and we know that shen yuan died early 20's I like to headcanon he's around 21-22 when he died, it was like 3 years before immortal alliance conference and I think bingmei spent 3 years in the abyss so sy would be 27-28 and then plant coma happens for 5 years so svsss sy is still in like 27-28 mentally but technically is around 32-33

do you ever think about how lucanis keeps losing and losing and losing — his entire life? losing his parents, losing his childhood because of the crow training, losing his freedom, his sleep, and one year of his life due to imprisonment. then the maker smiles upon him, and he's discovering something good (rook, the veilguard team, purpose), acquiring something back (his family, his life, his freedom, his job, his city), finding some peace in mundane things (coffee, cooking, taking care of others). it feels like the scales are finally moving, balancing — only for him to lose again. he loses caterina, he can lose his city to blight, he loses at weisshaupt, he loses grip on himself (thanks to spite), he loses control — he loses himself, piece by piece. rook can help lighten the load on his chest (thanks to spite), he gets caterina back, and breathing feels a little bit easier. but loss is not done with him. he loses illario, and it feels like losing a limb, a large piece of himself violently torn away. he's visibly shaken, but no one truly knows what it takes to string the assorted pieces of himself together and keep functioning. and then loss deals what seems like the final blow: some of his friends are dead or lost, and rook is gone, too. he failed; he only knows death, doesn't he? life only takes, and takes, and takes, giving only to tease and take it back. at that moment, he's falling apart completely — until they find rook, and there's a sliver of hope once again. the scales are moving, the team wins, they eventually go back to their lives — and that's when he realizes that the final blow is the life as the first talon.

Romance in vore

Romance and the romantic elements in vore are so often neglected but I personally love them so so much! I feel like there’s allot that can be done whether that’s with an Observing SO watching their Pred Spouse or Partner devouring someone, either safely or with digestion, and getting to rub their squirming belly as it kneads the Prey trapped within feeling the SO of their Pred. Or where the Prey and Pred love and trust one and other so much that they Prey feels safe going into the deepest part of their Pred and the Pred is happy to hold their special someone in their core.

Some scenarios

A has had a really crap day at work B their partner listens to them vent about all the annoying things they’ve had to put up with. B offers to swallow them/swallows them down without asking since they know what A wants is to be totally encompassed within them. A begins to relax once they’re nestled deep within B and slowly falls asleep whilst B rubs their huge gut lovingly and tenderly.

A comes home to find B on the sofa groaning. B has taken a rather fiesty prey whilst out in the day A cuddles up to B and rubs their gut as their prey becomes fat and muscle and the two fall asleep intwined in eachother

A is running from someone or something and B proving their love for A devours the thing that is perusing A and lets A rub their gut as it squirms

A begs to be allowed inside B for the night as they feel the safest completely surrounded by their Pred and their protector. B is hesitant at first but that adorable face melts their heart and they agree swallowing up A in a heartbeat.

Happy New Year!

And happy (sort of) birthday to this blog! 🎂

So it’s not my blog’s official birthday (I think that was a few weeks ago) but today is officially one year since I made my first post sharing a drawing of my MC. I’d never properly engaged in fandom before (I was on tumblr in my teens but was too scared to actually interact with anyone or anything 😅) but I’m so glad that I decided to take the plunge this time and do it.

I’m very grateful to this game for inspiring me to go back to art after such a long break. I didn’t realise how much I’d missed it until I started again and how important having a creative outlet is for winding down at the end of the day. I’ve also enjoyed having little goals and projects to work on, and having more of a sense of purpose and direction with my free time. I know I’ve still got work to do, but I’m proud of the progress I’ve made so far and I’m excited to see where I might be in another year.

But more importantly, I’m grateful to have met some really wonderful people through this fandom. Brain-rotting over the game and characters, as well as other things, has genuinely been one of the highlights of my year and I’m very lucky to be surrounded by such inspiring and talented people.

And finally, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone here! To the artists for putting out some beautiful pieces and inspiring me to keep improving, to the writers for putting out some amazing fics and basically keeping me entertained for a whole year, and to everyone that’s still around and keeping this fandom going! ❤️ fingers crossed this year, we’ll get some proper news on the sequel!
