They are both here for a tour of the Red Keep. Their school wanted them to write an essay about it, and as usual, Rhae Arryn partners with her.

Why wouldn’t she? They are best friends.

“Do you think they liked each other?” Rhae looks at the tapestry depicting King Viserys I with his family. His first wife is depicted in it besides their daughter, Rhaenyra, and her children from her two marriages and his second wife, Alicent, is on his other side with her four children.

Even the artist behind it couldn’t hide Alicent Hightower's youth. She is the same age as Rhaenyra Targaryen, just as Ali Redwyne is the same age as Rhae Arryn.

“Maybe they did before the king married her.” Ali answered, feeling unnerved by the resemblance they had with the women in the tapestries.

“No, that type of like, like like like each other.” The blonde specifies, and Ali finds herself blushing.

Leave it to Rhae to claim all ladies from before their time were secretly gay just because they are. Not that they were girlfriends or anything. They were gay just not for each other.

“I doubt they’d ever say that even if it did ---” Ali is interrupted by spur of the moment kiss from the girl beside her.

The red-haired girl kissed her back, and for a second, they’re school uniform changes to old timey dresses and the castle from the over lit museum to how it had been in the reign of Viserys I.

“Did you see that?” Ali asks when they break apart and return to the modern world.

“Do you want to see it again?”

I usually name playlists after characters or after whatever I plan to use them for (some examples being "Bad Sanses", "Nightmare", "Get 💩 Done", and "Writing [insert genre here]"). Sometimes I name playlists off whatever artist/singer the playlist consists of, but eh. Those ones aren't all that interesting

The clothes I like to wear; easy. Stretchy pants (they're not quite yoga pants, they're actually thicker than them), t-shirts, and baggy jackets/hoodies. Sometimes I like to wear baggy, fluffy pajama pants around the house, too

The most fun word I know; that one's easy too. It's "canoodle" it just sounds fun ok

Then for what I like to do in cities. Provided I have enough money for it, I like going to different shops and exploring. Getting some food, seeing what cool stuff is available, stuff like that. There's a friend I've visited a couple times already, and there's a cat cafe really close to where he lives, and I love it. Just,, fluffy babies sniffing me and seeing what I got, letting me love them, and then getting to watch some of the younger ones play. Heck yeah,, being surrounded by kitties is my dream come true

Well hello there!!! It's always nice to see a new face! As for your lovely questions....

Sequins: oh gosh I haven't actually gotten to making a lot of playlists on Spotify yet lol, just one primarily made of musical theatre songs lol, but I named it destresso espresso! I like to name my playlists fun and silly things, otherwise I just go for vibes! Ik that's kind of vague lol sorry I can't be more specific, like I said I haven't made many yet!

Lamps: man my style literally varies by day lol, like right now I'm wearing a ruffly skirt with a tied black button down shirt (it's actually super cute, I feel very fem today), but yesterday I wore a hoodie and some leggings. I tend to kind of flip between styles, but I do particularly like floral or cottage-core type outfits, since I like to utilize my flower crown collection! (How much effort I put into my outfit also depends on how much time and energy I have in the morning lol).

Old cars: man this is a fun question! I had to think really hard about this one, but the first thing that came to mind was Kudzu! It's a type of invasive plant in Eastern America that people actually send out goats to go eat!

Hats: ooooh see honestly I'm not much of a city girl, I've been to New York and it was nice to visit, but cities tend to be a bit too much for me, sensory-wise. But when I am in cities, I do like to shop around a bit, whether it's window shopping or trying a little restaurant I've heard is good. If I'm visiting there like on a trip I like to find little souvenirs for friends and family.

5. My English teacher, who was a 5' Lebanese spitfire from Michigan. She could hold a room with a look and didn't tolerate nonsense, but she loved teaching and she loved us. I miss her.

6. I do want to travel! I haven't done much since I've been grown, but I'd like to visit Japan again, and Ireland, and do a few road trips around the US.

thoughts on travel?

Ohh I love to travel!

One of my favourite things about travelling is leaving my home and where I'm from and exploring something new. I love trying new foods, going on walks around the city or wherever I am, meeting new people who are from all over the world and just being in a new place.

I also love travelling with my family. We would go on holiday, the four of us and we would have a great time, though my sister and I would share a room and we would fight by at least the 3rd day normally, but make up the next day as sisters do.

When I was travelling through Europe a couple of years ago alone I would love to just go walking and discover buildings and things by accident. I never really had a plan on what I would do each day so it was always fun to see what I'd find.

I'm hoping to get back to travelling once we can as there are still so many places I want to go to.

Yes, it’s Persian. Mah- means “moon” and -firuz means “blissful”, “auspicious”, “victorious” , though I have seen people translate it as “favourite of the moon” 

Interesting (imo) bit: firuze means “turquoise”, so Mahfiruz and Mahfiruze have different meanings
