Jo9 simple backstories and power overviews
There's not a lot we know about the jury so all of this is very headcannon-y for warning. Some of this might clash with cannon so I'm leaning for this to be more so a part of my rewrite.
Zane Ro’meave (unofficial title: Zane the Undying)
Deemed leader of the Jury of Nine by Lorde Garte, his father, and instead of choosing a ninth guard for his squad he declared himself as worthy enough for the position. Still remains the ninth member of the Jury of Nine to this day and refuses to choose another as he believes one could not wield the power like he does, also refuses to take an official Jury title, feels as though it is beneath him and people should fear his name and his name alone.
Zane was never a guard, never took the oath and never trained as one, took the Jury Leader position per his fathers request after he finished his studies and became the High Priest of O'khasis. He has no knowledge or skill in weapons of any sort, physically he is weak, he uses others to accomplish the things he wants, his conviction and manipulation is his greatest advantage.
Has had the gift of foresight since he was a child, a magic that allows him to read people's thoughts and see fractions of moments of the future. He believes his powers come from the heavens and the stars, that he has a divine right to rule because of his power. He receives something akin to prophecies of the future, vague visions of what will come to pass, these visions have never been wrong- and he cannot change anything no matter how hard he tries. So he desires to seek out a magic that can, something that will provide him with the strength to alter fate.
(He can’t read Aphmau's mind and she has changed a future Zane saw, it was small and minute but it changed, she did something that resulted in his vision being wrong. Zane is never wrong. This is why he is so enamored with her, why he wants her dead- because she’s stronger than him, because she can change fate. It is a power he wants so desperately and if he can’t have it then no one can.)
Janus the Silver Death
Most everything about him is unknown, he is an enigma wrapped in a mystery. He hides behind his helm, and the only person to ever see under the mask and live to tell of it is Zane. Janus is thought to be an elf in some form, no one knows if he’s a full elf or half and he never answers when asked. He is the oldest member of the Jury, no one remembers how long he’s been there, and rumor has it that he’s been protecting the Lords of O'khasis for centuries. It is unclear if he was a guard or not before his Jury position.
Janus wields twin broadswords, one frost and one fire. Expert fighter, no one has ever seen him lose a fight. Although more often than not he relies on his Jury abilities. He is a necromancer of sorts, he possesses the ability to bring back those that his enemies have slain- the more people his opponent has killed, the harder they’ll fall.
It is unknown if he has powers that exist beyond those gifted to him through the Jury.
Katelyn the Fire Fist
Katelyn was sent to the Guard Academy after an “incident” per Lord Garte’s orders. No one is quite sure where she came from or what this incident was but it's largely thought to have been of a violent nature, something bloodied and bruised, although her early life is largely a mystery and she changes the story each time she’s asked. She was exceptional at the academy, a prodigy in combat, but after many disciplinary actions and detentions, Katelyn was expelled due to “excessive violence” and declared unfit to be a Guard. Was placed in the Jury Reserves, where she stayed until a member of the Jury had a more than suspicious death and she rose the ranks per Lord Garte’s orders. She stands as the youngest appointed Juror in recorded Ru’an.
Specializes in hand to hand combat and wields weighted adamantine gauntlets brazened with wyvern claws. Katelyn has magic that exists outside of her Jury powers, she’s a half-witch with a blood magic known as dragon's fire, which gives her the ability to use the fire of a wyvern while being virtually fireproof herself. She is not a traditional witch and cannot be taught any other spells or enchantments, all spells cast from her hands will always fail.
Her Jury power is that of absolute agility, possessing limitless agility, with her balance, bodily coordination, speed, reflexes and strength transcending virtually all other beings. With this power, time moves far slower to Katelyn and she has the endurance to keep it up for prolonged periods of time- no one has ever outpaced her in a fight.
Has a quick temper and doesn't work well with others, easily angered and her fire often burns too hot for her own good, oftentimes more than a little too eager to start a fight.
Lillian the Phantom Sword
Raised in Nahakara Village alongside her cousin Ivy, Lillian became a guard through traditional means. She went to the guard academy when she became of age and excelled in her studies, graduated top of her class and made high Jury List. Served as a guard in her home of Nahakara Village, where she remained second in command until Ivy finished her own guard training.
Lillian became cursed by unknown means while exploring the enchanted forest with Ivy, resulting in her reflection gaining a consciousness and a life of her own. Hears her reflection talking to her, telling her to kill and destroy, overall not good things. She ignored it for as long as she could before eventually stepping down as head guard to seek out someone who could help. She finds Zane, who's idea of helping is bringing the reflection to the physical world and combining the real Lillian with the reflection. The two can switch fronts at will, but the reflection is always in charge, she is always in control in the back of Lillian's mind talking and telling her what to do. Lillian is but a vessel for her reflection.
She wields a simple guards sword without her shield, believing it to be too bulky in combat. Lillian is an expert level swordsman, the above average guard will not win, fighting with her is often thought to resemble a dance with her graceful movements. Her Jury power is that of illusions, she can conjure things out of shadow and mist, make people see things that aren't there. Her powers are significantly stronger and her illusions far more believable when her reflection is casting them.
The reflection is forever grateful to Zane for freeing her and giving her the control and strength over a physical body, she'll obey his every order, she is indebted to him. The reflection of Lillian is his most loyal guard.
Ivy the Venom Scythe
Raised by her cousin Lillian's parents in Naharaka Village, Ivy never cared to be a guard, she was content with her own devices, researching and experimenting with her poisons and potions. Ivy was always in and out of trouble, always some misfortunate adventure she roped Lillian into, who more often than not got them out of said trouble. She joined the guard academy after much convincing from her cousin, her havoc showed no mercy to the school and although she graduated on the Jury List it was not without a few official warnings on her record.
Joined the ranks as a guard of Naharaka with her cousin, was difficult to work with and a shitty guard, always skipping patrol to continue with her experiments. Lillian was more often than not the one who got in trouble for Ivy’s disservice to the guard code, she was the one who encouraged her to be something she’s not after all. Was formally reprimanded and assigned her second strike to her guard record after being caught lacing her sword with poison. After Lillian was cursed and fled from her duties, Ivy left also and joined the Jury Reserves in O'khasis where she was assigned to a Jurors Team and allowed to experiment with her poisons and venoms as she saw fit. Was later appointed to the Jury through traditional means after a member stepped down.
She wields a large poison laced scythe, leaning very far into her self-assigned grim reaper motif. Her Jury powers are similar to a curse, she has the ability to take the life force of anything she touches, her body acts as a poison and she can spread that poison to others. This has an effect on anything living, ranging from plants to animals she can turn anything to dust and bones. She possesses immunity to all poisons, venoms and toxins and has a vast and incomprehensible knowledge on anything relating to such topics.
Ivy’s a wild card, someone Zane can’t easily control. They don't exactly see eye to eye but Ivy is here for a good time not a long time so she’ll do whatever he asks of her as long as it’s not boring.
Jeffory the Golden Heart
Became a member of the Jury through traditional means. Went to the guard academy to learn to protect others, excellent guard, the Golden Boy of the academy in the years he attended, perfect record and perfect marks, graduated early and managed to land a spot on the Jury list. Went back to guard his home in Skysted before transferring to O’khasis per Garte’s request, became head guard and general of the O’khasis military after a few years of service.
He's a brave soldier, loyal and kind hearted. His devotion to those he loves and the people he has to protect knows no bounds. Jeffory is the people's soldier, everyone adores him, the Golden Boy of O’khasis. After one of the Jury of Nine stood down to retire, Jeffory was given the mantle.
Fights with a very untrational choice of weapon, and his mastery of the glaive is something short of a marvel. He’s a flashy fighter, eager to show his skills and yet he is kind all the while. His Jury powers are simple and often overlooked, he possesses the ability of imprisonment, allowing him to create a barrier that can capture and imprison humans, creatures, anything, with little hope or no chance to escape. (functions similarly to the golden lasso from the original series) Although he uses this as more of a pocket realm, like a mythical handbag to store things in. He has no magic or other powers outside of his Juror title.
Knows that the Jury is corrupt and he worries he’s starting to become just like the others, he fears the day he’ll be just as bloodthirsty, just as power hungry. He’s concerned that the Jeffory that he has become has lost his heart of gold, and it scares him.
Ivan the Hallowed
Warlock hailing from a small mountain village, Ivan got into a lot of trouble with his magic as a kid, always felt as though he had to prove something, as if the world owed him a great debt. The Village sent him away to train as a guard in an attempt to keep him out of trouble and his head out of his magic books, believing they knew what was best for him. Ivan wasn’t a particularly great guard, unpopular and unskilled in the protecting front, but he seemed to make up for it with his fighting. After his training he was assigned to the Village of Pikoro, where he continued with his magic studies- the village was often known for its distast and distrust of magic, he was exiled shortly after his arrival.
Was offered the position of Jury member by Zane, even without making the Jury List post graduation. The High Priest was enamored with his ability to cast complicated spells, he had seen nothing quite like it, he wanted to study it, cultivate it as his own. Ivan’s magic is strong, impressively so. One of the brightest spell casters Ru’an has seen in centuries, although his magic is volatile and unstable: this instability seems to be his driving force, his bragging point as his spells don’t have to adhere to the normal laws of magic.
He seemed to have gained no excess powers after obtaining the title of Juror. He’s the most recent addition, so he feels like he has something to prove that makes him dangerous. Doesn’t take orders well and tends to do his own thing. Zane only keeps Ivan around out of his usefulness, once it has expired it’s not unlikely Ivan will as well.
Ein the Beast Slayer
Abandoned and taken in by a tribe of werewolves, Ein was raised and trained by the creatures of the moon as one of their own. Until a violent incident with a rival pack resulted in his adoptive family banishing him, afraid of his strength. They feared that which was stronger than them, the things they couldn't control. He joined the guard academy, he held the vengeful desire to become stronger. Graduating with decorated honors and a position fairly high on the Jury list, he took a position in a Village close to his old home. Early into his guard career, Ein slaughtered the werewolves from his pack, the ones that took him in as their own, raised him, betrayed him. He made them understand true strength, gave them a real reason to fear him. He now wears the skull and fur of the alpha werewolf.
Ein went on to kill nearly hundreds of werewolves, bringing their population to such a decline it caught the attention of The High Priest, Zane Ro’meave. Zane heard of his deeds and sought him out, mysteriously, a member of the Jury resigned and Ein took their place.
His Jury powers are a curse, it’s a blood beastman curse that allows him the ability to shapeshift into any animal that he’s consumed the blood of. It is unknown if this trick will work for humans. His weapon of choice is a battle ax, although he often prefers to do Zane's dirty work as one of the beasts in his collection. Ein loves the chase, he lives for the kill.
Teony the Bright Blade
Became a member of the Jury through traditional means, raised in the village of BrightPort Teony joined the Guard Academy and excelled in her studies. Often referred to as the brightest mind of her generation. Graduated with high honors, Jury List and signed to the Jury Reserves, where she swore her allegiance to the O'khasis Guard. Served as second in command of the O’khasis Military, until becoming a member of the Jury of Nine alongside Jeffory the Golden Heart, the two were given their titles during the same ceremony.
Teony has immense skill over any and all weapons, she has a mastery of the craft of fighting.
Her Jury power is a summons- she can conjure weapons, knights, animals, most anything she needs out of light. These beings hold no physical form in the hands of others, weapons will disappear if she is not the wielder and the animals will vanish if they are cut through.
No one outside of the Jury has ever bested her in a battle of skill, she is the expert amongst experts, specialist in all weapons and can summon any of her choosing to wield. She is noble and strong, like Jeffory she is a true guard, her loyalty knows no bounds. And similarly, she often fears she is doing the wrong thing, helping the wrong people. Her oath to the Guard code outweighs her oath to Lord Garte, her nobility will always come first, her duty is to save people and protect, where there is darkness she shall be the light. Just like Jeffory, her heart of gold will be her downfall.
#i actually love the jury and i wish jess didnt write them off#they were gassed up to be these powerful guards and then they were never actually used#i like putting teony and ein in the jury to fill the ranks#from a writers perspective they can provide easy plot point and interactions between existing characters#and their personalities arent new as most viewers know them from mystreet and pdh#im making up the jurys powers as i go tbh#this is all just nonsense#lillians powers are based off football and bmo im being so dead ass#i changed her title because we already had silver and scythe in other names so hers felt boring#also in rebirth she sadly has a sword#love fire user katelyn shes my pookie#aphmau#minecraft diaries#mcd#mcd rewrite#jo9#jury of nine#zane romeave#zane ro'meave#janus the silver death#katelyn the firefist#lillian the silver scythe#ivy the venom scythe#jeffory the golden heart#ivan mcd#ivan aphmau#ein aphmau#aphmau ein#aphmau teony#teony aphmau

Les Misérables 90/365 -Victor Hugo
81
“Fate had these turns; the throne of the world was expected; it was Saint Helena that was seen.”p.222 If Blucher’s lieutenant advised to debouch above Frischement instead of below Plancenoit, Napoleon might have won. Bulow was delayed and arrived mid-morning, if he arrived earlier, he would have fallen and Napoleon won. Later the divisions debouched from the forest and Plancenoit was aflame.
82
The French drove back, English resumed offensive and breached the French army. At eight in the evening the clouds finally parted the English hurled forward in final carnage. the Imperial Guard was losing ground.
83
The army yielded on all sides, a cry of save yourselves and the army disbanded. In Ohain Napoleon erected walls from what was left of the Guard. He charged into the Prussian army and it massacres those in between. The village entrance was barricaded but of the Prussian volley Lobou was taken, Blucher ordered extermination and disgraced himself. “The victory was completed by the assassination of the vanquished”p.225 (he made a bad moved by killing those that are captured or surrendered) Those that conquered Europe fell to earth, the nineteenth century hinged on Waterloo, the disappearance of a great man necessary to advance the great century.
84
The Guard held until night the regiment broken up died alone at twilight, English general Colville called for the French to surrender and Combronne said shit. (allegedly)
85
Willing to die is the same as to die, Napoleon did not win at Waterloo. The winner was Combronne who conquered as each army relied on another, Combronne knew there was falsehood in the catastrophe, they ground the Imperial Guard and crushed Napoleon. Combronne remains and will protest, the victory counts none victorious, he hurls at the past in the name of the Revolution, after Combronne’s response the English had a reply, fire! The Guard was now dead.
86
Waterloo is an enigma to those that fought and reports a catastrophe of human genius and divine chance, even historians are dazzled by the outcome. “In this event, stamped with superhuman necessities, the part played by men amounts to nothing.”p.228 England Germany France elevated civilization not aggrandized at Waterloo. “It is only barbarous people who undergo rapid growth after a victory.”p.228 (bet he’d have a lot to say about WWII) A battle lost offers more progress, more liberty with less glory. Waterloo was a lottery of chances, a battle of first order won by a captain of the second, is a trophy is to be given it’s to the English. The encounter at Waterloo, a marvelous cleverness of chance, a cataclysm but now it resembles all plains but at night the battle continues in the mist with phantoms.
87
Waterloo is a counter-revolutionary victory Europe against France; order was the result of Waterloo. Napoleon overthrew thrones afterwards, the revolution of Progress, Tomorrow. Waterloo cut short Europe’s demolition and caused revolutionary work to go in another direction. “The sinister victory was vanquished by liberty.”p.231
88
With the end of the dictatorship the European system crumbled and expired as Rome. Louis XVIII reentered Paris, Austerlitz was antiquated, Europe adopted the white cockade, Trestaillon was celebrated a red house stood where the Imperial Guard once did and marble now erected over the remains of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. (they had a whole revolution and executed the royalty to only invite them back a revolution always ends back where you started) Kings resumed thrones, Europe’s master put in a cage, old regimes become the new. Something enormous remained after Napoleon was gone and kings took up the void Europe reconstructed. The Congress of Vienna made treaties in 1815 and called it a Restoration, that is Waterloo. What does it matter to the infinite all that war for peace.
89
After the last cannon shot was fired the plan was deserted, the English occupied the French encampment and the Prussians pushed forward. Who soils triumph to strip bodies after battle, philosophers affirm it is those that made their glory. “The hero of the day is the vampire of the night.”p.233 Though we don’t believe the one who killed has the right to rob the body. “One thing is certain: that generally after conquerors follow thieves.”p.233 (insert commentary about profiting from death here)
The soldiers loved Tourenne because he allowed this pillaging, the others had stragglers as well. At midnight one walked over Ohain came to rifle Waterloo, in the distance the English camp was audible. Hougomont and La Haie-Sainte continued to burn along the horizon. To live a life and then be crushed by men and horse, that disaster was silent now and the blood ran to Nivelles. The prowler was heading towards Genappe and saw a gold ring on a finger. He took the arm and dragged the man across the field before stripping him of valuables when the officer woke. He asks who won, the English and the prowler pretended to pat the officer’s pockets to tell him he had already been robbed. Before the prowler left, he tells officer Pontmercy his name is Thenardier. (all of that just to tells us how crappy Waterloo was how Europe coped after name dropping Pontmercy and enforce how much of a rat bastard Thenardier is)
BOOK SECOND THE SHIP ORION
90
Valjean was recaptured and it was summarized in two articles on July 25 1823. How he became Madeliene and mayor, his discovery before being recommitted, he withdrew a half million he acquired through legitimate means and has concealed it before going to Toulon. The second article mentioned Fantine’s death and after three days on the run was captured in Paris. He didn't defend himself and was given the death penalty and refused appeal though the king reduced it to life. Now Valjean was called 9430 and the town he built that deserted him also fell with power vacuums and abandonment and hatred. “the market diminished, for lack of orders; salaries were reduced, the workshops stood still, bankruptcy arrived. And then there was nothing more for the poor. All had vanished.”p.238 (they shunned the golden goose and went into ruin)

okay but what if ofmd au where blackbeard and the gentleman pirate are two rival pirate captains who have been terrorizing the seas for over a decade and everyone thinks they hate each other but the truth is that they've never actually met before, not face to face
they mostly just stay out of each other's way because they don't really have any reason to fight
they do compete, though, to see who can do the craziest shit or raid the most merchant ships, etc
the two captains are complete opposites - blackbeard is loud and brash and wants everyone to know who he is. his jolly roger is recognized by everyone and people can recognize him on sight.
the gentleman pirate however is a complete enigma. few people even know what he looks like, and his crew doesn't even have a proper jolly roger, just different flags that they seem to swap out from time to time depending on their captain's whims.
and then one day edward and his crew are in the republic of pirates and edward's getting drinks at some random dive bar when the most beautiful man he's ever seen walks in and takes a seat at the bar, and what's edward supposed to do? not flirt with this super well dressed stranger who should probably look out of place in a seedy little bar like this but who seems to command the entire room with an enviable ease?
so edward walks up to him and starts using his best lines and the man looks startled when he realizes just whose attention he's caught. he flounders for a few moments before finding his footing, and then he starts flirting back, which edward is absolutely delighted by. they pass the night in easy conversation, edward finds out the guy's name is stede bonnet and that he and his crew are at the island to let off some steam. the two of them share stories long into the night, with edward getting steadily more and more drunk as time goes on.
by the time the bar closes, he's too drunk to remember where their ship is, so stede takes him back to the revenge to sleep off the alcohol. he passes out on the way there.
the rest of the crew is surprised to see a drunk blackbeard come back with their captain. wee john asks if this is when they finally kill the bastard and defeat his crew once and for all.
stede is apalled, saying that they will do no such thing and that if anyone so much as lays a hand on edward while he's on the revenge (except in self-defense), stede will not be mad at them, he will simply be very very disappointed. the crew start shuffling around nervously and pouting as they agree not to attack him.
edward is delighted when he wakes up next to the beautiful guy from the bar the next morning, though decidedly less delighted that he doesn't remember the doubtless mindblowing sex they must have had.
when stede tells him, deadpan, that they haven't had sex (yet), edward is suddenly very enthused as he starts making plans.
before he gets very far, stede has breakfast brought in for them by his suspicious-looking chef, and then afterwards he gives edward a tour of his ship, during which edward meets the rest of his wary crewmates. he can't exactly blame them - not a lot of pirates would be happy about having the blackbeard on their ship.
it's nearing the end of the tour when suddenly he hears a commotion on deck, and the sound of cannons firing. when edward and stede go up on deck, they see the queen anne's revenge closing in on them quick, with izzy at the prow like an avenging angel.
"what the fuck is he doing?" edward grumbles to himself. "this isn't the first time i've spent the night in another pirate's bed. why is he so fucking worked up this time? i can take care of myself. i'm motherfucking blackbeard."
and it's at this point that stede just kinda laughs awkwardly and doesn't answer.
edward jumps up onto the railing of the ship, waving his arms and yelling at izzy to stop fucking firing on the ship, and eventually his first mate seems to get the message.
when they're within hearing range, edward yells over at izzy, asking what the fuck he thinks he's doing.
"I'm here to save you, you fucking twat!" izzy yells back.
"I was just about to get into stede's pants, man! you totally ruined the mood and blew my chances!" edward complains. "What the fuck made you think i needed saving!?"
"i don't know, maybe the note that we got from the fucking Gentleman Pirate telling us that he had you on his ship!?" izzy yells back.
edward draws up short. he turns to gape at stede, who is laughing guiltily and looking anywhere but at edward.
"uhhh, surprise?" he says after a few minutes of awkward silence.
somehow, edward finds himself even more turned on to find out that stede isn't just a beautiful face, but someone who can stand on equal footing with him.
edward turns towards the queen anne and yells at izzy, "get the fuck out of here, iz! i don't need your help, stede's been nothing but a gentleman! if he wanted me to be dead, he sure as shit wouldn't have had to bring me back here, so stop being such a worrywart!"
and then, without any further ceremony, edward grabs stede by the hand and drags him back to the captain's quarters.
as soon as the door closes behind them, edward has stede slammed up against it, kissing him like his life depends on it.

Dinosaur Tank
Image © Tsubaraya Studios, accessed at the Ultraman Wiki here
[The 700 Kilometer Run! is one of the worst episodes of Ultraseven. The aliens have no personalities and the plot makes no sense. One of the characters, Amagi, is suddenly deathly afraid of explosives, which is a problem because the team transporting a deadly explosive cross country under the cover of a motorcycle race. This despite the fact that the character had been shown blithely setting and detonating charges like three episodes previously, and the fear is never brought up before or after this episode. And the “plan” to “cure” his phobia is basically to traumatize him into thinking he’s about to die in a fiery explosion, only he doesn’t. It’s terrible. And then, with five minutes left in the episode and the aliens seemingly defeated, they unleash their secret weapon: Dinosaur Tank! And suddenly it’s still stupid, but much more charming. A legless dinosaur bolted to a tank is the exact kind of creature design you’d expect a creative eight year old to come up with, and his fight is one of the better ones in the series.
Although Dinosaur Tank never appeared in any Ultra TV series since then, he’s a common presence in the tie-in video games. Probably because he’s easy to render. My statistics are a hybrid between the giganotosaurus and the annihilator robot. The biggest addition was the trip/crushing trample combo, which is based on his tactics in the TV show. I was somewhat vague about his origins in the flavor text below, because I try to keep that Pathfinder Lite. In Paizo’s canon, I’d say that Dinosaur Tank was built by the crew of the Divinity (or their mad AI Unity), using a dinosaur collected from Castrovel. He’d make an excellent bonus boss for the Iron Gods campaign.]
Dinosaur Tank CR 20 LE Magical Beast This creature resembles a great carnivorous dinosaur riding atop some mechanical conveyance. It has no legs, merely a grid of metallic panels where its hips should be, fusing it to its metal lower half.
Dinosaur Tank is something of an enigma. Created generations ago using robotics to augment a giant dinosaur, Dinosaur Tank combines prehistoric savagery with futuristic technology. He has little personality or purpose aside from killing, but is capable of entering a period of dormancy when his cruel masters have no need for his services. Dinosaur Tank might be able to eventually escape from bondage and strike out on his own, but countless years of conditioning and cruelty have warped his rudimentary intelligence and left him truly evil.
In combat, Dinosaur Tank combines crushing blows with his natural weapons with fire from three cannons fitted to his wheeled chassis. He can also fire plasma beams from his eyes, and uses these to soften up enemies at a distance. Something of a sadist, his favorite strategy is to knock enemies over with his tail, and then run them down under his treads when they try to get back up. Brave to the point of self-destruction, Dinosaur Tank only retreats from the field of battle if ordered to.

He gains a +4 racial bonus on all saving throws against death effects and mind-influencing effects. He also gains bonus hit points as a construct of his size. Dinosaur Tank is treated as both a magical beast and a construct for the purposes of spells and effects that rely on creature type. Crushing Trample (Ex) Dinosaur Tank deals double damage to prone foes using his trample ability. Stability (Ex) Dinosaur Tank gains a +4 racial bonus to his CMD against forced movement as long as he is on solid ground. Suppressing Fire (Ex) As a standard action, Dinosaur Tank may use his chain guns to make a single chain gun attack against all enemies in a 120 foot cone.

I'm new to the danny Phandom and i was wondering if you could give me some pointers to navigate? General vibe of the phandom? Do we acknowledge the movie thing and all "secret identity/revealed" fics take place in that nebulous space before the movie or does it not exit and we don't talk abt it
(2/2) follow up to my previous ask, i've really only seen canon from stove-is-on-fire and the associated fic
Stove is certainly a good place to start! Their art is so nice. Canon is dead to us anyway.
But? Movie? What are you talking about?
More seriously, most of us like to pretend Phantom Planet doesn’t exist. 99% of DP phanphic should be tagged cannon divergence just for that, but... we don’t. Actually, come to think of it, I'm not sure I’ve ever actually seen a phic get tagged with canon divergence. The most I’ve seen is just the alternate universe tag.
Going backwards, I’d say our general vibe is pretty friendly. At least here on tumblr. I don’t think I’ve ever really seen someone being outright mean before and I’ve been here a couple of years. Even though we have a lot of fanon, we’re pretty accepting and respectful of all headcanons. There’s very little we take as actually absolute. I mean, we’re split on whether Danny’s alive, dead, half-dead (whatever that means), or simply dead inside, like every other teen.
But we’re also sort of high-key lawful-chaotic. As in, we currently have a planned, scheduled, sh*tposting contest which takes place behind a virtual Denny’s. With brackets. If it happens this year, it’ll be the third year.
Further evidence: The only discourse we regularly have is food discourse. Occasionally we will make parody blogs to impersonate each other. We trend every year on the anniversary of the first episode air date because of the Dannypocalypse (aka we paste a cursed screenshot of Danny’s face onto everything). We phrequently replace leading ‘f’s with ‘ph’s (I started doing this as a joke, but sometimes I read a word and can’t tell the difference).
Speaking of events, we have a lot. Currently, we’re in the midst of our Secret Santa event, which we call either the Christmas Truce or the Holiday Truce after a in-universe event in the show. I think the next big event is the Phight Club (aforementioned sh*tposting contest), then we have the Phic Phight (we split into teams and write phanphic at each other to see who can do the most), the Dannypocalypse, Dannymay (month-long prompt calendar challenge), and Ectober (another prompt calendar, but there are like three of them done by three different people; the one I do is the one week one). Occasionally someone will make a new one out of nowhere, but I believe that all of these have taken place at least twice and their creators/hosts are still active.
Blogs you should check out:
@lexosaurus: Unofficial cult leader. Cause of most phandom chaos, but also highly involved in planning events. Blog is made of jokes. Phics are high-grade angst. Truly, an enigma.
@reallydumbdannyphantomaus: Also called Bug. Not 100% sure why. The source of many jokes. Exactly What It Says On The Tin.
@ceciliaspen: Exceptional art. Mostly DP, but her OCs and original comic look great.
@coffeecakecafe: Same. Her headcanons and redesigns are super cool, too.
@gally-hin-phantom: Nice, soft, cute art. Also runs the @danphan-trading-board.
@ecto-american: Involved in a lot of phandom events. Excellent phics.
@bibliophilea: Just... Super nice? Is one of the Phic Phight mods.
@dannyphandump: This is Tali. Seems to be involved in everything, somehow. I see them all the time.
@kinglazrus: Everyone’s aunt.
@guardianrex: Curates cool meta, headcanon, and speculation posts.
@dp-marvel94: Good running library of phics. Also has some super cool phics about the Danny clones.
There are others I should probably tag, but this is who I can think of at the moment.
I hope this helps! Welcome to the phandom! You aren’t getting back out.

Local Man Gives His Thoughts About His Favorite Streamer/Character
I like what's going on.
I'm liking what cc!Wilbur is doing.
I like the mystery and the confusion and contradictions that come with c!Wilbur. It gives the sense that 13 years in near-total isolation has spat back out a man who is very disconnected from everything, including himself. It turns him into something odd. Displaced.
C!Wilbur has turned into an idea of himself... in my perceptions.
He's ambitious as ever. Forward, blunt, and upholding a schooled face. He shows what he needs to of his hand and keeps the rest close to his chest.
And yet he seems very... nebulous. Quick to change his tune on a dime. Pushing, but then hands-off. Expressive, but then reserved. Hating, but then loving. He's so quick to sway and mould and fire in any given direction. His emotions are left on a double-jointed pendulum, flipping and flinging about every which way.
And for all of this, there's this feeling that he is lying through his teeth, at least to me. It feels like not a word of truth ever leaves his mouth.
Cc!Wilbur has crafted this enigma that I can't solve. Not even a section of it.
I don't know who c!Wilbur will be in this story, or if he'll even go anywhere. Is he the villain? Is he on the way to redemption? Is he really anything he says he is?
And honestly, this ambiguity is quite wonderful.
As Quackity said, Wilbur is unpredictable. He's a loose cannon, firing at will. His danger doesn't come from being a master manipulator or being charismatic. It comes from his snap decisions. It comes from the way no one knows what the fuck he's doing.
It'll be interesting. There's a tension building with c!Wilbur that feels ready to snap at any second. There's a second shoe hanging on a thread, waiting to drop. He's raring to go and it feels like any moment he'll finally set off, and by that point, it'll be too late.
And I can't wait to see where this crazy son of a bitch is gonna end up.
#wilbur soot#c!wilbur#dream smp analysis#dsmp analysis#dream smp#dsmp#do I know why I wrote this?#No#But I do know writing this helped me sort out what I was even thinking#But yeah uuuuuh just my thoughts I guess

You are lucky some types of torture are legal, i now will have an anxiety attack looking at the sky
So here we are... The Ultima Weapon will almost certainly be housed in the depths of the complex. This is it, my friend! Gaius! Ah, Cid, my boy... You are late. There is something I always meant to tell you, yet the time never seemed right. It concerns your father. ...What of him? In the winter of his years, Midas came to abhor his part in Meteor. He told me that he wanted nothing more than to wash his hands of the whole sordid business. But he did not wash his hands of it. He helmed the project until the day it killed him! Come now, Cid... you must know that he did not have the luxury of choice. By the time he realized his error, it was too late. Meteor had him completely in its thrall. Shortly before his... transformation, mayhap sensing that something was amiss, your father confided to me all the regrets of his life. Most of them concerned you. Early on in your career, he realized that while you had a talent for devising armaments, it would never fulfil you. Long before you knew your own mind, he saw that you would be far happier using your knowledge for peaceful purposes, and the thought touched him. He was a changed man for it, though he could not let it show. You blew holes in this place just so you could say this to me!? What is it you want, Gaius!? I want you at my side, Cid. Take up your father’s mantle, and become the Empire’s lead engineer. It is your destiny. My father had a change of heart - you said so yourself! Besides, I have long known my destiny, and I assure you, it lies not with the Empire! A pity. And what of you, adventurer? Will you not consider making common cause with me? No? And I can expect no better answer than this? So be it. It was your strength that made me proffer my hand in friendship, and it is your strength that makes me proffer now my blade. Save as an ally, you are too dangerous to be let to remain. Run, Cid. Or stay. It makes no matter. You cannot escape the past. Gaius, wait! ...Damn it! Knowing Gaius, he is headed for the Ultima Weapon. If we find him, so too will we find our quarry. With these instruments, we can monitor every nook and cranny in the castrum. I think it’s time we divided our forces. Pray go on and give chase. I’ll track your movements from here and guide you through the complex. We’ll stay in contact via linkpearl. Be careful, all right? Ah, there she is! I trust you recognize our old friend. “Maggie,” was it? They must have shipped her here from Centri. Considering all she’s been through, it’s a wonder she’s still operational. Tough old girl! Now that you’re suitably armed, you can blast open that bulkhead. The external walkway will take you back there. Follow it till you come upon a way down to the lower level. That bulkhead is composed of a special alloy. Extremely tough. Ordinary fire won’t leave a mark, I’m afraid. You’ll need to divert all power to the magitek cannon, as I did so memorably once before. As you may recall, the armor’s core is like to expire from the strain, but there’s no help for it if we want to press on. Now, listen well. Press...<buzzzzzz>...the control...<fizzzzzz>...engage ancillary...then fire away. Don’t mind the warning lights. You’re a natural at this! All right, the way’s clear, but it’s just you and your own two feet now, so be careful. You have been leaving a fine mess in your wake, adventurer. Is someone there!? Garlond, old friend. How it warms the heart to hear your voice again after all these years. ...Nero? Is that you!? You sound well. It would seem this savage land agrees with you. The highest ranking tribunus of the XIVth... It was you all this time? Tell me, Garlond. How long do you intend to keep all the glory for yourself? Uh...what? You’ve lost me. Don’t play the fool with me. Ever since the Academy, I have been condemned to live in your shadow. By all objective measure, I was the more talented of the two of us, yet that fate counted for naught beside your privileged birth. You were admired as the young prodigy simply because your father was the great Midas nan Garlond! When you defected, I felt sure my star would finally rise... But by disappearing, you acquired the status of a legend - your reputed genius gaining credence merely by dint of your absence! Instead of cursing you for a traitor, the people actually came to think of you more fondly! To this day, you are still the young prodigy of magitek! I, meanwhile, have ever been made to feel second-rate - I who have continued to serve our nation faithfully. Whenever I fail to excel - why, it is only to be expected! Yet when I exceed all reasonable expectations, people proclaim that I walk in the footsteps of the great Cid nan bloody Garlond! Nero, I... I don’t know what to say. It matters not a whit what I achieve. Your existence has rendered mine worthless. Even Lord van Baelsar saw fit to offer you a place at his side - and this in spite of your betrayal! Did he extend any such offer to me - the man who has remained loyal to him for all these years? Why, no. He did not. Long have I endured this injustice...but no more. Lord van Baelsar is in the midst of activating the fully powered Ultima Weapon. It is my magnum opus - the creation that will win me the recognition I am due. I will not let anyone interfere. Nero! What are you-!? Ever since I first set foot in this benighted land, I have watched you - ever move you have made, every step you have taken. You have felled eikons, a feat made possible by the Echo, a peculiar power which shields you from their corrupting influence. It is of little wonder that my lord has taken an interest in you. As have I, if truth be told. It is my desire to harness your power for use in the Ultima Weapon. Should I succeed, Lord van Baelsar will surely take notice! Beside this, Garlond’s achievements will be as child’s play! Come, adventurer, and yield to me the secrets of your power! This changes...nothing... Ahahahaha! The Ultima Weapon is activated, and it brims with the power of eikons! Nothing can withstand its might! Are you all right!? What of Nero!? ...Fled!? Damn it! In the instant prior to the blackout, the instruments detected a massive power surge from the deepest chamber. Gaius is certain to be there! We have no time to waste! Word arrived from the Alliance a short while ago. It seems the Order of the Twin Adder has completed its blockade of Castrum Centri. What hands they can spare are hastening this way even as we speak, and likewise for the Maelstrom. All that’s left is to destroy the Ultima Weapon! ...I should warn you: the chamber which houses the target appears to be saturated with aetheric energies. There’s bound to be heavy interference. But even if we lose contact, you must go on. Just don’t do anything I wouldn’t do, all right? Look for the lift’s control panel - it’ll be somewhere nearby. Take the lift down, and you should find yourself in the chamber of the Ultima Weapon. Keep your eyes peeled - Gaius could be waiting for you down there. Oh, and don’t even think about dying. You’re too bloody useful! The interference is getting worse. I don’t think the connection will last much - Tell me...for whom do you fight? Hmph! How very glib. And do you believe in Eorzea? Eorzea’s unity is forged of falsehoods. Its city-states are built on deceit. And its faith is an instrument of deception. It is naught but a cobweb of lies. To believe in Eorzea is to believe in nothing. In Eorzea, the beast tribes often summon gods to fight in their stead - though your comrades only rarely respond in kind. Which is strange, is it not? Are the “Twelve” otherwise engaged? I was given to understand they were your protectors. If you truly believe them your guardians, why do you not repeat the trick that served you so well at Carteneau, and call them down? They will answer - so long as you lavish them with crystals and gorge them on aether. Your gods are no different from those of the beasts - eikons every one. Accept but this, and you will see how Eorzea’s faith is bleeding the land dry. Nor is this unknown to your masters. Which prompts the question: why do they cling to these false deities? What drives even men of learning - even the great Louisoix - to grovel at their feet? The answer? Your masters lack the strength to do otherwise! For the world of man to mean anything, man must own the world. To this end, he hath fought ever to raise himself through conflict - to grow rich through conquest. And when the dust of battle settles, it is ever the strong who dictate the fate of the weak. Knowing this, but a single path is open to the impotent ruler - that of false worship. A path which leads to enervation and death. Only a man of power can rightly steer the course of civilization. And in this land of creeping mendacity, that one truth will prove its salvation. Come, champion of Eorzea, face me! Your defeat shall serve as proof of my readiness to rule! It is only right that I should take your realm. For none among you has the power to stop me! I had not thought to be so hard-pressed. Your strength is...most impressive. Such power befits a ruler! Yet you lack the resolve to put it to proper use. A waste. Allow me, then, hero, to do that which you will not! Bear witness to the true power of the Ultima Weapon! But the Ultima Weapon is all-powerful! Why does my enemy still stand!? Can her strength truly be so great? It is the blessing of Light that confounds you. Lahabrea. Your foe acts under the protection of the Crystal she bears. So, this is what empowers her. Beyond mortal limits. If you are to prevail, the hammer of Darkness must needs be brought to bear upon the shield of Light. And so it shall, for the Ultima Weapon is host to a power of which you are as yet ignorant. Speak plainly, Ascian. The Heart of Sabik. It is the Weapon’s core - an enigma whose surface even the vaunted scholars of ancient Allag failed to scratch. The magic within has lain dormant for eons. Of what magic do you speak? A spell without parallel. Ultima. I sought the life force of the primals for no other reason but to quicken the core. For the true power of the Ultima Weapon lies within its now-beating Heart! Lahabrea... What have you done? No more than was necessary...for my god to be reborn. Damn you, Ascian! The hour is at hand! Behold but a sliver of my god’s power! And from the deepest pit of the seven hells to the very pinnacle of the heavens, the world shall tremble! Unleash Ultima! Ahahahahahaha! Such devastation... This was not my intention... Oh, Hydaelyn...it seems the task of keeping your champion alive has exhausted what strength you had left. Van Baelsar... Your enemy’s shield is broken. The rest I leave to you. We will speak later, Ascian. But first, I must deal with you. The question of who is mightier remains! Come, adventurer! Let us find the answer together! No... No, no, NO! Uh! Heed me... The subjects of a weak ruler must needs look to a higher power for providence... and their dependence comes at a cost to the realm. The misguided elevate the frail... And the frail lead the people astray. Unless a man of power wrests control...the cycle will never be broken. You... You of all people must see the truth in this. You who have the strength to rule... Pathetic. You boasted of unrivaled power. You were entrusted with the ultimate weapon. The ultimate magic! And still you failed. So much for the glory of man. The growing imbalance afflicting the planet must be redressed. If it is permitted to worsen, the very laws of existence - both aetheric and physical - will be warped beyond all recognition. Know you the root of this corruption? Hydaelyn! Like a parasite, she must be burned out if the planet is to recover. And naught but the return of the one true god will ensure her complete excision. Yet to pave the way for the master’s return, a chaotic confluence of untold proportions must needs be brought about. And that will necessitate the presence of the primals. needless to say, both you and your Scion accomplices can not be suffered to interfere in this endeavor. You will not leave this place alive. It is past time your flame was extinguished...“Bringer of Light.” If thou wouldst pierce the shadows...make thee a blade of Light. What!? The Light...it binds them... They are too many!
Aaaaaaaaarrrgh!!!

OptimalOmnimon by nigel5469
Overview: OptimalOmnimon is the Mega-Level and the Hybrid-Combiner Form of Optimus Prime, TransMechanoid, WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon due to the power of Omnitrix Uprade, Digidestined's Digivice of Courage and Friendship, and also Nexus Prime's Relic - Enigma of Combination.
Details: Digimon was one of my favorite show franchise when I was a kid, and most favorite shows are Digimon Adventure (1999), its sequels - 02 and Last Kizuna Evolution, Digimon Tamers, Digimon Data Squad, Digimon Fusion and now the rebooted Digimon Adventure 2020. While I still watching the 2020 TV Series and also writing the fanfiction stories and designing some artworks, I get some crazy inspiration idea from three shows - crossover between Ben 10 True Omniverse,Transformers Prime and Digimon Adventure 2020. And of course, I recalled the fanfiction involved of Transformers G1 and Digimon Tames crossover in Transformers Film Plot Line, which also inspire me the idea of crossover as well. Best idea I ever come up with!
Inspired by MegaGravezord from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Boom Studio Comic) and Optimus Prime Super Mode from Transformers Armada, I decided to draw something crazy and unexpectedness - combining Ben 10's TransMechanoid, Optimus Prime and Omnimon into one powerful being. To design such crazy artwork, it has proven to be most challenging and trickiest artwork I ever face but eventually, I've managed to overcome it.
The whole body is completely based on Omnimon's body designs, but I replaced the whole body with Optimus Prime as the torso and head while Ben 10's TransMechanoid as the lower torso and legs. But of course, I added Omnimon's parts on them such as horns on his helmet, lower torso and feet's sharped toe nails-like. I added the blue shoulder pads on both WarGreymon's Brave Shield and MetalGarurumon's Spike. Interestingly, I combined the symbol of Crest of Courage-Friendship with Omnitrix, which is now completely blue, symbolizing combination and Energon Powers, which are powered up by Digivices and Enigma of Combination. And of course, instead of 'All Delete' in Digicode Font on the sword, I replaced it with 'Prime'.
Have to say, this is the craziest yet awesome design I ever make for three crossover idea in Ben 10 True Omniverse Season 4. How it happen? Time can tell...
Voice Actor: Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime), Kirby Morrow (TransMechanoid), Kyle Hebert (WarGreymon), Kirk Thornton (MetalGarurumon)
Bio: - Gender: Male - Species: Digimon-Cybertronian Hybrid - Homeworld: Unknown - Vehicle Modes: Unknown - Title: Digital Cybertronian Prime, OptimalOmegamon (Japanese Dub) - Level: Mega - Type: Prime - Attribute: Vaccine - Prior Forms: Optimus Prime + TransMechanoid + Omnimon
Ability: Omni Supreme Cannon: Freezes the opponent with frigid, absolute zero shots that it fires from the Garuru Cannon.
Transcendent Prime Sword: Slashes with the Grey Sword. He can even charges the Grey Sword and then cuts definitively.
Double Shot: Annihilates the opponent with successive shots of fire and ice from the WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon heads.
Ultimate Uppercut: Uses the Grey Sword to send the enemy in the air then repeatedly blasts them with the Garuru Cannon.
Sword of Ruin: Rends the air with its Grey Sword to produce a large explosion.
Omni Howling: Attacks with a howl that can shake the world.
Omni Blast: Drops a bolt of lightning on the enemy.
Speed: OptimalOmnimon has the advantages in high speed to move very fast, without his vehicular mode on his side.
Agility: OptimalOmnimon has good stamina and agility to dodge and evade the attacks, blasts and missiles. But depending on how fast and swift he can be, he could hit get hit and blasted by the attacks. He can even jumped up high for the moment.
Wind Elemental: OptimalOmnimon's Wind Elemental is very calm and gentle yet powerful and deadly, depending on his emotion and use of it. He has three attacks. a) Wind Storm: The defense mechanism that allow him to swing and rotated his Prime Grey Sword to blow his enemies away from him, and even blocking their marching and deflecting the attacks as well. b) Cyclone Burst: Powerful special attacks that allow him to devastate and destroy his enemies and weaponry at ease. c) Storm Clash: Offense mechanism that allows him to charge and attack his enemies in high and swift speed to take them down.
Matrix of Digital Light: By using Matrix of Leadership, it will unleash full powerful beam of pure Energon powers in destroying and devastating his enemies, but at cost of his Energon and Powers to maintain his Combiner Form.
Cyber All Delete: Invokes the most dangerous and devastating power from the Grey Sword, so that anything that comes in contact with its edge is not cut, but erased.
Equipment: a) Prime Grey Sword: OptimalOmnimon is equipped with the long metallic Cybertronian Sword from WarGreymon's Head.
b) Wing-Garuru Cannon: OptimalOmnimon is equipped with large yet powerful cannons-like from MetalGarurumon's Head.
c) Brave Shield: OptimalOmnimon is equipped with armored shield to block and deflect the attacks from his enemies during the combat battle.
Weaknesses: Low Energon Fuel: Like any Cybertronians, if he's on low of Energon, he will not able to fire his blasters at his enemies. Worse case - he could either die or entered in stasis mode if he reached zero of his Energon.
Wind Power Down: Should he overuse his Wind Elemental Powers, it will take some time and more Energon to recharge his powers again.
Spark Damage: Should his Spark Chamber take too much of damage or destroyed, he could be revert back to his original forms, stasis mode or killed.
Overuse Power: Using too much on Matrix of Leadership and All Delete Ability, OptimalOmnimon will become exhausted and weakened from loss of Energon and Digital Powers, and unable to continue his fight against the enemies.
Unable to Transform: Due to being a hybrid Combiner of Cybertronian and Digimon, OptimalOmnimon will not able to transform into his vehicular mode.

So, I promised in a previous post that I'd do the Sevii Islands, and here we are. I'm going to go more in depth here since what I'm talking about is WAY less than what I was talking about yesterday.
The Sevii Islands are the third of the 3 explorable regions in gen 3 of pokemon, Hoenn (RSE), Kanto (FrLg), and the Islands (FrLg).
They serve as the post-game area for Fire Red and Leaf Green, with all the fun stuff like a battle tower, cable games, and E-Reader functions. They are also where one can catch the Johto and Hoenn pokemon.
With that out of the way, let's go on
Sevii Islands?
The name "Sevii" is comprised of two parts, Seven (Sev) and VII(vii), which is seven in roman numerals. Obviously, the theme here is the number 7, but...
...as you can see in the HIGHLY unclear image of the official art (sorry, couldn't find a higher resolution) there are actually 9 main Islands, so why 7?
Well, as an old woman NPC on Quest Island (Seven Island) tells you, the islands are named Sevii because they were created in seven days. Nifty.
Knot Island (One Island)
There's not much to explain here, especially because I don't see how any of knot's definitions are relevant to anything that happens on the island.
Perhaps it's an English saying or phrase that involves knots and beginnings?
Boon Island (Two Island)
This one is easy. Boons are gifts; blessings.
The ultimate move tutor lives here (on Cape Brink). The Ultimate Moves (Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon) are boons given to the starters who have a strong bond with their trainer.
There's also the gifts received for winning the cable games at the Game Corner.
I do believe, however, that "Boon" is more relevant to the old lady on Cape Brink (her name is Ultima in the Pokemon Adventures Manga, and in that canon she's good friends with Mr Stone, Drake, and Captain Briney).
Kin Island (Three Island)
One of the best named islands in my opinion.
"Kin" is family, or someone with whom you share a close, strong, bond (not usually of the romantic sort).
In the games, the reason you go to Kin Island is because the Boon Island Game Corner's owner has sent you to look for Lostelle, his daughter; his kin.
Then comes a bit of irony, because when you reach the Island, you find Kantonian Bikers fighting against the Sevii Islanders (this serves as the reminder to the player that the Sevii Islands and Kanto are different regions under the jurisdiction of the same league).
By defeating the Bikers and sending them away, you strengthen the bond between the Sevii Islanders and the remaining Kantonians (not just on Three Island, but on One and Two Islands too). You strengthen their kinship.
Lastly, Three Island is two (fraternal) twin islands joined by Bond Bridge. Kinship, again.
Pretty cool, huh.
Floe Island (Four Island)
This one is also pretty aptly named.
Four Island is the smallest and most isolated of the populated islands, with no routes to speak of.
It also happens to be home to Lorelei, who visits the island on story related business that I'm not interested in discussing.
Fun fact: Lorelei's house is full of pokemon plushies.
And finally, the reason for it's name: it is the only island of the Sevii Islands that has a place cold enough for a substantial amount of ice to form; Icefall Cave.
That's the reason for it's name, really. A floe is a sheet of floating ice, after all.
This also explains Lorelei's type expertise.
The true question is: was Floe Island designed around Lorelei, or was Lorelei designed alongside Floe Island?
Much to think about...
Chrono Island (Five Island)
I feel this one is the island with a name that doesn't entirely make sense.
"Chrono" is a suffix that means "time".
At a glance, there's nothing particularly time-related on this island, especially since IF they were to make Celebi obtainable in this game, it would most likely be an encounter or even on Six Island.
HOWEVER, the island has two locations, Water Labyrinth and Lost Cave, that were designed to be time-consuming. Lost Cave is a maze that punishes unprepared trainers and can be extremely time consuming if one doesn't know what they're doing.
Five Island also houses Resort Gorgeous, where Selphy lives. Once she's been rescued from the Lost Cave, she begins to give the player requests that can be extremely time-consuming.
Anyway, I feel this island is named less because of how the player interacts with it, and more because of the very rich people who live on it and do nothing but waste their time.
Fortune Island (Six Island)
Another island I feel could have been better named.
Six Island is most known for:
1. Being the best(easily-accessible) stargazing spot in the whole of Kanto-Johto-Sevii Islands. I say easily-accessible because Mt Silver probably provides a more magical view on clear nights, but it isn't the easiest place to get to.
2. Having, alongside Seven Island, some of the oldest known structures (not just in Kanto, but in the rest of the world).
As you can see, there's not much fortune to anything on the island.
The only thing that could possible be fortune (and this is a bit of a reach) is how the Altering Cave was originally meant to work (as a place where more pokemon from Johto-Hoenn could be captured).
I think this island should have been called Riddle Island or Enigma Island, because everything seems to have a historical significance (Pattern Bush, Altering Cave, Dotted Hole) but their significance hasn't been puzzled out or found yet.
Quest Island (Seven Island)
This one is pretty straight forward.
It gives the player the whole Treasure Hunter/Adventurer vibe with the Tanoby Key and Tanoby Ruins.
It also gives the player the infinite quest for strength feeling with the Battle Tower.
Navel Rock
Navel's second definition is midpoint; centre.
You could take this literally, as Navel Rock IS at the centre of its portion of the map.
You could also take this in a different way, with Navel Rock being the centre of a whole bunch of Lugia and Ho-Oh myths.
Both could apply.
Birth Island
I'm... not sure. Is this because it's the island where Deoxys(when looked at as a space virus) was "born" to this earth? Mmmm, honestly, I don't know.

Firestar: when she learned she was selected to attend a brand new premier Academy on Cybertron, Firestar was thrilled. When she learned her group of Camien transfer students would include her younger sibling Flareup and be led by her creator Nautica, she was significantly less thrilled. She’s practical and outgoing, if occasionally callous, and had been looking forward to starting something new without the influence of her family. She tries not to associate with them any more than she has to, and her new friendship with her roommates Ariel, Arcee, Chromia, and Moonracer has certainly helps set her apart. At first glance, a size 5 shuttle like her might seem ungainly, but she moves with a careful grace that belies the stereotype of her frame.
Elita 5: when Ariel picked up the Enigma of Combination and shared it with her roommates, Firestar finds herself capable of an upgrade into Elita 5, a formidable bastion of strength named after her desire to live up to her full potential. Alongside the rest of the fivefold Elite Guard, she stands in defense of justice for everyone, from both corruption and catastrophe. Her faction usually works alongside the Autobots, but she would never side with them over her fellow Guardsmecha. Her powers include a sense for her team that lets them work together perfectly, a burning blade called the Omni Saber, the ability to manipulate fire as one of the five Primal elements, access to the Infinite Combinatoric that turns separate mecha into a gestalt individual, and the ability to combine with her teammates to become Elita Infin1te with the Cyber Caliber. Her most common enemy on the battlefield is Triptych, wafting away the flames of Predator’s cannons, and she and Elita 4 join forces to take him down.
It’s the second biggest buffest toughest wife in SNAP! After this I’ve got some more Autobots for y’all...

Process: Start - All Sneaky Like - Dark Tunnel - Don't Split Up - Don't Split Up (At the red and black corridors) - Don't Split Up - Don't Split Up (From the handcuffs).
31) Ending 31 of 31 - Ignorance Is Bliss, wherein we encounter Darkiplier in a white suit talking cryptically, potentially about the Actor, as well as alluding to clues that he has hidden throughout the Heist. Process: Start - All Sneaky Like - Dark Tunnel - Don't Split Up - Don't Split Up (At the red and black corridors) - Split Up.
.....whEW THAT WAS A LOT JEEZ MARK DO YOU NOT SLEEP?!?!?!
Anyway, so now with that broken down with can sort of split them up into how any good and bad endings we have. In terms of ''bad'' I count about 18 which result in either our death, Mark's death, Mark leaving, or memory wiping. In terms of ''good'' endings I count about 8 wherein we either become part of a new community, travel back in time or get treasure. There are a few obscure ones though:
Ending 6 of 31 - The End - This is nice outside of the story's perspective since it contains the series' credits, and some BTS and blooper content, but within the story our memories of the Heist scheme are completely gone. It's an ambiguous ending.
Ending 10 of 31 - Life Sentence - We have a new, apparently happy and loving community in the prison, but it's very clear that to keep that life you have to keep committing crime after crime after crime, including murder, so it's rather mixed.
Ending 19 of 31 - The Enigma of Happy Trails Penitentiary - It seems that we're on the verge of escape, but then we literally have no clue what the outcome is, whether it's good or bad, which presents a mystery of its own.
Ending 25 of 31 - Don't Judge A Book By Its Human Skin Cover - We seem to have a happy life with feral caveman Matpat who provides us with gorgeous food...but where does he get it from? Does he have a human farm in his cavey basement? We may never know.
Ending 31 of 31 - Ignorance Is Bliss - This is one that is clearly out of the linear of the whole thing. Part of me feels that Darkiplier is very much on OUR side, and implying that the Actor is the manipulator of the story we're a part of and that we can't get out of it. Dark seems to want to break in and give us something tangible amidst the storyline of the Heist and so says he's going to seed in messages for us to find - My primary theory on this is that he'd either influenced some of the messages that come at the end of each video, or the little messages in the descriptions of the videos.
HOWEVER
AND HERE'S THE BIG THINGAMAJIG
IF we believe Dark and IF he's alluding to SOMEONE having an enjoyable influence over the way Heist is told....WHO is it? We need to think about whether it's the Actor Asshole Mark we're familiar with that is the manipulator, or is OUR Mark the manipulator? We also need to ask ourselves if our Mark and Actor Mark are two different entities in the fiction, or if Actor suddenly got good at acting and has been pretending to be our nice ''Markiplier' this whole time.
So many questions. When it comes to the video messages themselves though, clearly not al of them are relevant. Here are a few that could be significant though (this is only my personal interpretation, others may be able to read more into the other video messages):
Clever Girl, What Did You Expect?, Time Is On Our Side, It was ME The Whole Time, Not Again..., When Will You Learn, Are You Serious? One More Split Up, Once More, With Feeling and Ignorance Is Bliss.
Clever Girl interests me, because what does it refer to? Does it refer to the boulder? Or are we the viewer, being gendered? Or, is it a homage of respect to Celine in Dark who maybe the Actor realises is intelligent because he knows Dark is infiltrating the Heist? I know that's a long shot, but because that phrase doesn't allude to anything in the video, it very clearly stands out.
With What Did You Expect?, it is a very direct address to the viewer. It may not have much more depth than that but it is a clear indication that there is an outside observer who KNEW the outcome of that part of the story before we did. Only the creator can know that.
Time Is On Our Side is a similarly interesting one because of how it can really bring a link between the timeline issues, fluctuations, and manipulations during the multiple stories in Heist...and the timeline issues across the ENTIRE storyboard that is all these series that Mark has created. ADWM, Markiplier TV, WKM, DAMIEN, now this. That is the order in which they've been presented to us, but the timeline of the stories does not follow that order. We know time is broken, take this story, every individual will have gone through different paths in different orders in different times, a linear timeline doesn't exist here.
What's also intriguing is that time is on someone's side. Who's side? ''Our'' implies a plural, a team, which the Actor is not since as far as we know he's an individual. So maybe the ''Our'' is from Dark to us, saying that we have a common enemy and as long as we keep together and keep perspective and understand the timeline and the LACK of linear time....then it keeps it more in our favour rather than the Actor's.
It was ME The Whole Time is very interesting...because we, the viewer, had a mask on and we were changed into either Bob or Wade in whichever version of the video it was; this title seems more significant. It was ME. Who is me? It's not us the viewer because we've had no control over the creation of the narrative, or is it simply a message saying that there are masks upon masks upon masks on everyone? Is it the Actor? Is it Dark? Is it another? This one is more difficult to interpret.
When it comes to Not Again..., we come back to the timeline of everything. This refers to being abducted by aliens, which we know occurred in ADWM and if Heist is set after, then this makes linear sense and also infers that this is the same Mark from that series coming into this one. However...at ending 6 of 31, The End, before the credits roll...Mark inquires about going on a date with us, which begs the question of whether he's referring to a follow up different date, or whether the timeline is more messed up than we thought.
Now, with When Will You Learn, Are You Serious? One More Split Up and Once More, With Feeling, they are interconnected because they all referencing the series of videos wherein you split up with Mark, of which there are many. Clearly these messages come from someone with an opinion and feeling about our decisions...but the last message particularly brings this all together. It is a phrase that's more like an idiom by this point, because we immediately associate it with actors or acting coaches. Does this mean that the Actor is attempting to coach us as a character of his so that we get his desired story exactly right? That's what it very much looks like, and maybe that's why there are an almost comedic amount of opportunities to split, the Actor was trying to force bad decisions onto us so he could have an excuse to interfere with us an our thinking.
Then there's the big one: Ignorance Is Bliss. This is wholly Dark, and in a way it's him telling us that in fact ignorance is NOT bliss and that we have to be very hyper aware of everything that's going on amidst all of this. Not only does he use a line from one of the video descriptions (from the ''I Know Nothing'' video), but he changes the context of the line. That ''I Know Nothing'' video very much promotes a lack of knowledge as the very best outcome, but Dark contradicts this, and it could be argued that this is Dark directly delivering a counter-attack against the Actor.
Now, titles aside, then there are video descriptions to delve into. I'm not delving into them all or going in gargantuan detail, but I'm going to group a few together and just say what I feel they could be alluding too. Again, these are just more theories and thoughts.
First, description comments that allude to there being an omniscient observer/creator to Heist that ISN'T the viewer or Darkiplier:
Wow...that was WAY sadder than I thought it'd be (Handcuff Split Up vid), I would like to point out for the record that that man is NOT an engineer (Try To Fix video), Aw...but it could have been FUN! Oh wait no...no it couldn't have (Don't Split Up video first occasion), I feel like I've seen this somewhere before... (Split Up video first occasion), Now I'm DEFINATELY sure I've seen this somewhere before!
All of these in some manner allude to there being someone watching who must have been involved in the story creation, because they seemingly are familiar with aspects of the plot before they happen, and even when the first instance of something is happening in the linear story...somehow, they are familiar with it. Also...Mark is referenced as a DIFFERENT person. It's not our Mark whose perspective this is from.
Then, we have some that allude to us the viewer quite personally:
This might be the biggest lapse in judgement I've ever seen from you. And that's saying something! (Dark Tunnel video), Wow...that's uncharacteristically noble of you! (For The Greater Good video), Oh so NOW you decide to be noble! (I'm Hiding Something video), Wow! That's so noble of you! For the record, I would NOT have done the same... (Tell The Truth video).
The speaker is talking like they know us, REALLY know us, and that makes me wonder exactly what or who we are in Heist. Give what happened in WKM, what state are we as the viewer currently in? Do we have a new body? Are we somebody new? Our name is never given so there is that continuation, but the fact that this entity (Actor or Dark, or both) knows us begs the question of our identity at this point in the timeline.
Then, there are some that are just plain suspicious:
Knowledge is power (I Know Everything video), Ignorance is bliss (I Know Nothing video), Never second guess yourself! Even in the face of OVERHWELMING evidence! (Me First video), Hurray! But I can't help feel like we're forgetting something... (Thanks And Also Yes Please video), Never a bad idea to stick to the back up plan (Stick To The Plan video pre-Bob), Always best to have a couple extra back-up plans to the back-up plan (Stick To The Plan video pre-Wade), I'm beginning to think this guy's somewhat of a masochist, eh? (Don't Split up video, at the red and black corridors)
Differentiating Mark from this omniscient narrator, talk or knowledge, ignorance, plans upon plans, second-guessing yourself and evidence...it's all alluding to conspiracy and secrecy which is definitely underlying in this whole story arc, whatever it is. Either way, it's magnificent. The story, feral Matpat, badass Rosanna Pansino, Tyler, Ethan, Amy, Katherine, FRIGGIN @markiplier FRIGGIN EVERYONE WHO WORKED ON THIS it's just...it's so amazing.
Also....we stan Wilford Warfstache's new rainbow suspenders. And that is all, remember that these are just fun ideas inspire by this beautiful project...now I need a nap :D

Assigning JoJo Stands to Class 1B Students
Exactly what it says in the title. Side note before we begin: these Stand matchups are not perfect, nor are they completely based on their Quirks, just what I personally think fits them best. If you have any disagreements or concerns, feel free to send in an ask.
All respective Stands listed will be linked to their wiki page. SPOILERS for JoJo Parts 3-8 below the cut.
Awase Yousetsu - NUT KING CALL
Nut King Call is able to fasten two objects between a nut and a connecting bolt, akin to Awase’s Weld. As an added factor, Nut King Call’s ability to generate and affix nuts and bolts matches Awase’s mechanical aesthetic well.
Kaibara Sen - PURPLE HAZE
Purple Haze is a lethal, indiscriminate Stand that requires a lot of careful control, similar in concept to that of Gyrate, though the latter does not have a toxic aspect to it.
Kamakiri Togaru - CRAZY DIAMOND
Crazy Diamond was chosen because of its high offensive capabilities befitting to that of a close-quarters protagonist Stand.
Kuroiro Shihai - ENIGMA
Though perhaps not an obvious choice, Enigma’s overall versatility and non-fighting ability make it a good match for Kuroiro. The added ‘scaring’ activation method also coincides with Kuroiro’s sneak attacks.
Kendou Itsuka - BORN THIS WAY
Born This Way has a motorbike rider aesthetic, reflecting Kendou’s love for motorcycles. The trigger for the Stand also resembles that of the activation method for Kendou’s Big Fist.
Kodai Yui - LITTLE FEET
Little Feet’s shrinking ability is akin to that of Kodai’s Size Quirk.
Komori Kinoko - CALIFORNIA KING BED
California King Bed seems to be harmless at first, but quickly turns dangerous the more it’s used on someone, just like Komori’s Mushroom spore ability.
Shiozaki Ibara - HERMIT PURPLE
Hermit Purple’s thorny vines are a vital factor on why I picked out this Stand, but I do also enjoy the fact this Stand seeks out the truth and brings it to light— much like Shiozaki herself.
Shishida Jurota - TUBULAR BELLS
Tubular Bells is able to register and track down the smell of an object or person. Shishida is shown to have superior senses, especially that of scent. The Stand in its active form are shaped like different animals, just like Shishida’s Beast Quirk.
Shoda Nirengeki - DIVER DOWN
Diver Down works similarly to that of Shoda’s Twin Impact with its ability to redirect and store attacks.
Tsunotori Pony - TUSK ACT 1
Both horns and nails are made of keratin, and both powers (Horn Cannon and Tusk ACT 1) allow their users to fire their respective body parts.
Tsuburaba Kosei - HARVEST
Not so much related to Tsuburaba’s Quirk as much as his general aesthetic. Harvest is adorable in small numbers, but deadly as a group, just like how Tsuburaba thrives with teamwork.
Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu - WHITE ALBUM
White Album’s ice armor is impervious to bullets and other penetrative substances, and also greatly increases the user’s physical strength. Although not exactly metal, it is a perfect defensive Stand for Tetsutetsu.
Tokage Setsuna - HIGHWAY STAR
Highway Star’s ability to segment itself into multiple thin pieces is a fun twist on Tokage’s Quirk. Its life-stealing ability can also allude to Tokage’s regenerative properties.
Fukidashi Manga - IN A SILENT WAY
In a Silent Way is similar to Echoes ACT 2, which Fukidashi’s Comic is compared to a lot. The only reason I didn’t go with ACT 2 was because it is touch-activated, and Comic does not have that requirement.
Honenuki Juzo - SPICE GIRL
Just like Honenuki’s Softening Quirk, Spice Girl is able to soften any material she touches.
Bondo Kojiro - RATT
Ratt is able to corrode both living and non-living objects into a gelatinous substance that sticks to itself. Though not an exact replica of Bondo’s Quirk, it was the closest canon provided.
Monoma Neito - SURFACE
Since there are no Stand copying abilities as of yet, the closest one was chosen— Surface’s ability to mimick another human being.
Yanagi Reiko - STAR PLATINUM
Star Platinum’s superior reflexes and time-stop could work as an upgrade for Yanagi’s Poltergeist.
Rin Hiryuu - DRAGON’S DREAM
‘Feng shui’ divination and its subsequent luck readings are highly popular concepts in China. This Stand also utilizes martial arts, which Rin seems to engage in judging by his hero costume.
BONUS: Kan Sekijirou / Vlad King - LOVE DELUXE
Love Deluxe is shown to be able to manipulate and restrain enemies using a bodily feature, similar to that of Vlad King’s Blood Control.
