Anon was born/raised in the southwest region of the USA and was taught that sprinkling a bit of salt helps bring out the natural sweet flavor of the watermelon. However, among their friends (both locally and globally), no one has ever said they do the same. Anon is curious to know who does, as it’s clearly not just a family tradition but it certainly can’t be that rare.
