Gluttony and Lust

I LOVE the dramatic lighting the fires of Leor (Lior?) give off so… I decided to go with it again. I used a handful of references for Gluttony this time it’s crazy to say that he has been the hardest to draw. HOW? I think he’s just too symmetrical for my brain to comprehend so I had to redraw the sketch three or four times before I was satisfied. He did give me practice with teeth (actually drawing them more individually instead of one shape). I’m proud of how this whole thing came out though 🥰

I also wanted to include the Eye of Truth in his mouth for FMAB lore reasons then the transmutation sparks for aesthetic reasons.

So who’s next? Bradley? Sloth? Pride?… Father? Hmmm 🤔

i know today is a very solemn day but i didn't feel like making something angsty so i remake the poster and scene of the other big oct.3rd media because this idea has been giving me brain worms and i don't think i've ever seen anyone make this kind of "crossover" (if someone already did well... great minds think alike)

Since I digitized Greed last week, I wanted to follow up with Lust :)

I included the reference this time since the lighting was different and this image is a little deeper when you look her up. This helped me practice with lighting, smoke AND backgrounds. Good study. I think my natural art style gave her a slightly wider nose but that’s okay. I like it. Also, I felt like if she did have earrings, maybe the could have a similar shape to her extended claws, like a call back to her go-to weapon.

As I colored this, I kept feeling like it looked like old 80s anime until I realized she looks like she belongs with the Hex Girls 🤣

FMABruary2025 - Uniform

"Disguise"

Once, for a whole day, Gluttony, Lust and Envy decided to work a mission incognito.

I like the idea that Gluttony somehow played 4-D Chess and manipulated the others to do this plan, so that he could dress up in the military uniform.

Specifically referencing this image from the 2003 series, because it still makes me laugh:

First, they thought to do this in the first place, like they're Team Rocket, or something.

Second, where did they get those uniforms that were conveniently in their sizes from, unless they had them to hand and were planning on doing a quick change at a moments notice at some point.

Thirdly, WHY DID ENVY DRESS UP!? HE CAN LOOK LIKE ANYONE HE WANTS!!!
