Dear soon became Katara, but they make a clear distinction between Aang and the Avatar. They call Lasko Aang for being an airbender, but they call themself the Avatar for using multiple elements. They also call Gavin Appa for the fact he can transport them, but Gavin pointed out that that’s not the only reason. 👀

Lasko surprised the whole crew once by greeting Damian with a Flameo Hotman! Hux and FL laughed for 10 minutes.

Asher belts Adele full volume while driving.

Hush would love pineapple pizza.

At previous Summits, if someone asked Vincent about his life before turning, he would often use plots from 80s movies.

Gavin has a secret love of anime and only Freelancer knows. Although Hux also loves anime, Gavin is still reluctant to talk about it.

Freelancer likes true crime documentaries, but turns them off if Caelum drops in.

Porter and Treasure don’t know that both of them like taking walks in the rain.

One of Angel’s favorite movies is Teen Wolf. David doesn’t know this and is confused when he finds Angel going through his yearbooks to see if he was on the basketball team.

Vega is grateful Warden stayed, but feels like they’ll never fully trust him or care about him. He doesn’t know he’s wrong.

Angel doesn’t go to bed until David gets home. They may fall asleep on the couch, but they won’t go to bed without him.

Darlin’ keeps at least one hand on Sam all night.

Baabe wakes up every time Asher gets out of bed.

Lasko, after realizing his friends still care about him and he works on not comparing their traumas, sends random checking in texts to the group chat they share.

William also sends check in texts to Sam, Vincent, and Lovely.

SH will sometimes ask Milo to shift just so they can hug his wolf form. Milo doesn’t understand why, but they love seeing him able to shift at will and is grateful his shifter form was strong enough to break the barrier and save their family.

When Milo starts to panic about anything, he goes back to SH holding him when he had his breakdown. He feels their arms around him. His heart syncing with their’s and he feels better.

Porter watched videos and got updates from William regarding the Inversion, but no matter how much he and Vincent hate each other, he still felt bad for him and Lovely for Lovely’s turning. He was surprisingly grateful Sam was there for them. The first question from his mouth however was if Lovely’s turning was consensual.

One very long sappy one to finish out so the Inversion ones aren’t the last.

When they were younger, right after Darlin’ moved to Daliah Gabe took them, David, Milo, and Asher to a movie, ice cream, and out to a place where they could shift. This gave the kids bonding time both as humans and wolves. He held races and watched Asher show Darlin’ play fighting. It took Darlin’ a while to get the hang of being around wolves their own age, but once they did they had a blast. Darlin’ started running too fast and wasn’t watching where they were going and trip hurting their leg (not bad). David ran to them and through their link kept telling them it was ok. They were ok. Darlin’ was too panicked and shaken to shift back so David stayed in wolf form with them. Gabe watched the whole time to see how David handled it once he realized Darlin’ was fine and not in any danger. David calmed them down by laying next to them and just being there listening to each other’s heartbeats. Milo and Ash on each side checking on their pack mates. Ash gave Darlin’ a little lick on their head which made them smile to themself. After they were better, David nuzzled up under Darlin’s front leg and helped them stand. Darlin’ whined as they stepped, but David had them, reassuring them the whole time as they got back to Gabe who reached into the truck and grabbed sets of clothes for each wolf. David helped Darlin’ into a covered area and once they were stable he left them to change, but came back when they were both dressed to help them to the truck. Gabe had a first aid kit ready. They got back into the truck when the teens started to go silent. Gabe glanced in the mirror to see Milo leaning on Ash’s shoulder and David and Darlin’s heads together, all sound asleep. He chuckled and drove home.

Found a gamer's dream home. It's an ultra modern 2016 home in Reunion, FL - $5.8M + $633mo. HOA, but you get your own casino, plus a game room, and 11bds, 14ba. Check out this luxury.

Do you like blue? The entrance foyer has nice blue wallpaper and look at the lights. As you soon as you enter, put in your security codes. I like the white marble floors, too.

This long area has a black wall with marble inserts and a black & white coffered ceiling. There's room for a seating area across from the huge kitchen counter.

I like that the kitchen isn't too open. It makes it cozier.

This is nice. Needs a little color, though. But, that's all cosmetic, you put your taste on it, it's a blank slate.

The kitchen is so large, that there's another sitting area on the other side of the counter.

And, then there's the everyday dining room with a view of the pool.

Plus, a larger formal dining room.

Then, check this out. It's like a casino hotel. You eat, then go play. I love the carpet.

For the gamers, there's the Arcade. Look at all the neon. Can you imagine having something like this?

Here's a large electric sauna with a shower.

And, a home gym.

This room could be the primary. Doors open to a covered terrace.

A large en-suite.

Covered patio by the pool has a built-in counter.

Very nice stairs and mezzanine.

This is cute- a nautical themed kids room with 4 beds.

Then, we have casino #2. Can you picture mom and grandma sitting at your slots?

Ahh, here we are! After much revision (to the point where the only thing that's remained are the graphics [and character icons that @pumpkinspicelatte-art allowed me to use]), I've finally settled on the cast and main story branches this extremely self-indulgent One Piece modern AU.

For personal reference (and for anyone interested) I'll be making the occasional handy info post. Coming up next will be backstories for various cast members, but for now, let's stick with the basics and kick this off with a general run down + main cast corral. Join me below the cut for a silly goofy time!

A beloved nightlife spot in Miami, FL, Golden Hand is packed from open to close. Featuring a sprawling bar, a cozy patio, and three main rooms filled with arcade games, it has something for you, whatever your mood! Come early and you can grab a booth or patio corner; if you like to mingle, the barflies and game floor crawlers are friendly; or, if you’re wanting something a little more thrilling: tell the Bar Manager you came to let off steam. He’ll know exactly what you mean. If that’s what you want, be sure to bring plenty of cash. Once you’re escorted to Golden Hand’s back rooms, you’re going to need it. The drinks are pricier, the smoke is tempting, and—is that a pinball pit? That guy walking around, is he taking bets? Are we gambling? Hey! Stop with all the questions. What are you, a cop?

Crocodile

Owner and founder of Golden Hand, Crocodile is the toast of Miami. Though he’s had several successful ventures, the barcade is by far his most popular. It attracts both locals and tourists and is the pride of the local game design community. Every indie creator from the keys to the panhandle dreams of having Croc scoop their project up! While he’s a busy man, he can be spotted in Golden Hand most nights. Come early enough and you’ll see him chatting at the bar with its manager. After dark though, the only place you’ll find him is the back. If you want to chat, you'll have to drop serious cash.

Mihawk

Bar manager, custom cocktail crafter, and—when necessary—drunk asshole ejector, Mihawk’s is a face everyone knows. Croc may own the place, but Mihawk keeps it running, handling everything from daily operation to public relations. Though his gloomy attitude makes him seem unapproachable at first, regulars and staff alike adore him. Once you sniff his sense of humor out, turns out he’s more witty than scary. Want to charm him? Show interest in his herb garden and never leave with your tab open.

Buggy

Originally a regular, Buggy was ‘offered’ the position of Floor Walker after security footage turned up evidence of him installing card skimmers onto high-traffic games. When confronted, he was given a choice between paying the house a lump percent of his earnings or working off the debt. Chronically broke, Buggy chose the latter. He now spends most nights of the week collecting empty drink glasses and exchanging cash for game tokens. Was this how he pictured ushering in his 40s? No, but he's making the best of it, and as soon as he clears his debt, he's out!

Doflamingo

Crocodile’s first and most pesky business partner, Doflamingo is the reason your cup is always full. He’s the owner of several vineyards, distilleries, and micro breweries, and the sole provider of alcohol—among other things—to Golden Hand. Along with his family, he spends every summer in Florida catching up with his old flame, reviewing their contract, and setting up the next year’s shipment plan; as well as making boat trips along the Gulf Coast and straightening out supply lines for… well, back room patrons, you had to know all that smoke came from somewhere.

Rosinante

An ex-marine and Doflamingo’s live-in little brother, Rosi is mostly uninterested in the family business. He has trouble saying no, however, so in exchange for pocket money, he lets his brother keep him on as a kind of secretary. Day-to-day, Rosi fields phone calls, arranges meetings, manages travel plans, and otherwise keeps his brother on track. This last task is critical, as anyone who’s worked with Doflamingo will tell you. No one’s sure how Rosi motivates him, and Rosi isn’t telling.

Law

Former ward of the Donquixotes, Law is enrolled in medical school. Prior to that, he interned with the business. While his job description was vague, he could always be spotted with Doflamingo on his 'boating trips’. Scuttlebutt is, he was a runner, and not the track & field kind. Though no longer an employee, he’s still close with the family. He lives in their house, Doflamingo pays his tuition, and he tags along on their yearly Florida trips—where he still, occasionally, goes boating with Doflamingo as a favor.

Patrons come and go at Golden Hand with the season. Some can be seen every night for weeks, or every weekend for three months; some venture in for special occasions or to impress their out-of-town friends only; and some seem like they've been at the barcade all their life.

Golden Hand appreciates any and all business, of course, but its regulars hold a special place in the staff's heart. There's something nice about knowing what faces to expect... even if some of those faces tend to cause a ruckus.

Shanks

A well-known barfly, Shanks spends 4-5 nights a week in Golden Hand. He comes in early and orders cheap drinks for all of his friends. Despite flirting with both the bar manager and floor walker, he usually goes home alone... and never a minute before closing. He's a very predictable (and unlucky in love) kind of man. He's chatty, an excellent tipper, and surprisingly good at air hockey, making him popular with other other regulars as well as the staff. A few nights a month, he can be spotted in the back rooms smoking with Crocodile. No one knows what they talk about, but these meetings always precede Shanks going out of town.

Smoker

A local cop whose beat includes the streets around Golden Hand, Smoker swings by two or three times a week. Coming off a shift, he'll order a drink to have out on the patio with his partner, Tashigi, before heading to his home outside the city. While he's heard rumors of the barcade's illicit dealings, Smoker isn't in a rush to look into it. It's a popular place, and Croc is friendly with Smoker's chief as well as the DA. Too much trouble, in Smoker's opinion. He's just here to drink.

The Strawhats

A delightfully rambunctious friend group who share a few apartments in Little Havana, the Strawhats can be found in Golden Hand every weekend. The trawl the game floor from open to close, mostly playing with each other, though they've been known to break off in pairs and challenge other couples. When not pestering Buggy for tokens or cozying up to barflies for free drinks, the Strawhats can be found in the back. Their pinball skills are the stuff of local legend, making them the favorites to bet on any evening they happen to be spotted down in the pit.

What You Will Need: 1 apple, cored 1 banana, peeled 1 tsp grated fresh ginger Small handful of spinach Small handful of kale 1 Tbsp chia seeds 1/4 cucumber 15 mint leaves Juice of 2 limes 3 ice cubes Scant 1 cup/7 oz/200 ml apple juice, plus extra if needed 1 tbsp honey

Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

If it feels thick, add more apple juice. Serve right away. This is certainly a boost you need first thing in the morning.

"Monty's Mouthwatering Melon Meltdown" "Show that you have a smooth side, too, by serving up this marvelous fruity mocktail. The watermelon, mint, lime, honey, and soda combo comes together perfectly for quite a unique taste. Top work!

Makes: 2 | Preparation Time: 10 Minutes

What You Will Need: 3/4 cup/7 oz/200 g watermelon, seeds removed 1 tbsp honey 5 mint leaves Juice of 2 limes 1 1/4 cups/10 fl oz/300 ml soda water, chilled

To Serve: Ice, for the glasses 2 Tbsp grenadine (optional) Extra mint leaves 2 slices lime 2 watermelon wedges

Put the watermelon in a blender with the honey, mint leaves, and lime juice and blend until smooth. Add the soda water and blend for another couple seconds.

Add ice to two tall glasses, top with the watermelon drink, and pour in the grenadine, if using. Garnish each glass with mint leaves, a watermelon wedge, and a slice of lime. Serve immediately.

Nationwide no other tourist strip is topping I-Drive but Arcade Monsters is the priceist "Free To Play" barcade I've been to in several states.

There's several locations, the one in SRQ the lowest cost but the most Eurocentric, so I opted for I-Drive as a farewell to FL of sorts.

$28 for really a handful of games. Eh, I've spent less in Memphis, TN and Astoria, OR and got the same results.

Shit just dont hit the same when FL is not the moneypot I knew it for when I first came out here 4 years ago.

Going from a min. Of. $300/wk. To $0/wk. when 'Bama has work and Texas will put me in porn, the next time I touch FL will be to touch base to go abroad. R.I.P.

Of course it would be raining on the day I got my car towed to the dealership, which was Tuesday. The night before, I pushed any worry out of my head about where I had left my car. I had pulled into a local business's parking lot while hoping that my flat tire would let me make it there. I had gotten a zero psi warning on my back left tire after leaving the grocery store. The car felt fine until it was obvious that it wasn't.

The business is this odd combo of a PO gun range, axe throwing, video and arcade games, Christian gifts, plants, and a diner. It was closed. Even the diner was closed on a Monday afternoon, so I was one of the few cars in the lot. They have signs up about how it's watched at night, so security wasn't the issue. My concern was more that they'd tow it since it didn't belong, but they didn't. It was there when Unfriendly pulled up with me at 8:30 a.m. We were right behind the tow truck as we pulled in.

The tow truck driver was this tiny woman named Priscilla. She was pretty impressive. She got me to the dealership with no issues at around 9 a.m. My tire was in stock and I was out by 10:45 a.m.

This all sparked a memory related to having to leave your car somewhere due to it not being drivable. I was maybe 11 or 12. My sister and I were going to her friend's house for an afternoon Halloween party the friend was having and I honestly can't remember the specifics. She had a son who was a little older than me who I thought was *cute* AND he played guitar.

My costume for that year was a French maid and I'm pretty sure I got it at the Sears Halloween shop. They still sell child maid costumes according to this Google search I just made. That is just not right.

Anyways ...

My sister's car broke down on the way to her friend's house. It wasn't on a highway, just a local road. Instead of taking me, the child, to find a payphone because this was the 80s, my 21 or 22 year old sister had me stay with the car. STAY WITH THE CAR. I was in a French maid costume just out in the open without an adult. And it's not like the car was running so I could take advantage of the AC. This was Miami, FL where fall doesn't exist.

I remember just sitting on the hood watching cars go by. No one approached me. I don't think I was worried about getting kidnapped and I don't remember being upset about things. I think we both knew that our father would have expected one of us to stay with the car because he got the car for her and protecting it from getting stolen was a priority. No logic at play there. I wouldn't have been able to prevent anything and I'm really lucky I didn't have a run-in with criminal.

I don't remember anything about the party itself or how we even got the situation resolved. I might eventually look through my teenage journals but I doubt I wrote about it.

I do remember going to this friend's house a few times. I also went to my sister's class which the friend was in one day. They were in a medical assistant program together. The friend brought her son that day too and we were test subjects. That was the first time I had to pee in a cup and that stressed me out.

As I was thinking about this specific memory, I felt such a mix of things - sadness that I can't ask my sister about details about it because she's dead, relief that I live in a safe area, and just straight up cackling that I was in that absurd situation.

This home is an Airbnb short term rental, but it's so much fun, if I had $7.9M + $42mo. HOA to buy the 1993 estate in Clermont, FL, I would live in it full time. It has 12bds, 9ba on 54.38 acres. The price includes the business, so you get all the stuff with it.

This room with the full kitchen and huge screen TV has theater seating and look at the balconies with figures on them. The double doors say "Cinema," so I guess this is also the home theater, but it looks like a family room.

The house is managed by an outside company, but the new owner can choose to do it himself. Also, the current owner has more ideas that the new owner can add to the property. I'm a little disappointed that every single room is sports-themed.
