anyone who thinks the 'male loneliness epidemic' is anything but a result of their own actions is literally a joke
males have literally made huge bit out of the idea of lying about being a male feminist/caring about womyns issues to coerce womyn into thinking they care about us and letting them have sex with us. idc if im being dramatic and its just a joke, its such a reflection of real life and they dont even know!
most men dont care about womyns issues. they never have, and they will. theres a very small percentage of men who are actually decent and womyn dont have to endanger themselves with toxic relationships just to find them.

Radical feminism is not misandrist, however. Many radical feminists are not misandrists so by your viewpoint, it is not a misandrist movement.
Summarizing a movement, which is vast and has been shifting and changing for hundreds of years, which has a long history and complicated past, into "all misandry" is so incredibly disingenuous.
Disguising your hatred for feminism by saying "but they are misandrists" is so illogical.
If one woman claims to be a feminist and misandrist, the entire movement will be discredited and shunned for existing. But if millions of men abuse people, it's "not all men".

I just read that Donald Trump and his circus took down a website called reproductiverights.gov
This was a website to help women learn about their reproductive rights in the US and to find health care.
This is absolutely disgusting so I’ll share in this post some resources in case you need them:

Being disabled shouldn't equal being poor.
Abolish the sub-minimum wage, increase income caps for disability assistance, and establish universal basic income.
digital illustration of a disabled nonbinary person with leg braces. They have a green mullet and are wearing a black t-shirt, purple cargo pants, green chunky heels and a green belt. There's text that reads, 'being disabled shouldn't equal being poor.'

Yes!! It's so good to see someone else talking about it outside of a gender studies dept. And Eloise Bridgerton is such a good example of the major flaws of that era of feminist activism (I only watched the show in the background so I can't remember if they portrayed her as an example of the limits of that feminism, or if they portrayed her as "good" because of it).
Poor/working class women and women of colour were doing feminist work, but the women who got the most publicity (and especially who are most remembered now) were the most privileged. They set the terms of public debate, and assumed their priorities were the same as all women. Second wave feminism did the same, and we can still see it in the current focus on getting women into C-suites and accruing wealth. It's a lot of wealthy white women with access to a ton of other privilege who, yes, experience gendered oppression, but have so much power over so many others. And because of the way our daft media system works, we keep presenting the same BS as "feminism".
The failures of liberal feminism, #MeToo, etc, have mostly been that we refused to look beyond wealthy, white, cishet women and framed their experiences as the height of women's oppression.
So someone, who claimed to be a historian, tried to argue to me on this here webbed site that women were literal slaves for all of history, forever and always amen. And I said something like, "I think women's rights and how well they were treated went up and down across time and different societies." But I was told to name these exceptions and that any exceptions prove the rule (which wow, way to set up an unwinnable argument), so I blocked them because obviously.
But like, I'm sorry, literal slaves? I know there have been many types of slavery throughout history, but I'm not sure I've ever heard of a slave ruling a country in their own right? Or slaves regularly inheriting property after the death of their owner. Because tons of societies allowed women to inherit their husband's or father's property if there wasn't another heir. I have heard of slaves being freed after the death of their owner and maybe being given some amount of money but not inheriting the freaking house.
I'm not a historian, but I've never heard a historian make such a blanket statement either. I just feel like if you are trying to convince someone that women had a hard time historically (who exactly disagrees with that?), this is not the way. It's such an exaggeration that it will be rejected.

This is exactly the kind of radical feminism we need one that refuses to let TERFs hijack the movement while also engaging in nuanced discussions about different experiences without exclusion.
You're absolutely right: radical feminism and TERF ideology are not the same thing. The existence of the term "trans-exclusionary radical feminist" inherently acknowledges that radical feminism isn't inherently transphobic. TERFs have worked hard to conflate the two, but their obsession with reducing womanhood to biological essentialism is antithetical to radical feminist thought.
And yes acknowledging differences in experience isn't exclusionary, it's reality. Just as race, class, disability, and other intersections shape women's experiences, so too does whether someone is cis or trans. Recognizing that doesn't erase anyone’s womanhood. The goal of feminism isn’t to pretend we all experience the world the same way it’s to liberate all women from patriarchal oppression, period.
Also, the way TERFs reduce womanhood to suffering is bleak and misogynistic. Womanhood isn't just pain it’s community, resilience, and joy. The fact that they see trans women as "not real women" because they supposedly haven't suffered in the "right" way says more about their internalized misogyny than it does about trans women.
And I’m so glad you brought up Andrea Dworkin. TERFs love to claim radical feminist foremothers, but conveniently ignore that many including Dworkin were not transphobic. Her lifelong partner, John Stoltenberg, has made it clear where she stood, and anyone serious about radical feminist history should take that seriously.
Feminism that isn’t for all women isn’t feminism at all. Keep pushing back against the TERF co-optation of radical feminism, because the movement needs voices like yours.
okay yall warning angry feminist alert!!! this might actually be somewhat controversial so i might take it down later depending on how i feel and also im not gonna delete comments just cuz i disagree with them but i will get rid of the ones i find disrespectful. this is my blog if u don't like block and move on 🫶🫶🫶🫶
there is nothing on earth that i hate more than woke feminism. makes my blood boil actually! i also hate how terfs and radfems are so intrinsically linked. i don't want to hear anything about 'oh well if you're a radfem you MUST be transphobic they're the same thing!!' they are not! that's why the term 'trans exclusionary radical feminist' exists. because regular radical feminists are not trans exclusionary. however pointing out the differences between trans issues and cis issues is 100% important to radical feminism. just because we're acknowledging that trans women do not face all of the same issues as cis women do does not mean trans women aren't women. for example, there are certain experiences i will never face as a white woman - i can empathize and do my best to listen to my peers - but i will never fully understand the things women of colour are put through, because i am not one. however just because we haven't had the exact same experiences as eachother does not make either of us 'less of a woman' than the other. trans women will never go through certain experiences that cis women do and it is important for us to talk about that. however, we still share a lot of the same issues and pretending like we both go through life experiencing the exact same biases is willfully ignorant.
not to mention!! being a woman is not just about the suffering we go through. and terfs that claim trans women aren't real women clearly view the idea of womanhood as nothing more than an inconvenience when at the end of the day it's truly a beautiful thing.
ps to anyone who wants to argue with me abt the whole 'radfems are inherently terfs' thing; it's a known fact andrea dworkin (one of the most prolific writers of radfem theory) was supportive of trans ppl while she was alive and her good friend/life partner john stoltenberg came out after her death stating that she was a trans INCLUSIONARY radfem
