Did they stop doing family meals once the new restaurant opened? I feel like we haven't seen them have those meals in the new restaurant.

Picky Eaters, No More: Genius Strategies for Happy Meals
Strategies for Picky Eaters Understanding Picky Eating Picky eating is as predictable as your kid’s next obsession with dinosaurs or princesses. Around age two, they eat like they’re entering a super growth phase—munching on anything that fits in their tiny fists. Then suddenly, they turn into little food detectives, sniffing and scrutinizing every morsel. It’s got some science to it; turns…

[Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th]
It's a big weekend for me since I don't have work on Monday. I'll work next Sunday for the big holidays come back though, which is going to be quite hard. But for now, rest.
My Saturday was, unsurprisingly, a very lazy day at home. I slept until 10 am, when I woke up to take my medication and have a light breakfast and tea with Mom. Meaning I didn't eat for lunch, only snacking around 3pm and waiting for dinner.
The afternoon was spent writing, which went quite well since I managed an impressive 4k words. It's the most I wrote in one setting for some time, even if I reused some parts of my previous draft to do so. It's also the first time I wrote that much for my original project, so I'm quite happy with myself.
I helped Mom prepping the veggies for the soup while she took care of cooking the meat. It's a really simple vegetable soup but putting some meat in it makes it really good and filling, yet light enough to avoid nausea.
I managed to write a bit more after dinner then went to sleep. I had to wake up between 8 and 9 to take a shower before we had to leave the house for the day.
Today we had a family lunch planned with my cousins, aunt and step-uncle and grandma (all on my mother's side). My little brother joined us as usual, so we did a little detour to pick him up at Dad's farm. I managed to pet one of the barn cats while we waited for him to be ready.
The lunch was nice, my aunt had some really good pieces of meat (even too much of it) for the main dish. I shared with my brother, 1/3 for me and 2/3 for him, since he eats a lot more than I do. We exchanged presents before dessert and I got some cash from my grandma (for both my birthday and Christmas since they're close in date) as well as a little cooking appliance, to help make crepe and pancake batter. I'll have to try it soon but I'll need a recipe and the ingredients first.
The drive home was probably really peaceful for my mother since my brother and I were basically in a food coma and slept during all of it. We dropped him at the farm, where my father was back from our paternal grandparents but we didn't get out of the car as it was already quite late.
My "dinner" was an herbal tea and a muffin I bought Friday and kept in the fridge since I couldn't eat it beforehand. It was a bit dry but still good and more than enough after the big lunch we had. I thought I would be able to draw a bit this evening but the sleepiness hit harder than I thought. I'll probably read a little chapter of fanfic then go to sleep, to be able to wake up around 8am tomorrow.

Trying to talk to my mother always ends in tragedy. I'm exhausted. I did the mistake of commenting my brother's hateful discourse. Never again. She ended up attacking me for defending depressed people. Everything turns against me.
