, feelings of jealousy began to rise.

Zhongli secretly felt smug about that though. I mean, of course anyone would. Being the Creator’s lover is probably the biggest flex in all of Teyvat!! Only certain people are able to even be close to the Creator, not to mention TOUCH them. (which are the playable characters.) Oh, and doing affectionate things like lovers do WITH THE CREATOR?? The things people would do to be in Zhongli’s place.

okay, so, it was a lot of fun. i'm not really sure how to get into this but it is definitely a finance movie. there was a lot of business jargon that took some getting used to, but it was also pretty fast paced so it all just sort of glossed over really needing to know what they were talking about. (and as the director/writer said after the film, it really isn't necessary to understand the technicalities).

the next big thing i need to mention is the editing. holy sound effects batman! there's a lot of cutting to stock-esce footage and sound effect over sound effect and sometimes absurd editing and cutting. but besides being a little jarred in the beginning not knowing what i was getting into i think it really worked for what they were trying to show here.

i just can't tell you how wonderful it is to see tom on a giant screen again, i missed this. having tom talk to you for an hour and a half was glorious! gah his voice ☺️🥰 it was very ferris bueller-esce in that way. also he says fuck quite a bit in this film and that was a wonderful treat haha

but it wasn't just bobby (tom's character) who i liked, i grew to really generally enjoy the other characters in the movie. tom has a lot of funny moments of like jim from the office looks to the camera or through his 4th wall breaking, but there are also some really funny moments from all the characters

side note: my fav side character was farouk played by ashwin gore. so keep an eye out for him, he was hilarious. (also the actor showed up to the screening in-character and it was genuinely one of the funniest things ever. he did a song where he mentioned "where is tom blyth" and the little audience waved flashlights.)

anyways, i think there's also a lot of good fic potential for this character, i really want to explore MORE with him. especially since this was more of a fast paced comedy and not like a character exploratory piece

OH ALSO, i really wish they had kept the og title "discussion materials" especially bc it is mentioned in the film several times and i think it would've been a neater bow than bull run.

Suddenly I need you to write a dissertation on anything!! You're so well spoken <3 since we're getting into a bit of a character (?) study almost on them, I need you to talk about phil's supposed breakdown when dan left him aka went on tour. These two are so codependent it's adorable!! And now in the context of phil incorrectly (but still sweet) explaining to dan the invisible string theory. I can't!!!!! If it wasn't so sweet, it would almost be toxic but I love them!! They're obsessed with each other, only want each other, cannot stand to be separated for more than a day and want us to know it!

i again need to pause and thank you profusely because i am really happy that there is an interest for my little dissertations ^_^ this is the second to last day i have at home before i move back into university so we really need to maximize this time haha

honestly though, i know i say this every time i make a post but i actually don't know how many thoughts i have about this? i dunno... this is going to be messy but, i guess here are some of my thoughts as to why i don't think Dan and Phil are codependent (ft some tangents and affirmations that they are still crazy insane bc you are right and i'm emotional about it)

Dan is leaving me is actually such a masterpiece of a video because it is really like the loudest thing they have ever publicly released, barring the second pizza mukbang video. it's a little ridiculous in concept because like, come on guys, you're in your thirties and you haven't been apart for longer than two weeks? ever? in like a decade? but also like... i don't know! i kind of get it?

one of the aspects of their relationship that Dan specifically really amplifies in interviews (and throughout Dystopia Daily interestingly enough) is the fact that Phil is essentially a part of his everyday routine so much to the point that it's no longer remarkable. it's heard when he describes their relationship as "two 1,000 immortals/ancient divorced couple", or when he says "Phil doesn't count as a person", or when he calls Phil a piece of furniture (can't snag citations right now but if you are unfamiliar with any of these just ask me and i'll find them for you). a lot of these are done snarkily, but it is actually a massive facet of many close relationships: you become so used to each other that your everyday existence is parallel play, and you are so good at communicating that you know how to flow in and out of each other's spaces like it's breathing.

quick little Mare lore drop, let's talk about university! from January to May at the bare minimum, i would spend anywhere from 2-8 hours a day with my best friend (who comes up in these posts way too much i promise that isn't intentional). we'd study together, eat together, hang out together, etc. we were talking about this recently, because i'm actually not the most extroverted person in the world-- i have spent the majority of my time alone this summer by choice-- but i simultaneously spent literally every waking moment with another person in college, aside from when i was asleep and maybe an hour or two in the middle of the day. the last time i FaceTimed him we both spent it playing separate video games and basically not talking for 1-2 hours straight? yet i am exhausted after seeing another very close friend of mine at the mall for like, two hours. how do you reconcile all of that?

the reason why my best friend's company doesn't drain my social battery is because i have embedded being around him so deeply into my routine that my brain doesn't register it as a social event anymore. i could be in a room with him for literally eight hours and only spent about a quarter of that time socializing. and yet, a few days away from going back to university, that reality feels like a total shock to me, because i spend all my time alone-- how the fuck am i going to go back to being with him from three PM to midnight?

well, that's the exact opposite question Dan and Phil had to ask themselves in 2022! the two of them had been so used to each other's company that it really did become part of their daily routines: a post-social event recharge for Dan might not exclude him resting beside Phil, because Phil isn't a Person, he's just Phil who happens to be a person-- Dan's person. Dan playing the Elden Ring DLC involved Phil being there because yes, Dan was the one playing, but Phil's obviously allowed to be there. so, when Dan decides to go off on tour, and the two of them split apart... that's when the question springs up. because suddenly alone time isn't alone time and also Dan's there, it's proper, actual alone time. the things that you forget to do around the house because you know someone else is able to do them shocks you, because it was never a problem to rely on someone before-- Dan was literally always there! etc etc.

and i actually... okay, i love jokes about codependency and sometimes i do look at them (like with parts of Dan is leaving me) and go holy shit you two that's crazy, but i actually don't see this as a codependency thing! it's a pretty massive shock to anyone's system when you live around another person for that long in such a compact space, right? and like they joked about in... shit, i don't remember the video, might have been the wdapteo 3 (?), the two of them were startled to see the other person in the flesh after Dan's long stretch on tour because that is also a massive adjustment! it's kind of a terrifying one to be honest! just like how university life / home life is a distinction for me, home life / WAD life was a distinction for Dan. and i do take note of the fact that this scenario was unfolding while Dan was the one on tour, because I do think we'd see something kind of interesting if it was the other way around-- like, my point holds, but Phil was right in the video when he said that he has lived alone before versus Dan hasn't because as soon as he moved out he found Phil and, well, not even Dan seems to remember when he proper moved in with him versus when he just crashed in his bed for a weekend. tour life gave Dan structure, and i think that overwhelming reset to his system probably helped with the lack of Phil, versus Phil had experienced living alone but didn't have the same routine that led him to handle the shift in company with the same grace. can't fault the guy.

that being said, while i don't think they were codependent exactly in this period of their life, i do think they were still crazy obsessed with each other because like they really cannot go two seconds without calling or texting or saying each other's names it's so funny. i don't really feel comfortable likening anything they have to toxic because i (like all folks here i think) am very very strongly for the idea that really none of it is, they just kind of happen to be a healthy relationship in which both party is convinced they are soulmates and nobody else has ever had a love like theirs. which... cheers, mate. for sure! can't believe Dan and Phil invented romance, should we throw a party, should we invite Joey Graceffa etc etc

anyway! those are my thoughts <3 this is a clusterfuck of a post SORRY i am very sleepy and also between packing 😭 so not as articulate as usual. but i tried!

god i love glass onion so much and everything about it. major spoilers ahead.

like let's talk about the characters. i love that they're all pieces of shit. interesting, well-written, clear pieces of shit. they are even called shitheads. and like. the "disruptors" are all clearly painted as self-serving rich bitches (haha get it?) who only care about money and their public image and are willing to stab (or shoot) people in the back for it, but even some of the side characters are morally gray.

whiskey, for example? no, she isn't as alt-right as duke nor isshe as misogynistic, but she still went along with it in his streams and helped duke. and the reason she was dating him in the first place was for her own money and public image. sure, not as bad as duke or the others, but she's not entirely pure.

even peg is still self-serving. she did agree with helen, and she tried to reel in birdie's ignorance, but even that was just her doing her job. she literally begged miles not to make birdie release the statement because she was worried about her own image. now, clearly she's not nearly as bad as any of the others, but how much of that is because she's morally superior and how much of it is because of her position? if she were a celebrity billionaire like the rest of them instead of an assistant, would she act the same?

the only characters that aren't focused on money and public image are the ones who aren't public figures. especially helen- benoit is world-famous, but helen is just a third-grade teacher who wants to avenge her twin sister. the lesson here is of course, power and fame corrupt. every character that gains fame and money are obsessed with keeping it, by any means necessary.

and to show this so thoroughly that it seeps into every detail of the movie, that i could spend hours writing about? goddamn that's a fantastic movie. it's a glass onion- you can see its core, but around it are a lot of layers that are harder to pick out. i could watch this movie fifteen times and still not get all the nuance, and that is what makes a good movie great in my opinion.

♪ of course, muu got voted innocent! there was no other way this trial could go, right? and of course, you got voted innocent as well! ehehe, good for you two~ now you two can have even more fun together! muu just keeps requesting more and more stuff for both of you. look at this bracelet she got for you! and you will let her brush your hair and paint your nails later, right? come on, just let her spoil you already! she just loves her girlfriend so much, she has to show it at least in some way!- oh, did she just call you her "girlfriend"?.. but she was pretty sure that you two are already dating.. well, you are dating now. congrats.

♪ muu keeps saying that she understands that everyone here had some kind of reason for their murder and she probably can't judge them, but also every time she sees a guilty prisoner next to you, you can notice that her face expression becomes a little bit more anxious and she quickly tries to come up with an excuse to make you leave. 

"y/n!~ come here, do you think this is tasty enough? no, no, i need your opinion!" 

you have no choice but to sit down next to her, but the moment you see her smiling because she finally got some attention from you, you honestly can't say you regret it.

♪ she just worries a lot, please try to be more understanding! like.. she's confident that she will be voted innocent again this time, surely es doesn't want to risk haruka's life, haha.. but she's not so sure about you. what if something happens to you? what if you get voted guilty? what if es doesn't forgive you? what will muu do then? she has finally found someone who she can trust and who is so, so precious to her, she can't just lose you like this!.. 

"um.. muu.. i'm sorry, but you being so confident that you're going to be forgiven and still not being sure about my own verdict is kinda.." 

uh.. again, she's just really worried about you! 

♪ even though the way muu has become attached to you is a little bit concerning, she really does care about you, even if her ways of showing it are kinda strange. yes, y/n, her feeding you a huge piece of cake before even trying it herself is her way of showing that she cares. she also shares her accessories with you and if you want, she would love to do your makeup too. she just wants you to feel like a queen as well, haha. oh, speaking of accessories, if you want the same hairclips haruka is wearing, she can tell him to give them back- oh, you don't want them? okay. you deserve something much more pretty anyway.

♪ when it's getting late, sometimes muu just refuses to go to sleep without you and begs es to let her share a cell with you at least when it's nighttime. es tries to act strict at first, but then muu just throws a tantrum and the poor guard doesn't have a choice after that. and right after they sigh and nod, muu immediately wipes her tears away and goes "yay~" and runs to have a sleepover with you. es starts to wonder if they have made the right decision. you two spend the first three hours talking about stuff, even though it's mostly muu doing the talking, but she's still grateful to you for listening to her. she really needed someone who can just.. pay attention to her, listen to her voice and understand what she's saying. 

♪ when muu starts to fall asleep (and she does so without any warnings, she can easily fall asleep in the middle of her sentence), she pulls you closer and you can feel her hugging you tighter and tighter. if you even try to resist, she will mumble something that sounds a lot like "don't go.." while still asleep (probably), so. yeah, you can't leave her now. you just sigh and wish her good night and don't even notice how you start falling asleep as well. you also don't notice how a small smile appears on her face.

My Interpretation of Trevor!!

My interpretation of Trevor is a weird amalgamation of the game, manga, and anime. And sometimes I have multiple interpretations of him depending. But the one that I have a design for is a solid mix of all. He likes photography and wants to complete the pokedex. Gets really excited seeing Pokémon even if its a Pokémon he's already seen before and yet is very shy when meeting new people. He's only really comfortable with his friends, his sister, and Sycamore (who is effectively his father figure). Very smart but kind of clumsy, he tends to get a little beat up because he focuses in on things and forgets his surroundings. He's not big on battling but he loves studying Pokémon and want's to be a professor when he's older just like Sycamore. He takes photos of pokemon and keeps them in a little scrapbook with help from Shauna. Also he thrifts all his clothes and can never find anything that fits him just right.

Canon Trevor HCs

I tend to have sadder head canons for him due to the lack of parents. I don't think he likes Celebrating his birthday because his parents are never there to celebrate it with him. He has a hard time making friends and is always silently worried his friends will leave him one day. He's scared of getting hurt and so he tends to shut himself off from others involuntarily because he's scared of being abandoned again, and most of the time he only meets new people through the others in his friend group. Sycamore is one of the few adults he trusts.

Because of the manga I like to think he has this sixth sense of snuffing out harmful or dangerous people based on their aura. Lysander makes this kid faint his vibes are so bad. But that's really just for fun rather than anything serious or concrete.

I think he's got a wet paper bag for a stomach and gets queasy very easily. Its possible his anxiety has something to contribute to his health. and he should probably be on some kind of medication to manage it.

I love love love how hes handled in the manga. He's not the coward he thinks he is. He's scared but he's willing to fight for what he believes in. He's willing to stand up for his friends even when he struggles to stand up for himself and its so nice watching him grow.

AUS!!

I have a few aus major with Trevor PLA and REVIVAL are my two major ones but there's also Paldea (a spin off following PLA) and Wondar (My fan region that features him minorly)

Despite both major ones having godly deer screwing him over in one way or another I characterized him differently

In PLA is emotionally dead. He's got no fucks left to give and handles Pokémon with his bare hands. He's exhausted and numb. I don't think I've talk a lot about him and his relationships in PLA but he practically adopted by Laventon, and ends up making good friends with Akari and Rei. When he does return home he finds himself missing them a lot. Also he never wants to see another shinx in his life hes got scars for days from shinx alone. Also theres a Yanmask with a mask of him implying he died before returning home. (Paradoxical nonsense but its meant to represent the part of him that lived in paldea and not the part of him that died if that makes any sense? its like the physical manifestation of the impact he had on the past).

In the Revival au (sometimes lovingly called Revival Rival cause its fun to say) he's physically dead. He's practically a walking corpse with a conscious. His heart barely beats, his skin is cold. A medical anomaly. Xerneas splinters a piece of its power off (so to speak) to bring him back because humans are far more complicated than foliage. Because of this he can understand Pokémon, Flowers grow in his wake, and can revive fainted Pokémon. It seems neat but to him it just further alienates him from his peers and is a responsibility he doesn't want to have to handle. Its overwhelming. He can't stray too far from Xerneas who's is practically his life support. I've jokingly compared it to a soul gem from Madoka where if he strays to far he slows down and then eventually loses consciousness/dies again. Theres a grace radius but he can't really explore places like Lumiose anymore because Xerneas can't/won't follow. Meaning he can't go home. He lingers around smaller towns and forest. When emotinally distressed he loses his ability to control these new powers.

You're too kind, thank you! It means a lot that you care about my oc's!! I'd be thrilled to talk about my oc lore! I'll do it below the cut, because this is going to run a little long, lol. Not as long as it was going to be (I spent 3 hours writing out an unbelievably in depth response but something wonked out and it all got deleted) but it will still be long.

Since I've posted a few different sets of oc's on this blog I'm not 100% sure which one's you're asking after, but I'll assume these guys based on context clues!

All these characters come from a webcomic that I've been slowly (very slowly) been chipping away at for the past three years. I am waiting to publish any pages until I have a significant chunk more of it done, so unfortunately it can't be read anywhere yet. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The setting is your typical kinda-but-not-really-medieval fantasy world. Magic is not yet well understood by the general population, but some adventurous few have managed to master it.

First I'll go through the characters one by one!

The angular woman in blue is Valen Turnbull, our first of two main characters. She was born and raised in the cliffside town Blackport. Ever since childhood she has been strong, brave, and dutiful. She even had a little bit of a rebellious streak, though she (mostly) grew out of it. She left home after a vicious attack from Sea Spirits sunk most of the town. She felt tremendous guilt that she couldn't do more to protect the town, despite the fact that she single-handedly kept the equivalent of a sentient hurricane at bay. The only one she told about leaving was her best friend, Darius. He wished she would stay, but in the end he understood. Everyone copes differently. There is a lot more to say about her, but frankly I cant find the heart after losing a whole paragraph to a computer glitch. X﹏X

The smiley woman in red is named Laine Feywell, and she is the second of the two main characters. As a young adult her best friend (who is unnamed but will be referred to as 'Green') left home so start his own adventuring guild, so naturally she joined him. As the Guild grew, eventually Valen joined and became fast friends with Laine. Unfortunately, the Guild was not fated to last. Out of greed Green began taking morally questionable jobs for the Guild to do, which Valen opposed. This ended in a battle, in which Laine took Valen's side and defeated the rest of the Guild. After that the Guild disbanded, and Laine and Valen continued to travel together.

I actually have an animatic about it! I'm no animator, and it's the only animatic I've ever managed to finish, but here's the link if you want to see it!

The last character I'll go over today is this scraggly and emotional man in green- Darius. Though he is only a side character in the comic, he champions my heart. I unfortunately have no good art pieces of him, only the panels from the comic he's featured in. I'll have to remedy that someday! Darius's backstory mimics Valens a good deal, since they grew up and went to school together in Blackport. Initially Darius was very shy and unsure of himself, but Valen's boldness proved infectious, and he eventually grew up to be a brave, yet scrawny man. On the day the Sea Spirits attacked Blackport, Darius tried to talk Valen into evacuating with the rest of the citizens for her own sake. Valen wouldn't have it, despite how scared she was. Darius relented, and after evacuating everyone else actually came back to help her. He chucked everything he could reach from a traveling merchants stand- which luckily happened to be selling magical curios. Eventually something he threw seemed to work, and the Spirits abated their attack.

Finally, here's various fun facts about the characters/story!

Laine and Valen eventually get married!!! They fall in love after the guild incident, and confess their feelings after another near death experience. As young adults, they're really unusually intense and kind of scary together. Thankfully they mellow out with age (somewhat lol)

The town of Blackport is actually named after the ex-general-turned-minor-god who founded it! The God is referred to as 'Lady Blackport' or 'The Lady.' She is said to still watch over and protect the town, though her temple was dragged to the bottom of the ocean by the Sea Spirits. People who believe in or follow this god are known to use exclamations such as "Oh Lady above!" or "Lady forgive me." or even "Lady Blessed."

Laine has been working to teach Valen magic over the years. While Laine mastered it a long ago, Valen has been slow to pick it up. However she is both stubborn and eager to learn, so she'll surely master it someday!

The final thing I'll mention is a little au I have of this gang. They're just a bunch of teenagers running an urban exploring youtube channel. Laine is the leader of the bunch, but prone to injury because of her over-eagerness. She also puts together the cutest outfits before delving into abandoned buildings! Valen is their cameraman and Laine's girlfriend, and though she isn't as injury prone as Laine, she's just as foolhardy and actively encourages Laine into dangerous situations. She's also on her school swim team! Darius is the relative straight-man of the group, but not by much. Rather than talking them out of exploring potentially dangerous abandoned buildings, he'll just research if they need to be concerned about asbestos or similar concerns. He is the heart-throb of the DnD club <3

Anyway, that's all I'll say I think! The post is already massive, but hey it's not everyday someone prompts me to talk about my oc's!! So thank you for that again I love you for that!!! as for your question, i think out of everyone, i'd choose kazuha. before you say anything, i'm trying to not be as biased as i can since like kazuha is my favourite character ever— but yeah, i think i can accept the terms of living with the kaedehara kazuha. he's such a nice guy and although he's a very very lightweight and behind all that charming looks he's a pretty scary guy himself (cue that scene where he threatened that treasure hoarder in the archon quest that he'd brand his forehead with hot iron) i think i could actually survive living with him. he'd do his set of chores, i'd do mine, everyone gets their happy ending. if i were to live with my other favs like kuni and alhaitham i think i would just die. kuni would be rude as fuck and alhaitham would just bully his way out from doing our shared chores. i cannot deal with them. Isn't he really...not actually confirmed to be legitimately religious, though...? It's kinda a plot point that what SEES reads in a newspaper is just outright not true and the first confirmed example of Takaya consciously lying about something (he knows SEES isn't at fault for the apathy syndrome, nor the murders and he does not actually considers himself to be Nyx's prophet, either. Plus Aki says that Takaya isn't being truthful and the general narrative framing of this game is a really obnoxious "main characters say so = it's objectively true").

Jin then claims that Strega literally only learned about Nyx after Ikutsuki's death, which implies that, up this point, they only vaguely recognized Tartarus as having some sort of role in bringing the end of the world (hence the "Tower of Demise"), at best (although, imo, they didn't know that either, since Takaya was clearly puzzled by what the twelve shadows even had to with it and seemed more concerned about the potential disappearance of the Dark Hour itself, rather than the tower). And, I mean, sure, he absolutely does genuinely recognize Nyx as a god, but also that's what she just objectively is (and Adachi felt similarly about Ameno-sagiri, if I remember correctly).

And where I agree that, outside of being a mercenary, his biggest sin within the narrative is literally just having a different life ideology than the main characters (which is actually more ableist of Atlus, than it is antagonistic of Takaya, for that matter, because unironically calling out who is functionally a palliative patient for passive suicidal ideation is just so absurd it's hilarious), but...isn't his actual religiousness literally just...fanon? Unless we are simply finding it interchangeable with fatalism (which he definitely is).

Unless-unless I am totally just missing some crucial piece of information, which is honestly kinda why I am even sending this in the first place, taking advantage of the guy's obvious understander saying something on the topic I've been curious about for some time. First, I do want to clarify, everything I say about Takaya I am referring to my canon divergent take on him that i've written for 3 years, he's had a few adjustments made to him to make him a more coherent character, that's also why I emphasized "potentially a good antagonist" in that rambly post and my wording of I love the "idea" of a religious person in persona-- that is to say I don't think they actually depicted that completely in the canon series

Though honestly! I swear to god, I couldn't really give you a provable quote off the top of my head, but I've seen the novel, the stage play, the in-character AMA replies, and I could have sworn... I saw Takaya imply real reverence for Nyx. Because I remember making a post freaking out about it? Besides... I just find it hard to believe he didn't intuitively understand his persona and ability to see the dark hour were something from a higher power when he consistently refers to them as "blessings" and as the lab children as "chosen ones". You could argue he's referring to the scientists that tested on them but that's very unlikely considering he talks very resentfully about how they used him in his final fight speech and he seems to disregard Ikutsuki a unimportant. Its like he's... referring to something else blessing them.

This is the thing with Takaya-- I cannot give you... a single, easy, quick refuting explanation. I can only point to what little canon characterization he has and hope it makes intuitive sense lmao.

So.... What I think is most likely here, even by the main game's logic, disregarding my own canon-divergences... is that Takaya does indeed have a religion of a kind, but much like how the game takes the time to explain that Strega calls the tower something else, " The Tower of Demise"... They just didn't know the name of the god that was going to kill them. But surely they knew a god was going to kill them, why else would they call the tower the tower of demise, how else would they deduce that the tower was leading to anything of the sort without some higher knowledge of what's going on? And then that leads you to wonder where they got that knowledge, etc, and that's where headcanon has to fill in the blanks because its very unclear.

( though I admit i might just be forgetting something- )

Now one thing I do think, in my experience of having to depict this guy, is that it would be near impossible to not depict Takaya as a religious zealot-- as in a person with intense ideological drive based in spiritual beliefs-- and still keep him acting and speaking as he's only ever shown to speak in canon. To me, its very much a... "all but said" situation? Yes, he is a dishonest and manipulative man but... that passionate sermon in his final fight was entirely him showing his real zealotry. Its so evident in his archetype of character, his design, his way of speaking, that it naturally lends itself to depicting a man that is very religious in his thought process. Not merely a fatalist, but someone who holds visible reverence and manic exuberance for that which can end the world. To the point where I think it is fair to assume that in the event of say, my future-verse where he lives to see other gods attempt to end or change the world, Takaya would choose to side with the gods basically every time-- not simply because he wants the world to die, but because he holds their power in higher regard than humanity's obsession with trivially living on, unchanged and unimpeded. Its hard to explain-- but to me Takaya has a personality that is so fundamentally anti-mundane humanity that it necessitates a reverence for the supernatural and the divine-- if only because he seems to find the grand and cataclysmic to be outright awe inspiring in a very religious way, if not ideologically necessary.

Something of which is evident in how he seems to find such beauty in the dark hour itself! Such as in the novel, where he not only marvels at the sight of it but he's described as seeming to be revitalized by the atmosphere, as if coming alive. There's no magical explanation for this-- its just his mental state. He has some sort of worship-like fascination with all this supernatural stuff.

There's even an element of faith in his behavior! Notice how Takaya, despite his passion and frustration with the main party, will take a deep breath... and say... very well. "fate" will decide who is right. Why would he say that without some kind of belief in a destiny, that something will guide the outcome in his favor? Notice how he puts on the illusion of calm only right up until its evident that fate isn't on his side, then he seems to claim an unfairness. He's not merely indifferent, he has faith that things will go in his favor, because it rightfully ought to.

And the idea that he doesn't believe himself to be a prophet-- I don't believe that for a second. Perhaps logically he knows that not to be literally true, its not like he hears Nyx's voice giving him advice, but there is very much something about his personality that feels he deserves that title to some extent, he almost certainly believes he is some sort of " truth bestower " as entirely evident by just how he presents himself and how he speaks. I mean.... " It appears even I am fallible " is a battle quote of his.

Though full disclosure.......... I appreciate you thinking I'm the expert on this guy, but I'm... just some nerd fascinated by him more than anything! And even if the above is me trying to describe a more objective look at canon Takaya... My headcanon take, the one I write, has been shifted by dozens of interactions and years of headcanons-- I wouldn't be surprised if I'm just misremembering details.

If the new game comes out and... it turns out his entire behavior and mannerism is just an act he does for fun purely because it tricks the weak minded, I mean valid and I'll take that L, but I have to admit I can't blame fanon for taking this as his personality if its consistently his behavior whenever he's on screen. ))

“Off.”

“Hm..?” The distracted ginger mumbled, eyes trained on the device in front of him and the soft click of his typing not stilling.

You sighed in frustration. Cater had promised to help out with studying in payment for eating the sweets he bought specifically for his Magicam photos. Even now in front of untouched books, sat an equally untouched piece of chocolate cake he had taken at least thirty different pictures of in the last hour.

“Off. The phone. Now.” Arms crossed, you stared pointedly at him, though his phone and bowed head hid the beautiful green eyes you oh so loved. Not sure if you’d ever tell him that though. You frowned at your thoughts.

He probably wouldn’t even take me seriously.

With the misfortune of falling in love with a man who took nothing seriously, came a lot of self-doubt and regret. Not of loving him, but of yourself and the inability to get any closer to him than you were now.

You tried a lot of things. Bringing in spicy and savory foods to him at lunch behind the excuse of testing out new recipes of which he just happened to cross your mind. He always gave a flirty thanks with the flash of a photo before waving goodbye. For a while, you had invited him along with the other Heartslabyul members to hang out until finally mustering up the courage to ask him out alone, as a friend, of course.

Honestly it was nice, at first. Casual talk and reminiscence of the crazy happenings at home and NRC, you thought you’d finally crossed that untouchable border. But now the distance feels wider than ever before, because it has dawned on you that despite being able to see him every day, everything you know about him (aside from disliking sweets) had already been posted or known by the followers on his account.

It felt like you knew him as well as you’d know the life of any other social media star influencer on Magicam.

But he was good wasn’t he? At hiding behind a screen. Even now, you could barely see his face and he was right. in. front. of. you.

“Cater!” You slammed your hand on the table of neglected textbooks.

“What- What is it?” He finally looked up at you with his pretty green irises, but your built up irritation kept you from flattering him.

He stared at you, absolutely clueless to the inner turmoil you were going through and you felt at important to him as the slice of chocolate cake and astrology books splayed out on the table.

“What in the Great Seven is so damn important that you can’t take your eyes off the phone for even ten minutes to help me study?!”

“Oh... sorry! Haha I guess I got too caught up checking out the current trends again~” He laughed airily which fueled your anger. “Awww why? Was my precious Prefect feeling lonely that I haven’t given you any attention? Don’t worry, Cay-Cay promises to-“

You cut him off. “Yes. In fact I was feeling thoroughly ignored and left out from whatever extremely interesting conversation you were having with that glowing block you call a phone.”

He blinked in surprise and observed your ticked off expression in realization.

Oh. He messed up. Badly.

“Ah....” Scratching the back of his neck, Cater gripped his phone tightly. “I didn’t mean..”

“Just- forget about it. I don’t care.” You were tired. Of everything. If you really didn’t mean anything to him compared to the device in his hand then what was the point in trying at all?

Over and over he’s proven himself to stick to what people say about him. Even as you wanted to and desperately had been trying to reach out to him and were willing to hear everything he could say, even if he didn’t want to tell you, you would’ve just been happy with him telling you he needed time. But he still hasn’t given an inch. Only ignoring all your attempts to reach out. Ignoring your concerns and soft touches of worry. Ignoring you.

Maybe it was time to accept it. It would never be you he’d be staring at. It would never be you he would prioritize. It would never be your hand holding his. It would always be that stupid phone.

“I’m sorry for getting angry. I understand how important maintaining your image is to you so I’ll just go.” You refused to look at him as you stood up and began collecting your books. “I ruined the mood for studying anyway so I’ll.. just ask Trey or Riddle to help me. You can keep.. doing whatever you were doing.”

“Wait-”

As you packed up your things, ignoring his hesitant actions and fumbling words- it suddenly became hard to breathe. Your face felt hot in embarrassment and shame for your outburst and all the times you tried to be better and all the efforts you feel were wasted on being vulnerable around him to try and get to know him more and be someone for Cater to rely on.

I guess you were just too far ahead of yourself. As tears pricked at the corner of your eyes, you reprimanded yourself and swore internally at the foolishness of your weak heart and strong feelings.

Cater, on the other hand, was losing his composure trying to find the right words to say. He obviously made you angry and while haters on the internet were easy to ignore, the wrath of a friend- though perhaps he wishes for you to be more- would be much more difficult to deal with. It would be awkward trying to face you the next day so he had to do something now.

Panicking at your leaving figure, he caught a glimpse of your hurt and teary expression- And froze completely.

Shit.

This is why he put up such a shallow front. Because if he let people in deeper into his life they would start to care. If they cared then they would ask more personal questions about him and his wellbeing. And it was significantly more easier to brush aside harsh criticisms and intimate questions over a screen than in person.

Because when he inevitably pushed people away, when he constantly played on his phone, they wouldn’t feel bad because ‘that’s just how he is.’ Never letting anyone get close enough to see past the light hearted words and silly smile.

He thought he was being so careful! He thought he was doing such a good job! So why, why did you look like that? Why did you seem so broken over something that he was known for? And why did his heart feel so pained at the sight of you?

He reached out to touch your arm, only for you to yank it away hastily.

“Please, don’t.” your voice barely a whisper.

That hurt him. For you to be the one to push him away.

You were always touching him, making him feel warm with your words and maybe he was getting used to it. Your kind attitude and your patience with the way he shrugged you off, but now he realizes that maybe, he’s been taking you and your kindness for granted.

A gentle hand on his arm sent jolts up his spine.

“Hey Cater, you okay..? You seemed a bit sullen back there-”

“Huh? Well if it isn’t the super popular Prefect!

“But Cay-...”

“Try not to touch me like that or else I might mistake it for more~ Unless~ that’s what you wanted me to think? LOL I’m just JK! Thanks for being worried though, you’re making me blush~”

“...Yeah..”

There’s something he had been refusing to admit to himself. Just how much he’s come to treasure you and just how incredibly precious your happiness has become to him. While he may have been doing a good job in pretending otherwise- to you, to others, and to himself- sometimes, when he didn’t realize it and when no one else was looking, he’d glance at the way you ate his sweet treats and he would smile a little wider at your selfies and honest laughter.

The growing hurt in his chest and confused annoyance with himself and with your tearstained cheeks, he blurted something probably more harsh than he intended.

“I don’t understand- Why are you so upset? You- you know I’m like this so is this.. am I really someone to cry over-?”

And where you for so long had wished to press your lips, where you wished you could be allowed to caress, laid a burning red mark as you slapped him across the face.

Cater was left speechless.

“You know, Cater? I’ve realized, you- you really aren’t someone I should have trusted with my heart.” You hated the way your voice cracked in wet, painful anger.

His cheek stung. “What..?” That almost sounded like- No. No that isn’t possible.. that would mean you- could it be..?

He was so stunned he barely registered your next, spiteful words.

“Figure it out yourself. Since you’re so good at reading people.”

Snapping out of his daze, he scrambled towards you, slamming the half opened door before you could reach it. “You can’t just leave me like this! Can’t you give me a chance to do better here!?”

You flinched at the sudden closeness in more ways you were willing to admit. “I’ve been giving you so many chances! I know you’re not stupid Cater! You should know what I’ve been trying to do! That I’ve been trying so hard to get close to you, to understand you!”

“You’re right. I do know.” His mind flashes to the way you brought him all types of food aside from sweets, and how you held out your hand as an invitation to hang out together. He remembers hoping for the hidden meanings behind your flustered face and ever growing smile when you noticed him. He also remembers all the ways he convinced himself otherwise. Suddenly, he truly felt like a stupid, desperate fool. “But I just- I can’t do anything right when it comes to you!”

“Oh so now you’re blaming me?”

“No! You’re completely misunderstanding what I’m trying to- ugh!” He yelled out in frustration.

Why the hell was he the one who was frustrated? You’ve been dealing with this since forever and suddenly you were being the difficult one? “Then what? What the hell are you trying to do aside from pushing me away! All you’ve been doing is lying to me! Not just me- it’s everyone! I don’t even know if you’ve ever been honest to any of us!”

Your whole body was shaking and all your shame had long been replaced with pain and rage. “I thought-” You choked on your tears. “I thought at this point.. I deserved some of your honesty.. Even if only a little bit. Anything- anything except those sugarcoated words of flattery that made my face flush and stomach flutter.. But I get it now- I’m just another person to eat the sweets you’re so sick of. Just- another follower to boost your image.”

“You’re wrong that’s not!-” He tore at his hair in agony as his heart kept breaking. “Like I said, I can’t do anything right when it comes to you because- because, I- because-!” Because what? Because his heart always beats a little louder when you were around? Because of the way your pretty voice made his head swim? Because your smile made him forget all his problems and he was always subconsciously afraid of ruining it like he did now? Because your touch makes him completely helpless and vulnerable in the most wonderfully terrifying ways? And how he wishes he could touch you back without the pretense of a selfie? Because.. Because he-

“What? Because what?” Maybe you were being unfair to him. Maybe you didn’t have the right to act this way. Maybe you were being selfish. But maybe he was too. “See I told you, you only care about that damn phone-”

“Because I love you dammit! If you’d just let me fucking talk then I’d-“ He stopped and clasped his hand over his mouth in horror. He loved you? Where the hell did that come from? That doesn’t even make any-

Oh shit- He cursed again. His eyes widened as more tears streamed down your face, your body wracking with sobs.

“Wait I’m sorry I didn’t mean to yell like that wait- I-”

“Did- did you mean it-?”

“..What?”

“That you...” You took a shaky breath. “..love me?”

“I-”

Now’s your chance Cater! Tell them you didn’t mean it- That it was just an accident- just do what you’ve always done. Lie. They’ve given you a chance to put your mask back on so...

He gazed at you once more. At your trembling figure, at your wet, red, eyes. And for the first time, there was a person he could not read. You, despite your vulnerable state, gave nothing away about what you wanted him to say.

He realizes this isn’t a situation he could weasel out of. Not anymore. So, he decides to do something he can’t remember when he last allowed himself to truly be.

He chose to be honest.

“I...” If you listened closely, then maybe you would’ve been able to hear the sound of a mask shattering and a wildly beating heart. “Yeah.. I guess, I do.”

Your hand made contact with his other cheek. This time he stumbled backwards and looked up at you incredulously with a hand on his face. “What the hell-”

“You’re so fucking stupid Cater Diamond.” You fell on your knees in front of him, hitting your fists against his chest in a mess of hiccups and tears. “But I guess I am too- hic, because I can’t- hic, help but love you anyway.”

After a moment of hesitation, he gently. Gently, dared to hold you against his chest, letting a familiar laugh escape his lips. But this time, there was nothing he needed to hide. “You just said I wasn’t stupid earlier, cmon now I’m getting mixed signals here! Haha~”

“You’re the last person I want to hear complaining about mixed signals.” You sniffled in response, landing one last hard smack against him.

“Ow- That was hit number thirty you know? And my face still hurts from what you did eariler- You really pack a punch dont’cha Prefect?”

Rolling your eyes at his sudden lighthearted banter after a particularly grueling and emotionally exhausting confrontation, you buried your face into his chest, letting your residual tears stain his pristine dorm uniform.

“You deserve it you know.”

“Mmm I guess I did~”

“Stop acting like you enjoyed it!”

His body shook with laughter. “Oh~ Of course I enjoyed it! It’s you who’s touching me after all! I never thought I’d get to feel such an intimate connection with y-”

Once again, you cut him off.

This time however, physically.

Cater Diamond hates sweets. He came to realize that at a young age. They make him sick to his stomach and remind him of his force feeding sisters and rotten cavities.

Cater Diamond loves you. He came to realize that a few minutes ago. Maybe longer than that. Definitely longer. You make his stomach flutter and remind him of a warm savory meal and spicy kicks of pleasure on his tongue.

He might become drunk on your taste and the feeling of your lips against his. It’s hot. It’s rich. It’s salty. It’s sweet. But somehow, it doesn’t make him feel sick. Perhaps he loves you more than he hates sweets.

That is the realization Cater Diamond has come to in the present, as his hands pull you in for better access, not unlike, yet completely different from all those times he dragged you into taking a picture with him.

“Enjoy that instead, stupid.” Breathlessly, you leaned back, tilting your head in surprise at the way his eyes glowed in the way you once dreamed it could.

His face scrunched into an expression that would definitely not be considered picturesque, showing you exactly how he felt about the loss of contact, like you had always wanted.

“I wish I had my phone to take a picture of that face you just made.”

“Nooo don’t expose me~” He pouted while tugging on your shirt, silently asking for another kiss.

“Hmmm? What is it Cater? What do you need? Be honest now~” A surge of confidence erupted in you while taking in his disheveled figure. His messy orange locks fell along his face with no tie to secure it, and a smudged red diamond melted into the pink marks left behind by your brutal attacks. While he did deserve it, it didn’t help you from feeling a bit guilty.

Whining, Cater pressed his forehead against yours, allowing a perfect close up of those gorgeous green eyes of his.

“I wanna kiss..~”

“I didn’t know honest Cater was so loud and whiny~!”

“You asked for this!” He whined louder.

“Mmm I did didn’t I...” Your eyes became lidded with months of longing as you finally let yourself cup his flushed cheeks. “For the record.. I like it when you yell.. and when you whine.. and when you speak in weird text language.. and when you cry and laugh and act stupid and when you read the room perfectly. I like everything about you. But I love my Cater most, when he is honest with me.”

He shuddered against you as he fell deeper in love with your words and your actions and you, and made a promise to himself, and to you, that he would love. Love wildly, openly, and honestly, from the bottom of his heart. Because you made the promise to love him for all the he was, is, and will be. As long as he was willing to show it all to you.

He chose to let his eyes that you gazed at so lovingly, paired with a soft and broken “thank you.” tell you the promise he kept locked within his heart.

Where you both met, once more in a place so deliciously soft, sweet, savory and sincere, you knew it marked the beginning of a lot more tears and a lot more change and a whole lot more love.

And honestly? You had always known,

He would be worth every second of it.

Hello I really love your writing. I’m glad that you decided to open requests for a bit. I have a personal headcanon that the boys are a lot nicer to MC then they are to everyone else. Could you do a headcanon of the boys being out with MC and they are talking with MC happily. Then a lesser demon sees them with MC and says that the seven brothers have gone weak and they aren’t scared of them anymore. Thank you again!!! 😖 (Also the way you write Levi is great)

Aww thank you!! Levi's kind of my favorite character (if that hasn't become painfully obvious) so I try to write him well, you know? This one was a little hard for me to write because I just have a hard time imagining Asmo and Beel as something intimidating to the masses, but I tried my best! I hope you like it!

Lesser Demons Think the Brothers have "Gone Soft…"

Lucifer

If anybody had something to lose by acting sweet on a lowly human, it was Lucifer. His entire image was built on the back of power and intimidation, so really who didn't see this coming?

He knew there were whispers… Mostly in the RAD hallways. Students would see him with the MC and gossip amongst themselves… 

"Did you see them together again in the courtyard?"

"How did some random human even score a pact with him??"

"And I used to seriously look up to him, too…"

He'd always silence their chitchat with a well placed glare, but this was a symptom of something more… troubling. A decay of his social image if you will.

Perhaps it speaks to how well and truly enamored he was with the MC that this proud creature didn't just dump them the second he started looking bad, but still… a part of him really couldn't stand for this...

So maybe it was a blessing in disguise when he finally got an excuse to establish his superiority yet again!

He and the MC were walking the halls of RAD after school hours and they had just made an amusing joke at the expense of of his brothers. Unfortunately, Lucifer collided into a lesser demon student while he was laughing…

On most occasions, he would have expected someone of such station to pay him deference then offer an apology - they had just ran into Lucifer after all - but the student just scoffed at him!

Lesser Demon: "Oi! Watch where you're going, Lucifer! Or were you too busy sucking up to that human to notice?"

This… was maybe not the best response to have (if the "Oh shit" look on the MC's face was any indication) but for as annoyed as Lucifer was, he was also somewhat delighted.

Finally, he had the perfect messenger for just how cruel he could still be!

Lucifer: "MC, feel free to go home without me for now and tell my brothers to save my dinner for later…" *starts pulling out his favorite rope with a cold, but pleased, smile on his face* "I have a feeling I'll be home late tonight..."

The MC left him and his unfortunate victim to their fate and Lucifer later came home in the night with his uniform in a bad need of cleaning...

A new body decorated the RAD entrance hall the next morning - swinging from the ceiling and making an awful mess on the floor - but still alive enough give a very important message to the rest of the students:

"Lucifer hasn't changed a bit…"

Mammon

So, not even lesser demons see Mammon as some kind of high-ranking badass… 

Just to be clear, he is, but it’s hard for him to come off that way when he's begging for his next Grimm... Then enter MC into the picture and he somehow lost even MORE cred.

"There goes poor Mammon… Did you hear he got tricked into a pact?"

"Just look at him nipping at the human's heels! How pathetic is that??"

"Well that's Mammon for you… What a shit excuse for a demon."

Like Lucifer, Mammon wasn’t immune to the whispers, but unlike his brother he was able to push them mostly out of his mind. People look down on him? Yeah, what else is new?

To be honest, he didn’t really feel the need to prove anything to a bunch of lesser demon losers… But insulting his MC takes things a step too far.

He and the MC were out at the Devil's Coast, "enjoying" some of the haunted house attractions and generally having a good time…ish. 

Any time they managed to make it out of one, the MC would have to peel Mammon off their back and hold him to assure him they were back to safety (a process he seemed to like enough to repeat the horror that precedes it).

It was during one of these calm down sessions that the two were accosted by a couple of snickering lesser demons, clearly looking for a fight…

Lesser Demon 1: "Hey look! There's the 'Great' Mammon and his little master!"

Lesser Demon 2: "Guess the master fits the demon… Of course someone like Mammon couldn't even score a pact with Solomon and gets stuck with the weakling!"

Lesser Demon 1: "Well how's the babysitting going, Mams? I bet you can't wait for them to kill over, can ya?"

Lesser Demon 2: "Careful! With his luck, they'll probably get eaten by the end of next week! Haha!!"

Now… an important thing to know about Mammon is that you can fling all the mud and stones you'd like at him… but never at his MC. That's just asking for a bruising...

Mammon: *smiling like usual, but his eyes are practically burning with rage...* "Yo, MC… I'm gettin' a little hungry. Can ya go find us a snack over there? I'll meet ya in a bit…"

MC: "Mammon, are you-?"

Mammon: "Don’t worry 'bout me, babe." *takes his glasses off and flashes a fanged grin* "This is'a piece of cake."

And indeed, it wasn't difficult at all. No matter how fast those demons ran, they could never out speed Mammon and he was looking to give more than a warning…

The MC didn't know what he did while they were waiting in line, but they heard the sounds of pleading go silent before Mammon turned back up with a nice bruise on his cheek. Oh, how they fretted and dotted on him…

Meanwhile, the haunted houses just earned themselves a couple new mannequins!… when rigor sets in anyway.

Leviathan 

Levi has a… mixed reputation in the Devildom to start with. People who only know him for his titles usually expect him to be some kind of sea-hardened badass. Those who meet him are… well let's say less than impressed.

This isn't anything new to Levi. It does take a blow to his confidence sometimes but even still most people aren't dumb enough to say something to his face… most people.

Unfortunately, "most people" have been getting bolder after seeing him with MC - because Demon Lord forbid Leviathan actually look happy for a change…

He and the MC were out and about for once. There was a raffle for exclusive merch at Anidaemon and he brought them along to boost his chances. They were grinning and chatting about anime but well…

The human couldn’t hear this, but he could - sensitive demon ears and all that. There were a couple guys who were tailing him… heckling him just loud enough that he was CERTAIN they knew he could hear them...

Lesser Demon 1: "Is that seriously Leviathan hanging out with a human? Isn’t he an Admiral??"

Lesser Demon 2: "Ha! The whole family's turned into simps, are you that surprised?"

Lesser Demon 1: "Wonder what the human's giving them that's got them all brainwashed…"

Lesser Demon 2: "Well... I've got an idea." 😏

If there were ever a reason for bile to fill his throat, it was now. He might be a shut-in, but those guys were the real creeps…

To be honest, Levi isn't one for public confrontation. Even with how gross and disrespectful those demons were being, he would have let it slide if they had just left it at that… but no…

He and the MC were browsing the ani-music racks in the store when those idiots popped up again. They hovered a while until they MC suddenly left his side to go find a store clerk.

When he saw the other demons move their direction, he naturally put himself between them and the would-be harassers. It was a little telling that despite his ticked off expression, the demons just laughed in his face!

Lesser Demon 2: "Hey look, the puppy's come out to protect its owner! How cute!"

Lesser Demon 1: "I can't believe you're that predictable, Levi… Do you really think we'd be scared of you?"

Well. That settled it.

When the MC came back, they found that Levi had moved from the music racks to the merch tables near the bathrooms. They didn't think anything of it… but...

One body was paralyzed by his venom and stuffed head first in a toilet while the other getting strangled by his tail just underneath the tablecloth… Meanwhile, Levi was cheerfully rambling about the raffle like nothing was happening at all.

Maybe they should have been a little more scared of the shut-in...

Satan

This may actually be a case where the rumors have a point… The MC has made Satan "soft."

Well, if "soft" means actually in control of himself, anyway. 

Satan would probably call their effect on him both a blessing and a curse. Though he loved finally having a handle on his inner rage, it flew in the face of a lot of his public image… and people were starting to notice….

"Do you think there's something off about Satan…?"

"I saw the human step on his toes earlier and he didn't even flinch…! The old Satan would have torn them apart!!"

"He's gotten way too nice all of sudden… Wrath shouldn't be nice."

Was it a little frustrating? Certainly. Especially for someone as image conscious as him. But for as calm as he was now, Satan wasn’t any less cruel and he'd be more than happy to remind others of that fact….

His chance came when he and the MC were together having just left the local art gallery. The two were exchanging a healthy dialogue about a curious sculpture they saw on display when a latte suddenly went soaring through the air and ended up all over Satan's sweater… The culprit was plain to see, being the only other demon on the road that night.

Whether the act was intentional or not, the correct course of action would have been to apologize immediately and beg for mercy forgiveness… but all the demon did was laugh in his face…

Maybe he thought that since Satan had mellowed out and his human was right beside him that he'd be lenient… Oh no. Not gonna happen.

Satan's fist slammed into the guy's mouth with the force of a jetliner and knocked him over two benches before his back bent over a lamppost… To say it was a KO move would be an understatement.

He probably could have done a whole lot worse to the guy while he was down, but you know… the MC being there and "self-control" and what not…

The demon survived (barely) and only had to spend a few months in the hospital, if anything he got off light.

Not a soul would gloss over Satan's temper again and really he preferred it that way.

Asmodeus 

Well, to be fair not a lot of people thought that Asmo was tough to start with… but that's also his intention.

"Scary" is the opposite of "cute" and he prefers to be "cute" at all times! 😊

Buuut that doesn’t mean this scorpion is without a stinger. He CAN be quite brutal when he wants to be, you just have to push him that far and trashing his looks is a good way to start.

Asmo was out with the MC getting his hair done for the week at his favorite salon. They weren't the only people there that day, obviously. There were other customers - one being a lesser demon classmate of theirs - though neither he nor the MC thought much of him at the time...

Well… It was supposed to be a prank. Probably something the guy intended to use for social media clout. While the staff was too busy to notice, he snuck by and replaced Asmo's preferred conditioner with pink hair dye…

Asmo. Was. Furious. And honestly, the dude could have gotten away with it if he hadn't been laughing and recording the whole thing!

When Asmo's ire naturally fell onto him, he hardly looked fazed!

Lesser Demon: "Ah, please! You won't do shit to me with the human still around! You don't want to look any uglier to them do ya?"

Asmo: *freezes, but still furiously eyeing every sharp instrument within arm’s reach* "MC? Darling?"

MC: "Got it..."

Perhaps the prankster should have kept his mouth shut, because suddenly the MC needed to take a looong bathroom break…

They didn't come back out until they heard the sounds of screeching and broken glass finally die down and then they stepped back into a warzone… Broken mirrors and items seemingly flung everywhere in a fit of rage! The guy (and his phone) now nowhere to be seen…

The salon comped Asmo for the botched hair job and touch up… and then billed Lucifer for the property damage (which he got an earful about later). On the bright side though, Asmo actually looks pretty great with pink hair! Silver-linings. 🙂

Beelzebub 

… The concept of Beel "going soft" is almost an oxymoron. He IS soft, but his personality was never what made him intimidating to start with.

Behind all his kindness, Beel packs more firepower than at least 4 for his siblings combined and most people remember that fact. Hell, the guy looks like he could lift a semi and he probably would if he ever tried. 

However, that doesn’t save him from being underestimated completely... Especially when an upstart or two thinks he's too nice to actually start a fight...

He and the MC were coming back from the grocery store with the usual armfuls of sacks when the MC accidentally walked into a lesser demon on the street. Since their arms were full, several items spilled out from the bags and onto the ground…

The MC was quick to apologize to the demon and try to get down to clean the mess, but the asshole just kept walking… and Beel really didn't like that.

Beel: "Hey! Aren't you going to say, 'Sorry?'"

The lesser demon hardly looked over his shoulder to respond.

Lesser Demon: "Why should I? That's your human. Take care of them yourself."

Well it didn't take long for some of Beel's bags to hit the floor so he could lift the demon up by the back of the neck properly. When he turned the guy to face him, he made sure to bring his face reeaal close so he could hear him growl...

Beel: "Apologize. Or I'll eat you."

And like that, the asshole's mood went from "Do it yourself," to "Yessir Mr. Beelzebub, sir!" right quick!

The MC didn't have to carry a single bag another step and Beel got to keep his free hand so he could link it with theirs!... all while Beel kept mushing their new pack-mule forward like a sled dog back to the House. Thanks, Beel! 😊

Belphegor 

Kind of similar to Asmo, Belphie prefers to come off as unassuming on most days. But don't let his, "I'm a harmless sleepy boy" shtick fool you. He will cut a bitch if he's so motivated...

Thankfully for the world, he's generally not motivated. But that can be changed under the right circumstances...

Belphie and the MC were on yet another date to the botanical gardens. It's a peaceful place, though the MC can never go alone because of the frankly concerning amount of flesh-eating plants… Pretty, but also deadly, you know?

The two of them were walking to another rest spot when Belphie heard whispering from a demon behind them, seemingly on his phone…

Lesser Demon: “Yeah, I can see them right now…”

Lesser Demon: “I know right? It's so lame that these guys are in charge of us… They can't even say no to a dumb human!”

Lesser Demon: “What do you mean keep my voice down? Dude, it's fine! This is Belphegor we're talking about, the hell is he going to do if he hears me?”

… Huh.

The answer to the man's question was a simple one. Flash into his demon form for just a moment and whip out his tail... It only took a quick swipe to make him trip and fall right into the foliage. The man-eating… carnivorous… hungry… foliage….

Belphie was back to normal by the time the jerk let out his first scream and the MC almost stopped to see what had happened.

MC: "What the-oh my God!! Should we help-??”

Belphie: *puts his hands on their shoulders to keep them moving, not even glancing back* “Someone else will take care of it. Let's see the roses.”

Even when the desperate cries for help became distant, it took all Belphie had to stifle a smile…

Sometimes, you've got to love irony. 🤷‍♀️😏

So, how many official/unofficial ships does Ruki have on your blog? Just curious if you keep track of it...

I hope you don't take it as rude but I apologize in advance if it seems so.

🧩 Oh boy, there are many ships, both official and unofficial—Ruki’s more of a “you’re my lover now” kind of person rather than confessing normally 💀—but I’ll try to list them in no particular order without leaving anyone out. I apologize if I left anyone out as there are many relationships on this blog. (Edit: WOW there are far more than I expected, haha.)

Apologies for all the tags beforehand.

1. First off, we have Rukina (Ruki x Irina Avenel, @iricathel). These two have been interacting since pretty much the very beginning of my blog, honestly. And for those of you who saw their most recent thread, they’re actually going to get married!! I’m so happy for them!! She is the heir apparent of the Owl clan, a race Lina created and honestly outside of the ship her world is so vast and full of creativity, I highly recommend you check her out. At first glance, Irina looks like a queen who might be difficult to approach due to her occupation, sophisticated aura, and somewhat dominant personality, but Rukina has such a special place in my heart because after getting to know her, she’s actually such a relatable character. She’s dorky, kind in her own way, and very sweet when she wants to be. I adore this ship very much and they’re definitely official.

2. Then we have Rukas (Ruki x Lukas von Alischer, @princesscrownprince). If you love slow burn and gay awakenings, this is the ship for you. Heir apparent of the Vibora clan, Lukas approached Ruki one day on a whim insisting that they be friends since he looked lonely as always, but very quickly the Vampire found himself intrigued with learning more about the Crown Prince and his culture as a viper. This ship never fails to excite me if I’m being candid with you—most likely because it’s the most natural developing one on my blog yet. Probably because Estelle originally intended for Lukas to have a different love interest, but now we’ve both realized Ruki and Lukas just complement each other so well. I could talk for hours about these two because if you see our threads, they’re detailed and full of plot twists at every turn.

One of my proudest moments on this blog is when I made Ruki propose a twisted agreement just to get the Vibora off his back: if Lukas could complete a blank jigsaw puzzle all on his own, then Ruki would agree to be his friend. If not, then he wanted Lukas to give up on their friendship. Lukas, despite not even knowing what a puzzle was, used his Vibora seismic sense to place all the pieces together. But no, that’s not the end of it. This sneaky Ruki hid the last piece in his pocket for good measure. And guess what? Lukas still found it anyway!! He just snaked his hand in Ruki’s pocket without permission and completed the puzzle!! I’ll still never get over that, hahahahaha!! Goodness, their threads make me smile so much. It’s unofficial and moving at a slow burn pace but we’re gonna ignore the fact I’ve written like 40k words of Rukas smut with the admin LMAOOOOOO.

3. Next, we have Rukilett (Ruki x Scarlett Wakahisa @kindan-no-kanojo). Let me tell you that if Rukas is slow burn, then Rukilett just… They just burn, period. It’s tagged TW: Rukilett for a reason. Based on deception and torture, these two have honestly rarely had their sweet moments. Oftentimes Ruki finds one reason or another to punish Scarlett, who is a Ghoul, for things that are hardly her fault. It’s his sadistic nature, I guess, but I also mostly blame my lack of proper RP experience as Scarlett has been around since September 2021 (the month I began my blog). Nevertheless, I still root for this ship, though it’s clear she will only accept Ruki in her life once she exacts her revenge on him for everything he has put her through.

4. There’s also a budding ship as of late, Rukaria (Ruki x Caria Baris @cursed—requiem). Lin is a great friend of mine and there have been ships on this blog before Caria (Nokia – Ruki x Nova Blair), but she has decided to pursue Caria’s story since it’s one she has had in her head for a long time now and feels much better writing about this world compared to the previous, and I’m here to support that. However, Caria is the opposite from the sweet and somewhat timid Nova. Much like Ruki, she is a bit of a stoic academic who keeps to herself and is often critical of others. However, I believe it’s because they’re so similar in personality that Ruki and Caria will eventually find love with one another and develop into an official couple someday.

5. We don’t interact too often since my friend is still learning how to RP, but Ruki x Angelica (@dialovers-angelica) is also a budding ship. Angelica is hardworking, nice, and a bit too trusting as fate finds her with the same Vampire who took advantage of her kindness and bit her at school at least twice by now. Much love to the admin though, we mostly goof around in our own personal chats but I hope to write more with her one day. She’s an amazing friend.

6. Another budding relationship on this blog is Viruki (Ruki x Virek Sutcliffe, @crimson-mayhem). Much like Rukaria, these two characters share a lot in common, from their introverted personalities to their mutual interests in reading and soon enough puzzles once I get Ruki to show him the wonders of jigsaws AHAHAHA. Virek is a human with an awful past as an ex-experiment subject who doesn’t speak much at all and when he does, he will most likely retort with a topic unrelated to the original one, which often drives Ruki mad. It’s his personal goal to get him to speak more often since he recognizes fellow intellectuals when he sees one and finds comfort in his chill aura, as opposed to those with a more boisterous and outgoing personality like his brothers, so to him Virek is a nice change of pace in this AU.

7. Not exactly romantic just yet, but Ruki x Nunnally Sakamaki (@lured-into-wonderland) is starting to head towards that direction. This is one of those relationships where Ruki was brutal from the get-go. After taking offense to Nunnally’s request for culinary help, he bit her on the wrist at school. However, since she is technically a Sakamaki, Karlheinz apparently ordered her to stay at the Mukami manor for a certain time period despite her initial dislike towards the Vampire. Over time, as they spent their fair share of cute and merciless moments together, it seems she is starting to develop a bit of a crush on him. And vice versa as well. Recently Ruki asked that she stays with him in the manor even after the allotted time is up, and Nunnally has secretly wondered what it would be like to finally kiss him, which I can’t wait to write soon hopefully.

8. Speaking of ships that didn’t exactly get along on the right foot, we have Rustic (Ruki x Mystic Tsukinami, @mino-diabolik). Although Ruki feigned a bit of kindness at first, despite the latter accidentally breaking a window of his manor from fending off a beast, he took an opportunity in the greenhouse to convince Mystic into rinsing off himself only to steal a few bites against his volition. He’s a bounty hunter and a half-Founder, but even so, Ruki really said “this man is fine, I wonder what his blood tastes like” and took  a chomp out of him, AHAHAHA. However, their threads after the first encounter so far have either taken an equally, if not more violent turn, or a surprisingly wholesome turn (see the McDonald’s thread that I still need to reply to). These two have a perfect balance of sadistic moments and more light-hearted moments which I absolutely adore. They act very intimately but probably in Ruki’s head, he considers Mystic something like a boyfriend despite never confessing, ngl. You didn’t hear that from me though.

9. Then we have a dear bestie of mine, @ana-darkcloud. Now, there are many ships here to list as they have a TON of amazing S/O OC’s. There’s the Witch S/O, Dream-eating Demon S/O, Vocaloid S/O, Magical Girl S/O, and a few I still need to reply to. And let’s not forget Ellen Wright (the painter), Azazel (the fallen angel), and Ellis Ravenswood who I still need to develop the plot further to take to any kind of “relationship” as they have just met. So far the most developed ships of these are Ellen, Azazel, Magical Girl, Witch, and Vocaloid, but I adore all of them very much regardless of how much I’ve written for one or the other. There was a recent plot twist with Ellen recently and I can’t wait to explore the yandere aspect of it soon. From here on I’m honestly just excited to see what other remarkable ideas my bestie has in store.

10. There’s also a more recent relationship in Rurena (Ruki x Serena Leblanc, @serenaleblanc). She is a human who is like the queen bee at Ryotei Academy but also has a side fashion business. The interesting dynamic I find with their relationship is that, despite her outward personality, she has a bubbly and sweet side which is fun for Ruki to interact with for sure. It’s also a bit sad because she has an eating disorder but since Ruki is like a master chef, I can see he might tend to her needs very well and perhaps even help her move on from the disorder altogether. They’ve had their share of sadistic and sweet moments and they’re an official couple.

11. Another recent development is Ruki x Josephine Ako, @thatonefrenchwitch. While neither of them have straight up said “I love you” much like a lot of the ships on this blog, they seem to lean more towards official than unofficial. So far it’s been fluffy interactions all around but soon I can sense that angst is right around the corner, ahaha. I love writing a good balance of both, though!! She is a very sweet witch and I think the concept of Vampire x Witch is very interesting.

12. A bit unofficial, but we also have Ruron (Ruki x Kuron @mukami-kuron-mrsadisticcat). Kuron’s locked relationship is with Kou, but I’m more than willing to explore the possibilities of Ruki x Kuron as well, ahaha. They make for a savage couple, honestly. Both possess a silver tongue and can joke around without the other taking too much offense (well, until it gets serious, that is—then all the sadism comes out and hell breaks loose 💀) but overall they’re great together from what I’ve written with Kuron so far.

13. Ruki x Estella (@yourlocaltea) is another dynamic I’m so excited to explore, and while they’re not an official couple by any means, I adore these two together. Sorry, but I’m biased: the master x maid relationship hits too close to home, HAHAHA. No but seriously, she’s very sweet, kind, cute, and honestly probably too good for him LMAO. He has treated her very, very poorly so far, biting her from the first meeting as well as a few other interactions that turned violent, but lately there was a cute snuggle scene and hair dye shenanigans that unfolded which I really adore. Ruki x Kira is also on the table too.

14. Another interesting pairing is Ruki x Shoma Komori (@komori--shoma). They’re more on the chaotic side, especially with her crazy relatives, but aside from the mockery and exchanged insults, they have their cute moments too. I’m excited to write more and explore their dynamic further!!

15. A platonic ship on this blog is Ruki x Cyra Abbas (@mariicake, @cyra-abbas) and I love these two, honestly. She shares many interests with Ruki and they even have a shared favorite author which immediately impressed the Vampire. They don’t fully trust each other yet per se, but I think they’re sweet.

16. Ruki x Maria (@veiledsagacity) is more of an AU type of ship but right now they’re mostly friends. Maria is also a Vampire but she hates her own kind, refusing to suck blood from humans she deems as innocent, which is the exact opposite of Ruki. Even so, they share similar interests in literature as well.

17. Ruki x Metsu (@metsu-san), another chaotic pair who haven’t had many romantic moments at all but lately he’s starting to slowly warm up to the shapeshifter.

18. Ruki x Yuuko Sakamaki (@dialoveryuukos), a daughter of Karlheinz who was forced to be with him in an arranged marriage but eventually the two end up falling in love.

19. Ruki x Ayame Sakamaki (@sakamakiayame), a daughter of Karlheinz and Beatrix who has taken a liking to the Vampire for his charming personality, and Ruki who adores Ayame for her surprising compliance with his voracious bloodsucking.

20. Ruki x Yuu and Ruki x Fiona (@misslittlefounder), two OCs who have both had some interesting interactions with Ruki that more often than not turn out to be sadistic.

21. Last but not least we have Rukijas, the worst self-indulgent ship on the face of Tumblr, Ruki x Admin.

Other than romantic ships, I’d love to mention the friendships and other relationships as well. Ruki and Saeclus (@the-timeless-founder) have the potential to be genuine friends without much of a transactional nature to it which is mind-blowing to me, then we have the sweet and adorable Kauze (@kauzebridgerton) who is like a son to Ruki, and Sunny Ogawa (@sunny-flower-spot) who lives with the Mukamis and has had her fair share of both cute and funny moments with the eldest.

There’s also Megan Star (@mchallwrites), a human turned immortal of Hell through what started as a crack vore thread, Rei Sakamaki (@reisakamaki), a female version of Reiji who challenges Ruki at games like chess for the fun of it and is out to ruin her father’s plan, and one of his teachers, Hana Gormley (@hanagormley).

Aaaand, I think (?) that’s all of them as of right now… but I’m proud of each and every one of these developments. Thank you all so much for introducing your amazing OCs to me, everyone. Each thread brings me much joy and I can only hope to improve my writing and portrayal from here forward! Much love to you all!! 💖✨💖✨ 🧩

MC turns into MSheep!

Inspired by the lil anime announcement we got because I love MC still being represented by a lil sheepie~!

As usual, this is gender-neutral reader!MC

It was a total accident. You were just working on your potion project with Solomon. He was helping you with the math of it, mostly, since it was pretty complicated. You had no idea where things went wrong. There was a puff of pink smoke when you added the last ingredient and suddenly Solomon was a giant! Well, actually you were turned into a small pink sheep...

Lucifer:

He didn’t know what to say when Solomon brought you home.

You were a sheep. A tiny sheep. And very pink.

His beloved was a sheep.

Lucifer.exe has stopped responding.

Honestly, give this old man a few moments to take in the shock and let things settle.

Then he’s going to threaten Solomon because who else would have turned you into a fucking sheep?

A tiny voice sounded from the sheep. It sounded like you, only smaller.

“It was my fault. I think. Solomon didn’t even touch my potion ingredients.”

Well, that doesn’t change anything. Solomon had best change you back or else.

And those words shot pure ice through your veins. You knew when your Lucifer got pissed off, his threats were not to be taken lightly.

For the time being, however, you had to live as a sheep.

Lucifer didn’t hesitate to just carry you everywhere. What if you got lost? Or Beel tried to eat you? Or Belphie thought you were a pillow? Or Mammon tried to sell you?

There were too many variables and this old demon just wanted some peace of mind.

So you went literally everywhere with him. You two still talked as normal. You even slept in his room still. 

You promised yourself to help him relax once you were human again. You knew your situation caused a lot of unneeded stress on the poor man.

It took three whole days before Solomon was able to change you back.

But when you were human again you didn’t expect Lucifer to hug you so tightly or give you such a firm kiss. He had missed his human being, well, a human far more than he cared to admit.

But you better make good on helping him relax. I think there’s some grey in his hair now.

Mammon:

Haha, good joke, Solomon! Now, where was his human? Really, where were they hiding?

He was so sure it was a prank and you were taking pictures from the bushes or something.

When you voice sounded from the small sheep Mammon nearly fainted.

What the fuck did Solomon do to his human?! The Great Mammon’s human was a sheep!

You explained your situation and Mammon only grew more jittery.

He was grinding his teeth. He didn’t hesitate, though, to snatch you away from Solomon and hold you like you were the most sacred thing in the whole of Devildom.

“Ya better turn them back! I can make money at the casinos so name the price!”

Oh he was serious. Mammon was willing to pay good Grimm just to turn you back.

And Solomon, after cruel teasing with pricing your return to human at over a million Grimm, said he would do it for free. After all, there was no telling if this would wear off or if it needed to be reversed.

So he would do it. It was a good chance to study your potion recipe and figure out how you fucked up.

Mammon, like his older brother, took you literally everywhere with him. But by everywhere I do mean everywhere. Lucifer at least had the decency to leave you out when he went to the bathroom. Mammon did not.

He was also making sure to keep you away from Asmo, who had fallen for your pink and fluffy form on sight. 

Mammon talked to you like you were still human. He treated like his human.

But he also acted like you would break at any second. He had never been so careful in his life.

He honestly cried on the third day, worried you might be stuck as a sheep. He didn’t know what to do.

Of course, you were turned back by that evening. Solomon had dropped by to check in and the potion naturally wore off.

Mammon hugged you so tight you felt like you were being suffocated.

But he was back to normal the second Solomon joked that he wanted to get paid for his efforts.

Levi:

Once Solomon was able to get into his bedroom, Levi just about fainted at the sight of you.

He wasn’t even skeptical about this.

It was just like the anime “Help I’ve Accidentally Been Turned Into a Sheep and Now I’m Stuck!”. Literally, just like the anime! 

You needn’t worry about anyone trying anything with you while Solomon worked to turn you back, it wasn’t like you would be leaving Levi’s room very much.

You were in his lap almost 24/7 save for when you needed food or to go to the bathroom. Or he needed to do the same. 

His room was a fortress so you were pretty much safe. 

You couldn’t remember the last time you got to spend quite that much time with your otaku. He could be difficult at times, especially when he was playing a game.

You actually relished the time spent as a sheep because of it.

Levi was not-so-secretly getting more and more anxious though. 

He saw the anime! He made you watch it with him in one sitting, too! What if this turned out just like the anime and you never turned back into a human?

The main character in the anime was a sheep for an entire YEAR!

If he had a soul it would have left his body at the very thought.

By the end of the third day you could tell he was totally falling apart.

His partner was a sheep. Probably forever.

With a poof of pink smoke you were human again.

And Levi unconscious because, for some reason, you turned human and had no clothes on.

You just put on some of his clothes for the time being and called Solomon.

You caught a glimpse in the mirror as you were on the phone and told him to keep working on that reversal potion.

You still had sheep fluff for hair, horns, and sheep ears...

Satan:

If looks could kill then Solomon would have been dead where he stood.

The sin of wrath was so pissed off that there was an evil, menacing aura radiating from him.

And it was directed solely at Solomon.

“I don’t even want you working on a way to turn them back. You might be a great sorcerer but I’m going to do this myself.”

He snatched you away and slammed the door in the sorcerer’s face.

No one tried to bother him as he stormed back to his room. 

“I promise I’m going to turn you back, MC.”

He poured over his books and had you give him the potion you had been making. You had to tell every single detail you could remember of what happened leading up to your transformation.

But he didn’t only focus on turning you back.

He couldn’t neglect you being in the room with him. You still brought out the calm within him and made him feel at ease.

When you insisted he take breaks, he would make some tea and give you a straw so you didn’t get tea in your wool.

Like he usually did, he read to you when you wanted to go to sleep. It was even more relaxing holding a warm ball of fluff.

But he barely slept.

He had to figure out a way to turn his favorite person back to normal.

You were still you, no doubt about that, but he missed you being a person. Someone he could kiss and hold hands with. Someone he didn’t have to worry about accidentally crushing or losing because you were so small.

He finally figured it out. He studied your potion recipe for hours on end until he figured out what went wrong. You had been given a recipe that had been “mislabeled”.

Knowing that made it a cinch to turn you back within the hour.

Now to murder the dodgy sorcerer who gave you the recipe for class to begin with.

Asmo:

“Whaaaaaat? MC? A sheep? Oh, darling, you are so cute! And so soft!!”

He canonically loves cute things (did you read the Devilgram story about him taking care of bunnies?) so he was having the time of his life.

And then it hit him as soon as Solomon laughed.

He couldn’t go out on dates with you. He couldn’t kiss you. Or see your stunning face. Your voice wasn’t the same. 

Solomon promised to do what he could to fix this, but it could take a few days.

Did he spend the next hour crying and hugging your fluffy body? Yes, yes he did.

You got him calmed down, reassuring him that it was temporary and there were some perks. He would totally get lots of attention on Devilgram if he posted your pictures! You were pink, his favorite color! You had lots of soft wool he could brush and he could paint your tiny sheep hooves!

That perked him right up.

He spent the next several hours styling your wool, somehow managing to put braids in it. He gave you cute decorative pieces to wear in your wool, painted your hooves to match his nails, and even gave you a little bowtie!

And boy did his Devilgram blow up with attention at the sight of your pictures.

You even inspired his newest clothing designs! Clothing for pets! Devildom didn’t have a cute variety of pet clothes, and while you weren’t a pet, you were very inspiring to look at.

Even pets deserved to look beautiful!

You were so soft to snuggle with but nighttime really made him miss you. Even in an innocent way, he missed skin-to-skin cuddling. It was always so reassuring.

But he didn’t have that.

He managed to get through the days that went by before Solomon finally turned you back.

And he was beginning to wonder if Solomon had drawn out your time as a sheep on purpose.

That didn’t matter, though. Not when he had to take you out on a date!

Beel:

Solomon was holding something soft and fluffy. Was it food? Cotton candy? It looked really sweet and tasty.

“Beel, no, it’s me!”

“MC...?”

He wasn’t happy once the situation was explained. But he didn’t show it. To be fair, he wasn’t the most outwardly expressive of his emotions unless it was necessary.

With Solomon’s promise to return you to normal, he just carried you back to the kitchen with him.

But he wasn’t hungry anymore. Not when his dear human was in a new and unusual form.

It caused him to go into a bit of a crisis, though.

What did sheep eat? What could YOU eat? You were a human in a sheep’s body after all. Did you have to eat what sheep ate or could you still eat your favorite things?

He sat there, staring at the cupboards and fridge, with the most worried look on his face.

To be fair, you weren’t sure either.

And you two stayed liked that until Satan said you could still eat whatever you liked, though it would be best to avoid meat unless it was basically shredded. 

Then came Beel’s next huge crisis: he was terrified of crushing you!

You were so tiny and delicate now, even more fragile than when you were a human.

It took a little convincing but Beel took to carrying you literally everywhere you wanted to go. He loved how soft you were.

Though you didn’t like how often he drooled on you because your fluff looked too tasty. You promised to get him cotton candy once you were a human again, which kind of helped the situation.

Beel even made sure to make everything you ate easy on you! He didn’t want anything to be hurtful to your little sheep body or hard for you to eat!

He didn’t hesitate to help you drink the reversal potion once Solomon got it made, holding his breath until he saw you in your proper state again.

He could breathe easy again. 

Belphie:

What was Solomon carrying? A new pillow or something?

It looked so soft and like it would be a perfect napping pillow.

He wasn’t even listening to anything Solomon had to say, the explanation going in one ear and out the other.

He was focused on going inside to use the new pillow.

Until he heard you talking to him after Solomon had given up on explaining anything.

Now he was mildly concerned. You weren’t you anymore. You were a sheep. He actually listened as you told him your story, unlike with Solomon, and he merely shrugged.

“Well, what can you do? You’ll be normal again eventually.”

You knew your grumpy demon, though. He was worried about you. But Belphie was never good at showing his worry for others unless it was drastic.

True to form, he passed out once he laid down again. You were held against him as if you might disappear while he slept.

It was all the more proof he was worried about your situation.

He still slept most of the time, he was like a cat in that he slept for hours without moving. You had to wiggle free to do anything. No one wanted to wake up to a sheep smelling like piss and you didn’t want a bath.

Belphie whined that taking care of you as a sheep was too much work, but the moment anyone tried to take you from him he immediately got defensive. He even threatened to break Mammon’s hands.

The only one he trusted with you was Beel.

Always sleeping holding your little sheep self did make him realize he wanted a stuffed animal version of you just like that.

It was so nice to snuggle with.

But he missed the normal you. He wanted to have you to lay on or go “star” gazing with. He wanted to do things with you again that weren’t quite possible with you as a sheep.

So he may have gone to find Solomon and threaten him if he didn’t turn you back quicker.

It was all for naught, as he came home to find you curled up in his bed in your human form once again.

He’d wake you up later. For now, he wanted to take another nap with you.
