Seriously, there’s a beach date and a museum date and more than one scene where being soaked by the rain is involved. I binged the whole thing in one sitting.

This one is pretty heavy. It’s not necessarily sad, but there’s a lot of violence and bullying and homophobia. However the plot really does pull you in, and it’s a really good slowburn. but like, slow slow.

This one is like the opposite of the last one. No dark themes that I can think of, it’s fun and cute while also shining a pretty strong light on the emotions of the characters. This fic has me blushing and swinging my feet.

My recent gaming achievements that I want to brag about

Beat Hades 2's 'heat 32 mode of difficulty which involves clearing two diffrent kinds of gameplay with dozens of challenges placed upon them, and I made it look EASY, too.

It was profoundly enjoyable bc I didn't even try this one on the OG Hades too! I just tried for fun here and BOOM. wreckd.

I beat EVERY SINGLE MISSION OF THE AGE OF MYTHOLOGY CAMPAIGNS ON TITAN DIFFICULTY, THE HARDEST ONE. Honestly this is one of my achievements that feels on par with beating every level of Kid icarus uprising on 9.0; I'm framing these on my fridge, I'm so goddamn proud. Beating a real time strategy game's levels on the hardest difficuty feels like outwitting a machine with my fleshy brain. Like, they're built with every advantage, they think and act faster than any humans possibly could, and STILL. I outsmarted outplayed, cheesed, and savagely tore my way to victory. I honestly felt more like a god of war than the actual god of war game lol

Cozytober 3 & 4 - Chilly Autumn Day; Faint Scent of Smoke

I pulled my shawl a little closer against the cool breeze, as we walked along the forest path. I'd complained a little when Veelia had put so many layers on, but now I was grateful.

Kyrck strode ahead of me, bundled up in an old sweater of Lucard's that I'd never given away. It was much too big on him - he was such a bean pole - but he didn't seem to mind. For once, he wasn't talking - just taking everything in with eyes the size of saucers. I kept forgetting, the poor man was nearing forty years old, and this was his first time ever going outside.

Our mother led the way, also keeping pretty quiet. I still didn't know her that well... but she was carrying herself the way I always did when I was anxious. I put on a little speed and drew up alongside her.

"There's really nothing to be afraid of," I said, trying to be gentle. "You're their daughter. Of course they'll want to see you."

Mother sighed. "I know you think you're speaking from experience," she said. "But... Nabikio was different. He didn't lie to you. He didn't run away. He didn't find a metia uté among your enemies...."

"Maybe not," I said. "But even if he had, that wouldn't have changed the simple fact that he is my son. It would have hurt, but would it make me never want to see him again? Would you feel that way about Kyrck? Besides," I went on when she didn't say anything, "It's been forty years. Time heals many wounds, or so I've heard...."

Mother gently squeezed my forearm through the sling. "...Thank you, Fellatra."

"Anyone else smell something burning?" said Kyrck, tilting his head in curiosity.

"That's... probably their hearth," said Mother. "We're close now." She steeled herself and stepped forward with a little more conviction.
