The Prime Wars Trilogy was a series of POORLY made webshows made in a collaboration between Hasbro and Machinima.
It started with "Combiner Wars" (tying into the toyline of the same name), where the Starscream, pretending to be a rehabilitated villain so he can become a Combiner made of Combiners (represented here as a glowing blob of light with a giant Starscream head and four Combiners just sticking to it), and there's absolutely zero character development anywhere. Our main protagonist is Windblade. In most forms of media, Windblade is a deeply spiritual, kindhearted Autobot who would rather not fight but finds herself forced to. Here, she's a bloodthirsty warrior who's every other line is a death threat.
Also, the writers REALLY hate Rodimus Prime.
"Titans Return" (tying into the toyline of the same name) has Starscream's ghost possess Trypticon and go on a REALLY slow walk across the surface of Cybertron and sometimes kill someone. Rodimus Prime, blaming himself for the carnage Starscream apparently unleashed in the last series, gives up the Matrix of Leadership, reverting back to Hot Rod, because the writers want him to know that he's unworthy of leadership. Giving up the Matrix turns out to be the wrong call as well because the writers didn't want him to ever be right.
Titans returns concluded with Metroplex and Trypticon killing each other, and then the Fallen (also known as Megatronus Prime) coming out of nowhere to kill Optimus Prime and reveal that HE was somehow behind all of this all along.
"Power of the Primes" has the heroes scrambling to thwart the Fallen's evil plan. What is his evil plan? Use the Matrix of Leadership, Requiem Blaster, and Enigma of Combination in tandem to drain the Sparks of all Transformers in order to resurrect his dead girlfriend: Solus Prime.
Also, because the writers hate Hot Rod, he gets possessed by Unicron and becomes another villain, even though Unicron has no stake in this plot whatsoever.
In the finale, after Megatronus has personally killed lots of characters, Solus Prime's spirit grabs him and drags him into the afterlife.
Starscream's ghost comes back in the final episode, even though the writers knew there wasn't going to be a fourth installment, in order to tease a sequel the writers KNEW would never be made, implying that everything our heroes sacrificed to get here was for nothing because Starscream is STILL at large to continue terrorizing them for the rest of eternity.
(To make things more frustrating, the Prime Masters who were at the center of the toyline did NOT feature into the web series at all, meaning that we don't get ANY in lore explanation as to whether they're reincarnations of the Original 13 Primes or disguises for them.)
Oh that's a HOT mess.

2, 3,4,5,6,7 for Moni and Retro on the character ask please. i love hearing about your characters
houuhghghjK i will do my best to answer retro's half, though i'll open with some behind the scenes that might shed some clarity on neo-a's weird existence in the real world.
Neo Automisia came about after I'd been playing Moni in a shadowrun living community for like 3 years, and after a point where i decided I wanted to break from that system's lore/canon out of desire to write my own shit and also out of disagreement with a lot of SR's writing- irl i've never really grown up in places or had the same friend groups for more than 3 years at a time, and my experience in making friends has been a series of meetings and farewells since I was little.
Ironically enough this's how a lot of my time playing Moni wound up being- games in the living community were sign-ups as opposed to set player groups and set tables you'd normally expect from a tabletop setting- think billboard with job postings kinda vibes, with things happening during/after/between jobs. As such, at least when it comes to fellow runners/key npcs, I'm doing my best to translate friends characters I've not gotten to really play with/hear from in years- or at least haven't had space TO do things with, life happens/things get busy etc etc you get it. Retro is OracleofMaya's wonderful gremlin, and a lot of my ability to write consistent/in-character dialogue for her comes from the fact that we talked/wrote a LOT over the years and i have an active crush on her/like writing stuff with her u///u
Long lead in over here we go:
It really depends on circumstances for the both of them- they're incredibly awkward and dealing with a lot of baggage individually/mutually, but with the right company they tend to light up. In Moni's case if worst comes to worst, she's anxious enough that even in bad company/bad circumstances she'll still titter out a giggle before realizing this isn't the time nor place.
[DATA EXPUNGED]
From my time playing alongside Retro, it never felt exactly an easy thing to earn her trust; partly due to the fact of her being a technomancer in a world that readily exploits and/or abuses them to the nth degree, and partly due to the fact that a lot of the people she and Moni worked with were either opportunistic or WAY too prone to oversharing critical information. Add [DATA EXPUNGED] to the mix and its really hard to blame her for shutting others down or out but again right company/right circumstances made all the difference in exceptions or changing that.
On Moni's end, her depression and various horribly negative experiences with people she loved or trusted have oriented her, for the most part, not to trust other people- or at least, that's the direction she tries to orient herself toward in some attempt to protect herself, and others from her. That obviously hasn't and doesn't work up to the current point in chapter 3, as Moni is basically an easily excitable puppy in a metahuman's shape.
In Retro's case, extremely- I have zero doubts that had Moni ever not kept self-vigilance up and spilled the beans regarding Retro being a technomancer, Retro WOULD have made good on that promise to fry her brain.
Distrust is fluid for Moni/liable to shift and change with circumstances and her mood- in this case I'm going to opt to make a slight shift and say that, with specific and wrong buttons pushed, it is very, very, very easy to earn a lethal grudge from Moni as opposed to solely distrust.
Both Moni and Retro are not only Nightrunning criminals for hire, but also staunch Anarchists living in the hellscape that is late stage capitalism and continued global warming/corporations having just about zero regulatory oversight or consequence placed on them. Laws on paper are not synonymous with justice or systemic equity, and both growing up in the fringes of the Seattle metroplex 100% plays into how they see the reality of how those laws actually play out in favor of the rich, powerful, and influential.
In the time I played with Oracle, Retro's nostalgia often times followed similar patterns to Moni if that tracks; both of them are rooted through warped sentimentalities and fractured memories for pasts they either can't fully remember, or remember in better contexts and through rose-tinted glasses than honestly- at least for a time. I don't wanna spoil too much in this regard, nor for the more positive ways they hold nostalgia for genuinely nice times/moments, so that's all I'm gonna say.
For Moni: 22. Jealousy is weird for Moni, because it's only really ever happened when Retro had started seeing/dating(?) a magical psychologist character of mine who has a hate boner against moni and vice versa. Moni herself is polyam, pan, and for the most part easygoing when it comes to interpersonal relationships; she doesn't really have explicit desire for material stuff barring cybernetics to cram into her meat suit, or good food tucked in the pockets and hole-in-the-wall joints of wherever she's living. Even in the case of the aforementioned psychologist, the jealousy stemmed more out of her overt fear of a mage who could root through, tweak, or otherwise puppet your brain like a marionette. 23. Envy is also weird- as mentioned the material things she does want are things she has zero problem waiting or saving for, and when it comes to relationships/the relationships of her partners and metamours she's open/patient. But a core piece of Moni I'm in the process of explicitly laying out/continuing to lay out is her absolute impulsiveness- the things that she DOES envy are immaterial and more abstract, in ways that to most would just sound like complete nonissues. It's something yet to be brought up, but Moni genuinely envies her peers and coworkers who have or are working toward a definite retirement plan, or have the intention TO retire because they have something in mind. For Moni at this point, she did not for one second in her career think about what retiring might look like or that she could/should- it was utterly foreign to be asked "what're you going to do after you're done running?", and to look inward only to find an answer along the lines of "what?". She envies people that have desires beyond what's immediately in front of them- not because they have it better, but because for all of her attempts to she can't figure out what she wants- no matter how hard she tries there's something missing that, to her at least, makes her feel like she was never supposed to be metahuman. This's one example but you get the gist, it's wanting to feel like you know where you're going and where you want to go/otherwise self actualize and feeling like you're drowning.

September 30th, 2024 - vivid/stasis, Arcaea
welp, out of work and back to classes for the first monday of the quarter. i woke up pretty early, but all i really did in bed was play Zenless Zone Zero until i got tired of grinding . however, i DID get a sudden burst of motivation to mash keys and play vivid/stasis until it was time for me to leave for the train! and so i did!! but to further train my brain, i played the most gimmicky chart i could think of to really make that key mashing more precise... that being Aleph-0 [MIDDLE 11] and [FINALE 13+] in an attempt to see if it was possible to AC or even AAC!!! result: honestly maybe??? it's really hard to tell now, and i definitely still need a lot more self control and practice and memorization and Everything, but i could actually see this becoming a reality sometime in the near future...
...aaaand SET!! waiting just a bit longer after waking up, it was finally October 1st in Japan, so that means the monthly pass has finally started!!! and thus, i'm free to play ProSeka to my heart's content, right?!?! ...well, i COULD start playing, but i just wasn't feeling the energy or spark... that spark instead being occupied by ARCAEA!!!! I LOVE ARCAEA!!!! and i love this all-new PM i got on Mazy Metroplex (FTR-9+, MAX-43 (yikes)) that i got as FTR PM #199!!! just one more left!!! ohyeah, i also tried to upscore Stasis on the way to university and somehow got off the train with this insane upscore to a 993 EX+??? practice truly does make (almost) perfect...

Fake friends on weekends killing me slowly, getting back the time and love that I owed me. Finally getting good at letting go, mastering the art of how to be alone.
This has been quite the week. Once the work trips fall apart, they all seem to fall apart.
Wednesday ended up being "A Day" at my favorite bakery so I left a little earlier than usual to take a detour to get my free pie. It was worth it, even though I didn't realize I had a fork and literally had to fold the pie like a taco to eat it.
I made it to yoga, which was nice. My friends there were trying to be helpful by offering suggestions on places to move. I told them that I was supposed to be moving into an apartment next week but decided not to take it. I feel at peace with that decision.
After yoga, I rushed over to Students. It's sad to think that the school year is winding down and we only have a few weeks left. We're planning on having a summer itinerary though so that we can get together often.
That night at work ended up being a long one. We were supposed to go to San Antonio and boarded the flight, taxied out, and then had to go back to the gate due to the weather en route to San Antonio. Once we were back at the gate, the pilots called out fatigued since the fight got delayed until 5am. All of the routes to SAT were closed. We tried to call out fatigued, too, but they threatened us with zero pay and missed trips. Instead, they sent us to the hotel for a couple of hours. We had to Uber there and back and of course, they set it up that the Uber dropped us off at the training center and not the hotel so it was a long walk. By the time I got to my room, I had less than two hours to nap before getting back up at 3:40am to get ready, head back to the airport, and work the SAT turn. We got back late on Thursday, which was also pretty crappy.
Thursday night I wanted to call out from work but went since I was flying with friends. Everything went relatively smoothly and I made it to yoga on Friday afternoon. It was just what I needed.
Friday night turned out somewhat okay and Saturday morning I napped for a very short time before pulling myself off of my couch to go to slow flow yoga. I left there dripping in sweat and so exhausted but thought I'd try to go to Central Market and Trader Joe's but neither was a success since the crowds all came out and the parking was limited. I ended up going home and hanging out until it was time to go back to work.
I thought for sure we were going to cancel last night because they reassigned our pilots and had to find us new ones. The new ones were super close to going illegal so I wasn't sure that we would get out on time given the storms and the ramp being closed. We made it to Oklahoma City anyway, though it was later than planned, which also meant less sleep.
I can't tell you have relieved I was to get home this morning and know that I'm off for the night. I had every intention of going to church in Fort Worth but I was too tired to get up from my nap until the afternoon when I decided to run a few errands in town.
It's weird that it's Cinco de Mayo and I'm completely sober. I remember so many Cinco de Mayos before wanting to get a margarita all day. Back in 2015, I was a new hire flight attendant on reserve, calling scheduling every hour to ask if they'd release me so I could go to the Mexican restaurant next to my apartment to get a margarita. Even though this year is very different, I still might grab a margarita after yoga tonight.
This month marks one year since I moved across the metroplex. It honestly feels like it has been the longest year. It has been filled with a lot of good but also a lot of bad.
I remember going to my first yoga classes in Fort Worth and being that new person who knew no one and for the first few months, the instructors didn’t even know my name. I felt like I just couldn’t find my groove or fit in anywhere. I didn’t feel at home at all.
For most of last summer, I spent Tuesday through Thursday back in my old town, mainly so I could go to my yoga classes. I’d drop my dogs off at their sitter on Tuesdays and then live like a homeless person until Thursday afternoon. I’d go to yoga at noon on Tuesday, spend my afternoon running errands, going to appointments, and working from coffee shops. I’d fly on Tuesday nights and then make my way back there Wednesday for another yoga class and eventually Students in the evenings when school was back in session. I’d fly Wednesday nights, too, and then Thursday I’d go to one last class before picking up my dogs and heading home.
It was really rough living that life and now I can’t even imagine how I ever did that because lately I come home from work and crash on my couch for a good chunk of the day between trips. I’m working more than I’ve worked in years and it is really draining me. A friend sent me a meme a few years ago, back when I worked a lot, and it said something like, “My mom said I need to find a rich man. I said, ‘Mom, I am a rich man!’” Life would definitely be better and easier if we finally got our new contract, a raise, and some retro pay, but whether we do or we don’t, my goal is to try to earn 6 figures this year and if I keep flying as much as I am right now, that very well might be possible.
I’m learning to make the best out of every situation and appreciate the things I have. I think that a lot of times, we don’t realize what we have until it’s too late. I’m learning to work with what I have to reach my goals even if other things in my life don’t improve.
It has been almost 2 years since I lost Dan and rereading some of his texts now makes me realize all the things I wish I had now, are all the things I had when he was alive. I wanted someone to fight for me and believe in fixing things instead of walking away. I wanted someone to feel like I was the best thing that ever happened to them. Shortly after he passed away, I made a little video since there was a text message trend going on. I'll share it here:
Reading over Dan's old texts made me realize that at one point, we switched roles. Dan went from being the avoidant to being the anxious one. In our relationship, long before all of these texts, and in my relationships since, Dan sounded like me. All the things he said to me are things I've said to guys I've had in my life since. He never wanted to let me go a day without knowing how he felt about me, and it means so much to me to look back on all of that now and know that at one point in my life, there was a guy who thought the world of me and loved me despite my flaws.
These last few months have allowed me a lot of time to shift my focus. I've been working more, making more money, prioritizing my health/fitness, trying to make new friends and maintain friendships with old ones, spending time with family, and really learning more about myself and what I want in my life. I've also had the opportunity to spend more time with God, reading my devotionals and praying for guidance.
When we drove home from Oklahoma a few weekends ago, my friend Nancy made me realize that it's ok to take a pause and enjoy being single and not dating right now. I'm getting the opportunity to self-reflect and realign my priorities. It's ok to put yourself first and do what makes you happy. I'm ok right now pausing dating and pausing my move to be able to work on other more important things. With God, anything is possible and sometimes, you just need to let go and let God.
xoxo
Annie

Looking at current radar and satellite trends mixed with current mesoanalysis data, the complex across North Texas is stabilizing the air across the Southern parts of Oklahoma with widespread anvil rain. The severe threat here seems lower through much of the rest of the day, though some large hail reports are possible as a couple of lightning strikes can be noted in recent scans in southern Oklahoma. Any cells that can take shape here will likely be rooted just above the surface.
The storms in Texas will be capable of damaging winds and large hail. With storm mode more linear, the tornado threat is lower but not zero. This is especially true as low-level shear ramps up in the next couple of hours. The DFW metroplex is right in the path of these cells.
The front will eventually see some storms form along it, but instability here is weaker, and the air ahead of the front is in the process of being worked over by ongoing anvil shield rain. Large hail will be the primary threat here.

Almost done?
The bots (Transformers toys) I know I want to keep are at least now all labeled and in some type of storage containers.
A few are on display in my office room as well.
But there's this ugly pile of robot carcasses and (not in picture, under the chair I'm standing on to get photo) a box of random parts and missiles that I don't have identified.
Is there even a market for parts? I mean I see sales, but I don't know if anyone ever buys them.
I don't feel like I really condensed or downsized the collection much, yet. Instead of two bins there's 4 bins (on not even half full) plus a box.
I also want to know if it's possible to repair some, like Metroplex (or bots with the bad backstrut, like Mirage) or is the idea we just buy a new version?
But, I'm zero income right now.
(Not the point of this post, but ideas for that??)
progress
I've continued working on condensing the Transformers collection.
To reiterate this isn't all of them. A few still live on shelves. There's a whole separate bin for Bot-shots and whatever those Not-Matchbox TF cars are called.
I got the Seeker bin sorted and moved about five of those Cyberverse/Earthspark fidget toys (affectionate) into a diorama. (Also a broken alt-mode-only Scalpel lives nearby. Can we just have a little Scalpel figurine that sits on other bots' shoulders? Does that exist?)
A Slipstream from another universe attends Starscream's coronation for some reason. (The difference between those two toys!)
Yesterday, I got the Armada toys that belonged to my younger brother sorted and in a box (which my nephews decorated at some point).
But there's still so much stuff on this tarp.
I think to fit, the Soundwaves will have to share the bin with the Seekers.
There's a bin I'm in the progress of sorting. I discovered that when family last visited a bunch of bots were not tansf- err, converted to their most compact form before they were put in the bin. But that one is an assortment of G1 survivors and some Movie bots and like whoever is not a Seeker, Soundwave or robot referred to as she.
I really need another bin. The gals were in a cardboard tray thingie, but they outgrew it. (It's great we have enough lady bots to now argue over what terms to refer to them by. )
I may need to try selling a few. Not so much to make money (I probably wouldn't) but more to just to pass some on without myself needing to have money for shipping (I don't).
Is there even any avenue or community for restoration? I know customization and painting is a little bit a thing.
Like is there even a responsible way to dispose of 40-ish year old broken toys?

there’s a severe weather threat in the metroplex this afternoon so i decided what better day to marie kondo my life and living space? i have too much stuff and have been wanting to do a deep clean and get rid of a bunch of stuff i have that just takes up space and makes my living area feel cluttered.
i have a history of storm anxiety, especially tornados since I live in Texas, but doing this is helping me focus on taking control of my life where I’m able to and accepting that nature is something i have zero control over. I’ve prepared my shelter in place area for a tornado the best I can, and knowing i’m doing everything i can to be safe and prepared already makes me feel more at ease.
A philosophy i’ve been working on practicing is letting go of my feelings of fear and panic for situations outside of my control. When i think of worst-case-scenario situations, i think of how i can make myself both as safe as I can, and as calm and peaceful as possible. The reason is, as morbid as it sounds, i don’t want my last thoughts and feelings before death to be of fear and pain. I want to relax and understand that I did all that i could and everything else is out of my hands so i might as well occupy myself with things that make me happy.

Did Sixshot die after being smashed by Metroplex? If he didn't, what happened to him?
Dear Sixshot Searcher,
It may sound redundant to say "Sixshot survived", but he did. Heavily damaged, he lurched into the air in pursuit of the escaping Throttlebots. Furious in apparent defeat, he used his last resort, the rarely-seen lethal Wingwolf mode. He caught up to their shuttle and began to chew it to pieces. Fortunately for the Throttlebots, the shuttle contained a prototype Pathblaster, and Goldbug stared down the beast, blasting him off of the hull.
Sixshot, now in critical condition, had completely lost control in his rocketing and guidance system, and drifted semi-consciously a great distance before crashing into a metallic asteroid. As he wondered if this were the end, he slowly felt strength returning to him. Standing, he even felt re-energized. But as soon as he realized this, he saw Deathbringer and the Reapers standing before him, demanding that he join them once again. He did not ask how they survived or how they found him, only giving them a glorious battle. Eventually Sixshot bested them all. Feeling even stronger, he was attacked from behind: it was Black Shadow! As he engaged his fellow Phase Sixer in battle, Overlord joined the fray—and soon, even Megatron arrived.
In the eye of the storm of the battle, Sixshot wondered how this was possible. Out of the corner of his optic, he saw a dilapidated laboratory emitting a warning: "Ward Zero: EMERGENCY. Failsafe telepath life support critical." Sixshot did not understand the message and kept fighting.
He fought thousands of foes for thousands of years, even improvising new alt-modes over time. Eventually, the fragment of Mederi that he'd crashed upon was fully drained of energy, and Sixshot, feeling satisfied in his need for unlimited combat, now succumbed to his final wish: a good death.

Dark Cybertron Chapter 3: This One’s All About Skywarp. Honest!
It’s a beautiful day during Cybertron’s apocalypse, and Starscream is talking to a corpse to work through his emotions. He goes through a very brief rundown of what happened last issue, I guess because Swerve’s too busy being in space to do the Story So Far, and caps it off with an apology to Metalhawk over killing him. Rattrap watches this go down in the background, because this is Skywarp’s toy tie-in issue.
After this very incriminating conversation, Starscream goes out to see to the massive crowd standing outside, including Scoops’ little Targetmaster buddies.
I don’t care for that man’s beard.
Starscream promises to go talk to the Titan, though he really doesn’t want to, and Rattrap catches up to him to touch base. The two of them go to see Megatron, who’s still trapped in the forcefield hamster ball Wheeljack stuffed inside his chest back in RID. Starscream teases Rattrap about trying to be conniving, comparing it to his own endeavors as the Decepticon SIC, and offers a bit of advice.
Implying that Starscream hasn’t been flying by the seat of his proverbial pants since he became a main character in Phase Two.
Starscream, having met his daily quota of rubbing his success in Megatron’s face, goes off to see what he can do about this Titan situation.
Over at the Titan itself, the Autobots and Decepticons are duking it out, with the man of the hour gracing us with his presence.
Outstanding, you funky little robot.
Arcee tries a little banter, but it falls flat, and instead she just decides to sword fight a cat. Bumblebee asks Soundwave just what the hell he thinks he’s doing, and Soundwave gives a complete non-answer in the form of Decepticon propaganda, because anything else would make things too easy. This is where Starscream shows up and has his little chat with the Titan.
Back over in prison, Rattrap’s getting the skinny on the dark prophecy Scoop introduced into the narrative last issue. Rattrap wants to know just how this information got passed around so well outside of jail, and Scoop suggests that there are people who perhaps have a vetted interest in what may or may not be happening with Starscream. Then Rattrap makes it weird by A) not being terribly concerned about the potential end of the world and B) being impressed by the idea that Starscream somehow planned said end of the world.
This Skywarp issue is really good.
Over with the Lost Light, Ultra Magnus has taken command, and the lads are about to make the quantum jump to chase after Jhiaxus. But wait! Something’s off! The ship’s moving in a way that it shouldn’t be! Very odd, that. Brainstorm calls with answers, asking Magnus to grab Getaway, for some friggin’ reason, and head down to the shuttle bay.
Getaway asks Magnus how it feels to be big man on campus, and Magnus seems to think it’s a bit overrated.
Wow, someone needs to go talk to Xaaron about maybe thinking through his debate topics before he posts them, so he doesn’t get pegged as a space racist. The Universal Killswitch happened, like, last week, my dude.
The two of them get to the shuttle bay to discover that Metroplex’s thumb- which they picked up back in Spotlight: Trailcutter- is floating, and more or less pushing the Lost Light off-course. Getaway is pretty jazzed to see this thing on the ship, sort of missing the bigger picture. Brainstorm hypothesizes that Metroplex is using his severed thumb to guide the Lost Light to him.
Not sure why Getaway needed to be here for this.
Back on Cybertron, Everyone watches as Starscream flies up to the Titan. Arcee is ready to blast him out of the sky with a gun as big as she is, but Bumblebee wants to see where this goes. This pisses Prowl the hell off, and he starts yelling, but Bumblebee tells him to shut up. Bumblebee tells a lot of people to shut up in “Dark Cybertron”.
So we’ve got a team-up going on between the Autobots and the Decepticons- Bumblebee says it isn’t, but it pretty much is. Soundwave and Prowl get into a bit of a scuff, as Starscream lands and asks the Titan to chat.
Yeah, that doesn’t really work out too well.
Starscream manages to escape the Titan death blast in his alt, as the poor bastards on the ground below begin to dissolve into black fizz.
But Skywarp’s okay, so it can’t be all bad!
Yeeeeah, Skywarp.
Prowl starts yelling at Bumblebee again, as if he can’t see that the friggin’ death wave the Titan shot out of its face is still heading for Iacon, Starscream just barely managing to stay ahead of it. He lands as it hits, screaming about how Cybertron is his and he’s not gonna let some murder energy to steal his thunder, bracing his arms out as if that’ll do anything. Everyone watching him do this has about the expression you’d expect from witnessing such madness.
As the Iaconian populace gets dusted, someone else wakes up from the dead. It’s Metalhawk, and it’s time for him to become a tool of the narrative.
Metalhawk launches into the air and lands on top of Starscream, interrupting his personal diatribe to gripe about how he killed him. Still, there are bigger fish to fry, as he kicks Starscream through a wall and walks into the room where they keep Megatron.
Metalhawk releases Megatron from his hamster ball prison and carries him away, despite Starscream maybe insinuating that Megatron is dead somehow? It’s not super clear. Anyway, Metalhawk must do some pretty intense arm exercises, because he carries Megatron out and shoots into the air, holding him one-handed to his side.
Eat your veggies, kids, and you too can kidnap an entire warlord.
As the city falls apart, Rattrap and Scoop enter the scene, the prison likely having collapsed in the aftershocks of the death wave. Good thing they’re giant robots who can’t be killed by mere crushing damage. Rattrap tries to connive, but Scoop is more concerned with the fact that many people are dying, because he’s a somewhat decent person. Some of these people have begun to turn on Starscream, who takes it about as well be you’d expect.
Back on the Lost Light, the lads have decided to go find Metroplex, and to hell with bringing Jhiaxus to justice. At least for now. Of course, Ratchet tries to argue that they should do what Orion wanted them to do, but Orion isn’t here right now, is he? And Orion isn’t the space pope at this present time, now is he? So yeah. Metroplex time. They quantum jump, ending up underwater, with said water swarming with robots. That might be an issue, especially since they don’t seem to be terribly friendly.
Back in the Crystal City with Shockwave, Metalhawk’s dropped off the package, and Shockwave reminds us that he installed a space bridge in Megatron’s torso. Scientists sure do like to shove random bullshit into Megatron’s torso.
Hey.
Let’s talk about the NAILs for a second.
This is Tappet. I’ve been calling him Hat Guy up until this point, but his name is Tappet.
Everything Tappet done in the last 20+ issues of RID can be explained without him being the subject of the sentence:
The Decepticons kicked Tappet’s ass. Prowl sent Tappet to prison. Metalhawk bailed Tappet out of prison. Metalhawk brought Sky-Byte to the trashcan fire to talk to Tappet and some other neutrals. Starscream takes off his top as Tappet watches.
The point I’m trying to make here is that Tappet doesn’t actually do anything. None of the NAILs actually do anything, other than die and fill out crowd shots. Sometimes they bitch about the current situation, but even then, a lot of the time, those more vocal NAILs were actually involved in the war at some point.
This is an issue, because we’ve been presented with this entirely new group that’s in direct opposition of the war caused by every character we’d met prior to The Death of Optimus Prime.
And they have zero agency within the story. Shit just happens around them and they react. In fact, one of the major point points of RID is whether or not the Autobots should let the NAILs have agency within the very government that rules them, and it is such a point of contention that it takes literal in-story months and several disasters for them to reach a consensus. A decision that barely involves input from Metalhawk, the guy who is a NAIL, and is meant to be their advocate. Metalhawk, who is supposed to be on the same level as Bumblebee in terms of sway in the narrative.
At first, he did- he was the subtly conniving bastard who would trip Bumblebee up in front of others to make him look bad, and then deny anything of the sort happened if questioned. It was an interesting dynamic with a character that was new to the continuity. Metalhawk was interesting.
Then Starscream got involved, and Metalhawk’s role was reduced to yes-man and character motivation to both of them, because conniving is Starscream’s thing, and obviously we can’t have two bastards gang up on poor, sweet lil’ Bumblebee.
Who had a remote control that could blow up people’s heads if they pissed him off.
You remember when Bumblebee was the kid appeal character? Because I do.
The point is, the NAILs exist, but their existence isn’t justified within the story. They’re set-dressing, not characters. And now Metalhawk in particular is a prop for Shockwave, and somehow I doubt the other guys are going to be doing a hell of a lot in this story.
I dunno, it just seems like a bit of a waste.
Anyway, Skywarp sure was present in his toy tie-in issue, huh? Remember when he did that thing? And the stuff? Ah man, that was so cool!
Yeah, someone probably crossed their I’s and dotted their T’s on this one, because I’m pretty friggin’ sure this wasn’t meant to be his, even if the exclusive cover says otherwise.

Ooooo, enhanced (orange) severe weather threat today around here.
It's so fucked up that I am excited, but I am excited.
I've included today's convective outlook from the Storm Prediction Center below. I've made a few notes, these can be found in [brackets] within the text, and also included a link to the Mesoscale Discussion for Tornado Watch 116.
SPC AC 281246
Day 1 Convective Outlook
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
0746 AM CDT Wed Apr 28 2021
Valid 281300Z - 291200Z
...THERE IS AN ENHANCED RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER PARTS OF SOUTHWEST TO NORTH-CENTRAL TEXAS...
...THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS SURROUNDING THE ENHANCED RISK
...AND ALSO OVER PARTS OF THE LOWER GREAT LAKES REGION...
...SUMMARY...
Severe thunderstorms are possible across parts of the southern plains to southwest Texas this afternoon and evening. Other severe storms may develop in parts of the lower Great Lakes region. In both areas, the most intense thunderstorms may produce large hail and wind damage. A tornado threat also may develop in the southern plains and southwest Texas.
...Synopsis...
A synoptic-scale split-flow pattern will dominate mid/upper levels over most of the CONUS, with a through-cutting northern stream from the Canadian Rockies across the northern Plains, Great Lakes and Northeast. A strong, positively tilted trough is evident from the central High Plains through a cyclone over AZ and across central Baja. The cyclone should shift eastward to eastern NM and far west TX through the period, with the trough extending from KS across northwestern MX. Downstream, a shortwave trough -- apparent in moisture-channel imagery over the upper Mississippi Valley region -- will cross the upper Great Lakes region through midday, penetrating the mean ridge, then crossing the lower Great Lakes and northern/inland Mid-Atlantic midday through afternoon, with some deamplification.
At the surface, 11Z analysis showed weak lows near BGM, MKG and RFD, along a wavy/quasistationary frontal zone. A cold front extended from the northern IL low across northern MO, south-central KS, the TX Panhandle, and central NM. A dryline extended from the front over the Panhandle southward across the Permian Basin to eastern Big Bend region. That segment of the front from MO across the southern plains is forecast to make a net southeastward shift through the period, while moving more slowly/erratically east of the Mississippi River. By 00Z [7 PM CDT], the front should be located across western NY, the Lake Erie area, northern portions of IN/IL, western MO, southwestern OK, and the Permian Basin region. From north-south, the front will slowly overtake both the dryline and a prefrontal convective boundary discussed below.
...Southern Plains to Southwest TX...
A broken and episodic belt of thunderstorms is expected through much of the period from the Ozarks region across OK to southwest TX. See tornado watch 116 and latest mesoscale discussion (446 at outlook time) for near-term guidance.
The greatest overall severe threat and most-favorable parameter space should develop this afternoon and evening from north TX to the Rio Grande Valley near DRT. In that corridor, a few tornadoes are possible, along with large hail and damaging winds. Some of the hail be significant (2 inches or larger diameter), especially in the Rio Grande to southern Hill Country area, where very deep, well- organized supercells are possible with hailstones to near 4 inches in diameter.
An outflow/convergence boundary, much of which still had reinforcing convection to its west, was analyzed from northwestern AR across east-central/south-central OK and north-central TX (west of the Metroplex [Dallas-Fort Worth and surrounding counties]), north of SJT and near OZA and 6R6. Some westward/northwestward retreat of the activity/outflow boundary is probable today, especially during mesoscale spatiotemporal lulls in convection to its west. Increasing large-scale ascent and mass response to the approaching mid/upper cyclone indicate an enhanced severe threat today across this region -- both near the boundary and with more unconditional potential for late-afternoon/evening supercell development moving out of the Serranias del Burro region and across the Rio Grande. Low-level lift and vorticity should be maximized near the boundary, locally enlarging hodographs within an already favorable broader-scale CAPE/shear regime for supercells. Diurnal heating along and east of the boundary, rich low-level moisture (surface dew points commonly upper 60s to low 70s F and 1.5- to 2-inch PW), and steep midlevel lapse rates, will support MLCAPE from 1500-2500 J/kg over north TX to 22000-3000 J/kg over the Hill Country and Rio Grande -- all amidst 50-60-kt effective-shear magnitudes. Though with weaker moisture and deep shear, steep midlevel lapse rates and at least marginal CAPE will support severe hail and perhaps gusts or a tornado possible this afternoon and evening with convection developing on either side of the cold front (west of the warm-sector boundary activity) over OK and northwest TX.
...Lower Great Lakes region...
Widely scattered to scattered thunderstorms should develop this afternoon and this evening along and south of the front, offering sporadic large hail and damaging gusts. The deep-layer environment should destabilize and become buoyant fairly rapidly during midday and into the afternoon as these processes occur essentially simultaneously:
1. Moisture/theta-e advection from the southwest and west-southwest, contributing to surface dew points increasing into the 50s to locally near 60 F;
2. Increasing large-scale ascent and lapse rates aloft ahead of the approaching Great Lakes mid/upper perturbation;
3. Diurnal heating and related steepening of boundary-layer lapse rates. Some mixing associated with this process may offset moist advection enough to slow the dew-point increase; still, MLCINH still should be reduced to near zero in much of the area such that only weak lift from the front, lake boundaries or orographic forcing will be needed to initiate convection.
Accordingly modified model soundings indicate a deeply buoyant layer with 500-1200 J/kg peak/preconvective MLCAPE. A dominant westerly surface component will limit low-level shear and keep hodographs small, though mid/upper-level winds will be strong enough to support effective-shear magnitudes commonly in the 35-45-kt range. This will support mixed modes, with multicells, a few supercells and small bows possible. The threat should wane during mid/late evening as nocturnal cooling/low-level stabilization offset advective processes in reducing buoyancy.
...Mid Mississippi Valley/lower Ohio Valley...
Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop predominantly south of the front through the evening hours, offering at least a marginal damaging-gust and large-hail threat. A tornado cannot be ruled out as well, with storm- to mesobeta-scale processes being the maindeterminant. This activity will be supported by a broad plume of low-level warm and moist advection, and diurnally weakened MLCINH in preconvective areas, away from the northeastern rim of the southern plains EML. Surface dewpoints in the 60s F already are common across this corridor and should remain so, supporting areas of 1000-1500 J/kg MLCAPE -- locally/briefly higher this afternoon. 40-50-kt effective-shear magnitudes should become common as the buoyant layer deepens into stronger flow aloft.
Parts of this region my realize a greater severe threat than the "marginal" probabilities currently depicted, conditional on sufficient organization and upscale/cold-pool growth of any thunderstorm clusters that can develop. If so, unconditional wind probabilities in particular may need a boost in a succeeding update, as mesoscale convective/environmental trends warrant.

Borderlands 3 Farmable Bosses and Their Legendary Drop Guide
Bosses and Loot Pools Like in previous Borderlands games, the Bosses in Borderlands 3 also have a unique legendary item assigned to them. Since Bosses respawn, they are farmable. The great thing about Borderlands 3 is that there is a checkpoint before each boss. This makes farming bosses less tedious as you can spawn just outside their doorstep when you want to defeat that boss again. Just simply go in the menu, save&quit, and hop back into the game. That checkpoint will now function as a spawn point. So you don’t have to run through entire dungeons anymore in order to farm bosses.
