I just read that Donald Trump and his circus took down a website called reproductiverights.gov
This was a website to help women learn about their reproductive rights in the US and to find health care.
This is absolutely disgusting so I’ll share in this post some resources in case you need them:

Yes. Keep your fucking hands to yourself. I’m not feeling bad for any man that decides to sexually assault a woman. And people want you to believe that misogyny doesn’t exist. I think we should actually make men as afraid of us as we are of them. Make them afraid to assault us.

Also want to add that you can help Congolese refugees through these two fundraisers for Peace African Hope Org, they have a perinatal fund - here : this goes to support the women and the babies who are seeking refugee, a lot of women have experienced S****l violence and need care. - and a daily expenses fund - here : this goes to maintenance, medical care, food, school expenses, supplies and etc that people need at the shelter.
I´m in touch with Emmanuel who runs the PAHO shelter and I´m the organiser of both fundraisers, I post receipts and regular updates on mainly my IG and TikTok, see my linktree for socials .
See PAHO´s linktree for more ways to help Sudanese and Congolese projects as well.
And there´s also over 40K Sudanese refugees that you can support here and they also have a instagram page - Sudan Refugee Project .
Also highly recommend Saving Algenenina - Hope and Haven for Sudanese refugees who are displaced, see their linktree for more ways to help and stay updated with their work.
it really is mind-boggling to me that the only reason i know about the Congolese and Sudanese genocides is because of the tireless work of grassroots activists and advocates posting on social media. I can honestly say that if I didn't have social media and didn't happen to be following Black authors and activists, I never would have known what was happening in Sudan and Congo because it is simply not being reported in the great majority of mainstream media. We're talking millions upon millions of PEOPLE enduring unimaginable pain and devastation with next to no official reporting. And yes that is in huge part due to the level of violence and displacement occurring that is preventing a lot of news from getting out of these countries, but it's also so blatantly due to anti-Black racism and the perception of African Nations as inherently savage and violent. But genocide is not and never should be normal for anyone anywhere. With that in mind, please keep Congo and Sudan in your thoughts. Check out Focus Congo for resources to help the Congolese people on the ground. Focus Congo's MO is a local organisation whose goal is to rebuild homes, rehabilitate land, and provide medical aid, education, and resources to Congo's most affected people. Also, Check out Keep Eyes On Sudan for how to help out and raise awareness of Sudanese people displaced by civil war. According to Sudanese TikToker bsonblast, donations to local food kitchens in Sudan are desperately needed to fight famine. If anyone has other resources specifically for helping Congo and Sudan, please add them and link them <3

“It’s not hard to imagine future generations one day asking: ‘When there was so much at stake for our country, what did you do?’ The only acceptable answer is: ’Everything we could.’” — Cecile Richards
Today, Cecile Richards, former Planned Parenthood president and feminist activist, passed away.
From the age of 16 in her home state of Texas to U.S. Congress, Richards dedicated her life to reproductive rights and women’s health. Her determination and legacy is one that will inspire generations.
We send our deepest condolences to the Richards family, her friends, and activists across the country.

It truly amuses me how, in the name of feminism, some have strayed toward misandry. Wasn’t feminism meant to empower women? To stand for equality, not superiority? Yet, today, we often see narratives that feel less like calls for justice and more like a reversal of the very prejudices feminism was born to dismantle.
Feminism was a movement born to provide women with the basic human rights they were deprived of, to challenge a society that made life a living hell, not just for women, but for men as well. It sought to create a world where opportunities and rights are determined not by gender, but by actual skills and merit. So, when did it become a weapon to belittle or demonize men?
Unfortunately, for some, the lines have blurred. The war against patriarchy has been replaced with disdain for men. Personal grievances have turned into sweeping generalizations, and the true essence of feminism; building bridges and breaking barriers seems to be forgotten. This misinterpretation is harming everyone.
The problem is that this shift toward misandry isn’t just theoretical; it’s real. Social media has become a breeding ground for narratives where men are demonized for simply existing, as if their gender is the cause of all societal problems. While critiquing the harmful aspects of patriarchy, some have taken it to an extreme, implying that men are inherently oppressive, that their actions are always rooted in misogyny, regardless of context. This is not just counterproductive; it’s dangerous. The idea that all men are privileged, that they cannot experience hardship, is a gross oversimplification. Yes, patriarchy has historically benefited men in certain ways, but it has also shackled them; forcing them into rigid gender roles, stifling emotional expression, and limiting their freedom in ways that many fail to acknowledge.
women have faced and continue to face systemic challenges. But the solution isn’t to tip the scales in the opposite direction; it’s to balance them. Feminism isn’t about proving one gender is better than the other; it’s about dismantling systems that have oppressed women while ensuring fairness for all. Feminism, at its core, should be a call to break free from these restrictive molds, not to create new ones. Men, like women, suffer from a system that enforces damaging stereotypes and limits human potential. A true feminist society would uplift everyone, regardless of gender, recognizing the commonalities in our struggles while celebrating the differences that make each of us unique.
How can we achieve inclusion if we exclude half of the population from the conversation?

Trump hasn’t even been sworn in for an entire day and his war on women has already begun. These next four years are going to be a very dark time for women.

Being disabled shouldn't equal being poor.
Abolish the sub-minimum wage, increase income caps for disability assistance, and establish universal basic income.
digital illustration of a disabled nonbinary person with leg braces. They have a green mullet and are wearing a black t-shirt, purple cargo pants, green chunky heels and a green belt. There's text that reads, 'being disabled shouldn't equal being poor.'
