Someone mentioned how they should put qphil back in the birdhouse when ccphil leaves for Brazil later this week, and like. It's a weighty name, and it's not one his parents would ever have chosen for him, but the ravens are familiar in Whitestone and he and his siblings get visited with them whenever it's difficult, and the ravens had been persistent when he'd been figuring out himself and what name to take.

He got the feeling his Uncle Vax wanted him to take on the name.

After all, they've got a lot of lost family to honour. He's going to do his damndest to live up to that.

i love both the cute and hilarious idea of poor vax'ildeux being in the "dead heroes names club" with wilhand'ildan and the absolutely heartbreaking but heartwarming idea of him choosing this name. because i can see vex being so worried about how vax will be remembered - the hero of exandria, the champion of the raven queen, and unfamiliar and impassive mask in temples the world over - and then her child comes up and asks to take his name as a sign of honor, of choice. and she knows that the kids know the vax she wanted to be remembered, both because of how she talks about him, and because of the stupid ravens that are just as annoying as he ever was. and some of that burden lifts from her shoulders

and she knows vax would have crowed (ha) about it endlessly, so fucking proud and supportive of his nephew, which makes vex even MORE emotional about the ordeal

He has his family now. He sometimes talks to his siblings and mum. But he ‘sadly’ can’t talk to Enji because his dad suffered a very strange ice accident. Of course Rei couldn’t save him from the frostbite he suffered on their holiday. She was just to weak, not a hero at all. She’s very very sad. Yes yes.

So sad she’s helping the league by letting them stay at her house and learning how to be a free woman and mother. And if she’s laughing for the first time as Toya, Natsuo and Shoto argue over Soba flavours, well the accident was a few months ago… 🤣🤣

i know i’ve said this a billion times before but my ideal and dream ending for touya would’ve been that he + enji both died, at the hands of touya himself. we had the perfect opportunity for this ending when enji was bringing touya into the sky to explode, and then fucking rei had to stop it (¬_¬")
