So, I had to switch to group therapy circle…

Which means I'm sitting in a circle with a bunch of idiots.

(Note to self: get yourself banned from that and go to solo yoga)

My brain is unable to produce anything but angst.

Like I had this cute fluff idea of Carlos being a Ford fanboy and moving to Nightvale inspired by his favorite scientist going to study Gravity Falls in the 70s/80s. All mostly based on the fact Carlos moved to Nightvale the same year Mabel and Dipper went spend the summer at Gravity Falls.

And it was cute. It was mostly Carlos sending fan letters/reports and Ford reading them and deciding - thanks to Mabel - to answer and making a friend he didn't had a complicated past with (and had a similar love for science).

But them my brain went "Ford would fully assume Cecil was like Bill, right?" I mean from Ford's view there's a paranormal guy who imidiatly is into the scientist? Clearly manipulation.

And at first it was still fine. Maybe Ford helped Carlos own inicial distrust of Cecil. But my brain kept going. To the point it decided that maybe what makes Stan and Ford visit Nighvale after the Weirdmagedon is the news that Carlos is not being cautelos and instead is dating Cecil.

So at this point it was still just a funny au with Ford thinking Cecil is some type of evil charming eldrish god that'll end the world while Cecil is just bonding with Stan and super trying to impress his bf friends.

But finally my brain went: "okay but what about after Ford realizes that Cecil is just an overly dramatic paranormal guy and truly just loves Carlos?". And I realized that while of course Ford would be happy for his friend and relived about the world he would feel even more as if Bill was his fault. Here is Carlos just getting a sweet guy and maybe he was the only one that couldn't see the difference.

And now I need someone to write it and give Ford a hug.

alpha NEEDED love and compassion. but it's hard to give love and compassion to someone who lashes out at the slightest provocation.

omega tried. he DID love alpha. for a long time. but the obsession and the violence and the blaming omega for alpha's outbursts was too much.

it's hard when every negative feeling burns up inside you and comes out of your mouth as anger. and you feel out of control, because once you start you can't stop, and that terrifies you, and that just adds fuel to the fire and you just get meaner. and all you want is for him to take you into his arms and tell you it's okay, but you won't let him, and he's raising defenses against you, and he's retreating and you're digging your claws in and you're scared and desperate and you can't stand the idea of being alone

and then he leaves you. and then you're alone. you have your old pack. the first ghouls you played with, years ago, but they're not exactly the emotional type. they're cold and sharp and they keep to themselves and you tell yourself that's fine with you. you tell yourself you're fine with only ever sharing the warmth of another ghoul when you're a means to an end.

and you get meaner. and colder. and all the hurt inside you turns to steel in your gut. and you can't stand to think about the possibility that maybe, just maybe. if you'd had the love, it wouldn't be this way.

anyways. I came to realise i had only drawn her profile (and once before, crying her eyes out) and i’m so pissed at myself because i have SO much i want to do with her. i’m not exactly sure how i want her dress to look, but i think for most scenes i will just depict her in a nightgown, considering she spends nearly the entire story in bed due to her sickness. She is engaged to Eden and I need to draw them together. i need to draw her more generally, seriously.

In art club one of the teachers asked if she could see my art for the au and i just lied and said i only had it on my computer cause ommmg the yaoi is so embarassingg.... i’ll show her the non suggestive stuff eventually i swear omg but i panicked i hate being gay and stupid. that makes me sound like an unironic fujo fuck but it’s true, i’m embarassed as HELL about all the xanvid in my hard drive. but Um. besides that point.

Very tired, about to bully my brother for his bday, finally fixed my little Brenda problem, feeling alright! Enjoy some In Sound Mind hc’s and stuff as a treat!

• Magdalena has her hair died bright red. I don’t make the rules.

• Virginia makes a mean green bean casserole.

• Virginia’s brother is a nurse, and her parents are both accountants. Or something.

• Jorge and Samantha are engaged.

• Inez is a lesbian, and has a crush on the mysterious, quiet woman that just moved to town and started working at the library.

• Desmond often gets migraines, especially after That One Big Thing That Happened.

• In a zombie apocalypse scenario, Rosemary is the first to die, followed closely by Dave. Thankfully, there is no zombie apocalypse happening anytime soon. Probably.

• Max lets Maddison put makeup on him sometimes, on his good days. Lucas saw this one, and still hasn’t shut up about it. He brings it up every chance he gets.

• Allen can’t eat much at once, with his anxiety making him nauseous often. More than once, he’s gotten sick at dinner with one of the others and has to explain in a way that makes sense, which is difficult.

• Rosemary will not hesitate to punch a bitch. She’s done it before, and she can and will do it again. Anyone who’s an asshole or a Mayer employee is at risk.

• Allen sometimes forgets random things like where his keys are, what day of the week it is, where he put that book that he was just reading. But there’s things he never forgets, like his friend’s birthdays, faces, shipping schedules…

• Virginia hates gummies. Hates them. Cannot stand the texture. Will gag at the taste, no matter the flavor. Giving her gummy anything is akin to a declaration of war.

• Dave is an amazing cook, and a truly awful baker. Jorge is the other way around, he makes some great cupcakes.

• Maddison knows more than she should about What Happened from eavesdropping and snooping, and often confuses her mom by saying things like "Daddy’s doctor has a cat and a purple man in his head". Thankfully, Alice just chalks this up to stress and imagination, and thinks nothing more of it.

^ Maddy likes to pretend that she’s a detective, and she’s living out one of those "Vampires Don’t Drink Lemonade" or "Wizards Don’t Need Computers" books, y’know the ones.

• Max talks in his sleep a lot. Sometimes it’s cussing someone out for being dumb on the road, other times it’s utter nonsense. Virginia records the funny stuff and uses them as blackmail.

Very tired, oof.

I’ve got a bunch of ISM doodles that I think ima post here, sometime. I’ve found a way to doodle that’s actually fun and not stressful for whatever reason.
