Raisa parked her car in front of Quinton's building, an overnight bag stealthily stashed away in her trunk. If it wasn't their routine now, it would have seemed presumptuous, but fuck it. They knew exactly who they were; why pretend otherwise. They'd texted back and forth over the past few days, Raisa sending Quinton memes, trying to get him to laugh, keeping him updated with all the craziness throughout the day. Dressed in a mid-length halter dress in deep amethyst that showed off her bare shoulders, clavicle, and smooth legs, she knocked on his door, grinning before he even opened it. She couldn't remember the last time she was excited for a date--had she ever been?

Jan-New-Ary Day 7/8! I think paradox pokemon are going to be difficult for me to do in the sense that I have done many of their "regular" counterparts and they'll feel too much like remakes, but this one had the additional hurdle of basically being 3 pokemon in one (magneton which is just magnemite x3 and both of which I've already done), PLUS more details. Altogether took 8hr7 and I had to take so many breaks because I was falling asleep a lot. Also this is a good example of a pokemon whose design really isn't that complicated, just time consuming. I love the way it turned out though!

"W-well I was considering giving Thunderbird Shadow an upgrade. You see, one of the ship's biggest drawbacks is that it only has one seat. Obviously, Shadow is p-primarily a stealth vehicle, but it still often helps out in rescues when needed. But if the other Thunderbirds are occupied, Thunderbird Shadow isn't really in a position to help evacuate civilians. Therefore, I'm c-considering adding a passenger seat behind the pilot seat so that it can at least evacuate one person." He glances up at John, "H-however, I don't want to have to add too much weight to the ship and potentially lower its speed. I would appreciate any suggestions if you have some." He moves to the side to allow John a better look at the schematics.

"That's true... but then we've never really considered Shadow an evac vehicle." John's fingers slide so lightly over the paperwork strewn over Brains' desk that he doesn't disturb a single sheet. Sharp blue-green eyes analytically take in the blueprints and the other man's annotations. The whole thing is planned out in a lightweight metal alloy that John assumes Brains has come up with himself. It's... really quite ingenious. As if they can expect anything less.

"How would this work with the conversion to her bike?" The spaceman taps a section of the sheet detailing Brains' ideas for a back seat. "You know, for multiple casualties, maybe she needs some kind of extendable rescue platform, like Two's?" John scratches the back of his head.

Where: Coffee Shop When: Earlyish in the morning among the first days back on campus Who: Open!

It had been late when Diego had arrived at Waverly, spending most of the night unpacking and checking up with his schedule to make sure that all his classes were in order for the new term. The next morning, though a very small part of him was dreading it, he couldn't actually put off showing up in public. Not when he needed a latte as much as he did. The coffee shop was full of grumpy students when he arrived. It was early enough in the morning that most of them were too concerned with themselves, and their own problems to pay him any mind. Which was welcome.

So, he ordered his latte and a whole grain muffin, before he headed to deposit his thing on an empty table while he waited for his name to be called. Diego scrolled on his phone for a while before he headed up to the counter to retrieve his order, paying and thanking the barista, before heading back to his table only to see that someone else had decided to join him. "Oh, hey," he greeted as he slowed to a stop at his table, taking a seat opposite the other person.

psa!!! i have moved to a new blog that i am currently keeping off the radar/off of tumblr recommended -- i worked out a system where i'm slowly following back the mutuals i have here once i finish writing the drafts i owe to y'all. which i feel is making it very nice and low pressure for me 😌

once i've whittled down my draft count, i'll switch the urls back over so that i'm at this url again... so no huge rebrand or anything, and it'll be back to business as usual! i expect it to be a process of another month or two, so for any of my mutuals i haven't followed just yet: if i've got one of your drafts cooking, i promise i'm getting around to it! and for any new followers, that just means a potential delay on me getting around to looking at your blogs until i'm officially moved over.

after the move, i am going to be more selective going forward in the sense that i want to keep a cleaner dash, as well as to be actively plotting/building dynamics/writing with mutuals. "writing" is last on that list because i will never judge reply speeds, ic or ooc!! i do however want to have some intial ooc back and forth, a foundation to build narratives upon, and some active interest in building character dynamics/rships.

i'll expand on all this when i make the move official!
