God is Telling Me to Fall in Love (Manga)
Created: HANAMATSU Ayaka
Genre: Shoujo/Romance
This one has been sitting on the bottom of my drafts for like years, but I finally got around to finishing the manga and boy is it good. There is only one yandere character in this one and he only really appears on the so called bad endings. The entire manga is a really interesting way of depicting love in many forms and seeing how it can affect people as well as the main characters slow reaction to it.
This manga is mostly focused on trying to get all of the love targets, so I'll give a basic premise and go more into the yandere character's route and story, since she attempts to finish his route first, gets a bad ending and eventually pushes him to the last route she does.
The story starts out with Chiyoko waking up on the first day of school realizing she’s lived this day before. She notices that some of her male classmates have some sort of love meter on them much like in various otome games. She keeps on waking up again and again to relive the same day after hitting a bad ending. Initially she plays this off as mostly a game attempting to get her targets hearts up as much as possible. Though after one of the targets, Kyouya calls her a kind and thoughtful person, she starts to feel regret for playing with everyone’s emotions. She ends up committing to Kyouya route until she finally reaches the good ending only to wake up the next day. However, this time, she realizes that the heart options are no longer accessible to her and even worse yet, he remembers none of the moments that they shared in the previous loop, causing her to feel extreme sadness. She tries again and again to ask Kyouya out but it always forces her to loop back again. She realizes that the only way to get out of the loop is to complete everyone’s love event and tries to go after Hotaru, the class president and more importantly, the persons whose heart affection goes up the easiest. She ends up rushing to raise his affection, but in the end, he ends up becoming extremely possessive causing a bad ending and forcing Chiyoko to loop once more. After a while of being defeated, she instead decides to go after another love interest instead.
After capturing about two other love interests hearts, she eventually reveals to Kyouya that she’s in a time loop with capture targets and he offers to help her as much as possible. After she is successfully able to capture another guys heart, we find out that Kyouya has also entered the time loop and now remembers the conversation that Chiyoko has with her, and the two work together in capturing the rest of the targets.
Eventually they hit all of the targets except for Hotaru, who Chiyoko decides to do last (for obvious reasons) though this time she has Kyouya here to help her. Despite what she tries, she still gets a bad ending, though she realizes this time that Hotaru seems to have experienced some sort of abandonment due to something he said in the bad ending. She tries again with Kyouyas help and eventually finds out that Hotaru is having a part time job and realizes that the second bar that he has, dependability, rarely ever goes up as compared to the other targets, meaning that Hotaru doesn’t trust her. She realizes after listening to some girls talk that he keeps the facade of a perfect person and is very independent as well, with Kyouya researching and suggesting that Hotaru might be extremely lonely, thus his obsessive behavior in his bad endings. She ends up following him and sees him cutting himself in an alleyway and freaks out. Though she contemplates about being nice and try to keep a secret like he asks, she decides to push the matter and suggests telling his teachers, thus leading Hotaru into blackmailing her by stating that he’d spread rumors about him. Although Hotaru is much ruder than his fake self, Chiyoko finds this refreshing as he feels more honest. From this point on, he is much more rude towards Chiyoko but much more honest and Chiyoko slowly raises his love and dependency. Unfortunately, a teacher catches him with the information that he has a part time job and seems completely distressed when finding out his parents will learn about it. She ends up going to his place to talk about it, but instead, hears his mother yelling at him for embarrassing him by having such low grades. This causes Chiyoko from the opposite side of the door to yell at Hotarus parents and even tells him he can just leave them, dragging him outside. Although Hotoru appreciates her efforts, he recognizes that he cannot take care of himself at this moment and has to continue living with his parents. He reveals that both of his parents are very accomplished people and forced this high bar of accomplishment onto Hotaru, while also barely being at home and scolding him when he does something wrong, though it helps him realize that he can live freely on his own if he chooses. This ends the last route and we find out one of the love interest, Minazuki, was responsible for this loop that Chiyoko is in. Apparently it is an experiment in love, because all of the love interest were apparently going to have a very hard time with love throughout their entire lives and the proctors wanted to see what would happen in this simulation as a test. In the end, Chiyokos memory is erased, though we see later on that she does eventually make friends with all her love interests again and even dates Kyouya in the future.
Those who start reading this for the first time might think this is a reverse harem situation but in reality there is only one of the good endings that result in romance: Kyouya. All of the other good endings actually are more explorations of various issues they have with romance or something that they need to realize about themselves, such as one having a hard time differentiating from friendship and romance, or Hotaru who needs to learn how to live for himself instead of other people. This story actually goes quite deeply in how love is different from each person and the troubles that people go through for each type. It is very different from many other romance/shoujo stories that I’ve read since the actual focus is more on learning about each character and breaking them down more to understand the complexity of how people act. I think the ending might be a bit controversial since in the end none of the characters really remember what happened, but I’m glad all the characters were able to get happier though albeit realistic endings in the after story. I do think that Chiyoko and Kyouyas romance was really well done, especially with the two working together, as Kyouya really did help Chiyoko greatly in his remaining routes, giving insight into why the people might feel this way and opting to help Chiyoko treat them more as humans rather than targets. It’s also really emotional reading about Chiyokos feelings for each target as they both play out, seeing the kinds of hardships that they experience as well as the heartbreak of feeling that she has to betray her real love Kyouya.
I had to put this recommendation on hold for a while since after Chiyokos first encounter with Hotarus bad ending he basically is pushed aside near the end, but now that we can see his full story it becomes more clear why he acts this way. Hotaru is kinda similar my own yandere, Emil from First Impressions, where he fakes putting on a mask to give a sense that he doesn’t need anyone, which is partially because his parents neglect him and have high expectations of him. He actually is much more rude and cynical than he pretends to be and his obsessive nature in his bad endings manifest out of the fact that he believes he has to be the perfect person along with his feelings of loneliness. In fact all of his yandere endings do make a lot of sense given that he simply didn’t trust Chiyoko enough believe that he was enough. It actually is quite an interesting way of analyzing a yandere, given that many of these obsessive behaviors are often a sign of loneliness or lack of trust. In the after story, we do see that he does break off from his parents and seemingly is not dating someone, and given how he does not act like his fake self in front of her, it’s likely that he would not act like his bad end counterparts, at least not to that extreme.
While I think this story is not something you should read just for he yandere, I do think that it is a story that everyone should read. It’s insightful and very unique in its writing, with a really interesting concept and execution as well as a good analysis on a yandere character and why he acts the way he does.

Nico and Percy's dynamic through the series is eternally funny to me, because it's just. like.
Percy's having a constant mental struggle between his fatal flaw of loyalty with a promise he made to Bianca to protect Nico, versus his Big 3 kid desire to maim other Big 3 kids / Poseidon descendant urge to totally maim Nico specifically. He hates Nico so so much. He thinks Nico's annoying and weird at best, and creepy/sketchy when he's older. The only positive thoughts Percy has towards Nico are "He's Bianca's brother and Bianca was my friend and I owe her/He's Hazel's brother and Hazel is my friend and would kill me if I was mean to him," "He's a powerful asset and useful ally (if questionable)," and "He's kinda pathetic and I feel maybe a little bad about it." Percy has multiple occasions throughout the series where he strongly considers - and on one occasionally actually goes through with - throttling Nico.
Meanwhile, Nico is following around Percy like a lost puppy. He explicitly can never bring himself to even dislike anything about Percy no matter how hard he tries. He has a whole bit in BoO where he's mentally going "UGH he's so stupid BUT IT'S ENDEARING HOW DARE HE." He's totally smitten. He's making deals with his dad for Percy. He's making convoluted plans to help Percy stand a chance against Kronos. During the entirety of BoTL it's like he's playing tsundere - "I'm helping NOT PERCY SPECIFICALLY with this quest! Me helping Percy would be SILLY because I DEFINITELY HATE HIM." Then he proceeds to show up to Percy's birthday party to basically ask him on a weird date and spend the entire next book scrambling around trying to help him or protect him or impress him. And Percy could not give less of a shit.
Just. That dynamic is so funny to me. Percy is the founder of the Nico Protection Club in that he's the one they're all protecting Nico from and meanwhile Nico is throwing himself at Percy to the point where the literal god of gay love calls him out on it.
#pjo#percy jackson#nico di angelo#Percy shows up at CJ and squints at Nico like ''hm. why do i feel like i hate you? like i just wanna punch you in the face?''#and Nico just immediately goes ''huh no idea anyways i have to go-'' and jumps into Tartarus#but not before he gives Hazel essentially a detailed explanation of ''this is Percy i cant say much but please dont let him die <3''#and Nico's whole Tartarus trip was basically a whole ''im doing this so no one else has to''#only for Percy and Annabeth to fall in like one book later and Nico proceeds to spend the next book internally screaming about it#and then Cupid calls him out on it and the next book#Nico's just like ''at this point im hoping i keel over within the next week just so i can force this dumb crush to chill the fuck out''#Nico staring pointedly at Will: ''For my own sake i need to form another crush RIGHT NOW so i can finally get over Percy.''#''this has been so bad for my health''#Nico's crush on Percy is just too funny to me. horrible pick my guy. terrible job. love that for you. he could not be less interested.#Percy LITERALLY TRIES TO KILL NICO and ditch him in the underworld and Nico is somehow STILL like ''but i love him''#Percy basically chokes him. beats up his dad. tells him ''go get smited by your dad for me.'' and ditches him.#and Nico's opinions/crush on him DO NOT CHANGE#though also Nico's reaction to Percy beating up his dad + skeletons is SO funny. his jaw is on the floor. he's flustered about it.#he just witnessed Percy be incredibly hot and proceeded to go ''yea i'll do anything for this man. collect reinforcements of 3 gods? sure''#nico you absolute DISASTER with HORRIBLE TASTE. you can do better. raise your standards.#which tbh is funnier when you factor in sun and the star. Nico just wont stop crushing on guys who dislike him and everything he stands for

Hiya :D Just leaving a recommendation, the manga ‘Kami-sama ga Koi wo shiro to Itte iru!’/‘ God is Telling Me to Fall in Love’ has a yandere!
I actually do have this one in my drafts because Cherry recommended this to me a while ago, and it's really good! They also made another shoujo I quite liked, and they're really knocking it out of the park this time. I will say though that currently the yandere only really appears in one chapter since the main character is sort of avoiding him, so I might just have to wait until I reach that point in the manga, since she's aiming for his route last.

I’m back from my coma to talk about Nimona again
Specifically these scenes
Because this is the moment where the similarities between Gloreth and Ambrosius’ stories end

At face value, these scenes seem incredibly similar
In both scenes, Gloreth and Ambrosius are watching terrified as their homes are burning down around them because of a “monster”
But that’s where the similarities stop
Because in the first scene, Gloreth decides to listen to everything that her community has told her
And in the second scene, Ambrosius has finally figured out that everything he’s been told since he was a kid is a lie
#nimona#nimona 2023#nimona movie#ambrosius goldenloin#gloreth#can you tell how much this movie drives me insane#god i love it#it gets better every time I watch it#I have no intention on bashing Gloreth btw#did she betray her friend?#yes#was it an incredibly fucked up thing to do?#absolutely#but she's also a terrified child#who made a dumb choice while her world was falling apart#and I cant blame her for that#if I start thinking about the parallels between goldenheart and Nimona and Gloreths stories I’ll start crying#I could talk about this man til I’m blue in the face#and I have no air left in my lungs#god I love him#he’s such a compelling character#‘what are we doing’ is one of my favorite lines of all time#is so powerful

Firmly believe that if Ford had joined the Henchmaniacs, he and Pyronica would’ve instantly become besties. Ford finds out she’s a quantum physics genius who burned her city to the ground when she didn’t receive the proper appreciation she so rightfully deserved and is like “oh she’s just like me fr.” They would’ve been a “two queens maximizing their joint slay” dynamic for the ages.
#gravity falls#stanford pines#pyronica#ford tells her about how rudolph should’ve burned santa’s workshop to the ground and she’s like ‘where have you been all my life’#i am weirdly invested in this but ford’s flaws are my very favorite and the similarities here are great#as a lifelong champion for women’s wrongs pyronica is my kinda gal#and imagining dark side!ford is so much fun#i mean- the amount of crimes he committed during his dimensional escapades amused me#esp how he managed to make excuses for them#not sure how counting cards on lottocron 9 was part of his ‘noble’ goals but whatever#god I love hypocritical characters they’re endlessly amusing#tbob#the book of bill#the only woman who could keep him in check fr cause the minute he says something misogynistic she burns his ass to a crisp#god i can imagine how it would go down: ford saying soemthig shitty and pyronica’s like ‘I’m women actually’ and ford going ‘lol get real’#and then he’s just…vaporized#i can’t get swept away by this…i do not have the time to write it

Even with TBOB and thisisnotawebsite.com there's... Still so much we don't know about Bill. Like ok yeah he's given a tragic background, we know a bit more about his henchmaniacs, but we really don't know a lot. Like, what happened directly after he accidentally destroyed his dimension? It isn't said. Sure time baby KNOWS about Bill's destruction of his dimension, but it seems like he didn't show up after Bill's dimension was destroyed to apprehend him because he only knows about Bill after Bill tries to make a deal with him, causing Bill's wanted poster. And how did Bill become basically the overlord of the nightmare realm, and gather all his henchmaniacs? Like there's a good period where we just don't know. And it's implied he's shocked and horrified (likely even dissociates, since he does that) after he destroys his dimension. But his characterization doesn't seem by that point to be one that immediately goes into a self-destructive, violent god-becoming maniacal spiral of self hatred; it's more one to be overwhelmed with grief and spend a good long time in the midst of his grief, then necessarily he's about to DO anything. And generally speaking trope wise, there's steps missing; typically in this sort of scenario, the usual progression is this:
characterized as monster due to being different in some way
tries to prove their not
ends up hurting someone anyways
gets further villainized, and antagonized by others
Acceptance of being a monster, and goes okay? You wanted a monster? I'll be a monster.
Now this fits Bill's early life, up to number 4, but we don't know what happens immediately after. It's possible he just went into his spiral immediately after, but it feels wrong, because it is missing the part of someone further villainizing him beyond himself which causes him to lash out due to the expectation (and internalized) idea that he would cause harm. I'd assume maybe some kind of interdimensional authority showed up and accused him of purposely trying to kill his dimension, which triggered his "okay, then I'll be a monster", or even a situation where his 'monstrosity' through the badge of killing his dimension is garners him respect. Considering that his henchmaniacs are chosen out of monstrosity and violence as a badge of honor, it feels very much like this would make sense, except none of them really know about Bill's dimension. He doesn't brag about the violence of it; he only calls it a liberation, contrary to the idea that Bill ever used it to gain clout. Instead, it's more likely that an interdimensional authority showed up and accused Bill, except from circumstances, it doesn't seem like it was Time Baby, so not sure who it would be... but at the same time, that expectation is often required for the character to truly embrace their 'monstrosity' and become truly violent. Or perhaps it was delayed after the destruction of his dimension, later when he begins to run with his henchmaniacs and disregards the law, but that also doesn't feel satisfactory for character development. Or perhaps I'm just overthinking this trope...
Also, how did he have his powers? Some is clearly stuff he's always had; pyrokinesis from that one rhyme, the ability to see into 3d, and he was somehow able to destroy his dimension by whatever he did to let Euclydians see the stars (telekinesis?), but beyond that? Was he always all-seeing? How did he become a 'dream demon'? Are his deals actually binding or does he lie? Are these things that he acquired later, because Euclydians seem to be written about as if they usually don't have any of these abilities, nor the abilities Bill is known to have when young, nor did Bill seem to be able to be all seeing when he was younger. Plus, how was Bill able to survive the destruction of his dimension, if he's technically made of the same stuff as everyone else, who all seems to have a physical form? Why then does he seems to be characterized as a being made of pure energy and thought; is that just in Earth's dimension, or does he have a physical form within the nightmare realm? There's multiple things that are contradictory about his body (mouth-eye, yet talked about removing his exoskeleton to feed--not sure exactly when this was mentioned--plus his mouth located under his bricks and bowtie in his exoskeleton in journal 3). But he seems so thrilled by his physical form though on earth, and we know that physical forms exist within the Nightmare realm as Ford was in it... yet it seems like hes characterized to have no physical form, so did he perhaps lose his physical form when his dimension died? Did he technically die with them too, but with his powers was able to survive essentially as a ghost like he tells Dipper you become without a body?
#hugin rambles#hugin rambles gf#bill cipher#the book of bill#tbob spoilers#thisisnotawebsitedotcom#gravity falls#gravity falls meta#bill ci the triangle guy#theres so many questions and i get part of it is just not explained and likelye never will be and thats also FUN to play with#but its also super curious because there is a v large time where you DONT know a pivotal part of Bill's existence. like he presumably also#dated a howling void? when does that fit in or is it another bit?#but like... the implications about his power and his form and euclydia burning. like fuck#also putting my chips on he was accused directly after and escaped the authorities. and has been chased since and he was like well okay ill#be fucking monster then actively#although it is an interesting thought experiment if it was slowly over time it snowballed into him having a god-complex#also like LOVE getting into how magic works. like okay tell me the technical details. fanfics which go into this i devour with delight#is he an actual demon or it is it just classed as he makes deals? are these deals binding? is it also something that then peovides hik with#power in that sense? oughhh so many good questions.#trying not to feel like Ford excitedly pulling out a clipboard to record all my theories and failing whoops#also like im aware parts of this will be not accurate and perfectly smooth for Bill's powers and char development because its always been#predicated on whats funnier rather then it being a self-formed idea fully fleshed at the beginning of the series

In the middle of writing the worst day of hs!gojos life and like-- ive been thinking abt this hc for actual years so i might as well drop it here while im figuring out how to Put Words Onto Page
I imagine that pressing a hand against Gojo’s Infinity would give you a sense of extreme vertigo. Kind of like Kenjakus giant ass catfish curse that made Yuji think he was falling, but somehow both infinitely (heh) worse and better.
Better because hey, at least the feeling is isolated to the limbs that are against Infinity, and Worse because holy shit the feeling is isolated to the limbs that are against Infinity.
Because like... think abt it tho...
Infinity works via achilles paradox-- "any moving object must reach halfway on a course before it reaches the end". Infinity makes that paradox real by giving an infinite amount of halfways between the object and the end. The end being himself.
That would mean then, that whatever object touches Infinity and gets blocked by it, is in a constant state of forward motion, held only in place by the endless halfways it must go thru to reach Gojo. Honestly, as i think abt it more while writing this post, it feels to me like Infinity is kind of like a black hole or bottomless pit. It keeps whatever object moving towards the center (black hole) but it never gets any closer to the point that its basically still (bottomless pit)
Imagine then, what it would feel like if you were the "object" going up against Gojo’s Infinity. Like, not even punching him. Just giving him like, a high five or leaning on him or something of that nature.
You go to pat Gojo’s shoulder to give him some physical affection but as your hand descends to meet the dark fabric of his uniform, it. Keeps. Going. Down. But, you're looking at your hand. Its perfectly still on Gojo’s shoulder. But your hand, it still feels like its moving. And if you're sensitive to motion, this is the part where your head starts to spin/get light-headed, this is the part where your knees get weak. You feel that its still going, why is it still going, its frozen still, but your hand. Keeps. Going. You want to topple over, but you're on still and steady ground and youre properly supported on your feet, but your hand keeps telling you that its still going down down dOWN DOWN DOWN--
And then gojo turns off his Infinity and snaps you out of ur mini panic attack. Oopsies!
#wow i did not expect to get into spooky scary territory there#if you cant tell already i am particularly sensitive to motion and things like that#specifically large heights and falling#although i will say that i dont have basiphobia/basophobia aka fear of falling#its more of a morbid fascination of falling#i would like to fall into an endless pit please#god i would actually love to go into those like--#skydiving practice tube thingies#thats just falling in a controlled environment baby#god. if i could breathe underwater#watch me sink into the depths of the sea#and then immediately pussy out because its too dark and scary and lonli uwu sad face#i just--uGH being weightless and floating would be so epic#jjk#jujutsu kaisen#wynn talks#gojo satoru#jjk headcanons

5 Underrated Things or Tactics That May Aid Bell's Hells to Victory
Spoilers up to Campaign 3 Episode 116 below
Well Critters, it all comes down to this.
Vox Machina dismantled the Malleus Keep, killed Ozo (the Bozo) Kruft, and freed the Champion of Ravens which removed the tidal lock on Ruidus, and now the Mighty Nein have disintegrated the Weave Mind, completing essentially a full dismantling of the Kreviris Imperium, all of which quicker than I anticipated. All that's left is the Hallowed Cage, where Ludinus Da'leth and his inner circle are using his harness to try and fully destroy Liliana Temult. Bell's Hells begin a race against time to save her, but also a race to defeat Ludinus before he unleashes his intentions unto Exandria and its Pantheon with Predathos, and then decide for themselves what they do with the God Eater.
Suffice to say, and I dunno about everyone else but, I am terrified. I believe they can win but Ludinus is not to be underestimated, this second harness means he may be stronger - and he was already the strongest wizard alive - and have access to more powers compared to his simulacra, plus Predathos may come during or after this battle, which can put the Hells in a weakened state. Matt has likely prepared his best and worst for this final battle too, but the Hells aren't Lv. 20 combatants like the other groups; there's no 9th level spells, no Divine Intervention, and the group lost their cleric ~20 episodes back, so even though VM and the Nein were ultimately successful within 1-2 episodes having to use both of their auto-succeed Divine Interventions from their two clerics in the process, this is the battle. And with that is a ridiculous amount of tension for Ludinus and for what comes after. For all we know, the cast may've already recorded ahead enough to have finished the final fight, maybe even finished the campaign (though I hope not, partly because I don't want it to end yet but also I feel like the dawn of the new era should be explored regardless of what choice the Hells make, plus some characters could use a bit more resolution after the big fight and the pressure of stakes and time sensitivity have been alleviated) but for us it's a nervous wait, and a wonder of what can be done to win and what choice will be made to determine the future of Exandria, Ruidus, their faith and their people. So, this is my indulging into that first part, 5 lower-key things or tactics that might not have been initially thought of that could make things easier to defeat Ludinus.
Liliana, the Inner Circle, and the Arcane Battery Provided that the Hells make it in time to stop Liliana from being totally destroyed by the harness (which is very possible since Laudna does have that tracking spell on him since Aeor, it's all about speed and not running into enemies) she will still be without her magic to fight. Ludinus' inner circle holding her down is comprised of Reilorans but also other Ruidusborns, and that's something the Hells can expose. Liliana cannot fight, but Ruidusborns can take spell slots from each other, so Liliana and any KO'd Ruidusborns from the inner circle can be used as spell slot fuel for Imogen and Fearne. Ludinus also gave a 9-slot fully-charged Arcane Battery to the Hells in order to trigger Delilah within Laudna for his escape, the battery can help recharge Laudna's slots too which makes this tactic handy for the witches of the group.
Dunamancy One of Ludinus' most important tools for his plan has been Luxon Beacons, a device able to unravel even divine magic, but much like the Harness it can prove his undoing. Dunamancy hasn't been touched upon as much as early C3 hinted it could have, but for lack of a better phrase, the possibilities are still endless. The Hells have multiple Potions of Possibility at their disposal to aid with rolls, but they also were given a Sphere of Dunamantic Restoration by the Kryn, which will trigger the effects of a Short Rest and a health and spell slot recharge - which can be handy in a pinch and to reuse some once per short rest abilities. Ashton is the key factor though, I've mentioned it a few times already but we don't know if these items will behave differently with them, via their own internal dunamancy abilities. Given the unknown factor, that's why it's not deemed as much of a tactic as it is a Hail Mary, but it is one that could lead to Ludinus' own magic unraveling, and maybe even Predathos' too
The Whirling Dervish & Conditional Advantages In Vassalheim, Dorian received his family sword: Gambolcleft, the Vortex Blade. One of its yet to be used abilities involves a once a day repetitive use of striking an enemy, similar to how Ozo killed Vex, provided that they attack with Disadvantage. Dorian is already looking at a high attack roll given Gambolcleft's +3 to attack and hit rolls, and Master's Flourish means he doesn't have to use a Bardic Inspiration to stack a Blade Flourish (Defensive Flourish is probably best, the damage is also doubled by Gambolcleft), the only quibble is the disadvantage. Fortunately, most of the Hells have skills that can force Ludinus into conditions where attacks would do advantage on him: stunning and rendering him prone being most likely, but paralysis is possible if a Hold Person is successful. It would of course require his Legendary Resistances to be used up first, but if Ludinus gets stunned or knocked prone within Dorian's range, Gambolcleft could easily carve its way through him with continual hits, stacked potentially by Bless and Mark of the Messy End, for perpetual damage and make Dorian himself impossible to hit on his next turn. Stunning or Proning Ludinus also leaves Ludinus at the vicious mercy of the martial players, especially for conditions that auto-crit when hit.
The Hole (or the Bag of Holding) Occam's Razor. An old but gold tactic of the Hells could very easily be used against Ludinus too. The portable hole or the bag of holding are devoid of air, left in one long enough with it sealed would mean suffocation as have been the fate of many of the Hells' past opponents that they didn't have time to deal with. The Hole's downside is that a Strength check can lead to a creature forcing their way out, but the Hells do have plenty of skills that can impose disadvantage on Strength rolls and the aforementioned conditions could help that, Ashton's Hammer may also make it more difficult to unfold the Hole if its Immovable Rod is propped atop of it - but that'd be down to Matt's discretion. The Bag of Holding doesn't have the strength save, but it is smaller so it may not be able to fit him in it. I'm not sure if Ludinus can use Gate to escape either, dunno if that leads to the whole extradimensional rip thing that happens if you open one while in the other, but if he does it's a concentration spell so the Hells could just keep knocking him back from the other side, a bigger group of enemies in either also reduces the time needed before they suffocate.
The Harness and the One-Chance Polymorph Right now Ludinus is using a harness to destroy Liliana, comparing it to the one in Moleasmyr it'll potentially take about an hour to finish the process providing that this factor wasn't improved upon. However, removing magic within a being for a whole day only required a minute of contact in the Hells' one and maybe Ludinus', thus his creation and reason for long life and power can also be the key to his downfall. Holding Ludinus down for a minute is of course not as easy as it sounds but that's where Polymorph can come in. Polymorph lasts at most an hour, so as long as Ludinus is changed into a creature that can easily be restrained they can use the harness on it and remove Ludinus of his entire arsenal in order to finish him off without the risk of his high level spells. The tricky part is getting Polymorph to succeed; Wisdom is after all a Wizard's bread and butter, but there is a single gambit that could make it work. It requires all Legendary Resistances to be gone of course, and for Laudna and Braius to be conscious; Braius has a once per long rest ability to change a Wisdom saving throw to a Charisma one, which he used to allow Dorian to succeed in making the Dominox dance in the live show, Laudna's Void Puppet can force disadvantage on saves to those within 5ft of it, which will negate his magical resistance to just a clean roll. Orym can also use Hex to impose a disadvantage, which may be able to stack, but this would also hinge on Ludinus' charisma not being super high and if the Polymorph fails once it will likely not be able to be tried again.
The fight won't be easy, but there are avenues that can make it less dangerous, a strategy is very much required for such a foe. All the while my strategy remains keeping up the prayer circle. Deep breaths everyone.
