before i even knew of house's existence, i've watched another couple of obviously gay, definitely too hot doctors
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
they're chaotic. they bicker all the time. they're one mean older man and one fluffy marshmallow nepo baby. and despite the show giving them both women to chase, i refuse to acknowledge their straightness. like, come on. they even shared a body at times.
they're cha young-min and go seung-tak of ghost doctor.

Ghost Doctor’s Guide to Hospital Procedure (for newbies)
1.) If you see something strange, say nothing. Particularly if that something is Go Seung Tak.
2.) It’s still not clear if Kang Sejin works here, but it’s not worth your pay grade to ask. Nurse Jang will come for your head.
3.) Recent addendum: DO NOT let Go Seung Tak steal any more patients from the ICU.
4.) The roof garden forever belongs to Professor Cha and his relationship issues.
5.) Re: Professor Cha, *looks around furtively* now that he’s awake, if he starts reminiscing about surgeries that happened while he was comatose, just nod along with it. No pissing off the surgeon in a designer suit.
6.) It’s fine and normal for interns to hit residents.
7.) Don’t question whatever the hell is going on between Professor Cha and Go Seungtak. Seungtak will get heart eyes and ramble enthusiastically about how they’re so close they practically share the same body, and Professor Cha will level his Medusa stare at you and start accusing you of conspiring against them.
8.) Sometimes, residents with a history of performing advanced surgeries aren’t qualified to change a catheter. Pretend the cognitive dissonance doesn’t exist.
9.) When in doubt, page Crystal. She’s literally the only reliable one.
10.) If you suddenly find yourself missing a few hours and you’re on a different floor of the hospital doing something unexpected, just start doing multiplication tables.

I only have two episodes left of the wonderful Move to Heaven. This is such a well-told story. It unpacks grief, preconceived notions and assumptions, delves into all types of relationships between people, and has a great heart amongst some rough edges. Looking forward to finishing it.
No Gain No Love is off to a fun start. Shin Min Ah is just the right amount of prickly and understandable. She’s rightfully upset about the neglect from her parents and bad ex-boyfriends. But I love that she is still besties with her foster sisters. Kim Young Dae is an angelic convienence store employee who is nice to everyone but Shin Min Ah’s character. I love their mutual annoyance of each other. It’s obvious the reason they have this conflict is because they remind each other of a beloved family member that they have a complicated relationship with so you understand why they are repelled yet drawn to each other. Can’t wait for Byeon Woo Seok’s cameo next week!
Moon Sang Min won me over in Wedding Impossible so I was keen to start Cinderella at 2AM. He’s perfect here as a total loser in love who’s willing to go to great lengths make their relationship work. I’m really enjoying Shin Hyun Been too. Her reluctance to stay with a boyfriend who hid the truth about his family and social status makes sense. Even in these first two episodes, the writer did a good job of showing the cracks in their relationship that would have led to their downfall but now can be addressed to make them stronger together.
Love Next Door is growing on me. I could see the good bones of the story were there and I love the actors but I have an issue with all the hitting-as-humor which is not funny to me. These last two episodes dived into the drama of trauma and I was here for it. There are so many layers and subtlety in their relationship. They know each other so well and yet there are many unknown and hidden parts too. I’m here to savor their slow reveal.
I was able to squeeze in another episode of Ghost Doctor. It’s funny with great relationships and drama. I’m really enjoying this show.
I watched the first half of Queen Woo when it dropped yesterday. It was okay. The story’s kinda choppy and most of the characters are paper thin or annoying (*side eyes the weird shaman and jealous sister*). This is also on a streaming network so it has no restrictions; it’s rated 21+ (gore, nudity, sex, r*pe). It felt Game of Thrones lite. The only things getting me through are the Queen’s cunning and determination, the flashbacks to the King and Queen’s relationship, and Lee Soo Hyuk’s villainous prince.

i just think it's very mary shelley of Ko Seungtak to have done lifesaving open heart surgery on his mentor who is also the love of his life
the inherent homoeroticism of weaving stitches into the heart of your love, stitches that he taught you how to do afjhdlskgjlkgjaaaaaasjsdkhj i can't y'all

Saw an PERFECT edit on Twitter (X) that featured Seung-tak saying I love you to Rang, fits perfectly with my headcannon of them being best friends ;)))
and Seung-tak cute as always, while Rang acting being annoyed but secretly likes him very much and very protective over his new human friend since Seung-tak is cute as a puppy :D

I'm finally caught up with The Judge From Hell so I can watch the new episodes this weekend. Park Shin Hye is killing it with her sassiness and reluctant foray into feeling emotions. Kim Jae Young is winning me over too with his struggle over justice versus revenge while helplessly falling for Justitia.
So happy to see Hwang In Yeop in his first romantic ML role in Family By Choice. The found family dynamic is one of the sweetest things ever contrasted by the terrible things that have happened to them. My heart goes out to all of them.
Though I've been slowly watching Ghost Docotor, it hits the sweet spot of funny yet sincere with high enough stakes to keep me invested in what happens next.
Also, I'm three episodes into The Scholar Who Walks The Night which has the perfect amount of ridiculous fantasy fun along with all the neck-biting blood-sucking I could want in vampire tale. Lee Joon Gi is doing his best tortured noble vampire trying to save the kingdom while he mourns his first love. And Lee Soo Hyuk is every bit the epic vampire villain shirtlessly strutting about in a huge open robe while he threatens kings and turns people into vampires to do his bidding.
