!!! thank you very much!!! it's so nice to hear that you enjoyed lynne, and especially nothing & nowhere. i like n&n a lot; i think the atmosphere is very soothing... and i really like the art and the music. i think it looks pretty different compared to my other vns, but that's in part why i like it so much it was also fun writing a relationship between two female characters which was wholly platonic and almost maternal vs being a romantic relationship. it felt like a nice change of pace. i love writing yuri a lot too, but i like seeing my female characters interact in all sorts of different ways! aa i love writing hair brushing/styling scenes... it comes up A Lot in my vns in all sorts of contexts haha

Just played obsession for the first time and my only thought at the end was "That is not hater behavior, that is 'I am madly in love with you but I do not know how to say that without sounding like you won some abstract love mind game, so I will engage in psychological warfare to turn turn the tables and THEN we can be girlfriends' behavior." Me when I push away the love of my life in hopes that she will still love and accept me after seeing the worst side of me, because I am too much of a loser to be earnest about my feelings.

Absolute motherless behavior, 10/10, they were made for each other and I hope they are forever together in this hell of their own making.

Quick post to say that my cute (and free!!!) BL VN, Unluckily in Love: Fragments of Love, has been released on Steam and Itchio. This is just the first three eps of a planned ten ep series, but even with the first three eps it's already 150k lmao... Wow, can you believe I'm giving away 150k of cute BL fluff for free... No way... Anyway, you can read it on Steam here or Itchio here. UiL Fragments is a sequel to my previously released commercial BL VN Unluckily in Love, so you might want to read that first before checking this out, but it isn't required. I played It Gets So Lonely Here a while back and really loved it, so it was so fun to see your account on my dash! I guess I just wanted to say thank you(?)—dark fairytale themes are my all time favorite, though a little few and far between for wlw media, especially something as beautifully written and illustrated as It Gets So Lonely Here. The art and prose stuck in my head for a while after I finished it, and in general it became one of those things that reminded me why I personally love creating stories so much. So thank you, and I’ll keep looking forward to your future works :)

Is there a genre (or genres) of story that you'd like to write that you haven't or at least haven't written much?

Maybe a mystery? I always feel like I am Too Stupid to write a successful mystery story so I've never given it a go, but I think it would be fun... I'd also like to write a super generic cutesy moege at some point a la the Lump of Sugar or Peassoft VNs, with multiple extremely cute female love interests and very cute pastel art.

btw i finished the second editing pass and all of the coding of my spooky mushroom girl yuri vn her love, like poison i can't estimate a release date just yet b/c it's still missing a few assets, but it's close to being done! i'm hoping i can release it in a month or two! if you're interested, you can wishlist the vn on steam here! every wishlist helps a lot, i'm trying to get to 3k wls before release... i'm not sure if i can make it happen but i am Trying...

I have a fun question for you- what inspires you to write your many stories? Have you ever watched a show or read a story where you were so dissatisfied with an ending or situation and thought "I could write a better version of this!" and did?

I include author's notes in all of my VNs saying what inspired each story, so if you're curious you can always read those! I get inspired by a lot of different things, but I tend to get inspired by stories I like vs stories I don't. For example, Cage of Roses takes a lot of inspiration from Beauty and the Beast, but I didn't write it because I thought "wow the ending of Beauty and the Beast sucks I should make my own superior version of it", I thought "I like this story a lot, but it would be fun/interesting to tell a similar story with lesbians and vampires" lol I guess Sweetest Monster was inspired by Nekopara, which is a series I do not like all that much (I don't hate it, though; I just think it's pretty bland), but SM is so different from Nekopara I don't know if they're comparable really.

I have a funny specific question for you since anime was brought up.. Thoughts on Frieren, I'm in Love with the Villainess, and Konosuba?

I don't really want to give my opinions on popular works like this, because I fear if I say anything even remotely negative people who love these series will be angry lol

Do you have any thoughts on fantasies, isekais, or the recent villainess craze?

I don't actually read that much fantasy but I don't really have any thoughts of it beyond "it's a genre". I feel like fantasy is quite broad and encompasses a lot of things so I'm not really sure what to say haha As for isekais and the villainess trend, I think both have the potential to be done well! I do think they're both a little played out and I've seen so much of both it's a bit tiring, but I'm not going to discount the possibility that you can craft interesting stories with these premises.

Is there a certain couple trope you're fond of? Like rivals/enemies to lovers, jock and nerd, or tomboy and preppy femme?

My favourite couple trope is Yuel/Tavi specifically... Ahem, I'm very fond of introvert/extrovert pairings, esp if there's a bit of light-hearted teasing thrown in. Most of the couples I write have this dynamic.

What are your favorite anime? Do you have a specific genre that you fall for easily and ones you aren't as into?

My fav animes are probably Princess Tutu, Paranoia Agent, The Tatami Galaxy, and Welcome to the NHK. I'm also pretty fond of Hikaru no Go, Nana, and KuroBas (mostly b/c KuroBas is so silly lol it's a lot of fun). As for fav genres... I used to watch a loooot of magical girl anime (there was a period where that was p much exclusively all I watched lol), but I think I watch a lot of different stuff now. I like cute girls doing cute things shows, sports anime, dramas, comedies... All sorts of things! I guess my least fav genre (speaking in general terms) is shounen? I do like shounen sports animes on the whole, but I don't really care for shounen series full of fight scenes which focus a lot on power scaling and big epic battles; I don't tend to find "which character is the strongest" stuff all that interesting.
