I finally have some free time to draw sketches and tell you about my headcannons with (young) Harvey and Dr. Stone!! 💥💥

The first headcanon: Harvey really likes to touch Stone's funny sticking-out hair with his antennae (I have no idea what to call it lol). OF COURSE, Dr. Stone gets angry, and Harvey just giggles and watches him—

The second headcanon: I thought it would be funny if Dr. Stone had (and maybe still has) a secret hobby of collecting minerals and stones. it's pretty funny that a sullen and angry dude collects and examines all sorts of stones, and then writes something in his book, muttering something under his nose. if Harvey somehow found out about his husband's hobby, he could throw him beautiful stones while he was going somewhere.

The third headcanon: Harvey loves hugging Dr. Stone very much, when he does this, this old fart immediately starts to get angry and swear, but after 15-20 minutes calms down and falls asleep. maybe Harvey does this on purpose so that his husband at least sometimes gets a full sleep

It is Wednesday my dudes, and I'm having persian rice cookies. I went with Fard rice cookies for these. I'm just going to say that this company's name sounds a bit funny to the English speaking ear and leave it there.

These are soft, dry, and a bit crumbly. The flavor is fairly plain and mildly sweet. These don't do too much for me, but definitely aren't bad at all. They do dunk well.

Bethany's Bizarre Miraculous Reviews: The Miraculous Movie

It was really good! Not as many fard jokes as I expected, although Marinette's singing voice did shock me. Cristina Vee is known for her singing, after all. Nooroo's voice also felt off to me. The Love Square romance here was great, not unhealthy or anything, DJWifi felt more in-place here, Chloe was genuinely sinister and competent, and Hawkmoth and his akumas were amazing! His musical number is definitely my favorite. Also the animation was great! The characters looked far better than in the show (they were kinda uncanny and hard for me to look at, honestly,) Paris looked actually like Paris, and I'm excited to see more of it in season 6!

day 7 of shidding n farding about endhawks:

i mainly wanna shine a spotlight on the voice acting in mha. people extract romantic significance and ship things based on very different factors---eye contact, hand-holding, friendship, emotional intensity whether positive or negative, blushing, shared themes and how the narrative frames the characters--and the list goes on--and personally, i gotta say that voice acting definitely is one of those factors for me!

needless to say, the voice acting is part of what initially put endhawks on my radar at all. hawks's introduction very efficiently establishes him as collected and unflappable, but in the high-end fight that mask crumbles. (also pardon the void--crunchyroll blocked my screen recorder, so the media is purely in asmr-podcast-form ig) ((in both english and japanese!))

i mean, the raw dialogue was already doing a lot, but the voice acting enhanced it even further. in these couple of lines i had to reckon with the earnestness, the familiarity, the affection, the desperation to help, and wonder where all of that was coming from. from a doylist pov, obviously, none of that was supposed to sound romantic, but from a watsonian pov the possibilities were endless! funnily enough (and there are for sure plenty of folks who validly disagree), the tone of voice to me did not sound remotely filial--like idk i love members of my family but i don't sound like that when i talk about them, and it'd feel a lil weird if i did--but that judgment of mine is personal to me and based on a lot of vocal subtleties that can easily be read as platonic by someone else. i recognize that subjectivity applies extra hard to things like tone of voice and facial expressions (i've absolutely been on either side of seeing the shipping vibes or not seeing them at all), but i think that subjectivity is more of a feature than a bug! it's part of what makes things interesting!

so anyway, when hawks was introduced to endeavor at first i was like "haha what an odd couple, ig the flaming garbage man is bumping up against a colleague for a second so he'll get humbled and then that'll be it"--then hawks started really sayin and doin shit that had me like "oh. so it's like that then. sorry my mistake" lol.

hi! for the last almost two years, i've been writing a benchtrio-centric dream SMP college student government au! at this point, that feels a little weak for all that it is, since it covers a LOT more than student government.

the setup: ranboo is an assistant to the Somnium Peninsula University's student government (Board and Senate) and in their first year at the university. tommy and tubbo are both on the senate, as are a variety of the other dsmp characters. tommy and tubbo meet ranboo, and almost immediately begin a friendship with them, but ranboo is full of trauma and dealing with a lot of shit on the side, making things a little rocky for them.

but wait, there's more! you've got queer characters, characters with disabilities, acknowledgement of the shitty side of american universities, heavily researched medical issues, and a story of found family and learning that there can be more to life than what's been thrown at you.

I believe it was a pretty elf girl who ditched him for a dragon boy back in like second grade. this has had disastrous consequences for the galaxy

3. Does your character believe in soulmates, and why or why not?

Yes. he thinks every girl he's currently talking to is definitely his soul mate. he has the memory of a goldfish so he will forget all about her once he sees another one. He believes in soulmates because he read Dusk and Dawn, the space equivalent of Twilight

4. What traits does your character find most attractive in others?

Sigh, it's a simple formula. When it comes to women; 1. nonhuman lifeform. 2. big tiddies. 3. taller than him. There are a few negative traits that will invalidate attraction even if the above traits are met, such as, for example, if the target is a bug (he fears them, because of the prophecy) or an owl (he's racist). When it comes to men he swoons for bishonen types, whom he calls hotboys, but is in deep denial about it

5. What does your character fear most in a relationship?

Nothing. he thinks once he secures the fuck all his problems will be over forever

6. How does your character handle jealousy or insecurity in relationships?

He is the most jealous and insecure person in the universe, but fortunately has never been in a relationship

He still thinks about that girl who got way (in grade school)

He's space italian and so he's got that romance language view of love as a fiery and bombastic thing

well he's always talking shit about his mom despite her being a sweet woman. granted she was a strict disciplinarian but she loves her son. of course after the terrorism the whole family disavowed him which only reinforced his views

14. What lesson about love is your character still trying to learn?

there's a million lessons he should learn but he's not going to. look I think everyone can be saved if they look deep inside themselves and make a genuine effort to change. but skurret is incapable of that. he's going to die alone and go to hell, and there won't even be hot demon girls. there's just gonna be me, with a bat.

(*disclaimer I don't know if this is an actual bulgarian woman choir but the vocals are very reminiscent of the style of music) Alternative title: If you decide to listen to only one single song from this soundtrack make it this one. Please I beg you.

Heir to the Dragonlands - This one is definitely a fan favourite if you believe youtube and reddit comments. Not among my personal favourites necessarily but it does pack quite a punch. It definitely fits the situation it's used in.

Bastorias Stage - This is a map theme that plays while you're sending your troops across the snowy lands of Bastorias. It's just really pretty idk. I love the layering around 1:30.

Bastorias Battle - Difficult to show with the song in isolation but those first few notes hit hard when the stage theme transitions into this battle theme. I love how it flows with such an airy bounce while keeping the appropriate oomph for a combat theme.

Isle of Palevia - This plays on a tiny island and I love how the slow bells give the illusion of ships anchored in a harbour. You know the sound I mean?

Drakenhold Stage - Man, the strings.

Drakenhold Battle - Of course, my beloved. The favourite. The blorbo. Idk it's just sexy. Listen to it.

Elheim Stage - This song perfectly embodies what it's for: elves hiding in forests and ambushing you. Not necessarily among my favourites but I do like it a lot for sounding so... sneaky. Mischievous. There's something lurking in the dark. And it's a pretty elf in thigh-high boots.

The Holy March - Ok last but not least... I'm biased because this was a unique theme for my favourite battle in the game lol. A late game theme (if you stick to the intended chronology), it's pressing, it's urgent, it reeks of angels that need a beating. I really love that one, it set the atmosphere for the battle perfectly.

Absolutely screaming and shidding and farding at the lowly toad servants bowing to Rabbi Bowser Haman in the Purim chapter of the webcomic my girlfriend @starfish-comics has created. There is no definite decree regarding the issue. However, there are some signs of it. They are as follows: a person sees himself away from sins; he feels that the joy in his heart lessens; he feels the power of Allah Almighty on everything that he looks at; he approaches good people and moves away from bad people; he regards very few worldly things as a lot and a lot of deeds for the hereafter as very few; he keeps his heart busy with what Allah rendered fard; he controls his tongue; he always thinks; he always regrets about the bad things he did.

A person who performs worshipping as much as he can should not think about whether his worshipping is accepted or not; he should think about his duties.

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) talked about Friday and said, “There is an opportune time on Friday and if a Muslim gets it while praying and asks something from Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) , then Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) will definitely meet his demand.” And he (the Prophet) pointed out the shortness of that time with his hands. [Bukhari #935]

The most famous opinion is that this special time is after Asr till Sunset and many scholars adopted this view. [See Fathul Baari V.3 Pg. 218-228]

IN CONCLUSION:

Durood Shareef (Salat and Salam) is encouraged every-day and especially on Fridays.

One may recite any wordings of Salat which one have memorized. Alternatively, any of the above two wordings may also be used.

One may recite it anytime from after Maghrib on Thursday until before Sunset on Fridays.

One may recite it 80 times, 100 times or any amount of times all have merit.

If one has the practice of reciting Durood after the Fard Salah of ‘Asr on Fridays, one may continue based on the general narrations above.

And Allah Most High knows best.

"The Pledge." From Surah 19, Surah Maryam, "The Mother of the Dawn."

I spoke in the last frame about the need to know the Quran first. As the pillar of the faith, it defines all the rest- Sawm, Zakah, Hudud, Sadaq, Salah, etc. Faith without a foundation in these is the most deadly poison man will ever consume. Without first hand knowledge of the Quran, madmen are allowed to call themselves prophets and gods and there is no way to force them out. So all mankind must know the Quran as competently as it knows the rest of the books in use in churches in temples as its advice can save the planet.

To this effect, I found a Hadith, faith in practice that applies the Quran to a contemporary problem: How to confront persons identifying as Muslims who manufacture weapons for the purposes of aggression, and convey to them they must submit to the pen for the sake of peace.

There must be Tafsir, surrender to the Will of God which states, "do not fight." I have asked the world for a council, a Majlis to discuss a commerce related solution to the conflicts in the Middle East but none are disengaging. The Quran says if we do not face the future with faith in disengagement, we will sow a field of regret:

2:214-216 

 Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while such [trial] has not yet come to you as came to those who passed on before you? They were touched by poverty and hardship and were shaken until [even their] messenger and those who believed with him said,"When is the help of Allah ?" Unquestionably, the help of Allah is near.

They ask you, [O Muhammad], what they should spend. Say, "Whatever you spend of good is [to be] for parents and relatives and orphans and the needy and the traveler. And whatever you do of good - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it."

Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not.

Also:

3: 156-163

" O you who have believed, do not be like those who disbelieved and said about their brothers when they traveled through the land or went out to fight, "If they had been with us, they would not have died or have been killed," so Allah makes that [misconception] a regret within their hearts. And it is Allah who gives life and causes death, and Allah is Seeing of what you do."

Surah Maryam adds to this, stating firmly, there is nothing to be gained by disobeying the Quran.

19: 77-82:

"Have you seen ˹O Prophet˺ the one1 who rejects Our revelations yet boasts, “I will definitely be granted ˹plenty of˺ wealth and children ˹if there is an afterlife˺.”?

Has he looked into the unseen or taken a pledge from the Most Compassionate?

Not at all! We certainly record whatever he claims and will increase his punishment extensively.

And We will inherit what he boasts of, and he will come before Us all by himself.

They have taken other gods, instead of Allah, seeking strength ˹and protection˺ through them.

But no! Those ˹gods˺ will deny their worship and turn against them."

Commentary:

Unless one reads the Quran on one's own and then attempts to follow in the paths of those like him, there is no hope for an end to corruption in the world. Muhammad said only the compassionate shall inherit rewards in this life and the next. Those who claim the rewards are earned or taken in other ways are false gods and all worship of them must be turned against them.

None of the other texts of faiths feature articles for disengagement, for ways to end wars and bloodshed caused by aggression. Islam is the only one.

Now that we have read about it, let there be Tafsir all around the world, surrender to the power of the pen. This is what is meant by the pledge above. The pen is God's Fard, His Mule, His beast of burden for the onset of the Masjid. Upon its first strokes, we must convene the Majlis, identify the New Emirates, replace warring factions and governments with God's saints, and pray we reset the Hour.
