This is a biiig hypothetical/imaginary scenario, but now I’m wondering how D.U.G would take care of Xan. Big murder lizard and the little kid (who is insanely powerful himself) that he’s babysitting. I can imagine the ironic situation that Durge is the most anxious of them all about Xan getting hurt

Resist Durge would perhaps would be the quickest to adapt to Xan's crazy potential out of the ex-tadfoolery gang. Put his skyscraping sorcerer ego aside to learn every possible wizardly spell to keep that child unharmed. Steal Buy plenty of counterspells just in case.
