Achieve Balance in Life for Lasting Happiness
“Happiness is not a matter of intensity but of balance and order and rhythm and harmony.” Thomas Merton Finding peace and harmony in life is essential, and it comes from many aspects of how we live. In relationships, it’s about ensuring that both people feel respected and heard, without one person being overwhelmed or neglected. When we create a healthy flow of give-and-take, both sides can…

Jesus still loves you when you don't understand what He's doing, when you're tired of waiting, if you struggle with your mental health, if you haven't spent time with Him today, if you struggle to love yourself even if you have nothing left to give. He still loves you.

There is this saying my mom used to say "the mouth speaks of what the heart is full of," and that is true, as emphasized in this passage. It shows us the immense power our words hold, and our responsibility in taking care of what we say, after all words can kill just as easily as they can build people up.
Another key take away of these verses is that the tongue can only be tamed if we are with God. Taming the tongue isn't just about self-discipline, but it's also a reflection of one's relationship with the divine. If we speak of God in church, but with our friends we say foul words, we are practicing hypocrisy.
In essence, the wisdom of James 3:1-12 reminds us that our words are a window to the condition of our hearts so we should take care of what goes in it.

Faith is an essential element of our lives. We need faith as we face the different seasons and the change that they bring. But in all this we can expect and believe that Jesus will do the impossible for us.
Hebrews 11:1 defines what faith is.  It is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see.
We need always to have faith in God and believe that He is able to fulfill all that He's promised us. Not one of His promises will fall to the ground. Every one of them will come to pass. We need to be patient and wait for His timing.
The people in the Bible, who God used, were known for their faith in God. Against all odds they put their faith and trust in God.
Hebrews 11:2 says, Men of God in days of old were known for their faith. Let us be people of faith and expect great things from our God.

John 15:12-17 (NASB). 12 “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. 13 Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do what I command you. 15 No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. 17 This I command you, that you love one another.”
“The Best Friend You Will Ever Have” By In Touch Ministries:
“Our Savior is forever faithful and will meet our every need.”
“Many of us are familiar with the hymn “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.” We know that our Savior is a great friend (John 15:15), but let’s consider some specific aspects of His relationship with us. He is...
Committed to us. This commitment is for more than a lifetime—it’s eternal. And though life is bound to hold some disappointments, the Lord Himself will never let us down.
Open and transparent at all times. Jesus will continually show us more about Himself as we desire to learn.
Sensitive to our wants as well as our needs. He knows how to meet our deepest longings and lovingly invites us—over and over—to connect with Him.
An inspiring, comforting listener who’s never quick to criticize. He doesn’t interrupt, and His eyes are so lovingly fixed on us that His heart hears exactly what we are saying.
What kind of friend is Jesus? John 15:13 answers that question: “Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends.” Because He gave Himself for all people, we as His followers can certainly offer our friendship to someone else. Who in your circle of influence needs the sacrifice of your time or care?”

“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”

When we become frustrated with God’s apparent delay in answering our prayer, it is good to remember that He is interested in developing faith and perseverance in our character (James 1:2-4). Wait on the Lord!

To: The Discouraged
"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." - Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)
Discouragement can often weigh us down, making us feel overwhelmed and helpless in the face of life's challenges. This verse provides inspiration, reminding us that we are never alone in our journey through life. Even in the midst of difficulties and uncertainties, this verse encourages us to trust in the presence of a guiding and caring God. It's a reminder that we can take each step with confidence, knowing that we are accompanied by divine love and protection.

"Show me the right path, O LORD; point out the road for me to follow." Psalm 25:4
Life is confusing at times. We want so desperately to follow God's will and direction, we pray, but then feel uncertain, not wanting to make a wrong move.
The Bible says, " Good and upright is the LORD; therefore He shows sinners the way. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them His way. All the LORD’s ways are loving and faithful to those who keep His covenant and His decrees " Psalm 25:8-10
God will always show us the right way. When we get sidetracked, God will direct us back to the right path.
Dear Lord, help me, I am in need of direction. I know You hold my future. Help me to be obedient that I might follow your direction. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
